Five Star Reviews: | 32% Exactly what I was looking for. February 24, 2016 Easy to set up. This conversion kit worked well with my monitor and keyboard, and it's light enough that I can take it off my desk if I want to sit while I write. My only issue was with Amazon's shipping. The kit comes in two boxes for a monitor stand and a keyboard stand. Amazon sent me the monitor stand only. I called Uncaged Ergonomics and they sent me the rest of the order direct from their warehouse. So, if you're interested in this conversion kit, I would suggest you order it direct from Uncaged. Works perfect for my needs. February 16, 2016 Saving my back using this. I set the monitor up once and left it. I placed the keyboard stand, off in a corner and grab it as I need it. With a wireless keyboard and mouse it's super easy to transition and I just tilt the monitor for standing or sitting position. Great product! September 24, 2015 I work on the computer all day and need to stand sometimes. This works great. It is so easy to change from sitting and standing. It takes a little bit of time to set the adjustments for the correct height but once it is set, it works so well. I just leave both on my desk at all times. When I am standing, the monitor goes on the monitor stand and the keyboard on the keyboard stand. When I want to sit down, I just move the monitor to the keyboard stand and place my keyboard on the tray under my desk. My desk is 2 feet deep. The smaller stand does slide under the larger stand so I have enough room for both and also have some storage space under the stands. I type all day as a transcriptionist and the stand is very sturdy with no movement at all, once I figured out to spread the legs out so they are a little wider at the base. Great, In-expensive Stand Up Desk! September 14, 2015 I love this! I've had several back surgeries and by allowing me to have this on my desk, without replacing my desk, is great! The only problem I have with it, is the place for the mouse; my mouse tends to slide off. It is true that it not super sturdy. August 4, 2014 It is true that it not super sturdy...but it works perfectly for my needs. I use it with my macbook pro, mac keyboard, mac trackpad and I use my magic mouse on the mouse pad. perfect solution for me. I am 5'10' and had to fiddle around to get the best configuration to make the screen as close to eye level as possible...it didn't quite make it but it is very close. I do not think very tall people could use this though at eye level... Does exactly what I needed May 12, 2014 I wanted a way to set up a standing option for my laptop that I can use as an alternative to buying a standing desk. I have a regular desk and set this up next to my 'sitting' monitor so I can stand for a while and then sit for a while. I read other comments complaining that you can't easily take this up and down, which is true. You need to figure out how to adjust it to your ideal standing configuration and not expect to quickly move it to alternative configurations. I wasn't expecting it to expand and collapse like a hydraulic desk would so this worked just as I expected and still gave me a very flexible configuration for my standing alternative. Alternatives that can adjust at a touch would cost a lot more, this works just fine when used the way I'm using it. And I didn't want to buy a whole new desk, just add something to the top of my existing desk.I also see complaints about the mouse pad, which I'm not using at all. It now comes with a better mousepad than the original one that other commentors are complaining about. My favorite way to use it is to put the laptop on the top stand and use the bottom stand for my mouse (just put the mouse on the bottom stand, where the keyboard could go). It doesn't seem flimsy to me, nor am I seeing any wobbling. I could also put a monitor on the top unit and a keyboard on the bottom, but haven't done so because it's working fine for me as-is.Update:After using this a bit more I have some additional information to provide. I kept reading that it was wobbly and wasn't having that problem. When I decided to change the way I had it set up I realized that it is possible to get it into some wobbly configurations, since each leg is endlessly adjustable. The key is to keep the bottom two legs pretty close together for stability then use the top leg for height. Or reverse the bottom leg so it points backward. Anyway it you have to play around with the configuration to be sure you end up with a stable arrangement, which you can test by trying to wiggle it around before actually putting a computer on it. That means even more than before that this is a 'set it and forget it' device, not something you will constantly keep changing. That is the way I intended to use it, so that's fine for my purposes, but you need to be aware of that. | 53% foot operated kitchen waste can liked to walk July 22, 2017 I've used these for years to cut down on fatigue while working standing up, but I bought this one for another reason. Our tall, foot operated kitchen waste can liked to walk. By putting one of these under it, it stays put. It gave my knees and feet relief from