GREAT!!!
May 6, 2017
Purchased one for myself after trying a few other brands.that ranged from okay to worthless. This one is very sturdy and very stable. Loved it so much, I purchased one for my wife who loves hers as well--then purchased another for her office. If you're looking for a laptop stand so you can stand while working, this is a really excellent option. Don't bother trying to save a few bucks by buying a cheaper one that wobbles and even collapses while using it.
Great purchase! It has helped my back tremendously
October 31, 2016
Great purchase! It has helped my back tremendously. I also read Harvard's study that research shows a clear link between sitting for long periods of time with a number of health concerns, including obesity and metabolic syndrome. Too much sitting also seems to increase the risk of death from cardiovascular disease and cancer. A nearly 50 percent increased risk of death from any cause and about a 125 percent increased risk of events associated with cardiovascular disease, such as chest pain (angina) or heart attack. So I'm glad I finally bit the bullet and just tried it out.

So that I'm not always standing either, for 10 minutes out of every hour, I tilt my monitor screen down, put my wireless keyboard on my lap and sit down. I think my head, neck, shoulders and arms are so used to facing down, that this counter motion helps me too.

The only feedback I can give the company is to shorten their support leg. It's expandable, but its starting length is too long for someone that's 5'2". It won't fit between the top level and low level of my stand. With time, this will take a toll on the upper level as it will start to sag downwards.
I really like my new Stand Steady
July 31, 2016
I really like my new Stand Steady. The product was easily assembled in about 15 minutes and is made with quality materials. I am getting used to standing at the desk and feel better about doing less sitting.

If there is one thing I would change, it would be to add top and bottom rubber cups for the stick support. Although the stick has never collapsed nor fallen out of place (I make sure it is perpendicular to the two boards and tightened - two rubber cups similar to the one I posted below, centered and aligned (bottom of top shelf and top of bottom shelf) would, in my opinion guarantee proper alignment of the plastic tipped stick.
Thanks for making the Stand Steady desk.
Sturdy Standing Desk
July 8, 2016
This is exactly what i have been looking for! I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review, but I'd buy it again at full price. It is easy to assemble and incredibly sturdy. Some previous reviewers complained that if you release the desk when it is in the standing position, the top will fall. I haven't seen a lot of standing desks, but I would assume that would be the case unless it had hydraulics. This desk allows you to raise or lower and then tighten a knob. It also has the additional fifth leg that you can expand or contract which you can place under the front. It holds my laptop beautifully. I think it's a great product.
I am delighted so far with this product
February 28, 2016
I am delighted so far with this product, which I have used to date only in the standing position. It was delivered promptly and in good condition, and easy to assemble with the included Allen wrench. I was spending many hours a day sitting at my desktop home computer -- since I began standing rather than sitting, I have experienced a significant lessening of hip and knee pain, as well as a greater overall feeling of fitness. I have a desktop PC rather than a laptop, and the desk surface is a bit of a squeeze for my big flat screen monitor base and wireless keyboard, but it works. My workstation has a half-width shelf at the top of it -- purchasers who currently use a flat desktop with no over-desk structures will find they have more usable area than I do. I stand on a shock-absorbing gel mat..

foot operated kitchen waste can liked to walk

I've used these for years to cut down on fatigue while working standing up, but I bought this one for another reason. Our tall, foot operated kitchen waste can liked to walk. By putting one of these under it, it stays put.
It gave my knees and feet relief from the hard floor at work
June 22, 2017
If you stand on your feet all day at work, on a hard surface and go home with sore feet, back, knees or just beat. This mat will make it easier on your body. I work in the deli dept for a big chain food store, they threw out the old fatigue mats 4 months ago and we are still waiting for new ones. So i bought my own. it gave my knees and feet relief from the hard floor at work, everybody loves it! My co-workers may soon be buying their own until our cheap corp bosses get around to buy new ones.I reccomend this mat to anyone on their feet a long time at work! They ship fast too!

