Great Product for Skin Abrasions or Yeast Infections/Itching
June 28, 2016
I use this cream whenever I get a yeast infection or any itching down below. It works extremely well, and it's much cheaper than buying the over-the-counter expensive products at the drug store. I also recommend this for acne. It may sound nuts, but this cream has a very calming and healing affect on skin abrasions. It has some anti-inflammatory properties that take redness out of your face and reduces swelling. Try this product if nothing else has worked for you, you may be pleasantly surprised.
Great stuff!!!!!
March 21, 2016
Love this product and it can be hard to find out there in the retail world. As my doctor informed me, everybody has yeast on their skin surface. When weather gets hot, and you perspire, this is the answer. I even use it in my horses one ear that has a problem every spring...better than anything I ever got from the vet. Great stuff for an excellent price. Bought a tube for a friend and my husband too.
Miracle Cure!

Wonderful antifungal cream. Got rid of my husband's tough case of athlete's foot in about 2 bottles. We had tried every OTC fungal treatment but none were eliminating the problem. If you suspect you have any type of fungus on your skin, I highly recommend you try this before you head to the dermatologist.
Heals fungal infections
March 15, 2015
The Repara Antifungal Cream is a thick cream that stays well on your skin and is effective at healing fungal infections. I sometimes need this where skin touches skin such as under the breasts where red area develops. I first apply Repara and then after about 10 minutes I apply talcum powder over the Repara. Very pleased with this product.
Really works.
March 4, 2015
Used it on some tinnea versicolor that was getting out of control and it cleared it right up. Definitely worked better and faster than the spray I was using before. The cream wasn't greasy and didn't smell bad. Would definitely buy it again. Wish I had bought it first instead of wasting my time with the other stuff.
Excellent yeast remedy at an excellent price!
May 11, 2014
This is the medicine that gets the job done if you are suffering with itchy and/or painful fungus...a large size for an excellent price...I have had various fungal rashes over the years due to living in an extremely humid climate while suffering a fatigued immune system whilst recovering from a prolonged illness. I can't recommend this cream highly enough for yeast rash...serious medicine and the best price I have found anywhere!

Treats Fungus Among Us
August 28, 2016
Takes a few weeks to eliminate athletes foot, but does work, and this is a good price. Can be used on a variety of fungal infections. No product or medicine, in my experience, can successfully and permanently knock out some fungus infections, but this is a great weapon in the war.

June 16, 2015
This is a much cheaper form of the same creme you seem to only be able to get as a TINY tube as part of a larger package of something you don't want. It's as good for athlete's foot as anything sold over the counter for that.
Recommended by a doctor for Athlete's Feet, works fast & great!!!
March 27, 2015
I actually purchased this based on a recommendation from a very reputable doctor's office; obviously I didn't use it for jock itch:) I used it on my feet for athlete's feet, which I picked-up from either a hotel while traveling, or possibly my son (while visiting him). As I said it was recommended by a great doctor's office; it definitely works for athlete's foot/feet- fast too. I love the product!!!
At least I feel better when they disappear
March 1, 2015
This really works as claimed, tho I don't recall ever having jock itch. Same problem in another location must be a something else itch. Whatever the red splotched areas on thighs and sometimes back of calves, this stuff wipes them out in a few applications. Dermo never could tell me what or why these occur and frankly they don't itch much. At least I feel better when they disappear. May never know what I get.
Glad this is available on line!
September 12, 2014
These days Miconazole Nitrate is very hard to find in stores. I don't know why. It used to be easy to find as a generic or as Micatin. I think this ointment works better than the other chemical compounds, so I'm glad it's available on line.
As an aside: Selsun Blue, used as a body or foot wash (where ever you need it), also really helps.

