Five Star Reviews: | 49% Awesome, Killer Impact Wrench July 19, 2016 This wrench was a TOTAL SHOCK! I had a project on my Dodge Pickup, all shocks changed plus the steering stabilizer. The front shocks needed to have the front tires removed. The first tire took two of us to loosen all eight lug nuts with the "T" or "X" wrench. The next tire I used this impact wrench. It removed the lugs with no problem. I was stunned! I then used the wrench to remove bolts and nuts from the shocks and then replace them. No problem. I only have to recommend a few suggestions. First, you need to purchase extra sockets for impact wrenches in both SAE and Metric. Then you need impact wrench extension drives. And last you need a heavy duty 10 to 12 ft. extension cable to allow you to get to the rear wheels. I must clarify that my truck is a 2003 Dodge 1 Ton Quad Cab Long Bed 4WD so I've got a long distance from my cigarette lighter to the rear wheels. Also my lug nuts are 21mm. Too large for the kits 4 socket set up. With that said I think most cars and standard trucks should be OK. Works as claimed. September 25, 2014 I bought this impact wrench in March 2013 and today (25th September 2014) I had cause to use it for the first time. I had to change my tire due to a flat and this impact wrench loosened the 5 studs for the 17" rim in only a few whacks of the hammer. No sweat! What was even more impressive was the fact that only a few days ago I balanced all the tires and a 1/2" drive air impact wrench was used to tighten all the studs. After installing the spare tire, I use the impact wrench to tighten back the studs with only a few hammer blows and I double checked the tightness using the tire iron supplied with the car and I was unable to get any more turn on the studs. The wrench was also comfortable to use, not heavy and with little of the impact being transmitted to my hand. The wrench comes with 4 socket heads and a handy hard shell case. Autocrosser Review May 12, 2014 Every month I take my car (Subaru BRZ) out to Autocross. I have a set of tires specifically for tracking that I swap out once I get to the course and this thing works like a champ! It's been about 6 months of use and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The way it works, which might throw some people off, is the motor inside spins to build up torque and then it slams the nut with a jolt of power and then repeats the process until it can spin the nut without the need to build torque. It takes maybe an extra 30 seconds over my air impact gun and it fits in a case that takes up hardly in room in my trunk. If you need an on-the-go impact wrench or if you just need an inexpensive way to swap out your winter tires, this is the gun for the job. Excellent addition to any garage. Hard to beat the price and convenience! February 10, 2014 The 5-star rating is based on a few factors:Price: I got this kit for $46. Out of all the automotive impact wrenches I considered, this was the best price/utility combination at that time.Convenience: if you're looking for a purely automotive impact wrench, you can't beat this. You don't need an air-compressor, hoses, etc. Just a little box that you can carry on long road trips (or have in your vehicle at all times). The cord plugs into your 12V charger socket/cigarette lighter. It is long enough to reach all four tires on most sedans. I have a truck, and I've made it all around. You can also consider buying an extension that I bought (but haven't needed to use): RoadPro RP-203EC 12V 12' Extension Cord with Cigarette Lighter PlugFunction: It is completely self-explanatory. I'm what I call a skilled automotive enthusiast. But even a novice can pick up this wrench, and know what to do with it.Accessories: The set comes with two double-end sockets, giving you four standard sizes: 11/16 and 3/4; and 13/16 and 7/8. It would be VERY unusual for anyone not to find a size that works for them (even if you're used to metric socket sizes). The set also comes with two spare fuses. My wrench hasn't blown a fuse yet, but I can see it happening. If the lugnut isn't coming off with the first 2-3 impacts, leave the trigger, wait a couple of seconds, and try again. This is an impact wrench, not a drill. It works by intermittent impacts and not by continuous application of force.Torque: This product was criticized by reviewer for lacking the claimed torque. The wrench is rated for 190 ft-lb. I think 190 covers almost every passenger sedan and light truck made in the US. The reviewer said that this wrench couldn't handle 150 ft-lb needed to loosen the lugs on his F150. Well, all I can say is - I have the same exact vehicles, and I torque the lugnuts back to 150 ft-lb if I've needed to take a wheel off. I've never found this wrench lacking the power to take a lugnut off. As for putting the nut back on, I don't rely only on an impact wrench. I give the final torque using a hand wrench Gorilla Automotive TW605 Torque Wrench that I bought from Amazon too. I can say that I've NEVER needed to turn the hand wrench more than 5 degrees before hearing the "click". That tells me that the Kawasaki is getting the lugnut pretty darn close to 150 ft-lb all by itself. All in all, I highly recommend this product. Amazingly