Longer cables for a corner desk
March 24, 2017
My wife has a corner desk that the original cords were too short to fish around. Ordered these for her Dell monitors and it worked perfectly!

These cables work great. I am moving my computer to the top of the hutch attached to my desk and needed some extra length on all of my cables. I ordered this one since it gave me more length than the standard ones that I already have laying around. Both ends fit nice and firmly into their respective plugs and I have had no problems with them what so ever. Highly recommend these cables if you are needing some.
DVI MtoM Cable
March 1, 2014
I haven't even taken it out of the package yet, but it appears to be as advertised. It has all the pins required to be a dual DVI and the cable is pretty thick as I would expect from a Dual DVI. When I get around to using it, if there are any problems I will update my post. Shipping was fast too.
Does the trick!
October 17, 2013
Great value and works as promised. The extra length is appreciated. You know what Amazon. If I can say what I need to say in less words than your prescribed length restrictions, so be it. (this does not reflect on the product, just my annoyance at having to write 9 more words when I was done).
High Quality, excellent results
October 17, 2012
I purchased this product after ordering a slightly longer competing cable that turned out to be defective. Whereas the other cable brought immediate concerns coming out of the box, this one inspired confidence that was not misplaced. Adequate insulation (avoiding interference), sturdy connectors that seat well, and at least the impression of high gauge conductors turned into just what I expected: a solid connection at both ends and an immediately working solid connection between monitor and computer. After the previous poor quality cable, this was cable bliss.EDIT: I note that other reviewers are indicating issues with running Dual-Link and high resolution. I am running with 2560x1600 with ZERO issue - it was simple connect and go.

Makes me feel gangsta
February 18, 2014
No idea what this cable connects, but it looks awesome on my desk. All gold and whatnot.Kidding! I have it connecting my Macbook and a monitor. I had to get a little dongle thingy for the Mac anyway, so whatever. The best part tho is the gold coating. It makes me feel gangsta! Like, I would totally get a full grill of gold caps on my teeth, but since i have this gold coated DVI cable, I'm good.
Works Fine
October 25, 2013
Had to get this cable when I upgraded my Graphics Card and the previous DVI didn't fit. What more to say about this than that it works. It appears to be gold plated which is usually a premium feature, and it has the beads on the cords (I guess they are called Ferrite Chokes) to dissipate magnetic interference, or something. So, 2 premium features at about 1/3-1/4 the cost of an identical cable at RadioShack or Best Buy (I know because I bought one from RadioShack while I waited for this one to arrive, and then promptly returned it). That's a win.P.S. Some people are saying that it's not actually a Dual Link, I have gotten pretty high resolutions out of this but don't remember exactly off hand if they are in the DL range. But if your graphics card supports those resolutions chances are it also has an HDMI slot, and I would recommend just using an HDMI cable, no?
HDMI cable
April 15, 2013
This ten foot cable is more than adequate for most needs. It carries the full spectrum of audio and video, and with gold plated connections give the high assurance of a positive flow of data, with minimum degradation. The price is nice. You may find a cheaper link, but beware of those. Cables are one of the weaker links in networking. This cable is backed by Amazon and the MFG. I have three and they all are great value. Use for connection of monitor to computer (if you have the HDMI slot or an adapter), or connect your players (audio or video) to a device with HDMI receptacle. If you have an older vid card, or monitor you may need the adapter of HDMI to the 15 pin D-link. Those are cheap and commonly available. The value is very good.

Monitor Cables:
March 13, 2015
Have had NO problem with these cables other than the screws. DO NOT tighten them too tight, as they may come off.
Like other reviews have said cable is not the same as the one in the picture.
November 13, 2014
This cable works and looks just fine however it is not the same cable as in the picture. The one I received came without the chokes (the little cylinder looking things on the cable) not a big deal because it is used for a supplementary 1080p office monitor and works just fine for that resolution. So if you are looking for something to drive a better display you may want to look into something else.
Slightly damaged and bulky
January 25, 2013
Pros:PriceWorksLongCons:Very bulky. Larger than your average DVI cable.Arrived with slight damage. The DVI connection was bent just enough that it couldn't be plugged in. I was able to bend it back enough to make it fit. None the less, the item arrived damaged.Ended up not being able to use it after all due to poor placement of the DVI connection on the back of my monitor. No fault of the cable I ordered.
Good cable when it worked, failed under light use
July 17, 2012
This is a pretty standard cable. It did the job just fine for about two years, but recently it's begun showing only one of the color channels at a time (red, green or blue) unless it's positioned just right. It's only seen light use; the only stress it's had is being disconnected a few times when I've needed to move my desktop. This is less that I'd expect from a cable at this price.Unlike some other reviewers', mine is genuine dual-link. I'd recommend a shorter length unless 10' is necessary, however, as the cable is quite thick and stiff and does not easily coil and tuck away in a tidy manner.
acceptable cable, but not as pictured
October 25, 2011
The picture does not depict the cable I received. I purchased this cable specifically because it is pictured with the ferrite chokes and thinner cable diameter. I don't like the thicker cables and prefer the compromise of having the chokes. Disappointingly, what I received was a thick cable with no chokes. It's a fine cable and the picture is otherwise correct, but if you're wanting this for the smaller diameter, look elsewhere. This is one of the thick and inflexible ones.On the other hand, if you're wanting the thicker cable (I presume the larger diameter contains additional shielding) then this is the one for you. It shows no signs of being a cheap cable and is probably well made. Aside from the non-white connectors (making it easier to overlook when looking for a DVI cable in a box of assorted cables) I have no other complaints about it at all. With an updated picture and description, this item would get 5 stars from me. The seller still loses major points for apparently not caring about changing stock, and for having a description which is inadequate to counter the inaccurate picture. Actually, it's inadequate for just about any use I can think of.EDIT:It seems a subsequent reviewer has received a cable with ferrite chokes only a few weeks after I received mine. I guess you're rolling the dice if you order this one. This is, of course, very common among cable suppliers. It's certainly no reason to waste your money on Monster or Belkin cables, though. Monoprice should be your first stop for any cable if you don't mind the delay and cost of shipping, but if you're cable shopping on Amazon due to Prime then by all means roll the dice on this one. There is no problem with quality here - only with regularity.