ESSENTIAL for use with any Sit-to-Stand Desk

Works fantastic with any Sit-to-Stand desk. I use it at the office everyday and it saves my legs everyday. 100% recommend.
Very Good.

August 20, 2017
After reading many comparative reviews, I chose this one based on price + function. It's a fairly thick mat - I am using it for my home office where I have a standing desk. We have a plastic mat under it to protect my hardwood floor, with a rolling desk chair when I use that. When I am using my chair, it is easy to lift off and put away (it does not stick to our plastic mat underneath). I can stand on it comfortably for hours and not feel like I am sinking down to touch the floor. The black coloring also does not impart any stains on the bottom of my feet. The width and length is perfectly fine for me (but I am fairly petite).I arrived flat in a large box and did not have any funny smells. I would buy again and recommend to others.
Easy to clean and heaven on your feet, legs, and back!
June 27, 2017
We are using several of these mats in a mobile kitchen trailer that is used to serve 4 meals a day for around 180 people while traveling across the country during the summer. We got rid of the traditional black drainage mats. A greasy floor isn't a concern in the mobile kitchen and trying to clean the drainage mats and the floors, given the holes in the mats while on the road was problematic. The Royal Anti-Fatigue comforts mats are exactly that, very comfortable! After replacing the mats, there was a noticeable difference in the cushioning that the mats provide--necessary when you spend all day on your feet cooking!
Just what this cook and dish washer needed

So far, after only a week of use, this mat is wonderful! Easy on the feet, easy to clean and easy on the eyes... my only complaint is that i didnt order this sooner! Now i need another one for under the sink.
Great for using with a standing desk!
May 11, 2017
I bought this mat to use in front of my standing desk. I like standing while working, but my knee and hips don't really care for it. I was surprised at what a difference it makes to stand on this mat instead of the carpeted floor. It feels good on the feet, and my knee and hips are happy too. The beveled edge is nice - you don't catch it with your foot and trip. It generally stays put, but sometimes I have to move it back in place if the chair bumps it. It's definitely been a good purchase for me and I would recommend this mat.

I use this for my at home standing desk, even on carpet it works really well.I have tried multiple anti fatigue mats, twice the cost of this product and they have not performed as well for both intermittent use and long term use.Excellent product, purchased a second one for work and recommended it to my coworkers who have to stand on their feet all day.
Great cushioning and feel
August 6, 2016
Everyone comments that when standing on this it's like standing on a cushion of air or cotton. We loved this mat and have been using it nearly a year now. The only down side is when it first arrives it has a terrible and heavy "rubber" odor to it so we left it outside to air for about a week. After that everything's been fine. Would purchase again because the the great cushion power it has.

The StandSteady UpTrak is a great solution for what it is :)
June 19, 2017
For what it is and what it costs, the Stand Steady UpTrak works great. Just pay attention to the "what it is" part. The UpTrak is a slider-type sit/stand desk solution, so it rests on the desktop itself and you side the platform up the metal rails if you want to stand, and slide it down it you want to sit. It's not spring-supported so you have to be sure and hold on to the platform, however heavy it is, when you slide it. You don't get an actual mounting bracket for your computer monitor, so the monitor has to sit on the platform along with the keyboard, mouse and anything else you want on it. In the stand position, the platform is held in place by a couple of plastic pinch-brackets in the back, and a separate support column in the front. To change from sit to stand position or vice versa, you have to hold onto the platform, release the pinch-brackets, and remove the support column, then slide the platform to the desired position.

Some people will find that process to be a pain in the butt, others won't. The pinch-bracket handles seem flimsy to me, like they might break at some point, but who knows maybe they will last forever. The point is that if you opt for a slider-type solution, you're going to have to deal with these things no matter which brand you choose. The slider type ones are generally cheaper, which is why I only paid $140 and why I chose this type. In my experience, these slider type solutions are best for those who a) don't want to pay a lot, or b) who will be spending most of their time in one position or the other and won't need to change between the sit and stand positions too often, if at all. Both of these conditions apply to me. If they apply to you as well, then The UpTrak is as good as any slider-type solution and better than many. For the price it's hard to beat.

