BEST VALUE ON AMAZON.COM!
January 8, 2017
This was the first product that I purchased from Greenworks. I had such a good experience with the leaf blower that I also purchased the lawn mower and grass trimmer. Now that I have three 80V batteries, using any of the products is a breeze. But I especially wanted to mention that I find more uses for the leaf blower than I ever imagined. Last week a storm dumped a 3-inch coating of fluffy snow and instead of pushing the snow away with a shovel and risking straining my back I used the leaf blower and cleaned the back deck (10'x20') and steps, patio (8'x8'), the generator, the first 20' at the top of the driveway, and the front porch (6'x70') and steps in under 15 minutes! Then yesterday we had a 6-inch snow storm and I retraced my efforts and cleared everything in 45 minutes... and my back is in great shape!
VERY Powerful!
December 11, 2016
WOW!!!! I got tired of dragging a cord around my yard, going around trees, shrubs, cars . . . I wanted a cordless because I love the convenience of my cordless trimmer. I've tried other cordless leaf blowers that friends have and also had a Pullen (?) that died shortly after buying it. I wasn't impressed enough to trade for my corded. Because of the 80V/125mph AND another reviewer's high marks, I thought I'd try the GreenWorks Pro. I was also moving to MI where we have a LOT of oak trees!!! This was SOOOO powerful in our .3 acre Indiana yard that has very mature trees including a black walnut!! On highest speed it would even blow the walnuts away. The battery time was decent on high power, enough to blow the grass clippings and a LOT of the leaves. THEN I get up to MI where I found a tremendous amount of fallen oak leaves on the one acre yard. If you've ever seen them, they are huge and very heavy. It was wet outside, but this blower had NO problem moving those wet leaves! I mean A LOT of leaves in a BIG pile. I could use high power to move them in a general area, then use the lower power (there are three levels) to move them close together in a compact pile. When the battery died, which it did pretty much without warning, it charged very quickly (I wish I kept track of time so I could include it). If you don't use it after a certain amount of time, It shuts off and you have to turn it back on--a battery saver. Otherwise, it stays on at at the same power you were just using. I found myself cleaning everything with it . . . the leaves/sand in my car and garage. The driveway was a snap. Where there was water in the garage, so I used it to move the water and let it dry completely. If you are willing to pay the price, this blower is worth it! The ONLY drawback (and more for myself because I have a REALLY bad back) is the weight. That is because of the battery. I'm sure there isn't any way around that with as much power as it has. The other cordless tools I have are much lighter with enough power for me, but not the case with the leaf blowers. Awesome product AND shipping. Nothing to assemble either. Its always best to fully charge before first use, but I couldn't wait to test it and once I started, I used it till the battery died. haha!
Easily Replaced my Gas Blower and is very high performacne and quality, Excellent Overall!
October 19, 2016
I wanted to replace my hard to start and extremely noisy and smelly gas blower but until recently I don't think the Battery blowers were up to the job. This unit hit all the checkboxes in my search for a new battery blower.Requirements:Battery Operated with High Power: X (Plenty of Power - 125MPH and over 500CFM of air movement)Long enough run time to clear my garage, driveway, sidewalks, back patio and then clean the grass clippings off the mower before I put it away: X Easily gets 15 - 20 min on full power and that's more than enough to do my intended tasks. I don't need full power for all of those jobs all of the time so the run time has never been a problem for me. Usually when I am done I have at least 1 bar of charge left. I have never run out of battery when using this tool.Easy to use and maintain: X, press the power button, select your speed and pull the triggerNo smell and not loud: X I can use this tool and not smell like an oil refinery when I am done with it and my ears aren't ringing when I am done. This blower has exceeded my expectations and I enjoy using it. The build quality is great and it gives the feel of a high quality tool.Since purchasing this I have added the Mower, Trimmer and Snowblower to my tool collection all of which replaced a gas counterpart. I don't miss anything about the gas tools since getting these Greenworks 80V tools. Excellent Blower!
