Awesome, Killer Impact Wrench
July 19, 2016
This wrench was a TOTAL SHOCK! I had a project on my Dodge Pickup, all shocks changed plus the steering stabilizer. The front shocks needed to have the front tires removed. The first tire took two of us to loosen all eight lug nuts with the "T" or "X" wrench. The next tire I used this impact wrench. It removed the lugs with no problem. I was stunned! I then used the wrench to remove bolts and nuts from the shocks and then replace them. No problem. I only have to recommend a few suggestions. First, you need to purchase extra sockets for impact wrenches in both SAE and Metric. Then you need impact wrench extension drives. And last you need a heavy duty 10 to 12 ft. extension cable to allow you to get to the rear wheels. I must clarify that my truck is a 2003 Dodge 1 Ton Quad Cab Long Bed 4WD so I've got a long distance from my cigarette lighter to the rear wheels. Also my lug nuts are 21mm. Too large for the kits 4 socket set up. With that said I think most cars and standard trucks should be OK.
Works as claimed.
September 25, 2014
I bought this impact wrench in March 2013 and today (25th September 2014) I had cause to use it for the first time. I had to change my tire due to a flat and this impact wrench loosened the 5 studs for the 17" rim in only a few whacks of the hammer. No sweat! What was even more impressive was the fact that only a few days ago I balanced all the tires and a 1/2" drive air impact wrench was used to tighten all the studs. After installing the spare tire, I use the impact wrench to tighten back the studs with only a few hammer blows and I double checked the tightness using the tire iron supplied with the car and I was unable to get any more turn on the studs. The wrench was also comfortable to use, not heavy and with little of the impact being transmitted to my hand. The wrench comes with 4 socket heads and a handy hard shell case.
Autocrosser Review
May 12, 2014
Every month I take my car (Subaru BRZ) out to Autocross. I have a set of tires specifically for tracking that I swap out once I get to the course and this thing works like a champ! It's been about 6 months of use and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The way it works, which might throw some people off, is the motor inside spins to build up torque and then it slams the nut with a jolt of power and then repeats the process until it can spin the nut without the need to build torque. It takes maybe an extra 30 seconds over my air impact gun and it fits in a case that takes up hardly in room in my trunk. If you need an on-the-go impact wrench or if you just need an inexpensive way to swap out your winter tires, this is the gun for the job.
Excellent addition to any garage. Hard to beat the price and convenience!
February 10, 2014
The 5-star rating is based on a few factors:Price: I got this kit for $46. Out of all the automotive impact wrenches I considered, this was the best price/utility combination at that time.Convenience: if you're looking for a purely automotive impact wrench, you can't beat this. You don't need an air-compressor, hoses, etc. Just a little box that you can carry on long road trips (or have in your vehicle at all times). The cord plugs into your 12V charger socket/cigarette lighter. It is long enough to reach all four tires on most sedans. I have a truck, and I've made it all around. You can also consider buying an extension that I bought (but haven't needed to use): RoadPro RP-203EC 12V 12' Extension Cord with Cigarette Lighter PlugFunction: It is completely self-explanatory. I'm what I call a skilled automotive enthusiast. But even a novice can pick up this wrench, and know what to do with it.Accessories: The set comes with two double-end sockets, giving you four standard sizes: 11/16 and 3/4; and 13/16 and 7/8. It would be VERY unusual for anyone not to find a size that works for them (even if you're used to metric socket sizes). The set also comes with two spare fuses. My wrench hasn't blown a fuse yet, but I can see it happening. If the lugnut isn't coming off with the first 2-3 impacts, leave the trigger, wait a couple of seconds, and try again. This is an impact wrench, not a drill. It works by intermittent impacts and not by continuous application of force.Torque: This product was criticized by reviewer for lacking the claimed torque. The wrench is rated for 190 ft-lb. I think 190 covers almost every passenger sedan and light truck made in the US. The reviewer said that this wrench couldn't handle 150 ft-lb needed to loosen the lugs on his F150. Well, all I can say is - I have the same exact vehicles, and I torque the lugnuts back to 150 ft-lb if I've needed to take a wheel off. I've never found this wrench lacking the power to take a lugnut off. As for putting the nut back on, I don't rely only on an impact wrench. I give the final torque using a hand wrench Gorilla Automotive TW605 Torque Wrench that I bought from Amazon too. I can say that I've NEVER needed to turn the hand wrench more than 5 degrees before hearing the "click". That tells me that the Kawasaki is getting the lugnut pretty darn close to 150 ft-lb all by itself. All in all, I highly recommend this product.
