YOU'LL LOVE THIS ONE!
September 23, 2017
BE SURE TO DO THE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS WHILE SETTING UP. THIS GADGET DOES SO MUCH MORE THAN MY PREVIOUSNUVI. I LIKE THE BIGGER SCREEN TOO. ALSO, YOU PROGRAM YOUR OWN ROUTES AND STORE THEM FOR FUTURE USE.IT ALSO LETS YOU KNOW ABOUT OTHER SERVICES ALONG THE WAY. THE MORE I USE IT, THE MORE I LIKE IT. YOU WILL TOO!I BOUGHT THE REFURBISHED MODE.....IT CAME, AND IT LOOKS JUST LIKE NEW.... WORTH THE PRICE!
great GPS -67LMT
September 22, 2017
NUVI 67LMT- Amazing 6" screen for under $100. Unit is solid and functions 100% of the time. no glitches, reboots or freeze-ups. battery life is not so good but i rarely ever use it outside the car and 12v power. LOVE IT!!!Love the easy to follow pictures for lane changes and ramp position. Easy to customize. Thanks Garmin!!Also love the free map updates and traffic
Great deal on an excellent product
August 8, 2017
Fantastic. It looked new, and performed better than my old Nuvi 1300. Excellent value for exactly what I needed. If it can get you through Houston traffic and it's myriad road construction and closed exits, I'm sure it can get you just about anywhere. It found a way around a total of 7 (yes, 7 road closings and Interstate detours) quickly. I would have been stressed and completely lost without it.
Excellent GPS for Road Trips and Scenic Routes
April 5, 2017
Best GPS I've ever had. This is my second Garmin Nuvi GPS (the first one was stolen - at least someone else is enjoying it too!) and I have yet to find a real issue with it. I love that it somehow knows the speed limit on little back roads where I never saw a sign. It's probably helped me avoid a dozen speeding tickets by now.The only problem I have is that the suction cup tends to fall off my windshield overnight. Not the fault of the GPS itself, although still mildly annoying at times. Also love that I can tell it to calculate by shortest time or shortest distance (or a few other options that I don't use so much) because I always know that the Shortest Distance route is going to be an adventure (mostly because I also tell it to "avoid highways." :DBuy it. You'll love it.
Very Satisfied

Fast delivery , great product and a great price. I am so happy that I am not trying to use my cell phone as a GPS anymore. One of the great features I did not know about surprised me yesterday. The Garmin started beeping. When I looked at the Nuvi I realized there was an upcoming school zone and I was being alerted. Great Feature.
Garmon 6 inch is big hit.
May 19, 2015
Nothing negative at all! I had one that was about 5 years old and there were 4 or 5 things that I wished they would improve upon and it's like Garman read my mind. Everything is perfect with this one. I especially like the larger screen, school zone warnings, easy labeling sites, and split screen at exits.

Good GPS
June 9, 2017
Nice GPS. Used it for our recent 7,700 mile cross country road trip. Updated maps the week before we left. I estimate maps were 98% correct. On one occasion, it guided us off course for a 10 minute detour, otherwise, I like it. Occasionally, it beeps which we haven't figured out why, I guess I'll have to read the on-line User Manual.
Refurbished nuvi 57 LMT, so far, so good
May 20, 2017
Refurbished, and works great so far. Easier to enter addresses than the old model (nuvi 1100), larger screen. It tells me the speed limit, alerts me to school zones. Have not yet received notices about traffic. Instructions to turn arrive just before the intersection ... hmmm, could be sooner. So far, so good.
Works well, but maps not quite as up-to-date as other on-line maps
May 5, 2017
Haven't yet taken it on the road (just a few test runs locally). Loaded latest update/maps, and it seems to work well, BUT doesn't seem to be quite as up-to-date as Google Maps. Didn't recognize/find some addresses I tried to pull up that Google had no trouble finding. (2 newer housing additions near Indy - found roads but not street address- and 1 in rural TN that has been around for years it couldn't find at all). For the whimsical people out there, Garmin no longer offers alternative vehicle icons or voices, but I did find a website that offers over 1000 alternate vehicle icons that can be downloaded to Garmin devices: vehiclesforgarminnuvi.com
Upgraded my Garmin
April 30, 2017
I've been using a Garmin navigator in my car for years, but decided to upgrade to new Garmin technology since the 65LM (reconditioned) with its 6" screen was less than one hundred dollars. The unit arrived in perfect condition with all cables. My old 4" screen was useless, the new 6" screen is much better, the voice is better, satellite acquision is faster. I especially like having the arrival time in the lower right hand corner (this can be changed). Also nice is hitting the upper left corner allows the complete route to the destination to be shown. The 65LM fit on my old Garmin beanbag mount. One annoyance that still exists is if skip a turn, you get an nearly endless series of spoken messages to take the next turn, however, at least the annoying "recalculating" is largely gone. I wish there was a mute function to stop this, but alas the only way I see to do it is hit the power button to put the unit asleep. However, the endless "recalculating"I've been playing with options. I started with restaurants, gas stations, etc displayed on screen all the time, but soon found the screen was so cluttered (at least near a city) that I couldn't see the route, so I turned this off. I experimented with 'North UP', but found on a quick glance I could not tell which way the car was pointing because the on screen car symbol is too symmetrical, so I am back to Track Up.One continuing annoyance is that Recently found list fills up too easily with junk addresses. I gather from the online manual there is a way to delete an individual entry, but it is not intuitive, and I haven't yet been able to do this. There's lots of spare memory, so downloaded the online manual (.pdf) onto the LM65. Unfortunately .pdf files are not supported, and I don't see anyway to access the manual.-------------------(update) For a long time I used the 'Recently found' list for my addresses, but this list has gradually filled up with junk, so I put a lot of time into trying to delete individually entries. By fooling around I was able to delete one or two, but I couldn't delete a lot of them and in doing this I inadvertently added new addresses making the problem worse. .I've now given up trying to use the 'Recently found' list, but I have a work around. Pull your address from the 'Saved' list. The advantage of the 'Saved' list over the 'Recently found' list is that it will have far less junk, because it will only have address that you (not Garmin) have specifically saved. To populate my Saved list, which was empty, I called up the addresses in 'Recently found' that I wanted to keep and individually Saved them. ("i" leads to Save button.) I then deleted all the entries in the 'Recently found' list. New addresses will automatically be entered by Garmin into the 'Recently found' list, so periodically those I want to keep I can easily move into my 'Saved' list.

