This belt is really well made. The material is really nice and the secret compartment for money was a unique design that made it roomier for more currency without looking bulkier. Very nice...I recommend this product.
Good Value, Good Quality Belt
March 17, 2017
So far so good. I've had this belt for a few weeks now and am wearing it as my everyday belt. It looks good and is comfortable and has held up well. The real test will be to see how it is a year from now though. But it's been great so far. A note about sizing. I wear a size 36 pants for the waist size and ordered a size 38 in this belt and it is perfect size wize.
Keep your cash safe!
March 15, 2017
Works perfectly for its purpose and looks like a regular belt. Used it during a trip to store money and passport copy and it gave me the security of keeping a subset of my money in a safe place.
Holds a lot of Money!
February 17, 2017
Good belt. Solid construction Holds about 15 US bills without being obvious.Looks like a regular belt not like a belt made as a money belt which I regard as a safety feature. My only fault -- and I was warned -- was that this comes with bright shiny nickle hardware. I could not get brass (which I prefer) and had to order a belt buckle separate.
Get bigger size! Works great!
February 24, 2016
It looks decent and looks like an ordinary belt after putting money in the zipper. The only issue is the size, order bigger than your waist, despite the seller's instructions. I wear a size 34, I ordered the 36, after reading the reviews about fitting, and it barely has enough slack to tuck (I used the 2nd to last notch). Other than that, the belt feels great.
Great
March 28, 2014
This is my 3rd (and maybe last) Dress/Money Belt. Unlike the other two it seems to be real leather. Smart looking and you'd never know it has the hidden zip compartment. it easily holds 5-10 bills plus copies of Drivers Licence & Passport. We travel a lot in the USA & abroad and its a comfort knowing that we have backup cash & documents in case of a loss.A tip. the website says to order a belt length one size bigger than pant size. I found it better to order 2 sizes bigger. I wear 36" pants and I ordered a 40" belt which is just right.

Perfect for traveling.

I love this. It has 2 pockets. I use one for our passports and one for cash storage. It fits flat under my clothing and is not itchy or hot.
Worth every penny
Good product - very lightweight and durable
July 15, 2016
I bought this for a trip to Ireland. I think Ireland is a very safe place, but there are the baddies anywhere you go. I was able to wear this under my clothing and feel assured that no one was going to pick my pocket or snatch and grab a bag with these valuable items inside. Good product - very lightweight and durable.
Comfortable and Discreet - Perfect for Overseas Travel
November 17, 2015
We purchased this for our trip to China to adopt our little boy. It worked great. The waist stash is very comfortable and lays well under a shirt. I'm a slender woman and it fit well, though I had to tuck the excess strap in. My husband, who is average in build, wore a second one and also liked the fit.

I wore this under a baby carrier, and it was still comfortable. The discreet plastic buckles don't dig into my skin, even with the pressure of a toddler strapped to my front. I barely noticed it, even when we traveled south and the temperature pushed into the 80s with 100 degree humidity. While the weather was hot and uncomfortable, the waistband wasn't.

The pockets easily fit a couple passports, money/travelers checks and a few folded documents. The only inconvenient part was getting things in and out of it. While it's a great hidden stash for your valuables - if you need to whip out a couple bills to buy yourself a souvenir, getting under your shirt to grab what you need is a bit of a hassle.

We used this to carry valuables in during the day and my husband had a second traveler wallet around his neck that we used to store the money and documents we thought we'd need that day.

At the end of the day, I'd definitely recommend this item. We used it daily on our three week trip and it still looks new. I don't know what longer term wear and tear would do, but this will definitely serve for several trips - at least.
Makes a good hidden pouch
February 1, 2015
Fits any sort of documents you'd likely need. Sits well under clothing (though that does impede access). Used it for 10 days on an overseas trip and didn't have any problems with it.
Perfect for foreign travel!
January 8, 2013
I LOVE this product. It worked fabulously well - too well, in fact. At one point during our trip overseas, I had a moment of panic during a tourist day walking around the old town in Prague - I COULD NOT FEEL the pack against my body/under my clothing as I walked, and could not remember for sure if I had put it on.

