I am a 00. These are perfect for my job as a Park Attendant as I could not find pants to fit through our company. I love the green color. The fit is comfortable and the pants are sturdy.
GREAT CASUAL CARGOS
November 25, 2015
Just pay attention to the Asian/vs/US style variation, and you'll absolutely love these cargos! I wear a size 7 (in juniors, not womens, big difference!), and purchased a Small (US). They fit perfect, kinda sit low on hips, so I get the 'baggy' look, but a 'cool' 'baggy' look, not a 'baggy' 'baggy' look (LOL!) I'm being serious, if that's your thing (I'm a bit tomboyish), you'll love these! I got a light blue, and put it with light blue hiking boots, light grey thermal, and white puffy hooded vest, got alot of compliments, and really enjoy wearing these!
September 5, 2015
For reference, I'm a typical size XS or 2 in women's, size 5/7 in juniors. Waist is 26.5", natural waist 33", hips 38". I bought the M/28 in the 2058, which is supposed to be the thicker fabric according to the reviews. I am very very happy with the fit, although I feel that these run a little small in the waist compared to most size 28s that I've worn.Pros: very sturdy cargo fabric. I'm active and work some manual labor jobs, which means that I destroy clothes in about two seconds. After two months of regular wear I haven't even managed to tear a pocket. The fabric is thick enough that you can't pick a wedgie, but has enough stretch for you to move comfortably. The side snap pockets are great, very secure. Love wearing these to rock-climb and hike.Cons: The fly button fell off almost immediately, so I sewed it back on and moved it over a tad for a slightly looser fit. MUCH better fit as a result.Overall: these will last me at least a year, which is impressive considering how active my jobs can be. Fitted cargo pants are difficult to find. I'm glad I ordered these!
Exactly what I was looking for! (almost)
November 20, 2014
I have looked everywhere for women's cargo pants (that fit) with no success, until now! These pants are great! The material is good, not that parachute stuff. It has lots of pockets, which was really important to me. The only real complaint I have about them is that the upper pockets on the sides of the legs are 2 long skinny pockets (vs. one larger square-ish pocket) making them less useful as there is not much that would fit in them. All the other pockets on the pants are a good size though.I am 5'4" 115lbs and ordered a Medium since the instructions said to get 1-2 sizes larger than I usually wear. I typically wear a Womens 00 or Juniors 0. They fit just a tiny bit looser than I would have liked and sag down and hang on my hips if I do not use a belt. They are also just a little longer than I need, but that isn't a big deal. I tried washing them in hot water but they did not shrink at all. I am tempted to order another pair in the small to see if that fit is better but I would still keep the medium because they are perfectly wearable and very comfortable.P.S.- As a petite female who has a hard time finding pants that are small enough in the waist for me, I feel as though discovering pants from China come in smaller sizes is life changing!
LOVE the cut of these!
November 11, 2014
SO I am more than pleased with these Match Cargos. These are my 2nd pair & I will be ordering more. I normally wear all high end jeans, Citizens, 7 for Mankind, ect, & I am honestly shocked how much I am in love with these. I am 5'0" & 105 so the petite/boyish cut & fit of these are just perfect for my small frame. I am always a 25 in any other brand of jeans & I got these in a 27 & they couldn't look any better. I did order the other Match Cargos & they run baggier than these. They are also super thin summer material & this pair is THICK, more winter, rugged, last for yrs material. These are def a small, petite, not a lot of curves "boyish" body flattering jean. I will be ordering another pair ASAP!
Awesome pants....runs HUGE
August 15, 2014
Okay, so I am petite about 5'1 and 105 lbs and I bought the size 8. Way too big. No problem, I have a friend who I gave them to. So then, I bought a size 6 and they fit well (with a belt). There is plenty of wiggle room (if one like that). I am afraid to get the size 4, because I want to be able bend and stretch without having to break a seam. I bought these for hiking, so love the numerous pockets (for camera filters, chap stick, lotions, and so forth). I also want to add, that the material on some of the pants are different. I bought the Army green (by the way, the material is so thick, if I were to fall off a rock or cliff, I would not have any cuts or abrasions) thick material. Then I bought the brown pair. This material is much thinner than the Army green ones. If I were to fall with those, I would surely get cuts and bruises. I also bought the Khaki's, but like the Army green pants, these too, are made from a very thick material. Overall, I loved them. If you are petite like myself, but like form fitting, I would go for the size 4. If wiggle room is what you are looking for (but not enough wiggle room to make a rap video), then the size 6 is the way to go. Hope that helps anybody interested in these pants.