the hard floor at work June 22, 2017 If you stand on your feet all day at work, on a hard surface and go home with sore feet, back, knees or just beat. This mat will make it easier on your body. I work in the deli dept for a big chain food store, they threw out the old fatigue mats 4 months ago and we are still waiting for new ones. So i bought my own. it gave my knees and feet relief from the hard floor at work, everybody loves it! My co-workers may soon be buying their own until our cheap corp bosses get around to buy new ones.I reccomend this mat to anyone on their feet a long time at work! They ship fast too! It is both comfortable and durable June 13, 2017 I bought this mat for use with a standing desk and it worked perfectly. It is both comfortable and durable. ESSENTIAL for use with any Sit-to-Stand Desk April 15, 2017 Works fantastic with any Sit-to-Stand desk. I use it at the office everyday and it saves my legs everyday. 100% recommend. Very Good. May 6, 2015 This mat is great. Its just the right amount of cushioning to do the job. I stand all day cutting hair and It helps. Plus when I wear a more pointy heel, Im not off balance. | 74% There are no reviews yet | 75% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 20% Excellent standing desk alternative July 17, 2015 This is a wonderful alternative for those who want a standing work-space but can't shell out $$$$ for a fancy desk. The product comes in two pieces: my 13" Macbook sits on the larger piece, and my favorite Anker wireless keyboard and Logitech M570 Wireless Trackball mouse on the smaller piece. 4 stars because the adjustment process is a little finicky, not the smoothest or most intuitive, but once you get the hang of it, it does the job - and for the price, it's worth it. I recently transported the set from home to my office - it's light weight and easy to carry. Will probably buy a second set for the home office as well. Works well for what I need May 6, 2014 I bought this because I'm just starting my career and I'm trying to prevent health issues from sitting at a computer all day. I was unsure about this product for a couple of reasons. First, I was worried because my monitor is just under the weight limit for the stand. Second, I'm pretty tall so I wasn't sure if the stand was going to be tall enough. For the most part, the product works as designed. I can go from standing to sitting (and vice versa) in about a minute... but not by adjusting the stands. As far as I can tell, there's no way to adjust the stand while the monitor is on it. So I simply move the keyboard and mouse stand to the side and then move my monitor onto my desk. This works well for me because my desk is actually comprised of 3 tables so I'm able to leave the monitor and keyboard stand in the full upright position and just move them back onto the table behind my main desk. The monitor stand does seem a little flimsy but it hasn't fallen. I wouldn't recommend using this if your monitor exceeds the weight they recommend. As for the height, it's almost but not quite where it should be (top of monitor at eye level). I'm 5'10" and I have the stand all the way up the highest it can go. I wouldn't mind it being taller, but my desk also seems short to me, so if I had a taller desk it would be even better. I would love to be able to afford an actual stand sit desk (like you see in doctor's offices) but I also didn't have $1000 to drop on one of those. This product was considerably cheaper but still worth the price in my opinion. easily adjustable but flimsy keyboard stand April 21, 2014 I found the Workez Standing Desk to be easy to put together and easily adjustable. While the monitor piece is sturdy, I found the keyboard piece to be a bit flimsy. It moves around even when I type gently. It is an improvement to my DIY stand-up desk. Sitting all day and standing all day are both bad for ones back, so the option of switching from sitting to standing is perfect. possible improvements to product April 4, 2014 product keyboard sits on needs a skid resistant product adhered to the legs to prevent slippage on desk.mouse stand needs a brace from bottom center to the leg of the keyboard stand, for better support of the mouse. Great Customer Service January 9, 2014 I was having a challenge with the monitor table and reached customer service by email. John returned my call and has been above and beyond in customer service. He's sending me another monitor table with ratcheted leg adjustments which are slightly different than the one I have -- It was awesome to stand and not be confined to sitting. He even suggested that I invest in a high chair or stool so I could relax when needed but not have to be fully seated. I am so grateful. Thank you John! It does what it says!!!! November 20, 2013 I had back surgery early in the year and then a freak accident falling down the stairs a month later. I went in to check with my doctor earlier this month and apparently my desk job was adding insult to injury so she suggested I take more breaks to walk around and be more on my feet. Well I did as told and ended up getting in trouble for it at work.Long story short after not wanting