Bought it for my son for a international trip. Good product.

I am pleased with this product. It's light weight but well made; the belt's profile is thin and lies flat against the body and money and credit cards fit comfortably and securely into the zipped compartments. The belt comes with a passport protector and three credit card blocking sleeves, which I haven't used yet; however, I'm happy that those items were included. There is a snap-together buckle to keep the money belt taunt on the waist. My only reservation about the buckle is that it may be vulnerable to accidental unbuckling by users in a hurry to access their money. It might be better to have a more traditional belt buckle design that couldn't accidentally come unbuckled. Traveled with this belt to Iceland, France and Philadelphia. It does what it's supposed to do and it's not uncomfortable to wear.

My husband and I recently traveled to Italy. He needed a money belt while touring in Rome. He wore the belt and it held both of our passports (though snug), credit cards and money. It was comfortable and our money, credit cards and passports were secure. We felt secure using the RFID blocking sleeves for our credit cards. The only negative is that it is difficult to get to your money and cards. It appears that you are taking off your clothes when you try to get to your money. But the only way to have security of your items is with this belt.We won't ever travel again without it.

This is one of the VERY BEST items that I have purchased in a long while ~ the TSA agents at the airport were quite taken with it ~ said it was absolutely skimmer proof ~ congratulated me on being wise enough to buy it ~ although some comments suggested it was bulky, I found it to be flat and comfortable under any and all clothing even a slinky dress. SO CONVENIENT TO HAVE CARDS, PASSPORT, AND CASH all in one easily accessible spot!I intend to buy one for my daughter who travels often and is always groping for her purse.BUY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT BUT THE BAD GUYS WON'T!

There were lots of choices for a new travel money belt, and I shopped a long time. I think this is a good choice. It seems well made, just the right size (some of them are too tall), and has a good closure. I like the double pocket and the fact that it is a blocking fabric to thwart any secret scanning. The security sleeves/envelopes seem of good quality and just the right sizes. I am ready to travel!

Great way to store your extra cash. Great for vacation. It looks like a normal belt so no one will know it's a money belt. Most money belts have a quick connect. This one has a regular belt buckle. So, it would be hard for someone to steal it off of you.

This worked wonderfully for our latest travel. It was nice to know we had a little back up cash in case of emergency or the little mishaps that can happen away from home. Basic, but good quality. The zipper pocket is pretty thin, so you have to fold the money quite I few times to get it to fit.

Arrived a few days after ordering which were the few days before Christmas, but better than that, I made a ridiculous mistake during my order (while I was still wrapped up in the "YESSS! I FOUND EM!" moment) which I caught 'after' I hit "place order." The dread of the impending pain of 'cancel, wait for it to go back on my card, reorder' harshed my "GREAT SCORE!" high. I sent my shamefully embarrassing email & what I didn't expect was customer service to fix my mistake, but they did without the added pain of 10 detailed reports...their reply to my 1st email was a summation of my error (That was cute! I totally deserved it! hehe), a note restating the correct way I meant to place my order, and a note that said my belts will be shipped how I wanted! THAT is an example of IMPECCABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The customer's kind of customer service! I only had the chance to wear 1 of the belts once so far, but no complaints there either!

THIS IS FOR THE BLACK BELT - I wanted to order a brown and a black belt. When you click on the Black option, it was $14.73 with Prime shipping via Amazon from Belt Outlet.. The brown option was from Leatherboss, with $1.15 shipping at $10.63. So they had to be 2 separate orders. I bring this up because I am not sure if I can actually leave 2 separate reviews. Well ... back to the Black Belt - This was well worth the $14.75, It isn't a Coach ( I have several and they're just "OK"), but it is a decent quality. The buckle is fairly sturdy, and the leather is fairly nice.THE BROWN BELT - It came a day after the Black Belt, it was a sharp contrast to the Black one. It looked cheap, and the buckle was definitely not as sturdy as the one on the Black belt..It actually looked a bit flimsy. It was definitely appropriately priced lower than the black belt. I would give the Brown Belt a 3 STAR rating. Maybe a 4 star - it WAS cheaper ( Er .. sorry, less expensive)..UPDATE - Just as well I did it this way - they are considered the same item.I also uploaded 3 photos comparing the black and brown belts I receivedUPDATE 05/23/14 - We just returned from our European trip, both the brown and black belts were used, Both worked equally well, but the black belt is definitely a higher quality than the brown. In BOTH cases, the bills had to be folded "quarterly".(in half length wise and then again).