Super comfortable, excellent pants!
May 26, 2017
These are seriously fantastic lightweight pants! At 5'9, 150 lbs I usually wear either a large 6 or small 8 in pants, and the size 8 here fit me perfectly even though I have an athletic (read muscular thighs) build. The legs were almost too small, but they're not skintight and the flex in the fabric makes them super-easy to move in. Added bonuses: they make my tush look fantastic, don't gap in the waist, and are the ideal length. I snagged them for $36 and they are well worth the money.
Prana absolutely makes the best women's pants
February 11, 2017
I already had these pants in khaki so I knew what size to get. Prana absolutely makes the best women's pants. I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs, fairly athletic build with pretty large circumference thighs, and the size 4 pants (in any style from Prana) fit me perfectly. This design from Prana is not quite as tight as the Kara jeans I think, so if you're into the skin tight look, maybe order a size down. What I love about these pants in particular are that they're stretchy (I move a lot as a physical therapist), they're light weight and they're flattering. They also have a drawcord hidden inside at the waist so I don't even have to wear a belt with them. Prana does it again!
Love the style - Size down from your usual
January 24, 2017
Tried these on at REI and got them for $25 cheaper on Amazon a week later (I do notice they're back up to $79 now on Amazon...I got them at $55). Fit the same as at REI. They run large for certain. I'm a 33" waist and 42" hip and size 10 is just right at the waist (no lumps, do need tie inside to keep them in place so they don't fall down at all), looser in hips and definitely a loose fit in the thigh (and I have large thighs). Tried lots of pants on at REI and these were the cutest and best cut for certain. At 5'9" (167 lbs), the regular inseam fits my usual 33" inseam perfectly for hiking (cuff doesn't hit the ground but not at all too short). These days sizing is so hard to figure out, as they don't even match company's size charts. I recommend sizing down. I almost went for a size 8 at REI! According to Prana's size chart I should wear at least a size 14! You'll have to like a bulkier look when you roll up the pant legs, FYI.
Best pants ever, ever, ever love love love
September 2, 2016
These are my most favorite pants I have ever owned. Wore them in Spokane in 105 degree weather, worked great, wore them on a glacier in 35 degree weather, also worked great. This purchase from amazon is my second pair, my first ive had over a year, in which I have skidded on my butt down hills, glissaded thousands of feet, crawled around in the mud and the dirt, they always come clean and show almost no wear. If I had to choose one pair of pants to wear for the rest of my life, it would be these.
Beware of your supplier!
March 22, 2016
Be careful when purchasing from Amazon. I ordered two pairs of this pant in a size 0 and 2 because I have super skinny legs and a normal waist. Both fit well in their own ways because of the bistretch material and the fact that they're not meant to be a fashion piece. The roll-up feature was nice when I needed to rinse my feet in the creek and didn't want to get wet (wishful thinking). These pants resist rain and dry very quickly in the sun if you soak them. They are lightweight and comfortable enough to go unnoticed in most climates. There is plenty of room for the addition of thermal leggings for insulation in frigid temperatures. I even rolled them up and hiked a few miles up a canyon in bone dry 90° SoCal heat.I ran into trouble when I tried to put my iPhone 6 in the leg zip pocket. On the size 2, the pocket was perfectly sized for my phone. On the size 0, the same pocket was stitched much smaller (perhaps for the iPhone 5/5s/5c). I also noticed upon arrival that the size 2 had a different color paper retail tag than the 0, and the 0 did not include a replacement button sewn with the bundle of care tags inside! Perhaps the size 2 came from the newest production of this pant and I got a leftover size 0. Even though this absence of functionality in one pair is a disappointment, I will keep them, but I will probably buy my future pairs from brick-and-mortar stores with more consistent product standards.Update: REI has the newest version of this pant and the leg zip pocket is sized up to fit the new iPhone 6/6s (not the 6 Plus).tl;dr -- These are awesome hiking pants. Buy them.