strong for a 12VDC device September 2, 2013 After giving up on trying to remove an axle nut on a '99 car with a 22mm bolt and a 3' breaker bar, I was ready to replace the entire hub carrier to slip the CV out. Took a lunch break, and thought of trying this impact wrench - which I had bought for my daughter to change a flat. Put my regular socket on the tool, and put it to the nut. I was actually surprised when after a dozen hits or so, the nut came off!!! This tool is going into my tool chest, not the trunk of my daughter's car. It works!!!Is this as good as a pro-quality air impact wrench? Probably not. But I'm 220 lbs, and it's stronger than me. I'd definitely buy another.Quick aside: What the instructions don't tell you: Don't put pressure on the tool and force it into the nut you're removing. Just keep it on the nut, and let the tool do the work. Excellent 12V impact gun November 21, 2011 I'm very happy with this impact gun. From reviews of other 12V impact wrenches, it appears that people had problems with the product arriving DOA, or not being able to break lugnuts loose at all, blowing fuses, or burning out the motor. Some people set their expectations really high, somehow expecting it to behave or perform like an air impact wrench or even one of the 120V models.I didn't have any of the problems listed above. The impact gun arrived in its own plastic (branded Kawasaki) carrying case with molded-in placeholders for the impact gun, two double-sided impact-grade sockets (included), and two fuses (included but so far unnecessary). I unpacked it, unraveled its fair-length cord and plugged it into my vehicle's cigarette lighter. I grabbed one of the included sockets, made sure it fit the lugnuts on the car, and attached it to the gun. There is a push-pull side-to-side kind of switch that determines the direction the impact gun spins. I made sure that was set for REMOVING the lug nuts. Mind you, these lugnuts were impacted on by the last shop I took my car to.I pulled the trigger. Spiiiiiiiiiiiin-CLANK. Spiiiiiiin-CLANK. Spiiiiin-spin-spin-spin. Lug nut removed. About 10 seconds, not bad at all. Tried the next lug nut. Same performance. The motor spools up for a second, accelerates a few internal weights, then releases its energy by hammering the lug nut. Depending on which direction you have it set to spin, it will hammer the lug nut until it spins completely off the wheel stud, or it will spin the lug nut onto the stud and hammer at it until you decide it's tight enough. This gun's seen intermittent use in the past few weeks, being passed between me and a friend while we work on our projects in my driveway and garage. The cord length is somewhere in the 8-10 foot range. I have a small 12V, 7.5Ah sealed lead-acid battery that I've connected a spare vehicle power outlet/cigarette lighter to. This allows me to position the battery and impact gun near whatever car I'm working on, without worrying about draining the battery. Speaking of my worry of draining the battery: that worry proved to be for nothing. I've used the same little SLA battery since I received the impact gun, and haven't charged it at all. The performance of the impact gun is unchanged. As far as build quality, it has a very solid feel to it, with a good weight to it as well.My feedback to the people who are looking for a 12V impact gun that matches (or even comes CLOSE) to an airgun: Look elsewhere. 12 volts has its limitations. If you want the instantaneous, divine un-torquing, bolt breaking, apocalypse-inducing power associated with air impact guns, look elsewhere. Keep your expectations realistic: An inexpensive 12V impact gun that will significantly lessen the strain on your back and arms. A 12V impact gun that will do the job several times faster than you could even if you had a breaker bar. A 12V impact gun that will last.Bottom line: If you're looking for an impact gun that will save your back and arm from the usual strain involved with breaking lug nuts (or any other heavily torqued bolts) free, this will reliably do it faster than you ever could while using very little power.-------UPDATE 2/23/2016: This impact gun died a horrible death a couple years ago, while I completed a job this was never meant to do. I assisted a friend with replacing balljoints on his 2000 Ford Taurus. This impact gun was used to remove all lugnuts from wheels, remove the 30mm axle nuts from the front wheels, press new balljoints into control arms, and replace the 30mm axle nuts. The impact gun began to wobble and rattle, very evidently less balanced, in the last few impacts to the axle nut as it was torqued back into place. When the trigger was pressed afterward, the motor could be heard accelerating, but it was no longer transmitting torque to the 1/2" drive. The impact gun was done for.I will not drop any stars for this, as the impact gun wasn't designed to do all the work I set before it, in the duty cycle I forced upon it. I am impressed that it was able to complete the job I gave it, and it was money well-spent. No regrets. | 40% good August 23, 2015 works great. Just wanted a basic drill around the house. Got one for a good price and does what it needs to Works Good for me! July 22, 2015 I received it on time and in great shape I pulled trigger and had juice in the battery so I charged for 3hrs and it zipped off variator nut& clutch bell nut on a scooter like they were loose already I am very happy with Tradespro product and price was right! Will see how it lasts! |
