Works perfectly!
July 26, 2017
I've wanted one of these for a long time but have never remembered to buy one. I saw this one on Prime Day and figured that I'd give it a shot. I find myself using it all the time now. It slices cleanly and easily, and the cleanup is very quick. The stand is also very sturdy, which is important to me for something as sharp as this. I'm a satisfied customer, and I've been showing it off to my friends, who have shown interest in it as well.
Works great, just be sure to protect your hands!!
January 13, 2017
I love this slicer. I works very well and is very easy to clean. It makes cooking with vegetables much faster for me. Plus my recipes turn out better because the vegetables are all the same consistency and thickness. I absolutely hated the gripper that was included in this set and threw it away immediately. I purchased the NoCry cut resistant gloves on Amazon which have worked very well for me. The mandoline lets you slice very fast and I have caught my fingers--while wearing the gloves!--numerous times on the blades. Because I wear the cut resistant gloves this has not been a problem BUT whether you use the included gripper or get blade resistant gloves, MAKE SURE you are protecting your hands. I have lots of friends who have had nasty mandoline accidents after telling themselves "I'll just slice a little of this zucchini, not even the whole thing, so I don't need to worry." Protect your hands and this mandoline will speed up your kitchen prep time enormously.
Son and Wife very happy with product.
January 13, 2017
This was a gift for my son, who seems very happy with this product. He had another that I had purchased for him and his wife a few years ago (a different brand) They have used it a lot, so much that the blades became dull and they asked me where I purchased. Well, the purchase came from a Craft Show in Harrisburg, PA but leave it to Mama to go looking for another. The one feature Mom liked was that this one has a stand and storage for the blades. ( other one didn't have these features ) That also seems to be a plus for son and his wife. Plus this one has a medium blade as well as fine and chunky. One thing I will say, make sure you use the safety feature provided going in the directions of the arrows to protect you fingers, the blades are very sharp.
A must must have
December 7, 2016
This thing is amazing. I can't say enough good things about it. It slices beautifully and so much faster than I ever could - with greater consistency. Ann Burrell would be proud.

Clean up is a breeze, throw it in the dishwasher. This is dishwasher safe, which was a big consideration when looking at slicers.

Only thing to be wary of, watch your fingers. The blades are amazingly sharp. I get an adrenaline rush when I get to the end of a potato. You could easily julienne your fingers.
This is just what I wanted
February 15, 2016
Although this is plastic (except for the blades) it is very sturdy. Super easy to clean too. Just swish it through some warm soapy water and rinse. If you are slicing something like cheese you might have to swish a little bit more to get anything stuck around the blades but even so how hard is that right? The safety slice guard keeps my fingers completely safe which is good since the stationary blades are REALLY sharp. There three different widths you can make your slices and two sizes julienne adapter. And lets not forget the blade storage rack so you don't have them all over the cabinets or drawers.

For dicing onions you will need to first make cuts in one direction by hand on the onion. This is not made to do this. Now using the julienne blade and placing the onion with the pre-made cuts going side to side you can dice your onion in no time.

This really makes making things like subs for a large group super easy. Anytime you want your veggies and things sliced or julienned evenly and fast this is perfect.

Give this a try!