as to sizing
May 30, 2015
I didn't know what size to get, so I tried on this pant at REI, in both the Coal (navy blue) & khaki colors, in both size 8 and 10.In the blue, both sizes fit, the 8 snug and stretching over my curves, the 10 NOT too big: I couldn't decide, kept trying both on, came to decision I preferred the 10.The khaki color fit in 10 but was too snug and underwear-line-showing in size 8.As I was trying the 10 on, a button came off, definitely these need to be hand sewn on with stronger thread.(I am 5'6", 150lb, much of that weight in my legs, 36A.) I typically wear "Large" or size 10 bottoms; I wear size 8 in Columbia Perfect Fit hiking pants. So: I ordered size 10 in the Prana Halle pant, in green, and I love it! I will order the other colors in size 10 too. My butt looks really great in these! And I like its thicker material, though the Outdoor Research hiking pant material is lighter cooler for summer. I wore them today biking to yoga class, very comfy to bike in.Though just got them, Prana Halle is my favorite of all these 3 hiking pants -- comparing Outdoor Research or Columbia just right.1-yr update: I have now purchased this Halle pant in 4 colors (but not khaki), it is my favorite pant ever, I no longer wear any other kind. It is perfect for hiking, bike commuting, and looks like a nice slack, can even be dressed up with a nice top for going out. I am sorry I bought those other hiking pants!
Four Star Reviews:
Nice normal cargo pants for women
December 8, 2015
The sizes listed on this post is pretty true to US size. I am 5'4" (29" inseam) and 100 lbs. I usually wear 00 or 0 or 25/00 in jeans in US sizes and the S/27/00 fits as expected. They fit at the waist, but there is wiggle room throughout the pants. It's neither tight nor baggy. The length is probably best for someone who is 5'5" or 5'6" (these are 31" inseam). There are drawstring for the legs so if you want cinch the leg length you can. Otherwise, just get them hemmed. The two sets of magazine pockets on the thighs have a narrow opening (2") wide, making it somewhat difficult to retrieve things in the pocket. It's a shame because if the manufacturer didn't sew the opening down, the pocket past the opening is actually expandable. While these legs are straight, because there is a little extra room for the thighs and cargo pockets, they look a tiny bit like they are tapered. The circumference of the bottom of the pant leg is 15". They washed well in cold water and drying in low heat did not shrink anything. The material on the 2058 and 2032 are medium weight, so good for cooler weather. Also, pay attention to the codes: 2058, 2059 and 2032. Each model # represents a different material weight and pocket designs and placement. So, look at the pictures closely for subtle differences in design.
The material though is nice and thick in the #2032
September 16, 2015
I bought three different sizes of these pants as the reviews were VERY confusing. Some consider it fits tight and others to loose. I'm 5'2 and weigh about 120Lb. the XL( US size 6) were really too big which was surprising as I usually do wear size 4 to 6. The material though is nice and thick in the #2032. The L size (US size 4) fits well with some spare room at the waist. The inside cord proves a great feature! The pants are a bit long, but knowing I'm a bit short, nothing new under the sun. There is also a cord at the bottom of each leg which allow you to make a secure fit that won't budge. Finally the M size (US size 2) was a perfect fit. The waist is secure, no need of a belt nor the inside cord. It does not feel tight either and it will definitely be my "go to" pants this fall. I purchase the Camo #2036 and you should note that the thickness of the material is less than the #2032.
Overall I'll keep the three size as I really like the pants anyway. I'll just wear a belt with the XL one and get along with it. Hope this helps:)
Good pants, size seems right
September 7, 2015
I was totally confused on the fit of these pants based on other peoples reviews. I'm normally US size 2 for reference, american eagle jeans size 2, height 5'5, weight 115-120lb. I went up a size to a 4 for these. They seemed to fit, but were a bit loose. If I was to reorder I think I would try going with the size 2. Just because these pants are already pretty thick and heavy material. If you also get them loose on top of that, then they just become too bulky in my opinion. Overall, if you're looking for a heavy duty camping/active cargo pants, these are a good choice for you, they look like a solid pant! I had to return just because I'm looking for lighter cargo pant that could be worn everyday. The search continues!
The other reviews regarding fit were helpful - belt not included
July 18, 2014
I am happy with my purchase. I bought the orange and mud color and the pants received were similar to the color on the site; though belts were not included in my package. Fit wise, I'm 5'4", 120lbs and normally wear a 4 or 5 in jeans; I bought the XL and they fit well, roomy in the waist, good thing there is a drawstring waist band. I'm, ahem, "bottom heavy" and they fit well there, without extra room though. The pants have a 31.5" inseam, with drawstrings on the bottom for adjustable fit; too long for me, I will cut and hem them. 100% cotton.