Based on reviews of another belt, I ordered a belt 2 inches bigger than my pants size (I wear pants size 44, I ordered a 46 belt size). It fits perfectly and matches my other (non-money) belts in size.The belt is only 1-1/4 inch wide, not 1-1/2 inch wide, which is good because my pants only have 1-1/4 inch loops.Money will have to be folded into 3rds to fit into the money compartment. It will hold 2 folded groups of American money bills lengthwise and have 2-4 inches to spare for other things. I tried folding 10 bills in thirds and fitting them in, but couldn't get them in. But I could fold 5 bills into 3rds and fit them in, so I got a total of 10 bills to fit in the money compartment. An estimate of 18-30 bills is too high for American money in my opinion.

Purchased the money belt for a trip into Mexico. Since I would not be using it often, I did not want to spend a lot. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the belt in that it was really very nice. The leather was good and it was well stitched. It is not a fancy belt, but is casual and utilitarian.I folded six bills in half length-wise and put three together. Inserted them into the belt so that there were two lengths of bills (three in each). There was a slight bulge in the belt that could be felt, but was not noticeable when worn. If you use $100 bills, you can carry $600 this way. I did not try more bills, but they would have increased the bulge somewhat. This may not be too noticeable, but I did not need to try the additional bills.Overall, I was quite satisfied with the price and quality.

Haven't worn the belt that much but feels soft and low profile for keeping money and cards close to body.

The pouch is fantastic. The RFID pieces, although I did not check if they actually worked, made great sleeves for a passport and credit cards. However the RFID sleeves have already begun to fall apart after using the passport sleeve for 2 weeks and the credit card ones for 4.If you're just looking for the pouch, you'll be more than satisfied with it's discrete profile and use; the sleeves are a nice bonus. I would not recommend if you're looking for a sleeve to use long term.

Nice belt, wish I could have used it. I ordered my waist size, not the needed belt length.. Ended up with a great belt that will only fit a small framed women or teenager. My bad I guess, I'm not a big belt shopper and just assumed.

Good Belt for it's true use. It is definitely NOT for everyday use. I purchase this to use for an international trip, not wanting to risk possibly losing all my cash. It definitely works as advertised. It is not top notch quality, but a good value for the price. It doesn't have a lot of room, but is adequate for paper money. Not sure a credit card will fit, seems it would be too narrow. The zipper is not very robust, but should hold up to occasional use.

Good belt for the money. I've worn it for work 4 days a week for over two months now. It's not a high quality material and probably won't last longer than a year, but for less than $11, I'm happy with the purchase (and the hidden money option) which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3.

Looks like an ordinary belt, which is what I was going for. The zipper shows through the opposite side a little, but not too noticeable. Sometimes I can get through the metal detectors at the airport and keep the belt on, sometimes not. I don't want to put a wad of cash in it and have to subject it to inspection. Bottom line: I'd get it again.Update 20 Sep 2015: I saw a similar item at Cabelas for 4 times the price. I wore this belt most days for three weeks in Germany and it was perfect. Great product.

I got this belt for my boyfriend to keep some cash in while we are in Europe. The belt looks just like an ordinary belt and doesn't scream "tourist" as so many other security travel belts do. It is nice enough that it can be worn when not traveling as well just as a regular black belt. Obviously the down side to the belt is that you can only fit a few folded up bills. You cannot fit any credit cards or passports obviously, which other money belts like the Eagle Creek money belt can. I think this belt is great to just stow some emergency cash throughout the trip and use another money belt or secure bag to keep the rest of your money in.

Doesn't set well. Moves under clothing and becomes noticeable with the bulge.

My husband got a rub burn mark on his belly from wearing his money belt. Mine was OK and useful for carrying our passports when needed.

Zipper constantly gets stuck. Had to stand at customs for a hot minute trying to get the dam passports out of it. Embarrassing!

Good quality but, to my mind, overpriced.

Belt seems to be much longer than expected. 42" belt is actually a 44" belt. Finish is weak. Surface was scuffed after only a couple of day's use. Materials are somewhat poor quality but the price is very competitive.

Belt looks fine, fit was ok, but the zippered pouch was much smaller that expected. Bills had to be folded over several times (lengthwise) to fit into it. Thank goodness we didn't need to take much cash along, lol.

Not durable over the long run. I have had mine for about 2 years now and now the leather is peeling off around the most used holes. I use it mainly in the cold weather season during work days. This is roughly 7 months/year. So maybe 14 months of weekday use.I leave money in it, but rarely use the zipper so havent had any problems there.It isnt a terrible value, but Im looking to replace it now and will see if there are other options available. If not I would buy another one.

