Just what I ordered
April 2, 2017
This desk is great for those times when I need to stand and work at my laptop. It is lightweight on fits perfectly on my computer desk. I like that it can be adjusted to different heights for other locations.
An affordable solution!
January 30, 2017
Another great solution for a stand up desk. I love the height adjustments and it does keep things sturdy. It will slide around on polished surfaces, but I found putting a mat down lessens that. I stand up when I work, and this is the perfect height for my kitchen counter.
It is what I hoped it would be
December 7, 2015
Haven't used it much yet, but I like that the legs are adjustable and can go high enough for reading from a book or Kindle. And the table top swivels so you can tilt it toward you. There is a piece to flip up so whatever is on the table does not fall off if you tilt it, and it has a little well in it in which you could put a couple pens or styluses. It might be a little delicate; if I traveled with it, I would wrap it carefully.
Works great on my reclining chair
May 11, 2015
I use this while I am seated on my large recliner chair. It fits perfectly. I did tilt it and I had a problem with the mouse being susceptible to gravity. So, I used my electric glue gun to glue on a piece of clear acrylic as barrier. My mouse pad doesn't move at all.It folds up easily. Sometime soon, I will improve it, by making a pouch on the bottom of it to hold my mouse and glue down the mouse pad.
A Must for Frequent Travelers
March 9, 2015
I travel a lot for work, so I really enjoy this desk. It fits in my overhead bag and I bring it on all trips with me. Study and easy to use.
An excellent purchase - easy to use, lightweight, and flexible!
August 23, 2014
A few months ago I purchased the larger model - the Executive Stand Steady desk and I have been amazed at what a difference it has made. My doctor told me about the research reports that sitting for extended periods can lead to many serious health issues, including osteoporosis and heart disease, but I couldn't imagine how I could get all my work done if I didn't sit at my desk all day. Then I tried the Stand Steady - it's just what the doctor ordered! Even though I am a senior citizen, I had no trouble adapting to the prolonged standing position - it is actually much more comfortable than sitting. However, I often need to work on my computer while on travel so I really missed being able to stand up while typing and Internet browsing. Then I discovered the traveler stand-up desk. Not only does it fit easily in my suitcase, but it is very lightweight and easy to fold up and then re-open. But what I like best about it, is that it has an extra feature I don't have on the larger model - I can rotate the desk from 0 to 45 degrees to make it easier to tilt the screen for different lighting and other room conditions. I would highly recommend this model to anyone who needs to move around frequently - if you have just a small laptop, and don't need a large desk area, you might want to consider using it as your daily desktop - it's very comfortable and flexible.

foot operated kitchen waste can liked to walk
July 22, 2017
I've used these for years to cut down on fatigue while working standing up, but I bought this one for another reason. Our tall, foot operated kitchen waste can liked to walk. By putting one of these under it, it stays put.
It gave my knees and feet relief from the hard floor at work
June 22, 2017
If you stand on your feet all day at work, on a hard surface and go home with sore feet, back, knees or just beat. This mat will make it easier on your body. I work in the deli dept for a big chain food store, they threw out the old fatigue mats 4 months ago and we are still waiting for new ones. So i bought my own. it gave my knees and feet relief from the hard floor at work, everybody loves it! My co-workers may soon be buying their own until our cheap corp bosses get around to buy new ones.I reccomend this mat to anyone on their feet a long time at work! They ship fast too!
It is both comfortable and durable
June 13, 2017
I bought this mat for use with a standing desk and it worked perfectly. It is both comfortable and durable.
ESSENTIAL for use with any Sit-to-Stand Desk
April 15, 2017
Works fantastic with any Sit-to-Stand desk. I use it at the office everyday and it saves my legs everyday. 100% recommend.
Very Good.
May 6, 2015
This mat is great. Its just the right amount of cushioning to do the job. I stand all day cutting hair and It helps. Plus when I wear a more pointy heel, Im not off balance.

