![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Five Star Reviews: | 69% Five Stars August 28, 2017 This is easily the best blower I've ever had, starts up promptly and kicks butt! Best one I've had and perfect timing August 24, 2017 Best one I've had and perfect timing. My health is not great and this baby will start with about a 12-inch arm pull. Recommended highly! Easy start, plenty of power July 20, 2017 This works great. Good value. Glad I got it. Blows rocks back into the gravel portion of our driveway. Great blower. Tons of power January 21, 2017 Great blower. Tons of power. I love this thing and has taken my abuse for a few years now. Holds up to daily use as I am an arborist and it gets heavily used on a daily basis Gas Powered Air Blower Exceeds Expectation July 24, 2015 Arrived quickly. Very happy with my choice as I researched several other brands like Echo, Husqvarna, and Stihl. I got it assembled in about 3 minutes. Starts very easy on 2.nd pull. Very quit at idle. Dependable. Revs up very nicely,. Air nozzle helps direct and funnel the air flow to where you want it. I wanted a better model than typical at the big box store. So far this has performed above expectation. I would recommend it. | 81% This is not only better than those horrid terrible CARB cans where you have ... October 23, 2017 This is one of those very very rare products that really honestly works well. This is not only better than those horrid terrible CARB cans where you have to push down on the little tap in the spout to pour, it's actually way better than even the standard old jerry cans. I use these for topping up the built in tank on my outboard while on the water. Not a drop spilled. Had one for 2 years and recently bought a second. Really--this works GREAT. Finally, a Great No-Spill Gas Can! October 9, 2017 Finally, a great gas can. This can really works well, the valve shut off tight, no leaks. The valve is easy to use, and dispenses fuel nicely. The can is quality made, and sturdy. I wish I could find a marine fuel tank of this quality. OK, back on topic... There is a locking tab on the cap. while this makes the can super secure, I found it annoying to get the cap off, I simply cut the tab off, and the cap stays on fine. When they say no spill, they are right. This is a really great product. I have tried those really well made metal cans for a lot more money, but as far as working well, and getting fuel in the tank, this is better. Great and handy product October 5, 2017 Solid tank. I like the see through gauge on the end. I thought it was kind of gimmicky but actually, it's pretty neat to have. My cans are stored about head level on the top of a garage cabinet so I like knowing as I pick it up if it is almost empty. Also kind of neat because I can do a quick check from across the garage when I am running errands out by the non-ethanol gas station to see if I need a few gallons to top off either of my two tanks. No sold on the "NO SPILL" part though--mine still overflow. Would buy again March 21, 2017 Awesome product, no spill and secure containerUse to fill lawnmower and weed eaterWorks great, good material A new gas can is safer and prevents spontaneous combustion while pouring in your mower. May 17, 2015 I got this because I saw a news report about how older cans can suddenly catch fire (along with the human) spontaneously when pouring into the lawn mower tank. This one has some of the safety features to prevent that.I also calculated, I only needed the small size can which is 1.25 gallons and should be good for one year of push mowing a small front and back yard (California size - for those who still have grass). The old can is getting recycled. Best no spill spout you ever used. No joke!!! this one works. April 22, 2015 Love this gas can I'm old so I can't lift the 5 gal gas cans anymore. This no spill is just what it says. They finally got the no spill right with this spout. You remove the end stop put the spout in what you are putting gas in then you push the button on the back side to fuel your tank, release the button and it stops put the cap back on. Nothing can get into the spout as it has a cap, no dirt or weeds. Someone was using their brain for a change. | 50% There are no reviews yet | 63% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Four Star Reviews: | 19% Strong blower! April 22, 2016 Had some trouble getting started. However everything Working good. Strong blowing power,, wish tube couple inches longer, had Echo for twelve years so was Leary at first, good price so decided to try. Starting procedure and start button confusing at first, now