But you need to be aware that if you are someone who needs to switch between sit and stand on a regular basis, then you may want (or need) to consider paying more and buying better. That's not a reflection on the UpTrak, that's just the way it is IMHO. Say that you have a back injury and you can't lift anything; how are you going to lift the platform on the UpTrak to the stand position or hold the platform while lowering it to the sit position? Answer: you probably can't, and you will have to go with a scissor-type or heavy-duty spring-loaded type that actually mounts to your desktop. That's because these two types of sit-stand generally seem to require less effort and rigmarole to go between stand and sit, particularly the spring-loaded ones. They will almost surely cost more too, so be ready.

Point is, don't buy the UpTrak thinking that it's going to be the end-all be-all sit/stand desk solution regardless of your needs, and then get mad when you put it together and discover that it carries with it all the disadvantages of the slider-type solution and none of the advantages of a more expensive solution. Again you don't even get a monitor support for this model, so if you use more than one monitor then that rules out the UpTrak right there IMHO. There's a reason it's only $140. I like it because the rigmarole that I would have to go through to change positions from stand to sit encourages me to keep It in the stand position all the time, which is what I should be doing anyway. And again, you might not care about having to loosen the pinch brackets, remove the support column, and slide the platform to stand or sit, maybe it's not that big a deal for you to have to do that each time. But for the solution that it is, the UpTrak will not disappoint!
Really nice stand up desk.
December 12, 2016
I really like this stand up desk. I love being able to stand and the design of this allows me to set it back far enough on my desk that when I sit, I can still use plenty of desk space for writing. The only thing I would have liked to see differently is the ability to lower and raise it. I have to lean forward to do this and it's about a 15 lb monitor that I lift. Because it requires my own natural strength, It's to heavy to raise and lower, so I just leave it raised. Perhaps some kind of hydraulic to assist would be a nice added feature.
nice product
September 18, 2016
it's a nice unit. holds everything well. little awkward trying to get it to the stand position and then put the support bar under the side of the keyboard. only think that i don't like is that the monitor is closer than i normally have it, but that is my problem, not a design flaw. all i do when in the sitting position, i just take my keyboard off the product and push my monitor back to where i normally have it. otherwise, i am very happy with the product. a lot better than the more expensive units. i hope it lasts as long.
Does the job - basically.
April 20, 2016
The stand works fine. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the front edge of the desk has sharp square edge so that when you are using the mouse, your wrist often rubs against this edge and causes discomfort. I taped a thin piece of foam over the edge to protect my wrist from scraping. Could easily be solved it they rounded over the top edge of the desk. Otherwise, it solves the reason that I purchased it for: Getting my rear end out of the chair while working.
Standing is great - right size and price for home office.
April 17, 2016
I have a convertible sit/stand desk at work, and I missed it when I worked from my home office. I didn't want to spend as much as my work version cost and it is also much too big and bulky for my home office, so I was pleased to find the UpTrak Sit/Stand desk at a reasonable price, and what looked like the right size.
When the desk arrived, it was really easy to put together - I think I was using it within 10 minutes of opening the box. It's easy to move from sitting to standing and back. It fits easily on my desk at home and it is light enough to move out of the way if I need to.
I have one small problem, which I have worked around: I am 5'3", short but not outside the norm. The small tension rod that provides extra support when the desk is in the standing position, is too tall - I am using a custom cut wood block.
Overall, I am really happy with the desk, and my back is happy, too!

