Exactly what I was looking for.

Easy to set up. This conversion kit worked well with my monitor and keyboard, and it's light enough that I can take it off my desk if I want to sit while I write. My only issue was with Amazon's shipping. The kit comes in two boxes for a monitor stand and a keyboard stand. Amazon sent me the monitor stand only. I called Uncaged Ergonomics and they sent me the rest of the order direct from their warehouse. So, if you're interested in this conversion kit, I would suggest you order it direct from Uncaged.
Works perfect for my needs.

Saving my back using this. I set the monitor up once and left it. I placed the keyboard stand, off in a corner and grab it as I need it. With a wireless keyboard and mouse it's super easy to transition and I just tilt the monitor for standing or sitting position.
Great product!

I work on the computer all day and need to stand sometimes. This works great. It is so easy to change from sitting and standing. It takes a little bit of time to set the adjustments for the correct height but once it is set, it works so well. I just leave both on my desk at all times. When I am standing, the monitor goes on the monitor stand and the keyboard on the keyboard stand. When I want to sit down, I just move the monitor to the keyboard stand and place my keyboard on the tray under my desk. My desk is 2 feet deep. The smaller stand does slide under the larger stand so I have enough room for both and also have some storage space under the stands. I type all day as a transcriptionist and the stand is very sturdy with no movement at all, once I figured out to spread the legs out so they are a little wider at the base.
Great, In-expensive Stand Up Desk!
September 14, 2015
I love this! I've had several back surgeries and by allowing me to have this on my desk, without replacing my desk, is great! The only problem I have with it, is the place for the mouse; my mouse tends to slide off.
It is true that it not super sturdy.
August 4, 2014
It is true that it not super sturdy...but it works perfectly for my needs. I use it with my macbook pro, mac keyboard, mac trackpad and I use my magic mouse on the mouse pad. perfect solution for me. I am 5'10' and had to fiddle around to get the best configuration to make the screen as close to eye level as possible...it didn't quite make it but it is very close. I do not think very tall people could use this though at eye level...
Does exactly what I needed

I wanted a way to set up a standing option for my laptop that I can use as an alternative to buying a standing desk. I have a regular desk and set this up next to my 'sitting' monitor so I can stand for a while and then sit for a while. I read other comments complaining that you can't easily take this up and down, which is true. You need to figure out how to adjust it to your ideal standing configuration and not expect to quickly move it to alternative configurations. I wasn't expecting it to expand and collapse like a hydraulic desk would so this worked just as I expected and still gave me a very flexible configuration for my standing alternative. Alternatives that can adjust at a touch would cost a lot more, this works just fine when used the way I'm using it. And I didn't want to buy a whole new desk, just add something to the top of my existing desk.I also see complaints about the mouse pad, which I'm not using at all. It now comes with a better mousepad than the original one that other commentors are complaining about. My favorite way to use it is to put the laptop on the top stand and use the bottom stand for my mouse (just put the mouse on the bottom stand, where the keyboard could go). It doesn't seem flimsy to me, nor am I seeing any wobbling. I could also put a monitor on the top unit and a keyboard on the bottom, but haven't done so because it's working fine for me as-is.Update:After using this a bit more I have some additional information to provide. I kept reading that it was wobbly and wasn't having that problem. When I decided to change the way I had it set up I realized that it is possible to get it into some wobbly configurations, since each leg is endlessly adjustable. The key is to keep the bottom two legs pretty close together for stability then use the top leg for height. Or reverse the bottom leg so it points backward. Anyway it you have to play around with the configuration to be sure you end up with a stable arrangement, which you can test by trying to wiggle it around before actually putting a computer on it. That means even more than before that this is a 'set it and forget it' device, not something you will constantly keep changing. That is the way I intended to use it, so that's fine for my purposes, but you need to be aware of that.

Good Price, Sturdy, Big enough space for keyboard and mouse pad and coffee,
February 18, 2017
After trying to judge which of the laptop carts available are better buys, as most have problems with the welding and mechanics of the base and legs, I decided to go with the Amazon recommended basic version of this Seville unit. I have had many of these laptop stands in the past and all of them failed in the welds eventually. I got at least 3 years out of them on average. This non-tilting version is by far the strongest built stand I have owned with thicker steel tubing in the legs than most. compared to others I have had, it feels sturdy too. I can see why this unit has the distinction of "Amazon's Choice", It's a good usable size, sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. I am adding my recommendation too. I've tried a lot of the others and now I wouldn't buy any of them other than this one.
Great Laptop Table
July 17, 2015
I've had this for over a year. My fiancee and I liked it so much, we bought another one after a year.TOP:The top has a large surface area that measures 23.5 inches (~59.5 cm) across and 16 inches deep (~41 cm) at the midline, which is the deepest point. The top is made of plywood with a pseudo-wood top.Currently, I have no scratches on either top (we don't necessarily baby these...).The top can come off to be rotated 180 degrees to give the top about a 35 degree tilt. My laptop, with its amazing rubber feet, stays on the tilted surface well, however, other laptops, ipads, a mouse, a book, etc will likely just slide off as there's nothing to stop it.This is sturdy, except at some point the welds (as seen in the video) didn't hold up and it's not quite as sturdy. However, it's still pretty sturdy.MID SECTION:The top can move from 20 inches tall (~51 cm) to 33 inches tall (~84 cm). If it gets too tall, it can get wobbly. The knob actually holds this well into position.BASE:The base has 4 wheels on the bottom. 2 of the four have a little tab that allows you to brake the cart to prevent it from moving. The wheels do pretty good on short carpet and hardwood floors. Shaggy carpet could perhaps be a little more of a challenge. The top of the base sits about 3.5 inches tall, allowing the base to slide under many couches. If your couch is like mine, over 2 inches is too high. The wheels do come off, except the bolt is what holds the plastic endcap on the base. You could go to homedepot and get bolts that replace the wheels, or you could instead just use clear tape (what I used).Overall, this is a great laptop/multipurpose cart. If you are worried about the price, if you keep this for 5 years, then you pay only like 7 dollars on average.Hopefully this has helped, hit helpful if I've help!