Doesn't Suck.......But it's not supposed to.
July 7, 2016
I have already own a gas backpack leaf blower for fall cleanup, but it is a real pain to use on a daily basis due to its weight and to the fact that it needs gas to run.I have a pool and patio area which needs to be blown clean of leaves and seeds that fall off trees, also just cleaning my driveway or even my workshop (where a gas blower woul be impracticable) and also blowing off my lawn equipment after I finish mowing. All these applications are that much more convenient with the Greenworks cordless 80v leaf blower. I would always hesitate dragging out my backpack gas blower, and now I don't even hesitate to grab the Greenworks to do any cleanup job that comes along. The blower is well balanced so you don't feel fatigued using it. Some reviewers complain about its weight, but I wouldn't want it any lighter or you wold be fighting the effect of the force of the air coming out of the nozzle. The battery lasts easily a half hour of use and recharges fully in 30 minutes. I also own the Greenworks 80v weed wackier so I have a spare battery to swap out if I need it.This is probably the most used tool in my collection of lawn and garden equipment.
Leaf blower appliance that just works
December 21, 2015
I was a bit nervous about this device when I ordered it, we have all had our experience with rechargeable items of the past that never lived up to their promises. This 80V lithium battery pack is not that type of device, this thing is really great. It was always a chore to drag out my electrical cord, blow leaves...get leaves "tangled" on the cord, have to undo the mess of knots and then move the cord to a new area of the yard and start over. It was "fine" as I accepted that I just wouldn't use my blower very often, just for the biggest of cleanup days (annual leaf pickup). However this device changed it entirely, now I just grab this out of the garage and I blow the leaves off the driveway, sidewalk, steps and porch on a regular basis. I can use it to keep the spiderwebs from building up in our ornate wood work on our porch. I can use it to blow the leaves from under our parked car in the garage. The battery life meets my expectations, I haven't had it run dead on me yet...and I imagine if it did it recharges quickly enough that I wouldn't be that upset. I really prefer my tools to be like an appliance, no one would tolerate having to change the oil or gas up their refrigerator multiple times a year...or any other appliance. Why we all accept dealing with the nasty dirty gas power tools is beyond me, I like the simplicity of plug and go or charge and go. No mess, no making my garage stink like 2-stroke gas/oil, it doesn't deafen me or serve as a source of noise pollution.I got this on an Amazon special, now I just need to find a special deal on the trimmer as that would be the other electric item I use less than I should because of the cord hassle. I can't see myself going with the rechargeable mower, was our yard is small enough that the cord is easy enough for the zig zag pattern of an open space.
I'm really glad I replaced my weaker blower with this stronger one!
November 28, 2015
I really love this blower. Thanks to the variable switch and the 3-setting switch I always have the right strength to do what I need whether it's blowing the leaves out into the yard or through the grass.. The lowest speed is good for when the leaves are dry and I'm blowing them over a hard surface. The highest speed is very useful for blowing wet leaves across grass. I'll usually use the medium/low speed to conserve battery power. Once the leaves are out on the grass I crank up the speed to blow the leaves into the natural area. It used to take me much longer to blow out my yard when I was using a weaker blower but now my comments on how fast I'm able to blow out the yard. It used to take me over 30 minutes to completely blow out the yard but using this blower I'm able to do the entire yard in about 12 minutes instead.

Has made a believer out of me
September 23, 2017
Put off purchasing a cordless blower due to online reviews about lack of power. Eventually found that I wasn't using my old corded model much because it was a pain dragging the thing out and wrestling with the cord. Upon a new search I came across the GreenWorks Pro 80v 500CFM that had good reviews - se decided to give it a try. After using it a few times I cut the cord completely and donated the old one to a local charity.Pros:*Low power works great for moving debris without stirring up too much dust*High power for when you need to move heavy debris or get cobwebs off lawn furniture, etc.Cons:*High power drains battery quickly (but still able to clean my front & back patios on one charge).
