Five Star Reviews: | 71% When you use this blend often... May 24, 2016 This is the size you need to have! We use this blend so so often that we went through the 10ml bottles within a month and went through a 30ml within two months. We tried this size and I was shocked by how big it is! I am still going through the bottle and I love it! The only thing that threw me off was the cap. I was used to the caps of the other bottles so when I started to pour the blend, I wasn't expecting a wide mouth and nearly emptying 1/4 of the bottle. I'd put that as a note somewhere in the description so other people won't make the same mistake I did. I will definitely be buying this size again! Smells odd initially but worked great when applied topically! Now we love the scent too! May 23, 2015 Well, with my first impression I really would love to give this only one star. This smell does not appeal to me at all and almost makes me feel dizzy or something. It seems to be high quality and well packaged. It also comes with a great little suggestion guide for other essential oils as well. I will give this a try tonight to see if it helps, I'm a bit nervous however because I just think it smells gross. It smells like licorice and a little lavender. I love Lavender but this combination is all wrong for me so far. Hopefully it will surprise me.Will Update after I try it.Update!I used this last night as suggested on the back of the bottle. I rubbed it into my feet diluted into olive oil after my shower. WOW. I was asleep within 15 minutes. I was planning on watching some tv, but I began to feel too relaxed and thought ok, I'll just read the suggestion guide they included with this oil. I began to notice I wasn't comprehending and had to re-read a few lines and then, the next thing I remember is my bf was already in bed and the lights were out! I'm going try it again tonight and if I get the same effect I will keep the four stars :) I have been impressed because initially I felt this was going to be useless based on its detering smell. I guess it's not meant for its aroma, but it's physiological affects.Will Update to rule out the factor that I may have just been exhausted. I feel this oil worked.Update:Still great! I've actually grown to appreciate the smell better. It's still not a smell I'd wear or purposely smell for aromatherapy, but it definitely works for me when applied as per instructions. I also dream more while using this.Not sure if I'd repurchase, but I am glad I bought it and I would recommend if you need the sleep help. It works for me.Update: so I've grown to no longer be offended by the scent. It's not something you'd buy as a perfume imo but its ok as far as scents go, just kind of weird.Update 2/13/15This stuff is great! Maybe my initial dislike of the scent were my pregnancy/nursing hormones altering my sense. Helps with sleep and also with anxiety January 12, 2015 Good Night is an even blend of Chamomile, Clary Sage, Copaiba, Lavender, Peru Balsam, Sandalwood, Sweet Marjoram and Ylang YlangThis is a nice smelling blend, I doubt you would dislike it, it is a pleasant scent to fall asleep to and something most people would like. It has helped me with my sleep, I put it in an inhaler but I have also made a rollerball of this at 3% dilution which I apply to my feet in the pressure points, and to my wrists to smell as needed.This blend is not diluted so it is recommended to dilute with a carrier oil. I have provided a chart for your convenience on dilution rates. This is a 100% pure therapeutic essential oil blend. The chamomile in it is Roman Chamomile.Feel free to check out my other reviews as I am getting around to reviewing all my essential oils (which is a lot). You also will likely find the reviews for other products I use with my essential oils such as rollerballs, carrier oils, inhalers, carrying cases, diffiusers, etc. What a lovely and restful sleep you get with this product! May 8, 2014 I have been using this blend by applying it to the bottom of my feet for a couple of weeks now and have been sleeping especially well. However, 2 nights ago I decided to diffuse the blend on my bedside table and WOW!!! I am amazed at how quickly I fall asleep! I have also had VERY vivid dreams the past 2 nights as well which is really interesting. I wake up feeling refreshed and not "drugged" like I did when I was using unisom or nyquil. I am so happy to have found a natural alternative for a sleep aid! I use 3 drops in my diffuser. I have seen reviews saying that the paint peels off, I did NOT find that to be true with the*Frosted Blue roll on bottle" but when I ordered again I accidentally ordered "(Blue) Roll-On Refillable Glass Perfume Bottle Purse or Travel Size" thinking they were the same. They are not.The bottles I am reviewing *Frosted Blue Roll on Bottle" are the ones on the left in my picture. The ones on the right are clear glass painted blue. Be careful when you are ordering. Great for essential oils November 23, 2014 Great for essential oils. I had no trouble getting the rollerball in or out like other customers. Just place the rollerball accessory on the