Table works great!!! Height is adjustable and perfect for 15 inch laptop. I can even add a small notebook
Perfect stand for small spaces!
April 3, 2015
For under 40 bucks you can't do much better than this. After years of using a trash can in the bathroom as a laptop stand, I finally figured I should get something more professional looking that was also easy to push out of the way. This fits the bill perfectly. The height is adjustable, assembly took less than 10 minutes, and it's rock solid. I was worried that the cats might tip it over when they inevitably jumped on it, but it holds firm. It's also perfectly level and functions as a book stand or tablet stand just as well. Since the top drops with the twist of a screw it's easy to push under the counter when not in use.
Great product. Great price.

I bought three rounds of these for my classroom. They are easy to assemble, move around, adjust in height and look great.
Excellent product just what I was looking for
February 17, 2013
The desk cart is very stable and easy to put together. It is easy to adjust and rolls freely. I use it on a laminate floor. The surface size is perfect for my keyboard and mouse which is what I am using it for. I have my PC connected to my T.V. and wanted something to hold my keyboard and mouse. I use my PC to watch Netflix, internet content and to work on. This way I do not have to buy a monitor in addition to a T.V.

Excellent standing desk alternative
July 17, 2015
This is a wonderful alternative for those who want a standing work-space but can't shell out $$$$ for a fancy desk. The product comes in two pieces: my 13" Macbook sits on the larger piece, and my favorite Anker wireless keyboard and Logitech M570 Wireless Trackball mouse on the smaller piece. 4 stars because the adjustment process is a little finicky, not the smoothest or most intuitive, but once you get the hang of it, it does the job - and for the price, it's worth it. I recently transported the set from home to my office - it's light weight and easy to carry. Will probably buy a second set for the home office as well.
Works well for what I need
May 6, 2014
I bought this because I'm just starting my career and I'm trying to prevent health issues from sitting at a computer all day. I was unsure about this product for a couple of reasons. First, I was worried because my monitor is just under the weight limit for the stand. Second, I'm pretty tall so I wasn't sure if the stand was going to be tall enough. For the most part, the product works as designed. I can go from standing to sitting (and vice versa) in about a minute... but not by adjusting the stands. As far as I can tell, there's no way to adjust the stand while the monitor is on it. So I simply move the keyboard and mouse stand to the side and then move my monitor onto my desk. This works well for me because my desk is actually comprised of 3 tables so I'm able to leave the monitor and keyboard stand in the full upright position and just move them back onto the table behind my main desk. The monitor stand does seem a little flimsy but it hasn't fallen. I wouldn't recommend using this if your monitor exceeds the weight they recommend. As for the height, it's almost but not quite where it should be (top of monitor at eye level). I'm 5'10" and I have the stand all the way up the highest it can go. I wouldn't mind it being taller, but my desk also seems short to me, so if I had a taller desk it would be even better. I would love to be able to afford an actual stand sit desk (like you see in doctor's offices) but I also didn't have $1000 to drop on one of those. This product was considerably cheaper but still worth the price in my opinion.
easily adjustable but flimsy keyboard stand
April 21, 2014
I found the Workez Standing Desk to be easy to put together and easily adjustable. While the monitor piece is sturdy, I found the keyboard piece to be a bit flimsy. It moves around even when I type gently. It is an improvement to my DIY stand-up desk. Sitting all day and standing all day are both bad for ones back, so the option of switching from sitting to standing is perfect.
possible improvements to product
April 4, 2014
product keyboard sits on needs a skid resistant product adhered to the legs to prevent slippage on desk.mouse stand needs a brace from bottom center to the leg of the keyboard stand, for better support of the mouse.
Great Customer Service
January 9, 2014
I was having a challenge with the monitor table and reached customer service by email. John returned my call and has been above and beyond in customer service. He's sending me another monitor table with ratcheted leg adjustments which are slightly different than the one I have -- It was awesome to stand and not be confined to sitting. He even suggested that I invest in a high chair or stool so I could relax when needed but not have to be fully seated. I am so grateful. Thank you John!
It does what it says!!!!