Great product
June 9, 2017
My first battery powered years tool. Great blower. Love that the battery is interchangeable with related products, especially the weed whacker.. Plenty of power, more than I expected. Little annoying to "wait" for the wind up, but expected with battery power. About a 3 second delay from the time the trigger is pressed till the air moves. Sounds cool though, like a jet engine winding up. No where near as noisy as gas powered.Light weight and just so convenient. Battery last quite a while, in fact I have never depleted the battery after landscaping an acre of property. Well built and great, easy to use charger. Pop the battery in, turn on, and go.One ding in the star as optional tips would have been better. I feel a flat style tip aids in stubborn damp leaves hurried in grass. The tip on this is a little too large to get a narrow controlled flow of air.Overall great product and will recommend
Charger failed out of box, customer service very good
November 12, 2016
Charger did not work out of box, phone tech support was very good. Called tech support and had a discussion if it was a charger or battery issue. Battery had 50% charge out of box so blower seemed to work in blower. Greenworks shipped me new charger, took about a week. I used battery to zero and new charger seemed to recharge fine, very quickly as well. I like the product power and battery life; multiple speed settings make it easy to blow dirt, leaves, bugs out of my shop and driveway and not get tangled up with cord. I have a black and decker, 18 Volt cordless broom, it's power is similar to the "1" setting on this product. The power on and speed select switch is where I seem to want to ride my thumb normally, I just have to be careful not to accidentally press button.
Better than raking
November 10, 2016
Really nice to get to places I could not before when using a plug-in blower. Makes the work go faster and the three speeds provide more flexibility. With the low speed you can carefully remove the leaves on top of wood chips, leaving the wood chips in place. High speed will even blow out most of the maple seeds in the cracks of the deck floor. In general, balance is good for level blowing but more awkward when working your way down steps (takes one strong hand to tip down more or a two handed effort). The slow to start after pressing trigger is not an issue, but sometimes have to press trigger more than once for battery to kick in. (Hopefully, this will not be continuing problem.)
The low setting works great for this task
October 5, 2016
I bought this blower to blow leaves off of my bark mulch. The low setting works great for this task. I love not having to drag around a cord or keep around a can of gas. It is quiet for this type of device. Balance was pretty good. Just a little bit of a lift, but it was a little heavy. I wish the power button had a lock. Holding the button down all the time gets tiring.
I like this blower
September 30, 2015
I like this blower, everything the manufacture said is true, EXCEPT there is no way you can get 60 or 70 minutes of run time per charge. Maybe if you run it on the lowest setting, but the lowest setting is worthless, very little air flow. On the high setting you'll maybe get 10 to 15 minutes. I wish GreenWorks would of been more accurate or honest with this spec. I'm keeping this blower because it works great and has lots of power and I don't have a large area to blow. Buyer be ware that run time is very short. However charge time is very short also.

July 26, 2017
This leaf blower works well though it is a little heavy and not well balanced. Unfortunately, it stopped working the second time I used it. I called GreenWorks and was told to return it to Amazon. I was not offered a replacement by Amazon but did receive a prompt refund.
GreenWorks Pro blower is not worth the high costs
February 28, 2017
I have several issues: 1. Unless you really slam the battery into the unit, it is prone to fall out. Can't do the battery any good. 2. The trigger mechanism, as others have noted it awkwardD, must be held at all times andisslowto respond. Many others have said thus. It has ever lastTed any where near the 70. Minutes some notes have claimed. Instruction for charging do not include specifics about removing the battery from the blower if used for a short period of time, whether to keep it in the unit or in the charger or on a shel. Value was not worth the price. Saw same unit on Amazon new for half the is after I purchased. I would like acompanyrepresentative to contact me. Can not tell if under max power 125 MPH is achieved .
Nose pitches up
October 6, 2016
The blower has plenty of power, but the 80V battery is too heavy and makes the nose pitch up constantly that you have to fight with, especially at lower speeds. The size is rather bulky too. Wish there were different tube attachments.