Good mat for the price
August 14, 2017
Good simple mat for the money. Quality is very high, no problems. It's a lightweight mat, much simpler item than some of the others I've looked at, and of course also much less expensive.
Not overly thick, but decent.
August 28, 2016
I use this mat when I'm standing at my stand/sit desk. My office is carpeted, so I took a chance that this inexpensive mat would provide enough cushion. My feet definitely feel better when I use the mat.It does a fairly decent job of cushioning my feet. I'm not sure if it would provide enough cushion if I were using it on concrete. It's plenty large so sometimes I fold it to double the thickness. It's not so thick that I sink into it, and for me that's a good thing. When I'm not standing at my desk, I roll up the mat and set it aside. When I stand in it, depressions from my shoes appear fairly quickly. However, they disappear when I take a break from standing on it. Overall, the mat seems to be good quality and durable. For the price point, I think it is a decent mat. If you want maximum cushion, this probably is not the mat for you. For me, it works as needed.

The mat was shipped quickly.I recently started working at a sit/stand desk. I had high hopes that the mat would make a significant difference when I stand at my desk. I've found that the mat is a little more effective when I take my shoes off than when I stand on it in my shoes. I debated between a 3 and a 4 for my rating and chose 4 based on the speed of delivery and it does make a difference. I wish the difference was more evident.

I was very disappointed by the support column
March 22, 2017
I was very disappointed by the support column. There should have been a fixed position built into the unit. The unit I got requires me to constantly put the column in place as I'm using it. It tends to fall out of position. This is why I rate it okay, instead of great. In addition, the unit is way overpriced. It should not cost more than $%0.00. I paid $150.
OK but overpriced
January 7, 2017
The Stand Steady does what it says but at $149.00 I feel the product is overpriced. The support stick at its lowest point was too tall for my height (5' 2"). I spoke with customer service who gave me the option of using it without the support stick or sending it back. Although the representative told me that the support stick wasn't "really needed" although its inclusion is NOT listed as optional. The Stand Steady did not feel at all steady without the stick to support my 21" monitor. As it turned out I asked our maintenance person, who cut the stick down to match my height.
overall good, expansion rod a joke
September 25, 2016
overall good, a reasonable price. However, the frontspiece expansion rod is flimsy, and will alnost certainly break within a week, forcing me to use various length pieces of lumber to keep the unsupported lip of the desk front from crashing down. Too bad, too, because it overall is exactly the size I need and otherwise seems to be made of average to slightly better than average quality. Even with the necessary addition of lumber, an overall good deal.

August 26, 2016
The sliding support post that makes the key board more stable needs to be redesigned. Does not work properly. Fortunately the lowest setting works for me and does the job. However I am extremely disappointed to find that it is very awkward to raise and lower the platform with my 22 inch monitor and key board on it. If you plan to keep this in the standing position only, I would give it a 4. But I am looking for a Stand -Sit desk. Looks like I'll need to shell out more money for another model.
Be careful when raising or lowering with Desktop on the table
September 30, 2015
I give this a 4 only because it does work more for a light laptop, if you have a desktop on it that is right under that 25 lbs and you try to go from standing to sitting, stand does slam down from the weight. For the price this does the job but for desktops, you definitely need to clear the desk off before lowering it or raising it, which can get quite annoying, especially having to do that during work. I've had to adjust it twice in the last two days and I'm already seeing how maybe paying for a spring loaded or electric desk could prove to be more useful and safe. I tried to lower the desk with my iMac on it and damn near had it come crashing down on me, luckily I placed my arms to prevent that, still debating on returning it and just paying more money, but we will see!

Breaks down with heavy use
October 27, 2016
I have three of these. 2 in the kitchen with decorative mats concealing them and one in the office. With heavy use, the one in the office started to break down and little black chunks appeared all over the floor. The ones in the kitchen are doing fine and they do help cushion the hardness of the floor very well. My recommendation is that you throw these under a rug to extend the life and usefulness.