I couldn't wait to get this heavy duty spiralizer. This spiralizer can accommodate some larger more dense vegetables. The spiralizer is easy to use, comes with 5 blades and is dishwasher safe. I washed it in the sink but put the blade in the dishwasher.I can now spiralize more than just zucchini. I made sweet potato and rutabaga noodles last night. It worked out well and because the rutabaga wasn't as dense as in it's original form, it cooked faster as a saute and was actually much more filling than it would have been.I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to eat better and even have some fun making meals. I'm sure supervised kids would enjoy helping to make these noodles too.
Very easy to use and to clean
September 18, 2017
My boyfriend rolled his eyes when I said I ordered a spiralizer but now we're both addicted to it. It's definitely in the top 10 of out most used kitchen gadgets now.Very easy to use and to clean! It does not stick to our counters as well as I would like so it does make it a little awkward to hold in place at times. We usually just have one of us holding down the machine and the other one in charge of spiralizing rather than relying on the suction cups beneath to hold it down. The "noodles" always come out great though! And they're pretty fun to make! We've been making most of the "classic" pasta dishes that we enjoy with some form of veggie noodle now and we couldn't be happier. I happen to love pasta but hate the heavy full feeling I get after eating a bunch but that doesn't really happen with the veggie noodles. It's a healthier option that is still just as delicious!I also really enjoy the fact that there's several different kinds of spiralizing options from angel hair pasta to pappardelle noodles. I just wish there was enough storage space in the machine itself for all the extra cutting plates though. All in all, this is a great little machine for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to jump on the zoodle bandwagon!
Love it
September 16, 2017
Makes eating healthy fun! My 8 yr old son and I experimented cutting fruit and veg using every blade. Easy to use and clean. I would not let my son touch the blades or do this without supervision as your hands get closer to the blades as you turn the handle. I have a toothbrush in the kitchen for cleaning my juicer and it helps to clean the very sharp blades on this too. This does slip around a little on our counters no matter how hard it squish the suction cups down. Assume it grips better on a stone counter than on an old wood counter top. I zoodle zucchini and yellow squash a make linguini with clam sauce. Enjoyed with pesto and alfredo sauce, but none of us liked spaghetti sauce on the zoodles. I have fun going to the farmers market to pick out things to chop up. Am a busy working mom so like that I can use this, rinse and throw it back into the box within minutes, unlike my juicer which takes a long time to clean and put away. I am happy with this and have recommended it to others.
I'm one of those weirdos that does an unnecessary amount of research
November 10, 2016
I'm one of those weirdos that does an unnecessary amount of research, reads review after review, watches videos, and looks through the fine print on where a product is made and what the warranty covers - just to make sure I'm getting the best product for the best price. After owning the spiralizer for a year now, I feel confident in sharing how much I love this thing - it couldn't be easier to use and for the price ($30) it is surprisingly well-built with high quality blades. Although you get 3 blades depending on the cut you want to achieve, I mainly use it to make vegetable-spaghetti. Two things to keep in mind: 1) When you're buying produce, make sure you get veggies with a large enough diameter (yes, size does matter - especially for carrots!), 2) Zucchinis contain a lot of water so keep that in mind not only when cooking but also when storing leftovers as it may thin the sauce overnight.
A spiralizer that couldn't be better and works perfectly!
November 9, 2015
This is one of those rare items that makes you realize how good well designed products can be. I bought one of the small versions first, the kind you hold in one hand as you use the other hand to twist a vegetable through. It worked, but it had a couple of frustrating aspects. I know there was potential so I sprang for this more expensive spiralizer and I'm glad I did. It truly could not work better. There are a couple of things to be aware of. Soft vegetables, zucchini, etc., work fine in smaller sizes, but small hard vegetables, carrots, etc., maybe 1.25" diameter, don't work very well. So for carrots I buy larger than I normally would. For zucchini, yellow summer squash, etc., small or large both work. Even oversize vegetables and fruit work fine.Vegetables used as spaghetti substitute don't taste exactly like pasta; instead the flavor comes from the sauce and the vegetable, but somehow a zucchini made into spaghetti strands doesn't taste like zucchini, it tastes much better. That might be because it's so thin it only has to cook for about two minutes max. Add some good sauce (I add Field Roast Apple Sage vegetarian sausage) and grated parmesan and you've got a dish that's delicious in its own right - it doesn't need to mimic pasta, although with sauce it comes close.I haven't gotten too far into the salad realm yet, but I've done carrot, cucumber, radish and jicama with a light citrus dressing. Very good! The spiralizer is bigger than I expected, approximately 14" x 8.5" x 6". The way the blades are changed is ingenious and means you don't actually handle the blades directly.I'm really glad I bought this and HIGHLY recommend it!
Great Spiralizer, Great Company & Free Recipes!
July 7, 2015
I bought the spiralizer because I wanted to try new healthier recipes and kept running into ones that required something to be "spiralized". I can't believe I never heard of this product before... so cool and opens up a whole bunch of recipe ideas you never considered before. Also great way to cut back on carbs. I bought from this company because reviews were good & price was good - found out after I ordered that they are also a good company! They shipped the spiralizer right away, but before I even got it they emailed me a PDF of recipes to try and thanked me for my order! After I got it they emailed me another PDF with recipes and gave me a bunch of tips for using the spiralizer - what not to do, what to do, etc.So far I have tried to spiralize cucumbers, sweet potatoes and of course zuchinni. It literally takes 30 seconds to spiralize a zuchinni!! The machine is made well and blades store nice & safe in slots under the machine base (I store it in an upper cabinet to safely keep away from kids). Cleans up really easy too - because it is a non-electrical item you can easily wash it down in the sink - I give it a good rinse and quick scrub after each use.