Four Star Reviews: | 17% USE MY TIP TO MAKE THIS WORK. October 4, 2017 Had to return it, but had I known this trick which is, when using this DO NOT PRESS the socket into the wheel lug or whatever you are trying to remove, put the lug on then squeeze the trigger it winds up the motor(prob. a capacitor) since it is made to run on a car 12 volt at 10amp or 15amp (max for a cigarette lighter) DONT FORGET TO KEEP YOUR MOTOR RUNNING!!!!.It will wind up the motor then send a pulse that will try to break your nut loose, on a car let it do this about 5-6 times to loosen the lug. This is why the mfc wants you to let the gun cool down it gets warm since the current has to build up (again I think in a capacitor) once you try it 6x6 that's 36....Also, watch the lug as you don't want to loosen the lugs a lot while the car is being supported (ie not on a jack) otherwise, you could snap or bend the wheel lugs themselves!!!!! Reasonable tool for its intended purpose. June 13, 2017 This tool worked well initially. Ultimately the screws holding it together came out (stripped). It still works with the addition of several wraps of duct tape. great purchase, saved me time, effort and dirty hands January 17, 2017 it worked! i had a tired blow on my popup trailer and i used this to remove and put on the nuts without any issues. it works by spinning up and once it gets fast enough, it impacts the wrench which will the either budge a bit or free-spin until it slows down or gets hit again. not like a pneumatic impact wrench at tire stores or service stations, but worked really well and my hands didn't get dirty! Very Portable September 16, 2014 Been using this for two months now with no problem. I do own an air impact gun, but this has become my go to tools for my small car repair because of its portability. It is able to break 80 ft/lb torqued lug nuts after 2 -3 hammer blows and for me, this is better than firing up my 20 gal compressor when all I need to do is to loosen 12 nuts. One star less for not including metric sockets. Took it to a recent 2400 miles trip. Did not get that chance to use it but I know it will save my back from breaking those nuts if need be. Great tool - for what it is February 1, 2014 I purchased this because I often can not undo the wheel nuts on my car after it has been to a garage. They use a pneumatic impact wrench and always over-tighten them. Recently, they were done up so tight, I used all my physical strength until I could feel the breaker bar start to bend and the nuts still would not come off. There was absolutely no way they were coming off by anything human powered.I purchased this impact wrench and it got all the wheel nuts off. Some of them took about half a minute or so to loosen, but they all came off eventually. I found the tool doesn't work so well if you press it hard into the wheel. It also helps if it aligned correctly with the wheel (i.e. not angled up or down, left or right, but straight on). This is not a high powered, heavy duty tool. You can only get about 100w max out of a cigarette lighter after all. Compared to a pneumatic / mains / battery powered impact wrench, it is rubbish. But compared to straining with breaker bar to the point that the bar starts to bend, this is a great tool and I'm really glad I purchased it. Good product, if you understand its limitations January 8, 2013 I must admit that I bought this hoping it would help free a stubborn lug nut, and it didn't. However, I was dealing with a severely overtorqued lug that required an adapter, so physics was working against the impact wrench. I can't rightly fault the tool for that, although it's a bit less powerful than the Amazon reviews had led me to believe. One word of caution: do NOT operate this gun for extended periods. It will start smoking (although no damage seems to have occurred). You really don't want to hold it for more than like 3 or 4 whacks, and if it hasn't loosened the lug after that, it probably won't. I made the mistake of going at it for a bit, and repeatedly, and it turned out that the lug was just way too tight to have hope of removing it with this gun. I had to use a breaker bar to get the lug off. Side note: don't let anyone torque your lug nuts that tight. It's a solid gun, with a nice long cord that should easily reach all four tires. You may need a different socket for your lug nuts (I can't remember what this comes with). My only problem is now that I've got the breaker to get the lugs off, I no longer need this impact wrench. Oh well. Buy this if you're tired of turning a lug wrench and want a quicker way to change a flat. | 21% Great drill crappy charger February 28, 2016 Great drill, but very poor quality charger. Have only used the charger a couple of times and now it won't light up and actually charge the battery. The drill is very strong. I use it in place of a tire iron in my paper route cars for the occasional flat tire. quite powerful, but abysmal battery life under heavy use