Great Work/Outdoor Pants
July 9, 2014
I needed pants to do some outdoor work in and wanted something with pockets.
I don't know if they updated the description since some of the poor reviews but they're pretty accurate as of this review. Make sure to measure yourself and match the measurements to the ones in the description because they do tend to run small. I'm a US6 and got the XL; fits GREAT. I wanted them to be loose fitting but still flattering (because that's what girls do :P) and these were perfect. They're a nice heavy, durable cotton that will probably last through several washes. In the other reviews I read stuff about it being really long in the crotch but I don't experience that at all; they're normal rise and hit just below the belly button for me (I'm 5'2").
One thing I didn't expect though was that the cargo pockets by the knees are actually two narrow pockets next to eachother, not one large pocket..which I would have found more useful, but that's okay. Also..the picture shows the pants with a belt, which mine did not come with. Luckily I find the belt hideous and wouldn't have worn it anyway haha.
These were "Fulfilled by Amazon" so I received them in 2 days. Easiest purchase ever.
Nice cute and style, just a little too small
June 3, 2017
I like the weight of these (heavier than I was expecting), and the cut was really nice, but the waist band was a little too snug (I usually wear size 4, so I ordered the 4). I like the pockets and the color. Only returning because they were a little too small and too heavy for a hot, humid climate.
Fit is a bit big, but I still can't wait to take them hiking!
September 19, 2016
These are a decent pair of pants! I ordered them in dark ginger, which is a nice color that is slightly more yellow/orange than khaki. The pockets are fairly generous, the material seems durable, and they're easy to move around in. The length is great, which means they might be a bit short for taller ladies (I'm 5'6" and mostly torso), but perfect for me. The only downside is that they seem to run a bit large - I wear a size 2 in most pants and ordered a size 2, but the waist is significantly loose. Since the leg portion fits really well, I'm just going to keep them and wear a belt (there's a drawstring, but it's on the inside and causes awkward gapping of the waist if tightened enough to fit).
well made but not for me
June 17, 2016
I'm 5'4", 125 lbs, 28.5" waist, the size 4 was a bit large in general and several inches too long. Pants are well made. Material is thick and seems good for colder hikes. I'm looking for something lighter since I tend to heat up easily. The cut is also a bit restrictive and seems a bit disproportional, though it's definitely possible that I'm what's disproportional. Because of the length, slight restriction of movement, and heaviness of fabric I'm returning these.
Fashionable Travel Pants!
April 13, 2016
I purchased these pants for our trip to Ireland and they resisted the rain quite well. I also travel all over Europe, so I wanted a pant that that didn't look too touristy (no cargo pockets or zip off leggings) and could easily be used in place of dress pants to save space in my carry on bag for those budget airlines. They look feminine, not baggy and the backside looks nice too. The color I purchased was coal (dark gray) and it is the perfect color for blending in with the neutral color palette in Europe as well as pair with any color top. The bottom legs roll up into a capri which looks much nicer than having the zip off legging. I'm 5'7" 120 lbs. with slender build and normally wear a size 2, the size 2 PrAna pant fit perfectly with plenty of room to be active in. There is a draw string inside of the waist as well to adjust as needed. My only issue with these pants is that the front buttons will eventually all fall off, so my suggestion is to reinforce sew them on yourself as soon as you get them. These pants are a great investment and I fully intend to buy more!
Active pants the look great! FINALLY!!!
July 10, 2015
Finally, great looking outdoor pants for women! My husband lives in Prana Zion shorts which are made of the same fabric used in these Halle pants. He washes them every other day, dries them on hot, and they look like the day he bought them! I agree with him. The fabric is amazingly comfortable and looks great. I'm 5'7", 120 lbs and short waisted/long legs. The size 4 fits great. The 2 could work but I prefer a less snug fit. I gave four stars for two reasons: 1) Like others have said, the buttons fell off before the first wash on one pair and are close to coming off on the other pair. 2) When I roll the pant legs up they're wider than I would prefer. Also, the snap provided to use when you roll up the pants? Way too high and awkward for me. Both issues are minor. I'd get another pair if they had a fun rust or red color. They don't wrinkle, super comfy, dry in a flash, wash beautifully, and look great on!