I've used this often in canning, it sliced the cucumbers to make Sandwich dills (lengthwise) very well and yesterday even did garlic slivers. Really being careful to not get cut on the small stuff the gripper can't catch.
Sharp
July 26, 2017
It took me a few tries to get it right. I'm not used to the split blades. They leave a mark but cut evenly. I haven't had a chance to use the other blades, just the thick, medium and thin slices but it works great!
I like the sturdy feet and the organizer for the blades.
It's pretty big, so check the measurements.

July 25, 2017
So far so good! Very sharp and the variety of blades is a plus. The mandolin is a bit bulky but that also makes it feel sturdy. My only complaint is that there seems to be slight hump in the plastic where the two blades meet and it sometimes doesn't allow the food to easily slide over to complete the cut.
It works good.
May 9, 2017
I had my mom test it out and it slices so cleanly and in uniform thickness. It doesn't make much of a mess. The only thing my mom and I noticed was that once your fruit/vegetable of choice is sliced down pretty good it is hard to get the rest of the end sliced pretty evenly.
Works Quickly, Scary Sharp
January 23, 2017
After recently purchasing a dehydrator, I also decided to purchase this mandoline to make slicing of vegetables and fruits a little less time consuming. Safe to say this tool does a fantastic job in much less time than hand slicing, and does it well. The blade is very sharp so be careful and use the hand guard it comes with! I found out quickly how sharp the blade is, fortunately, it wasn't too bad of a cut but it was a quick lesson learned. Honestly, this thing scares me each time I take it out but after figuring out how to use the guard, it's not as intimidating as when I first used it. If you don't want to use the guard, I'd strongly recommend you get cut-proof gloves.

As good as this mandoline is, there are a few items to note if you decide to purchase it. First, each of the inserts has the sizing on it so that you'll know the thickness of what you're slicing (1.5mm, 2.5mm, 3.5mm, etc.) which is difficult to read being white on white with small lettering. I had to use a permanent marker to write the size of each on the underside of the inserts. Second, there's a guard on the underside of the mandoline that limits access to the blade for cleaning. Understandably, the guard is there for a good reason as this blade is very sharp, just note that it makes getting to some portions of the blade a bit difficult.

In all, I'm happy with the purchase, its definitely made my life in the kitchen more efficient and less time consuming when prepping.

Alright.
September 10, 2017
Used this to shred cabbage. I left it whole because I saw it was left whole in a demo video. It's hard to get the cabbage to stay in place and shred. I couldn't get my bowl to catch the cabbage so it was left laying all over the counter. I also didn't like how thin the cabbage was sliced and there's no other blade or width option that can change that. (For the dish I was making, the cabbage shouldn't be so thinly sliced but it would be fine if you're making coleslaw.)Will be trying the zoodle option next and hope it goes better than before.[Update] Extra star for the seller reaching out. Bitoni USA is great as a seller and deserves 5 stars but the design flaw of the spiralizer is 3.
Works Well, but Stains Easily
July 13, 2017
This works really well! It takes a little muscle to get it started because you have to push and twist at the same time. Sometimes I cut the vegetables down to make this part easier. I just wish it wasn't white (or that there was an easier way to clean the spiked part of the device). I have mostly used it for sweet potatoes and they seem to be staining the spikes that you stick the vegetable into. I have tried scrubbing with abrasive dish cloths and brushes to no avail. Now it just looks gross even though I know that I have cleaned the area. The rest of the spiralizer is easy to clean!
Good quality - fun to use.
April 2, 2017
This appears to be very good quality, especially for the price! It did an excellent job making my spiralized zucchini. My only complaint would be one of the blades claims to be for curly fries and unfortunately it produces paper thin flat spirals which were very far from curly fries. Aside from that one attachment claiming to be for something it shouldn't, the item is of good quality. It was so easy and fun to spiralize things, easy to store and wash.
Messy
January 27, 2017
Really enjoying the simplicity of this. Biggest flaw is there is no easy way to catch what is coming out. The picture shows a bowl catching a zucchini, that in reality will never happen. The veggies will accumulate on the post end of the slicer and you have to stop remove by hand the mass of spiraled veggies and continue on. There is just no way to put a bowl or catching device on the other end. It needs a ramp or some kind of chute on the back end to direct veggies into a bowl.It works. Just be prepared to have sliced veggies all over the place.
Excellent way to add veggies to meals, but...
January 16, 2017
I just bought this spiralizer to help incorporate more veggies into the family meals. It works wonderful, and it's so easy to use that my 7 year old is now in charge of veggie prep. The only mod I would suggest for the next production would be to have the end with the crank handle automatically advance based on the crank rotation (think Apple peeler corer slicer: https://www.amazon.com/Johnny-Peeler-VICTORIO-VKP1010-Suction/dp/B001DLTD1C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1484578688&sr=8-3&keywords=apple+peeler+slicer+corer)
I love this little machine
March 18, 2016
I love this little machine. I love what it does with certain produce items like apples, fennel and zucchini. It is very easy to clean! My only concern is with the suction cup feet. What I've learned is that I should not set it up in advance as the suction wears off. So I make sure I push hard and directly on each of the four posts above the feet until the suctions invert--and I do this just before I'm ready to use it. Otherwise, love this machine and how it is adding a wonderful new twist to my meals.

