I have had a 40 plus year career as a professional musician working on jingles and many hundreds of movie soundtracks, 18 professional orchestras etc. and I have something to say about this little bar. In the late 60's one would have needed many thousands of dollars to hear the clarity and instrument separation, nuances of each performer, dynamically and expressively to hear this order of cleanliness. I hooked up the optical cable, plugged in the obligatory power box, and selected ''pcm'' I believe, on the tv sound setting , turned on Pandora and cried. Musicians have historically never been able to afford such purity, which is ironic. I am in total appreciation to Whoever designed this instrument. Thank you so very much!
Sound. From a Bar.

I've got some high frequency hearing loss, which can make listening to TV dialogue difficult. Bad enough that I'll put on closed captioning when watching TV by myself. I've had some luck with 5.1 speaker setups, but invariably I upgrade something else and break functionality along the way or just get frustrated by having that many remotes. My family isn't very technically inclined so providing them a 3 point process for watching TV with sound doesn't work either. So I've been considering a soundbar and when the price dipped on this Vizio I took a chance. The soundbar arrives in pretty good shape. I couldn't tell it was refurbished by the quality or contents of the packaging. You will need the instructions nearby, as the soundbar communicates it's status and settings via a string of small LED's on the front. However it's otherwise fairly intuitive. The sound quality is good and better than the TV's own speakers. Is it audiophile good? Probably not. But I haven't had to turn on closed captioning since installing the unit so the dynamic range has definitely improved. The Bluetooth streaming option is surprisingly useful. While decorating the Christmas tree I was able to stream a holiday playlist to the speaker very easily. It's worked well enough that I've purchased a second one as a Christmas gift for my mother.I'm able to run the volume control from my Tivo remote that was already synced to my LG plasma so I only need the included Vizio remote when streaming to Bluetooth or, and this is the one negative - when it turns off due to inactivity. It doesn't appear to start up again with the TV so I still have to listen to my family complain that the sound isn't working and why does this take so many steps. But, the Vizio remote is very simple and even they'll figure it out at some point. You can turn it on from the unit itself, but it's black buttons on black plastic on the side in shadows. So good luck with that.
Excellent home theater system and looks great when put it on wall.

Great Speaker. They are perfect for my home TV. It has great sound voice is loud and clear which is great for movies and TV shows. wireless sub-woofer is great. I keep it the corner of the room and whole room fills with bass. In full volume sound distorts a little but that is nothing because it's louder than most speaker up to 100 db! . Great home theater. You cannot get any better in this price-point.
A Perfect Score
July 16, 2015
Every now and then, we all score the perfect purchase. This was one of those for me. The low price kept me away from this for a while, as I was looking for GOOD, not CHEAP. This is the best of both worlds. Obviously, this is going to sound different for every person in every room, we're talking about sound. In my situation, it was installed in a cabin home with wood floors, walls & high ceilings. The bass booms & reverberates so effectively, the volume is kept at one of the lowest settings (and still thumps). Super-easy to set up and tweak. Paired easily with phones & tablets. Quickly synced the remote to our Dish Network remote and have been loving it since. Can't say enough about the frequency response (lots of good-sounding bass, clear mids & highs). And this is TRUE 5.1 surround, not just a second set of L&R with delay. We often listen to the music channels on Dish (which transmits a 5.1 mix) and you can hear all kinds of independent parts coming from he rear surround speakers. Love this setup. Bought two. Might buy two more. Highly recommended!
Great Product That Fixed Our Sound Issues
March 15, 2015
We bought this sound bar for our Samsung TV after moving to our new home. The ceilings in our home which are vaulted made hearing the normal speakers on the tv hard to hear. We were hoping to use the sound bar in addition to our TV speakers but our TV wouldn't allow for it to be used that way so we switched the sound solely through the sound bar and it sounds AWESOME. We have no issues at all with sound now and it was super easy to connect and we were even able to sync it with our direct tv remote so we don't have to have an additional remote for the sound. It was a great purchase for the fix we needed.
A very good purchase - completely satisfied...
December 24, 2014
Like many savvy shoppers, I wanted a decent soundbar/home theater without breaking the bank. I needed something that will clarify dialog in movies while a lot of background noise is going on in my joint family/breakfast area/kitchen where my TV is located. I have a 50" Samsung Plasma TV, while reasonable speakers for a TV, woefully sad for watching movies, especially action movies. Now, on to my experience...first, I purchased a refurbished 38 inch 2.0 sound bar from Vizio with the dynamic bass module. It hooked up easily with the optical cable. Many people complain about no visual indication on the TV screen or LCD on the sound bar...keep in mind, these features greatly increase the price. Also, it is not hard to understand the display lights. Yes, I turned off the TV speakers as many have written about. My first test was a streaming K-Drama using my laptop and the sound bar for sound. I was very impressed with the clarity, in particular the little details that my hearing is keen to pick up on and appreciate. For example, the crumpling of a wrapper, the noise of footsteps on gravel, and other little sound effects that get lost on TV speakers. I then watched a Star Trek DVD and I did not need to turn it up very loud as I could hear the dialog and there was enough 'action' noise to keep me interested and engaged. Usually action scenes drown out the dialog and I use subtitles. Not necessary, but, out of habit I turned them on. My next test was the blue tooth. I hooked up my iphone, and watched Mannheim Steam roller videos on my Roku box using Youtube from my phone. It sounded just great.Pros: Easy hook-up, clarity in movie dialog, great 'stereo' sound, bass module very adequate for 'normal' listening pleasure giving fuller breadth of sound. Finally, almost unnoticeable against the black TV it sits in front of.Finally, the price was very good when using the amazon $70 gift card for the credit card and buying refurbished. (looked brand new), sub out is a great feature and many hookup options also. Cons: Not many really, but, bass could be more deep, there is a sub out for a powered sub-woofer which I am sure will be a nice addition. The minor complaint about a better indicator when switching is valid, but, minor. I cannot think of any more. That's it for now...happy listening. The price/sound equation justifies buying this for a family room or man cave for sure...PS. I wanted to add an additional comment. Since I hooked it up, I added a small, inexpensive powered sub-woofer from a cheap home theater system using the sub out connection. I noticed a difference right away regarding the breath and depth of the audio with this addition. I plan on buying a real sub later. It did make a nice presence. It will not beat an expensive 5.1 system, but for my listening, it is just right. Not too much thumping base, just need the lower frequencies for a more real experience...good luck with it. I think you will enjoy it.1/1/2015 update: Hi, I am back. I have read a lot of recent reviews regarding set-up and how they are dis-satisfied with the instructions and connection. I actually do not understand the issue that is occurring with some. I found the instructions succinct, clear, and connection easy. In addition to that, people did not understand what kind of TV outputs they had before purchasing this item. I think lack of understanding on the part of the buyer does not warrant a low rating. In any purchase, Caveat Emptor, (buyer beware), be smart enough to research items. Savvy shoppers do that right?Update: 8/6/16I'm still enjoying this. The Terminator Genesis movie really highlights the clarity and bass response. Note: I connected a Sony Bass sub speaker to the sound bar. I watched the same movie at a friends house who had a big amp, two sub woofers, and tower speakers and it was overwhelming, my setup sounded clear and did not blow me out of the room. It's about choices right?