October 18, 2016
From the reviews, I expected better. My footprints stay visible for a surprising amount of time before filling back in and if you have to stand in same spot for long period....you almost sink to the ground... I ended up cutting mine into squares and using it to pad noise from equipment hitting the counter... worked GREAT for that. was very easy to cut with scissors (cheap ones at that).
Nice for short periods of standing (but not for all-day)
October 17, 2016
This mat works well for standing for a hour or two. It feels like memory foam in a vinyl covering. It is comfortable and cushioned enough for a hour or two. Unfortunately, I bought this to use at my standing desk where I am for 8+ hours a day. After a couple hours, I find that the cushion is not enough to keep it anti-fatigue for me.
Messy!
April 12, 2016
This mat is so-so. If you're going to wear shoes, it's probably not the one you want. They only vacuum my office once per week, and there are little black pieces all over the floor, because the tread on my shoes pulls them off of the mat. I figured this would go away, once it was broken in, but I've had it for 5 months, and it's still just as bad. It's definitely more comfortable than the concrete floor, and I've gotten to where I stand most of the day, because it helps with back pain, but I'll definitely be replacing this mat with something that won't make it look like Pig Pen uses my desk.
Not enough for standing at office
February 12, 2016
I bought this in hopes that it would be sufficient cushioning for working at a standing desk part of the day. Ok, it was cheap and had decent reviews. It is just not enough for me. I have plantar fasciitis and flat feet. Maybe if you have no foot problems it might be enough for you. I have ordered another mat, more expensive with more cushioning. This one is going to my husband's man garage.
Good for Short Amounts of Time
August 6, 2015
I am a music producer, video editor, programmer, and student and I work at a standing desk. I also use a stool intermittently. I like this product, especially for the price, though I honestly think it could be more supportive. I have been using it for more than a year and I find myself sitting more frequently as my feet and lower back hurt from long periods of standing (~2 hours before I sit to let my feet recover). I like the size though, as it does allow you to move around on the mat (which I find important to alleviate pressure in my feet). I'm considering buying a Cumulus based on stellar reviews and that it looks thicker and more supportive, but this is good for the price if you just need it in a kitchen (where I'm considering moving mine) or somewhere where you won't be standing in the same place for an extended amount of time.Pros:-Great price-Reasonable comfort-Great sizeCons:-Lacks support for long standing days-Could be thicker-Ridges make it difficult to clean

Nice, comfortable but not very durable.
July 4, 2017
VERY comfortable mat - but expect to replace it after about a year. Mine is just one year old and the surface is quite ragged looking after normal use in front of the kitchen sink. For the first six months, it looked beautiful and was easy to clean with a damp paper towel. Now it looks very worn and shabby. I gather from other reviews that the lifetime warranty is a joke - unless "lifetime" means 1 year.
Doesn't last
May 29, 2017
I bought this mat just a tad over a year ago, and it was great while it lasted. About a month ago, it began peeling up in spots. Now, it's starting to look pretty bad. I tried contacting Royal about this so-called "lifetime warranty", but I've yet to receive a response. I suppose I should have just spent a bit more on a higher quality one. I don't want to have to buy a new one every year.

March 21, 2017
It does exactly what it's supposed to but it's harder foam than I was thinking. I was hoping for something a bit more soft and memory foam like feeling. When I stepped on it, it felt better than the concrete, but I was a bit disappointed sadly. I have a few bath mats at home in the bathroom and kitchen that I picked up at Walmart and Target and those are very soft and cushiony.

I was looking for a Cuisinart mat because I know someone who has one and it is a nice mat. Unfortunately I couldn't find one anywhere. I ordered this mat because it seemed to meet the bill. I have two problems with it: 1) The mat is a little harder than I would have liked. 2) This mat doesn't stick to the floor as much as I'd like. If you don't step directly onto this mat it tends to slide on the floor. I'm constantly moving it back to where I want it. On the plus side, the price is right and the company I ordered it from shipped it promptly.