I was hoping that this was like my 30 year old Boerner Slicer that bit the dust...but it's not really. The finger guard is much to big and bulky. The blade storage is stupid.
Good for the money, but missing cheese grater.
July 2, 2017
I didn't realize this didn't come with a cheese grater, and when I tried to return, my return value was zero. Guess I am stuck with it. For the money though, it works well, is easy to clean and set up and change out blades.
but am slightly disappointed. It takes up a lot of space
January 10, 2017
I was really excited about this, but am slightly disappointed. It takes up a lot of space, makes a huge mess, and I have a hard time getting the guard thing to work efficiently. Unless I'm slicing up a whole bunch of veg, I would rather just use a knife.
Is it me???
January 7, 2017
I do like that this comes with the slicing guard to protect my fingers and the size of the slicer. The blades are easy enough to switch out, but even when I use the blade for thicker slices my slices still come out paper thin. When slicing apples to dehydrate I could put a little more pressure on them as I sliced then I could tomatoes which are softer, but even with the extra pressure they were still way thinner than I expected / wanted.

UPDATE: Ok, so a representative of LiBa contacted me the next morning after I left my review because they wanted me to be happy and wanted to make it right. I did not write the review for any purpose other than to help others in their buying choice because I personally rely heavily on reviews for my purchases. I am not changing my review of the item for the same reason, HOWEVER, I do have to say that I am beyond happy with how this company handled the situation. I was way beyond their money-back guarantee time frame, so I did not pursue that but they refunded my money within 24 hours of their first response to my review. You cannot help but love a company that stands behind their products and aims so highly for customer satisfaction the way that this company does and I would happily order from them again!
Ok for slices but not julienne
October 24, 2016
It does the jobs and it's good for slicing. But if you want to julienne, it's still faster to do it by hand. The design means it works but you have a lot of waste on the leftover portion.

3 1/2 stars. Good, not great.
October 10, 2017
There is no crank shaft to pull the spinner farward so you have to apply pressure while you turn, and the issue with that is the sucktion cups don't keep it from slipping along the countertop. So it's a little tricky to get the hang of. But it cuts well. There are only two storage spots on the bottom, and it comes with five blades. It is not very compact for storage. The up side is it does it's job well.
It works for now
July 24, 2017
I have only used once - and just on zucchini, so not a hard vegetable. The blades are great - too bad there is only space to store 3 of the 5 blades with the unit. The plastic parts seem to be cheaply made - I don't expect it to last a great length of time. The suction cups don't work well to hold to counter so I had to hold the unit down with one hand while turning crank with the other - I question whether it will work with harder vegies but still have to try that.
A fun gadget...but a lot of work and a lot of clean up
July 18, 2017
This does the job that it's supposed to do...but it's a lot of work and a lot of clean up. Sometimes it's just easier to chop the things yourself! My wife used it once and then went back to slicing herself as it's easier and faster!
Really great, but not all slicers store into it
April 5, 2017
Really great, but not all slicers store into it. Also hard to know which one does what...would be good to have that part marked on each slicer. This would be an enhancement as the product is superb. The seller contacted me with full offer of money back, but of course not...it is fantastic. Fabulous customer service indeed, and would definitely buy from them again :)
sweet potatoes and carrots
February 21, 2017
I used it for zucchini, sweet potatoes and carrots. The carrots and sweet potatoes were particularly difficult and I had to recenter several times and took a fair amount of pressure to spiralize them. By the reviews and descriptions it sounded much better and easier than it was for me. I just made wedge potatoes the next time (much easier). I will continue to use it to make zucchini noodles, however.
Eh...
August 27, 2016
We enjoy using our Spiralizer, but it looks and feels like a cheap knock-off (we're not convinced it's not at this point). One of the teeth broke on our first use, and the suction cups don't stick to our counter so one person has to hold it down while the other one turns the handle. The blades work well--so far we've spiralized sweet potatoes with great results, we just thought it'd be of higher quality than it is.