container then put the lid on and press down. To remove use the lid to pop it right out of the container. Unscrew the lid and press sideways. You can reuse the containers. Place them in salt to absorb any old oils. Great Product April 6, 2014 -Before I bought the Roll On Bottles, I read the reviews. I noticed there was a common complaint of not being able to put on the plastic roller-ball top securely/all the way on the bottle. -I decided to not boil the tops to attach them to the bottles like was hinted in the reviews, but decided to experiment in getting them topped myself. I felt boiling the plastic tops before cramming them in the tops of the bottles would be too time consuming. -However, once I filled the bottles, I used a smidge amount of the oils I used to fill the bottles to smear thinly around the outside of the plastic part that would push into the bottle (in a sense, a thin oil barrier between the plastic and the glass). -It worked perfectly! I had to push semi-hard, but the top slipped into the easily enough, while being in there tight enough where it wouldn't slip out or leak. -Because I used so little to coat the bottom part of the cap, there was no leakage in the 3 bottles and the roller ball once primed works perfectly.-I have filled four of the bottles so far. Some of them tipped onto it's side and there has been no leaking, the screw on black caps fit tightly. The roller ball only needed to be primed at first use, and has been able to be applied evenly and thinly. The more you roll over the same spot, the more oils are applied to your skin, so you can apply a very thin layer, or make it a little thicker by rolling it on longer in multiple layers. -I have not tried to take the roller ball plastic top out to reuse the bottle yet. But if I cannot succeed in reusing the bottle, the amount of money I used to buy a pack of six, is definitely worth buying another supply, should I need more. Small enough for my purse, tough enough for my purse. February 23, 2014 Love these little babies. They are easy to fill, do not leak and most of all do not break easily. Would buy again January 12, 2014 I needed these in time for Christmas and they arrived quickly. However one of the pieces was missing and I contacted the seller. They were helpful and gave me the option to either get a refund for that one bottle that was missing a piece, or to have the missing piece mailed. I chose to have the piece mailed and I still received everything in time for Christmas.I haven't had any problems with them so far (no leaking or anything), and I really like that they are darkly colored glass. March 14, 2017 I have PTSD and occasional night terrors/horrible nightmares. I also have horrible allergies and sinus issues. My dog (though a good night watch) can be a bit noisy while licking himself, and my upstairs neighbors are basically a herd of Buffalo running around their apartment all night. I fill this thing with water and lavender oil, and I sleep like I am never going to know rest in my life ever again. The constant white-noise, liquid-drip sound is very soothing and helps drown out excess noise (without filling my senses to my alarm clock). Whatever oil you put in this will also affect the results you get from this. I can even see putting citrus/neroli oils in it so you can feel energized in the morning. Works and looks great! :D January 14, 2017 I bought this because I wanted a diffuser since essential oils are a huge deal these days and do a much better job than schentented candles.It's perfect, easy to use. Doesn't use heat, water comes off cool, it's like a breeze, if the water runs out it willshut down by itself. It's perfect for a night light. No complaints. Four Star Reviews: | 12% I like the smell March 23, 2017 We use this in our diffuser at night and on the bottom of our feet. I like the smell, mild but effective I think. I also add lavender to it as well. I just ran out of Young Living lavender which I loved. Not sure if I like the Sky Organics lavender yet but the Good Night oil is a decent oil. Great EO for restless nights. October 21, 2016 I bought this when I ran out of peace and calm. While the scent is different this EO blend seems to work just as well to help me fall asleep. I use this whenever I have one of those toss and turn kind of nights and I fall asleep shortly after. I think this is a very good quality EO at a fraction of the price, so it's a win win for me. Nice scent but a little sweet January 20, 2016 This is a nice scent but a bit on the sweet side for my taste. I put a few drop in my Aromatherapy mister and I've had to add a little rosemary to balance out the sweetness. But Eden's Garden makes quality essential oils that don't smell like walking into a Pier One store (synthetic-like)...much more natural because they are! Also, they won't clog your mister because of their purity. I highly recommend this line of essential oils all the way around. Just like the oil you're trying to pay less for. January 15, 2016 This stuff is amazing. We usually use another brands Serenity oil but it's so expensive that we wanted to find an alternative. Good