Great gloves for work with sharp objects
June 10, 2017
I work with trusses everyday and the metal plates that hold them together are very sharp they will rip apart your hands. These gloves are GREAT tried quite a few and these are hands down the best. They still get torn up but they last week's longer then others I have used.•They don't keep your hands to hot.•They fasten great and stay put•Wash easily.Highly recommend them to people who need some durability and comfort.
These are great work gloves
January 9, 2017
These are great work gloves, but I dont believe they are "Heavy Duty." One pair makes it through a month or so of moderate wear...however, they are comfortable, relatively warm, have good grip while the palm and finger material lasts, and i like the velcro closure on the wrists. I also like the rubber "iron clad" writing on the back, as it has saved my knuckles from getting banged up many times. I have multiple pairs on the shelf for when my current pair and the next wear out, so thats about as good an endorsement as i can give.
Very Useful
December 26, 2016
I bought these for my husband, who works as a professional gardener. He kept getting cuts and having dry, cracked hands from his various work assignments. He really likes these gloves. They were really designed with function in mind. They fit his hands really well and allow him to grip things better without cutting or scratching himself. They wash well, too (cold, regular cycle; air dry), though they did have a bit of a sweat odor lingering in them after I washed them the last time, but I think soaking them overnight in oxygen bleach would probably solve that.
So far so good...
December 10, 2016
I've been using it for yard work for about a month now. Seems to be good so far.My last pair of Ironclad's were the Ranch version. It developed a hole after less than year. The prior pair of Ironclads were the landscape version and it lasted for several years.
Excellent Gloves
February 23, 2016
Excellent gloves! I used these to pull some briars and the thorns didn't pierce the material. The gloves are not too bulky and I can pick up small items fairly well with them. This is a quality glove and reasonably priced! Would certainly recommend!
The only glove I will buy, I'm a stagehand.
February 19, 2013
After wearing cloth jersey gloves, thick leather, Mechanix, FirmGrip jokes, and Setwear, I was finally turned on to this brand by a fellow lighting guy. Bought a pair and never looked back. You get what you pay for and you are paying for quality. After 3-7 days a week of nonstop hardcore handling road cases, lights, backline, soco, feeder, wood, and little giant ladders, it takes over a year for these to wear out. These are not rated for heat protection, but I have focused/handled hot lekos and changed standard light bulbs while hot and it sometimes it did slightly melt the grip, but it did not burn or burn my hand. The one thing wrong with these is that the fingertips blow out after long term use - the seams just split. This happens after over a year though and I usually lose the gloves or someone steals them before they wear out.

Good quality work gloves

The gloves shipped out and arrived on time. They have a good grip texture on the palm.Seem to be fairly breathable. The fit is okay, maybe a bit large.Good quality work gloves
1 PR. lasted me under 2 months
July 21, 2017
I bought the small size - I have sz. 7 glove hands. 1 PR. lasted for under 2 months. I use this for work, sorting medium to small sized cardboard boxes and all sized envelopes. It makes me more efficient. I do have to use a glove liner with this because I got heat rashes and an allergic reaction to the rubber. This combo leaves my hands smell and itch free!! 😀
Great gloves for warehouse workers
February 26, 2017
Great gloves for warehouse workers. I move plastic-wrapped mattresses and couches and require a strong grip, after a 10 hour day my finger nails literally start to separate from my fingers, my knuckles are worn from gripping dirty plastic, . Wearing these babies has definitely helped my hands stay healthy and increased my efficiency as the extra grip allows me to grasp and move things I normally can't.
Excellent gloves for a great price!
February 4, 2017
I'm a guy with small hands who loves to work in the garden. For the low price of these gloves, the rubber is almost twice as thick as the ones I get at the hardware store. These grip better and fit my hands perfectly! I expect these to last me a while. I bought two pairs! Shipping arrived on time.
A Great Buy for just $1.94 a pair!!!
April 8, 2016
THESE ARE GREAT! I ordered several other gloves, more expensive but similar, but these are every bit as good as the others! I'm glad I bought 2 pair. I'll buy these gloves from now on. For only $1.94 a pair, you can't go wrong! What a great value!
Perfect Grip
November 14, 2015
I started putting the orders away at my store recentlya, Starbucks. After doing that for a couple of days, my finger tips were crying for help after opening box after box and putting away every tedious piece of material. My hands are about 7" x 4" yet pretty thin, I purchased a small pair and they fit great. The grip on the glove seems pretty durable. I know my dad uses the grey and blue grip gloves for delivering furniture from Ashley warehouse to stores and he handles big product daily. These really help with handling the boxes, especially when grabbing them from high places. I get a greater handle on everything with these gloves, they flex well with your finger, not stiff.