Almost perfect
April 18, 2017
While the desk works great and is lightweight (so it can be moved from room to room) it can be tricky to adjust. I did have to place padding between my laptop (or keyboard) and the desk to muffle the sound whenever I type. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.
Perfect for the price and mobility.
May 17, 2016
I love being able to stand at my desk. After looking at several options, I landed on the Stand Steady Traveler because of the price and ability to quickly move it from my desk to storage. Like others, I've had to come up with my own solution to the lack of traction on the stand's feet and purchased no-slip furniture rubber pads to stick on the bottom - works perfect. May have had to go out of the way to get them, but it wasn't something that bothered me. The desk does shake a little when you type, especially if you're a fast typer, but it's nothing that interferes with your work. There's a little storage compartment for a pen that I think is unnecessary, especially if your computer is big enough that, when on the desk, it covers up the compartment. I've had several co-workers ask to try the desk out for themselves and they've loved how easy it is to set up, raise/lower the height, and store. I would definitely buy this again.
Brittle Plastic Pieces Don't Last -- but Stand Steady Responded Quickly.
July 16, 2015
It's lovely and perfect, just the kind of thing I was looking for, but one of the tabs that braces the length of the legs snapped off on the very first day! I don't mind the light aluminum, but for $60, I would think it would at least not break so quickly._________________Follow on: I contacted the seller and they were very responsive. Thumbs up for customer service and adding a star.
Works well with some adjustments
May 14, 2015
I'm pretty happy with this stand - it's perfect to get started easily with a stand up desk. It does slide around a bit, so I'm using the non-slide stickers and that works well. Also note that if you have a key board with a number pad you won't have room for your mouse so you'll need to set that up beside it. Overall working great and I feel better already standing more this week!
Good, inexpensive stand-up desk
February 22, 2015
Exactly what I was hoping for. The product is inexpensive and is works well. A couple of items to be aware of: 1) I have a 13" MacBook Pro, and would not recommend using this with a larger computer; because the cup holder is quite small, and completely functional but not flush so it takes up some of the space; and, finally, is a little troubling that the desk seems wobbly, but no the extent that it interferes with work. For the traveler: I am considering taking the desk with me on my next extended trip, since it folds completely flat. Great all-around, and would recommend for a first ("I want to try out this whole standing desk deal") standing desk.
Great for elevating monitor
September 2, 2014
I use it for eye level with my monitor when standing and it when I am typing on my angled keyboard and it is the right height and strong enough to hold up my 23", 20 lb. monitor. It has a cup holder and looks like a pencil storage holder too. The height can be adjusted at the legs. Tis is perfect for people who like to stand or tall people sitting down.

Good mat for the price
August 14, 2017
Good simple mat for the money. Quality is very high, no problems. It's a lightweight mat, much simpler item than some of the others I've looked at, and of course also much less expensive.
Not overly thick, but decent.
August 28, 2016
I use this mat when I'm standing at my stand/sit desk. My office is carpeted, so I took a chance that this inexpensive mat would provide enough cushion. My feet definitely feel better when I use the mat.It does a fairly decent job of cushioning my feet. I'm not sure if it would provide enough cushion if I were using it on concrete. It's plenty large so sometimes I fold it to double the thickness. It's not so thick that I sink into it, and for me that's a good thing. When I'm not standing at my desk, I roll up the mat and set it aside. When I stand in it, depressions from my shoes appear fairly quickly. However, they disappear when I take a break from standing on it. Overall, the mat seems to be good quality and durable. For the price point, I think it is a decent mat. If you want maximum cushion, this probably is not the mat for you. For me, it works as needed.

Flimsy
September 18, 2015
I bought this stand up desk to use in the office, so I could easily pop up and down, using the standing desk for my wireless keyboard and touch pad. It was the right height for me. While I understand it needs to be light to work well as a literal traveling desk, it is very flimsy. The metal table part bounces up and down as I type on my keyboard and press on the touch pad. Perhaps it would work better with a heavier laptop, but for my purpose it's not that great. I rattle as I type. Also, the feet are hard plastic, and since it is so light, it slides around on the deck. I had to attach little rubber feet to keep it from moving. I will keep this because it's better than the cardboard box I was using, but honestly, not all that much better.
Flimsy, way overpriced
September 1, 2015
It does what it's supposed to do, but it's flimsy and cheaply made. There are plastic parts at key places, which contributes to its lack of stability. Of particular note is its high price. I was willing to give it a shot at $50, and while I feel that I paid about $20 too much, since it did serve my needs, I was willing to keep it. But I was surprised when it arrived: I was expecting better quality materials for that price. I now see that it's priced at $70, which is, plainly stated, a ripoff. If money is no object and you don't mind overpaying, this will likely do the trick (if you don't mind the constant movement while you're trying to type). But if you have any sense of value, find something else.
Not very stable, coarse adjustments
August 27, 2015
It's OK for web surfing. But when I start typing, the table shakes noticeably - I can't stand writing more than one sentence at a time. Also, the tilt angle adjustment is very coarse: at one click away from flat, the mouse slides off the table. The table surface is shiny enough that an optical mouse doesn't work very well.
Great for travelers - just a bit too small for me
August 15, 2015
Great idea. Just not wide enough for me. I use a wireless mouse with my laptop (hate the tiny touchpad area) and the surface isn't wide enough to accommodate. I did like the locking cam action adjusters. Also, it was generally pretty stable when using. The best feature was that it folded up nicely and fit in suitcase without taking up too much space. So, if you travel a lot, you might enjoy this.