I had back surgery early in the year and then a freak accident falling down the stairs a month later. I went in to check with my doctor earlier this month and apparently my desk job was adding insult to injury so she suggested I take more breaks to walk around and be more on my feet. Well I did as told and ended up getting in trouble for it at work.Long story short after not wanting to compromise my back with my job this was the best solution for me.I now stand all day at work and my back has had a ton of relief. After shopping around this is the most cost effective desk riser that doesnt put a hole in your pocket and it is probably one of the most wise investments I have made. Its a clean cut design that I got in black so it doesnt look silly. The only thing I just wish I could alter is place the mouse part of it higher because thats just my personal preference since if its attached to the leg and i alter the keyboard then the mouse is place in a super awkward position. The keyboard part allows for some room to write n a notepad. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone get this for if you want to stand at work.

Amendment #2After looking up the manufacturer and describing the situation, they asked for a few questions to be answered like proof of purchase and photos of the defective parts. I was notified today that they parts have been shipped and should arrive in 5-7 days. Pretty hassle free.I need to amend my review. I haven't used this desk more than a handful of times in my photo studio. It doesn't get moved around much and on the second time I readjusted the tilt, part of the latch that does the locking, on the right side, broke into two pieces and now the table top is useless as with only one working latch, I fear that it will not stay in place and I will find my laptop on the floor in pieces. Hoepfully Amazon can put me in touch with the manufacturer and I will be able to get parts to repair it.When looking for a laptop stand for my photo studio, my requirements included a height-adjustable platform that tilted. I also wanted space for a mouse as I find this is easier than using the touchpad or pointer on the keyboard. It also had to be easy to move around as I shoot tethered to my camera. This stand checked all of the boxes. A sturdy metal frame with casters (lockable), height adjustment that allows a comfortable position for my 6'-1 frame, a fixed mouse platform that in positioned in a comfortable location. The laptop platform has a lip on both sides so that it can be used right or left handed without disassembling. The tilting table is locked in place by two finger operated friction latches similar to a tripod. the size allows it to be used with any size laptop up to 17" or larger.I am very happy with this stand and recommend it for anyone who needs a portable surface for their laptop while standing.
Really good quality and a good buy
June 24, 2016
It's a very nice table that looks well in my living room and is comfortable to use while sitting on my sofa. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality as well. The table looks like fine wood furniture. It rolls comfortably on my wood floors and my laptop stays on it without sliding even though I keep the table tilted and there is no edge bar to keep it from falling off. The table is smooth and other items slide off so I am not sure why my laptop doesn't but am very glad that it doesn't. An optional edge bar would be a good idea though. There are only two things that I would like improved upon. 1. The table came with absolutely no assembly instructions. I did not have difficult getting it assembled once I gathered all the pieces together and thought of it as a puzzle. Someone not so adept at puzzles may have some difficulty with assembly though. Secondly, I thought from the photo that the base leg was offset and that is why I wanted to purchase this item so that I could elevate my legs on a foot stool and pull the table close to me on the sofa so I could use the keyboard without difficulty. The base leg is in the center so the only way to elevate your legs is to have the base leg in between your thighs...not very comfortable. I intend to keep this table however as it is very good quality and continue to search for a laptop table that can roll under the sofa with an offset leg as I had hoped this table to have.
Live and learn...to read the specifications CAREFULLY!
June 4, 2016
Unfortunately, I relied on the Customer Reviews and responses to questions in my purchase decision rather than the product specifications. Silly me.NOTE: Although both models of this product as advertised (and reviewed) appear similar in design - they are significantly DIFFERENT in function. To wit, I wanted an affordable laptop cart that would drop to my true "lap" top - 20 inches. The product/model I ordered - with the side table - does NOT drop down to 20 inches. As indicated in the product specs, the lowest setting for this model is 27 inches. Per my measuring tape...that is absolutely correct. The lowest height for the model with the side table is 27 inches. The product/model that drops down to 20 inches is the "standard" model - with a top that DOES NOT tilt - and no side table.I gave the table four stars because I like it...seems a good, solid table for the price. I just don't love it:) I'm really hoping I'm gonna "love" the standard model that drops to 20 inches...which I'm going to have to order.
0 Stars - Useless for my needs
January 28, 2016
This review will be a bit confusing so I've broken it into two parts: (1) Review - (2) Comments with Picture(1) - REVIEW - WHEELS ON: 0 Stars - Useless for my needs, moved around a lot while using it, very unsteady on my hardwood floors, even with wheels in locked position.- WHEELS OFF: 5 Stars - The best for it's price, maybe even better - the perfect stand.Even though I'm giving it 0 stars with wheels, removing them completely changed the value of the product, enough to warrant 5 stars for my uses.I bought this to use both at my desk as a keyboard stand and with my sofa as stand for iPad and laptop. I found when I used the stand on hardwood floors with the wheels on, the stand was unsteady and moved around - I was afraid to put my laptop on it because I might knock it over, even with the wheels in locked position. BUT...when I removed the wheels and added a couple adhesive pads (the type you put under furniture on hardwood floors) my opinion completely changed.(2) COMMENTS WITH PICTUREI always return a product if it doesn't live up to its performance claims, but I chose to keep this, which is a first for me. It's a great stand without the wheels. I would recommend this stand to anyone with the caveat being it's not as sturdy with wheels on as it is with wheels off. Finally, the stand I received looks a lot better than it's picture and has two crossbars holding up the center post and tabletop instead of the one crossbar shown in the picture - the post ends up bolted to both crossbars - that obviously makes the stand itself studier than the model shown in the picture, which must be an older version.(Attached is a picture showing both the apparently updated version of the stand and how it looks without wheels.)
about 200 hours of use from an easy chair. Here are some plusses
September 1, 2015
Lots of research paid of on this stable, simple, and handsome standard size computer desk, $38. So far, about 200 hours of use from an easy chair. Here are some plusses, minuses, and comments:Good: Good welding and paint job. Sturdy desktop - post is attached to the middle of the top. Sturdy stand made of appropriate gauge metal. Simple construction: not much to go wrong and easy quick setup (20 minutes) All tools needed are provided (disposable little wrench too) Center of gravity is in the right place. Minimum and maximum height covers any normal height seating. One reviewer states 20.5 - 31 inches. Base including wheels is 3 inches high. Plenty of room for 14" wide laptop and mouse. With effort, can get laptop, mouse, external keyboard, fan, and navigator mouse on table. Tough.Shortcomings: (not faults) Instructions weak, but adequate if you take time to work it out. Surface area great for computer and mouse, but not much more. Not designed for a bed due to center post, but could work if sitting up.Can be used without wheels if desired (not sure why you would)Might be a little hard to roll on a thick rug, but that comes with the low clearance of 3 inches. Not hard to lift a little to help move.
Works well for me...
March 18, 2015
I was laid up for 3 months with a broken leg and I worked from home during this time, mostly sitting on the couch in our living room. I started out using a folding dinner tray table, but those don't extend over my lap enough to be comfortable. I eventually ordered this, using a gift card I received for Christmas. I wanted something that matched our furniture and other decorations better, but I ended up choosing function over form instead.I had to remove the wheels because with them in place the bottom of the stand will not fit under our couch, but it's not very heavy and it slides well across our carpet.Assembly was quick and easy. Be careful not to over-tighten the bolts that hold the tabletop on or you will push them through the other side. I almost over-tightened mine and I could see bulges under the laminate on the finished side of the table before backing the bolts back out.I found the table top to be more than adequate to hold my Surface Pro 3, while I worked from home and I ate most meals off the table as well. The adjustable height feature is nice and can be easily readjusted as necessary without any fuss. It's just simple knob that puts pressure on the inner tube to hold it in place.I work in IT and frequently work from home nights and weekends and I still use this laptop desk regularly now that I'm back up on two legs again. When not in use, I store it at the far end of one of our couches in the living room, out of sight.