October 20, 2015 can take off even the most impacted down lug nut after a few seconds, however the battery life goes from 6-8 wheels worth of lugnuts to 4 or less. its only a 1.5 amp hour battery, so its going to have bad battery life anyway. either way, its still a great tool for a great price and it sure beats a ratchet and breaker bar. if you are concerned with battery life, i would recommend getting a corded version. Cheap, works, but not as strong as advertised August 12, 2015 I've used this now to do a full tire rotation and it worked pretty well. While it claims up to 240 ftlbs, I found it had a hard time breaking the lugnuts which are torqued to 89. After the first wheel I did a quick break with the iron and then used this the rest of the way. Likewise, retorquing the lugs resulted in a final measurement of roughly 80 ftlbs and I had to use my regular torque wrench for the last ten pounds. The battery held up just fine for a total of ten cycles of five lugs on and off and was as strong at the end as the beginning. Since this is the first usage I'll update down the road regarding battery life or any other issues. Excellent service June 27, 2015 I don't know whether the wrench is the highest quality wrench I could get my hands on, but I'm only using it on my scooter and not very often. If you are purchasing this for a heavy duty purpose, I have no advice for you. What I will say and why I am rating it in the first place is that when I ordered it, it was delivered promptly. I appreciate that. Both my brother and son told me that I needed a more expensive one but this worked great! I can charge it up October 20, 2014 I got this to lower the jacks on my camper. Both my brother and son told me that I needed a more expensive one but this worked great! I can charge it up, throw it in the storage bin of the camper, use it on arrival and stow it again in the case. Then, when I'm ready to break the campsite, I can pull it out and voila! All done with one charge. |
Three Star Reviews: | 7% Worth the price if not for heavy work. December 7, 2016 I needed it to loosen the nut holding the clutch on a cub cadet mower so that I could replace the transmission drive belt. It got the job done. Light duty jobs only September 6, 2016 It works for light duty jobs. Make sure you have a 12v plug accessible. I used it to loosen a clutch basket bolt on my motorcycle. A couple whacks, and it was off. the bad thing is that I didn't realized it has only ... November 24, 2015 This is an ok wrench, the bad thing is that I didn't realized it has only the connector for a cigarrete adapter, I had to buy an adaptor to hook it to a regular electrical adapter. Makes an impression January 4, 2013 First time use was to change a tire... surprised at how well it loosened lug nut; with the caveat that it took many hits. More so than an equivalent air wrench. So as a put it in the trunk as another option, good idea. But I would still keep a good lug wrench and pipe extension also.As for quality, I give it a C+. Concerned a little about the cigarette lighter plug cord longevity; could be longer also. Not for High Torqued Lug Nuts! November 8, 2012 After reading the good reviews on this product, I bought one. I tried it out on my Ford F-150 has lug nuts torqued to 150 Ft-Lbs. It would not loosen them. I then tried it out on my Hyundai Genesis which has wheel lug nuts torqued to 80 Ft.-Lbs. It loosened them very well after two or three hammer blows by the impact wrench. The specs. on the wrench says it will impact with up to 228 Ft.-Lbs of torque. Don't believe it. I will carry the impact wrench in my Hyundai Genesis as it works on it's lug nut, but I have a $25 breaker bar stored inside my Ford 150 for the heavy work, So beware of it's limitations when yoy buy this impact gun, only use it for lower torque applications. This Kawasaki B841337 1/2 inch Impact 12-Volt Wrench Kit was purrchased from Amazon.I checked all torque nuts on both vehicles with a torque wrench to make sure they were to factory specs. before I tried to loosen them with the impact wrench. | 9% Battery charger went bad in about a year December 1, 2016 Battery charger went bad in about a year. Can't buy a replacement charger. You have to buy a new kit. Torqu and battery are meh December 31, 2015 Does not have the torque power I expected. Battery life is crap. I bought to use while changing the ball joints and it could not crack the nuts loose; I ended up doing it manually. So far so good. For light predictable use, this should do the trick for probably a year or two. December 2, 2015 Has proven effective so far. The case comes with enough free space to store some parts, bolts, lugs, etc.The battery is the worst part so far. There are STRANGE instructions that come with it. I suppose there's no overcharge protection because it states to not charge it for more than 3 hours at a time. Well, so much for my plans that involve leaving the house.Even with this considered, it has lasted through several light uses and managed to get the job done every time when properly charged. I would say it would be good to keep in your trunk to get lug nuts off quick, but that probably is not the case. My battery did not hold a charge more than a couple days