Amazingly strong for a 12VDC device
September 2, 2013
After giving up on trying to remove an axle nut on a '99 car with a 22mm bolt and a 3' breaker bar, I was ready to replace the entire hub carrier to slip the CV out. Took a lunch break, and thought of trying this impact wrench - which I had bought for my daughter to change a flat. Put my regular socket on the tool, and put it to the nut. I was actually surprised when after a dozen hits or so, the nut came off!!! This tool is going into my tool chest, not the trunk of my daughter's car. It works!!!Is this as good as a pro-quality air impact wrench? Probably not. But I'm 220 lbs, and it's stronger than me. I'd definitely buy another.Quick aside: What the instructions don't tell you: Don't put pressure on the tool and force it into the nut you're removing. Just keep it on the nut, and let the tool do the work.
Excellent 12V impact gun
November 21, 2011
I'm very happy with this impact gun. From reviews of other 12V impact wrenches, it appears that people had problems with the product arriving DOA, or not being able to break lugnuts loose at all, blowing fuses, or burning out the motor. Some people set their expectations really high, somehow expecting it to behave or perform like an air impact wrench or even one of the 120V models.I didn't have any of the problems listed above. The impact gun arrived in its own plastic (branded Kawasaki) carrying case with molded-in placeholders for the impact gun, two double-sided impact-grade sockets (included), and two fuses (included but so far unnecessary). I unpacked it, unraveled its fair-length cord and plugged it into my vehicle's cigarette lighter. I grabbed one of the included sockets, made sure it fit the lugnuts on the car, and attached it to the gun. There is a push-pull side-to-side kind of switch that determines the direction the impact gun spins. I made sure that was set for REMOVING the lug nuts. Mind you, these lugnuts were impacted on by the last shop I took my car to.I pulled the trigger. Spiiiiiiiiiiiin-CLANK. Spiiiiiiin-CLANK. Spiiiiin-spin-spin-spin. Lug nut removed. About 10 seconds, not bad at all. Tried the next lug nut. Same performance. The motor spools up for a second, accelerates a few internal weights, then releases its energy by hammering the lug nut. Depending on which direction you have it set to spin, it will hammer the lug nut until it spins completely off the wheel stud, or it will spin the lug nut onto the stud and hammer at it until you decide it's tight enough. This gun's seen intermittent use in the past few weeks, being passed between me and a friend while we work on our projects in my driveway and garage. The cord length is somewhere in the 8-10 foot range. I have a small 12V, 7.5Ah sealed lead-acid battery that I've connected a spare vehicle power outlet/cigarette lighter to. This allows me to position the battery and impact gun near whatever car I'm working on, without worrying about draining the battery. Speaking of my worry of draining the battery: that worry proved to be for nothing. I've used the same little SLA battery since I received the impact gun, and haven't charged it at all. The performance of the impact gun is unchanged. As far as build quality, it has a very solid feel to it, with a good weight to it as well.My feedback to the people who are looking for a 12V impact gun that matches (or even comes CLOSE) to an airgun: Look elsewhere. 12 volts has its limitations. If you want the instantaneous, divine un-torquing, bolt breaking, apocalypse-inducing power associated with air impact guns, look elsewhere. Keep your expectations realistic: An inexpensive 12V impact gun that will significantly lessen the strain on your back and arms. A 12V impact gun that will do the job several times faster than you could even if you had a breaker bar. A 12V impact gun that will last.Bottom line: If you're looking for an impact gun that will save your back and arm from the usual strain involved with breaking lug nuts (or any other heavily torqued bolts) free, this will reliably do it faster than you ever could while using very little power.-------UPDATE 2/23/2016: This impact gun died a horrible death a couple years ago, while I completed a job this was never meant to do. I assisted a friend with replacing balljoints on his 2000 Ford Taurus. This impact gun was used to remove all lugnuts from wheels, remove the 30mm axle nuts from the front wheels, press new balljoints into control arms, and replace the 30mm axle nuts. The impact gun began to wobble and rattle, very evidently less balanced, in the last few impacts to the axle nut as it was torqued back into place. When the trigger was pressed afterward, the motor could be heard accelerating, but it was no longer transmitting torque to the 1/2" drive. The impact gun was done for.I will not drop any stars for this, as the impact gun wasn't designed to do all the work I set before it, in the duty cycle I forced upon it. I am impressed that it was able to complete the job I gave it, and it was money well-spent. No regrets.

