Great Sink. This fit perfectly into our smaller downstairs bathroom. We have already received many compliments on this sink. It looks great - has a nice clean and sleek look to it, and it also very easy to clean which is a huge bonus with kids.

wife and i both love it, looks amazing easy to install easy to clean and its a lot bigger than our last sink even tho it fit into the same hole and its the same depth so not sure how that works but it does lol
Just right for my camper van
January 28, 2016
I installed this sink in my camper van project. For me, it's the ideal size and shape. For someone that cooks a lot, you should check the sizes and shapes of your cookware, for fit. This sink opening is 10 inches from front to back, at the top of the basin. That tapers a bit going down, then has a radius down to the bottom. You could probably get an 8-inch pot or jug to sit flat on the bottom of the sink. Depth is about 4 3/4 inches.I used the Pfister Pfirst Series 2-Handle Bar/Prep Kitchen Faucet, Polished Chrome. I wanted that tall gooseneck, and, as it happens, Amazon had that faucet recommended with this sink. From the bottom of the faucet outlet, to the sink bottom, it's 9 3/4 inches. I also used the Amazon-recommeded Houzer 190-4200 Stainless Steel Drain Basket Strainer, 2-Inch. See these pieces in the attached photo. The sink was easy to install, and looks good, and seems to be very well made. It needs a 14 x 14 inch hole in the counter top, and you need about 1 more inch clear on all sides, underneath, for the mounting clips to grab onto the counter top.
perfect for my needs

Its fairy small (matches description) and exactly what i needed. Came with more than enough clips to make installation secure and quick. Couldn't be happier.
Looks great!
April 2, 2014
I am remodeling my house and bought this sink. I liked that it was a Moen and that the price was lower than at local home improvement stores. Looks good, cleans up good.
Great deal!
January 9, 2014
Not sure why this sink is so much lower than all the others, it seems to be very study, comes with brackets, is a 14x14" rough out, 15x15" over all size. I used it for an upgrade in my RV, way better than the crappy plastic one, and will certainly hold up better. The only issue I had at all with it was the edges being VERY sharp, this won't be an issue at all now that it is installed, but take care during installation not to cut a big gash in your finger!Otherwise, it looks good, and is a great buy.