Pretty clever idea, but you have to fold the bills up so tightly, that I didn't find it practical on a recent trip to Brazil and relied instead on the Eagle Creek Undercover Hidden Pocket. At least it still functions as a belt, so for $10 I can live with it. Perhaps a good approach might be to simply fold a larger bil once and put it into this belt for emergencies.

You really have to fold your money a lot of times in order to get it to fit inside the zipper. I used this belt while traveling abroad and managed to mash $800 in hundreds in there. It really can't hold too much cash, definitely not worth putting $20 bills in there. I was traveling with $3,000 and didn't want to leave my cash in the hotel, I ended up getting one of those pouches that you wear on your stomach inside your pants, held a lot more money. The belt was ok quality, didn't break, but it did scratch up easily. It was really inexpensive, I guess it's alright for the money.

The belt itself is pretty good for the price.But the zipper fell apart the 3rd time I used it.If you put more that 3 bills folded thick, the zipper cannot handle the thickness.So, that REALLY limits the number of bills the belt can handle.

RFID blocking folders are good; however, the zipper on the money belt broke within two days of the 14-day trip with light use. I threw it away.

My husband didn't find this money belt as comfortable as the reviews said it was, nor did he find it easy to access once on under his clothes.

It was fine. I just didn't need it much but I have it for my next travel and it may be the handiest thing ever the next time around. It was comfortable and the function was good, but the need wasn't there this trip.

Planned to take this on our trip to Ireland. It's perfect except it does not fit true to size. My husband has worn the same size for at least 15yrs and this was too small, lol. I plan to order another because we still need a an inconspicuous money belt for the trip. Just order up.

Don't bother, we had to place in $100 bills and could not believe the price for a leather money belt. If you want to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to placed a tri-fold bill into this thing, be my guest. After stuffing in two bills, we figured this was a waste of time. Stick with the Eagle Creek belt that is nylon and not as fancy. For 9.95, guess this really is a belt and a poor money belt!! I gave it two stars because it fulfilled the belt part, but flunked the money belt section. Our belt was sewn so tight, you would have a issue placing in a dollar bill!

Had to return first one because it was too small. Exchange went quickly. Used second belt on our trip to Ireland. Put cash inside. No problems until we got home and tried to unzip it. The pull broke off of the zipper and we had to use plyers to pull open zipper to get cash back out.

The internal compartment is too small to hold anything of value - the height of the compartment is 1/3 the height of a dollar bill - try folding your money lengthwise into thirds and see if you can do it (Maybe if you are a street magician you could force a few bills into it). It certainly cannot hold any kind of credit card or government issued ID. Maybe if you had something really long and narrow to hide, or just wanted a place to store a handful of coins, then it might be worth it. Otherwise, I would pass.

I bought this in 2015 and less than a year the black began to peel away from near the eye holes and around. I tried to juse a black sharpie to color in the holes which sort of worked but I was disappointed in that the black of the leather flaked off in the first placeI guess for about 10 dollars what can you expect. I will be looking for a replacement belt in a different type or from a different manufacturerI am sorry I cannot recommend this product.

The belt arrived with a broken zipper. I am sure the seller would be happy to exchange but having to pay for shipping and deal with going to the post office is such a dang hassle. Plus, who is to say I won't get another broken one after all of that since it does not appear that they check the merchandise before they ship it out.

I put this on and began to sweat like crazy and the area it covered began to itch. It might have been just my skin sensitivities but beware if you have sensitive skin.

I received it quickly and why not, Some troll cut a section out of the waste band; so it is defective and I don't have time to use my sewng skills. A real disappointment and a useless piece of crap. Money back? Why?

Had to send it back. It had a chemical / mildew smell. Not the usual 'new leather' smell you typically get.

I'm so glad I read the other reviews that warns of smaller sizing. I wear a US 32 inch waist, bought size 32 and 34. I returned the size 32 because it couldn't fit and the 34 barely fits. Warning the sizing is incorrect. I advise buying 2 or more inch bigger.

My husband was excited to get this belt for our travels. Unfortunately, we've only used it on a few trips and it's falling apart. All the leather is separating. Very disappointed in the quality.

Within less than a week of first wearing it, the black "leather" started to peel badly at the point where it loops into the buckle - right at the very visible front of the belt when being worn - exposing the light grey material that the belt is made of. It reminded me of a light grey suede belt that has been painted black, essentially. Within two weeks it also lost its small belt loop at the base of the buckle. Good for the garbage at this point.

In less than a month's time, the belt showed several spots of excessive wear. It really wasn't leather and just a cheap imitation.

After four months the belt is now ugly because what appears to be a vinyl coating over the leather has peeled away where the buckle pin enters the belt. I assumed that the belt would be 100% leather based on the description!
