A+ Passed all tests
May 6, 2017
After five full working days of use, these gloves have exceeded expectations and passed all tests.I work with vehicle parts, and in wet, dirty, greasy conditions - all while using a scanner. They have not shown any wear, especially in the stitching, where other brands of gloves have failed miserably. I can also use the touch screen on the scanner while wearing these gloves. They dried fast after working in the rain this week. Good buy.
Good grip, ergonomic
April 9, 2017
Good grip, ergonomic, flexible, soft on the inside. Okay for use in hot weather, but not insulated for winter (I used them in winter anyway with hot hands or other gloves). Fit well for a small woman's hands with the same quality as most large men's gloves, unlike a lot of sub-par protective equipment made for women or small sizes. Stand up well to washing and daily use. Protect well from the kind of sharp objects you typically come across in an abandoned building or construction site, including bits of glass and thorns. Also good for touching metal objects that have been out in the sun. You can manipulate the fingers easily for most grasping tasks, and you can still feel enough through them to know that you're grabbing what you want to grab if you're in a dark crawlspace or something. Touch screen use works occasionally, but not reliable (pretty much what I expect from any brand that makes that claim - the only protective gloves I would expect to really be touch screen compatible are those with removable finger tips). Water will eventually go through them, but if you accidentally put your hands on some snow or in a puddle, your hand won't get wet immediately.
These gloves are fantastic. I purchased these for walking my dog
March 28, 2017
These gloves are fantastic. I purchased these for walking my dog, a 165 lb Alaskan malamute that is hard to handle. I have found myself wearing these gloves for many other daily tasks, like taking out garbage, cleaning up in the yard and gardening. These gloves are especially good for trimming shrubs and rosebushes where you need flexibility and dexterity but you also need protection from injury also. These glove provide protection and provide easy maneuverability and flexibility. They have padding where needed and make daily task, especially walking my hard to handle dog, easier.
Good for the everyday handyman and crafter
May 9, 2016
I've put these to the test. Working with sharp cans they weren't as sturdy as I wished but the touching sensation with these while making art are as good as I could wish for. They're are still my favorite gloves after about two months and that says something.Update November 2016:I still love these gloves. Picking apart pallets, making candle holders, spray painting, it all gets done wearing these. I work with sharp, rusty or rough material and they wear out quickly but last pretty long. I have three pairs and these are still my favorite. Tested more expensive ones for mechanics and woodworkers but non beat the comfort and flexibility of these.
Great value, especially if you work with tools all day!
March 30, 2016
I work as a landscaper and deal with varying kinds of equipment on a daily basis, for hours on end as well as pulling weeds that can have thorns. These are great at it all, they are thick enough to prevent most thorns from hitting me, while being thin and light enough that I can freely move my hand and fingers as if there were no glove to begin with. They are alright to keep your hands warm, but not great. I was extremely surprised as they were an absolute perfect fit, I couldn't have gotten closer unless I went to the store and spend 20 minutes trying on each size to find one to my liking.I love that they have a soft cloth both inside and out, so if you have an itch on your face it doesn't feel like rough or hard rubber scratching you, rather a gentle cloth, same with when you wear them, they feel quite soft and are easy to forget you even wear them.I have used them for about a week, and will update this review on how long they last before they begin to wear down.Overall, for the price they are superb!
Work great for fishing!
October 29, 2015
I bought these to use while fishing (inshore salt water). My main reason (besides sun protection) was that while fishing my hands stay wet, which means they're more tender than normal and I don't feel the half finger gloves give me enough protection. Then when I get home, my hands are sore for days just from the sharp objects I encounter. Most fishing gloves have the fingertips missing. I wanted something that covered the whole hand and had some dexterity (if I need more, I can take one off). We do a lot of bay fishing where we pull up to a spot and drop anchor, so when we're done, I need the gloves to be tough to handle the anchor rope. I have used these twice since I purchases them and I love them. The synthetic leather seems to hold up well to the tough wet conditions. I don't have to worry about getting jabbed by hooks, bait and all the other sharp objects (pretty much everything) in the boat or bay. I wore them for a few hours and decided to take them off again to compare and I felt completely vulnerable and quickly put them back onUpdate 5/5/17 - after almost 2 seasons of saltwater fishing and a few hundred anchor pulls, they are still doing great! No ripped seams and surprisingly no holes at all! The biggest surprise is that the left thumb doesn't show signs of wear yet (when casting, the left thumb is on the spool to control the spin speed/cast distance). I included pics to show how they're holding up.