A Homemade Solution Might Have Left Me Happier
August 3, 2016
The product works as it is expected to work, so my dislike of it has to do more with its design rather than its function. Because the mechanism to lift and drop the levels is manual rather than some kind of folding, spring or gas assisted mechanism, it becomes a hassle in a hurry and makes this product hard to like. Second, because the vertical tracks (dual poles on either side of the product) are permanent, there is a limit to which my laptop can open (adequate, but sometimes I need more). The worst complaint is that, due to those four poles, the space (a good 6-8 inches) is completely useless. One more thing: because of those poles, if I sat to watch TV while working - which I nearly ALWAYS do - (and the product adjusted for use while seated) those poles block my view. Unfortunately, I sat around beyond the 30 day limit and could not return this product, which I certainly would have. All that said, though, I have observed, in all of the photos of other more sophisticated products (won't name the brands here) that they appear configured NOT for laptops but for computers that have separate keyboards. I surmised that those won't have worked for laptop use. Overall, too, I find that this product is overpriced for its simplicity of function.
Disappointing
June 28, 2016
I am disappointed in this product. The concept is good, however, it feels quite unsteady when fully extended, and the tension rod that supports the front of the platform would not stay at the height that I set it - the smallest amount of pressure would cause the rod to collapse and fall (thankfully the platform itself didn't follow!). After only a few uses, the tension rod came apart completely, and is virtually useless. I find myself nervous to use the desk, and I'm definitely not using it as much as I had hoped to. A complete waste of money - I should have spent an extra $50 for a sturdier option - I'm currently shopping for one.
Desk part is great, support system is awful.
February 10, 2016
This is a great standing desk, but the tension support it came with is crap. It is constantly collapsing and falling. Thankfully the desk stays up without it for a bit of time so my laptop doesn't come crashing down.
Very awkward, hard to adjust.
October 14, 2015
I returned this. I found it very awkward to use unless you have three hands. There is an extra peice that needs to be wedged under the front and it is a nuisance.

February 9, 2016
Granted, I am 270 pounds, but this anti fatigue mat does not have much padding at all. Anyone that comes in my office to check my stand up desk out always make a comment about how this mat really is not effective for long term standing, but maybe it was not meant for that. I only bought this because Amazon had the tag at the bottom that stated that customers that bought the stand up desk, also bought this mat.

December 15, 2015
Really thin. I purchased this to use with a standing desk, and it doesn't provide enough support/comfort, as I can feel the floor through this mat. Maybe it's a sign that I need to lose a few lbs, but I tried one at another retailer that's thicker, and it was thicker and has more support than this one. Didn't work out for me. Plus, the design looks a bit too industrial for my office space.

October 10, 2015
It wasn't quite as squishy as I wanted it to be. I found a much plusher mat at Costco but it also was 3 times as expensive as this one. Worth it to me in order to make standing more comfy.
It does not look like a fancy mat
October 3, 2015
I purchased this last week, and have used it for a week. When I first started standing, I noticed it did not support my feet properly. I don't spend on more than 30 minutes, so it is not that harmful. It does not look like a fancy mat, just a cheap piece of vinyl. When I first got it, I found a small part of white stains, so I scratched it a little bit. The stain didn't go away, but it left a scratch on the surface of the mat. It is cheaper than other mats, but it's easy to get cracked. If there's someone, looking for a mat that will support a little amount of comfort, this product is reasonable. However, I am looking for other mats that guarantee the surface of good quality.
Do NOT provide adequate cushioning
March 13, 2014
I'm returning these today. They are thin, smelly, and look like tires. I have a ceramic floor and a bad back, so I need the cushioning that these mats promised. They do not provide the cushioning I expected. I also did not like the lines going through the entire mat that look like tire treads. You can even feel them through thick slippers! And the rubber or vinyl smell did not go away after 48 hours. So back they go to amazon. So I tried another brand, and now I'm ordering 2 more of them: "NoTrax 511 Vinyl Marble Tuff Anti-Fatigue Floor Mat, 2' Width x 3' Length x 1/2" Thickness, Blue"
Mat Is Good For Light Use, Not Heavy Use
June 7, 2012
I purchased this mat in September of 2011, and have been using it until June 2012. I am an attorney who spends an average of 10 hours a day standing. The mat was purchased to combat foot, knee, and lower back pain from when I originally stopped sitting. When I first started standing at work, I noticed significant foot and lower back pain. I purchased this mat, and it originally alleviated the foot and lower back pain. However, I spend on average 10 hours per day standing at the office, and this mat does not provide the proper support for that amount of use. It is a cheap piece of vinyl that is obviously machine-cut from a much larger piece. These mats are being passed off as anti-fatigue mats, but they were most likely designed for another purpose. The vinyl is not attractive and should not be used where aesthetics are a concern.Pros:-The price is low relative to other anti-fatigue mats on Amazon.-Good for light use, perhaps standing one hour or less at a time.-The item is durable, and has not broken down after standing on it for nearly a year.Cons:-The mat is only 1/4" thick.-Does not provide proper support for someone standing eight hours or more per day.-Does not adequately prevent foot, knee, and back pain.-Made from cheap vinyl and obviously machine-cut off a much longer piece. Looks cheap as well.Bottom Line:If you are looking for a piece of material that will offer a low amount of support for a low price, this item is for you. However, don't expect this item to provide relief to your body if you are standing on it for long periods at a time.

