Five Star Reviews: | 75% cramps were so bad I had to call for a ride December 15, 2016 This'll get lost in the mix, but I owe them enough to write it. I got these pills for biking. Do they work? Yes. I did a 44 mile loop 3 times with them and 1 time without them. The time without them I couldn't finish, cramps were so bad I had to call for a ride. The 3 times I did it with them I didn't have a hint of cramps (or fatigue, really) even the next day. They work. Also.. Years ago, I ran on the treadmill. I got to the point where I could go 60 minutes .. but I'd have to wait 1 day between runs. I was cramped up pretty bad so every other day was the best I could do. (that was when I was 43 years old) Now I'm 47. I haven't run in 3 years (I hurt my feet and they took a long time to heal..) and just getting back up to 60 minutes at a time.. and with the pills I'm running EVERY DAY. When I'm done? I shower.. and forget I did anything. Zero fatigue, zero cramps. Next day? Back on the treadmill ready to rock. The one time I forgot? HURT after running and couldn't do much the next day. BUY THESE PILLS NOW. I'm getting more (on my 3rd bottle) and wouldn't even consider doing anything without them. LOVE THEM. Great Product! It really works! October 14, 2016 This product really works. First tried this during a 15 mile trail run in very hot humid conditions, and it saved me bonking. I've used it since then and it works well every time. Start taking it the day before if you're running in hot and/or humid conditions; and, even if you're not, you still need the electrolytes and this is a great way to get it. I think the price at about $20 a bottle is ok. It is a little difficult to find in bike or running stores, but it is worth the effort tracking it down or buying online. I take 1 about every or so during a marathon at a water stop, and take it with whatever other gel/beverage/block etc that I might be taking. Wash it down with plenty of water or beverage. The best thing you can say about this product: It works!! Endurolytes keep my legs feeling strong all day long May 27, 2016 I attended a fueling seminar held by a pair of triathlete coaches whom recommended this for long periods of exercise. I am an avid cyclist and often do Gran Fondo events and century rides. I would cramp and legs would feel heavy in the later part of the rides. I tried these and was blown away by how well they replenished the electrolytes lost during intense cycling. I now take two or four per hour when cycling and I feel strong throughout my rides. Just the "right" amount of electrolyte supplementation. December 5, 2013 I use these during and after every long run. It could be a complete placebo effect, but I feel better several hours after a run if I take a couple of these during the run. From a nutritional standpoint, they are better than other electrolyte supplements because they offer replenishment of more common electrolytes over many other products that give you only sodium and potassium. Electrolyte imbalance is a fuzzy science, and which ones you need (and when) will vary from person to person and from day to day. That said, these seem to offer a good amount of each, without going overboard on any of them. Of course, "good" is a very subjective term, but I like to think that these provide just the necessary amounts of each to keep everything working. Working WELL is up to you, as these are supplements, not a replacement for proper eating habits. In other words, Endurolytes might give you just enough Chorlide or Potassium to meet a basic requirement for function, but you'd be wise to find an actual source of these nutrients on a regular dietary basis. Solved the mystery of the terrible post-run nausea! February 20, 2013 I have been running now for about 8 years. About an hour after my long runs (4-7 miles), I noticed I would get a terrible flu-like nausea that would last for about an hour. It was horrible and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out it was an electrolyte deficiency! I thought I was dehydrated but for some reason my body expels electrolytes like crazy so now I take 2 of these electrolytes after a run, usually along with Gatorade, and I am good to go. I am so relieved to find out what was causing me such sickness. Hammer's electrolytes have no calories, sugar or other additives which I like. I would recommend these to anyone, especially to people experiencing the strange post-workout symptoms I had!!! | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 12% Good product June 25, 2016 I open six capsules add to my gatorade in my water bottles on my bike and go. I used the product today and I felt great, so I will continue to use. If you are in a hot climate this product will help you. Love using these during long endurance bike rides August 10, 2015 Love using these during long endurance bike rides. They really help with preventing muscle cramps and prevent me from getting dehydrated, even when it is 90+ degrees outside (obviously pair with adequate amounts of water for full effect). I'll admit too, my friends and I have used these before going to bed after a night of wine drinking or day of tailgating at college football games and they seem to help get through the next morning as well haha A Must Part Of My Runs/Rides While Living In Rain Forest July 27, 2014 I am not sure if its psychological or if physiologically due to these tabs or a little of both, but after i have started to use them I feel like my exercising and performance and recovery time seems to have drastically improved. Lets paint the picture, I am roughly 6'1" and 235 lbs. I currently am doing an expat for work for a few years in Singapore which is roughly on the equator in Asia in a very humid and tropical rain forest climate. I roughly (5) times a week do trail runs and/or mountain bike rides in jungle for anywhere from 1-3 hours per outing. Having done roughly the same thing prior to using these tablets it would be very painful towards the end, and on rare occasion i would feel light headed, even though i would drink tons of water. Adding these supplements seem to have improved both my physical performance both in time and distance and my post exercise recovery seems to be better as well. My process is