One of the blades doesn't properly attach
July 25, 2017
I have already used the mandoline slicer a couple times since I received it last week, and for the most part it works really well. However one of the blades I received (7.0 MM - cuts into the shape of fries) does not properly attach to the body of the slicer and I therefore am unable to use it. Not sure if I'll keep the product.

Cheap slicer. Blades have bent after a couple of uses.
Don't recommend.
March 22, 2017

NOT Good
March 19, 2017
I was using that tool with some strange feeling
But was not able to identify the cause until I checked blades sharpness by my thumb
The result - Left blade much duller
Cleaning - not an easy process, as plate on the back limits access
I was trying to Julienne my carrots – not the best result

Not as good as expected
November 5, 2016
Not as good as expected. Mainly, the part that holds the item to be sliced is awful. As long as the item is large, you do ok, but from medium to small size it does not hold well and it does not slice either at all or properly. You end up having to slice or julianne using a knife, which defeats the purpose of having the slicer.

The plastic gets stained with some veggies, and you cannot clean it. I think stainless steel would be better (yes, pricier), but I don't use this one very often because it's not practical for many reasons.

I consider it a waste of money and space in my kitchen.

Feet suction cups don't work
July 27, 2017
the suction cups on the "feet" do not hold. It slides around when I try to use it. This means I need someone to hold it for me to use it. This is so sad because I used to have one that worked and I loved it. I complained to the company and they sent me new suction cup "feet". But they are exactly the same as the ones that came with it and do not work any better. My old one had a longer base and held. The newer redesign just doesn't work.
doens't feel sturdy at all
June 11, 2017
wobbly and doesn't feel like a great quality product, especially not for the $30 it cost. Used it 1-2 times and now it's in a cupboard useless.
I wish I bought this first!
April 23, 2017
I have been buying cheap spiralizers to make vegetable pasta. They either didn't work or broke. I finally bought this spiralizer and was pleased with the the quality of the product. It works very well. The only complaint I have is that they would mark each blade with what it does so you don't have to look at the directions. My only regret is that I didn't buy this first instead of wasting my money on cheap versions.UPDATE: Company promised a peeler if I posted an Amazon review. After posting this review, they contacted me to say they were out of peelers. I said I would wait. They have never sent it! Bummer😔☹️
I wouldn't buy it.
March 19, 2017
This is hard to crank for several reasons. The base interferes with the handle as you progress towards the blade and the handle is made in such a way that it hurts your hand. Also, there is a rather large part of the vegetable that gets pared out in the center creating quite a bit of waste. Used little Joyce Chen for years and prefer it to this one.
Wouldn't recommend
March 18, 2017
I received this a day later then guaranteed date. It wouldn't stick to countertop which made it hard to crank it and hold it down at the same time on top of the fact that you have another lever that you have to hold and push forward in order for the spiral action to work.

Works well, but Dangerous!
July 26, 2017
Yes, it's sharp, and it shredded vegetables very well but I still threw it out after using it once. This thing is poorly designed, if your hand slips off the slice guard while slicing food, your going to SHRED your hand. Perhaps I'm paranoid, but to me, it's not worth the risk.

I bought this to make curly fries with. Itt looks like you can make normal sized/thickness curly fries, but NO! Apparently that is a hard to find luxery nowadays. After reading the instructions and finding the "curly fry" blade, I popped it in and cranked my potato through...it was disappointing to see what came out the other side!! Curls alright...as thin as thick cut potato chips. They were too thin to adequately pass as curly fries, but I did get a cool mushroom looking bit out of it...