Definitely within budget!
July 7, 2017
Definitely within budget, has helped with my shoulder pain I was having with the regular sit-down- desk. Although, at first it wasn't as easily adjustable as the directions made it seem I got the hang of it and I'm recommending this product to some coworkers.
Sturdy but Not Smooth
October 3, 2016
I don't think I read the description closely enough - each angle/crook in the legs can be adjusted, but it needs to be adjusted one at a time. On each joint there is a compass where you can read the degrees and make sure each side aligns, but I'm stuck with this since my job paid for it.Pros:-sturdy-aluminum which disperses heat-holes for a laptop fanCons:-stiff-not easily adjustable.
One time conversion
September 6, 2016
This product is good for a ONE-TIME conversion from sitting to standing. The adjustable arms are difficult to manipulate if you wanted to switch back and forth more than once a day. (or week for that matter) In order to do so, you need to adjust 12 different settings. Once it was set up, it is fine.
For the price, this is a reasonable solution for a standing desk with a laptop
June 18, 2016
The keyboard stand is wobbly and the clip-on mouse pad addition functions, but could be designed better for stability. I do like the built in fan and extra USB ports, and the height is comfortable with me being 6'1" and using with a laptop. It takes some work getting the legs extended just right, so don't plan for this to be a quick-change going from sitting to standing position. For the price, this is a reasonable solution for a standing desk.
Does the job if you want a fixed height standing desk
March 18, 2015
The word "Adjustable Sit Stand" in the product title may create the impression that you can adjust if from sitting to standing "on the fly", this is absolutely not the case. You have to take everything off of the component and turn it alternately on each side to be able to adjust it.That said, for the price it does the job. I liked the one I bought for work enough that I bought one for home as well.Getting it to the height you want can take a degree in trigonometry, but they have instructions for some standard setting that worked for me.
It does the job....
January 5, 2014
This stand certainly does what it is suppose to do. I like it a lot. However, it has a few flaws: 1) It can be wobbly at times; 2) From time to time, your mouse will fall off the attached mouse pad (especially if you are a fast typer); and 3) You will be a bunch of comments from your co-workers about your "new set-up." I like the fact that I know don't always find myself sitting. I think it is healthier standing up. I use a second monitor, a wireless mouse, and a wireless keyboard so that I can also sit down and type, too.