Great set of Sockets!
August 26, 2017
A really good set of sockets for the price. They're not fancy but they get the job done. Not a lot of play or wobble when attached to a wrench or extension. I've seen no wear or signs of breakage even though they get plenty of use on an impact wrench. The case they come with is pretty basic but it works. The sockets had some coating of oil still on them from the factory, so wipe them down when you get them. I would highly recommend them.
Heavy duty, well made works great! If you need a specific size, make sure to check the size list in the description.

Heavy duty, well made works great!
One note. If you are buying these needing a specific size, check the listing for what sizes are included. They have the most common sizes, but if you are looking for a 15mm to remove the transmission mount off the skid plate on a 95 wrangler YJ, you will be out of luck. I didn't remove any stars for this because it was my mistake, the sizes are clearly listed in the details.

I hammered on these with my 1/2 air gun and took very rusty bolts out of the skid plate mounts. No wear on the socket and no stress fractures.
Great quality and a good price
May 8, 2017
This impact socket set contained all the sockets I needed to remove stubborn metric bolts from my rusted on caliper brackets. Each socket is nicely labeled and the blow molded socket box is great quality and way better than the quality of the "socket tree" that some cheaper brands like harbor freight come with.
Good basic set
March 10, 2017
Great set. I should have read the description because doing a job last weekend I needed 18mm for many applications on a Jeep. I had to run to Lowe's and pay over $5 for one.

Overall, this is a very good set but if there was a next time, I'd purchase a more complete set.
Very good impact sockets, nice plastic carrier
January 10, 2012
I do all my own repair and maintenance on my vehicles, which currently number 6... All except my boat are foreign vehicles, and I finally got around to getting a set of deep impact sockets in metric... (Since impact sockets are six sided, you can get by with SAE sizes, but it's far from ideal... :) )

These sockets are good. The finish on the sockets doesn't match quite exactly, but that's really not an issue. Some are a little flatter black than others... Apparently they were made either in separate batches or they were made at different subcontractors, but they don't all look like they came from the same set... But they are well made and sized exactly right... (Some sockets are a little tighter or looser than the standard, but these are dead on. I measured them with an inside micrometer; they are dead on with the spec.)

If I had a wish list, I would have made this set include a 25mm socket and drop the 10mm. I have never seen a 10mm bolt that I actually needed an impact socket for. If the bolt is extremely tight, I would just grab a 6 sided regular socket to remove it.

Since I have a very large collection of sockets and these are deep sockets, I didn't have room in my toolbox drawer that I have all my sockets in... I knew I wouldn't, and that's why I wanted a set that came in some sort of holder or box that I can store in the cabinet where I keep my impact wrenches. The box is nice, two locking tabs and a handle to grab it with. The standard spring loaded socket holders won't work with these, they are far too heavy and will just fall off.

Very happy with these sockets.

I am using it as an actuator for a flight simulator and have not actually tested it with a car, but it seems to work fine, has a nice case and if it even comes close to its rated specs then it would be a great convenience if one had a flat tire.
Good addition to my garage
March 12, 2015
Good addition to my garage ,lifts the front end on a g35 pretty good, good replacement for a common floor jack, no problems as of yet , I have used the autojack 30 to 40 times on different cars,so far its good , came with black case ,extra fuse and lowering handle, don't need the extra's but its nice to have .
Great for our specific use.
July 27, 2014
Works GREAT for what I bought it for. In my RV, I adapted our queen bed so that one half of it can rise so we can be in a reclining position for watching movies (better than bolt upright at the dinette). This jack went under the bed (in the storage area). It is at the downward peak of a triangle board that rides up on the plywood bed support. With the remote snaked through to our pillow area, it is very easy to raise and lower our bed! Quite frankly, don't know how it would do at it's rated capacity.