after being last plugged in. Figuring that out was quite the disappointment and frustration. not bad. doesn't have quite the power I was hoping ... September 8, 2015 not bad. doesn't have quite the power I was hoping for, It wont break loose those nuts or bolts that are really tight that a double hammer neumatic would knock off but has much more power than you pay for. I think it's a bargain. don't rely on it to tighten lug nuts to spec. the lug will need another good turn to be tight enough. However, it'll zip that lug nut right into place quickly and tight enough to put the torque on it with a lug wrench which is the best way to do it anyway. Other bolts around the vehicle and home came off with ease with this unit. I'm happy with its performance! Works great, hits like a dewalt April 15, 2015 Works great, hits like a dewalt. Keep an eye on how long you let the battery charge, it doesn't shut off. I would suggest just letting it charge 3-4 hours and take it off or it will kill the battery. |
Two Star Reviews: | 6% Could Be Better March 2, 2016 It does the job (Barley) I had to rotate tires on My Car and it took about 5-8 mins per tire to get the lugs off. This does the windup and hits like a hammer action. So it has to whind up them hit like 10-15 times to get one lug off. I Had a similar one in the past that was alot stronger. Also when installing lugs you still have to make sure they are tight with a cross wrench! Works well while it lives, but has short life expectancy July 1, 2015 Purchased this in July 2013. Used it on on a total of ten times (i.e., 10 wheels removed and reinstalled). Last week, while in use it just died. What gives? I guess you always get what you pay for. Not enough power March 5, 2015 Does not have enough power. I tried to take the lug nuts off my Jeep Cherokee and had to clank it about 40 times before it loosened the lugnuts. On some it was not able to loosen them. I will order a breaker bar instead and return the Wrench. Low quality parts inside August 28, 2013 It does work and it loosens the lugs on my civic. But dont expect it to work on suv's or if you get lucky, it will just take some time. The manual says " remove only 2 wheels at a time and let it rest for 10 minutes before proceeding so that the tool will last" The motor heats up but you wont feel it immediately coz theres no fan to bring the hot air out. Prolonged use will surely burn the windings.Sounds like not a strong product.Price is good, but still expensive for the quality of materials used.Update: January 11 2014.So after months of having the impact wrench, its still running despite a few times of usage. The impact wrench gains momentum so it can have power upon impact. The problem with the one I purchase, sometimes it gives a strong impact and most of the times weak impact. Weak impact occurs when the machines spinning weight catches with the front mechanism in short span of time. It means the wrench has not yet gained speed when the impact occurs. Most of the times, its acting up like this. One day I opened up the unit to grease the moving parts. What I found out, there was not a trace of oil or grease inside the rotating shafts in contact. This a sign of poor quality of work. Surely this wrench was not intended to last a long time. After greasing all metal to metal contact points, the wrench could now gain speed faster. But not everyone can open their wrench to put grease on them.Another point-- The motor inside doesnt have a cooling fan in it. You cannot use it for prolonged periods. One time I could smell the scent of varnish after a few minutes of use and decided to stop before the wrench fries. For occasional use or emergency tire replacements, this wrench will be enough. Don't expect more from it.Update: March 19, 2014Open it up and see what's insideThe impact mechanism works by spinning a weight together with the motor. On the weight itself, there is an attached mechanism that will extend a rod outwards to hammer the front shaft. This mechanism works by the action of centrifugal force on the rod itself. If the rod extends prematurely (still low motor speed), the the impact will be less powerful and vise versa. Very small changes in the mechanisms weight and frictional forces will affect the engagement speed. That's why some people got good torque and some with very little torque. It means not all of you future buyers will be lucky. For those giving good reviews for this product, I can't blame you. You've been lucky this time, and for occasional use, the tool is fine. I just wish that you could see what is inside this tool and tell the other customers if the parts looks strong or not. I think it is not. No blower, no bearings. The price is really low compared to other impact wrenches. But if you plan on using this more often, I suggest you go for the 120V version. I already did. | 7% It worked good. Till it's dropped 2 feet off the ground ... March 14, 2017 It worked good. Till it's dropped 2 feet off the ground or knock over. Broke the foward and reverse switch and the casing on the battery Battery does not stay charged January 1, 2016 I bought this for my son. He fully charged the battery. He went to use it to take lug-nuts off of a car and the battery went dead after taking the first lug-nut off. I am returning this item and I am not satisfied with this product. power is ok but the battery life sucks. September 4, 2015 I was doing tire rotation on my mazda 5 and after 3 tire, the battery went out and needed to be recharged. power is ok but the battery life sucks. No power May 19, 2015 This thing could not remove the lug nuts on my Subaru that are only tightened to 80 foot pounds. Garbage in my eyes & it was returned for refund |