Night Synergy Blend definitely smells very similar and does the trick at night as well. We diffuse every night. The only reason that I Gave 4 stars instead of 5 is personal preference. I slightly prefer the smell of the other brand over this one but, for the price difference, I'll continue buying this one instead. Wonderful product works great as a substitute for an MLM that's out of stock January 23, 2015 I am a user of several Edens garden oils particularly when an MLM oil goes out of stock. This one is comparable to YL's peace and call me and is a good substitute when the oil I am used to using is out of stock. Without the oils side-by-side I probably would not know the difference, and my children cannot tell the difference. The MLM oil is much richer smelling and if it thicker allowing it to come out of the dropper more slowly than the Eden's garden oil. I personally would not consider this particular oil to be an excellent replacement for the oil I'm used to it but it's definitely a substitute in a pinch and for the price you can't beat it!This works great on the bottoms of little ones feet and also wonderful dropped on anyone's pillowcase to help ease them into sleep or calm. I use it on my three children every night. It is definitely my second favorite of all the essential oils that we use which include nearly 80 Single oils and blends. Different in a good way? January 23, 2015 This is an interesting oil. I'm new to all of this and this was my first blended oil purchase. It smells nothing like I thought it would. It's super strong and I don't love the scent. Neither does my husband and my dogs literally backed up and made faces, then barked at the bottle. However, I feel like it does work. I've only used it in a diffuser so far. I bought it to assist with my husbands snoring, however it seems like it's making it worse. But it's also making my sleep deeper, which keeps me asleep while he saws logs. | 13% nice, but lids aren't right July 7, 2017 These roller bottles are pretty nice, but the lips don't go on straight. They are always slightly askew. So far I haven't noticed any leaking from it, but I also haven't put them anywhere where they could be jumbled around (such as in a purse or bag). 12 pack of roller bottles? That might be enough (for now!) :) March 24, 2016 This is where it all began. I became interested in essential oils a month or so ago. I didn't realize what a hobby/obsession this would turn into! I "needed" more roller bottles for my essential oil obsession- these fit the bill nicely! These 10 ml glass roller bottles are blue glass and have a plastic roller ball with clear plastic cap, and black lid. I think I prefer the metal ball to the plastic balls (now having compared a few of them in my oil craze). The metal ball seems to roll much easier on skin. This 12 pack is great for making essential oil blends. So far I have made a roll on "perfume," headache blends, cramps/muscle aches, and acne remedies for my teens. Plus I have used some of the other roller bottles as containers for my master blends (must get more bottles!!). I'm glad I got a 12 pack- I still have a few left if friends want me to play "mad scientist" me them also! I've found that the 10 ml size is great for me- holds enough to use on a regular basis, and big enough to make those master blends in. I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering another pack soon, with the way I've been filling up my roller bottles, especially if I make some blends for my friends! I have experienced no leak issues with these roller bottles, and the caps go on tightly. These are a great addition to my new collection! Roller balls are not secure. Keep out of reach of Children February 3, 2016 I liked these and use them for holding my essential oil blends. Unfortunately the roller balls are not secure. One of the roller balls fell out of the bottle with only a week of use. This is a choking hazard for young children so be careful if you buy these and have young children around. I wanted to use these in my purse but they aren't suitable for that. So instead I use them in my medicine cabinet.But please keep them out of reach of children. great June 13, 2015 nice small frosted cobalt bottles. I only needed one for my wen lilac oil that i use on my wrist but, after reading roll on cap issues in reviews, i figured i needed six so not to deal with having to force roll thingie off when bottle got empty.. Turns out, there are NO issues with putting on or taking off roller part at all!! it easly slid into bottle by barely pushing it and i can easily take it back off with simply pushing it up with my thumb nail.. I thought too easily actually so tested it for leaks and there are none at all. happy with purchase, works as should and only reason i gave them four stars is because the black caps look really cheap and scuffed up looking.. Good Roll-On Bottles June 1, 2015 The blue bottle is good protection from sunlight. The roller ball attachment snaps into place easily. Removal of the roller ball is fairly easy as well but you will likely have to wedge something like a fingernail or perhaps