3m (9ft 10inchs ) not 10ft
February 5, 2017
The cable I received was 3m, not 10ft I suppose you get what you pay for (I paid $3), I needed those extra 2 inches to reach from my PC to my secondary monitor
No ferrite's
October 9, 2015
Normally, I don't review cable and accessories. On this one however, I want to write a few words. This may or may not happen in general. The image that the seller provides shows ferrite filters on each end.Because of this image I selected this cable, aside the fact that it is 10 feet long. With a 10 foot long antenna, one can get some elements out of the frequency spectrum to radiate off of it.In other words, this cable can cause harmful radiation to other electronic devices, if the signals harmonics aren't properly suppressed. The two star rating is, because the cable I received, does not have the ferrite's.Yet, I opted to keep the cable and don't send it back, because of shipping rates that can easily reach the value of this cable.Any high speed data cable should have Harmonic suppressors installed.Ohhh, by the way this cable doesn't support DVI-D speeds. I believe the specification is 50-75Hz Vertical and whatever Horizontal goes with that.
Bad coloring.
February 25, 2015
The product itself seem swell built, but it delivers poor video quality. The image is sharp and clear but the colors are faded. I thought maybe it was my monitor so I swapped and the same effect. Just to be sure I placed it on another pc with another monitor and again muted/faded colors. I got more vibrant colors with the VGA. I have since swapped to HDMI.
Poor Design, Poor Construction, Poor Execution.
February 17, 2015
The cable is very poorly designed. The ends are unnecessarily big and bulky. As a result you cannot plug in this cable side by side with another cable and will have problems going into many monitors such as the Dells where space and or curvature is pretty tight. The cable itself is big an still to give the illusion of solid construction but when I cut it open I saw this was not the case. Wires are thin and flimsy, the insulation isn't thick, just stiff and inflexible. This will lead ot breakage. And there is too much air inside the wire channel.Terrible cables.Ill go with Monoprice or Basics next time.
Missing locks on one end.
February 12, 2014
Item was missing the two pins on the side to secure it to the port on one of the ends. I pulled some locks off a similar dvi to HDMI cable I had to use it and the picture was just static. Way too much trouble for just a cable, the cheap one that came with my 1440p monitor works fine except for the fact that it's only 4 ft long.Extremely dissapointed avoid buying this cable!

Stay away -- single link cable.
August 27, 2017
As advertised. Would buy again.Updated review, changed from 5 star to 1 star. Even though this uses dual link DVI connectors, it is _not_ a dual link cable. It doesn't support 144hz over DVI and now I need to buy a new cable. Stay away.

July 14, 2016
Dreadful product; won't actually support a 2460x1440 monitor as a true DVI-D cable should This is likely because there's not enough copper in it -- the cord is much thinner than my DVI-D cables that work. Go with this one instead and you won't regret it if you need 1440p: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GZQWHM2
Didn't work from first use
January 9, 2016
The item looks physically alright but did not work from first use. I have uploaded pictures of what the video quality looks like from this cable. I am very disappointed that I need to make a trip to the post office just to return a $7 cable that should really have no problems.
My current cable is the one that came with my ASUS VG248QE which is only like 3-4 foot long
December 10, 2015
So this cable was delivered today. My current cable is the one that came with my ASUS VG248QE which is only like 3-4 foot long. I recently purchased a X34 Predator and needed to move this monitor farther away so I ordered it. When i pluged it into my GTX980 it instantly let me know it was the wrong cable and the resolution was like a potatoe. I tried to change the resolution and it would not allow me and kept the box in the middle of the screen stating it was the wrong cable. I am in the process of returning it now and will update as it folds out. If you look through the reviews and questions I am not the only one who has had trouble with this cable. I think I would steer clear of this brand and fork out a few extra bucks. I ordered another from a seller named "Cable Matters" Hopefully the next one will do the trick as I'd love to get my setup fixed!

October 14, 2015
The cables work for I guess the purpose they are made for -- they deliver a signal and the picture was ok. I bought mine from ConnectWise and they showed up without the filters -- as another guy mentioned in his review. As far as thick vs thin or flexible vs non-flexible cables -- these were pretty flexible cables -- but they were a little bit stiff from what I recall. They are currently boxed up and getting ready to be shipped back. I ordered a different brand which has a very similar name as this brand. The reason why I bought these to begin with was I thought I was buying the other brand which I have been happy with previous purchases. I will never purchase this brand in the future -- definitely learned my lesson on this one.
Won't Function at 2560x1600 Resolution
March 27, 2012
It would not allow my 30" DoubleSight monitor to show 2560x1600 resolution. As soon as I swapped to another cable by another company, the monitor displayed 2560x1600 perfectly.