Solid steel and good idea.
November 28, 2016
Good solid steel construction. They will bend if you twist it, but it works fine for what it needs to do. Comes with a big bag of screws, spacers and washers of various sizes to let you find the ones that will fit your TV. (NOTE: Make sure you use the right length. If you try and put too long a screw into the holes on the back of the TV, depending on the design of the TV itself, you may damage something. I had two different sets of bolts that would fit the holes, but one was twice as long. I did not hurt the TV, but think you could have...)My one suggestion/complaint about it is that when it's above the TV, it is sort of balanced on one screw on either side, and could use something like a couple of rubber friction washers or ridged plastic washers to help keep it in place. The plastic washers work ok, but if anything touches the sound bar it tilts to one side or the other. Doesn't affect the function of it, just looks bad.You will need screws to fit your soundbar. My soundbar had them included along with keyhole plates to hang on a wall, but none of the screws included would fit. Verify you have the right hardware before starting or you'll have the usual mid-job cussathon. One person can attach this to the back of a TV, but it would be easier with two, since with one hand you hold the soundbar up, one hand you hold the bracket in place, one hand you put in the screw and tighten it and your tail is swishing the flies and there you are.I used one of the round holes at the top to mount the bar, and the middle slots to attach to the TV to allow it to be leveled above it. As my TV is sitting on a shelf in the middle of the room, below wasn't an option. It doesn't sit flush with the front of the TV, but that doesn't really matter and will probably depend on your specific soundbar and TV. (Mine is a small soundbar and relatively thick LCD tv.)
Mounted Vizio SB3820-C6 to a Vizio M55-C2 TV
May 10, 2016
Everything went smoothly. Shipping was fast and the product worked perfectly. I mounted a Vizio SB3820-C6 sound bar above a Vizio M55-C2 TV using these brackets. I also have the TV mounted to the wall using a Kanto PDX650 wall mount. Both mounts work well together. The only hardware I needed from the sound bar mount was a spacer to place on the bottom two screws of the TV wall mount to compensate for the sound bar mount that used the top two screws on the TV mount.
Makes Life a Little Easier
November 1, 2015
I am very pleased with this product. I have a wall mounted Sony 50" TV, and wanted to install the Sony HT-CT370 Sound Bar at the bottom of the TV for a clean look and central sound. I have the AC plugs located high on the wall behind the TV and all cables run inside of the wall. But, I needed a way to "hang" the Sound Bar from the bottom of the TV without putting holes into my wall. I ordered this product along with the Sound Bar because the other reviews were good and positive about the versatility of this bracket. I was not disappointed. Made out of steal with plenty of holes and curves to align with the holes on the rear of the TV and on the Sound Bar, I installed it in about 20 minutes with the help of a partner holding the Sound Bar up in place while I aligned the screw holes. What I did was to unscrew the bottom two holes from the TV wall bracket and the TV, then I slipped in the Sewell Sound Bar bracket in-between, placing the wall mount bracket on top and re-tightened the the two bottom screw holes. Then I adjusted the Sewell to align with the Sound Bar at the bottom and tightened everything up. Nice product and I am so glad I ordered it with the sound Bar. This made life a little easier for me.
Excellent bracket.
July 10, 2015
This is exactly what I needed. It fits on the existing mounting holes and bracket on the rear of my Sony plasma TV and holds my Vizio sound bar flush to the bottom of the TV. It is the same width as the TV and looks as if the sound bar is part of the TV. I use a full motion bracket and this does not interfere in any way with movement of the bracket and TV. Excellent product and reasonable price. Very happy.
Third set purchased
September 14, 2013
I have three TVs; all have mediocre sound from mediocre speakers on the back. Two are on tilt/swivel mounts that extend out from the wall. I use a sound bar with each for improved sound. The brackets are a great concept. They let the sound bars tilt and swivel with the TV, and provide a clean installation look. The brackets fit all three different model TVs and all three different model sound bars. They take a little bit of care and effort for installation, but it's worth it. I recommend getting a small pack of adhesive cable clips; those let me run the cables invisibly down the back of the bracket. The sound bars sway just a bit when the TVs are moved, but they're secure and the slight momentary sway is not a problem. Inexpensive and effective!
Works just fine for what I wanted
August 9, 2013
These brackets hold my samsung sound bar no problem. My sound bar came with it's own wall mount bracket and I needed to buy some small bolts, nuts and lock washers but not because of the brackets. Great item for the price. I am using a Cheeta full motion mount to mount the TV to the wall and these brackets to hold the sound bar. I also posted some customer images.

