Pleased with money belt.
January 9, 2017
Bought it for my son for a international trip. Good product.
Essentially What I Wanted
November 23, 2016
I am pleased with this product. It's light weight but well made; the belt's profile is thin and lies flat against the body and money and credit cards fit comfortably and securely into the zipped compartments. The belt comes with a passport protector and three credit card blocking sleeves, which I haven't used yet; however, I'm happy that those items were included. There is a snap-together buckle to keep the money belt taunt on the waist. My only reservation about the buckle is that it may be vulnerable to accidental unbuckling by users in a hurry to access their money. It might be better to have a more traditional belt buckle design that couldn't accidentally come unbuckled. To date, though, I have not had a problem with the snap-together buckle.Travel Money Belt - Including 1 RFID Blocking Passport Protector and 3 RFID proof Credit Card Sleeves]]

Traveled with this belt to Iceland, France and Philadelphia. It does what it's supposed to do and it's not uncomfortable to wear.
Items are kept secure!
October 31, 2015
My husband and I recently traveled to Italy. He needed a money belt while touring in Rome. He wore the belt and it held both of our passports (though snug), credit cards and money. It was comfortable and our money, credit cards and passports were secure. We felt secure using the RFID blocking sleeves for our credit cards. The only negative is that it is difficult to get to your money and cards. It appears that you are taking off your clothes when you try to get to your money. But the only way to have security of your items is with this belt.We won't ever travel again without it.
GREAT TRAVEL ~ GREAT PROTECTION
September 10, 2015
This is one of the VERY BEST items that I have purchased in a long while ~ the TSA agents at the airport were quite taken with it ~ said it was absolutely skimmer proof ~ congratulated me on being wise enough to buy it ~ although some comments suggested it was bulky, I found it to be flat and comfortable under any and all clothing even a slinky dress. SO CONVENIENT TO HAVE CARDS, PASSPORT, AND CASH all in one easily accessible spot!I intend to buy one for my daughter who travels often and is always groping for her purse.BUY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT BUT THE BAD GUYS WON'T!
Good choice for security in a money belt
September 2, 2015
There were lots of choices for a new travel money belt, and I shopped a long time. I think this is a good choice. It seems well made, just the right size (some of them are too tall), and has a good closure. I like the double pocket and the fact that it is a blocking fabric to thwart any secret scanning. The security sleeves/envelopes seem of good quality and just the right sizes. I am ready to travel!