Seems to have helped, though I find that this product stays moist and sticky feeling. It does not seem to disipate into the skin as much as other products, but also seems to do more.
Stopped Ringworm fast.
February 25, 2016
My kid had a fungus behind her knees for a long time. Dr. thought it was eczema and kept prescribing steroids. I decided that it wasn't a path I wanted for her and discontinued them. One day I noticed that she had more red spots and they were round this time. I thought about ringworm and tried Lamisil. It worked, but it was really expensive when you have so much area to treat. This stuff is really thick and is affordable. Now my kid can concentrate in kindergarten now instead of itching all the time.
It Works!
December 5, 2015
This worked where four prescription anti fungal creams did not. It has a dryish feel, making it perfect for use in places where perspiration is a problem. Some persistance is required to conquer the fungus, and I had to use this cream twice a day for about a month for it to work. It's a good buy, being a large tube for the price. No nasty smell or greasy feel. Definitely recommend.

I have gotten other name brands and this is the only one that cleared up my problem within 2-3 days. What a relief. I will buy this again.
Glad to find this product. Best price at least when I ordered it at this time..who knows when you do.
May 30, 2015
I would give it five stars if it wasn't kinda tacky. A smoother lotion like product would be nicer to use. This can be a tad tacky and sticky and doesn't then flow or slip around and work into the skin as well as I am used to for products with Miconazole. This active ingredient at our rural area is hard to find. So glad to get these tubes..ordered two to have on hand a spare too. Atheletic foot creams does not work as well for some of the ladies situations and for the first time ever I had a yeast like rash appear...and this active ingredient was the only thing that worked of all the many things I tried.
Antifungal Cream
November 26, 2014
This product arrived a little late but likely due to holiday traffic. I am having laser toe nail treatment and using antifungal cream is recommended. I had gone through a couple half ounce tubes of the stuff when I decided to pursue on line. This treatment seems to work as well or better than any other tried and the cost of this 5 oz tube is about the same as the half oz tubes bought at the local pharmacy. An observation: This cream absorbs quickly into the skin. As a consequence, I am using on my entire foot and it seems to have greatly reduced dry skin cracking, as well.

February 9, 2014
The product is great. Most over-the-counter tubes of antifungal are 1 percent. Miconazole is 2 percent.
When I ordered, I must have skipped over the number of tubes I was buying. When six arrived, all marked "CURES JOCK ITCH" IN BIG LETTERS, I was surprised. Here I am a little old 87-year-old lady with 6 tubes of ... well you get the picture. Seriously, the
product has made a patch of scoriasis disappear.
Miconazole Nitrate 2%, 6 pack great deal, you need 3oz
May 9, 2013
Miconazole is a great product. I purchased one two oz. tube but that wasn't enough to complete the two week regimen. You need a minimum of three to four tubes for the full two weeks. I have tried many OTC products that didn't help, and all the home remedies I could find they didn't help. Miconazole is hard to find but is very effective.

I received the product as described, and on time. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Was sent McKeeson brand, not Repara brand :-(
December 30, 2016
I originally bought this earlier this year and was highly satisfied! I ran out so bought it again, but was sent "McKeeson Antifungal Cream" with a label added that it was Repara. The McKesson cream is not as good as the original Repara. The consistency of the McKeeson cream is like a hand lotion, not the nice thickness of the Repara. I would give 5 stars for the Repara brand, but am giving the McKeeson brand 3 stars.

