| I really liked the different light settingsSeptember 19, 2017 I bought this for my son to be used in his nursery. I really liked the different light settings. I liked putting on the setting that would change color of light to for my little to watch and kinda soothe him to sleep. I also really liked that I could set it on a certain color and use as a night light and still use the diffusing setting without taking up the limited outlet space I had in his room (got to love old houses for that right? ;) ). It generally will diffuse for about 8 hours or so. As far as it getting mold or dirty, just like anything else you have to make sure to clean it. I just followed the cleaning instructions that came with it. they were pretty simple, just put some vinegar and water in the tank and let it set for a few minutes. I would also take a Q-tip and clean the ultrasonic table on the bottom and to clean the cover. I didn't use distilled water but never had any problems so far. Also, side note, if you are diffusing essential oils, PLEASE!!! research to make sure you are using 100% pure oils! Great for the Price!January 24, 2017 This has been a really great diffuser. I really love the ability to change the lights in it too. It's super, super simple to use. Simply twist the top cone till it disalignes the little dots close to the base, remove the cone ( I usually have to start this process with my fingernails and then pull in the rest of the way off), fill to the desired water line, and add the desired essential oils. I'll mix lavender and vanilla or sweet orange and vanilla. Once you've finished adding your oils and replaced the top cone, press the left button for the light. Continue pressing the button until you find the desired color you want. If you don't want to use the light you don't have to because the button to the right controls the actual diffusion. Once the water runs out it will turn off on its own. If you want to stop diffusing the press the right button twice. If you want to stop using the light the hold the button down till it beeps twice.I wish the top (cone) was a little easier to remove, but that's a very minor complaint in comparison to all of its other great features. I highly recommend it.*** If I remember right there were reviews complaining about an obtrusive logo? Unless something has changed, what you see in the above picture is what you get. It's a solid, frosty white. I love this thingNovember 11, 2014 I love this thing. I got this over the other diffusers because of the changing lights.... It lets me know its on and feels like the Holidays with the changing colors and I looooove that. I use pure essential oils by Aura Cacia and it depends how strong the oil is on whether I get a lot of smell or not... I havent gone a day without using it since I got it a few weeks ago. Worth it!!! The instructions are simple, I prefer the always on setting instead of the on and off and on and off, but I think the on and off setting would be great if I was diffusing all day. I am usually just in one place for a couple hours and want to just breathe in the oils the entire time. It makes a quiet dripping noise when it runs, and a very slight whirring sound as the steam escapes, subtle white noise. When you press the buttons, they beep quietly, so in the dark you know you pressed it, but not so loud that is wakes a sleeping baby :-) I like it so much I bought 2 more for other parts of the house. I've been diffusing in a room about 150 sq ft, I put in 3-4 drops of essential oil and that is PLENTY to get a nice scent. If you subscribe to their newsletter you can get a coupon for a discount. They are thorough with following up with your purchase, sending you an email with use and cleaning instructions. I don't know much about aromatheraphy, but it looks pretty cool. It is plastic but has a really nice wood grain and has a really attractive light feature. There are many colors you can choose from (there is even a setting that allows you to change between all the colors). I have recieved so many compliments already from my coworkers so I ordered a second one for home.I also really like the timer feature, allowing the diffuser to turn off in 2 hrs or 4 hrs so I usually time it so that it turns itself off when I leave my office to go home. You can also opt to turn it off manually because the diffuser can last for 24 hours by itself so you don't really have to worry about it staying on all the time. No filters required!June 8, 2017 I love this humidifier/ essential oil diffuser. It is ultrasonic so it is completely filter free. Which means that I don't have to spend any more money buying filters for it. It could also be used as a night light. There are a lot of color to chose from and if you can't decided, there is an option where the colors can change by itself. The humidifier/ essential oil diffuser can be set on 4 different timers. They are 10 sec, 2 hr, 4 hr, and whenever you want to turn it off. The diffuser is not made with 100% wood but it is made with plastic with a wood accent on the outside. Great price, and does the jobJanuary 19, 2016 Love this diffuser so far. I have a different diffuser that is a bigger hold-tank, and this one is set as 400ml ( for those in the US, it's about 13 1/5 fluid oz, so basically a 1 & 1/2 cups of tap water hold tank) but this one still lasts pretty long because it has a lot more options than my bigger diffuser does. Meaning, you can set a timer on it, and also set the mist-spurt to a every-10 -second rate, and this will make your water last a lot longer. It distributes fragrance pretty well-no more or less than other diffusers as far as I can tell. I use this one in the kitchen/living room, and it feels up the room with aroma quite nicely :) The colors are pretty cool, but a bit on the Rave-Dance-Party side for me when it's cycling through it's color scheme (about 10 second pause on each color with a fading-out effect to get to the next color). HOWEVER, you can set it to a color that you like, and it will STAY that color for the time that it's on, and this is another nice feature of this model/brand. The turquoise blue is my fav :) And so is the yellow.SIDE NOTES:1. I wouldn't recommend this to those who are older, or for those who may not be very technology-button-oriented. The button settings took a bit for me to remember, but it does come with an instruction booklet if you forget.2. However, before I could use it, a co-worker of mine was suffering with a nasty cold and I brought it in for her to use with her new oils. She loved it so much she bought it from me!! Now I am getting ready to re-purchase one for myself. The colors are wonderful but it you are not one for light displays the colors can be turned off and the natural wood finish is shown (the wood finish is plastic, but from far away I think it looks very natural). I have diffusers from 3 other companies, including Doterra, and this is by far my favorite one. The power light is fairly bright so if you want the ability to run it without the color light feature, it will still have a glow from the power light. Other than that, it works well and diffuses nicely. The intermittent feature works well, it's quiet enough to not be distracting or noticeable at night, and the wood grain look is pleasant. Also the indicator lights are BRIGHT, that's something you cannot turn off. It wasn't as easy to use as other models, and it gurgles ! If you are sensitive to sounds this may bother you. On the plus side the light show was nice and the colors were vibrant. Has a decent stream of mist but not tons. and it diffuses nicely. I have to say though customer service did email me in a nice way to find out why I was returning it which is something I guess. I did not reorder though. Not happy with the indicator light!May 23, 2016 When the light is off but the power is on, the indicator light is SOOOO bright that it keeps me up at night. All other diffusers I have when the light is off there is nothing. This is as bright as a nightlight. I am very disappointed!! Missing partsJanuary 8, 2016 The diffuser looks pretty good. It is plastic, not wood, but from a distance and of you don't touch it, you can't really tell. I don't know how well it works because they did not send the AC adapter with it, so I can't use it.
