May 2, 2017
I read the reviews before I purchased these pots. My entire kitchen has all cusinart appliances and I fell in love with these pots after watching the video demo of them. The instructions clearly state " not to cook on high" with these pots, so all the bad reviews with pictures of burnt pots I'm sure did not follow instructions. I registered my pots and I am very happy with my purchase.
worth the switch to safer cookware
March 23, 2017
I purchased these in my effort to remove unhealthy cookware in my home. They took some time to get used to cooking in (no high heat for example), but we have all adapted and do not have to worry about nasty Teflon flaking off in our food and getting into our bodies.
Lightweight and see-thru lids!
March 17, 2017
This set replaces our Super heavy Kirkland set which is great, but as we get older the weight becomes a real issue! Add to havint to lift the lid to see what's happening. This set is much lighter and the glass lids are great to be able to see if the food is simmering or not. I can lift the largest post or pan with one hand now instead of two! Beautiful finish when out of the box- the first scratch will be the hardest...
Really great pans, love them!
November 23, 2016
I love these pots, they take a beating and are super easy to clean. We have learned techniques for how to cook a couple more tricky foods in Stainless Steel as this is our first set, but I love them. Sometimes you can see spots after cleaning, the booklet has instructions to clean these types of spots and it worked! They came out like brand new and it was VERY easy. They are heavy and great quality and come with a lifetime guarantee from Cuisinart. I love them and would definitely recommend.
pots great, stove bad
February 2, 2013
Great Starter...I am one person, Re-Starting. I prefer the stock pot to a dutch oven so this set is just right for me. I can't get used to electric stove and I burn a lot. These pots still look good after a year, still cook evenly, no warping or discoloring.
All pots get "Oil Marks" on the bottom after a while, with stainless steel you can just touch up the bottoms with oven cleaner if it bugs you.
Sometimes I use cooking sprays, mostly not. I don't find sticking problems and they clean really easy. I have browned on the stove, then put in the oven with no problem, On stove, the long handles stay cool, the stock pot handles are closer and on the heat longer, so yes, they get quite warm...I am old enough to have learned to use pot holders anyway so...
Good price for these, not so heavy to be cumbersome. I love them. They are still great after a year of me fighting the electric stove so I am looking at the larger companion pieces in this same line.
TIP: If anything sticks to any pan, boil enough water to cover it, shake some good ole' baking soda in, cover and shut off heat. May need an hour, may need overnight, but works every time and it's safe.

Best cook set I own...
July 19, 2017
Finally broke down and purchased a matching cookware set. I previously had all cast iron, but with a glass top stove I had to purchase some new cookware. This is a very well made set. I have everything I need all in one. I just wish the stock pot was a little larger.
A great everyday set
January 6, 2017
I purchased a similar set (with a few more pieces) 9 years ago. All the original pieces are still lovely and fully functional, except for 2 that I damaged by mistake (by leaving them on the stove until all the water had evaporated and burning the bottom). My original set was so nice to cook with that I decided to purchase this set to replace the damaged pieces and add a few more to my collection. I highly recommend this set for its durability and performance. The only minor concern I have about these pots is that the guidelines say that you should never use high heat. I don't remember seeing that on the original set, but maybe I forgot. I routinely use high heat to boil water, etc. For the first few days after I received the second set I tried to avoid using high heat and it drove me insane, even though the brochure says that this set is built for high conductivity. The amount of time it took to bring anything to a boil was ridiculous, so I have started using the high heat setting again and so far I'm not seeing any difference in performance between the old and new sets. That is the only reason why I gave this set 4 stars. I wash all my pots in the dishwasher. Over time the original set became a little less glossy and there are tiny scratches here and there, but the pots have remained very presentable and in great condition after 9 years of daily use for cooking and dishwasher treatment. I occasionally use the pans in the oven, and they perform perfectly as expected.
Took some time but we enjoy them now!
September 24, 2016
They are pretty great! Took a few times before we finally started cooking with them correctly. A few mishaps and a couple youtube videos later, we are getting the hang with cookware that isn't non-stick. Hopefully they last a long time!
Nice, but caution! Sharp edges!
October 22, 2014
These are very nice - just like the pics imply. They are not too thin, the lid fits well, the cooking performance is perfectly suitable, and they're generally very nice. I deducted a start because one of the pots sliced my roommate's finger open when he was washing it! That's not very cool. Had it been my finger, I might deduct two stars! I only give five stars to products that don't cut fingers. except for knives. But these are pots. They shouldn't be sharp.
Not bad, once you realize how to use them...
May 11, 2014
I purchased these a few month's back, and after a few uses, was ready to pitch the set and give them one star..but with most things, if you read the directions, you'll be happy with the results.. The key to cooking with these is using LOW heat because the metal is a heat conductor.. You may need to soak these a little longer than usual cookware, since things tend to stick easier, but with a little pam or non stick coating, and as I said, soaking, everything should be fine. Overall, not a bad investment, and worth the money.