July 2, 2015
I'd like to open this review by reviewing the actual product. REPARA Antifungal Cream. It didn't work for me, but there is more to it than that. I will however tell you what did work for me once I've finished with the product review.Pros:I bought this product because it was affordable, and because of the size of the tube. Most antifungal creams come in a 1oz, 1.5oz or 2oz size tube. This one comes in a 5oz tube for half the price of name brand creams like Lotrimin.I was skeptical at first. Usually when something is too good to be true, it is. But I had tried most other antifungals with different active ingredients, including Clotrimazole, ketaconazole, various powders and other prescription creams, as well as some home remedies like rubbing alcohol, listerine, tea tree oil, and various types of vinegar. I didn't have much to lose by the time I was ready to try this. I can honestly say that this cream did more to improve my condition than any of the others I'd tried, with the exception of rubbing alcohol. When treating a fungal condition, it's important to keep in mind that different strains of fungus respond better to different types of treatment. Mine just happened to respond well to Miconazole, the active ingredient in this medication. The cream itself is different from others I've tried. It's very similar to diaper rash creams. Anyone who has had kids is probably familiar with this. It's thick and goes on dry. It doesn't leave behind an oily or greasy residue, as with other creams. Personally, I really liked this aspect of the cream. It is a great barrier ointment that rubs in pretty well and dries quickly.Cons:It's made in China. This didn't deter me, but it may others. And I feel it's worth noting regardless. It changed the texture of my skin. I haven't seen mention of this in any of the other reviews I've read, so this may not be a common side effect. It's hard to describe exactly how it changed the texture of my skin. It didn't make it rough or bumpy. But during the course of my treatment with this product it did change. I want to say my skin felt a little thicker and somewhat leathery, though still soft and smooth. It was definitely different from how it had been before, and sadly, not because the product was working. One of the areas I was treating was my scrotum, and I also noticed that after a week of use, along with the change in texture, the skin would not longer relax. It was always tight and tense. Uncomfortably so at times. For anyone else treating especially sensitive areas like this, pay close attention to any kind of changes like these. I would suggest stopping treatment immediately if you encounter an issue like this. I stuck it out because I was desperate, and after years of searching, I had finally found something that seemed to be working. Ultimately it didn't. I haven't used the product in a about a week and a half now and the skin is finally going back to it's original texture and behaving normally, but changes like these can potentially be permanent if you aren't careful. Again, this may not happen to everyone, but if you're still considering buying this product anyway, be vigilant for any changes such as these.Overall experience:It cleared the dry flaky skin up within the first couple of days. After a little over a week the redness had faded considerably, and was eventually gone. Gone, for a whole day. It began to come back the next day, despite the fact that I continued to wash the area with Purely Northwest Antifungal soap and water, and reapply the ointment three times daily. I used the product for 3 weeks total. It continued to keep the fungus in check but it did not kill or cure it. By the end of my third week, my skin really wanted to get dry, cracked and flaky again, but never fully did. Though I could see it starting to.I believe this product could work for those whose fungal problem is new and fresh. I've been struggling with mine for around 20 years and an infection that long established isn't going to go down easily or without a fight. I highly recommend using this product in tandem with other products like Purely Northwest Antifungal wash or rubbing alcohol. Rubbing Alcohol will burn when applied, but that was the only thing that worked for me for a long time. After years of treating with 92% rubbing alcohol, I foolishly thought that I could get away just 50% alcohol. I was wrong. And now, no alcohol on it's own can handle this problem for me, but I digress. If your infection is new, within a few weeks, maybe even a few months, this product could certainly help you. There is hope:The last time I heavily researched antifungal treatments, both prescription and home remedies, was at least 6 or more years ago. Within the last decade a plethora of new research and information has erupted and flooded the internet. As I began to search for things I hadn't yet tried after my disappointing experience with REPARA, I came across several people suggesting the use of cold pressed, unrefined, extra virgin, organic coconut oil. At first I ignored it. But as I continued to browse forum thread after forum thread, and webpage after webpage that suggested this, I figured I still had nothing to lose and gave it a shot. I bought Nutiva virgin coconut oil, cold pressed and unrefined right here on Amazon. It was surprisingly cheap, shipped quickly and arrived the next day despite the fact I ordered two day shipping. I've been using Coconut Oil for roughly 5 days now, and I cannot express how amazing my experience has been with it. I noticed an improvement almost immediately. The stuff smells good and is extremely soothing when applied. It cleared up my flaky skin that same day. By the second day, only applying twice per day (morning and night)there was very little itching, only after I had sweated a bit from working around the house. The discomfort was completely gone, and what itching I did experience was easy to ignore. With each passing day, things only continue to improve. It may seem hard to believe, but it's in the science. The more I educate myself on the hows and whys Coconut oil actually kills fungus, the more I wonder how I didn't hear of this before. Cold pressed virgin Coconut Oil acts as a moisturizer, antibiotic, anti-fungal, antimicrobial, multivitamin, multi-nutrient and and anti-oxidant. Why coconut oil? This wonderful oil is made up of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) that have remarkable healing qualitites, especially when used topically. These MCFAs, when broken down either by stomach acids, salivary enzymes or beneficial bacteria on the skin, are converted to free fatty acids that destroy harmful bacteria, parasites, fungi and even viruses. Any pathogen with a lipid coated cell wall (Like fungus) has no chance against coconut oil. They simply dissolve and die as soon as they contact the free fatty acids. It was recommended to me to take at least 4-6 tablespoons of coconut oil orally at least once per day, since fungal problems typically start internally. The oil has a light coconut taste. Personally, I've never liked eating anything coconut flavored, but this stuff is fine. It actually tastes pretty good. I started out applying it any time I felt an itch. By the third day I was only applying it morning and night before bed. Today, I've only applied it once and I'm fine. Compare that to applying Rubbing Alcohol dozens of times per day, or Repara 3 times per day to get minimal healing at best, and it's a god send. I get to focus more of my energy on my work and my family instead of treating my fungus.Overall, the best thing about buying REPARA is that it lead me to educate myself about Candida, the yeast that causes jock it and other fungal/skin problems. I highly recommend anyone struggling with a fungal issue to try Coconut Oil. But don't stop there. Educate yourself on this problem. Try to figure out what you need to do to get on the road to healing. Candida related fungal problems never completely go away, but there are things you can do to keep them in check. There is a great book here on Amazon called Living Candida-Free: 100 Recipes and a 3-Stage Program to Restore Your Health and Vitality that is worth looking in to, if you're like me and have struggled with this for years. But there are plenty of other online resources you don't have to buy that you may find beneficial.Thank you for reading. I hope this review has been helpful.
Not as effective
March 9, 2015
Not as effective as other anti-fungal creams. For me I think some effective ingredients work better than others. Usually after 2-3 applications of a cream my condition clears up pretty well, but with this particular cream it stuck around for awhile longer.