to compromise my back with my job this was the best solution for me.I now stand all day at work and my back has had a ton of relief. After shopping around this is the most cost effective desk riser that doesnt put a hole in your pocket and it is probably one of the most wise investments I have made. Its a clean cut design that I got in black so it doesnt look silly. The only thing I just wish I could alter is place the mouse part of it higher because thats just my personal preference since if its attached to the leg and i alter the keyboard then the mouse is place in a super awkward position. The keyboard part allows for some room to write n a notepad. Overall I would definitely recommend anyone get this for if you want to stand at work. | 21% Good mat for the price August 14, 2017 Good simple mat for the money. Quality is very high, no problems. It's a lightweight mat, much simpler item than some of the others I've looked at, and of course also much less expensive. Not overly thick, but decent. August 28, 2016 I use this mat when I'm standing at my stand/sit desk. My office is carpeted, so I took a chance that this inexpensive mat would provide enough cushion. My feet definitely feel better when I use the mat.It does a fairly decent job of cushioning my feet. I'm not sure if it would provide enough cushion if I were using it on concrete. It's plenty large so sometimes I fold it to double the thickness. It's not so thick that I sink into it, and for me that's a good thing. When I'm not standing at my desk, I roll up the mat and set it aside. When I stand in it, depressions from my shoes appear fairly quickly. However, they disappear when I take a break from standing on it. Overall, the mat seems to be good quality and durable. For the price point, I think it is a decent mat. If you want maximum cushion, this probably is not the mat for you. For me, it works as needed. Goes great with my standing desk and priced extremely cheap August 27, 2015 Goes great with my standing desk and priced extremely cheap. You can any color you want (as long as it's black!) Four Stars June 17, 2015 Works as intended @ my standing desk, although I probably should have sprung for the thicker mat. not too bad December 8, 2013 These work well, although a little expensive for the size you get .... my workers do love them compared to concrete floors. I found some cheaper at costco and lowes so from now on going with those | 16% There are no reviews yet | 15% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 19% Definitely within budget! July 7, 2017 Definitely within budget, has helped with my shoulder pain I was having with the regular sit-down- desk. Although, at first it wasn't as easily adjustable as the directions made it seem I got the hang of it and I'm recommending this product to some coworkers. Sturdy but Not Smooth October 3, 2016 I don't think I read the description closely enough - each angle/crook in the legs can be adjusted, but it needs to be adjusted one at a time. On each joint there is a compass where you can read the degrees and make sure each side aligns, but I'm stuck with this since my job paid for it.Pros:-sturdy-aluminum which disperses heat-holes for a laptop fanCons:-stiff-not easily adjustable. One time conversion September 6, 2016 This product is good for a ONE-TIME conversion from sitting to standing. The adjustable arms are difficult to manipulate if you wanted to switch back and forth more than once a day. (or week for that matter) In order to do so, you need to adjust 12 different settings. Once it was set up, it is fine. For the price, this is a reasonable solution for a standing desk with a laptop June 18, 2016 The keyboard stand is wobbly and the clip-on mouse pad addition functions, but could be designed better for stability. I do like the built in fan and extra USB ports, and the height is comfortable with me being 6'1" and using with a laptop. It takes some work getting the legs extended just right, so don't plan for this to be a quick-change going from sitting to standing position. For the price, this is a reasonable solution for a standing desk. Does the job if you want a fixed height standing desk March 18, 2015 The word "Adjustable Sit Stand" in the product title may create the impression that you can adjust if from sitting to standing "on the fly", this is absolutely not the case. You have to take everything off of the component and turn it alternately on each side to be able to adjust it.That said, for the price it does the job. I liked the one I bought for work enough that I bought one for home as well.Getting it to the height you want can take a degree in trigonometry, but they have instructions for some standard setting that worked for me. It does the job.... January 5, 2014 This stand certainly does what it is suppose to do. I like it a lot. However, it has a few flaws: 1) It can be wobbly at times; 2) From time to time, your mouse will fall off the attached mouse pad (especially if you are a fast typer); and 3) You will be a bunch of comments from your co-workers about your "new set-up." I like the fact that I know don't always find myself sitting. I think it is healthier standing up. I use a second monitor, a wireless mouse, and a wireless keyboard so that I can also sit down and type, too. | 14% Breaks down with heavy use October 27, 2016 I have three of these. 