One Star Reviews: | 21% impact wrench defective March 15, 2017 I bought this impact gun sometime back to put in my truck in case I had a flat tire and needed to remove tire and install the replacement. This tool is absolutely worthless. It would function with my hand around the socket. I either want my money back or a replacement. The tool is in the exact condition as when you ship it. Broke after one set of tires. March 3, 2017 Good for the price but vibrates alot like its misaligned. Broke after one tire set change. Failed to work first time. February 21, 2017 Dead out of the box. Motor turns slowly and does not engage the driver. I bought this to put in our truck and was depending on it to help my wife change a tire if she needed to. The item failed on the first time,,,,, Dead on arrival August 5, 2016 Dead on arrival. Only make clicking sound for few seconds, then completely dead. You get what you pay for. March 1, 2015 This really isn't worth the plastic it's made from. I got one wheel, and one lug from a second wheel off my car before this thing died, never to turn again. Do yourself a favor and invest a few more dollars to get one that's not a one-time-use. Piece of Junk dont waste your money February 16, 2013 This is a piece of junk wont unloosen anything and just loud clicking when tightening....i wouldnt recommend this to my enemy..bought one and gave it away...to my brother in law....he used it and said for free he cant complain.. but not worth the $40.00 i paid for this crap....Folks dont waste your money on this...pay more and get something better. | 23% No good. May 26, 2017 Very disappointed this would not take the lug nuts off my car they were at 80 lbs but it work for putting up the Jack's on my t.v. So I kept it now battery won't charge. Just a waste of money!! It is useless so DO NOT BUY May 16, 2017 I bought this impact driver to remove blades on my Z turn lawnmower. I worked the first year. I only change blades once a year.. I used it the second year and it would not remove the nut so I had to remove by hand. I thought it may have been misthreaded nut. I tried using it recently, aka 5/15/17 and it did not slipped and did not impact to remove the nut. It now only works as a drill. It is useless so DO NOT BUY. I would give it less than a one if possible. I should take some pictures to show you how unused and new looking it is. Weak and useless July 6, 2016 Horrible tool - I cannot tell whether it was broken or just weak. The one I bought was spinning free with almost no torque and could only spin off pre-loosened fasteners. I had to resort back to my 12V emergency torque wrench. I presume this is one of the cases where you indeed get what you've paid for. I torque all my lug nuts myself so I knew that the one on the car were 90 ft/lbs and the lawn mower blade was a mere 45. None of which could even be remotely removed despite a hell of a noise generated by the tool. I can also confirm the problems of other reviewers regarding the proper seating of your impact sockets: most of mine were sitting loose, some even to the point of wobbling. Does not last June 16, 2016 I purchase this product in September 2015 and used it 5 times, however, each time used it was weaker. I believe that this is due to the battery, which does not seem to recharge properly. Today on it's 5th use, and after several hours of charging, the battery was weak and could maintain enough charge remove a hand tightened bolt. Now, I am stuck with a tool that does not work. There is no warranty details available on the site. Warning! - DO NOT BUY! January 27, 2016 Do not buy this product!Does not fit 1/2" sockets that I have - gave it as a gift and only found out later when a friend and I tried to use it together. By that time it was past amazon's return date on electrical items. Do not buy this item - worthless to me unless I take a grinding wheel to it, and then I might be compromising the strength of the tool - leaving myself open to things failing and possibly hurting someone. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Not for Cars August 22, 2015 Does not deliver as it states. Looks good, feels nice in your hands. The anvil is not too heavy, but if I have to use a breaker bar for this to work I can use my impact drill or a regular drill to loosen and tighten if Im going to use the breaker bar and the beginnig or the end. I need something that would beast my lug nuts off and on without a breaker bar. I was excited to use this. I saw a review on you tube. Im assuming they must of had the lugs loose already. My lugs and car arent old or rusty and I took them off and on the day before with a breaker bar and impact drill just fine. Definitely not 240 ft lbs of torque and defintiely not a satisfied customer. |