folks with small hands would probably like them better
August 29, 2017
A little thin/light for the price. The handles are slight. folks with small hands would probably like them better. They perform as advertised.
This is a nice set of cookware
April 1, 2017
This is a nice set of cookware, however, when we opened the box there were burn spots on some of the pans. Turns out I had purchased a USED set. I called & Amazon gave me a full refund
UGLY WHITE SPOTS
January 1, 2016
Good basic product, however whitish spots appeared on inner surfaces after the first use. They do not dissolve or scrub out, but seem a permanent flaw in the materials... Does this reflect any toxic issues?
For the price, they are OK.
December 2, 2013
These are nice looking, but not for long. Everything sticks, the pan stains, and then you have to scrub scrub scrub which leaves marks on the bright shiny surface. Nor do they clean in the dishwasher very well. However, at the Amazon price, they are nice enough.
Cooks well but Very Temperamental
March 8, 2013
The pots sure look pretty; and cooking with them is easy enough. But once I started using them (with heat never turned over med.), the cookware showed signs of dark gray/black spots inside each piece and on a few, these spots also appeared on the bottom. Even using the recommended cleaning products diligently, it still did not elevate the discoloring one bit. I should add though, that the outside mirror finish is much easier to keep shiny. Now I've been very careful to follow instructions to the letter with these; but let's face it...these cookware pieces are for everyday use and should withstand such use and not be intended as a fashion statement on our walls or fancy kitchen pot racks. So if you can accept the fact that these pieces will not be ultra perfect and shiny on the inside (and sometimes on the outside) as when you first purchased them, then I can't foresee any major problems since these cookware pieces DO cook your meals quite well.

Eh
April 10, 2017
They look nice and function, but the reviews are accurate. After the first use on all of the pans and pots, they became rainbowed at the bottom even though I had them on low heat. Again, they still look nice on the outside, but if you want high quality stainless steel I would buy a different brand.
Very sticky
December 25, 2016
I ordered this set based on the great reviews on amazon. I dont know if my set is defective or I received some fake cuisinart set but the pans are extremely sticky and im not a beginner cook. The size of the pots are good but the quality sucks. Everything sticks to it even if you use a lot of oil. I would return it in the second but my husband threw the box away. I will have to purchase another set and i will definitely not buy online after this experience.
Good pans, cheap rivets.
November 8, 2016
So, I'm a chef. I bought this product with high hopes. Cuisinart is a great brand, and has been for years. The pots and pans themselves are great. The stainless steel is of very decent quality. However... the rivets that they used to attach the handles onto the cookware are made of cheap crap. The first time I made a soup in the stock pot I had to store the pot in the fridge for a couple of days. Common practice for a chef. Common practice for anyone who cooks on the regular. The rivets were literally pitted and eaten through by the food! They deteriorated in a matter of 3 days. Over time the rest of cookware has mirrored the same behavior. I'm actually afraid to cook out of these pots and pans for fear of getting heavy metals in my food. I don't understand why you would make a good pan, but attach the handles with cheap product that break down from simple food and washing over time. Please explain this Cuisinart.
Don't bother
May 20, 2016
They don't clean up well; the pots themselves are not a single piece, and water gets in at the base and boils out of the seem while cooking... ; the lids aren't substantial and rattle even over a simmer. Really disappointed.
Skillet is disappointing. Rest of the set is middle of the road. Suggest skipping unless on huge sale or have gift cards to burn
July 26, 2014
The pot and sauce pans work well enough for liquids, even used the stock pot as a braising pan. The skillet, however, has too big of a difference in heat distribution between the bottom and sides - I will regularly have items the cook fantastically when in the center of the pan but if they touch a side they begin to burn. The side also tends to smoke a lot due to the higher heat.
The pans transfer to the oven just fine. The lids show no signs of warping and the handles have proven to be very solidly attached. Easy to clean except the skillet which picks up a lot of burnt bits and discoloration on the sides. This set is certainly useable, but I am already looking to replace the skillet with something less troublesome. I would give the pot, saucepans, and lids a 3.5, but the skillet only a 1.5 - it brings down the overall score a lot.