a pocketknife. Twisting the roller ball where it meets the bottle may also help. The caps are ok as they tend to leak slightly at times when shaken or if not upright with the cap on. It's nothing significant but better to wipe off the bottle after each use.Functionally speaking the rollerball applicator works quite well for this purpose. Essential oils seem to glide-on easily without being excessive. excellent option! February 18, 2015 These bottles worked GREAT! my only issue was one of the bottles arrived SHATTERED in the box. I needed them immediately and could not wait to replace or send back, so that is the reason for 4 stars. They seemed to be packed well-in a nice box-and only one bottle broke, but it was in a million pieces so i am not sure what happened to it. The bottles work VERY well. They are sturdy, they release just the right amount of oils that i have mixed. The price was good and they are easily reused. No complaints-except the one broken bottle upon arrival. | 18% Great product for the price! September 29, 2017 Works well looks nice. It is made of plastic, but has a nice wood grain look. Has a 2/4/6 hour auto shut off or always on. Also has a color changing led that can be turned off while the unit is still on. Fairly quiet, but you can hear the water movement when used in a quiet setting. Currently used in a 20 ft by 25 ft master bedroom and it will fill the room with fragrance within 15 minutes. Nice diffuser! April 1, 2017 This is a nice diffuser for essential oils! My 1st one bought didn't want to stay on after having it for a a month or so; but contacted the seller and the seller immediately sent me a replacement - so great business & very happy customer :) Everyone is enjoying this diffuser !!! March 5, 2017 We love this thing. The 300ml of water seems to last at least 6 to 7 hours, and the area it services is approx. 800 square feet l. Everyone loves it...going to buy another for the master bedroom as well. I sued to burn incense but this is a lot better. No mess, no lighter needed and it has a timer. The light is very suttle so won't brighten the room but makes a bubbling humming noise. The auto switch is not really auto seems to stay on sometimes; a noise is present even with the an empty reservoir but for me it's working ok. Three Star Reviews: | 8% It smells amazing, but I haven't noticed a sleep change March 18, 2017 I have been using this for a few weeks now in a diffuser that sits right behind my head at night. It smells amazing, but I haven't noticed a sleep change. It doesn't really calm my toddler down enough to sleep or even relax (she falls asleep with me, so she is right in front of the diffuser too). I have tried a few extra drops in to help too, but nothing. I am hoping to get some coconut oil soon and will try mixing it to rub on her feet and try it out for relaxing her. If that doesn't work, then at least we will enjoy the pleasant scent at night! Did not give me a Good Night April 4, 2016 When I bought this oil, I was expecting something very relaxing, something that would make me feel peaceful and sleepy. I've been using essential oils for a long time, and had been making my own blends, but I stopped. This was not what I was expecting. The ylang ylang is very heavy, which is almost nauseating. I know now l was looking for Sleep Ease. People that find ylang ylang pleasurable will like this one, it just wasn't for me. The oil itself is fine. I did ask before ordering if the lavender ... I did ask before ordering if the lavender overpowered the rest of the oils since I don't like it and those with hay fever it will bother them. and I was assured it didn't. Sadly it does and if you like lavender scent you will probably like this. So, it is a wasted purchase for me. I use essential oils in my practice of massage therapy and I wanted this for the diffuser. Can't use it. Not at all like P&C, but not bad. May 16, 2015 This smells just like YL Tranquil. I just started experimenting with it, and had it in my diffuser for the past couple nights - so far, no WOW factor, but it can take a bit of time for it to grow on you. Nothing bad to say about it, tho - it's been ok. Together with other sleeping supplements, I think they complement each other fine. Suggestion ... March 8, 2015 I use all the Edens Garden oils. I suffer from insomnia. The bergamot mixed with lavender was better at helping me sleep than this blend. This smelled too much like hay for my liking. Just OK. February 26, 2015 Firstly, I use two other companies for essential oils. This is not my favorite. blend. I really like the company and their website and customerservice. I just do not love this combination of oils. Experienced essential oil users develop an olfactory sensitivity to different brands. I read the reviews on this product and purchased it to try. I won't reorder. | 11% Great product, but does not match description May 9, 2016 bottles do serve their intended purpose, but description clearly states these are not frosted. When I received the product, they were in fact frosted. This makes it extremely hard to see the product in the bottle causing me