Very nice device, but the USB charger won't work on it. It says "Please use the charger that came with your device". I imagine, I'm going to have to buy another charger for it.

Just Okay
September 20, 2017
I spent a hour just doing updated before i even use this. New or refurbished to new you would think that wouldn't be necessary. I've only used it on one trip to San Antonio but it did not help in identifying what lane to be in for merges and interchanges. Maybe it was because of all the over lapping roads in that area. Its did finely get me to my hotel so it ok but not great.

September 7, 2017
The refurbished Garmin is not updated when it arrives. Mine did not give me any traffic updates, school zone updates, or construction zone warnings when I used it the first time. It did get me from point A to point B during the first trip. I let it sit unused for about a month after my purchase and first trip. I tried to use it later and it wasn't even able to connect to the satellites to determine my current location, let alone tell me how to navigate me trip. So far, the refurbished item has given me more trouble than saving the $20-40 was worth. I think I should have just bought a new one, to be honest.

August 31, 2017
Even fully updated this particular unit wasn't completely correct on where roads were, road names, etc. Also, seems like it doesn't take the fastest route (compared to iPhone maps GPS). I like using it for as a backup in conjunction with my phone and to have the map up as I drive along. Bought refurbished so it wasn't too expensive and looks just like it's brand new.
Annex Canada to North America?
May 30, 2017
I only gave 3 stars because I assumed North America meant the whole continent like South America but I guess Canada is not part of the North American continent !The delivery was excellent, the unit appears to work well for 49 states.I had to purchase a data cable because the cable that came with it would not connect to Garmin Express.I purchased a nuvi 68LM which includes Canada as part of North America.

May 19, 2017
It navigates fine. But there is no intuitive/clear/easy way to save your current location into your favorites. There is no icon for this anywhere. Turns out that the only way to save your current location (that I have found) is to not just touch the car on the map, but touch the hood of the car on the map. It can be MADDENING trying to simply save your current location. As this is a function that is one of the most used, I give it 3 stars.

lost some great fetures
May 6, 2017
I replaced my Garmin 1450 and was really disappointed with this. Right out of the package it feels very cheap. Made with a very smooth plastic, no weight to it at all. the 1450 had a grip surface and had some weight to it. The 57lmt lost some great features. Customization is gone. You can't chose what buttons to appear. like peed, how many miles to go, time to arrive. Instead the buttons are locked on the screen and you can not change them. Another big downgrade, you can not look up by zip code. It starts with house number, street. I get the "not found" result a lot. The cord to connect to the computer is specifically for this unit. It is a garmin cord and none other will work. A good change is the speed of the gps. I don't have to wait for the "redirecting." If you miss a step it instantly redirects without having to wait. The four square feature will show you virtually anything around you without needing to type in anything specific. However I will not use this feature a lot. While on a trip I typically do not look for a café, coffee shop, barber, or antique store. It is very thorough. I looked up the 1450 and it was on ebay in "almost new condition for under $50. Thought about returning this and buy the 1450 again but I hate going through a return/refund process and I needed to just move on from the old to the new

Refurbished? Yeah right! Smells like cigarette smoke.
September 8, 2016
Opened up the gps and i wanted to die. It smelled so bad of cigarette smoke it made my nose run. I am a non smoker and you can smell it strong. I was doing an update on it with my computer and shortley after the room smelled like cigarette smoke and my hands. Wow. Horrible

September 20, 2015
The display is large (that's why I bought it) and the new software appears to be more user friendly. Please remember that it does NOT cover Canada. Even when the battery is fully charged, sometimes it will not turn on without the power adapter being attached. I have had it for about three months and used it for three long trips. It died today while driving back from NYC. I could not cajole it to turn on at all. It's a very poor and unreliable product compared to older Garmins that I used in the past.

The previous method of attaching and detaching the GPS to the windshield holder was easily done with one hand. It clicked right into place. I detached it and reattached the device many times while driving. The previous design provided two notches at the bottom of the device that were easily aligned by feel with the holder. Then you just tipped the device toward the windshield and it snapped in place. The new design requires me to press the device hard against a ball on the holder. It is impossible to press the device against the windshield and simultaneously operate the release. It takes two hands. I am not happy with that change. All other features of the device are fine. I am surprised and disappointed with this change to an otherwise fine product.
Drained car battery leaving me stranded (until AAA showed up)

Does not shut off until your car battery is dead. Do not leave plugged in!!!! Very disappointing, I found no settings for auto shutoff and it has no internal battery, apparently.

May 31, 2016
The touch screen stopped working last month for no apparent reason. It is unusable now. Due to being a month outside the return policy, I am not able to ask for a replacement or refund. Don't buy this. Next time I will not buy a refurbished model.
Broke within the first 3 months, would not turn on.
November 17, 2015
Edit: 3 months after initial purchase device would no longer turn on. I contacted the company and was informed it's outside of their warranty period and I should contact Garmin, this was a refurbished device. I no longer recommend purchasing from this company.