Not meant to be used as pictured. The stand should not be used like an easel, as it WILL allow a laptop to easily slide off.
June 24, 2017
The picture of this stand is very deceiving! It tilts, and locks in place, and that's good for my needs. However, I've concluded that the stand is designed to be used flat/horizontal...only. Though there are two raised bumpers at the top and bottom of the large surface, they will not prevent a laptop from sliding off easily. You certainly can not use is as it is displayed by the vendor. It is NOT an easel! The construction is very good, the holes match up and pieces go together just fine. The finish on the metal parts is good, and the faux wood surfaces are attractive. All you have to do is stumble through the horrible assembly instructions. The screws used are not clearly identified, and caused me to go through way too much trial and error: "Does this one go here, or there?" If you like obscure puzzles, you'll enjoy assembling this stand.
TV tray table adjusts only in height
May 6, 2017
This is a good start on making a tv (or couch) table that is actually useful. The table can be brought up to the point it nearly touches your chest when you are seated. It comes only partially assembled (which is clearly indicated in the product description on Amazon) but final assembly is very easy.My complaints are: (1) it only adjusts in height. The tray top cannot be slanted. (2) The attachment of the top to the base comprises threaded nuts that are screwed into particle board. The top simply broke free of the nuts when the unit was picked up by the edges of the top. I'm sure that the designer did not plan for it to be so handled (mis-handled?) but still, this is a major weakness both physically and as a design element.
Inexpensive, so-so quality.
March 28, 2017
This serves the purpose of an inexpensive mobile cart for your desktop. However, it appears to have a contact paper type finish which attracts fingerprints immediately. In addition, one of the locks for the large table broke and I've had it only for one day. Unfortunately, I'm not going to take the time to disassemble it and return it since it took me about an hour to assemble it. The best part is the sturdiness of the base. Too bad that doesn't translate to the table.
A Fine Moble Laptop Desk Cart, but not for me.....
February 16, 2017
I ordered this mobile Laptop Desk Cart after reading reviews from others who had also purchased this item. I received the item on time and was very impressed with the packaging and the quality of the cart pieces that were to be assembled. Assembly was easy and within 45 minutes I was ready to try my new desk/cart out. I did so, placing my laptop on the cart and began typing only to feel the cart wobble. Not badly, but enough to distract me from my work. I tried adjusting the table to various heights, as well as placing the wheeled base on different flooring, from carpet to hardwood and it still wobbled for me. It might have been me and the way I type, I don't know. I even removed the wheels, but that didn't help either. Begrudgingly I disassembled the desk/cart and returned it. This was a fine looking, strong good looking table and I wouldn't discourage someone else from trying this item, it just didn't work for me.
wobbly without the wheels
November 21, 2016
This is my first impression review. I've been using this table for less than an hour.I'm using my Surface Pro on it and I did not attach the wheels to the bottom. My first complaint is that it wobbles easily. It wobbles when I type. I may try adding the wheels to see if that helps. However, the problem lies in that it's a bit top heavy with not a wide enough base.Overall, the construction is decent. The stand is adjustable by a screw that just pushes on the middle support. Hence, it might slip over time. You could drill holes to keep that from happening though.I've mostly been using my TableMate for this. The TableMate does not wobble nearly as much and is nearly as sturdy. However, the TableMate has a lip that goes around the table that doesn't work well with a Surface laptop. The table top is a wood composite. The bottom of it is a bit sharp, but isn't bad. The metal cuts are good and not too sharp. They give you plastic caps for them, so that's not an issue. At some point, I may look into a way to extend the base to avoid the wobble. To do this, one might remove the back caps and insert wood slats that have a screw hole. Then use the wheel hole to affix the slat to extend the base.In the end, I'll continue using this, but will probably keep looking as well.
Not a standup/sitdown but better than a lapdesk
September 30, 2016
I recently moved into an apartment from a house so had to downsize several things... and a lapdesk was just not doing it...so far this desk is comfortable... it has good amount of space on the top and it feels pretty sturdy. I had it together in about 15 minutes and using immediately after.I had to take the casters off cause it wouldn't fit under my couch with them on. I put on those felt stickies to keep from scratching the floor.and it holds in place food and slides good with those as well.It is a good looking desk and for the 3 days that I have had it it is getting the job done.My wife has also said it makes the TVing/webbing combo watching much easier.

Mouse pad attachment was sturdy. Once you found the right position I never ...
January 18, 2017
The product is what is advertised however changing positions for this product is an absolute nightmare. It's easier to just pick up and move the monitor it's self. I would not advise anyone to make Height adjustments while the monitor is on the desk, risk of a pinched finger, bumped head or broken monitor.Key board stand...same deal.Mouse pad attachment was sturdy.Once you found the right position I never moved it unless I reeeeaallly needed to because it's a hassle.