USE MY TIP TO MAKE THIS WORK.
October 4, 2017
Had to return it, but had I known this trick which is, when using this DO NOT PRESS the socket into the wheel lug or whatever you are trying to remove, put the lug on then squeeze the trigger it winds up the motor(prob. a capacitor) since it is made to run on a car 12 volt at 10amp or 15amp (max for a cigarette lighter) DONT FORGET TO KEEP YOUR MOTOR RUNNING!!!!.It will wind up the motor then send a pulse that will try to break your nut loose, on a car let it do this about 5-6 times to loosen the lug. This is why the mfc wants you to let the gun cool down it gets warm since the current has to build up (again I think in a capacitor) once you try it 6x6 that's 36....Also, watch the lug as you don't want to loosen the lugs a lot while the car is being supported (ie not on a jack) otherwise, you could snap or bend the wheel lugs themselves!!!!!
Reasonable tool for its intended purpose.
June 13, 2017
This tool worked well initially. Ultimately the screws holding it together came out (stripped). It still works with the addition of several wraps of duct tape.
great purchase, saved me time, effort and dirty hands
January 17, 2017
it worked! i had a tired blow on my popup trailer and i used this to remove and put on the nuts without any issues. it works by spinning up and once it gets fast enough, it impacts the wrench which will the either budge a bit or free-spin until it slows down or gets hit again. not like a pneumatic impact wrench at tire stores or service stations, but worked really well and my hands didn't get dirty!
Very Portable
September 16, 2014
Been using this for two months now with no problem. I do own an air impact gun, but this has become my go to tools for my small car repair because of its portability. It is able to break 80 ft/lb torqued lug nuts after 2 -3 hammer blows and for me, this is better than firing up my 20 gal compressor when all I need to do is to loosen 12 nuts. One star less for not including metric sockets. Took it to a recent 2400 miles trip. Did not get that chance to use it but I know it will save my back from breaking those nuts if need be.
Great tool - for what it is
February 1, 2014
I purchased this because I often can not undo the wheel nuts on my car after it has been to a garage. They use a pneumatic impact wrench and always over-tighten them. Recently, they were done up so tight, I used all my physical strength until I could feel the breaker bar start to bend and the nuts still would not come off. There was absolutely no way they were coming off by anything human powered.I purchased this impact wrench and it got all the wheel nuts off. Some of them took about half a minute or so to loosen, but they all came off eventually. I found the tool doesn't work so well if you press it hard into the wheel. It also helps if it aligned correctly with the wheel (i.e. not angled up or down, left or right, but straight on). This is not a high powered, heavy duty tool. You can only get about 100w max out of a cigarette lighter after all. Compared to a pneumatic / mains / battery powered impact wrench, it is rubbish. But compared to straining with breaker bar to the point that the bar starts to bend, this is a great tool and I'm really glad I purchased it.
Good product, if you understand its limitations
January 8, 2013
I must admit that I bought this hoping it would help free a stubborn lug nut, and it didn't. However, I was dealing with a severely overtorqued lug that required an adapter, so physics was working against the impact wrench. I can't rightly fault the tool for that, although it's a bit less powerful than the Amazon reviews had led me to believe. One word of caution: do NOT operate this gun for extended periods. It will start smoking (although no damage seems to have occurred). You really don't want to hold it for more than like 3 or 4 whacks, and if it hasn't loosened the lug after that, it probably won't. I made the mistake of going at it for a bit, and repeatedly, and it turned out that the lug was just way too tight to have hope of removing it with this gun. I had to use a breaker bar to get the lug off. Side note: don't let anyone torque your lug nuts that tight. It's a solid gun, with a nice long cord that should easily reach all four tires. You may need a different socket for your lug nuts (I can't remember what this comes with). My only problem is now that I've got the breaker to get the lugs off, I no longer need this impact wrench. Oh well. Buy this if you're tired of turning a lug wrench and want a quicker way to change a flat.

Great Sockets, Just Missing a Few in the Set
March 16, 2017
I know this is ridiculous and I should read the description, but the set is missing an 18, 20, and 23. Kind of strange to not include these, and of course I needed an 18 for the first job I was doing....

Other than that, great impact set and way cheaper than any other brand but about 50%. Will be getting the 18, 20, and 23 separately to round off the set.
Great value-to-quality ratio.
February 1, 2017
Didn't care for the grease that comes on them, but it's a solid set for the money. I mainly wanted a quick access set for my torque wrenches when working on my motorcycle and I also needed a 6pt 24mm which my big set didn't have. Covers everything I need in a durable plastic case that fits in my bike with my torque wrench.

Packaging and cleanup was inconvenient, but I'm happy with the ratio of value to quality.
Not chrome vanadium/black powder coated
August 27, 2016
These are a good value. However, they are not Chrome vanadium/black powder coated as shown in the picture. My set looks like the industrial Pittsburgh impact set that you find at Harbor Freight where oil will soak in rather than simply wipe away. Regardless, they work fine and are significantly cheaper in price than the Harbor Freight brand.