to over-fill them easily. That being said, the plastic top comes out easily ( roller ball stays in tact) and the opening is a good size to add oils or product of choice. The plastic piece fits right back in and is in there pretty tight, enough to where I keep one in my purse and it is always on its side, without any issue of leakage. Ok for my essential oils different items received on two separate orders **updated** October 4, 2015 These are great and reasonably priced. I bought for my essential oils. The only downside is since the roller and the cuff are both plastic, you have to watch what oil you put in is. Ones like citrus ones and frankincense are likely to degrade the plastic. My mom had these same ones and had a citrus oil inside and noticed it started leaking. She turned it over and the ball fell right out because the oil had degraded the plastic **update apparently different sellers have different products. The first time I ordered these they were frosted and the lids close tightly, the next time I received non frosted ones and the caps do not close tightly. When tightened as much as possible, you can tilt the cap slightly side to side. Kinda annoyed that you order the same product but don't get the same thing. OK for the price, but not "true blue" glass July 2, 2015 When I ordered these dark-tinted bottles to store essential oils in, I was expecting them to be true cobalt-blue glass. Unfortunately the "cobalt" color is merely paint, which will begin to flake off after repeated exposure to the oils such as lavender, vetiver, and "peace and calming" (most noticeable around the threads). Received Smooth, Not Frosted, Blue Glass, but They Do the Job June 17, 2015 I ordered these specific bottles and I received regular glass bottles, not frosted. They are still blue and appear to be made from blue glass, not just painted blue. Amazon was kind enough to refund me since they are only the fulfiller, not the supplier and can't send a replacement because the suppliers (Supplyland) inventory changes. I've filled one bottle with fractionated coconut oil and an essential oil blend and so far, so good. The roller tips needed a little extra push to make them snap all the way in, but they all fit and the caps fit as well. Although I will say that some of the caps (maybe 2/6) screw on a little funky, not completely flush. They aren't leaky, just feels a bit off. Like when you screw on a lid and miss a band and the cap ends up askew. Because the glass is smooth and the oil is obviously slick once it gets on my hands, it feels like the bottle is leaking. After closer inspection I saw there were no leaks, it's just the combination of the oil on my hands (leftover from rubbing it in to my shoulder) and the smooth glass. It applies smoothly and the ball doesn't get stuck rolling around. Overall these are doing the job I wanted them to do, but they aren't exactly what I ordered so I'm happy that they work, but dissatisfied that the supplier doesn't maintain the correct product in stock. I wouldn't say buyer beware, but just keep this in mind. 50/50 Chance At Good Glass February 24, 2015 I am saddened by having to rate these bottles at a three. The first set I received were great and I love them and use them frequently. The glass was quality with the blue coloring a part of the glass itself. They also made great stocking stuffers. However, the second set I ordered (and I checked and double checked to see if they were the exact same item in my order history, Amazon shows them as such) were came with a painted on blue coating. The reason is this is rated at a three is for two reasons:1. Lack of consistency of ordering the exact same item.2. The second set appeared cheap with a coating that can peel off.You may get lucky and receive the quality kind and it appears this is being sold by another supplier now. Other reviews might have more recent experiences see what the most recent reviews say (I ordered the first set in November, 2014 and the second set in January, 2015). ... roller ball to be too tight that it doesn't easily dispense the product January 24, 2015 I found the roller ball to be too tight that it doesn't easily dispense the product. Mostly because it shuts off way too early......it leaves a good amount of water and essential oils in the tank that should be all used up( when used on continuous mode). Also, it is not very quiet.... the buzzing sound of it's motor can be annoying if we're trying to sleep. Probably would not buy it again. I like it, but I can't keep it on during ... Two Star Reviews: | 4% Smells gross, what a waste. August 9, 2017 This blend smells terrible, how do so many people like it? I dont mean to be crude but it honestly smells like urine.I guess I should have tried to locate this in a store to smell it before committing and using in my diffuser. Its super off putting and basically worthless to me. Could it be defective?! Im surprised to feel so poorly as I know this is considered a top brand for essential oils. I probably will avoid this brand in general now and stick to aura cacia and radha as those have all been really great quality. Not