Thin walls, dangerous lip
April 18, 2017
Very disappointed in two ways. The walls of the pots are thin and the lip curls to give an appearance of thickness BUT BEWARE, the lip is sharp, as soon as a nick develops, this will cut your skin. Very disappointed in this product, wish I would have done something different. A person only buys one or two sets in a lifetime, didn't know what to look for until the flaw stands out.
Worst pans ever
January 28, 2017
Do Not Buy, worst pans ever. Within minutes of cooking anything the pan will burn. I had a bunch of way cheaper pans before this and they all work way better. What a waste of money. They look nice but that's about it.
Pitting
October 28, 2015
Have had these for about 10 months and use regularly, handwashing and taking all the precautions I've had about stainless steel. All pieces have begun to pit. I'm not happy and see that others who have posted reviews have had same experienced. Suspect there's a quality issue here.
WARNING! PANS/POTS EXPLODE IF HEATED TOO MUCH!
January 12, 2015
Do not even try to pre-heat these pans. They are dangerous. If you accidentally leave it on the burner for a mere 2-3 minutes on too high of a setting they become explosive.. even if it's not the highest heat setting. I personally have just a normal conventional/electric coil stove top that it was used on when it happened to me. I contacted Cuisinart and all they did was send me another pan, saying that I would have to claim the damage from the exploding aluminum under my house insurance.

This stuff is no joke, I barely picked up the hot pan and liquid aluminum shot out of the bottom where it's supposed to be sealed. I got pretty nasty burns on my feet from it shooting across the floor, and it lit my kitchen cabinets on fire. It all happened so fast... from cooking pasta one minute to shooting molten lava. Thank god it didn't go into my eyes when it shot out.

See attached photos for a few visuals of the defect.
Disappointed.
October 15, 2014
So far this has been my most disappointing purchase on Amazon. I bought this expecting real high quality but I was badly disappointed. Firstly, this pot set scratch easily. It cannot be used with metal spoons. If this was the only disappointment I probably might have given the product three stars but sad to say it was the first of many. The pots give out a highly metallic scent and taste and I am extremely fearful of using them.. I boiled them several times to get rid of the scent and taste but to no avail. Someone had recommended putting some lime in the water while it boils so I have tried that and I hope it works cause it is an awful lot of money to waste. The frying pans don't seem to give out the taste or smell, but they stick and the covers are just as smelly. I also noticed that some of the pots react to salt... I put some in one of the pots and it left a black mark at the bottom. They also seem to rust easily...left a pan overnight in my drainer and the next day it started to rust. Fortunately, I was able to get rid of the rust. I have also noticed that the pots now have a multicolored/rainbow-like mark at the bottom. I really regret buying these pots. Disappointed in the quality was hoping to replace my old pots with them but feel safer with my old pots. If only I was in the US I would have returned them.