Comfortable and nice looking but it slips
September 18, 2017
I really wanted to like this Royal Anti-Fatigue Comfort Mat. After all it is soft and has a beveled edge very nice looking but it does not grip well to the floor. It slips very easily and the beveled edge helps it do that unfortunately. I have not decided whether or not to keep it yet. For now I put it back in the box as I don't trust it not to slip and cause me to have a fall!

It is a comfortable mat. However it does move from where it's placed. My mat has lasted about a year before the surface started peeling. No shoes were worn on the mat.
Outer Layer is thin: peels and easily penetrated
April 12, 2017
The outer layer is thin. It peels and can be easily penetrated. The mat looks attractive, but after several months the coating began to come off in a few places and expose the foam inside. I stood on it once with some small heel (not high heeled) shoes and my heel broke the surface, which means water can now penetrate.
I would look for something else.
March 7, 2016
Comfortable mat, but the finish is peeling off really bad, it's a pain in the butt picking up pieces of the black mat coating from off my beige rug everyday.

February 8, 2016
For the price, the mat is very small in dimension. Not worth what I paid for it. Oil spattered a little bit while I was cooking and it was very obvious on the mat. I would return it if I could but I don't have the time to send it back.
comfortable if not uber attractive - update = looks terrible
September 11, 2015
comfort level is good. Less red in the color than I expected and it is very thick. overall good purchase not sure it looks that attractive in the kitchen but really purchased for comfort.UPDATE: color is just a covering that is now flaking off and the mat looks terrible. Would not purchase again. It's too bad because the cushioning is good but it didn't hold up

Not what I had expected
August 21, 2017
I cannot lift the top section with my monitor on it. I would NOT recommend this to anyone that wants an easy way to lift the system. I raised it once and it has not been up for weeks. Very disappointed.

July 31, 2017
With the weight of our slim computer screen, the desk top would slam down when released. Anyone who uses it will need to have sufficient upper body strength to hold the desk top up when releasing it to lower it because it wants to drop quickly. It also seemed very unstable and wobbled. We returned the item and purchased another adjustable desk top from a different seller.

Broken part delivered and assembly instructions poor
March 25, 2016
The product assembly instructions assume that the user is an expert. Very poor quality pictures. Thankfully it is a fairly simple product with not too many parts else would have returned it due to frustrating assembly experience.

Also the product has an optional supporting leg that makes the desk more stable. This supporting leg was delivered broken by the manufacturer.
Worst buy ever!'m

Product arrived on time, but is a literal price of crap, I could have bought the same thing at the dollar store and it probably wouldn't have broken. Which mine did, during assembly.