Perfect way to store travel documents and currency while traveling
June 7, 2017
I don't always wear this while traveling, but use it for storing documents and currency -- then, when I enter sketchy areas where thieves are known to prey on tourists -- that's when I wear it. This provides great peace of mind, and a nice level of security. If you don't own something like to protect your currency, passport, and other important documents -- and you enter a sketchy area -- you're very vulnerable, and it's already too late.I recommend this for travelers because once you're a crime victim on vacation, it tends to negatively impact the whole vacation experience. You get away to help relax, explore, and have fun, and the last thing you want is to get robbed. I'm not trying to sound alarmist, there are tons of cool people in the world, but preparing in advance is well worth the price of admission. When you enter new territory, it's a good idea to take in your surroundings, to let your mind wander, and have fun. It's more difficult to achieve that level of peace when your mind travels back to cataloging where your cash and documents are.As for quality, I've used this on a dozen trips now, and have zero complaints. But if you ever run into any problems with Eagle Creek products, just contact the company. They are very responsive, and stand by their products.
Gained piece of mind!
February 28, 2016
So happy I bought this!I went on a cruise later last year and I bought this before my trip. I wanted something small and non-flashy to store my cash, phone and important documents while off the ship on excursions (ID, large bills, credit cards, passport, room key, iPhone 6)I am 5"4 and have a small waist, and it's adjustable to fit nice and snug. I was afraid I would get sweaty with it being a warm/humid climate, but it actually stayed rather dry and wicked moisture where against my skin on my lower back. I forgot it was even there most the time and only pulled it out to get more money or retrieve my ID.It isn't bulgy eiher! On the days I wore a tight tank top, I wore a long/knee length skirt and actually wore it around my thigh under my skirt instead of waist. This way you definitely couldn't tell, and I only had to adjust it a couple of times if I was sitting or walking fast.Helped me feel safer and gained a piece of mind knowing I had this to store the important stuff on my person while in a different country. Will continue to use on every major trip I take!
Good, useful product
December 30, 2013
Overall, the money belt is good quality, lightweight, comfortable, good size (not too big, not too small), and adjustable to a wide variety of body sizes. After three and a half months in Spain, with side trips to Italy and Ireland, I was not once robbed. During that time, I traveled extensively using bus and plane. Whenever I traveled, I used a money belt to carry my debit card, passport, extra cash, and personal information. Because the money belt is not easily accessible without heavily adjusting your clothing, I also carried a wallet with a small amount of cash and a credit card for easy access. However, if I was pick pocketed, my loss would have been severely minimized thanks to the money belt.During my time in Spain, lots of people in my program were robbed. It was never violent, and most people didn't realize they were robbed until the thief was long gone. Using a money belt minimizes this. However, vigilance also minimizes this. I noticed that those of us who traveled with money belts tended to be the ones who didn't get their wallets stolen from their purses as well. This obviously had nothing to do with the money belts themselves, but those of us who tended to be aware of the threat of theft and actively took precautions were robbed less. Be aware, and you'll enjoy your travels.
Thick wallet, 2 sets of keys, and an Iphone - no problem!
March 23, 2013
I regularly wear a money belt and after 6 years, my old money belt finally wore out. That old money belt was an Eagle Creek and I liked it so much that I decided to get another one, but of course in a different color - mocha. I've shopped and tried other money belts, and none of them compare in terms of quality and value to that of the Eagle Creek money belts. Sure, you can get a cheaper one but it probably won't last as long or feel as good.StorageI have a wallet that measures 1.5 inches thick and I can easily get that into the Eagle Creek money belt with plenty of room to spare. I also carry two sets of keys and have room for a passport, USB thumbdrive, coins, and my iPhone 4S. This effectively makes sitting down in an airplane seat much more comfortable when my pants pockets aren't bulging out due to all the items I have to carry. If you can fit your item(s) within a box that measures 10 inches long x 3.5 inches wide x 1.5 inches thick - then it would probably fit into this money belt.ComfortThis money belt features a soft fabric along the inside that faces your skin - so that it doesn't feel sweaty or uncomfortable. The elastic belt is completely adjustable and easy to fit. I have a 36" waist and there's still plenty of belt left to accommodate larger sizes. The elastic fabric allows you to take the money belt out easily to retrieve items and then put it back under your clothes. The best thing about wearing money belts is that your wallet and personal items are more secure - especially when traveling. And after trying several other money belts, this is the one I prefer the most. It never gets sweaty, is always comfortable, and keeps my items secure.
Buy the Deluxe Version
February 8, 2013
Rick Steves recommended this belt, so I bought it. Good thing. I always had my passport, money and cards on me. Even when I slept. It's comfortable enough that I never noticed it. (I took it off when I showered and a few times, but you get the idea.) I would rather be safe than sorry. In one of the hostels I stayed at, a group of backpackers were robbed, thinking their stuff was safe in their rooms. Not so.The deluxe version was big enough to fit my valuables, and I would recommend this version over the standard one, which is much smaller. The deluxe wrapped around my lower stomach, but it wasn't that noticeable. I would carry a little bit of money in my pocket, so I wouldn't have to reach into the belt. As far as sweating goes, I travelled in early fall across Europe. I didn't have to worry about heat and perspiration. A few times, when I went running in London and Florence, the money belt did retain the moisture from my body, but it was nothing to be uncomfortable.Overall, I felt very safe and comfortable wearing my money belt. Obviously, if someone was intent on mugging me, a money belt would probably not deter them. However, as far as petty theft goes and opportunistic pickpocketing, having a money belt is just a smart idea.
money belt
February 22, 2012
I wore this daily for 2 weeks on a recent trip. It was comfortable, did not cause sweating or turn smelly, and was not noticeable under my clothing. I used one pocket for my passport, which did not get bent, and the other for money. Obviously you need another wallet for your spending money for the day, as you can't access it easily and that's the point of an undercover money belt