Good quality at a great price

Good quality at a great price. I purchased these individually before, but at this price (< $10 for 5 pairs) you can't go wrong.
Excellent General Purpose Work Gloves
September 13, 2016
When I think of a work glove, this is it. You can get a real grip with these, as they are real cowhide leather. The cuffs make them easy to take on and off, as well as give some protection to your wrists. They are comfortable- not too thick so you can't get a good feel, and not so thin that you're not well-protected. They are a decent value too.Bonus: If you look around, you can find this same style in a toddler's size, so they can help Dad when he is working.
Hardy - chopped six chords of wood with these.
October 11, 2015
In the backwood mountains of northern Vermont, I chopped six chords of wood to prepare for winter with these gloves. Not once when swinging my ax did a finger pop through a hole or a tear ruin my day. These gloves work just as hard as us mountain folk. The padding across the knuckles is perfect for using a sharpie marker to write your name or a catch phrase to motivate you to work harder. My preferred tagline is "bustin' @$$". Very good; will buy again if these gloves ever break down - not any time soon.
great gloves
November 8, 2012
Great gloves and they gave them away to help victims of hurricane sandy can't beat that in a glove. They are the standard thin cowhide / heavy cloth construction work gloves that many of us have used for years. They offer some protection from yucky stuff and plenty of protection against small scratches and bruises that occur during ordinary handyman stuff. They're not specialty chemical suit gloves or gripper gloves or for training dogs or installing barbed wire and they're not claiming to be. They will disintegrate and tear over time, which can be weeks or months. What I do is keep a newer cleaner pair for handling tools, especially when sanding, and then the previous somewhat worn pair gets used for digging, taking out the garbage, or other dirty stuff instead of sharp stuff. They do wear out but that's the point--to be a cheap shield that takes blows your skin could survive a few of but which you'd just as soon avoid. Compared to big box stores around here, these cost less and they're the same thing, and since they aren't perishable and are a consumable item, just order them in advance with SuperSaver and then it's noticeably less than in a hardware store.

Custom Leathercraft 125M Handyman Flex Grip Work Gloves, Medium
June 13, 2016
I ordered these gloves, Custom Leathercraft 125M Handyman Flex Grip Work Gloves, Medium, when I got a bucket pocket pouch, from the same makers. I like them for the fit and feel. I can wear them for quite a while, before having to remove them for a hand breather. They are snug, without being binding and are comfortable from the first time I pulled them on. The wrist closure is tight and is better than Velcro. I like them for four stars and my revisit this review and change it up or down as necessary.
So much potential...