Ordered these for our office, and the work for standing desks. They are not as sturdy as we would have hoped considering the price.
the good and bad
September 24, 2014
Smaller than I thought. I had to put rubber bands on the feet to keep it from sliding on my desk.I like that it can tilt and be raised or lowered.

Breaks down with heavy use
October 27, 2016
I have three of these. 2 in the kitchen with decorative mats concealing them and one in the office. With heavy use, the one in the office started to break down and little black chunks appeared all over the floor. The ones in the kitchen are doing fine and they do help cushion the hardness of the floor very well. My recommendation is that you throw these under a rug to extend the life and usefulness.

October 18, 2016
From the reviews, I expected better. My footprints stay visible for a surprising amount of time before filling back in and if you have to stand in same spot for long period....you almost sink to the ground... I ended up cutting mine into squares and using it to pad noise from equipment hitting the counter... worked GREAT for that. was very easy to cut with scissors (cheap ones at that).
Nice for short periods of standing (but not for all-day)
October 17, 2016
This mat works well for standing for a hour or two. It feels like memory foam in a vinyl covering. It is comfortable and cushioned enough for a hour or two. Unfortunately, I bought this to use at my standing desk where I am for 8+ hours a day. After a couple hours, I find that the cushion is not enough to keep it anti-fatigue for me.
Messy!
April 12, 2016
This mat is so-so. If you're going to wear shoes, it's probably not the one you want. They only vacuum my office once per week, and there are little black pieces all over the floor, because the tread on my shoes pulls them off of the mat. I figured this would go away, once it was broken in, but I've had it for 5 months, and it's still just as bad. It's definitely more comfortable than the concrete floor, and I've gotten to where I stand most of the day, because it helps with back pain, but I'll definitely be replacing this mat with something that won't make it look like Pig Pen uses my desk.
Not enough for standing at office
February 12, 2016
I bought this in hopes that it would be sufficient cushioning for working at a standing desk part of the day. Ok, it was cheap and had decent reviews. It is just not enough for me. I have plantar fasciitis and flat feet. Maybe if you have no foot problems it might be enough for you. I have ordered another mat, more expensive with more cushioning. This one is going to my husband's man garage.
Good for Short Amounts of Time
August 6, 2015
I am a music producer, video editor, programmer, and student and I work at a standing desk. I also use a stool intermittently. I like this product, especially for the price, though I honestly think it could be more supportive. I have been using it for more than a year and I find myself sitting more frequently as my feet and lower back hurt from long periods of standing (~2 hours before I sit to let my feet recover). I like the size though, as it does allow you to move around on the mat (which I find important to alleviate pressure in my feet). I'm considering buying a Cumulus based on stellar reviews and that it looks thicker and more supportive, but this is good for the price if you just need it in a kitchen (where I'm considering moving mine) or somewhere where you won't be standing in the same place for an extended amount of time.Pros:-Great price-Reasonable comfort-Great sizeCons:-Lacks support for long standing days-Could be thicker-Ridges make it difficult to clean

Flimsy but functional
December 5, 2015
Debating about whether to keep it. Which it felt more solid. Wouldn't leave my laptop on it unattended; a strong vibration might cause laptop to slide off. Would be nice if there were some edging all around the desktop. There is a "pop-up" edge on one side that I mistook at first for a pen/pencil holder. You open the edge to keep your computer from sliding if you tilt the tray.As others have noted, the feet are slippery, too.$70 seem like a lot for this, but I'm not trying to spend hundreds of dollars either.
Cheaply made
September 26, 2015
It serves the function, but it seems made of cheap materials thst easily scratch and may break. Given the price of the item, consider looking at other options. For those of us who travel, I am not confident that this portable desk will withstand the use.
Too flimsy and not stable
September 15, 2015
Had it for 6 months; now one of the legs came off. And can't put it back it...The table is too flimsy and not stable at times. The desk area is very small only fitting a notebook, nothing else...I doubt if it would be feasible to pack in your back with a laptop and be good to go...
Flimsy, wobbly and slidey, oh my!
July 10, 2015
Man was I disappointed when I took this thing out of the box. I thought I won a prize from the gum-ball machine - this things is so flimsy. And how much did I pay for this???I searched high and low to find a keyboard riser that would accommodate a treadmill desk. I will applaud this stand's ability to rise to the height I needed but every push on the keyboard buttons sends this thing into a wobble, it's support system is highly disappointing. Lightweight and strong are two completely different terms when applied to this one.I'm not crazy about the color scheme either with the orange latches/buttons and white joining pieces - who has a creamsicle colored desk??? Again though, it's the only thing I could find that met the height and width requirement for my desk. Also, there is no reliable resistance on the feet to keep the stand secured on top of a desk. It slides like there are a couples sticks of butter on those legs. I'll have to invest in some adhesive rubber pads.
Wobbly
June 24, 2015
Very wobbly. I expected much better quality for the price.
Disappointing Quality
November 19, 2014
Disappointing product quality. Certainly light-weight, but also seems cheaply made and not "steady"---but instead quite wobbly. As noted by someone else, the plastic feet tend to glide across a flat surface It just arrived and I am going to immediately return it.