that prior to exercising I take a Hammer Nutrition Endurolyte Pill and then use the NUUN Tablets in my camelbak as well as adding to my post workout cooldown water consumption. Reason for the (4) is that when I break them open to fill water bottles the taste is kind of blah, where as the NUUN tablets have nice flavor. Doctor recommended, but he's MY doctor, younger and better conditioned. Results could be placebo effect ... or not. July 26, 2013 I've been having difficulty managing longer hikes and hot weather lately. I know I don't drink enough before and during my hilly walks. I don't like lugging around all that water (8 pounds a gallon), and drinks like Gatorade give me have way too much sodium. So my doctor, who happens to be a cyclist on the same trails as I hike, recommended Hammer Electrolyte Capsules. Today was the second day that I tried them, three before my hike, three after the first hour, and two after the second hour. I drank a total of 16 ounces of water. Well, I didn't feel like passing out and I was not out of breath. That's a positive change from the last four weeks. I really can't say that these electrolyte supplements did the trick. After all, I'd need a control group, and right now with my issues, I'm a group of one. This could be a placebo effect because my doctor recommended them, but I'm smart enough to know that my doctor's in a hell of a lot better shape than I am AND he's 23 years younger. Not a good comparison. In the next five weeks, the plan is for around 20 hikes, although 13 of those will be done on the coast and in much cooler climes. I'll report back. If I finish all of the hikes, this will get 5 stars. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 3% Not convinced June 16, 2017 After years of avoiding these, I finally decided to try them in a race I've done three times before. Even though the event was only about 3.5 hours long, I typically get leg cramps in the last 30-45 minutes. I took 1 before the race and 5 during the race (mixed with my sports gel and water). Unfortunately, I couldn't tell any difference. Still had cramping in almost the exact same spot in the race and in my legs. Like before, I was able to ride through it. Really can't say I noticed any difference. Seems like an expensive gimmick to me, though most racers I know use them. I've been using these pills when cycling and I have ... April 17, 2017 I've been using these pills when cycling and I have not seen a difference. I have not seen any negative effects so I guess the jury is still out. February 18, 2016 Thought this would be good for muscle cramps after workouts but found it was problematic for sensitive digestive system Worth a try if you run distance January 4, 2016 I like these for during or after really really long runs. I would only recommend them for people who are training for full marathons or ultras. I'm only giving them three stars though because they made me really sick. I am sure they work fine on most people but I have a very sensitive stomach, so I would just caution all buyers to be aware if they have a sensitive stomach. It's better than nothing June 1, 2014 My husband works in 100 degree weather several months out of the year where he's sweating constantly. He hates Gatorade and wanted something he could take with his water that would hydrate him better; something cheaper than SmartWater. He tried these a little at a time and said he couldn't tell any difference in how he felt. He gradually upped the dose taken at one time and they nauseated him. These didn't work for him, but if you don't have a sensitive stomach, they may work for you. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 4% The product works great, 5 stars February 19, 2016 The product works great, 5 stars. I have used it for years for endurance running and its helpful, especially in humidity. The two stars are for the fulfillment from this vendor. They are not supposed to have a smell or taste, The bottle I received smells and tastes bad, and it's getting worse. The product still works, but the taste is terrible. It took me a while to realize the pills are probably rancid, this is confirmed by the other comments about the taste from others. This is probably my fifth year of using these pills and they have never smelled before. I've used too many to return them at this point. Do order these for any endurance training, but pick a reputable fulfillment company to buy from. Two Stars July 13, 2014 Not as much electrolytes as I would have wished. Check the amounts very close. It does not work June 8, 2014 Used it. It did not stop my cramping. I actually feel stiffer when I take this during a long run. didn't help w/ cramping May 30, 2014 Bought a bottle of these based on some positive reviews regarding preventing cramps. However, these did not help out at all with the cramp-attacks I would experience after ~2.5hours into an MTB ride. Someone else recommended Sportslegs which worked wonders for me in keeping the cramps away. Couldn't really tell the difference. April 10, 2014 Couldn't really tell if this was working or not. This probably works for some people but not me. Gels work better for me. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |

Dont buy this item, i received a relabeled expire product, it smells bad, original expire date was july 2016, and i purchased it on january 2017, i was robed!!!!!!!! One Star April 4, 2017 Wow, can't believe they just relabeled an expired product, WTH! Not what I expected! I had horrible leg cramps before taking this product and still had ... January 2, 2015 Does not work. I had horrible leg cramps before taking this product and still had horrible leg cramps after using this product. I went and bought a bottle of Potassium and a bottle of Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc and started taking one of each every day and viola, no more leg cramps since. Sorry I wasted the money on this. Are these placebo? December 17, 2013 They don't work at all, and you have to take a ton of these pills in order for them to work. I felt like I was going to overdose because I kept getting cramps on a motorcycle enduro race. swithched to Sicaps and these did the job well | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