Runs a bit small but well made glove
Not perfect but best I've found so far
March 25, 2017
These are durable enough, haven't found the perfect glove yet, but these are close.I haul cars for a living. All seasons, all weather. I usually do 2 or 3 loads a day. That is positioning and securing up to 27 cars a day.The finger tips do split out as stated in other reviews. This happens quicker in wet conditions. I started buying xxl (which help too for removal and putting them on since I take them off to drive the cars) and they seem to last a little longer about 5 weeks. That is about the longest of gloves I have tried. I would recommend getting a few different sizes and go with the largest that is not too bulky. Once they start to split I'll wrap the tip with duct tape and thoes become wet weather gloves.

I have a very large yard with a ton of trees, so I will spend long weekends working outside. I have gloves on most of the day while I work. These fit excellently and are very comfortable. Buy leather gloves if you are going to be around fire as these will melt from sparks.
Good Glove.

Fits as expected. Good grip. I use for chainsaw tree cutting work. I can still "feel" the chainsaw but also have some protection going through brush.

GREAT for gardening!!!!!!

I really like these but, I wish you had an extra small. I use them for gardening because nothing pokes through them. I am glad I got them.
Money can buy happiness.

Well, at least for 3 pairs of cheep gloves. If you go through several pairs gardening for the price, it really exceeded my expectations.

March 30, 2017
The glove is ok. seems well made. The down side is the "extra large" is NOT that large at all. My hands are normal I thought getting extra large would be fine. Apparently I'm an Extra Extra Large for the first time in my life. They are a struggle to get on and are very tight. I won't go through the hassle of returning but I would recommend buying the LARGEST size they offer unless you have very small hands.
good for basic weekend yard work, not heavier duty stuff
March 3, 2017
The gloves are super comfortable, but after about 6 months (averaging ~15-20 hours a week) of basic landscaping, moving rock, shoveling, handling lumber, etc., the seams split, they're showing major wear & they're not repairable. I never machine-washed them, but they did get wet--regardless, I was hoping they'd last longer. I'd say they'd be more suitable for less frequent, regular yard work.
Thought they would be thicker!
November 2, 2016
I bought these for my son to use on a Cub Scout service project. They're decent gloves, but not near heavy enough for dealing with shrubs with thorns. He got numerous pricks from thorns on an invasive species they were ripping out.
NOT GOOD FOR CONCRETE/CEMENT HANDLING
June 22, 2016
I got a total of about 60 hours out of these gloves using them in full time work. Held up well with wood handling, hammering, prying, and a lot of moving heavy bags of materials. They are impressively engineered fit-wise and grip quite well. Doing demolition on a kitchen in a old plaster lap wall house I handled a substantial amount of cement debris and both tips of the middle fingers split. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING this is is always how my gloves where out so they did not excel by any means in that test. I MAYBE WOULD BUY AGAIN BUT NOT HANDLE CONCRETE. comfortable and probably would have lasted longer than other gloves if I had not handled cement debris with them.
Solid gloves with nice padding - Velcro closure wore out quickly, not great for fine motor activities
July 15, 2015
Pros: Very solidly constructed work gloves. Thick finger and palm padding with good grip and good flexibility. They are warm, but not too hot to use during the summer months. I have used these while shoveling snow, splitting wood, moving boxes, and any number of other tasks. They are very versatile and I am pleased with the overall performance.Cons: The Velcro closure on one of the gloves wore out very quickly (3 months or less with non-daily use). The gloves still work, but it's annoying to constantly have to re-Velcro the glove closed. They are a little too thick to use while doing fine motor tasks (like holding nails or screws) - if you are looking for a glove to use for that, look elsewhere. These are better suited for gross motor tasks.
Could be better !
April 21, 2014
Don't get the wrong idea. I purchased them in January 2014. I think this glove is very good, It has held up to towing industry work i.e. chains, ratchet straps, jacking , setting up cribbing, sharp metal car body parts, petrochemicals very well. But I have the same problem with this glove as I have had with $70.00 gloves. The fingers. The tips.... to be clear The longest digit on the hand.( you know the birdie finger.) That is the finger I use to search the under side of any auto for the tie down ports. we towing guy have specific chain hooks for these ports. hold the chain in the hand then use the long finger to search for port. any way the stitching on that finger tip he's gone missing now I have a hole that has resulted in a dirty finger tip. it is a common problem that I have been trying to solve for years. I am going to order a second pair.