May 31, 2016
I was so excite to get this. I read that it was a bit flimsy but nevertheless - if it gave me the option of fairly easily lifting my monitor up so I could stand, then it would be fine. I opened it enthusiastically and was happy to see there was really nothing to put together - I just had to get the right adjustments. This is when I realized it was a complete bust. Although you can get it to the adjustment you want, to make the next change, you will have to completely take your monitor off (monitor must weigh less tahb 13 pounds) and use both hands to make awkward adjustments pushing 2 buttons at the same time, then pushing 2 other buttons to level it off. I tned to be optimistic about these things and I really gave it a good effort but if you're looking to use this to stand after sitting - then be prepared to take several awkward minutes for each adjustment. I suppose if its left in place the same time - it's OK but easier to just put your monitor off and on a box. I'm sending mine back today
Mousepad becomes useless very quickly.
October 28, 2015
For the price, the mousepad should remain usable for longer than a month. It bends down if you put any weight on it, like a hand. The screw that holds the mousepad to the leg strips out quickly. I chose this more expensive model for the mousepad feature, and would not recommend it to anyone else that is looking for that. Lacking welding experience or a small scaffold, I have come up with this solution, which I have to replace every week or so.
but certainly not a great job. If you just have a laptop
February 2, 2015
Just ok, they're very simple pieces and can do the job, but certainly not a great job. If you just have a laptop, obviously you only need the bigger one. This is just ok... adjusting the stands is really awkward and it took me a while to get them to the perfect height. I'm not an engineer, but I know that these are of a sub-par design. Also not great is the weight balance. I have a fairly large keyboard and the weight of it tips the stand forward causing it to fall frequently. If you have a very light, small keyboard, maybe it'd be better. Again though, the design could be improved to handle a disbursement of weight. In the end, I'm planning to return this.
No EZ from this Work EZ...
January 15, 2015
No EZ from this Work EZ... save the time and money on this one. This is a really poorly designed item. Positioning of standing desk requires simultaneous adjustments of legs on both sides by pressing on buttons located on each 'joint' of the leg. However, because the legs are made of a light-weight, cheap plastic - there is no momentum to cause the legs to 'fall open' when you release the hinges. So you are required to manually hinge open each and every section of the legs - one side at a time - which causes the display to be lop sided. Too much time and effort to get the contraption to align. In addition, opening and closing the legs requires you to work the buttons from the outside in, or inside out - depending if you are trying to open or close it. This is not something you will be able to move around or take with you despite of its portable design.ADDENDUM: Also, please note that the seller will NOT provide a return label so you will eat the cost of return shipping. Not cool!!
Not for daily use
March 31, 2014
It does not operate as advertised. It is very difficult to adjust in use so you can't simply go from a sitting desk to a standing desk.

The pictures looked flat. This is so not flat. Nothing stays on it.
March 12, 2017
The pictures look flat. It is so not flat. I love the rest. The ability to sit in a normal chair, with all my puppies, and pull the laptop up to me is awesome. Except my laptop doesn't stick to the desk because it is so super slanted. I had to go out and put duck tape and put stripes across it just to get the feet of the laptop something to grip onto to slow how fast it slides off. Nothing else will stay on the desk. Not the mouse. Not my phone. Basically unless you are holding it to the desk, it's going to fall. This is pretty much just a free standing something hard to lean against. I would have returned it, but I'm lazy and was desperate for a desk to use. As far and packaging, that was great. It showed up on time. The quality of this super slanted desk seems to be great. Everything is super sturdy so far, it rolls with no issue. It's even been ran into by a couple pups while they play and hasn't toppled, just made the laptop slide down. I was kinda mad that I had to find a side table just to set my phone and a drink on, because again, this desk is worthless when it comes to that.
Welds go bad!
July 9, 2016
Bought in May 2015. Just noticed today that the weld under the desktop portion is failing. Why? Because on a square piece, they only have two welds instead than four. I just re-read through the reviews and noticed I am not the only one with this issue. It appears the weld(s) typically fail after a year or so of use. It is unfortunate because other than that glaring issue, the stand works as intended. I put some Gorilla Glue around the welds and non-welded areas, but it appears to be too late. When you're putting the thing together it appears to be pretty solid. With four hex screws that attach the desktop to the stand itself. But alas, those poor welds will be its demise.I would not recommend for a long term solution. If you're only going to use it sparingly, you may get some more life out of it, but a year seems to be a tipping point for a lot of purchasers lately.
Excellent quality but flawed design
May 13, 2016
Very good quality construction and materials but it has a serious design flaw. Supposedly the smaller side table/platform is for an external mouse. But if so, it is at a very awkward, unusable height in relation to the main table. Furthermore it is fixed so there is no way to adjust it to a height that would actually make it usable for a mouse. It sits about 4" below the main table making it very awkward and uncomfortable to put your external mouse there. And since the main table isn't that big, there is no room on it for your mouse either.Apparently the maker expects you to use your laptop's built in mouse instead of an external one. Definitely NOT a good design for me and others who prefer to use an external trackball or other type of external mouse with their laptops. After a time using a mouse on that side table, you end up with a sore arm and elbow since you have to reach over, forward and down. That leaves your arm stretched out at an uncomfortable angle.
Very Unhappy
April 6, 2016
We had purchased one of these long ago and needed a second one, since we were happy with it.So my second one came today and I am very unhappy with this table. It is very shakey and it is very difficult to type on and there is a slant now, which after turning the table around, as some have suggested, hasn't corrected the problem.I would suggest you avoid this laptop table at all costs and just try something else instead.
No Lip On It ,,, Very Wobbly On Carpeting ....
December 28, 2015
It was easy to put together. One bit of advice. When you screw the T on to the top, be careful not to screw it too tight else it forms indents in the top of the table. Depending on how you place the top on to the angled post determines the angle of the table top. One way the desktop sits flat and the other way is more like a drafting table. A Laptop would never sit on it in the drafting table angle as there is no lip to keep it from falling off. The flat position works just fine. You can raise it using the knob or lower it depending on your chair. I found the table to be very wobbly while sitting on carpet. The base of it needs to have more weight to it. I certainly wouldn't leave the laptop unattended with small children around as it could easily be knocked over. It's surely not the best or truly what I expected it to be. But for the price it will do for now. It looks nice but it's not quite as stable as I would have liked. I guess the moral to the story is don't put a 1500 dollar laptop on a 30 dollar table. Use common sense and caution.
Missing Parts Made it Wobbly/Cheapish
October 21, 2015
Not hard to assemble, really, but this piece arrived with missing parts and inadequate plastic 'washers' for the screws that attach the central support to the base. Also, after I attached the table top with screws to the center support, I could see that the tips of the screws had nearly broken through the wood top of the desk, leaving two strange 'goosebump' shapes that my laptop has to balance over... All in all, I would love this stand if it were not wobbly on a richter scale of 9.9. I get dizzy typing. A long phone call with support resulted in Amazon's not having the capability to send the tiny missing parts. Instead, they are shipping a new desk and have asked me to remove the missing parts from the new shipment and then return it. They provided a label. After extensive back and forth with supervisors, Amazon finally agreed to pay the $10 pick up fee that UPS will charge by giving me a small credit. This feels like an awkward and laborious solution, although I can see that an item sold at this price point might mean struggling a little when things don't go right. In the end, I may just purchase better fitting metal washers to stabilize the stand.

