Installed onto a 2016 Sierra. 15 minutes to install, great fit, seal, and price. Truck drove through down pours of rain the same night and stayed completely dry.

Ordered the TruXedo 272001 for my 2016 Chevy Silverado LS 4 DR Double Cab with the Standard 6.5ft box. It took a total of about 15 minutes to install. I found that it was very easy as most others have stated. It looks great installed, I will post some pictures at a later date as it is cold and snowy here in the North East. You should have two people to install this but it can be done with one if you are careful. The 2nd person is great to hold the side rails of the cover while you are inserting them into the front beam. All in all nice cover at a great price!

Second one(new truck). Will buy again if I need one. Looks great, works great, and wears great. Installed in 15 minutes, first one took 25 minutes(had to read instructions gak). 2015 silverado 1500 double cab.

Received the cover in four days but I didn't get home that night until after dark. The next morning I decided to try putting it on while the kids were waiting for the bus. Everything was clear in the box and the instructions were concise. It took me about 40 minutes to install (would have taken less, but I am a perfectionist and the alignment had to be perfect). The cover works great and looks really good. I don't have a weather test yet, but the box included extra weather sealing that I used against the bulkhead.

Awesome product. I watched a youtube video of a guy putting one of these on just to make sure I was clear on the installation, but it was super easy. The only problem was I installed to close to the cab the first time and had a gap at the back. I just took it through a car wash to test the waterproofness, and my truck bed was completely dry afterwards. I am very happy with the quality. I payed extra to order direct from amazon for the prime shipping, and the shipping ended up having some issues, which was Amazon's fault not the company. I am very glad I purchased this item. Fits perfectly on my 2014 Silverado Double Cab.

I recently purchased a new pick up and I needed a new tonneau cover for it. I did some on line research looking for the best system and an in law told me about Truxedo. He told me his was 4 years old and the cover had started to fray around the edges. He told me how he contacted Truxedo company and they warrantied a whole new top! I immeadiatly ordered up a Truxedo for my truck through Amazon and it showed up in 4 days. After carefully reading the directions I installed the cover on my truck. It took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to do it taking my time. I am thoroughly satisfied with the product so far! I am now living in Arizona so time will tell how well it holds up but I especially like the fact the top latches down and with the spring loaded latches the top is easy to latch and unlatch. The top is always taught too. I say do your research but you will not find a better product!

2017 Silverado perfect fit.Super heavy, it not going anywhere.Careful putting it in your bed unless your truck is black.My truck is white and it made black scuff marks on the white paint while I was moving it around and laying it in the bed.Fairly easy to wipe the scuff marks off though.

This mat fits great in my 2011 Extended Cab Chevrolet Silverado. My truck bed is 6 1/2 feet long. The mat looks like it is good quality and heavy duty. I put it over the bedliner to keep stuff from sliding around, and it works great. Lays completely flat with no seams that other reviewers have complained about.

Great value and heavy duty product!! The shipping was really quick. This is a heavy duty liner that won't budge! I tried pulling on it once installed and the truck moved before it did! I have a 2016 Sierra crew cab with I guess a short bed. The liner is for a 6.5' bed and ours is about 6.0'. There is a trim line but I actually liked how the extra rolls up on the back and just adds extra protection and left it.

Perfect for my 2014 Silverado, great fit except I had to trim to a pre molded line (about 6 inches) toward the cab. This mat is heavy duty and seems well built. I would recommended for people who don't fill the bed of their truck and only need protection on the flat surface.

Just put the bed mat in my 2009 GMC Sierra. The truck is a fleetside bed and measures 78 inches, from the front of the bed liner to the back of the bed. My truck is the extra cab. If you don't have a bed liner, the mat will lay perfectly flat ! Even with the liner, it fits great ! Heavy duty and keeps things from sliding all over the place ! Buy the correct size and you will have no regrets !!

Works fine. The Velcro isn't the strongest. Unvelcros in high wind and speed.

I had this brand of tonneau cover on my last truck and liked it enough to buy one for my new truck. P/N 272001 is for a 2014+ GM full sized truck with a 6.5ft bed (unsure if it will work on other years). Installation is very simple, there are two side rails that sit on top of the bed rails and the header-type rail that installs near the cab and the whole thing is held down with six aluminum clamps. My last cover was over six years old when I sold the truck and still looked brand new.