starts right up. So far so good. Happy with the product, vibrates a bit. October 1, 2015 Ive used this maybe 2 hours total now and its plenty powerful even when the leaves are wet. Only complaint is the vibration, which i can only really compare to the backpack style blowers and electric ones ive used in the past. I could see the vibration getting old if you were to use this for hours at a time. Liked it February 18, 2013 Tanaka is a quiet clean and powerfull machine. Unfortunately it is a 23.9cc engine, not a 25cc as advertised, but that is marginal. Much bettert han my older Craftsman blower December 13, 2012 Starts easily, and blows a lot harder than my previous blower. I used to have to reach in and scoop out material when blowing out my gutters, but this Tanaka blower makes quick work of even the most plugged gutters. I have a Catalpa tree overhanging part of my house, anyone who knows these trees knows how messy they are. No issues for this blower, It would be 4 1.2 stars, my only negative is t he fuel primer button is located in a difficult position to get to and it sometimes is so powerful it sucks leaves, and your clothes against the intake side. Better for a left-hander, | 11% Great Gas Can July 16, 2017 Very good gas can. Dispenses fuel w/o spills since valve can stop fuel flow quickly. Safety mechanism is a little hard on the fingers but system works well. Well worth the money to buy this one instead of conventional gas cans where you must assemble dispensing spout hoping the fragile rubber seal will not fail & leak fuel. These tanks are awesome June 26, 2017 It does everything has ever ties except it doesn't stop pouring when the fuel goes into the nozzle. I may be doing it wrong but I'm very happy with it as compared to the old fuel tanks Will definitely purchase more of these as I need them. Easy to operate. Secure May 18, 2017 Very easy to operate. Very secure. 1 1/4 gallon is small tho. I think I ficus end in 5 Liters instead so I expected a bigger can. Four Stars April 7, 2017 Easy to use, but does not always stop filing when full as the video claims though. Be ready to REALLY squeeze to open June 6, 2016 This is a small gas can and easy to carry for those of us who can't quite manage a bigger, heavier can. My only complaint is that removing the top requires more squeeze-strength than I can easily manage. I guess that is a good child-proofing feature but some of us adults also have smaller, weaker hands. Best thing since California forced the rest of us into these silly no spill spouts March 14, 2014 I've had the good old Gott gas cans with regular spouts for years. However, when the gaskets started to crack and wear out, and I couldn't find replacements, I tried a couple of different gas cans with the "no spill" spout mandated now by law. I spilled more gas with these than I ever did with my old Gott spouts. They were infinitely harder to use too. Then I bought a couple of these just to see if they were any better since they had decent ratings. FINALLY someone built a no leak spout that actually prevents leaks and is relatively easy to use. Since we now must have the no spill spouts, this is the first one that actually works as designed and I'd highly recommend it. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I think the whole no spill thing is a waste of time and effort and causes more spills than prevents them. | 50% There are no reviews yet | 11% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Three Star Reviews: | 5% starts easily and does as advertised September 6, 2017 This product performs perfectly, starts easily and does as advertised, but.... The pull cord starter assembly is a weak point. It worked great for 6 months but one day my lawn guy pulled too hard (???) and the pull string broke right off. Evidently this is a know weakness because the part was backordered from the manufacturer and took 3 months before I received the replacement part, the whole summer without. If this does happen make sure get the right part. There are 2 parts available depending on manufacture date. power is now pretty good. The blower is heavier than I expected September 16, 2015 It took several weeks for the engine to break in;power is now pretty good. The blower is heavier than I expected.I wanted a blower that was mulcher compatible(I just received the vac kit).If you don't need to mulch,I would recommend the Tanaka/Hitachi lightweight handheld;it has the same engine as mine and is 2 lbs lighter.Much lower cost as well. This does appear to be heavy duty and should last a long time.Parts can be bought online. If you're near to a Stihl dealer, have