2 in the kitchen with decorative mats concealing them and one in the office. With heavy use, the one in the office started to break down and little black chunks appeared all over the floor. The ones in the kitchen are doing fine and they do help cushion the hardness of the floor very well. My recommendation is that you throw these under a rug to extend the life and usefulness. I expected better. My footprints stay visible for a surprising amount ... October 18, 2016 From the reviews, I expected better. My footprints stay visible for a surprising amount of time before filling back in and if you have to stand in same spot for long period....you almost sink to the ground... I ended up cutting mine into squares and using it to pad noise from equipment hitting the counter... worked GREAT for that. was very easy to cut with scissors (cheap ones at that). Nice for short periods of standing (but not for all-day) October 17, 2016 This mat works well for standing for a hour or two. It feels like memory foam in a vinyl covering. It is comfortable and cushioned enough for a hour or two. Unfortunately, I bought this to use at my standing desk where I am for 8+ hours a day. After a couple hours, I find that the cushion is not enough to keep it anti-fatigue for me. Messy! April 12, 2016 This mat is so-so. If you're going to wear shoes, it's probably not the one you want. They only vacuum my office once per week, and there are little black pieces all over the floor, because the tread on my shoes pulls them off of the mat. I figured this would go away, once it was broken in, but I've had it for 5 months, and it's still just as bad. It's definitely more comfortable than the concrete floor, and I've gotten to where I stand most of the day, because it helps with back pain, but I'll definitely be replacing this mat with something that won't make it look like Pig Pen uses my desk. Not enough for standing at office February 12, 2016 I bought this in hopes that it would be sufficient cushioning for working at a standing desk part of the day. Ok, it was cheap and had decent reviews. It is just not enough for me. I have plantar fasciitis and flat feet. Maybe if you have no foot problems it might be enough for you. I have ordered another mat, more expensive with more cushioning. This one is going to my husband's man garage. Good for Short Amounts of Time August 6, 2015 I am a music producer, video editor, programmer, and student and I work at a standing desk. I also use a stool intermittently. I like this product, especially for the price, though I honestly think it could be more supportive. I have been using it for more than a year and I find myself sitting more frequently as my feet and lower back hurt from long periods of standing (~2 hours before I sit to let my feet recover). I like the size though, as it does allow you to move around on the mat (which I find important to alleviate pressure in my feet). I'm considering buying a Cumulus based on stellar reviews and that it looks thicker and more supportive, but this is good for the price if you just need it in a kitchen (where I'm considering moving mine) or somewhere where you won't be standing in the same place for an extended amount of time.Pros:-Great price-Reasonable comfort-Great sizeCons:-Lacks support for long standing days-Could be thicker-Ridges make it difficult to clean | 6% There are no reviews yet | 5% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 11% Mouse pad attachment was sturdy. Once you found the right position I never ... January 18, 2017 The product is what is advertised however changing positions for this product is an absolute nightmare. It's easier to just pick up and move the monitor it's self. I would not advise anyone to make Height adjustments while the monitor is on the desk, risk of a pinched finger, bumped head or broken monitor.Key board stand...same deal.Mouse pad attachment was sturdy.Once you found the right position I never moved it unless I reeeeaallly needed to because it's a hassle. I read that it was a bit flimsy but nevertheless - if it gave me the option of fairly easily lifting my monitor up so I could st May 31, 2016 I was so excite to get this. I read that it was a bit flimsy but nevertheless - if it gave me the option of fairly easily lifting my monitor up so I could stand, then it would be fine. I opened it enthusiastically and was happy to see there was really nothing to put together - I just had to get the right adjustments. This is when I realized it was a complete bust. Although you can get it to the adjustment you want, to make the next change, you will have to completely take your monitor off (monitor must weigh less tahb 13 pounds) and use both hands to make awkward adjustments pushing 2 buttons at the same time, then pushing 2 other buttons to level it off. I tned to be optimistic about these things and I really gave it a good effort but if you're looking to use this to stand after sitting - then be prepared