Needless to say, the pouch is extremely comfortable, fits very well under men's clothing, and has more than enough space for two passports (mine and my wife's) as well as the various forms of foreign currency. The extendable belt loop is soft and comfortable, and makes for easy on/off when using the bathroom - simply pull it down like a pair of underwear instead of bothering to take it off. Easier and more secure. The clip is easy to use, and the zippers work well.

Because the fabric is breathable, if you sweat a lot (as I did during some days of hiking or climbing steps/hills), your goods can get moist, but not wet. But the breathable fabric also means that it's not nearly as hot to wear as some of the old waist pouches I've worn.

All things considered, I'm extremely happy with this product.

Nice belt
October 21, 2016
I am about a 31" and ordered the 34". I am still on the last notch or two, so I probably should have ordered even bigger. It does run small. I was hoping for a bit thicker belt, but it was pliable enough to fit dollar bills folded in 3rds lengthwise. It looks really nice and will do the trick.
A nicely made practical belt.
September 9, 2016
I bought a black and a brown. My waist is 32, so I ordered 34. The belt fits me very well and appear to be well made. I hope my waistline doesn't expand; otherwise I'll be out of luck as I'm using the last hole of the belt.1. The brown one was shipped via Amazon Prime but the black one was shipped direct, costing $1.00 more after adding the freight. They arrived two days apart.2. The brown one has an additional leather loop that I like as it will hold excess belt length in the event the belt loop of the pants is too far away. The leather loop was stapled together, cheap looking and tacky, probably won't last long.3. The black one has NO additional leather loop. I wonder it was overlooked by accident.I wish the seller, Walter3, will send one to me, if it is supposed to have one.4. The money pocket is zippered, about 20 inches long. I tri-fold, lengthwise, hundred-dollar bills (US dollar) and line three bills end-to-end to stuff them inside the pocket. The maximum I can stuff were 12 bills or ($1200). One reviewer claimed to have $3,000 inside the pocket. I would like to learn how the dollar bills were folded to stuff that much without making the belt look too obvious for a money belt..5. I'll put both to use for my vacation trip next month and provide update after the trip.
Good belt.
July 14, 2015
First the good, why I gave 4 stars. All I wanted was a stylish casual comfortable belt that fits. Got it, looks and feels good and I love it. Now why it's missing the 5th star: Yes, it has a well hidden zipper pouch on the inner part of the belt, but it was darn right impossible to fit my drivers license in there or my ATM card. You might be able to hide a couple of dollar bills, but you really have to fold them very small. So far I have found no use for the inner zippered pouch, good thing I don't actually need that feature; and the belt itself is a good belt at a reasonable price.
The belt itself is amazing! It looks great and serves its purpose well
March 18, 2015
The belt itself is amazing! It looks great and serves its purpose well. If you do not over stuff it no one will ever know that it is a money belt. However, I had a horrible experience with the shipping. I ordered it a month before a month long trip and only got it two months after getting back! It took 4 months total to get to me!!! So order early with this one.
Well made, but not a stiff belt
February 25, 2015
Nice belt, well made. But, I like a stiff belt and this is maybe semi-stiff, like 3/5. It is also like an inch short. It fits, but only on the next to last hole. According to the instructions, it should have fit the middle 3rd hole. I like the engraving, the stitching is well done and the buckle is not flimsy but has a good feel to it (not light in weight) and a good finish. I would recommend this belt to everyone, except if you want a fairly stiff belt.
Peace of mind.
July 11, 2014
Bought this to take on a recent trip to Ecuador. It's a heavy-duty, quality belt...with room to conceal about ten bills for extra security if you fold them correctly. I'd buy this again.