The fit is good, but the tonneau rails are completely straight and don't follow the complex contours of the sheetmetal as well as I'd like (reason for the 4-stars). The tonneau cover also just barely catches the inside edge of the tailgate. I've seen other covers that fit within the bed for a nearly flush installation, which I think looks nicer, but those usually take up a bit of space inside the bed. This cover still allows you to get your fingers into the stake pocket (it's tight) to use the step feature on the bumper of the 2014+ trucks. I didn't time the installation but I think it took me about 30 minutes to install by myself at a leisurely pace.

I can't comment yet on the weather tightness of this particular cover, but my last cover kept everything reasonably dry. At a car wash, a little bit of water would get in at the front of the bed and the sprayer would make about the last 6 inches of the bed wet near the tailgate. Based on the fit of the new cover, I expect it to perform similarly.

The best feature of this cover is the ability to roll up quickly and easily. There are two locking tabs near the tailgate which releases the rail and allows it roll up out of the way. The end rail by the tailgate and cross-braces all roll-up as one assembly. I've never had a problem rolling and unrolling my last cover in freezing conditions. The locking tabs never froze up and the velcro that holds the sides never gave me problems during the winter either. I've had many different styles of soft tonneau covers over the years - the fixed snaps, sliding snaps, interlocking cover/rail, removable/adjustable cross rails and this one is the best style for my needs.

seams to be a quality cover only problem was on putting it on the truck had trouble getting it centered on the truck box until I found that the cover was not centered in the back locking bracket had to get it pulled through the channel so it was even on both sides mounted better after that adjustment .

Perfect fit for my wife's 2015 Chevy Silverado Double Cab Blackout Edition. It's a perfect fit except for the rear seal being about 1/4" shorter than the Truxedo that I had installed on my Ford F150. I can only guess that it is due to the rail caps that are on this edition. The rear seal does close, it's just a bit shorter than the other cover that I have. I'm hoping over time that the seal will close correctly rather than trying to fold back under itself. Also on my Ford F150 the rails sit inside the rail caps, not on top of them as this model does. So that could be the difference. I've added some pics of the rear so that you can make your own decision on that matter. Other than that, this TruXedo TruXport cover is a perfect fit. Everything you need is in the package. You will also want a little alcohol (rubbing not drinking) for the application of the front seal that keeps the water out, a razor blade or scissors to cut that seal to length, and a 1/2" socket to tighten the clamps. Quality has always been a big focus from Truxedo and it shows with this product too.

Fit perfectly

The mat works fine. It seems to be about an 1" short of covering the full bed length, but it is winter time, so it might stretch in warmer weather.

Throw it in the bed and done! For $80 it's a no brainer. I usually Rhino line (or some other bed liner company) my beds but this truck is more for running around stuff so I didn't think I really needed to spend a grand on protecting the bed. Plus it's almost impossible to slide anything on bed liner material. This just rolls up out of the way or just yank it out and leave it home. It's thick, it works and unless you're landscaping or something, it'll probably do the job.

I order this for my 2014 silverado that didnt come with sprayed on bed liner. I order this one because of the description said the measurements and it would fit perfect on my small bed which is 5'8" which would leave a few inches of play, not a big deal. Turns out it this mat measures 6'6' so yea i didnt want to return as i needed it regardless to protect the truck. around the sides is not super snug fit but it works, also it has a line i guess is where you can cut it down to 5'6" but i left it like it is. Overall the quality is good and it helps protect for a low price.

This is a decent mat at a reasonable price. It is thick and heavy and fit perfect in my 2012 Silverado. One drawback is that it appears to not be one complete piece and does have a seamed in section which may or may not be perfectly fine over time.

The cover looks nice and seems to fit well until it rains. Impossible to get the cover tight enough to prevent puddles of rain on the cover causing sagging

One corner was ripped, I noticed after install. Customer support sent a new replacement fabric. It required that i slide the header and gate pieces onto the fabric. Once all that was done, took a good 45 minutes, it was too tight and wouldn't close...I ended up returning the entire product out of frustration. ordered another brand. If the corner wasn't ripped I would have kept this cover as I felt it was of high quality and looked nice.

Easy to install, but super tight to close. Warranty is voided if the latches are adjusted, so I'm hoping it loosens up over time

Mat did not lay flat in truck bed

Eh... the matt certainly seems thick enough but its a bit small all the way around. Since it was cut specifically for sierra/silverado 1500 with regular bed I expected a better fit, it's like an inch short on all sides. The ironic thing is I bought the Dee Zee tailgate liner and it was huge, way too big.

Good quality but has "Chevy" stamped in the mat. I have a GMC and searched GMC when I ordered. This may not bother some but I gave this to a friend and bought another one from the GMC dealer.