April 13, 2016
Not a bad pair of gloves, I thought I might have finally found a glove that would last more than a couple weeks, and these have potential.I have gone through too many gloves wearing holes in them, trying to find a glove designed to last that would allow slipping for turning metal crank handles and gripping at other times as well as protection from busted knuckles and sharp metal edges and still allow the fine dexterity to use a pen, flip small switches and adjust small dial controls, etc., without having to constantly remove the gloves. I had high hopes for the reinforced fingertips, but the sides of the fingertips are not reinforced, they are part of the lycra panel sections, which ended up being the weak link for me. After about 2.5 months, two fingertips wore through on the side. Lasting 2.5 months is pretty good for me, but far short of where these gloves should have ended up, as it was looking like maybe a 6, maybe 8 month glove. The rest of the glove was holding up well, and was looking like I had finally found a glove that would hold up decently under wet, dry, hot, cold, or muddy/icy conditions. These gloves are also pretty comfortable, even before breaking in, though eventually some of the padding seemed to wear away inside and feel like dirt or sand had gotten into the fingers, but that wasn't a big deal to me, I was more interested in if the durability was going to be worthwhile.*** Note to Manufacturer: Wrap the fingertip reinforcement layer the whole way around the fingertip, covering the sides, and you would have a great glove. ***
There is padding on the palms if it matters to you
March 27, 2015
The rating I gave this product is for poor description. I will revisit this post to comment on the durability of these gloves, but wanted to post here to inform buyers that there is padding sewn into the palms of these gloves. Nowhere I've seen in the product description or video does it indicate there is padding in this area. It only says padding on the knuckles. That is an important bit of information to me, because I did not want padding in the palms, only an extra layer of fabric reinforcement. Also, the gloves I got are black, not grey like the picture. I am going to keep the gloves anyway, since I've recently worn through both a pair of dewalt gloves and a pair of mechanix gloves in the last week and want to see what this brand is all about. For the price of these gloves compared to the apparent quality upon receiving it, I am already impressed. The economy gloves in this price range (like the dewalt) are much more basic than this glove, which has a much better contour to the hand and has elastic in the right places to give it great flexibility. We'll see how it holds up.
Good gloves but Amazon is overcharging for size small
October 16, 2014
Good mild-duty gloves. Good for basic work outdoors in the yard or the garage. Great fit and good grip. Allows good dexterity and control. I wear these on the tractor, but slip into heavy leather gloves when doing something rough. Thee are fine when using tools, and prevent most of the scrapes and bumps that add up to sore hands. I use them a lot when stacking firewood, which eventually tears them up pretty good. They are not even close to weatherproof. Water will soak right through them, which is a feature on a hot day when you sweat. These are not winter gloves, though I wear them as liners in the winter under heavier gloves. On their own they will keep the worst of the cold bite from you for a few minutes, but the wind and cold will get through pretty fast. And if they get wet, you are in frostbite territory in minutes. My advice if you get these wet on a cold day is get them off fast.Overall, good gloves. I have burned through 3-4 pairs in the last 18 months (I do a lot of work). I came back to buy another one and am disappointed to see Amazon is selling the small size for more than the MSRP. The medium, large and extra-large are all below MSRP.What gives, Amazon?
Great gloves, just not for excavators!
September 20, 2014
Good: These gloves fit,.. Well.. Like a glove! The med fits like a dream. Very easy to see how they are the best selling glove on amazon. The padding is very handy. They are somewhat durable. Feel great and break in nice. Before the bad... I'm in excavation and that can be rough on gloves. Chains, shovels, hand tools, etc. Dirt is always a problem for gloves, and seems to find a way right through a couple of spots on these, along with the grease! I've used the basic unlined leather gloves for way to long and need something better. I'm extremely picky and particular when it come to gloves. After spending $80 on a pair of lined Carhart gloves that wore holes in the fingers after ONE Utah winter, I have lowered expectations for Any glove. It's very difficult to find a glove online that works well without getting 4 different ones and trying them on.Bad: the seams at the finger tips eventually get settled right under your fingernails and saw back and forth when you start to break them in. The padding wears down quick. Some of the stitches start ripping sooner than expected. They are a nice pair of gloves, just not up to excavator standards. If you're not in the dirt with heavy equipment all day they may be perfect for you.
As good as/better than Duluth Trading glove
June 19, 2013
I do a lot of outdoor work, including cutting firewood and making lumber with my bandsaw mill. For several years I just bought standard rough leather chore gloves from Lowes or Tractor Supply, usually 3 pair to a package. Went through a lot of gloves. Then I found a glove from Duluth Trading that I fell in love with. Went from using about 10-15 pair/year of the standard leather chore gloves to 2 pair/year of the DT brand. I should have bought more than I did because DT stopped selling them and now the equivalent glove from them doubled in price and they don't last as long either. So, went back to the standard leather chore gloves last year. Finally got around to really looking for a better alternative and ordered one pair of these to see how they'll do. Have had them two days, cut 20 logs into lumber and other than being dirty you'd think I just put them on as new. About this time I would have had seams opened and at least one or two holes in the standard chore glove if I put them on at the same time. I think I'll order a couple more pair just in case now and if they continue to hold up well I'll probably order a dozen more pair just in case Amazon stops selling them or the manufacturer stops making them.