a look at their commercial handheld blower;I had one 5/6 years ago and their product may be a better bet than my Tanaka.Cost is about the same.In hindsight maybe I should have gone back to Stihl. Be careful. ...... July 20, 2015 Unit starts great, light to handle, air flow is powerful. But the recoil housing gets hot. Using this for the first time, my leg came in contact with housing. And yes, it left a nice burn mark.. I wish they would update unit/ a cover to house the metal recoil. Will contact manufacturer. oKAY BUT SUCKS IN MY PANTS. December 6, 2014 iT WORKS GOOD BUT SUCKS IN MY PANTS AND i HAVE TO SWITCH SIDES. tHE OLD ONE DID NOT WORK THAT WA Y AND i HAD IT FOR 5 YEARS BEFORE I WAS BROKEN.. Poor design with intake sucking in your cloths August 17, 2014 Poor design with intake sucking in your cloths. I had trouble getting mine to start but that may just be mine. I switched to no ethanol gasoline and it seems too work better. I also think the longer blow arm makes it feel unbalanced compared to my old Stihl and Husqvarna but I was ready to try something new. It seems well built. | 3% pour spot is nice but seems to have a slight leak January 13, 2016 pour spot is nice but seems to have a slight leak, i smell gas if i store this in vehicle, i feel the o ring gasket is cheap. Meh, it works but slight leakage. Not worth $20 October 9, 2015 I purchased this for a motorcycle trip to the Ozarks. Seeing that some of the Harley's can only get 150 miles per tank (Suzuki VStrom DL650 - 250mi/tank, oh yeaa) and gas stops can be sparse down there I thought "Hey, I'll have some fuel and a siphon in case anyone gets low."Cool, that's what we adventure riders do, we pack more gear than the crew took on Apollo 13. Because you know, what if I need to boil water in a monsoon, or I get lost and need to filter water in a swamp, or have to camp out in a desert overnight? lolSo after running down my checklist, and preparing for every scenario I could possibly imagine in my head, I start reading endless reviews on products to ensure I get it right....Sorry folks, but that's not what happened with this new "no-spill" can.It was strapped right side up, on top of a rear luggage rack, flat with the nozzle facing back. When I get to my hotel the 2nd or 3rd night. I noticed black streaks running down the sides and front. The gas had apparently leaked and created a good enough mess for a ton of road grim to stick to.I had the black part on straight and tight, and it was pretty messy. It holds gas so I'll give it 3 stars, but not worth $20. Very difficult to use April 20, 2015 Does it work as intended, YES. And that is why I gave 3 stars. It is not the manufacturers fault, but it is very difficult to use, to the point where I would not buy anything much larger than the 1-1/4 capacity can. Federal law requires you have to hold down the knob while pouring. It also has twist lock features when opening and closing, can be difficult to manage for anyone with weaker hands.Again, I know it is federal law that requires these security features, but something so simple has now become so difficult to do.I would recommend buying the older used cans if you have the opportunity. Will Spill May 29, 2014 I purchased this can with high expectations. The "No-Spill" feature is completely useless. I have two of these now and fuel flow will not stop once the tank is full like it is demonstrated in the videos that you see. However, this is still a high quality gas can and has a lot of great features. Fuel flow WILL stop once the button is released and that's really all I need. As long as that feature works as advertised, I can manage filling the tank manually, so to speak. Good design, but some oversight in functionality. November 22, 2013 This can works. As others have noted, the child-proof cap is a "pita". To avoid spilling gas, the cap has to be snugged down tight. However, the rachet and the design of the cap is very easy to cross-thread if you are not careful because there is very limited holding area for you to tighten the cap down. no spill 1415 1-1/4 gallon poly gas can August 27, 2013 the can itself is OK. It is the nozzle I do not like. The serrations on the black screw cap are sharp enough to cut you which they did.It takes two hands to undo the cap. Because of this cut, I quickly cut the serrations off the cap, so I can screw the cap on and off easily .Oh, how I long for the old gas cans which were a lot simpler and a lot cheaper. Probably be my last purchase of these "new and improved" gas cans. I will look for the old style at garage and estate sales. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 5% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Two Star Reviews: | 3% Gas primer line came loose after 4 months, and ... September 7, 2016 Gas primer line came loose after 4 months, and unable to fix/repair as defective, and unable to get Amazon or Tanaka to stand behind their product and warranty. I guess it is junk.. Runs strong, but comes up short October 25, 2013 Bought this blower here on Amazon, the design is very poor in that if you carry the blower in your right hand and make any contact with or block the fan intake, the motor overspeeds and the fan and flywheel contact the case and ignition coil creating a useless piece of junk. The good news is that the parts for a do it yourselfer cost about $35.00 total to repair it. It is very annoying that I am repairing this blower for the third time in the 1 year of ownership. When it runs. this thing does KICK BUTT! Not that great June 23, 2012 Well I recieved this last July and have used it maybe a total of 3 hours and the fuel line busted, so I caleed their so called coustmer service and it was like a big deal to find out where to take this for service since it has a 7 year warrenty at least I hope so cause the clown at the repair center didn't know if this was cover I spend a little extra buying what I thought would be a good product and it broke down in less than a year. Now I have to wait about two weeks to get it fixed I guess I should have went to Lowes and brought one there I will never buy this brand again. Great Warrantee (You Will Need It!) June 13, 2012 This was much stronger and dependable than my previous blower (Craftsman), for about a year. After almost a year of ownership I noticed all the gas had leaked out, I discovered the fuel line to be full of holes. I trimmed the gas line and move it up, only to have it tear as well. It appears all the lines will need to be completely replaced they are all falling apart. Aside from that my machine has started idling extremely rough. It feels and sounds like its trying to destroy itself from the inside. To get these items fixed I will need to travel 80 miles round trip to drop it off and 80 miles round trip to pick it up in order to find an authorized service center. In the mean time I will have to buy another blower since I use this one regularly. Next time it will not be a Tanaka and it will be purchased locally. | 2% Terrible, do not buy. June 7, 2016 If you tip this can while there is gas in it, gas will flood out of the main cap. This can is absolute garbage. The only way to get the last 1/4 of fuel out is to tip it up high, but if you do this you will get gas all over the place. Not Impressed with It January 1, 2015 Not impressed with it. Has overflowed on me virtually every time I have used it. I released the pressure first and followed the instructions each time. I would like to find a gas can that really doesn't leak ... December 12, 2013 Its simple, Its difficult to unlock, hard to lock & it spills in my car. I would like to find a gas can that really doesn't leak & handles easy.Too many engineers involved to make it complicated. NOT for those with Arthritis or other hand Impairments! December 7, 2013 Does what it says as far as I can tell but grossly over implies ease of use.It is definitely NOT for those with arthritis, especially in the hands. it is one thing to hold down the "green button" to release pressure but a totally different matter to HOLD it down to dispense the gas.Even those with GOOD hands would find it difficult to release the "lock" on the main nut to be able to fill the container but it is virtually impossible for someone with arthritic hands to do that (unless they use a tool -- like a BIG OPEN wrench). We'll keep it because we don't seem to be able to find anything better according to current laws but we may have to "work around" the limitations just to be able to use it. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() One Star Reviews: | 4% Leaf Vacuum DOES NOT come with a leaf bag! Huh? Also, try returning it! December 20, 2016 NO LEAF BAG PROVIDED. People, listen up! If you spend an extra $90 for the Vacuum Capable Unit, you WILL NOT get a leaf bag! It kind of defeats the purposes, don't you think? Who's idea was this? Also, you CANNOT return this item! What a Disappointment November 23, 2016 I would give this product zero stars if I could. I have had 3 gas blowers through the years, I read all the good reviews about this product so when I needed a new blower I purchased this one. What a mistake! Reviewers said after 3 pulls the motor started. It took about 12 pulls before the motor started