The pouch is fantastic. The RFID pieces
June 26, 2016
The pouch is fantastic. The RFID pieces, although I did not check if they actually worked, made great sleeves for a passport and credit cards. However the RFID sleeves have already begun to fall apart after using the passport sleeve for 2 weeks and the credit card ones for 4.If you're just looking for the pouch, you'll be more than satisfied with it's discrete profile and use; the sleeves are a nice bonus. I would not recommend if you're looking for a sleeve to use long term.

Nice money belt with a minor niggle.
September 14, 2015
This is nicely made and easy to wear. The internal pockets are set up to accommodate a passport, credit cards, and cash. It wears easily under clothes. You'll forget that it's on.My only complaint is with the clasp. While it works fine, it is very light duty. I'm sure that this was a compromise in order to keep it from being too bulky. But, it does seem a bit flimsy and somewhat vulnerable to a talented pickpocket. I plan to add some additional means of securing the pack under my clothes, so that if the clasp were to come undone, it would still take some effort to remove the pack from my waist...perhaps a couple of small safety pins.Otherwise, I really like the design and wear-ability of the pack.
Fit under my shirt, and was a little noticable, but no one was going to get anything from it w/o me noticing
August 7, 2015
I wore this on our ten day European vacation. I put it on when I got dressed in the morning, and left it on until I got ready for bed at night. I never got a rash, and it didn't itch. It has two zippers, and a mesh pocket in the higher pocket. I could just fit my passport beside the mesh pocket. I generally kept some spare cash, and my credit cards in the money belt, too.I chose the lighter color because it more closely matches my skin color, so it wouldn't be so noticeable if I was wearing thin shirts. It was hot in Europe, so I mostly wore thin shirts the whole trip. My wife bought something that hung from her neck, but it bothered her, and she ended up carrying it in her purse (which sort of defeats the purpose). This is recommended by Rick Steves, and is way less expensive here than there.
easy to conceal if necessary
July 1, 2015
Very light, fits tightly to the body, easy to conceal if necessary. One of the reasons that I went with this one was because it was supposed to be a bit larger than the other ones I was looking at, and it works for what I need it for. I have my money, credit cards, and passport, which all fit nicely in the various pouches. The other reason that I chose this one was because compared to the other models I looked at, this one seemed to have decent moisture-wicking and a breathable mesh back. I was pretty disappointed in how that aspect of it held up, since it is summer I wore it in 90 degree weather, and I can say that it did not breathe one bit. Within two minutes of being outside it was the hottest and sweatiest part of my body, so I moved it outside of my shirt, this did not help much, it remained the warmest part of my body and soaked the shirt I was wearing underneath of it. The pouch is awesome! The best quality one that I could find on Amazon, with the features being great, and the construction and material sound. However if you purchase this for the moisture-wicking be careful.
Great belt, not perfect in tropical climates
May 19, 2015
First of all I have to say that I love this belt because it is very handy. It has a couple of pockets (with their own zippers) which makes it easy to find things. However, despite other reviews mine did get wet with sweat, and some of the stuff inside also got slightly wet. I traveled to a tropical climate and wore the belt all day long, every day. I ended up with a pretty good rash toward the end of the week. I really like the belt and would highly recommend it in moderate to cold climates. I'm not sure any money belt could've stayed dry with as much sweating as I did, so please keep that in mind.
Pricey, but worth it to protect valuables!
May 15, 2014
We used these money belts to protect our passports and extra cash in Italy. If you read any travel website, they warn against pickpockets overseas. During my travel I spoke to a couple that had their passport stolen. They needed to go to the U.S. Embassy, which took all day to obtain paperwork.Anyways, back to the product... They are comfortable and easily tuck under your pants/shirt. Do yourself a favor and invest in one of these to protect your valuables when traveling overseas.
peace of mind
July 29, 2013
I watched a person lose his wallet while departing a train in italy. It took about 3 seconds and no one saw it coming. After that I had new appreciation for the money belt. I kept passports, money and a credit card and while not as easy as whipping out a wallet, I was never a victim and never felt I was a target. Peace of mind goes along way...