Great versatile pants with some quirks
October 28, 2014
These are some of the most comfortable and flattering pants I have owned. They have nicely shaped pockets with flaps and buttons in the back that *ahem* give you a nice round-looking rump, but in a good way (and I already have a rather round one to begin with). The length is perfect for me (5'7"), and they are not too high nor low-rise. There is a somewhat odd drawstring inside the waistband, which I am considering cutting off. In order to use it, you have to pull up the pants, pull the strings (it is not one continuous string that loops around the whole waist, it is two strings that go to about the side seams and you supposedly bunch up the fabric to "draw" them) and tie them, the stuff the ends down into the crotch before you can button the two buttons, then make sure the strings are not stuffed so far down the crotch that they are poking out the fly before you zip it.If you're the type of person who doesn't wash your pants after every wear, be prepared for some stretching. I would say they stretch a good half size larger once worn. When I initially tried them on I was afraid they would be too small, but after about half a day they were perfect. Perhaps the generous stretch is why they thought to install the strange drawstring.I wore these pants about 3 times before the top button fell off, so minus one star for that and the drawstring, but I plan on sewing it back on and ordering another pair in black, since they are so comfortable and good-looking.
Three Star Reviews:
Too many pockets.
October 7, 2016
I am 5'3" and 108 lbs. and I usually wear size 2 or 0. Since these were in Asian size, I ordered size "M". They fit pretty well - just a tad too long and too wide for me - with one exception. There are too many pockets where you want to look slim. Between the thigh and knee areas there are a total of 6 pockets and the stiff canvas material make these pockets stick out. I removed 4 of them and I sew the other 2 shut. Now they look okay but not perfect. If you don't have sewing skills, you may find these pants costing too much to alter and not worth the price you pay.
I bought both sizes with the intent to return one but I just read a review that the shipping cost for returning these is pretty
December 7, 2015
Just bought these so will see how they hold up. I'm 5'4 and about 108pounds. The size 00 fits but is definitely a little snug. The size 0 fits with some more wiggle room. I bought both sizes with the intent to return one but I just read a review that the shipping cost for returning these is pretty high so I may just keep both. Will update after I've worn them more. There are several pockets and the material for the black pants is quite thick.
crazy size chart
December 11, 2014
I didn't want to believe the size chart. I'm about a 6 depending on the brand and I bought a 2XL. SUPER baggy but can still wear them with a belt. decent work pants though. I like them.
Careful on sizing and if this is slim fit...
October 15, 2014
I generally wear a size 2 US and so, according to the reviews and to the manufacturer description I ordered size 4 US (L). They're huge. I can't imagine this being a slim fit for anyone as they're so baggy, I felt like I was wearing HammerPants (you know what I'm talking about). I didn't want skinny fit by any means (skinny cargo pants are the antithesis of useful), but I did want a slimmer, closer fit than you'd get with regular BDUs.
Also, if you intend to keep anything at all in the upper outer pockets, get over that real quick. Maybe pens and a pocketknife, but outside of that, no. The upper pockets seem to be actual magazine pockets. So unless you're carrying around a lot of ammo, you might not find them useful.
These pants are made quite well, the stitching is solid, and the fabric isn't flimsy. Once you've figured out what size you wear (and it looks like that might be an expensive endeavor), they're worth the buy.
Nice pair of pants but the sizing is off.
October 28, 2013
The pants are well made and look exactly as advertised. The big problem is that the sizing is off, I am 117 pounds and wear a size two or a size small. When I ordered a pair of cargo pants, I wanted them to fit loose and give me plenty of room for movement, so I ordered a medium. When the medium sized cargo pants arrived, I could not fit them because they where unbearably tight. I gave the pants away to my 14 year old niece and they fit her perfectly. I really like the design and look of the pants, so I going to try buying a large next time.
Light great color, sizing is off
August 30, 2017
These pants are very comfortable and repel water. They'd be great for travel. They were less lightweight than I hoped, not much of a difference in weight and size with my J brand stretch jeans. The fit is off: I usually wear 4 or 26-27. I tried this in size 2 first, but it was huge. Size 0 worked. However, it was still rather baggy at the upper legs. I would have kept this if the color worked for me, but it didn't. The coal is more of a light gray than dark gray. It has lots of blue in it, and it doesn't work with my green tops
which was pretty frustrating since I had already tried them on in ...
April 8, 2017
I ordered these in a size 4 and had them delivered directly to my destination due to time constraints, however, a size 2 was sent, which was pretty frustrating since I had already tried them on in a store in a different color and knew that's the size that I preferred. The fit was fine around the waist, which is what I would have expected since that's what I typically wear in jeans, but they were tighter in the legs than what I would have liked this type of pant to fit, but I had no choice but to wear them. Other than that, I like them and feel as if they run fairly true to size.