a huge fan March 26, 2017 I'm fairly new to essential oils and I am not so sure about this one. I put it on my pillows and had to follow it with some lavender because there is something in this lens that I don't really like. I can't pick it out, but I will probably figure it out when I buy the single scent that I don't like... Didn't help with sleep November 12, 2016 After trying this every night for a couple weeks, I think it is safe to say that it does not work for myself or my two year old daughter when used in a diffuser. It doesn't smell very pleasant to me, either. Smells very herby/woodsy with a hint of lavender. disapointed August 5, 2016 I used this in two different diffusers in two environments and I did not notice any improvement in my sleeping. I have to be honest and say that I also used some different brand of essential oils and got the same no improvement so I really can't say with certainty that this product does not work but it didn't for me. The bad is that after rubbing it on my feet prior to sleep (just one drop per foot) I became extremely nauseous after about 30 minutes and it lasted for several hours. I put it on my young daughters feet once, and she went right to sleep, not sure if it made her ill. alsoI gave my daughter an epsom salt bath and added 4 drops of Good Night to the water and she also immediately upon gettingout, became extremely nauseated. It, unfortunately doesn't agree with our body chemistry. I am hesitant to try a diffuser, but I will give it a shot. | 8% ball fell out April 4, 2017 I know it has been a long time since I bought these 2015 to be exact. But at least one of the little balls fell out. Not happy about that. Other than that I guess they are okay Not as good as I'd hoped. March 4, 2016 I bought these to mix up my essential oil blends and to dispense onto my skin. I'm not overly thrilled with them. Some of the roller balls won't stay in properly and end up dumping some of my precious oils out. I like the idea of a roll on dispenser and I liked the price of these but I really don't think I would purchase them again. Bottles leak, and tops do not fit correctly January 6, 2016 I bought these to use as a lip balm applicator, since I do not like using chapsticks or the carmex stuff. I wanted to use Coconut Oil for my lips. So, I tried using these bottles, and while they do a great job of applying the oil, they leak. I have pushed the roller top all the way in, and it doesn't "click" a second time, it only "pops" up the slightest bit, which is where the oil leaks from most of the time. The plastic balls also leak oil very slowly, if the bottle is turned on its side. I have tried switching around the tops, seeing if the bottle openings were different, and I only have one bottle left that one top works for. Unfortunately, I already gifted one bottle of oil to a friend at work, so I can't take it back, and I don't know if her bottle leaks or not. I will not be buying these again. Looked damaged right out of the box November 2, 2015 When they arrived the tops were dusty and scratched, the frosted blue sides And scratches. Disappointed they look so poorly constructed and will not be able to use for future sales. Suppose that's why they were less $. The 2 stars is only because I really do like the color of the bottles October 16, 2015 The 2 stars is only because I really do like the color of the bottles. But that is it!First one I used, the top was a struggle to put on. Then the roller did not work when it was 80% full; so I made it half full - no dice. I decided to make it 1/4 filled and the roller sort of worked.Second bottle - filled with plain Jojoba oil. Again, only about 80% full. The top was snug but not a struggle to pop back on. BUT once again, the roller did not work. Emptied it down to 1/4 and the roller still did not work.Tested a theory - I took the roller I have for a different set of bottles (I have clear bottles from a separate purchase) and it fit just fine - actually perfect fit. AND and roller works WITH the blue bottles.I tried 2 more bottles just for kicks or maybe to confirm the rollers for the blue bottles just do not work. Same result as the first and second test.Decision: I like the blue color of the bottle but the fact the rollers that came with it do not work just makes it a decision to throw in the trash or ask for a refund. Disappointing February 16, 2015 So disappointed. I bought these to make essential oil blends for my son and after 2 days of use the blue tinting is coming off! I bought oil to put in it but it doesn't smell as loud as I would have hope for it to smell. I bought 2 of these and the timer button on one of them broke after 2weeks of use Dream to nightmare! Leaked February 23, 2017 Only giving one start for the simple reason of it was leaking all in the package when I received it. The oil is everywhere and the original seal is still intact. Side by side one has clearly more oil than the other. I'm a prime paying customer. Think I will stick to my true living. I bought this product for my son and used it ... March 7, 2016 I bought this product for my son and used it in a