Very good but not great
August 2, 2016
Package was such that well protected with shipment. Although advertised as refurbished, I detected no blemishes. Followed instructions but could not get sound with Digital Optical Cable (said best audio output). I had to use 3.5 MM cable---which apparently does not give but good audio output. I had to play with for some to figure out you MUST have some sound coming from TV to make this work----then play with the sound from speaker to get most of sound from here. You can then control the volume of sound from TV remote for both the speaker and TV. Of course the TV volume would also take place. I would say that the speaker from sound bar only mildly better than my regular TV speakers. Will say mildly disappointed. I have played with the Treble and Bass, but truthfully could not see much difference when changing these settings. Supposedly there is a setting called TVOL that is supposed to give you better listening experience, but I did not notice any changes with this. I have NOT tried bluetooth-----maybe some later date. I am presuming that if had not bought refirb product, that would have worked the same. Right now I gave it a rating of 4, but would like to say give it a rating of 3.5-3.8. This is because the cost is well withing line of what I wanted to pay, product had no blemishes, came with all the necessary cables, but a moderately disappointed in sound quality. Just a little better than my TV is all I can for this part. Will see if can get my Digital optical cable to work. Maybe that will change my listening pleasure. I do have a Vizio TV. I did NOT wall mount it. Should mention the case for remote, it is rather difficult to remove the back to put in the batteries----but doable. Would have hated to do this if had arthritis. Was able to get the digital cable to work after a few days. Slightly sound. Will now rate at least 4. Sound quality better than from TV. In my case, will need to give about 3-5 seconds after turning TV on for the sound bar to operate. Did notice that must redo the volume on the soundbar when I change different operations on the TV----eg go from Amazon movie to watching something from channel on TV. For me a mild inconvenience.
Great value for the price
January 1, 2016
For the price it was definitely worth it, and the inputs worked great for me since the TV didn't have Bluetooth, but i still like the bluetooth since it can pair with my iphone, and it significant improved most of the audio, (still have problems with the Roku YouTube channel) but one thing that dragged it down, is when I turned it off, it was really only on standby so when the tv was turned back on, the bar would turn back on. which is not what I wanted since grandma can't run a whole bunch of remotes with out getting frustrated, and and the only way to combat this is to unplug it while I'm not watching so grandma can use the tv from the audio. Also it is way too loud, often the comfortable volume for me is level 1 and it can't go any softer which is disappointing considering its equal or a little above conversational level, and at 0 I get nothing so when I subconsciously try to go further down with the volume to something I would consider quiet, I go from comfortable to none. But I'm guessing that for the average person that won't be a concern, and for the most part its not for me either, just annoying. I do however love the fact that it will search for the active device when you turn it on, regardless of what device you set it for before turning it off.
Sounds good. But lousy refurbishment
December 20, 2015
Got this refurbished in a lightening deal. The sound quality is good, and can go very loud. The woofer can really rumble when you turn up the bass. As far as surround sound it does a good job expanding the sound to travel back and forth in front of you. You won't be looking over your shoulder though. It was great that all needed cables were included.I RETURNED and REPLACED the unit because the sub woofer case looked a mess out of the box. Like someone threw it down a flight of stairs. See pics. I always considered "refurbished" tech to mean the functionality was compromised and repaired to spec. Not sure how they thought this woofer case was worthy of repair. The packaging was like new. Makes me suspicious of their definition of "refurbished", so thus the 4 stars. Also, when I went to register at Vizio I got a message that the serial number was invalid. So I guess Vizio did not refurbish it .Not really sure who did. But Amazon replaced it without a problem. I'll follow up here on the quality of unit #2 when its received.UPDATE: Received the replacement units. The woofer was unblemished. Fired it all up and enjoyed watching "Interstellar"
If it weren't for the remote, this is THE best!
August 21, 2015
I am waffling between giving this a 4 or 5 star rating. As far as sound quality it's absolutely a 5! I tested it a few nights ago, set to about a volume of 5 (out of a possible 10). Watching The Hobbit Battle of the Five Kingdoms. I just about ducked when Smaug flapped his wings. I'm sure the neighbors were none to happy, but I compromised by only having it up about 1/2-way. The sound is pure, the bass is as close to a bass-head's >12" sub-woofer. It covers all the bases. Lows, mids, highs, and basically distortion-free. I have this paired to a Vizio E48, and seriously I'm a new fan of Vizio as a whole now. I have the soundbar under the TV and the subwoofers behind me against the wall, 5' behind the couch. And the satellite speakers on Mount It! Stands. (Don't buy them, unless you want to finesse the plugs and wires into them rather brutishly). If I'm going to rave so much, why do I only give it 4? They really missed on the remote. WHY bother to use non-illuminating white letters on a black background? If you watch your movies in dark rooms (like nature intended) any time you might want to switch to a different feature, for me, go back from Bluetooth off my phone for iTunes and back to TV, you either have to throw a light on, or angle the remote towards the TV and strain to see what mode you put it on. Yes, you can learn how many times to push it, but it's still a big annoyance to me. Enough to make me take a star away in the end.Still it is, in my opinion, the best bang for the buck. Along w/ the Vizio E-series TV, I have a solid, great performing home entertainment system for way less than a grand. And when I add solid Cnet reviews, I can legitimately feel like I have an amazing system for far less than other people paid! Even if I went cuckoo down the road and went to Ultra 4K, I'd STILL use this for my audio. Switching modes will be instinctive by then. But for now, I still do check by the light of the TV.
Works well in my RV when my ac's are running
April 22, 2015
I use this sound bar in my fifth wheel RV with a 40 inch lcd sharp TV. When the A/C runs, you could not hear the TV well, so I thought I would try this. I have used it a couple times now and it makes a huge difference, i can finally hear my tv clearly with the a/c runing on high! I camp in FL, and my RV has 2 a/c running most of the time. All the features and the sound seems to work well with this sound bar. I bought a reconditioned one. I will say that I am a person that appreciates good sound, but I don't need to hear perfect sound. I am not a sound expert by any means. To me, the sound is fine. I my setup, the cables come out of my tv and into the sound bar. I have 2 types of outputs i use, the stereo rca jacks and the optical cable. The only complaint I have is that the rca jacks are the ones in use most of the time - playing a dvd, using my sat, or campground cable. The only time the optical cable seems to work is when i am using over the airways tv using my antenna. I am not sure why that is, since sat/dvd are both digital. I played around with it for hours to try an get the optical cable to work with dvd/sat and campground cable. The bottom line is that is probably my TV outputs that are the issue. I didn't want to waste anymore time playing around with it. And yes, i did try using different optical cables. The sound bar does come with an optical cable. My tv manual says that the optical output will only work work when hooked up to a digital source, which makes sense. My sat and dvd use hdmi cables, so they are a digital input, obviously...so it is strange that my tv does not ouptut those to the optical cable and into the sound bar. I will mention that I do have a hdmi box that all my hdmi cables go into before it goes to my TV(TV only has 1 hdmi input) that could be my issue. My TV antenna(from the roof) hooks to my tv via coax cable. In any case, whether it is analog sound or digital sound, it sounds very good and i am very pleased with the purchase. Bluetooth works well if playing music from my android phone. The speaker is heavy/solid and seems like it is well made. The remote is nice. You won't need to remote unless you want to turn it off or change the input source - bluetooth, analog or optical connection. You use your tv or sat. remote, so when you change the volume on the tv, it also changes it on the sound bar(an option on your tv). If you have this hooked up to your tv outputs(don't have to hook it up that way if you don't want to), the tv speakers will not be in use, you would get feedback from both pairs of speakers. If your tv speakers do come on, you would want to turn down the volume to zero and just use the sound bar...probably stating the obvious to most of you. I should also mention that my wife noticed a huge difference as well, since she also has a hard time hearing when the a/c's are on.
Works Well...Get the Firmware Update
March 9, 2015
I bought a refurbished model two months ago, to use with my 60" Sharp TV. Installing it was fairly easy, including mounting it on the wall (wall brackets are included), plugging in the optical cable (also included), and using a cable channel (not included) to hide the TV and sound bar wires. The sound quality is a definitely step up from the Sharp's TV speakers. We're very pleased with the improved sound quality and loudness, although my father-in-law (in his 80s) sometimes still struggles with discerning voices. Two cons:1. I tried programming my DirecTv remote to control the sound bar's power and volume, but no luck, even after trying about a six to eight codes. Therefore, we have to juggle yet another remote.2. This weekend, the included remote stopped working (hence why I tried to program my DirecTv remote!). I replaced the batteries, but that didn't work. I "power cycled" the remote (take out the batteries, hold the remote's power button for five seconds), but that didn't work. I then happened to find that one can also "power cycle" the sound bar by unplugging it, waiting a few seconds, and plugging it back in: that worked! I learned of that trick as Vizio has posted a firmware update for the sound bar to address this problem. I applied the update and hope that the remote doesn't fail again...except for weak/dead batteries. From a value perspective, five stars. But I'm giving the sound bar four stars due to my two cons above. And I feel a lot better than spending $700 on a Sonus sound bar!