All in all not a big disaster but a little disappointed.
April 18, 2017
Price was ok and multipack was convienent. There was some variability in the fits and some of them were uncomforable. I probably wouldn't buy this produc again on line. I'd prefer to choose specific gloves I wanted. All in all not a big disaster but a little disappointed.
Good

Quite a few pair in order. Fits very large. Not real thick hands are leather and tops are cotton.
Best option for the price
June 5, 2016
I'm removing pavers and a concrete patio from my backyard. I've went through 4 of the 5 pairs of gloves because the job is just so hard on gloves. The leather on the middle and index fingers keep wearing through. But....These hold up just as well as the full leather gloves that are much more expensive. As a result, I keep coming back to these gloves as the most cost effective really heavy duty DIY gloves out there.
Must Have for Truck Driver > not good for mechanical work
September 28, 2014
My husband is a full time local truck driver and a mechanic for 35 years. These gloves are his go to for truck driving, not for working on vehicles. These show brown but we got gray. The wrist has space to allow easy on and off and let's air come through which is great for a type of ventilation for sweaty palms and such. Price per glove is fair, can be purchased individually at Wal-Mart for about the same but delivery is convenient.
Good quality glove
January 14, 2014
These are good. Not great, but good. I wear them with plain brown gardening gloves as liners, and they work very well. I would rate five stars, but for one big reason:You can find the exact same quality glove at Wal-Mart for 33.33% less ($1.00 per glove vs $1.50 per glove on Amazon). The reason I bought these on Amazon is that Wal-Mart is continually out of stock!Guess you can't have it all.
Good for trail work
August 14, 2011
I purchased these for doing trail work on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Our projects would last up to 10 days. These gloves would last for nearly 2 projects if we were primarily doing log out work, but would start to get holes in the fingertips after a week if we were mostly doing rock work. Either way they were comfortable and I never got blisters when using an axe, pulaski, single jack hammers, double jack sledge, crosscut saw, shovel or other trail tools. The only problem I had was that the gloves would stretch out and cause the glove to get so loose that they could easily fall off. I'd give the gloves 5 stars if they remained snug until holes were worn into them. I'm going to stick with these gloves because the great price allows me to replace these frequently.UPDATE: They're still a pretty good deal here, but the price has gone up slightly and have fewer gloves. My first purchase had 6 pairs of gloves, but now it's 5 pairs with a higher price.

Don't expect to much from these gloves the material is cheap. And they run smaller then rated size.
September 2, 2017
First time purchasing this style/pair of gloves, and right off top you can tell these gloves are not designed for any type of strenuous labor. These gloves are what they state they are general purpose, meaning very light duty work.Like mowing the lawn, or if you drive a forklift at work. But if you pull orders, or work with abrasive material like stone, these gloves will not hold up.I'm giving it three stars because I ordered extra large gloves but for some reason these run smaller then stated size. So get the next size up or go with a different brand.
Light gardening or work only!
July 14, 2017
I just received these a few days ago so I haven't used them a lot. However, I can tell already these WILL not hold up to Heavy work or heavy gardening tasks. The finger are too long for my hands so some of the finer motor skills arent able to be accomplised. The palm and finger reinforcement are not that thick and show signs of wear after 3 to four days using them. I have purchased more durable/better fitting gloves at Walmart for alot less money.Four less money I have
Comfortable, but not grippy or strong enough for me
April 27, 2017
I'm a package handler at UPS and I needed something better than the standard $1 gloves to keep my hands from getting sweaty. These are decent gloves, good at keeping my hands from getting sweaty. However, they lack good grip. I had to paint them with liquid plastic so boxes wouldn't slip out of my grip. They also only lasted 5 weeks of heavy use. If you don't need something that can grip cardboard or stand up to the stress of lifting boxes 4-5 hrs a night, then these would probably work for you. They are very comfortable.