February 9, 2016
Granted, I am 270 pounds, but this anti fatigue mat does not have much padding at all. Anyone that comes in my office to check my stand up desk out always make a comment about how this mat really is not effective for long term standing, but maybe it was not meant for that. I only bought this because Amazon had the tag at the bottom that stated that customers that bought the stand up desk, also bought this mat.

December 15, 2015
Really thin. I purchased this to use with a standing desk, and it doesn't provide enough support/comfort, as I can feel the floor through this mat. Maybe it's a sign that I need to lose a few lbs, but I tried one at another retailer that's thicker, and it was thicker and has more support than this one. Didn't work out for me. Plus, the design looks a bit too industrial for my office space.

October 10, 2015
It wasn't quite as squishy as I wanted it to be. I found a much plusher mat at Costco but it also was 3 times as expensive as this one. Worth it to me in order to make standing more comfy.
It does not look like a fancy mat
October 3, 2015
I purchased this last week, and have used it for a week. When I first started standing, I noticed it did not support my feet properly. I don't spend on more than 30 minutes, so it is not that harmful. It does not look like a fancy mat, just a cheap piece of vinyl. When I first got it, I found a small part of white stains, so I scratched it a little bit. The stain didn't go away, but it left a scratch on the surface of the mat. It is cheaper than other mats, but it's easy to get cracked. If there's someone, looking for a mat that will support a little amount of comfort, this product is reasonable. However, I am looking for other mats that guarantee the surface of good quality.
Do NOT provide adequate cushioning
March 13, 2014
I'm returning these today. They are thin, smelly, and look like tires. I have a ceramic floor and a bad back, so I need the cushioning that these mats promised. They do not provide the cushioning I expected. I also did not like the lines going through the entire mat that look like tire treads. You can even feel them through thick slippers! And the rubber or vinyl smell did not go away after 48 hours. So back they go to amazon. So I tried another brand, and now I'm ordering 2 more of them: "NoTrax 511 Vinyl Marble Tuff Anti-Fatigue Floor Mat, 2' Width x 3' Length x 1/2" Thickness, Blue"
Mat Is Good For Light Use, Not Heavy Use
June 7, 2012
I purchased this mat in September of 2011, and have been using it until June 2012. I am an attorney who spends an average of 10 hours a day standing. The mat was purchased to combat foot, knee, and lower back pain from when I originally stopped sitting. When I first started standing at work, I noticed significant foot and lower back pain. I purchased this mat, and it originally alleviated the foot and lower back pain. However, I spend on average 10 hours per day standing at the office, and this mat does not provide the proper support for that amount of use. It is a cheap piece of vinyl that is obviously machine-cut from a much larger piece. These mats are being passed off as anti-fatigue mats, but they were most likely designed for another purpose. The vinyl is not attractive and should not be used where aesthetics are a concern.Pros:-The price is low relative to other anti-fatigue mats on Amazon.-Good for light use, perhaps standing one hour or less at a time.-The item is durable, and has not broken down after standing on it for nearly a year.Cons:-The mat is only 1/4" thick.-Does not provide proper support for someone standing eight hours or more per day.-Does not adequately prevent foot, knee, and back pain.-Made from cheap vinyl and obviously machine-cut off a much longer piece. Looks cheap as well.Bottom Line:If you are looking for a piece of material that will offer a low amount of support for a low price, this item is for you. However, don't expect this item to provide relief to your body if you are standing on it for long periods at a time.