Style and fit are nice, but I need the 32" length
November 29, 2016
Too short! Not a 32 inch inseam as stated on the tag. I measured and they are 30.5" (size 8 pant). Same thing happened at the store I tried them on at. I will be returning these. Style and fit are nice, but I need the 32" length.

October 25, 2016
Unlike my other pair of Halle pants,This pair just falls apart. Managed to lose both waist buttons and one of the fastening buttons in less then a week.Had to go through the rest of my trip with my other pair (bought in Prana store).
Nice fit, but buttons pop off
June 11, 2015
I really like the pants overall, however one of the buttons popped off the second time I wore them (out in the woods!) The second button is close to coming off as well. There is an inside tie which saved the day. The pants are very comfortable and fit me well, and the water repellant works, but be prepared to do a bit of sewing if you want these.(I did call prAna to request new buttons. They do not have them in stock but are willing to reimburse up to $20 if you take the pants to a tailor. I was advised that the product development team is aware of the issue and is working on it.)
Tad too long, shallow pockets
May 28, 2015
These are beautiful pants. The fits well on my hip and are quite comfortable. However, these are tad long. I am 5"8". Also, the pockets are too shallow. You cannot put anything securely. The zipped pocket is a nice feature, though. It could have been better but I am keeping them.

Not the best sizes
February 25, 2016
I wanted to like these. The pockets and look were seemingly just right however they are most definitely Asian sizes. I got the largest size they have and still, being someone who is while short at 5", not too small, these pants were making a bizarro impression of tights.
I was a little nervous on ordering these pants after ...
March 27, 2015
I was a little nervous on ordering these pants after reading all the reviews that this runs really small. So I decided to order two sizes up. BIG MISTAKE!! The pants are huge on me! I don't want to return them so I am just going to have to take them tailored. ( I am normally a size 4 and I ordered 8)
July 12, 2014
I was very disappointed with the delivery of my order, and will never order clothing from Amazon again. The pants were of a high quality, and I really liked them. Unfortunately, they didn't fit. There was no packing slip or return slip included. I had no paperwork to return them. I tried going online and got nowhere in terms of returning the order. Any writing on the inside of the package was either in Korean or Chinese. I ended up giving the pants away and telling the person to give them to Good Will if they didn't fit.
This experience made me very concerned about ordering anything but books and common items from Amazon. I have talked with friends about this, and some of them also have had experiences that made them frustrated. It feels as though you have become one of those discount warehouse websites when something of this nature happens. I hope that you will consider this problem and that you will take this item off your site. I have always loved Amazon, and I hope that you will address this. Thank you,.
Ordered 2 sizes bigger
April 9, 2014
These pants do not fit as well as I expected, I was disappointed due to being recommended to order 2 sizes bigger, which I did and they are still snug
Extremely small, fashion not function
September 18, 2013
The other reviews aren't kidding: The sizing posted in the ad is still way off with these pants. I ordered these 2 sizes larger than normal, and they were still too small!
I am returning these and don't know if I will repurchase in a larger size, as I wanted outdoor cargo pants in black with a slim leg in a durable fabric, but sadly these are very flimsy "Hot Topic" throwaway grade pants, cute for a club but useless for my purposes. I bought them to go hiking, walking, etc. and they really are a paper thin cotton, not a durable, sturdy or utilitarian fabric as I was hoping for. They also have some trendy "distressed" stitching accents that I don't like, (you can see them in the photos of the lighter colors.)
I will say that Match has good customer service, as I initially ordered these and forgot to specify shipping with Amazon, and got a one month delivery date from China. They were totally on top of things and canceled my order the same day I requested the cancellation.
Very low rise for hiking pants.

My two stars are based on the fact the rise is too low for me. I wouldn't feel comfortable hiking in these. Maybe someone younger. They appeared to be well made but I sent them back.
not quite what I needed
June 14, 2016
I didn't hate these pants, but I was hoping they would work for work. The stitching and pockets make them way to casual for my office. So these were returned.
I was very disappointed in these hiking pants
April 25, 2016
I was very disappointed in these hiking pants, especially for the price. For starters, the zipper is not aligned correctly, so when you zip it up, the front panel covering the zipper becomes twisted and is very noticeable. Also, both buttons fell off within three cycles through the wash. I had much higher expectations and have had much better quality from clothing I didn't pay nearly as much for.