Not for me.
February 14, 2017
Meh, these gloves weren't what I expected. I normally use Mechanix gloves for work but figured I'd change it up for once... shouldn't have. The "leather tipped" finger tips that allow you to use a touchscreen are nice and all but they easily rub right off. Also there really is no grip. They kinda do the job of any glove if it's something you can wrap your hands around like pipes or something with a definite edge to it. I do carpentry work and sometimes we have to lift laminated counters and hard walls and they slip right out of my hands. I have to take my gloves off and my sweaty hands work better. Take that with a grain of salt cause what doesn't work for me might work fine for you.
PRODUCT UPDATED as of approx 6/2015. Major decline in quality!
December 15, 2015
ATTENTION:PRODUCT HAS BEEN UPDATED as of approx 6/2015. Major decline in quality.I have purchased these multiple times.Look at the picture and you will see the older version side by side with the new version of this product. My 3 star review can be interpreted like this, The older version gets 5 stars while the newer version 0 stars.I CANNOT stress enough how much superior the older version of the 125 was compared to the newer version. Let me count the ways.1. Fit; the older version used an extra piece of material on the inside that was a gusset cut that went from the wrist to the webbing of the thumb. and stretch fit is no longer a feature and has been removed from the glove. Old- fits. like. a. GLOVE!, New- Uncomfortable, boxy fingers, very boxy finger tips, palm padding is unruly.2. Knuckle Padding; You can clearly see in my photo that the padding for the knuckles is now sparse and completely worthless in regards of knuckle protection.3. Palm Padding; The interior padding is sewn in with lazy stitching. This causes the palm padding to wad up and fold in ways that are not natural to the hand, which makes grasping a tool handle feel very obstructed with gaps and folds of the pad. The stitching of the older glove is much more precise and at the edge of the padding where the newer pad has much overflow (inside) and feels like the glove is falling apart already.4. Durability; All of the finger tips of the old style use leather coverings whereas only a few on newer style glove. The newer version touts "Touch Screen" as the reason for the improvement, meanwhile they have completely eroded the usefulness of these as WORK GLOVES. Also who in their right mind is going to touch a device's screen with dirty gloves on???Both version are made in China so it is hard to understand the product update since the product has not changed price one cent.Beware: This listing is for the newer style and not for those currently displayed.I had 100% converted from Mechanix brand after finding these, however, now with the revision I would go back to Mechanix if I hadn't stocked up on the old style of CLC 125 Handyman Gloves.
Pretty Good
December 7, 2013
I use these work gloves all over the place in my everyday life. I use them for doing home improvement, and for working in the yard, but I specifically bought this pair for rock scrambling in the mountains. In the Sierra Nevada, there's a LOT of granite boulders, and when we are scrambling off-trail up mountains, your hands will be destroyed by the rough granite. These are very nice and pack down nicely into my pack. I really like the reinforced finger tips, and that's where other gloves start to rip. However, these are starting to fray, and I think after another season in the mountains, these will probably develop holes, just like the others. So I'm skeptical how long these will really last. Now I know 99% of people who are looking for these gloves are using them for this purpose, but my point is that the quality of them is decent, but not spectacular, If you are going to use these for general construction purposes, the gloves will be put to the same test.

these gloves serve the purpose
November 22, 2016
bought these in a hurry for a brother in law we employ at our place from time to time. He didnt say one way or the other but didnt complain about them and has used them on a few occasions when heavy utility gloves were needed. they're not the best but adequate and worth the price.