Secure travel stash
December 15, 2016
I bought this waist stash before I went to Europe a couple of years ago. I usually just try to keep my valuables in a part of my bag that is hard to reach, but I think this is more secure. Very few people are going to try and reach under someone's shirt to steal their money. With this on most people won't even think to reach under your shirt, though, it is very thin so it is not noticeable when you're wearing it. The bag stays on really well, it doesn't slide around or move up and down.
The only thing I don't like about this stash is that it is uncomfortable to wear. When I brought it on my trip I ended fighting with my travel buddy over who was going to wear it. Toward the end of our trip, I was carrying it in my hand while we were on our way up to our hotel room, we stopped at a vending machine to get something, and I accidentally left it on top of the machine - passports and all. Luckily it was right on top of the machine when we came back a little while later, so all was well, but that could've gone a lot worse. That mishap was clearly my fault, but the thing is sort of awkward to wear, so try it out before traveling to make sure you'll actually wear it.

It does not bother me under my clothes. My only complaint is that during my first time using it the band started to come unattached, soon the band will break off completely. That could have just been mine but it still works, it just will not work long term.
The dimensions are good and, overall
June 3, 2016
I used it on a regular basis while traveling around the world for 5 months. The dimensions are good and, overall, it works pretty well in all sorts of environments. My only real complaint was how the extra slack doesn't really stay in place. I tried several methods and none of them were a permanent solution. I'd probably still buy it again, though.
Works fine. Needs some modification.
May 30, 2016
Bought this to take along for trip to Europe. While it was comfortable to wear and not in the way, the elastic waist strap was not properly fastened and almost fell off while wearing for a few hours.
Fortunately, I was able to reinforce the elastic stitching on a sewing machine before my trip. It works perfectly fine now.

I recommend interested buyers to wear the money belt before they take it on a trip. It will not be as easy to fix if it breaks while abroad.
Does the job and gives peace of mind
July 23, 2014
We took this on our trip to Brazil. My husband, who is 6'2", 33" waist mostly wore it, and it worked just fine under his t-shirts and shorts/boardshorts. It didn't bother him at all and could easily take out and put away items. He carried cash, hotel keycard, and IDs in it. He could even fit the iPhone and our slim digital camera in it.
When searching for these, I wanted to make sure it fit my waist. It did when adjusted, and I'm only 5' tall, 25" waist. However, I didn't like wearing it much because most of my shirts were fitted and there was a slight bump. Had I gone to a cold place where I layered more, I may not have minded much. I'm not sure if my skin is more sensitive, but I could certainly feel it was there and it was a little uncomfortable in the seated position due to my shorter torso and wearing it low on the waist.
Overall, I'd recommend the product for those traveling abroad and wanting to keep things safe. It was very liberating to not have to carry a purse or backpack, and we felt safer knowing our valuables were not easily accessible for pickpockets.

Belt is good. But cheap buckle. Broke within 2 months
Works as advertised
July 24, 2017
I wear 36-38 pants, ordered a 40" belt, and it fit in the first hole. If I had to do it again, I wold have ordered slightly larger. The belt itself is wider than my normal belt - which I suppose is to be expected as it needs to actually hold things. That said I had one pair of pants where the belt loops were too small to fit the belt. I would not wear this belt for comfort, but it did its job on a trip.

nice product if all you want to do is secure is paper money, guess I just useit as a belt.
Middle of the road money belt.
July 28, 2016
I got a decent money belt, but not a really good or great money belt. The way it is made a person could tell that it is a money belt by looking at it when it is worn unless you stuff it with $20's all the time. The point of a money belt is to not be noticed as wearing a money belt. Good color, leather, stitching and hardware, but just lacking in the belt design.
It's just OK
July 10, 2016
Leather is low grade. Lumpy looking. Bought this for a trip to Europe. Will probably work for what it is intended, but I'm not confident that it will last with long term use. Doesn't hold more than 3 or 4 bills, which have to be folded several times. Size runs small. Based on other reviews I ordered a 38 ( I wear a 36 waist). Only buckles in first hole. If you order go at least 2 sizes bigger than normal. Glad I got this with AMEX points, so I didn't pay real money for it.