Nice bag, can get sweaty wearing this in the summer
September 3, 2015
I purchased this and two other types of hidden wallets for a trip. I didn't use this as much since I was wearing this around my back and it became too hot (we were traveling in the summer). This is meant to stick to your body, so unless you want to wear it up front, it can get hot on your back where you sweat the most. My wife now uses this when she goes jogging. She likes that it fits snug against you like a sports bag.
Fine product but not for me
June 4, 2015
Bought this for a trip to Europe. Highly recommended by Rick Steves. As far as it goes it's fine - well made and so forth. I only used it a couple of times before abandoning in favor of keeping my wallet and passport in the front pockets of my pants. I disliked having to fumble with my clothes to get to it then deal with all the zippers to get to a card or cash. It took a long time and drew more attention to me than not using it.
Not my preferred way to carry things while traveling
August 25, 2014
While useful (it did conceal my cash and passport nicely), I found this hot and kind of uncomfortable against my skin. I got a neck pouch at the same time I got this and I ended up using it instead after a couple of days. Granted, I went to Ireland, and I didn't worry about being mugged even once in the two weeks I was there. Might be more willing to put up with the discomfort if I thought I was at more risk of having things stolen from me!
the pouch with stretch
October 26, 2013
the pouch itself is okay just big enough for my money clip and cell phone not much else but the thing i don't like is the belt is made out of elastic material and that makes it want to slide down lower than i would like because it makes it hard to bend over and pick something up or sit down in my truck, you have to pick it up with your hand to sit down or bend over for whatever reason you need to. belt needs to be solid like a belt you would where with you pants.
It'll do fine.
May 16, 2013
This worked fine. I was able to get my passport, credit cards and Euros inside along with my small cell phone and wear it under my blouse. I did wish it had dual zipper heads. Somehow I was always trying to open it from the side opposite the zipper heads. Also, the clip fastener was a bit flimsy and sometimes it didn't want to come open. However, it was a flat one and didn't come open when I did NOT want it to and thus fall off. The area where the adjustable strap is sown together when against your bare skin and is rather scratchy. Of course, the strap did make it adjustable for different body sizes.

Good for traveling, needs a longer adjustable belt.
July 3, 2015
This was a pretty darn cool item to use in order to keep your items safe. What I didn't like is that even though it fit me, it was too too darn tight especially when seated. I am 175lbs, 5"9 so I'm not to large, I couldn't adjust the strap any bigger because it wasn't long enough. That's the only complaint, if the strap was longer, I would have given it 5 stars. Their was no description on the length, so that's why I knocked it down.

Nice concept, but not a very good product in the long run.Being that it has to be worn inside the clothes, I found it tobe awkward. I had to fumble around with it, which drawsattention and that defeats the purpose of having it. So, Igave it to my girlfriend, who loves it.
Waste of money $20

Geez, why such a big size when a wallet cannot fit. Barely I can keep a phone, hotel card and may be few open credit cards. Though I got it today and over use - the belt which is elastic will get loose or will get broken. Waste of $20. May be a chinese product may be more sturdy.

June 7, 2014
I bought this item to use during my hike on the Camino de Santiago. The intention was to store my monies, papers and phone. Even though guidelines said it would hold all these items, I found it to be too thin, too small, and too hot and sweaty against my body that I never did use it. Bought, used and loved a fannypack instead.