July 9, 2015
blower works good but battery charger requires unplugging after 30 minutes. called the company and they told me it would destroy the battery if you accidentally forget and leave it plugged in all the time. design FAIL.

I would like to replace the battery or replace this item
March 22, 2017
I received it yesterday and charge battery with full and used it but the battery stop less than 30 minutes. The specification stated that the battery will last about 70 minutes. I will charge battery with full again today and try it again and if it is still last only 30 minutes, I would like to replace the battery or replace this item.
Powerful blower for a cordless but a dead battery within a month has me concerned...
November 13, 2016
I have been in pursuit of a quality line of cordless equipment to compliment my gas ones. I use the cordless equipment as my quick cleanup crew. I have tried them ALL from the 20v ryobi all the way up to my first 80v which is this blower. I have had it for a month now...I like the power button feature and the power level selection feature. The power at full blast is quite strong for a cordless but it does have that jet engine 5 second lag when you press the button...minor but annoying. The battery is ok...not bad and by far not great...I had very high expectations for the 80v but it didn't seem to last any longer than 40v or 56v models I have had. For its size it is a very manageable weight and well balanced. The reason for the 2 stars...right now...is because the battery malfunctioned after 31 days...yes a day over amazons 30 day return policy. I had to contact the mfr...which I must say was VERY helpful and did not hesitate 1 bit to offer a free replacement Battery. My reason for purchasing EVERYTHING from Amazon is because it is a 1 stop shop I can deal with from my couch at 2am...having to contact mfr and make an exchange bla bla defeats this purpose. I will update this review once I receive the new battery and see if it makes it past 30 days. The fact that the mfr was so quick to replace without question is great but makes me a bit weary to the fact that this isn't their 1st complaint.
DID NOT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS
October 26, 2016
Not what I was expecting for over 250dls piece of equipment,I mean it dies after 20min of continuous use, then I have to charge it again
Battery charge is short lived...
October 18, 2015
This blower has great power and I like the ease of use and the three speed settings. This blower's downfall is the battery only lasts for 15 minutes on the high setting, this is after a 30 minute charge. It is probably fine for homeowners, but it is not practical for commercial use. I am returning this product for a refund.

The battery died within 4 weeks of use. Not sure if I can return it as I passed the return period by a day.The blower on highest speed lasts only for 15-20 minutes.
Disappointed!
February 19, 2017
I bought this in October 2015 to use on my side walk to blow leaves away from my front door. It worked great for a year and then in November of 2016 I went to use it and although the battery is fully charged it won't register any power on the handle and it won't start. It has only been used for this light task so it seems a little extreme that it only lasted a year. I am so disappointed.
Two months and dead

Two months after buying the blower it stopped working. I will call the company in the hopes I can get a replacement. Update to follow...
Battery failed on first use
November 9, 2015
I purchased this GreenWorks 80V blower due to all the great reviews on Amazon. Unfortunately my battery would not charge. I called customer service at GreenWorks (waited on the phone for only 2 minutes), and they told me that either the battery or the charger base is defective. GreenWorks' customer service wanted me to bring it to one of their service center to have the battery and the charger base tested. Good thing that I purchased this blower through Amazon. The blower is going back to Amazon.
replacement suffered same problem... both returned
November 7, 2015
Battery wouldn't charge. Company asked that I return to Amazon for a replacement, so I did... unfortunately, the battery of the replacement also wouldn't charge. I called company back, they offered to send out another battery (which would take a week to arrive). I said "send out a battery and a charger" (to be sure I'll have something working before yet another week goes by), or they'll lose me as a customer. They chose the latter. I wonder if we'll start seeing more reviews like this, evidence of a class issue... pretty sure it wasn't user error, or issue w/ my outlets (I tried several just to be sure). On the plus side, Greenworks support is open on Saturdays, which I really appreciated. Disappointed they wouldn't get me what I needed to get the leaves off my yard this season. Feels like a giant waste of time at this point. Back to the rake I go...