November 23, 2015
I was trying to contact the seller directly to provide this feedback but was unable to locate the link in order to do so. We've had this stand for about two months; Today was the first time I attempted to shorten the stand legs. Only one leg's mechanism works, making it only possible to use at the highest height. Had I noticed this in the first 30 days I would have returned for a replacement.

Just delivered today. This thing is a joke, right? I can't believe I paid $70 for this piece of plastic. Wobbly as hell--I feel like I'm getting motion sickness. Can't even support the weight of my hands. Who are these people leaving 5-star reviews on this thing? Seriously, who are you? Do you actually exist? I'm perplexed.Anyway, thanks for listening--I'm returning this piece of garbage tomorrow at the crack of dawn. I'm honestly embarrassed. I'm gonna go for a walk.
You'll LOVE HATING this standing desk!
September 22, 2015
This standing desk is advertised as lightweight and DEAR GOD is it lightweight! So lightweight you'll enjoy the experience of chasing it around your desk while you type and your laptop shakes uncontrollably. So lightweight, one drop and this sucker's a goner! Don't dare fold the legs in, unless you prefer your standing desk broken. Also I'm really enjoying the vintage look - scratches galore! I think I sneaked one by them, people pay extra for that I'm sure. And I LOOOOVE that it wasn't shipped in a box, just the box it comes in. SUCH QUALITY!I mean if you're in the market to grossly overspend on a zero quality, this desk is for you!And as long as you're overpaying, go for that one-day shipping and you can be annoyed 24 hours sooner!

August 25, 2015
I received my stand up desk today and was immediately struck by the flimsiness of the product. The entire desk shakes when used as a laptop stand (placed on top of another desk) and, as another reviewer mentioned, the desk slides across flat surfaces unless placed on non-slide pads or otherwise backstopped. When I attempted to adjust the height, the orange tab snapped off entirely, rendering the desk virtually un-adjustable. I will most certainly be returning this POS.

Horrible Quality! Do Not Buy!
January 9, 2017
Pieces of the mat began falling off within the first 10 minutes of use. The mat was also not as supportive as most mats I've owned within the same price range. I could not attempt a return since I had the item for a few months prior to actually unpacking and using it. The poor quality material pills up and many many little pieces fall off it nonstop. Makes a huge mess on the floor and it only takes stepping on it for a second or 2 for it to make the same mess again. I had much better luck with mats from Costco and Bed Bath & Beyond.
No, Just No
November 20, 2016
Let me say that I never send anything back, but I took the time and trouble for this. I got it and thought it didn't have much cushioning, so I went to Bed Bath and stood on 4 different kinds. This was by far the most lacking. You get what you pay for in this case.
Not an anti-fatigue mat!
February 29, 2016
I bought this mat because it is described as anti-fatigue but unfortunately it is not. It's very thin and that's why it is cheaper. I've one anti-fatigue foot-mat in office given by ergonomic experts and this one is not even close to that. There is no way this can prevent back pain or knee pain. It is good to use as pretty much regular mat and nothing more. It is definitely not for standing 8 hours and will not prevent any pains. I bought this believing it to be anti-fatigue. I believed the low price is because of Amazon itself selling it but not true. Probably, Amazon should remove the anti-fatigue word from here.If you are looking for quick use like 30mins or as a general purpose door mat this is good. Definitely, not an anti-fatigue mat!
I like to stand at the sink bare foot
October 11, 2015
I like to stand at the sink bare foot, the ridges on the top of this mat are extremely uncomfortable. Even with my walking shoes on, this mat isn't cushy enough, seems kind of hard, compared to others that I've stood on. So sorry I wasted my time on this.
cheap and uncomfortable
March 13, 2014
I just converted to standing desk, so I was looking fro a mat to stand at while I work on my computer all day. I was expecting more from this floormat. I'm not sure what it would be appropriate for, since I stood on it for about 2 minutes and it already had deep dents in it. It's also not even remotely comfortable to stand on, even with shoes.
No good...
November 12, 2012
I purchased two of these for my two, new counter height desks. The floor in my office is concrete with a very thin layer of carpeting so an anti-fatigue mat sounded like a great idea. This mat is VERY thin, it provides maybe 60 seconds of 'ant-fatigue'. I weigh 190 lbs and after standing on this for 60 seconds it essential levels out and goes flat... defeating the purpose of the entire thing.I'm not sure if I got the same product that everyone else is raving about, but I can't understand how it could be. I've ended up folding it into quarters just to get some cushioning, but I will be reinvesting in a much higher quality mat.Save yourself some money and time, buy higher quality.