If you're looking for a nice similar set that is indeed Chrome vanadium/black powder coated, check out the Ingersoll Rand SK4M14L set here on Amazon. However, note that set costs $65.
Strong set, but could be more complete. Needs a stronger carrying case.
February 18, 2015
Great set, nice and robust. I don't think I'll be needing replacements any time soon, however, two things keep this from being a 5 star set:
1. This is a decently sized set for the money ($22), and even though it includes the sizes in the description, the lack of 15, 18 and 20mm sockets makes this a hard set to finish off later. I really needed a 20mm, although I didn't realize I needed it until I got into the job. It's my fault, but still makes this set less attractive than a truly consecutive one.
2. The case this set comes in is certainly handy (so is the handle), however, mine opened during shipping, despite the extra metal screw to hold it closed. By the time I got it, only 1 of the sockets was actually still in the case, and the box had opened. Luckily, they all stayed inside the box. The sockets were just too heavy for the case given the typical UPS treatment, but it also makes me concerned that it could do that to me should I drop it.
This is a great set, just not perfect.

September 10, 2015
The first time I used it, it got stuck in the up position. I had to use another jack to lift the car off of this jack. The stop switch ( which lets the jack know when it has reached the max height) froze. Fortunately my wife is an electrician and recognized the problem. I was going to send it back.

Being handicapped and not being able to climb steps. I converted the jack into a lift. At this point and time. Everything seems to be working well for what I purchased it for.
Works well after repairing it
April 10, 2014
I bought this jack because one day I came into the garage and found the right front tire was flat, due to a bad filler plug. After jacking it up to repair it, with the provided manual jack, I concluded I would never do that again, and checked out Amazon. After receiving the jack, it worked intermittently by having to jiggle the power cable. It lifted the car with no problem, with plenty of power, but I was concerned about the intermittent action. I figured that there was something wrong with the wiring. After lowering the car and checking out the connections, I found the wire was not properly soldered to the cigarette/fuse plug. I rewired the system, soldered it in place and the system now works perfectly. What can you say, Chinese made with hurried assembly. It is now riding in my trunk in a very nice solid case, hopefully, never to be used again. Oh yes, carry a 1'x4"x4" and or a 1'x2"x6" piece of timber to set the jack on for road side needs, just in case. Stable platform sometimes needed on a gravel road.

May 20, 2013
Kind of cool to have a jack that does not have the need for endless pumping. I removed the top seat and installed a plate for a "flat" support that I can use more universally. I can still replace the plate with the original rotating seat by two bolts. I have not used it for jacking up my car yet, but it is handy for lifting other large machines I have designed. It is a bit slow and noisy but that is mostly irrelevant. The control is inline with the power cord and a light indicates that it is powered up, so it does drain a battery by just being plugged in. There should be a switch to disengage the power and leave the jack in position. All in all I would recommend this item so far...

January 4, 2013
First time use was to change a tire... surprised at how well it loosened lug nut; with the caveat that it took many hits. More so than an equivalent air wrench. So as a put it in the trunk as another option, good idea. But I would still keep a good lug wrench and pipe extension also.As for quality, I give it a C+. Concerned a little about the cigarette lighter plug cord longevity; could be longer also.
Not for High Torqued Lug Nuts!
November 8, 2012
After reading the good reviews on this product, I bought one. I tried it out on my Ford F-150 has lug nuts torqued to 150 Ft-Lbs. It would not loosen them. I then tried it out on my Hyundai Genesis which has wheel lug nuts torqued to 80 Ft.-Lbs. It loosened them very well after two or three hammer blows by the impact wrench. The specs. on the wrench says it will impact with up to 228 Ft.-Lbs of torque. Don't believe it. I will carry the impact wrench in my Hyundai Genesis as it works on it's lug nut, but I have a $25 breaker bar stored inside my Ford 150 for the heavy work, So beware of it's limitations when yoy buy this impact gun, only use it for lower torque applications. This Kawasaki B841337 1/2 inch Impact 12-Volt Wrench Kit was purrchased from Amazon.I checked all torque nuts on both vehicles with a torque wrench to make sure they were to factory specs. before I tried to loosen them with the impact wrench.

