Some Fine DVI Cables
May 24, 2017
They do what they're supposed to as DVI cables. That being said, while I expected them to work, I didn't expect the kind of build quality that I would get with these. Metal connectors with gold-plated contacts, as well as a thick stress-relieved cable are all nice bonuses to have. Not to mention, they seat well in my GPU and above all, look very nice. I like these a lot.
Better than Amazon Basics
May 11, 2017
This is a review of the ten foot cable. Cables are pretty boring things, but I felt compelled to write this review simply to highlight how much better the BlueRigger cable is than the Amazon Basics one. The BlueRigger is very light-weight and malleable, and does not have bulbous portions a few inches apart from the DVI heads. This means it will fit more easily through tight spaces and is easier in general to position. The Amazon Basics cable has very thick bulbs and is very stiff. Perhaps those bulbs are important and add to the longevity of the cable, but I'll only believe that if my BlueRigger fails prematurely, and will leave an update here if that does occur.
It Really Is A Dual-Link Cable!
December 8, 2016
Not wanting to risk buying a dual-link cable that wouldn't actually be "dual-link," I read the reviews here on Amazon carefully. I am very pleased to report that this BlueRigger DVI Male to DVI Male Digital Dual-Link Cable (10 feet) allows for full resolution on my NEC MultiSync PA302W (2560x1600) monitor driven by a NVIDIA QUADRO K5000 (for Mac) video card. (For the curious, I use the two DisplayPort connections on the video card to drive two NEC MultiSync EA244UHD monitors at 3840x2160 resolutions, hence the need for the dual-link cable.) The monitor is in use about 16 hours per day. Only had the cable attached for 5 days since delivery, however, the cable passed the dual-link signals flawlessly from the moment I restarted the computer after making the easy connections (the male fittings are well made and connected snuggly but without effort). Quite relieved that I didn't have to go through a number of cable-returns with Amazon until finding the right one for my system. Highly recommend. (Oh, I decided to write a review because others took the time to do write-ups of their experiences, which helped me have a similarly good outcome. Thanks!)
Good cable, just the right length
April 3, 2015
For the past 27 years I've use a CRT monitor, it finally flickered its last picture; I replaced it with a low end LED monitor.. The CRT was VGA only, but the new monitor has HDMI and DVI. So I decided to look into alternatives to VGA. I settled on DVI as first tryout. I needed a short (3 feet or so) cable. It was all plug and play, swapped out the vga and plugged in the dvi. No problem. The length is perfect for my setup. Picture resolution and color and sound are good. Cable connected solidly with both the computer and monitor.ports.
Everyone's positive review is true.

Bought a new monitor with my first DVI hookup. Had it hooked up to VGA when I got it until I could get a DVI cable sent to me. I needed a 10 foot as my CPU is sort of around the corner from my monitor. Everyone raved about this item so I ordered on Friday, May 16 with an Amazon Prime delivery date of May 19. Item arrived on May 17! Shut off the computer, unplugged the old VGA cable and plugged this new one in. Sometimes you can get cables where the pins won't screw all the way in. Not this one. All the pins correctly totally screwed in. Turned the computer back on and it instantly recognized the new DVI connection (I have Windows XP). My Nvidia Graphics card (GT220) is capable of HD and the Nvidia control panel had immediately updated itself with the new information. Picture is perfect. Now I realize I need new glasses! What everyone else says is true - this is a first rate product.
Exactly what I needed
May 22, 2013
I was worried prior to purchasing that this cable would not be a dual link cable as some other reviewers had stated it was not. I risked it anyway as the price was great. I needed a longer DVI cable for my desk setup and I play allot of games and also recently have gotten into Nvidia 3d vision 2 so i watch 3d movies etc. This is in fact a dual link dvi cable, a DVI-D Dual link to be exact. The metal ends are very nice. I am using this cable with my Asus-VG248Q 144hz monitor and it works great. the cable length is great for what I needed and the cable seems to be strong and durable. Overall i would highly recommend this cable for anyone needing one of this length or just in general

just put the cable on and am so glad I ordered a new cable. My picture is clearer than my very old cable was allowing. Don't know why I didn't change when I got a new monitor. Thanks for your quick service and for describing the product well enough for me to find a cable that would fit my machines! :)

Blue Rigger cables great - Fulfillment by Amazon not so much
February 11, 2017
I keep ordering Blue Rigger cables because they are well built and more than fit for purpose. However, my last order of a Blue Rigger cable has left me more than a bit disgruntled.I'm not unhappy with the seller, Blue Rigger. Very unhappy with Amazon Fulfillment who sent me the wrong length cable (6ft instead of 15ft). I'll keep the cable as I will eventually use it, but it did not fulfill my immediate requirement, and I don't like overpaying for a shorter than ordered cable with one-day shipping fees to boot. I've re-ordered the cable I need and hopefully this time Amazon will pull their thumb out and send the right one. And Amazon should not punish Blue Rigger for Amazon's screw up.