Poor results for tinea versicolor and candidiasis
March 20, 2016
I did NOT receive a discount for this product. I purchased it at full price. I have tinea versicolor and have been trying to find OTC products to treat it instead of having to get prescription Ketoconazole from my doctor each time it resurfaces. I decided to try this product to see if it would work. I also had a mild case of candidiasis between my breasts, and I hoped this would help since it had pretty favorable reviews. The tinea versicolor rash was on the upper part of my chest near my neck and a small spot on my face below the corner of my lip. The cream is very thick and takes a while to rub in.I used this after showering and exfoliating continuously for about 3 weeks. This product did not alleviate or clear up the tinea versicolor nor the candidiasis. As a matter of fact, they both got worse over the 3 weeks, worse than I had ever experienced of either rash. My tinea versicolor rash appears darker than my skin color and in noticeable places, so I try to catch it before it gets too out of control. The itching and cracking of my skin from the candidiasis became worse and the tinea versicolor was spreading rapidly, so I stopped using the product. At this point, I had to get a prescription from my doctor because both rashes had gotten so much worse. I was very disappointed in this cream. I can't actually say it CAUSED the rashes to get worse, but it didn't alleviate any of the symptoms, and these rashes have NEVER gotten so bad so quickly even when I don't use anything to treat them.I gave the rest of the cream to my brother who suffers from athlete's foot hoping it might work for him. This is the only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1. While he said the cream didn't completely clear up his athlete's foot, it did alleviate the itching and burning while he used it. He also used it with another product, so I'm not sure how accurate his assessment is, but he did say he was satisfied with it soothing the itching and burning of athlete's foot.