August 23, 2017
I got this to change the timing belt on my Toyota. the 14mm socket is used a lot for that application. My 14mm socket is lightly stamped and there is no way a 14mm bolt head is going to fit in it, but a 13mm bolt head will??? I think this one was dropped off the production line at the factory and was mis-stamped at the factory? I'll be seeing what I can do to get it corrected, no fault of the seller, more a fault of Stanley tools I think. Otherwise a very nice set of sockets that I will probably use my whole life.
Great but missing a couple key sizes
June 19, 2017
Nice set, just wish they wouldn't have skipped the 18mm and 20mm. If they absolutely had to skip a couple it would make a lot more sense to skip the 11mm and 13mm since I'm far less likely to be slamming those smaller sizes with a 1/2" impact, or if I did I'm more comfortable using my standard 11mm and 13mm since they wouldn't be on all that tight anyway.
The work but doesn't include 18mm beware

Who the heck doesn't include a 18 mm! Case doesn't last

March 20, 2017
Seems like a good enough set for the money but it skips the 15mm size for some reason. I bought this to do replace my shocks and guess what size I needed...15mm. In all fairness, it says what sizes are included in the description and 15mm is not listed in there. Still, I just don't get a set that skips sizes.
Problem is sizes they don't include
August 9, 2016
Quality seems OK but why leave out 15, 18, & 20 mm sockets?- not like you never use those sizes. Get rid of the 10, 11, & 12 mm- not that useful and a bit overkill thinking you'd really need a 1/2" torque wrench for those size fasteners. Just picking up those 3 individual sockets at Sears cost more than this set. Hindsight is better spending a bit more and getting a complete range.

Suitable for small cars only
February 10, 2017
Suitable for light cars only. Wimpy motor struggles to lift one front wheel of a Honda CRV but gets the job done. Completely stalls out attempting to lift one rear wheel of a Ford Explorer. Unable to raise the axle enough to change a tire.

Some Information Misleading
June 2, 2014
On Amazon and another site it is said or implied that the remote control cord is also 12 feet. IT IS NOT. It is maybe 3 feet. I purchased this item to make something other than using for an automotive jack and the remote needed to be the advertised 12 feet. I had to spend an additional $30 plus and considerable time to extend the wiring. It was 5 light gauge wires and could not be extended from the controller, it had to be spliced into the cord. Just venting here about the misinformation. I'm sure the jack works as intended, to lift an automobile.
Works ok
September 16, 2011
Tried to incorporate the jack in another project - just not sturdy, powerful, or fast enough. Will be "ok" as an emergency car jack, but don't expect it to last very long.

Could Be Better
March 2, 2016
It does the job (Barley) I had to rotate tires on My Car and it took about 5-8 mins per tire to get the lugs off. This does the windup and hits like a hammer action. So it has to whind up them hit like 10-15 times to get one lug off. I Had a similar one in the past that was alot stronger. Also when installing lugs you still have to make sure they are tight with a cross wrench!
Works well while it lives, but has short life expectancy
July 1, 2015
Purchased this in July 2013. Used it on on a total of ten times (i.e., 10 wheels removed and reinstalled). Last week, while in use it just died. What gives? I guess you always get what you pay for.
Not enough power
March 5, 2015
Does not have enough power. I tried to take the lug nuts off my Jeep Cherokee and had to clank it about 40 times before it loosened the lugnuts. On some it was not able to loosen them. I will order a breaker bar instead and return the Wrench.
Low quality parts inside
August 28, 2013
It does work and it loosens the lugs on my civic. But dont expect it to work on suv's or if you get lucky, it will just take some time. The manual says " remove only 2 wheels at a time and let it rest for 10 minutes before proceeding so that the tool will last" The motor heats up but you wont feel it immediately coz theres no fan to bring the hot air out. Prolonged use will surely burn the windings.Sounds like not a strong product.Price is good, but still expensive for the quality of materials used.Update: January 11 2014.So after months of having the impact wrench, its still running despite a few times of usage. The impact wrench gains momentum so it can have power upon impact. The problem with the one I purchase, sometimes it gives a strong impact and most of the times weak impact. Weak impact occurs when the machines spinning weight catches with the front mechanism in short span of time. It means the wrench has not yet gained speed when the impact occurs. Most of the times, its acting up like this. One day I opened up the unit to grease the moving parts. What I found out, there was not a trace of oil or grease inside the rotating shafts in contact. This a sign of poor quality of work. Surely this wrench was not intended to last a long time. After greasing all metal to metal contact points, the wrench could now gain speed faster. But not everyone can open their wrench to put grease on them.Another point-- The motor inside doesnt have a cooling fan in it. You cannot use it for prolonged periods. One time I could smell the scent of varnish after a few minutes of use and decided to stop before the wrench fries. For occasional use or emergency tire replacements, this wrench will be enough. Don't expect more from it.Update: March 19, 2014Open it up and see what's insideThe impact mechanism works by spinning a weight together with the motor. On the weight itself, there is an attached mechanism that will extend a rod outwards to hammer the front shaft. This mechanism works by the action of centrifugal force on the rod itself. If the rod extends prematurely (still low motor speed), the the impact will be less powerful and vise versa. Very small changes in the mechanisms weight and frictional forces will affect the engagement speed. That's why some people got good torque and some with very little torque. It means not all of you future buyers will be lucky. For those giving good reviews for this product, I can't blame you. You've been lucky this time, and for occasional use, the tool is fine. I just wish that you could see what is inside this tool and tell the other customers if the parts looks strong or not. I think it is not. No blower, no bearings. The price is really low compared to other impact wrenches. But if you plan on using this more often, I suggest you go for the 120V version. I already did.