Some pairs were good, some not so much
May 27, 2016
3 of the 5 pairs were cut and seamed well. The other two were knotted and so poorly woven that I could not wear them (much too tight and awkward between thumb and index finger). Given the price, Im not sure I can complain. And the other 3 pairs lasted me a graciously long time, given the type of work that I do. 3 stars because I'd rather pay $25 and know I have 5 solid sets of gloves, than pay $15 and not be sure how many of the pairs are going to be usable.
Decent gloves for the price
May 2, 2014
These gloves seem perfect for what I need them for (doing basic yard work). They do smell very weird as many of the other customers have already pointed out. The smell is the only thing I don't like about these gloves. After I opened them in my room I left and when I came back hours later my room smelled and continued to smell for the rest of the day. But honestly $12 for 6 pairs of gloves is a good deal. I'll just have to wash my hands with soap after using these gloves.
ok for the money
June 3, 2013
I go through gloves like crazy with my job. So I don't like to spend a lot of money on them but I still need something decent to protect my hands. These do the job just fine and last about as well as can be expected for the money. My only problem with the ones I got is they have a VERY strong odor that takes a while to go away. I can see where some might not even want to use them because of the odor! It must be some chemical they use to preserve them or something but it sure is strong! Also what I did appreciate about these gloves was they are soft right out of the box. Some of the leather work gloves like this are very hard and have a break-in period. Not these they are very usable right out of the box. Hope this helps!

First pair - GREAT : Second pair - FAIL
September 13, 2017
This is my second pair of these gloves. The first ones lasted longer than a normal pair, and I really liked them. Very comfortable, padding in all the right places while still being flexible, work well while wet, dry quickly, easy to wash, etc. I would have rated them as FIVE STARS. But...I pulled these on yesterday to clean up after the hurricane and the wrist elastic ripped away from the upper part of the glove. I'm not Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have a desk job, so the ripping was not because I'm pulling on it unnaturally hard. Of course, this happened four days after the return window closed, so these are mine to keep. I guess I will be looking for a different maker the next time I buy work gloves.
Not the quality they used to be!!
June 27, 2017
Not what they used to be!! I've purchased these gloves for the past 5+ years. I just received a new pair and WOW, the company went cheap! The quality is nothing like it was before. Finger tips and thumb used to be quality leather, now it's a thin cheap fake leather. These used to be AWESOME quality gloves, now they're no better then any off the shelf Walmart glove. How disappointing!!
The new pair that was sent seems like a cheap knock-off to the original pair
June 18, 2017
I purchased the same exact gloves (Custom Leathercraft 125M Handyman Flex Grip Work Gloves) one year ago. The were getting a bit worn but that is expected with age and use so I ordered another pair nearly one year to the date of the original order. The new pair that was sent seems like a cheap knock-off to the original pair. The 'new' gloves, in my opinion, seem to have significantly decreased protection then when compared to the 'originals' - at least on the bottom. The breathable fabric on the top and sides seems significantly thinner. Also, the overall quality of the protective fabric (synthetic leather) on the bottom of the hand seems significantly thinner. The fabrics used between my original purchase one year ago and today list that they are composed of the exact same 'ingredients' and while at first glance they look the same, they do not feel the same. The main rub for me is the 'synthetic leather' quality between the two gloves. The first pair just feels a lot more durable and stronger and definitely something I would put more faith in to protect my hands then the new pair.Disclaimer - Everything noted above is purely my opinion between the same glove but purchased one year a part. I'll still use the new pair I bought but with a bit of reluctance.
Velcro strip detaching from glove
July 14, 2016
This is my first time reviewing an item but after only using these during 2 work shifts (working in an event setup/logistical field) and having the velcro separate from the glove, I was left pretty disappointed. I have to be able to velcro and un-velcro the gloves quickly while working and am unable to do so because I am afraid the velcro strip will now rip off entirely. The stitching that holds the velcro strip to the glove continues to loosen.