Like solving a puzzle
December 19, 2016
Bought these brackets on the strength of the mostly positive reviews here. Would have given 5 stars except for the length of time required to figure out how to make the attachments. There are four elements that have to be negotiated successfully in order to get this mount to work: TV, TV mount, soundbar and the bracket. The process is almost akin to solving a puzzle and requires the user to patiently consider many possible approaches before arriving at the one that actually works. To the credit of the designers, there are more than enough places on the brackets to put attachment screws and they supply a large number of various screws plus washers and extenders. My particulars: The TV is a 47" LG TV on a Sanus swivel mount. The soundbar is a Vizio SB3821-C6. First preference was a below the TV mount, but would have gone to a top of the TV mount if necessary. Was easily able to find the correct screw pair to attach the brackets to the soundbar. The hard part is determining where to attach the other end of the bracket to the TV mount or TV. After considering many options, it became obvious that the best place was to piggyback on two existing TV mount screws. Removing those screws proved tricky because once removed the TV slipped in the mount so that the holes were no longer aligned. Nevertheless, with the help of some muscle, I was able to realign the screw holes and attach the bracket. This proved to be the perfect way to mount this soundbar which leaves a gap of about 1 inch below the TV but is necessary to be able to access the manual controls which are located on top of the soundbar. Finally, for this soundbar, the brackets block the access points at the rear of the bar for power cord and output sound cable. This was easily solved by disattaching the bar from the bracket, making the necessary wire connections and reattaching the bar. Probably could have flipped the brackets over, as well. The brackets provide a fairly solid attachment.
Be prepared in every sense. All associated gear is critical.
November 26, 2016
This bracket is both useful and somewhat flexible in terms of what products it will work with. It is best suited fortvs that are flat on the back, something that buyers seldom look at when making a TV purchase. As to sound bars, I have used it with the very flawed LG sound bar which ended up working ok and looking ok but that was due to repurposing fittings and ignoring all instructions. Avoid any attempts at making this unit work without an Extensive collection of spacers, screws, washers and other hardware. Choose a sound bar that is not too heavy and that has rear mounted screw on mounting provisions. While Sewell does not mention it, I added a second screw attaching the bracket to the rails which mount onto the TV. This keeps the soundbar from racking side to side and flopping around. This has to be done as the last step before mounting the assemble and great care must be taken to assure that the TV is not damaged when predrilling for the 1/2" #8 Truss head screw. The wall mount bracket must be substantial and should not be a shallow mount. Actually, a very strong, well made wall mount is essential and unless you are very lucky and not too concerned about cosmetics, a flat mount is out of the question.
It works well, but had to make some modifications.
June 3, 2016
Maybe it's because my TV (Sharp Aquos) is five+ years old, and my sound bar (Yamaha) is almost as old, but these didn't quite fit like I would have hoped. None of the screws that came with the brackets fit any screw holes on the back of my TV or sound bar – and they send a ton of screws, washers and sleeves in the box. I was sure that one set would work, but no. I used the screws that came with the wall hangers for my sound bar. I had never hung it on the wall, and fortunately the hangers and screws were still on the back of the unit. I removed those hangers and had four screws I could use to mount the brackets. Then I ran into another problem. On the back of my TV, there are only two screw holes that would work, and only two screw holes that worked on the sound bar. Well, I'm no engineer, but I knew unless there was somewhere to add a fifth screw (and preferably a sixth) that this was going to be an unstable situation. Also, I was short a screw to make that happen. I realized that I no longer needed the legs on my sound bar if I was going to hang it from the brackets, so I removed the legs and – two more screws. But I still had the problem of no hole to put the screw into to give the brackets the needed stability. I saw a hole near the right bracket on the back of the TV. I was able to angle the right bracket just enough to get a second screw in it. Now I had stability. From there it was just a matter of leveling the sound bar and hooking everything up. I stepped around to the front of the TV and by angling one of the brackets it had made the sound bar about 2-3 inches off center above the TV. This kind of thing doesn't bother me, but I know some folks that it would drive crazy. I let it go.Now, the most important part: It sounds WAY better. Previously, I had the sound bar sitting under the TV. In order for the TV remote to work, I had two pieces of plywood stacked under the TV stand to raise it above the sound bar. I didn't realize that by having that plywood and a Blu-Ray player, Roku box, Apple TV, cable box, etc behind and beside the sound bar, it was blocking a lot of the sound. Especially the bass.So despite all the modifying I had to do, it was worth it. It's like I have a new sound system for my TV.
Works great, had to do a little extra work to get it to fit just right.