i buy and electric AC/DC addaptor so I did not have to have my car running when i make repair my car at home, unfortunately this do not work. the jack will not lift......
jack work only if the car is running.......this is not a safe way ...
I'll pass on this one
December 20, 2013
This thing is noisy, grinding away and slowing like it might stop. It struggled to lift one corner of my 2012 Corrolla. My coinfidence in this jack is low and I was afraid it would only be good for one emergency tire change before it broke down. Maybe I got a lemon but I do not consider this to be the best money I've spent on a tool in recent years.

impact wrench defective
March 15, 2017
I bought this impact gun sometime back to put in my truck in case I had a flat tire and needed to remove tire and install the replacement. This tool is absolutely worthless. It would function with my hand around the socket. I either want my money back or a replacement. The tool is in the exact condition as when you ship it.

Dead out of the box. Motor turns slowly and does not engage the driver. I bought this to put in our truck and was depending on it to help my wife change a tire if she needed to. The item failed on the first time,,,,,

Dead on arrival. Only make clicking sound for few seconds, then completely dead.
You get what you pay for.
March 1, 2015
This really isn't worth the plastic it's made from. I got one wheel, and one lug from a second wheel off my car before this thing died, never to turn again. Do yourself a favor and invest a few more dollars to get one that's not a one-time-use.
Piece of Junk dont waste your money

March 10, 2015
The product seems fine, but instead of a 17mm socket (the most common use one for me) it came with two 16mm sockets instead. Obviously a quality issue in the packing. The quality of the product seems fine. Just frustrating to not have the correct sockets it should have.
Some are hard to read, not quite as pictured
August 1, 2011
Some of the sockets engraved markings are hard to read. The photo on Amazon makes the sockets appear to have a nice finished surface, which is also not the case. Socket 14mm appears to have a bit of a casting/forging imperfection and is not readable. Compared to my Pittsburgh SAE set, these look like a child made them. I expected something with the "Stanley" label to be a higher quality to that of it's generic counterparts. I am sure they will work, but now I wish I got the 13 piece Pittsburgh Metric set rather than this set.I own a Sunex 3680 12 Piece 3/8" Deep Drive SAE 12 Point Impact Socket Set, they deserve 5 stars and are what I expected these Stanley sockets to be on-par to (based on the photo they look of the same quality and finish).Update: I've purchased the 13 piece Pittsburgh Metric set to complement this set. The other set includes sizes 10, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 27, 30 and 32. The end result is 8 duplicate sockets sizes 10, 13, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, three of which are common lug nut sizes. Combining these two sets to make one well rounded set is the way to go.Had this Stanley set not had poorly made 13 and 14mm sockets in my set I would have given it 4-5 stars. The rest of the sockets are ok for the price I paid.

NOPE, bad buy.
June 20, 2015
First off the box looked like it was shipped via dropping it out of a plane into my yard. So reluctantly I opened it and gave it a chance. By the way there's a warning on the power cord that informs you to wash your hands because its made with lead. Plugged it in, because waiting to see if it works until an emergency is just bad planning right? Well good call on my part as it stuck in the upright position and stayed there. Now it wont fit back into the box it came in so lets hope UPS is willing to get this thing boxed and sent back.