Fit is good and is very comfortable to hike in

Stitching on back pockets are coming undone after only 2 washes. Fit is good and is very comfortable to hike in. Pockets are a little small.
Too bad because I love Prana

Weird fit. Baggy in some areas and tight in others. Uncomfortable. Too bad because I love Prana.
Drawcord Will Break
April 22, 2015
These pants are great…..its too bad that the included drawcord, an integral part of the fit, will wear out and break when you still have years of life left in the pants themselves. I know….I have 2 pair of these and loved them until the drawcord became worn and broke on each pair after only about 6 months. If prAna believes the drawcord is necessary to the fit of these pants, and it does seem to be necessary, then the drawcord should be made far more resilient. I didn't really intend to buy the chore of finding replacement drawcords and replacing the drawcords when I bought these pants.
One Star Reviews:

It was too small, really disappointed
Super small. Try 2-3 sizes larger
July 23, 2015
Super small. Try 2-3 sizes larger. Expensive to ship it back. Material is not what I expected...kind of, I dunno, plastic-y? But not in the malleable sense, more like it was made from very thin credit cards...
Ripped in half!
October 26, 2014
The vendor made good on it with a refund, but man, these are the worst quality pants I've EVER worn. The fabric was thin with NO stretch which was fine, but I bent down at work and the knees ripped out cross ways! Then, I squatted again to pick something and the WHOLE butt ripped right out. The worst part, it wasn't even along the seams! The fabric just split!
Oh well, they looked cute for a minute or 2 :)

Got these for work. Got them one size bigger than I needed seeing as how I got them for work. Lasted about a little over a month. Next thing I know, I get into my car headed to work. Pants completely split down the middle. Super embarrassing. Needless to say, worst pair of pants I've ever bought. Big waste of forty dollars
Warning....a 4-6 is really a 0, and each pair has $15 shipping charge from China
February 4, 2013
So I'm between a 2 and a 4. In some jeans I'm even a 1. So when it said buy one to two sizes up I bought ones that were labeled as 4-6 US....they were zeros....and that's before washing. They might fit my 11 year old. They were not even CLOSE to a 4 US. What's worse is they charge $15 PER PAIR for shipping from CHINA so trying to return them is going to cost me as much in shipping as the pants and I won't get my original shipping back. So $75 (2 pairs, 2 $15 shipping charges) wasted.

I bought these pants months ago but received a tall inseam instead of the regular. Was in the middle of moving so did not get to return them in time. So I when I finally got around to hemming them today, I also noticed that the outside leg seam was split. The opening is about 3.5 inches. I will fix that problem too but I'm very disappointed in paying such a high price for the wrong sized inseam and poorly constructed too. Will buy these at REI next time.
Wider and longer than previous same size, material is not as flex as before
December 29, 2016
I own 2 pairs of size 4 previously and they look great on me. Just bought the size 4 from Amazon and it is so baggy, It is wider and longer, the material is not as flex as the one I previously owned. Something is wrong with the pant. I just can not wear it.
Did not like fabric
May 31, 2016
I absolutely did not like the fabric of these pants. It was stiff and uncomfortable and seemed to attract dog fur and lint like a magnet. On the flip side, they fit my significant hourglass shape. But I could not talk myself into keeping them given the concerns I had over the fabric.
Great Pants, But Buy Them from Reputable Dealer
January 1, 2016
If you want these pants I suggest that you buy them from REI. I bought these from REI and loved them so much that I decided to buy a second pair same exact color and size as the ones I already have. My second pair I bought from Amazon and they are way too small, same exact pants, size and color as the ones that I already have in my closet. The pair in my closet are roomy in the tummy area the ones I got from Amazon can not be buttoned or zipped. I am wondering if they may be knockoffs. I am also not getting a full refund.P.S. I wear the ones I bought from REI at least once a week they are comfortable, dry quickly, and you can dress them up or dress them down. You can even alter the length depending on the season.
not for the thick of thigh
September 29, 2015
They are not made for curvier-thighed women. They were loose in the waist, uncomfortably tight in the thigh, loose in the bottom leg, and WAY too long.
April 9, 2014
I'm an average sized woman - and these pants have the strangest looking front crotch of anything I've ever tried on. I'm sorry to say I had to return them because they were very comfortable - but I couldn't wear them outside.