March 10, 2016
This item is described as easily adjustable from sitting to standing positions and everything in between. It's just plain not. The hinges do not readily push in to adjust. Adjusting both sides simultaneously using two hands/arms is impossible because both hands are needed to just get one side to move. It doesn't sit flat while each side is being adjusted. Monitor or keyboard needs to be removed and re placed for each adjustment, etc. Could be OK to permanently set monitor and keyboard in new position, but that's about it.
Too unstable for standing desk / monitor stand in professional setting.
March 7, 2016
I received the product Sunday. I tried it and sent it back Monday. The stand did not meet my needs to serve as a standing desk in my office on a cubicle surface.I found the stand is unstable when holding only a 7.48 pound HP ProDisplay 21.5" flat screen monitor.I would consider this stand for use in bed as shown in the product information...but that is likely it.I will be checking out other options (i.e. VariDesk) in the $300 - $400 price range with heft...meaning steel.I have learned, yet again, you get what you pay for.At least I am only out the shipping charges.
Really wanted this to work....
December 3, 2015
I wanted so much for this to work so I could avoid buying one of the expensive options. I could write a long review, but I will cut to the chase:1. It is not set up at all for switching back and forth between sitting and standing. Once you set this baby up, you are leaving it because you cannot take back down without removing the monitor and it is not a quick process.2. The keyboard stand wobbles and lifts up and down when you type. This is the worst things about the product.3. The mouse tray bends down to the side when you use it.UPDATE: the mouse holder has slowly bent over to the side and is now near worthless. What a piece of junk!
Flimsy, not worth it...
September 9, 2015
Don't bother... The mouse pad holder is so flimsy, it's already bent after 10 uses, rendering it useless to me.The entire keyboard unit is flimsy and unstable. I'm not a large, strong person, I'm 120lbs! So disappointed by this waste of my money. (update to original post where I called it 'not super sturdy'. I regret not sending it back.)*measure the depth of your desk before you buy! My monitor, when using this for my desktop, is too close to me. I can only use one piece of the two. I wish I would have better prepared and purchased just one of the stands.I also find it to be...not flimsy, but not super sturdy. And if anyone has suggestions how to make the adjustments easier, please respond.I'm debating spending the $24 to return it.
Well made product, very inconvenient to use
June 5, 2014
I got it for a small computer table that my assistant use and wants to work standing up sometimes. However, after all done, it is very hard to take it out in order to sit down again. You need another person to help you shlep this thing around and 3 hands to adjust it properly. I plan to return it - useless unless you plant it in a fixed position to stay and not adjust it anymore.
Fragile, unstable, mouse pad bends after a few weeks of use
April 15, 2014
This is an update to my original review. After a couple of months of use, the keyboard stand is wearing out, jiggling around, bending and the mouse pad attachment requires nearly constant tightening and adjustment. It's just too flimsy to use day after day. If you put any weight at all on the mouse pad (like a hand), it bends and moves. I'm trying to figure out how to rig up a support for the mouse pad or switch to something else that can handle the weight of my normal sized human hand.In retrospect, this product was probably not worth the $145. With the additional support I had to add and the flimsy keyboard/mouse pad set up it wasn't worth it. I would have been better off going with a more expensive, stable model.Unless you are going to use this just occasionally or are using a <13 pound laptop without a mouse, go after a more expensive model. If you intend on using this as your work desk with a keyboard with daily use, skip it.-----------------------------------I purchased this as a less expensive way to convert to a standing desk at work. I wanted to give standing at work a try but didn't want to invest $400 to $700 on other set ups I saw.I did take for granted that my monitor would weigh 13 pounds or less, I incorrectly assumed this would be a standard weight. We have what I assume to be pretty normal sized monitors with stands, not huge by any means. After I set it up I quickly realized my monitor and stand weighed more than the stand could handle. My local IT guy was easily able to rig up an additional support beam that let it safely handle my company's standard monitor with stand.Other than the weight limit, it was easy to set up and the handy numbers on the joints ( I think one is degrees and the other radians) made it easy to adjust.I think other reviews mentioned this, but the mouse pad piece does seem small and oddly thin, it works but it feels a little fragile. This is a good value compared to other models, the only negatives were the low weight limit and the mouse pad holder. The manufacturer may want to consider putting out a model with higher weight limits and perhaps a larger/more solid mouse pad addition.