Good gloves, however touchscreen fingertips are a gimmick
March 23, 2016
I've ordered several of these in past, they are some long lasting gloves. Dexterity is good, fit is good, finish is good. Wearing them for 10 hours a day I can get around 7-8 months out of them. I manage 3 warehouses so I need some good gloves when I need to step in and help out my workers. I received my latest pair with the touchscreen fingertips, which at first I thought was a plus. However, this new style lacks the stretch fit elastic on the thumb, and the Terry cloth wipe. After a week of light use, the finger tips were all but gone. It was simply a thin layer of synthetic leather on top. The gloves are still good, but touch screen capacity is gone.
Very small
January 17, 2016
I was very excited when I saw that these came in size 2XL. My Dad is 6'7" and has truly huge hands, so I ordered him a pair thinking finally we may have found something in his size. They were not even close to my idea of 2XL. I had also ordered a size L for my husband, and I ended up giving him the 2XL. He is about 6 foot and has a strong build to his hands, but I never in a million years would have thought to order him a 2XL. The L would have worked perfectly for me (if I stretch my hand wide, my thumb to pinky wingspan is 8.5", and my fingers are skinny.)The quality seems fine, but if you are on the tall end of the spectrum, I doubt these are for you.

Might as well be disposable
June 15, 2017
Really inferior quality gloves, but for the money, maybe they're OK. Treat them almost like they're disposable, or just use them for very light duty work.
Large is not "Large"
December 13, 2016
Warning. I always buy "Large" size gloves with no problem. These run small; I had to give them away to some employees as they would not fit.
Quality of the product not so good. They smell bad

Worh the money. Just cheap gloves. Quality of the product not so good. They smell bad.
BEWARE!
December 19, 2015
BEWARE-- I'm not sure where these gloves were stored, but when the packaging was removed, they reeked of insecticide and or some chemical. I opened them inside the house where my husband was feeding and playing with our 4 month old. There is something dangerous on those gloves and it filled the downstairs with this strong chemical. I immediately put them out in the garage. It stunk up the garage, too. It wasn't until a few hours later that the smell wasn't noticeable anymore. I don't know what is on those gloves, but I'm worried about what chemicals I exposed my family to. I'm grateful I didn't go out to get the package while holding my child. There should be chemical warning on this box- or no chemical used on the product at all.Gloves seem to be what I purchased and will work fine. I'm just not sure if I want to use them became they are coated in some dangerous chemical. BEWARE.
Very overpowering smell
June 24, 2015
The gloves are strong but they stink to high hell when you open the package. They smell like really strong burnt rubber, or off-gassing chemicals. I ended up throwing them in the dumpster bcs I live in an apartment and had no where to put them. The burnt rubber chemical smell totally overwhelmed my entire 2 bedroom apartment. The gloves might've been alright if I had a shed or garage to let them them air out for a week first.
Poor Quality and defective pair with hole in palm
September 27, 2014
I've ordered these gloves before because they were heavier duty than what was available in the box stores. The leather on the gloves I just received is much thinner. Also one of the brand new gloves has a hole in the palm making it unusable. Return policy says I have to return defective pair within 30 days or be responsible for both charges. The postage to send it back probably would be more than the value of the glove.

Good quality but,
September 12, 2017
These lasted about a month and a half. Worn daily for various tasks from rolling hose ( I'm a firefighter) to pulling and replacing snow stakes, light construction, tool maintenance mainly, the seams on the fingers started to go after the first 2 weeks. All the reinforcement and padding remains intact however 6 out of 10 of the fingers are now wrapped with tape. Pretty ridiculous for what they cost.If anyone knows a better glove PLEASE refer me , unless you are pulling weeds or petting the dog is pass these by
poor quality

Poor quality gloves, 2 days of use and read disappeared reinforced finger tip, with 3 touch screen finger tips, making use of the mobile device easy. I want the return of my money

As everyone has said, previous model was much better. These ones are uncomfortable to wear on the long run, and aren't form fitting as the last model. Mine lasted me 3 years for the two pairs of last model. The new ones are already tearing and I've had them for TWO MONTHS. Lame.
My 2$ latex gloves hold up longer!