Mat is really nice. Material is exactly right. What I wanted and needed with bed mat for new 2013 Silverado 2500HD truck - Protect the floor of the bed from scratches and wear and tear of normal items placed there such as garbage, lumber, outdoor supplies etc. Also it is non-slip so items placed remain there. I also liked the padding it provides making it easy on knees when crawling around. Mat DOES NOT move, float, fluff, flap or hint at coming out of bed at highway speeds. The mat lays flat and doesn't budge. This info needs to be noted with product to ease mind of potential purchasers. I had this concern and no info was available. I especially like how they designed the bottom surface. Knobs are large enough to support while allowing airflow between bed and mat to prevent rusting, condensation, mold or staining if it gets wet from rain/snow or washing.ISSUES:1) - Mat is 1-1/4" short at rear of bed. Need option to buy mat sized for beds with/without tailgate protectors, this should fix this issue; If not then someone needs to seriously learn how to read a tape measure or adjust machinery program.2) - Not sure why but mat puckers 3 places or lines across bed sideways. Not sure if this was from manufacture, packing or what but I figured it would flatten out with time. A month of use and sun has made no change.I rated this a 3 of 5 because of these issues. It's a QA thing and after seeing so many posts mentioning the short length and its still not corrected does not make sense.

I bought this so I can set my cabover camper on it. When I was installing it I notices that the mat is not made in one piece but by bonding several pieces together. The four foot section in the middle is one piece and the sides are bonded to it. Probably so they can have less molds for different trucks. The bonding was already starting to separate and I'm sure if I flexed it several times at the seam it would have come apart. Rather than deal with a return to get possibly the same, I installed it as is and it will probably be OK but I wouldn't rate it as a "high quality" unit. OK for the price though especially considering the free shipping....it's really heavy

This my third truxedo and am not impressed with fit. The rails didn't fit into the slots that hook to the front brace. Had to modify to make work. Also I don't like the release latches They are kinda sharp the other truxedo covers I had came with one release and worked a lot better. Wished I'd have bought a Lund or extang cover. Won't buy another truxedo

Update on my review. Easy to install but the Velcro sucks!! Once you unroll it then roll it back close, the Velcro won’t stick on its own you have to go along both sides and push them down. I had another brand on my last truck and that Velcro did not need to do this. If you don’t push it down it will flop in the wind like crazy. I’d stay away from this brand just because of this.

IT'S DEFINITELY HEAVY DUTY, AND MY STUFF DOESN'T SHIFT AROUND. ALTHOUGH THEY COULD HAVE DONEA BETTER JOB AROUND THE WHEEL WELLS AND A FRAMED PART AT THE TAIL END.

I ordered this for am 2014 Ram pick-up. It is about 4 inches too long and doesn't fit well around the fenders.

I ordered this specifically for my son-in-law's short bed Chevy. It says "short bed Chevy" on the pad, but it is long enough for a standard bed.

I ordered bed mat for my pickup. The product arrived on schedule. However, the size was different from I specified. This mistake should not happen.

Based on the manufacturer's information I thought I was getting a heavy duty truck mat but nothing could be further from reality. The mat is so thin and soft and pliable that it may provide some cushioning for the bed but that is all.My last truck bed mat was made by Rubber Maid and it is three times the weight and four times as stiff. The Dee Zee is not made to last or even stay in place in the bed.

The width does NOT fit a 2014 GMC Sierra. TruXedo TruXport tonneau covers do not cover the width of any bed as I was told by the manufacturer. Nothing in the description on Amazon does it state that fact.

Well, this came to me and the box was damaged pretty badly. When I opened it up the cover looked undamaged so I brought it over to my truck and spread it out. It was then I noticed there was no mounting hardware of any kind nor was there any instructions. Returning it.

Well very disappointed. As you can see from the pics this it what was inside another roughly packed box. Then I notice the cut in the strap, and the part that that strap should velcro to is torn out and stuck on the strap. This means one side to hold it when it's rolled up. I'm still gonna install it because I need it for an upcoming trip. I don't know if the one I received was a previous return or what, but it should have never been shipped in this condition. My wife had one of these on her truck and it was great. Soooo, Truxedo or Amazon, whose to blame? Not sure but I expect better from both.

EDIT: Then I found this as I am installing (5th pic) can't even finish putting it on now...

Package arrived without all the parts. The packaging says there should be clamps -- but there are none. We purchased this because we are leaving on a trip -- and now we can't use a $300 product. WTF?