It works and looks great!Pros:Looks like it will fit almost anythingStrong but light metalComes with an abundance for different screwsHigh QualityCons:Didn't have correct screws for my Sony Sound bar, even with all the extra ones that came with it. (Drill bit fixed that issue in about 2 second) Works great now.More of a gap than I would like difficult to get flush against TV with type of bracket this is but got the gap close in about 10-15 minutes within an 3-5mm or so doing it alone.Could of had more detailed instructions but it's not rocket surgery. If I would purchase in the future:I think I would have paid a little extra and get the type that has straight bars that each as an articulating arm (4 piece) (straight) mounting bracket vs the (2 piece) (curved)
A solid product that makes me want for nothing more.
January 2, 2016
Purchased this to mount a VIZIO SB4051-C0 40-Inch 5.1 Sound Bar on top of a Samsung Curved 55" UHD TV mounted to a wall with a Cheetah Mounts APFMSB TV Wall Mount Bracket. I thought that my curved TV would present a problem and this bracket might not work for me, but it works quite well.Took my tv off the wall and laid it on my bed to mount the sound bar. Removed the wall mount brackets and placed the soundbar brackets on first on the two top mounting holes in the back of the tv and mounted the soundbar to the end portions of the brackets. Used some spacers on the lower tv mount holes to make up for the thickness of the soundbar brackets. I should note also that with the curved tv, I was using some additional spacers already to allow clearance for all of the brackets due to the curve of the tv. All said and done, the effect is that the sound bar is sitting securely on top of the tv and looking pretty sharp. I could have hung it btw and spaced out the soundbar so as to not contact the tv, but I like and prefer it this way.In the packaging comes with a hardware bag full of screws, washers, spacers - pretty much everything you'll need to make this work. The only issue I had was that the shape of the brackets make it somewhat difficult to plug and unplug some of the connections in the rear of the soundbar. While not fully blocking access, they do hinder some. However, this is hardly a problem as I'll only ever be going back there again when I add a new component at a later date. Also, being a universal bracket, you'd expect something like this. Though I think the price is kind of high just for some brackets, they made a good product and supplied every piece of hardware I could need and more.4 Stars. A solid product that makes me want for nothing more.
However it did make the soundbar sit right underneath the TV nice and flush
August 25, 2015
These soundbar brackets barely made it on my Vizio p502ui-b1e 50 inch TV and attached the Vizio SB4051-C0 40 inch Soundbar. However it did make the soundbar sit right underneath the TV nice and flush. The brackets them selves are rated to hold up to 30+ pounds max which did a great job at holding the sound bar. However the weight of the soundbar causes the slim brackets to swicg back and forth. While this may not be an issue day to day, tilting the TV from time to time to plug in cables, one has to remember to not use the sound bar as a way to move the TV as the brackets feel like they would just bend. Overall it was a great fit and finish. Pics attached.

Good sound, poor fiber connector
February 8, 2016
The sound is good, the fiber connector lacks a firm locking mechanism! I bought two different cables and I can't securely connect to the speaker with either end of the cables. Both cable ends on both cables connect perfectly into the TV but will not firmly connect into the sound bar! I've spent way too much time and energy trying to get the connectors to work.
It works and it's not bad for the money
January 8, 2016
It works and it's not bad for the money. However, if you're planning on using it to stream music over a bluetooth device, be warned that the one I received sounded like the music was coming in waves. The fading in and out was so obvious and annoying, I had to send it back. My living room is not large so distance from the device was not the issue and the soundbar worked great with the tv so it wasn't installed incorrectly. If you're only plan is to use it to improve the sound quality of your tv, I say go for it. I ended up buying a wireless soundbar from Big Lots that had a subwoofer in it for $49. For my purposes, a much much better value!
Movies and music sounded very good. The drawback was that when watching at night
October 9, 2015
Sound was thunderous as described. Movies and music sounded very good. The drawback was that when watching at night, it was either too loud or too quiet. If you live in a place where you share walls, I would highly discourage these speakers. The buttons on the speaker bar should've been in the middle or on the top for easy access. Instead, they're awkwardly placed in the back corner. :( The buttons wouldn't have been an issue if the LCD on the remote actually worked. I literally had to use a flashlight to see the words on the screen because it was too dark. To the seller's credit, however, they sent a replacement remote within a week. Unfortunately, that remote had the same issue.Once you get it into the bluetooth setting though, it connected very easily to my phone, and everything is all good. It's just a hassle to switch the input.
it worked great until last night
May 20, 2015
I purchased this Feb. this year, it worked great until last night.I have it hooked up to a 39 inch Sharp Aquos via optical cable. Setup was a breeze and sound was way better than my stock TV speakers. In the beginning and I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem, when the soundbar powers on, there is a static pop. I blew it off and didnt think anything about it. Last night I was watching a movie in 5.1 Digital through Plex (Yes I know this is a 2.1 channel soundbar) so I changed the settings on my Roku 3 to compensate the distortion I was getting. The distortion was downright awful. I barely had the volume up to one bar and it still was distorted. After changing the settings, still mega distortion. I tested the soundbar on other movies that I know play fine and also distortion. I have no clue what has happened, maybe someone that has also experienced this can clue me in. I'm not sure if I got a faulty one (I purchased the refurbed version).
Decent soundbar that works well enough for a small apartment
May 1, 2015
I will say that if I had bought this at full price I'd be disappointed. The sound quality is decent, but not great, though it does get very loud. The bass is disappointing. I have a pair of stereo desktop speakers with no external subwoofer (Audyssey Lower East Side Media Speakers) that I'm basing my comparison on. The Vizio sounds muffled in comparison. Both units new were in the same price point. I understand that in this price point and size some concessions will have to be made, I just expected more from the Vizio. The soundbar has a coax subwoofer output. I do not yet own a sub but plan on pairing one with the soundbar in the future. I expect this to markedly improve the sound quality as I find that the bass is the most lacking part of the sound signature of this bar.The remote works well. It does not have to be pointed directly at the unit. It is a good size, maybe a little large for what it does, but it fits well enough in the hand. All of the functions are well laid out. I read through the instruction manual in about 5 minutes and fully understood all of the functions. I have a Vizio tv and the tv's menu made it extremely easy to pair the tv's remote with the soundbar. However it can only change the volume. It will not turn the soundbar on and off and will not adjust any of the other features. The led display on the soundbar itself is attractive and informative considering it is just a row of dots. Each has multiple brightness levels they're all bright enough to be seen across the room in direct, bright sunlight. The display clearly informs you when the different features are turned on and off, when the unit is on, and the volume level. The body of the soundbar itself is attractive and matches the styling of my tv. It came with hardware to wallmount it. I have not done so yet but it looked easy enough for a person with a diy attitude and basic tools.I would skip this bar for the amount of money they want for a new one. At the refurb price (around $90 when I bought it) I think it's a decent value for a decent product.
An interesting experience but it works again.
March 17, 2015
This has been an interesting experience. Installation was easy and the bar had good sound quality. (Good, not great, is lacking in bass, but not a problem for me.) The volume increments were too extreme, one setting too low and the next too loud. Solved that by using the cable remote which had smaller volume increments. Then last week the bar shut itself off and would not turn on again, either with remote or buttons on back. Called Amazon and they gave a return authorization, great customer service! As I was disconnecting the bar, on a whim, I plugged it into a wall outlet - the bar turned on. I reconnected the bar, using the original power strip, and everything worked OK. Must be some kind of reset after the bar is unpowered for a while. If that is right, I would think the instructions should mention that unplugging for a short time (a couple of minutes) might solve the "stopped working" problem that is mentioned in a lot of the negative reviews. So now, everything is working great. Will see what happens from here on. Had to lower my rating.Update! Tonight the remote stopped working. Worked fine this morning?? Unplugged the sound bar for 30 seconds and took the batteries out of the remote. Plugged back in and replaced the batteries - everything worked! I think this unit has some serious engineering problems. Will wait and see what happens next.