Horrible Quality! Do Not Buy!
January 9, 2017
Pieces of the mat began falling off within the first 10 minutes of use. The mat was also not as supportive as most mats I've owned within the same price range. I could not attempt a return since I had the item for a few months prior to actually unpacking and using it. The poor quality material pills up and many many little pieces fall off it nonstop. Makes a huge mess on the floor and it only takes stepping on it for a second or 2 for it to make the same mess again. I had much better luck with mats from Costco and Bed Bath & Beyond.
No, Just No
November 20, 2016
Let me say that I never send anything back, but I took the time and trouble for this. I got it and thought it didn't have much cushioning, so I went to Bed Bath and stood on 4 different kinds. This was by far the most lacking. You get what you pay for in this case.
Not an anti-fatigue mat!
February 29, 2016
I bought this mat because it is described as anti-fatigue but unfortunately it is not. It's very thin and that's why it is cheaper. I've one anti-fatigue foot-mat in office given by ergonomic experts and this one is not even close to that. There is no way this can prevent back pain or knee pain. It is good to use as pretty much regular mat and nothing more. It is definitely not for standing 8 hours and will not prevent any pains. I bought this believing it to be anti-fatigue. I believed the low price is because of Amazon itself selling it but not true. Probably, Amazon should remove the anti-fatigue word from here.If you are looking for quick use like 30mins or as a general purpose door mat this is good. Definitely, not an anti-fatigue mat!
I like to stand at the sink bare foot
October 11, 2015
I like to stand at the sink bare foot, the ridges on the top of this mat are extremely uncomfortable. Even with my walking shoes on, this mat isn't cushy enough, seems kind of hard, compared to others that I've stood on. So sorry I wasted my time on this.
cheap and uncomfortable
March 13, 2014
I just converted to standing desk, so I was looking fro a mat to stand at while I work on my computer all day. I was expecting more from this floormat. I'm not sure what it would be appropriate for, since I stood on it for about 2 minutes and it already had deep dents in it. It's also not even remotely comfortable to stand on, even with shoes.
No good...
November 12, 2012
I purchased two of these for my two, new counter height desks. The floor in my office is concrete with a very thin layer of carpeting so an anti-fatigue mat sounded like a great idea. This mat is VERY thin, it provides maybe 60 seconds of 'ant-fatigue'. I weigh 190 lbs and after standing on this for 60 seconds it essential levels out and goes flat... defeating the purpose of the entire thing.I'm not sure if I got the same product that everyone else is raving about, but I can't understand how it could be. I've ended up folding it into quarters just to get some cushioning, but I will be reinvesting in a much higher quality mat.Save yourself some money and time, buy higher quality.

I recommend buying a better quality product for your safety
May 20, 2017
I purchased 2 of these mats. They were both slippery on the top and bottom.. Most concerning was that they were so slippery my husband slipped and nearly fell. There seems to be a powdery substance (perhaps in packaging?) that will not wash off. I recommend buying a better quality product for your safety..
Started peeling within six months
May 10, 2017
This took care of my back pain quickly and completely, BUT it started peeling within six months and is just a mess. (We use weak Sal Suds to clean our newly refinished hardwood floors and clean the mat at the same time. So basically, a huge waster of money!
Would NOT recommend
March 22, 2017
This product did not hold up at all. The colored coating started bubbling soon after arrival. The coating has peeled off in areas now with only normal use ( kitchen- family of 3).
I am EXTREMELY disappointed in these mats
September 19, 2016
Do not buy these if you need them to stay in place! I am EXTREMELY disappointed in these mats. It's says they will not move but they DO! For the money I paid they should stay put!
Hard pass
August 2, 2016
The finish on these mats starting flaking off after a month or so of use, now after 9 months the mats look absolutely terrible. I would not recommend or repurchase.
Big dissapointment
November 24, 2015
Here's a five star review that was not paid for. Received this mat about a month ago and used it to replace one that costs about twice as much and does not have either the cushion or durability of this mat. Prior mats from another manufacturer had edges that eventually stuck up about an inch, causing a real hazard for tripping. This one is beveled and has edges that lay perfectly flat. Love it! Plan to buy another.UPDATE: One year later for one mat, one and one-half years for another, the surface is covered in many splits in the material. Nothing but flat shoes were used on these mats, but apparently they are just not made to last.