the first time I used the blower. It took a lot of effort to pull the cord and I am not a small guy.. A week later I attempted to use the blower again. It would not start! My wife saw me straining to pull the cord and could not believe it would take that much effort. Needless to say, I called Amazon and am getting a refund. When it worked it did have a lot of power, but it was heavier than blowers I have used in the past. Incidentally, Tanaka is the commercial division of Hitachi. My last blower was a Hitachi and I will probably be going back to that. *********** DO NOT BUY - DOESN'T START ****************** October 8, 2016 This is absolutely, positively, without a doubt THE WORST blower I've ever had and I've had a dozen or more over the years! I'd tell you how it worked . . . but it simply will not start. Put it together, used the oil/gas mix, turned it on, primed it, used the choke as instructed. After a half hour and bloody fingers from pulling the %*$&%$%$ cord, it would not start. Not even a burp. So, I figure there will be a number for the company to call. No. None, No way to contact them. The only positive is that Amazon was outstanding in doing what they could to fix it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THIS MODEL IN PARTICULAR. IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!! Rope on new unit broke on 4th start July 5, 2016 I must admit, the first 3 times I used the blower, I was impressed with the blowing power. The fourth time, the recoil rope broke at mid pull, not at extension, so there was an oblivious flaw in the rope or the rope was of poor quality--or both. The rope broke after 30 days, so I couldn't return it. I called Tanaka and they said the rope wasn't under warranty and I would have to take it to a Tanaka service location 1.5 hours away (I live in an MSA). Tanaka was kind enough to give me the telephone number for replacement parts where I ordered the part for $14, which is to be shipped directly from Tanaka for $10. What should have happened? Tanaka could see from my Amazon order that the blower was new and this was an incident of infant mortality. At this point, they should have apologized for my inconvenience shipped the part to me without charge. Stay away from Tanaka lawn tools. Made a bad Choice May 4, 2016 I purchased this blower last March two and a half months ago, before I needed it. Last week I needed it, took it out of the box and fueled it as per instructions. Started up on second pull, I used it several times, started very easy every time, I still have just under one half of original tank of oil gas mix. I tried to start it yesterday, nothing, not even a pop. reviewed starting procedure, realized I was already doing it just as they say in manual. Tried several more times nothing. Checked for spark has good spark. Checked fuel, can see it going through return line, and can smell it tried again nothing. Removed plug and pulled rope several times to help dry it out if flooded. I let it sit for 2 hours tried again nothing. Removed plug again and held on to it and pulled rope to check for spark again,(I don't recommend this method but I needed to know,if it had spark) it did, so I left plug out and pulled rope many times, then left it overnight to make sure it was dried out. The next day I put plug back in and pulled rope it has definite compression. pumped primer two times watched fuel go through return line, tried to start nothing. I am really disappointed with this blower. It ran so good for the first four times I guess about 20 or 30 minutes, now its impossible to get started I'm so mad I want to smash it with a double jack. The reason I bought it to start with was because of the good reviews. What a mistake that was. | 3% Didn’t work like the video October 17, 2017 Didn’t work as advertised. :(. And I was really hoping it would The worst. September 6, 2017 This is the absolute worst gas can I have ever owned & I've owned quite a few. It leaks when you pour the gas into a machine no matter how tight you get the pour spout tightened. Waste of money!!! March 2, 2016 Not worth $20. Maybe $5. Went to fill my tank it overflowed. Nozzle did not shut off. Gas went everywhere. This lid is silly. Why does it have to ... February 12, 2016 This lid is silly. Why does it have to be so complex. My older cans are way simpiler. No spill is a joke. There is no breather on this can. One Star November 18, 2015 I dont find the auto cut off works and it overflows and pours fuel over my lawnmower. Disappointing. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 21% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