Works for me but barely
June 22, 2016
I bought this to attach my VIZIO SB3821-C6 38-Inch 2.1 Channel Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer (2015 Model) soundbar to the top of my VIZIO E32-C1 32-Inch 1080p Smart LED TV (2015 Model) monitor. The bottom line is that it works but barely. Only by attaching the soundbar to the very last hole in the bracket and then monitor's top most mounting hole to the very last hole in the other end of the bracket did I get it to work for me. The result is that the soundbar is now mounted to and rests on the top of the monitor and it feels stable enough but I don't have the best feeling about how this will hold up over time. Knowing what I know now and if I had to do this again I wouldn't have bought this bracket for this particular combination of soundbar and monitor.
Well made, but Universal..not for me.
February 4, 2016
First of all, I want to be clear that the only reason this is a 3 star review, is that it did not fit my application. The product does seem to be made well enough and comes with a variety of hardware (screws/spacers/washers). I'm aware that "Universal" isn't a guarantee it will work, however I hoped this may get to someone and save them the hassle of returning it.I have a Panasonic 58" S1 Series Plasma TV, the VESA mounts on the back are quite low on the set (Top hole, is about at the mid point) , and because of that it did not reach high enough to be used in my case. I planned to top mount, since this unit sits on it's base on a stand. (Not that it matters, but with a Vizio 54" 5.1 Soundbar setup). I am in the process of looking for a larger mount, and/or fabricating one from some aluminum angle bar.
its ok, but.
March 20, 2015
images are deceptive, on a 49 inch tv with 200x200 vesa mount, its impossible to align them with BOTH the top and bottom holes and have the brackets over/under the tv for the speaker, you can only use 1 set of bolt holes, additionally the instructions show for a center channel speaker to turn them with the curve "in" if you do this they touch, theres no way around it. if you put them the other way, your tv ends up looking like a demon with a cyborg eye ball.my major issue is they only have 2 black screws and nuts for the "key hole" mounted speakers, the problem? there to fat! there about two MM's to wide on the threaded shaft of the bolts for the key holes on my speakers (Onkyo HT-S3500) there are a few other bolts and one set fits, but, no nuts! they need to shave those key hole bolts a bit more or include nuts for the smaller bolts.and, the instructions is just a sheet with a few pictures, its up to you to figure it out. word to the wise? read the manual for your tv to figure out what size bolt to use. it would be a nightmare if you use the wrong size and it cracked your screen, the long bolts that came in the pack would have done that to my tv at least, i checked the manual for mine and found the right size in the pack using a ruler, there metric bolts so when they say "M6x14" they literally mean the threaded part is 6MM's diameter and 14MM's long, makes it easy to figure out which bolt is which.
With a little ingenuity, can result in a perfect installation
December 17, 2014
So the idea here is relatively simply, add a flat bracket to the back of the TV, just under the wall mounting screws/bolts.Installation was actually relatively straight-forward, except for one aspect. The design does not take into account trying to make the front of your sound bar flush with the front of the TV when installation is complete. Monkeying around with this took me a little over an hour to solve. Standard installation without this goal would probably be 15 minutes or so.My suggestion to the manufacturer is to provide a screw and a rubber tipped nut that can be placed in the lower part of the bracket, just at the bottom of the TV. It can fit in the existing slots, and would allow you to provide a small amount of pressure to the solid part of the back of the TV near the bottom edge to push the bracket backwards, allowing for the front bar to be flush with the TV. The screw would allow you to tweak the setback to be just perfect. This is what I mocked up in a cruder way, but the result was perfect.
Brackets were unfortunately *not* mirror images of each other -- there is a "handedness" to them.
November 20, 2014
I needed universal brackets to hold a center speaker (Energy Take 5) atop my 55" LCD TV. These looked like a good fit because the shape seemed to allow more options for a closer fit (since I wasn't mounting a wide soundbar), and they were offered at a lower price compared to other options. These brackets worked "ok." The biggest disappointment was that the two brackets are shaped in an odd way: They are both very slightly curved outward, but in the same direction when you lay the brackets on top of each other. So, when you flip one bracket over (so they mirror each other, and the two "ears" point at each other, as you would to mount a speaker), they end up *not laying flush against the TV* in the same way. It's as if I received two "left handed" brackets. This was extremely annoying: What it meant was that one bracket was somewhat further away from my speaker (by more than a quarter of an inch), when the other was laying flush against the speaker. Frustrated, I ended up using the gap between the brackets to actually overlap them and mount my speaker with just one screw that passed through both brackets. (That is, I had the ends of both ears actually on top of each other). If I was trying to mount an actual soundbar, I'd find this "handedness" in the brackets very frustrating and would probably end up with a somewhat wonky, uneven mounting job. Other than that, the overall shape does allow for a lot of options and positioning -- though you could probably use an extra set of hands to hold your speaker while you slide the brackets around to find the right mount points.
They work... with a lot of tinkering
March 7, 2014
These were a lot bigger than I expected. Not a bad thing, they are just pretty big. These eventually worked and did the job, but not without a lot of thinking and tinkering.I couldn't place them as directed due to the power cord placement on my 2014 Samsung LCD. The power cord placement would not let the bracket align with the mount hole on the TV. I had to place both of them upside down and flared inward. While the left one was able to aligned to the mount hole, no matter what how I rotated it, the right one would not align. I end up pinching the bracket in between the TV and the wall mount and then zip tying it in place for added support. It worked and it looks normal, but it took a lot of trial and error. There should be a better configuration and shape pattern for these brackets to be truly universal.