to take several awkward minutes for each adjustment. I suppose if its left in place the same time - it's OK but easier to just put your monitor off and on a box. I'm sending mine back today Mousepad becomes useless very quickly. October 28, 2015 For the price, the mousepad should remain usable for longer than a month. It bends down if you put any weight on it, like a hand. The screw that holds the mousepad to the leg strips out quickly. I chose this more expensive model for the mousepad feature, and would not recommend it to anyone else that is looking for that. Lacking welding experience or a small scaffold, I have come up with this solution, which I have to replace every week or so. but certainly not a great job. If you just have a laptop February 2, 2015 Just ok, they're very simple pieces and can do the job, but certainly not a great job. If you just have a laptop, obviously you only need the bigger one. This is just ok... adjusting the stands is really awkward and it took me a while to get them to the perfect height. I'm not an engineer, but I know that these are of a sub-par design. Also not great is the weight balance. I have a fairly large keyboard and the weight of it tips the stand forward causing it to fall frequently. If you have a very light, small keyboard, maybe it'd be better. Again though, the design could be improved to handle a disbursement of weight. In the end, I'm planning to return this. No EZ from this Work EZ... January 15, 2015 No EZ from this Work EZ... save the time and money on this one. This is a really poorly designed item. Positioning of standing desk requires simultaneous adjustments of legs on both sides by pressing on buttons located on each 'joint' of the leg. However, because the legs are made of a light-weight, cheap plastic - there is no momentum to cause the legs to 'fall open' when you release the hinges. So you are required to manually hinge open each and every section of the legs - one side at a time - which causes the display to be lop sided. Too much time and effort to get the contraption to align. In addition, opening and closing the legs requires you to work the buttons from the outside in, or inside out - depending if you are trying to open or close it. This is not something you will be able to move around or take with you despite of its portable design.ADDENDUM: Also, please note that the seller will NOT provide a return label so you will eat the cost of return shipping. Not cool!! Not for daily use March 31, 2014 It does not operate as advertised. It is very difficult to adjust in use so you can't simply go from a sitting desk to a standing desk. | 7% Granted, I am 270 pounds, but this anti ... February 9, 2016 Granted, I am 270 pounds, but this anti fatigue mat does not have much padding at all. Anyone that comes in my office to check my stand up desk out always make a comment about how this mat really is not effective for long term standing, but maybe it was not meant for that. I only bought this because Amazon had the tag at the bottom that stated that customers that bought the stand up desk, also bought this mat. Really thin. I purchased this to use with a ... December 15, 2015 Really thin. I purchased this to use with a standing desk, and it doesn't provide enough support/comfort, as I can feel the floor through this mat. Maybe it's a sign that I need to lose a few lbs, but I tried one at another retailer that's thicker, and it was thicker and has more support than this one. Didn't work out for me. Plus, the design looks a bit too industrial for my office space. It wasn't quite as squishy as I wanted it to ... October 10, 2015 It wasn't quite as squishy as I wanted it to be. I found a much plusher mat at Costco but it also was 3 times as expensive as this one. Worth it to me in order to make standing more comfy. It does not look like a fancy mat October 3, 2015 I purchased this last week, and have used it for a week. When I first started standing, I noticed it did not support my feet properly. I don't spend on more than 30 minutes, so it is not that harmful. It does not look like a fancy mat, just a cheap piece of vinyl. When I first got it, I found a small part of white stains, so I scratched it a little bit. The stain didn't go away, but it left a scratch on the surface of the mat. It is cheaper than other mats, but it's easy to get cracked. If there's someone, looking for a mat that will support a little amount of comfort, this product is reasonable. However, I am looking for other mats that guarantee the surface of good quality. Do NOT provide adequate cushioning March 13, 2014 I'm returning these today. They are thin, smelly, and look like tires. I have a ceramic floor and a bad back, so I need the cushioning that these mats promised. They do not provide the cushioning I expected. I also did not like the lines going through the entire mat that look like tire treads. You can even feel them through thick slippers! And the rubber or vinyl smell did not go away after 48 hours. So back they go to amazon. So I tried another brand, and now I'm ordering 2 more of them: "NoTrax 511 Vinyl Marble Tuff Anti-Fatigue Floor Mat, 2' Width x 3' Length