Quality product but expensive. Bought this item instead of another that cost have the price based on reviews.I think the other belt would have worked just fine for a lot less since its not an every day use item for me.Be sure you order two size larger then your pant waist size. 34W get 36W belt and so on, might even consider a 38W, mine fits on the second or third hole towards belt end.

December 11, 2015
I purchased this item for my 3 1/2 week backpacking trip through Europe. As soon as I opened the package, I noticed some of the stitching was coming undone. I was disappointed in the quality, it felt pretty cheap. However, I still used it for my trip, and it served it's purpose. It was comfortable to wear, it held my passport, ID, cards, and cash. By the end of my trip one side of the belt was coming apart from the main pouch. If you want something cheap that you do not need to re-use over and over again, this might be for you.

September 30, 2015
The waist stash itself is nice. I will use it but it does not do RFID protection.... Tested it... I put my work entry card into the waist stash and it read the card. I then lined the stash with aluminum foil and it wasn't able to read it. So solution for me is, I will line it with foil. It is comfortable and I do think it is necessary for my travel... Fits my credit cards passport and money easily and slips into the top of my pants. I also purchased the neck stash but I don't think I like that one.. I can at least access the waist one if I'm sitting at a table.
Did the job, but would be great with some improvements.
June 1, 2015
I wanted to like this, and it was functional enough (it did do the job), but I think some improvements are in order:
1. The belt is made entirely of elastic. If it were webbing with some elastic it would feel more secure.
2. The adjustment buckle thing loosened too easily. I would recommend some kind of more sturdy adjustment buckle or stay to keep it from loosening up.
3. The attachment of the belt was on the front, so it tended to sort of flop over/collapse when full. I think stitching the strap/belt to the back/top would be helpful... I may make this adjustment myself.

Aside from that it held 2 passports, a map, money, credit cards, etc. easily and out of view. I have no idea about the RFID part, since my credit cards don't even have a chip in them... I was more looking for a good travel wallet that I could wear as opposed to carry.
Great pouch for backpacking trips
March 22, 2015
The pouch served its purpose for my backpacking trip through Europe. It was very comfortable while contacting my skin and sweat did not damage nor seek through. The band however was a bit weak and when walking tends to stretch un-wantingly. This kept my money, passport and cards secure during my 2 weeks on the road and I love it for that.

I have had a leather money belt for years and was very satisfied with it
November 4, 2017
When I received (October 2017) this belt, it was coiled tightly. When uncoiled, it resulted in vertical puckering all across the back of the belt. I thought perhaps it would improve after being hung up for a while. Nothing changed. I have had a leather money belt for years and was very satisfied with it. Upon closer examination, I have some concerns about this belt. Although the vendor states that the belt is bovine leather, under magnification, it appears the backing is a different material. Also, the backing is twice the thickness of the outside (whereas outside and backing of my old belt were nearly the same thickness and material). This belt is significantly thicker (35%) than by old belt making it more difficult to fit into belt loops as well as making it stiffer. I feel the puckering could come from either the outside being much thinner than the backing or the material of the backing does not have the same flexibility as the outside. I also feel the thin leather on the outside of the belt would bluge with anything more than a few bills in the zipper pocket. I am generally disappointed with this product. However, I did like the longer zipper pocket.
Size runs short
February 7, 2017
Bought Size 32. This item seems to run shorter. Buy next size up
Cheaply made
August 23, 2016
The pocket is a good size to hide money, but the belt is very cheaply made. I looks like it's going to come apart and I have not even wore it yet. Next time use better material and charge me a few extra dollars. I don't think it's made out of leather. I think it's made out of some other material.
Nice enough belt - but very limited storage that is hard to get into
July 23, 2016
The belt itself is reasonable quality. The amount of storage space is tiny and getting anything into it (even a couple of $20 bills) is s pain. For this reason I doubt I will ever use the storage.
Get what you pay for.
June 11, 2016
You get what you pay for , mostly. Ordered a brown somewhat stylish belt. Got a burgundy cheap belt with a really long narrow zipper. The leather belt holder wouldn't even allow the belt in. Apparently its cheap staples made it too tight. Stitching and seal was cheap and black! Never again from that company.