Poor Quality Refurb
January 5, 2016
The refurb I got had deep scratches which were visible up close, most on the plastic and one on the cloth grill. They were practically invisible from my couch however, and I was willing to forgive the cosmetic features. The real trouble started when I picked up the soundbar from the box, and something inside started rattling. Already skeptical, I plugged the speaker in, and it seemed like the left speaker was vibrating intermittently. I then decided to repack the whole thing and send it back to Amazon. That said, the overall sound quality seemed excellent, and exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to buy a new Vizio soundbar to replace this one.
A learning experience
September 25, 2015
I bought two of the VIZIO S3821W-COB 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bars in February 2015. Both were refurbished and guaranteed "good as new" by Amazon. These sound bars replaced bulky home theater setups with seven speakers each, and I was pleased by both the visual elegance and the sound quality of these units. The bluetooth capability was very nice, too, allowing me to play music directly from my phone. Unfortunately, one of the units would intermittently stop working and I would have to pull the power plug out and then plug it back it in. Then it would be fine for a week or two. Finally, it just stopped working altogether after six months. I called Vizio support and if it had been a new unit, it would have been under warranty for a full year. But because it was a refurbished unit, it was only guaranteed for ninety days. The Vizio support person told me that because it would cost probably close to $100 to have it sent away and fixed, it would be better to buy a new unit (I had only paid $129 for it initially). So I learned two things: (1) Amazon refurbished is not "good as new". I don't think they always fix the problem the unit was having. They just make sure it's intermittent. (2) Vizio sound bars are "disposable items" (in the words of the Vizio support team) and mine is headed for the landfill.
No sound after 1 day.
September 22, 2015
It sounded great for 1 day. Setup was fairly quick and easy. However, you must read the manual to know what all the coded light displays mean. That can be a little annoying. But it was great for the price and satisfied the basic function of providing richer sound than the speakers that come with a TV. However, after 1 day the sound simply stopped. I tried everything from trying to run the sound to it by analog, blue tooth, and rebooting it to factory settings. Nothing worked. The website wasn't much help, but I called customer service and they were great - friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I had already done everything they suggested. Luckily, Amazon makes returns easy and quick!

May 13, 2015
Well ill just start by saying if you paid $230 dollars for this product, you were ripped off. I had gotten mine for $120 so i feel a little less ripped off but regardless, time for the review. To start off i bought these as a replacement for old kenwood soundsystem that my father had given when he had gotten a new one. It was good for a long time but given its age i felt it was time for a replacement so i looked into the new age technology of soundbars and being a bass fanatic the subwoofer was only a bonus. Now the sub is smaller than it is portrayed in the pictures and it is not all that loud. With that being said the sound bar does not work with the tv speakers or other kenwood speakers i have due to a very annoying echoing effect due to a delay in the signal. Renders the device almost useless if you have a tv where the internal speakers cannot be tuned off....like mine...yay me. But as a wireless speaker to connect to ny phone it works great but sadly thats about all i could use it for and in compariosn to my old 19xx era kenwood speakers, they sound better than the soundbar. Very disapointed in how this so called new age sound is and i would prefer to buy older setups than anything like this ever again.
Be careful of Seller (Refurbished)
November 9, 2014
This is for the S3821W-COB Refurbished sound bar. First let me say be careful who you buy this from. I purchased from AceElectronix and they are not authorized to sell this item by VIZIO. I Know this because my sound bar died in less than two weeks. If you buy this from someone VIZIO doesn't give their blessing then you have no warranty. Then you are left in my situation trying to deal with an unresponsive seller... Buy from VIZIO. That being said, for the time I had this sound bar it was great. Drastically improved my TV experience. It isn't as good as these old Phillips 2.1 speakers I have on another TV but this looks better and has fewer wires to worry about. If I could do it all over again I would buy the brand new model directly from VIZIO with the warranty. You really won't be disappointed.Pro: Great improvement on the crappy speakers that come with TVsCon: Sound bar turns off after about 5 min of idle time and sub woofer won't turn off unless you go flip the switch on the back. It sounds petty but trust me, it's annoying.
Bought it on Sunday, received it on Friday, repackaged it for return on Saturday
August 9, 2014
Couple of things right off the bat: First, I wanted to note that, after being a longtime Amazon customer, I'm sorry to say that this is the first return I've ever had to deal with because of a defective product. Second, I also want to specify that this review is in regard to a refurbished 29" model. In the spirit of trying to be more environmentally conscious (as well as being a person who can't say no to a killer deal), I bought this sound bar as a refurbished item from Ace Electronix for $64.99. I tend to be very cautious with purchases, requiring an average 4+ star review on Amazon, and even then perusing the content of those reviews. I was feeling confident that I was making a good choice with this Vizio budget sound bar but, boy, was I wrong. When I first hooked up the speaker (piece of cake!), I streamed music off of my Galaxy S III and it sounded beautiful - I live in a small efficiency apartment and just wanted a modest sound bar that could offer richer sounds than the PC desktop speakers I had plugged into the 3.5mm jack on my LG tv.A little later in the day, I hooked my netbook to my TV via HDMI to stream a movie - at this point, I noticed the sound started to cut in and out frequently. Not that the volume would cut out all together, but it was like someone was dropping the volume from 60 to 10 all of a sudden, and it would do this repeatedly. I messed with all of the cable connections and figured (hoped) that maybe my little netbook was the culprit. So I dismissed it as a fluke.By Friday evening, I was streaming a movie from Netflix via my blu-ray player - no problems detected. Now, as I sit on my couch Saturday afternoon writing this review, I attempted to stream a movie from Vudu a couple of hours ago, and the speaker's defects finally showed their butts. This time around, the volume started to cut in and out once again, and this was now in addition to a consistent buzzing that was being issued from the speaker at a higher (*not* maximum) treble setting.Thank goodness it's only been one day, and I've managed to retain all of the packaging that came with the product. I plan to ship it back to Ace Electronix ASAP.While a one-star review was tempting, I'll grant the sound bar an extra star because of its attractive design and for being smaller than the average sound bar, which I actually prefer because my LG tv is only 26". And while some people may dismiss these defects because my purchase was refurbished, I'd take another walk through the negative reviews if I were you, because others had similar issues that weren't necessarily refurbished. This was my first attempt at a Vizio product. I'll never say never on another one, but I don't see it as being anytime soon.