Height Adjustment Faulty
September 7, 2017
The knob that is tightened to hold the desk at various heights does not work. No matter how tight the knob is turned, the weight of the desk automatically lowers to the base. There are no holes in the stem for the knob to engage and hold it in place. I contacted the company thinking my stem was no correct as it was missing height adjustment holes, but they said no, just tighten the knob. My husband is very strong and cannot make the desk stay up. After spending the time to put it together, I wasn't going to repackage it for a return. Maybe the company plans it that way. We will have to drill holes in order to use it, but we shouldn't have to. Bad design. Choose another brand, but make sure it is fully operational.

March 27, 2017
building was not easy , you have to push really really hard to make the wheel fit, i was scared to damage it but it finally went well, thought i was done then the thing use to adjust the hight would not come through so the upper part falls all the way to the floor. I am going to return, so tired after assembling this.
Limited for real use
November 7, 2016
After a month top completely ripped away from particle board top. Using duct tape which is not solving the problem. I use with computer and do a lot of research and the weight of me leaning on table to read computer was too much for it. Very fragile and was not a good purchase for me. Would not recommend if you are a heavy reader on your computer and tend to lean on it.Update: finally broke to point of no repair. The wood in the top is little more than glued together sand, so soft.
Beware before you buy!
November 1, 2015
I wouldn't even give it one star!I purchased this desk ( Standard Version ) on November 22, 2013, so I could use it occassionally to work on my laptop- its not even 2 years old. When I first purchased it, I thought ot was pretty great. Easy assembly. When you put the desk together, you slide a square tube "stem" attached to the desk part, into a similar metal piece attached to the bottom piece with wheels and it locks into place. I noted that it was a tight fit, the first time I put it togther, but wa told it was because it was new, etc. I noticed this the 2 or maybe 3 times I decided to change the height......so not many times in that time. Well tonight, I decided to move the desk to another room, so I rolled it out, loosened the screw that adjusts the height ( almost all the way off) and gently "GENTLY!" pulled the desk part up....the desk part moved up, but the metal stem attached to the desk snapped right off! THis "stem" is attached to the desk by a METAL crossbar and screws, and it CAME RIGHT APART! Luckily i was holding the desk part by the sides or I would have cut my hand open on the exposed metal where it broke!I'm reallly disgusted, because lately , everything I purchase from AMAZON, lasts about a year and dies! I expect that a desk like this, which everyone seems to love based on the reviews AMAZON shows us, is not worth the money paid for it! ( And by the way, make sure if you buy this? You read the revews on the side in smaller text! As one reviewer said, "another $1.50 in parts and this would have been an awesome product! )Beware before you buy!"
*** Missing parts, scratched table top out of the box and customer service that doesn't care about quality or the customer!
February 10, 2015
*** Missing parts, scratched table top out of the box and customer service that doesn't care about quality or the customer! Look for another company/product. The product itself seems to be fine for the cost, but not if you receive a defective product. Who wants to take it all apart and send it back to Amazon at this point???Table top was scratched and customer service was horrible when I reported it! Also, missing bolt to complete assembly. Was told to take a photo and e-mail support with missing parts. Very uncaring about quality and the customer service experience! The table seems to fine for the price, but missing parts and scratches on the top are not good! I spoke directly to the manufacturer.
Poor quality--broken after less than 1 month
May 16, 2014
The screw mechanism that holds the table top in place is a poor system and broke in less than 1 month. I am requesting a refund, and hope the company will honor its products. Holly