I'm very happy with these DVI-DVI cables; I bought two. They arrived in great condition, and they are well made. The picture is sharp and has no problems. The cables are a bit thick and get in the way if you don't have that much room for them behind the screen or the desk. On the other hand, the thinner DVI-DVI cables I've had in the past weren't made very well, and didn't last very long. This was a good purchase.
It feels like the screw is going off center
September 24, 2015
One issue, on both ends of the cable I had an issue with one of the screws not fitting correctly into the mount. Its not a large issues I just can't screw it in as far as I should be able to without risking damaging my mounting. It feels like the screw is going off center. I do know how to put a screw into a mount and I do not have this issue with other cables.Other than that it works just as it should, the packaging was good, and I would have to hunt for other nice things to say. Its a long cable that does its job. It also looks like it cost far more than it does and similar cables found at the store cost over $40 for shorter cables... I looked. $40+ at Bestbuy, Target, Walmart (in store) for a 10 foot cable...
great cable for the money
June 28, 2015
built well, definitely an actual DVI-D dual link cable, a little more flexible than the included DVI-D cable that came with my monitor. nice aluminum plug covers rather than the usual rubber/plastic. This cable was a little more difficult to plug in than other DVI cables i have owned, maybe the pin size or thickness is a little less precise but nothing that would cause a problem from what i can tell. Heck for the price this really is your best bet. Also for the longest option they have here in amazon, remember that DVI integrity is affected by the length of the cable and going the max length or more may require a signal booster, not saying you will just reminding you that longer isn't always better and length can cause signal problems.
Bluerigger stands behind their product
May 20, 2014
I bought 2 of these cables back in March 2014. One worked great. The other intermittently failed. Appeared to be a QC problem. My initial review was 1 star due to this situation. Although I didn't notice it until the other cable fully failed, Bluerigger had responded to my initial review to provided contact info for correcting the situation. I wrote to them and explained the problem and they quickly shipped replacement cables. Both of them are working upon initial installation. I have updated their rating to 4 stars for now based on their prompt attention to the problem. If they work reliably for a year, I will upgrade the rating to 5 stars. It is refreshing that a company stands behind their product.

July 23, 2017
Was only getting 60hz out of my 144hz monitor because I was using a DVI single link cable the monitor came with that didn't support 144hz. I started using the DisplayPort cable that came with the monitor and it gave me 144hz, but the picture wasn't as clear as when I was using the other DVI cable, so I purchased this cable, a DVI-d dual link capable of 144hz, plug it into my monitor and lo and behold, it doesn't support 144hz.... To confirm, I did receive a 24+1 DVI-d dual link cable, but for whatever reason it isn't supporting 144hz. Maybe the cable I received is defective, I don't know, just beware of that when purchasing this for the same reason I did.
Cheap Chinese crap
December 13, 2014
I eventually got this cord to work. If you are looking at the connector pins, on mine the group of pins were set too low and wouldn't fit into my monitor. I got a pair of plyers and had to bend the metal ring around the pins back to fit the connection.
trouble with the cable fasteners
September 16, 2014
I had some difficulty with the line up and screwing in of the cable fasteners, I just gave up on one, seems the rest will hold the cable in place. Had no problem with my shorter cable with this issue.
Curious Physical Connection Issue
July 5, 2014
Bought the 15ft version - of all the DVI cables I have ever bought this is the first that I have ever had trouble getting to fit a standard DVI socket. Both a Samsung and ASUS monitor and an EVGA 760GTX all had trouble getting the mounting screws to secure (either the plug won't seat nicely or the mounting screws too short - uncertain).. the plugs just didn't seem to fit well at all. However the cable performs well - the 15ft a little excessive as it turns out but the extra play welcomed.Product rated lower for curious mounting issue..

Solid Cable but images of the product are not accurate.
September 22, 2017
Solid cable, wire is decently thick and connects great to my monitor and graphics card. It supports 1080p 144hz just fine. However, the product images are not entirely accurate. In the images of the product it shows the base of the dvi-d cable is made of some type of metal finish, that is not the case atleast for the 10ft version. The 10ft version is made of some cheap plastic which is a bit dissapointing.
Check right after receiving. Paid for 15 feet got 6 feet.

Cable seems fine, but they just slapped a 15 feet sticker on top of 6 foot cable sticker and called it good. Didn't get to rewiring until now and it's too late to return. I needed to replace 6 foot cables I already had with 15 I ordered. Now sitting here with extra cables I don't need. Wasted $20. Nice.

I have about 20 of these, and I'd say about half of them have digital dvi noise on them when passing 1920x1080@60. I've tested them on the same inputs/outputs has the really thick professional cables and those work when these don't. Obviously, the consistency in quality is not there.

Purchased based upon good reviews and decent price. Totally disappointed. Defective cable and unfortunately for me, if figured it out outside of the return window so I'm stuck. Had intermittent video cut-outs (screen goes black, then comes back). Thought it had to be something in the settings on the computer. Messed around, messed around. Went back to a VGA while I researched it. Tried again. Still having problems. Finally purchased a new cable (Amazon Basic) - problems gone. Can't recommend the BlueRigger.

I received this cable and it was DOA. after a little research I found out that there are companies that make a dvi cable that 'looks' like a dual link dvi cable ( by having pins in row 4 and 5 that are just pins with no wire connecting them). So, I got out my handy ohm meter and this cable is in fact a dual link dvi cable. only problem is mine had 2 dead pins that had no continuity. So BlueRigger gets 1 star because the cable was DOA.here's a link to help:www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lwwO-eNJPc