Travel sellers for Passport

Fast review to help others - and intentionally including the reviews as a batch, not one off per product as it is the context here that matters.

Read the various reviews, purchased the Bago FRID travel wallet. Light weight, seemed fine and then the buckle broke - minutes after opening the product the buckle broke. Cheap buckle and clear replacements would break. In a rush now before the trip, ordered a bunch to pick the best of the selection. Ended up going with the Alpsy given the stronger bucket and overall fit. Below is the quick review of each.

Landing Gear
4 stars / $17.00
Lightweight, appears more durable than others. Pouch for waist straps. Two mesh separators inside the larger pocket.

Alpsy Travel Walllet
4 stars / $14.00
Thicker materials and seems more durable. Pouch on back for the waste strap when not in use.

ODY Travel Gear
3 stars / $16.00
Thinner profile than the average (not as tall). Pouch on back to accommodate strap when not in use. Two mesh separators in the larger compartment. More confidence in the buckle.

Travelway
3 stars / $10.00
Simple, lightweight. Buckle but better than the 2 star rating options but still a concern. No way to hide the strap when not in use. (Not a fan of the beige)

Lewis & Clark RFID Wallet Stash
2 stars / $15.00
The only one of the bunch that has the clasp to the left...for lefties. I'm right handed so didn't work for me. No way to nicely hide the strap when not in use. Found the material lightweight (good), but also cheap and flimsy. A closed zipper easily splits in the middle.

Bago FRID
2 stars / $17.00
Buckle will break and waste of money and effort. Could be a great with improvements to the buckle and strap. Has pouch on back for waist strap.
Satisfactory but not great money belt.
July 19, 2015
I needed a money belt in a hurry and purchased this one. It served the purpose but the waist belt is flimsy and the snap to hold it is not particularly strong. I used it under clothes while in major cities in Europe where pickpockets are rampant and it was fine. I would worry that if someone pulled on it, the clasp would not hold. It needs a thicker strap and stronger clasp for security.
Not Impressed
July 16, 2015
I used this for one 10 day mission trip and the band that goes around the waist started to fray. I am not impressed with the quality of this product and I would not recommend it.
Buy something else.
May 27, 2015
Buckle is very cheap and needed to be fixed on day one just to snap closed. I don't trust it not to fail. The loop broke before I could use it even once.

4" smaller than advertised, you-pay-shipping return policy. DON'T BOTHER!
May 9, 2015
Awful, as others have said, the belt is too small. I wear 34 pants, and 34 belts, I ordered a 34 but cannot even buckle this belt! I used the online sizer, I measured, but it's way too small. I really think I'd need to order a 38 for a good fit ( a good fit would be the middle hole on a belt with my 34" waist). What really sucks is I need to pay return shipping to get my money back. THAT'S CRAP! I didn't order the wrong size, the product itself is the wrong size. At the end of the day, I will lose at least 6 bucks to return a belt that I can't wear!I will never order anything from this company again since they will not take care of this situation.Edit to add: you now have the option of having this fulfilled by Amazon Prime. Use it! Also, do what the others suggest and add 2"-4" on your measured waist. Don't go by the guide unless it's updated to reflect how it really fits (Currently it states that a size 34 belt works for a 34" measured waist) But, be aware, this is not a durable belt, as other mentioned it degrades quite quickly.Have a great day!