diffuser in his bedroom. He was the baby that refused to sleep the whole first year of his life and I had originally used lavender oil from DoTerra and just wanted to try something different. The Lavendar oil worked circles around this blend and helped a lot more. This one however didn't really have an affect on his sleep at all. Didn't Have Same Effect October 9, 2015 Gave it a few weeks, but it didn't work for me. I do like the smell of it though and delivery was prompt. | 10% Roller ball doesn't move freely January 26, 2016 I recently started using essential oils and I bought these roller bottles to apply the oils. I tested the first roller ball without anything in it because I was nervous about what quality of roller ball I was getting. It seemed to move freely so I thought that adding oil to it wouldn't be a problem, since I assumed that would just make it more slick. I added straight essential oil without a carrier oil and the roller ball doesn't really move. I get more on my fingers trying to manually move the ball than I get on my skin. I then tried adding some carrier oil to a roller ball just to see if that made a difference and it didn't. I'm not sure how adding an oil to these makes it LESS likely to roll freely, but that's what I experienced. I now have 4 extra roller balls that are just going to end up going to Goodwill. Buyer beware - and learn from other reviewers' bad experiences December 10, 2015 You know, I was fully aware of the negative comments about these bottles, but the price was great and I was willing to take a chance that I'd end up with a good batch. Wrong bet. Out of 5 bottles, one was incorrectly molded in the glass that makes up the threads of the neck (so the lid would not even begin to screw on), and 3 others lost the roller ball *out* of the top while I was dispensing, causing oil to spill all over and losing at least one ball permanently in the process. What a waste!! Not so much even of the cheap bottles, but I spilled quite a bit of an expensive oil blend in the mishaps. Aside from the fact that I reeked of a potent oil all day. So, no I do not recommend this brand. I strongly suggest you heed the warnings given by others and avoid these very spotty quality roller bottles. Spend the extra money to get something worthwhile. It isn't worth it! No Returns ... for a reason! August 30, 2015 No Return/No Refund That is the mark of a company with no confidence in its product. And for good reason in this case. Based on the good reviews that seemed to solve the bad reviewers' problems, I bought the items. I followed the correct procedures for filling them based on the good reviewers' advice. The roller ball allowed far too much oil to pass through leading to generous amounts of oil rather than sufficient amounts to be poured onto target areas. Sacred Frankincense. Not, I grant you, the most expensive oil out there, but for a woman on a limited budget, it'll do. I put my trust in these bottles, and the roller ball popped out after 1 week's gentle (for fear of overabundant) use. Something like $20 worth of oil was lost .... although my living room smelled piney and, oh, vaguely soapy, for a while. So I looked into returning the bottles right away. No refunds, no replacements, no returns. The mark of a company that has no confidence in its product. Now if THAT were evident on the product page, I think we know how much product this shoddy company would move. "Frosted Blue" Paint on Clear Bottles, not blue glass April 22, 2015 First bad review of a product I've written. I always carefully sterilize bottles before using. These were painted! The bottles were in the scalding water for only a moment when I noticed flakes of something floating in the water. Paint was peeling off the bottle, revealing clear glass. I'm stunned. Product description should say "Frosted Paint on Clear Bottles". Perhaps it was just this batch, because I have not seen any complaint for defective bottles in all the reviews. I contacted Amazon, and they credited a refund immediately. Don't waste your money! Broke after several uses October 15, 2017 I would have given this a far higher rating, but after using the diffuser only three or four times, a small plastic tab snapped off of the lid of the diffuser rendering it useless. I tried gluing the tab into place to no avail. Only worked for 3 1/2 months June 9, 2017 I bought this diffuser in February (2/22 to be exact) and it stopped working last week (around June 5th). It would not turn on, the power button would blink and then shut off. Up until now the product worked fine, however, not worth the money if it's only going to last 3 1/2 months it broke. April 11, 2017 the plastic dooframmer inside the well that deflects the water broke off, so now water and oil spew out of the top like a mini fountain. This unit is nice looking, fairly quiet, but I thought it would last longer than 3 weeks. I'm very disappointed. Not happy March 28, 2017 I was so excited to order this diffuser, however I am not happy now. I got this in today and it has been running for 2 hours and it has condensation all over it and underneath it.