First, the gloves have a nice look to them. They do grip well. The reason why I only give them three stars is because each glove only lasted one week before I had to toss them out. I would only recommend them for really light warehouse work. I wouldn't buy them again. Only because I need at least 2 to 3 weeks out of my gloves for that price.
Good, but with limited abilities. Watch out for the sharp stuff.
June 25, 2016
I have always used the traditional leather type of gloves for landscaping and overall construction work outside and decided to give these a try. I got the large and they fit pretty well, although the snugness is sort of different. I discovered to my immediate discomfort that these don't prevent rose thorns or sharp wood splinters from penetrating. They do. However, these are still very good quality gloves and DO perform as protection for your hands when doing almost anything else. My problem with the leather ones were that when they get muddy and wet, and then dry out, they tear and become useless very quickly. So, my new strategy is to use THESE for overall work, especially when wet or muddy conditions confront you, as they are good quality -- but for being shielded from thorns and wood splinters? Caution. I still like these and am glad I got them, though .They're sort of like scuba diving gloves (snug form fit), but you get used to it. And the fluorescent green makes certain that you won't leave them at the job site. I hate doing that.
Work & Garden Gloves for Men and Women
October 11, 2015
Gloves were received free for an honest review....Gloves fit, but slightly snug. The color is bright so easy to find if you end up tossing them in a work bucket/tote.Did not have problems pulling weeds or moving stuff around in the garden. One of the things I really did not like was the chemical smell when they were removed from the package. That in general would be a reason I would not buy them. I've purchased rubbery type gardening gloves from the store and have been fine with them, no smell... but this pair was awful even my husband didn't want them near him.

I was disappointed with the gloves' durability
July 10, 2017
I bought these gloves thinking that they would hold up to the work I put them through, but sadly, I was disappointed with the gloves' durability. After 2-3 days, the stitching came undone around 2 of the fingers on the same glove. I wrapped the fingers in some packing tape to get through the day, but that proved to be annoying, so I ended up throwing the gloves away. They were a waste of money. So far, the ironclad box handlers gloves have been my favorites, but they wear out within a month. By the second week, most of the rubber grip pads are already gone.
Good for about a week.
June 15, 2017
Like all the others, lasted about a week and a half before the fingers started wearing thru.

These gloves didn't last me very long. Finger tips came apart really fast. The ranch hands are far better if durability is what you are looking for in my opinion.
seams split on fingers, but for gentle work, they're comfortable
November 4, 2016
just don't hold up well, and if you don't wash them, they get funky pretty fast. The middle finger seams in both left and right split at the seams. Slowly my middle finger emerged over a period of 2-3 days of wearing them. If you're just wearing them to rake leaves or something gentle, they'd probably hold up okay, and they are more comfortable over time, unlike the leathers which get stiff. For me, back to the ole leather gloves;(
Weak
July 13, 2015
Not bad at first. But these are falling apart after 2 1/2 months. Pretty lame as far as I'm concerned. (poor stitching in the fingers) and the rubber hand protection just suffocated your skin and you sweat. And it smells bad after a while. Mechanic is still the champ.
Good glove with a terrible quality closure
April 24, 2015
So, the main part of the gloves is the same high quality ironclad construction that I've always loved, with perhaps a few upgrades over previous models in fit and dexterity. Unfortunately, it seems like they've changed the hook and loop closure that the're using and it doesn't work at all. I can strap these closed and just barely move my hand and it comes open. Very annoying, especially considering that the gloves are otherwise great. Maybe I just got a bad pair, but I'm going to have to now think twice before going with Ironclad for my next pair.

Quality has gone down big time !!! I drive a semi 12 hours a day . I only use these to keep grease off my hands when in coupling to a trailer.. they would last 6 months or more .. now the last 3 pair have lasted about 3 weeks .. horrible product and over priced
Much better cheaper options. This product is a waste of money
July 15, 2017
Bought for work on a construction project as a laborer. After one day all the seams around the fingertips came apart and they were riddled with holes. The stitching is very cheap and obviously not designed to last at all. There are much better cheaper gloves that last a lot longer, these ended up just being a waste of money that I couldn't return. Another bad note, they make your hands smell terrible, like an old cast.. terrible when you're wearing them all day out in the desert heat for work.
Junk! Do not buy any style of gloves from Ironclad.
April 27, 2017
Do not buy any type or style of gloves from Ironclad. I've gone through three pairs in three months, and three different levels of quality/cost. The stitching is poorly done, especially around the fingers, and came apart on every pair, with average use. I will try my chances with another brand.
No value here.

Perfect...for a week or two
February 14, 2014
I work for in a warehouse for Publishers Clearing House where, for a 5 hour shift, I take packages and load them into semi trailers. Basically just stacking boxes into the trucks. Though these gloves claim to be heavy duty, they lasted a week and a half before the linings of the fingers started to come loose. A few days later, several of the fingers developed holes, rendering the gloves useless. Not a very impressed buyer.