x 1/2" Thickness, Blue" Mat Is Good For Light Use, Not Heavy Use June 7, 2012 I purchased this mat in September of 2011, and have been using it until June 2012. I am an attorney who spends an average of 10 hours a day standing. The mat was purchased to combat foot, knee, and lower back pain from when I originally stopped sitting. When I first started standing at work, I noticed significant foot and lower back pain. I purchased this mat, and it originally alleviated the foot and lower back pain. However, I spend on average 10 hours per day standing at the office, and this mat does not provide the proper support for that amount of use. It is a cheap piece of vinyl that is obviously machine-cut from a much larger piece. These mats are being passed off as anti-fatigue mats, but they were most likely designed for another purpose. The vinyl is not attractive and should not be used where aesthetics are a concern.Pros:-The price is low relative to other anti-fatigue mats on Amazon.-Good for light use, perhaps standing one hour or less at a time.-The item is durable, and has not broken down after standing on it for nearly a year.Cons:-The mat is only 1/4" thick.-Does not provide proper support for someone standing eight hours or more per day.-Does not adequately prevent foot, knee, and back pain.-Made from cheap vinyl and obviously machine-cut off a much longer piece. Looks cheap as well.Bottom Line:If you are looking for a piece of material that will offer a low amount of support for a low price, this item is for you. However, don't expect this item to provide relief to your body if you are standing on it for long periods at a time. | 2% There are no reviews yet | 3% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 18% This item is described as easily adjustable from sitting to standing positions and everything in ... March 10, 2016 This item is described as easily adjustable from sitting to standing positions and everything in between. It's just plain not. The hinges do not readily push in to adjust. Adjusting both sides simultaneously using two hands/arms is impossible because both hands are needed to just get one side to move. It doesn't sit flat while each side is being adjusted. Monitor or keyboard needs to be removed and re placed for each adjustment, etc. Could be OK to permanently set monitor and keyboard in new position, but that's about it. Too unstable for standing desk / monitor stand in professional setting. March 7, 2016 I received the product Sunday. I tried it and sent it back Monday. The stand did not meet my needs to serve as a standing desk in my office on a cubicle surface.I found the stand is unstable when holding only a 7.48 pound HP ProDisplay 21.5" flat screen monitor.I would consider this stand for use in bed as shown in the product information...but that is likely it.I will be checking out other options (i.e. VariDesk) in the $300 - $400 price range with heft...meaning steel.I have learned, yet again, you get what you pay for.At least I am only out the shipping charges. Really wanted this to work.... December 3, 2015 I wanted so much for this to work so I could avoid buying one of the expensive options. I could write a long review, but I will cut to the chase:1. It is not set up at all for switching back and forth between sitting and standing. Once you set this baby up, you are leaving it because you cannot take back down without removing the monitor and it is not a quick process.2. The keyboard stand wobbles and lifts up and down when you type. This is the worst things about the product.3. The mouse tray bends down to the side when you use it.UPDATE: the mouse holder has slowly bent over to the side and is now near worthless. What a piece of junk! Flimsy, not worth it... September 9, 2015 Don't bother... The mouse pad holder is so flimsy, it's already bent after 10 uses, rendering it useless to me.The entire keyboard unit is flimsy and unstable. I'm not a large, strong person, I'm 120lbs! So disappointed by this waste of my money. (update to original post where I called it 'not super sturdy'. I regret not sending it back.)*measure the depth of your desk before you buy! My monitor, when using this for my desktop, is too close to me. I can only use one piece of the two. I wish I would have better prepared and purchased just one of the stands.I also find it to be...not flimsy, but not super sturdy. And if anyone has suggestions how to make the adjustments easier, please respond.I'm debating spending the $24 to return it. Well made product, very inconvenient to use June 5, 2014 I got it for a small computer table that my assistant use and wants to work standing up sometimes. However, after all done, it is very hard to take it out in order to sit down again. You need another person to help you shlep this thing around and 3 hands to adjust it properly. I plan to return it - useless unless you plant it in a fixed position to stay and not adjust it anymore. Fragile, unstable, mouse pad bends after a few weeks of use April 15, 2014 This is an update to my original review. After a couple of months of use, the keyboard stand is wearing out, jiggling around, bending and the mouse pad