Didn't fit 55"+Vizio soundbar setup, have to visit hardware store
October 6, 2017
While it includes extensive hardware, it's not really universal in my case. For my setup, a TCL 55" and a Vizio soundbar, the brackets are several inches too short. Whether mounted below or above the TV, the soundbar can barely peek around it, even when mounted using the furthest holes on each end. Not sure if it's Vizio's fault for having wide mount points or if these brackets just don't work for TVs that are 55" and up.I'll have to hit the hardware store to try and make it work.

January 29, 2017
Does not work with Sharp Aquos 46" TV - an older model has a small ridge on the back bottom, so this product won't lay flat. Decent construction though, with lots of hardware, so I'm giving it 2 stars.
Not universal
January 7, 2017
Far from universal as far as I'm concerned. I had to Mickey Mouse the installation to get it to work with my LG soundbar
Partly Universal..
October 22, 2016
Attempted use with a LG SoundFlow Soundbar, and even with the provided bracket by LG, these bars would only reach one hole on the back of the soundbar. Bars were sturdy and I assume would work on a soundbar with two holes total instead of four. It did hold with two out of the holes secured that I needed but was too wobbly for my liking.
Doesn't mount properly on Panasonic 50"
May 9, 2013
With a presumably any recent Panasonic 50" TV (they all use the same rear panel VESA config), this thing will mount your soundbar a good 8" above the top of the TV, which looks absurd. I was able to fudge the config with some strange diagonals to get the soundbar about 5" above the top, but it's still a lot higher than planned. See in the picture, how the slats along the long end only good about halfway? That's the problem. There needs to be a third opening to be able to bring the mount down further.
Be prepared to rig your own fastener solution!
May 1, 2013
If you have a bigger soundbar with built-in mounting threads on the back, then this bracket is definitely for you. If you have the "teardrop" bracket, Sewell does not include any fasteners to attach to your soundbar. I ended up buying some locknuts and lots of trial and error, but the soundbar is not as secure as I'd like it to be on the bracket. Also, if you have a smaller soundbar (I've got a Sony CT150), you will see the tops of the bracket peeking up from the soundbar. Not ideal.

It's auto shut off feature makes it useless.
July 28, 2017
Yes, sound is fantastic. But it has an UNADVERTIZED, AND IMPOSSIBLE TURN OFF FEATURE that it turns itself off after 15 minutes. My 91 year old father was using this sound bar and he would put the tv on pause, and then no sound, nor could he keep remembering to KEEP turning it on! I had to end up buying another sound bar that DOES NOT HAVE HORRIBLE ANNOYANCE. Can't even use it for Alexa dot for it is off sound more than on. So, this "feature" has made this sound bar useless. Seems to have to CONSTANTLY keep turning back on, there is no way to shut off this standby mode. So, for my use it is a total waste of money. I waited too long to send back, will have to give away or sell at a yard sale to a poor unsupecting victim.
Aweful experience...
January 26, 2017
I paid for a brand new one,my cc was charged for a brand new one, they sent a recertified one. much cheaper. I got on the phone, complained to a supervisor and, they said they will send out a new one. I waited and, I got another recertified item, this one has damage on it. I don't know what's wrong with these people but, everyone better make sure they get exactly what they pay for. I had a much more in depth review but, they won't let me posted it. They keep rejecting it, guess they don't want the real truth out there. If I'm not allowed to post my review, this review...I will be writing out a very detailed review, name names, print out hundreds of copies and put them on every car windshield in every mall, grocery store, high-school, movie theater parking lot and, go on various social media sites to do the same. Again, watch what you get when you buy...
Not Working
October 28, 2016
I purchased this in March of 2016 and has stopped working, I have contacted Vizio, being it has a year warranty.I would not buy any Vizio item based on my personal experience with this company. After going back and forth with emails, there final response is this:Thank you for this. Past the troubleshooting completed, it seems that your device is in need of service, but is outside of our manufacturer's warranty.Unfortunately, VIZIO does not have any authorized repair centers for this product. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. You may be able to find a local repair shop that can assist you. Thanks and have a great day!CollinVIZIOIn other words, sorry loser!
Re-manufactured, only 90 day warranty (vs. full year), and 3-6 months for a replacement part.
February 4, 2016
When I purchased this from Amazon several weeks ago (right after CES) it was not labeled or marked as "re-manufactured" by Amazon. It was sold as BRAND NEW. Now I get this and it is obviously used, beat to hell, and comes with only a 90 day warranty. This is total bait-and-switch. On receiving the unit the sound bar itself failed to emit audio, but the sub-woofer was working just fine and emitting sound (so I know the connection to the audio source was good). Called Vizio about the warranty and they said it would take 3-6 months to get fixed "due to high demand".
I really regret this purchase
October 11, 2015
I regret this purchase.Purchased it here on amazon, refurb, a couple months ago.It turned off constantly, if there was the slightest pause in audio, I researched and learned that this was the eco setting, adjusting that got me "slightly" better performance". The remote has an lcd screen but this only tells what the remote is doing, since the remote is IR it can't give you any readings from the speaker about anything, that is done with a code of lights you have to look up online. A month ago it stopped working, on an off chance I ordered a new power cord from Vizio. That worked but I was surprised by the need. Altogether when it wasn't working I was "ok" with this purchase, but not impressed, it was barely better than using computer speakers with a sub, and I'm hardly a audio geek. All of which is moot. Because it won't turn on anymore. In the middle of a movie it just shut down and that was that. I wasn't playing anything loud (I don't ever, I live in an apartment), or unusual that could have damaged it. It shut down and never turned on again. I ordered another power cord but this time, no dice. It won't turn on.
Broke after four months

We enjoyed the sound bar, but then it stopped working after having it about four months. We've tried everything to get it working again, but to no avail. It's a lot of money to spend on something that gives up after only a few months.

Did not fit my Samsung sound bar.
Not universal
August 27, 2015
Would not fit my Sony sound bar no matter what I tried. I would have had to grind some metal away from the mounting holes on this "universal" bracket to make it work.
Not for me
October 3, 2014
Was difficult to attach to TV and the actual screws to connect it to the sound bar is/was not included.