July 1, 2016
Gloves ripped on second use. I unload trucks for a living and have yet to find a glove that holds up to unloading 1000+ boxes per truck. These gloves ripped just like another brand I bought in the same place near the finger. Guess I'll try resewing them if I can find a needle and thread. They do fit really well but if they're not durable what's the point? Also all of the grip on the fingertips is pretty much gone after second use they are now very slippery when trying to pick up boxes by the sides. If someone can recommend some lasting gloves for handing 1000+ box's a week please comment and let me know.
Huge fail
May 22, 2016
I was very excited when these gloves arrived. They fit my medium size hands perfectly. And they were comfortable. I purchased them specifically for a trip to Arkansas to mine for Quartz. The first area we located had a two hour maximum for collecting. This was the very first time ever I would be using my new gloves. Very disappointingly and in less than two hours the tip of the glove for my middle finger had a large hole. I am posting a picture of this also. Since these were the only gloves I brought with me on the trip I had to deal with the discomfort of dirt working its way in at two more collecting sites. I can't return the gloves to Amazon. But I would encourage everyone to look at what other gloves are on Amazon before considering these.
Not as pictured
December 18, 2015
Beware these gloves do not come as pictured. I bought a pair before and they lasted a long time. After much use some holes appeared. I was over all happy with the longevity so I decided to buy then again. The pair that I received has what feels like fake leather on the tip in the pointer and middle fingers and the thumb. The padding on the palm feels stiffer. Overall the quality is not what it used to be.

G & F 5015A-5 Premium A+ Grade Cowhide... G & F Gloves
April 6, 2017
These gloves were of terrible cheap quality. We returned them successfully.
Very low quality
October 3, 2016
I just received a five-pack of these and they are very low quality: thin cowhide that appears to have gotten wet at some point, lousy stitching, and actual holes in the leather of one or two. Compared to the ULINE cowhide gloves I have purchased in the past, these are complete junk. I purchased these to place into earthquake preparedness kits for clients, and I cannot in good consciousness include these lousy gloves in my kits.
Buyer Beware - Unbearable Odor
February 8, 2016
I am not sure how the heck these gloves were manufactured, but once the packaging is removed, they have a just awful odor. It smells something like naphthalene mixed with insecticides and embalming fluid. After wearing a pair for two minutes, the stink permeated my hands and wouldn’t even wash off. My wife made me put them outside as even when contained in a Ziploc bag they still made the kitchen reek.Utterly disgusting. Amazon should investigate and eliminate this product.
Bad smell. Poor quality.
November 30, 2015
In a 5-pack these were $2.73 a pair, so I know I'm buying cheap gloves. Still, the smell was so bad I had to put them outside for about 3 weeks to air out. They still smell a little but at least they don't stink up the whole room. Also, these are extremely poor quality gloves. Again, I know they are cheap, but I've used 3 pairs so far and all 3 have had a hole in at least one of the gloves. The stitching is very poor.Even if you think of these as single-use/disposable, these aren't great gloves. I'd have been much happier buying a single pair of $15 gloves that will last much longer than all 5 pair of these. Lesson learned.
Horrible smell probably unsafe
November 1, 2015
I aired them out for two days and they still smelled horid. No one in their right mind would wear them with this overpowering and noxious smell. I tried to return them but could not stand the smell long enough to box them up so I ended up just throwing them away. I'm not exaggerating. These gloves have a really bad toxic smell!
So stiff they rubbed blisters INSIDE the gloves.
May 5, 2013
I thought these were the same gloves you can find virtually any store: kinda cheap, but adequate and usually coming in a 3-4 pack or something so you can buy a pack for a job and not get bent if they are destroyed and lost. What we got was a torture device. The middle two fingers are hard and stiff as if they'd been dipped in glue and it was allowed to harden. The seams inside the thumb and the pinky rubbed two blisters on my husband's hand and the stiffness of th emiddle fingers caused him to drop things and be unable to grasp others. If it weren't just twelve bucks and not worth the effort, I'd definitely return them. Do NOT recommend.