attachment requires nearly constant tightening and adjustment. It's just too flimsy to use day after day. If you put any weight at all on the mouse pad (like a hand), it bends and moves. I'm trying to figure out how to rig up a support for the mouse pad or switch to something else that can handle the weight of my normal sized human hand.In retrospect, this product was probably not worth the $145. With the additional support I had to add and the flimsy keyboard/mouse pad set up it wasn't worth it. I would have been better off going with a more expensive, stable model.Unless you are going to use this just occasionally or are using a <13 pound laptop without a mouse, go after a more expensive model. If you intend on using this as your work desk with a keyboard with daily use, skip it.-----------------------------------I purchased this as a less expensive way to convert to a standing desk at work. I wanted to give standing at work a try but didn't want to invest $400 to $700 on other set ups I saw.I did take for granted that my monitor would weigh 13 pounds or less, I incorrectly assumed this would be a standard weight. We have what I assume to be pretty normal sized monitors with stands, not huge by any means. After I set it up I quickly realized my monitor and stand weighed more than the stand could handle. My local IT guy was easily able to rig up an additional support beam that let it safely handle my company's standard monitor with stand.Other than the weight limit, it was easy to set up and the handy numbers on the joints ( I think one is degrees and the other radians) made it easy to adjust.I think other reviews mentioned this, but the mouse pad piece does seem small and oddly thin, it works but it feels a little fragile. This is a good value compared to other models, the only negatives were the low weight limit and the mouse pad holder. The manufacturer may want to consider putting out a model with higher weight limits and perhaps a larger/more solid mouse pad addition. | 5% Horrible Quality! Do Not Buy! January 9, 2017 Pieces of the mat began falling off within the first 10 minutes of use. The mat was also not as supportive as most mats I've owned within the same price range. I could not attempt a return since I had the item for a few months prior to actually unpacking and using it. The poor quality material pills up and many many little pieces fall off it nonstop. Makes a huge mess on the floor and it only takes stepping on it for a second or 2 for it to make the same mess again. I had much better luck with mats from Costco and Bed Bath & Beyond. No, Just No November 20, 2016 Let me say that I never send anything back, but I took the time and trouble for this. I got it and thought it didn't have much cushioning, so I went to Bed Bath and stood on 4 different kinds. This was by far the most lacking. You get what you pay for in this case. Not an anti-fatigue mat! February 29, 2016 I bought this mat because it is described as anti-fatigue but unfortunately it is not. It's very thin and that's why it is cheaper. I've one anti-fatigue foot-mat in office given by ergonomic experts and this one is not even close to that. There is no way this can prevent back pain or knee pain. It is good to use as pretty much regular mat and nothing more. It is definitely not for standing 8 hours and will not prevent any pains. I bought this believing it to be anti-fatigue. I believed the low price is because of Amazon itself selling it but not true. Probably, Amazon should remove the anti-fatigue word from here.If you are looking for quick use like 30mins or as a general purpose door mat this is good. Definitely, not an anti-fatigue mat! I like to stand at the sink bare foot October 11, 2015 I like to stand at the sink bare foot, the ridges on the top of this mat are extremely uncomfortable. Even with my walking shoes on, this mat isn't cushy enough, seems kind of hard, compared to others that I've stood on. So sorry I wasted my time on this. cheap and uncomfortable March 13, 2014 I just converted to standing desk, so I was looking fro a mat to stand at while I work on my computer all day. I was expecting more from this floormat. I'm not sure what it would be appropriate for, since I stood on it for about 2 minutes and it already had deep dents in it. It's also not even remotely comfortable to stand on, even with shoes. No good... November 12, 2012 I purchased two of these for my two, new counter height desks. The floor in my office is concrete with a very thin layer of carpeting so an anti-fatigue mat sounded like a great idea. This mat is VERY thin, it provides maybe 60 seconds of 'ant-fatigue'. I weigh 190 lbs and after standing on this for 60 seconds it essential levels out and goes flat... defeating the purpose of the entire thing.I'm not sure if I got the same product that everyone else is raving about, but I can't understand how it could be. I've ended up folding it into quarters just to get some cushioning, but I will be reinvesting in a much higher quality mat.Save yourself some money and time, buy higher quality. | 2% There are no reviews yet | 2% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