Great value- no sacrifices
June 3, 2017
This was similar to comparable brands but was hundreds less. It is extremely well built, very well insulated for sound and looks great. In the vein of full disclosure, the first unit we received had a small bend on the mounting lip and had to be returned. Amazon provided a no-hassle return and we had the replacement within two days. The second unit was perfect. One of the debates we had was whether to buy this larger single bowl or go with one of the popular double bowl configurations. Obviously we decided on the large, deep single bowl and are so glad we did. Having the large bowl with the grate at the bottom is that we can prepare messy food right in the sink without messing the countertops. I didn't realize how much I'd enjoy the roominess compared to our old double bowl porcelain sink. This one is much deeper than our old one and was a concern, but we actually like the depth. The only thing about such a deep sink is that the plumber needed to make some adjustments to make sure the draining fit and functioned properly. As an aside, after buying and receiving this sink, we felt it had such good quality that we ordered a Kraus faucet even though we had budgeted for a more expensive one. Together the Kraus sink and faucet saved us approximately $350 (or more) without sacrificing quality or looks. This is a brand that gets consistently good reviews and IMO has earned them. FWIW, I am not affiliated in any way with Kraus or any other commercial entity. Just a homeowner who appreciates getting value from hard earned money.
Amazing quality and value
June 23, 2016
I am a builder, so I feel like I have a pretty good background on the value and quality of sinks. This sink has done nothing but impress me. When our kitchen remodel had gone over it's $40k budget due to some unforeseen aditional issues we had to try to make our money count but without ruining the end goal so we decided to take a chance on this sink because of the good reviews, and the specs. I have flipped a number of houses, from low end to high end, and I know that gauge and sound deadening are big issues to me. This sink is as good as the $1000 sinks we were looking at and even with my 30% contractor discount this sink was still way less expensive. We've had it for about 2 months and I'm still as satisfied as day 1. Some people have complained that it can scratch, all I can say to that us I've never seen a stainless sink that can't. If you clean in the direction of the grain in the metal it should look awesome for many years. Take a look at the pictures to know what type of kitchen this went into.
Fits Ikea SKETION base cabinet.
February 22, 2016
After a ton of research and some fuzzy answers I can confirm that this does fit a standard Ikea SKETION sink cabinet. It is a very tight fit but it works. The Ikea documentation and sales people will drive you away from a sink this size. I called the sub-contractor they use locally and they confirmed fitment.I love the sink and, as others have written, you need to mindful of wiping it down to keep it looking good. It is also prone to scratching so take the right precautions for that (a plastic sink matt comes in handy).
Great sturdy, deep, large sink! PERFECT for IKEA 30" sink cabinet!
December 23, 2015
Sink is awesome, and grate that it comes with is a very good bonus! The sink is HUGE. Only downside is it does seem a little easy to scratch, but the grate will help out a lot with that. Also, the sound deadening on this sink is great! Almost no noise at all, which is impressive for a stainless steel sink. The main reason I bought this particular sink was it was the only sink of this size I found that was reviewed to fit into a 30" IKEA sink cabinet. The rest of the sinks had a maximum basin width of 26". The addition 2" on this sink (28" total) is a big difference.Attached is a picture of it installed into a 30" IKEA Sektion sink cabinet with the Insinkerator Compact 3/4 HP disposal (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000G837TW?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4)
Great buy!
November 24, 2015
We've had this sink for over a month now and are very happy with it. Many of the negative comments you see on Amazon regarding the sink are that it scratches too easily. This is somewhat true but with the rack that's included it hasn't been an issue for us. The bottom line is that unless you want to spend $800+ you won't find a better sink. The granite shop that installed our sink and countertops were very impressed with the overall construction and quality. They are now looking to offer these Krause sinks to their customers instead of the previous brands they had in the same price range. That says something since the company has been in business for over 25 years.
This sink continues to impress me. Amazing bang for the buck.
November 14, 2011
For those of you that are unsure about buying a sink with barely any reviews:I did a lot of research on a sink in this price range and narrowed down my options to this Kraus and a zero-radius Vigo VG3219C (with the strainer and bottom grid as well). Both were very close in price I couldn't pick one from only looking online and reading the handful of reviews, so I ordered both (so I could touch them sinks for reals). Both sinks arrived the same day (Vigo ordered from Home Cheapo). I don't usually feel this compelled to write a review. Here is a comparison:Company:Kraus: You may have read on one review for the 32 inch version of this sink that Kraus sinks are made in China and try very hard to hide it. It's true, it is made in China with a faux-German name - so if you are only interested in buying something made in North America or countries that are known for quality products (like Germany), then do not purchase this sink.Vigo: Made in China, sold from New Jersey (side note: I don't know why, but everything I've ever bought from New Jersey, or any e-tailor I have purchased from that is based out of New Jersey has always ended up being a scam or knockoff....weird).Packaging:Kraus (11 out of 10): Best packaging I have ever received anything in....ever. The box is air tight and made of that incredibly durable, thick cardboard, and everything is padded like crazy inside with styrofoam and the sink itself comes in a canvas bag. Note that this is actually a packaging job by Kraus and not Amazon.Vigo (3 out of 10): Flimsy cardboard box. Poorly taped together. Thin layer of styrofoam on the top and bottom. The elements could certainly make their way in. I can't say if Amazon would beef up the packaging, Home Cheapo sure didn't.Looks:Kraus (10 out of 10): This sink has small radius corners and those grooves that go towards the drain, I know you are attracted to that style. It looks awesome - exactly like the manufacturer photos.Vigo (10 out of 10): The sink actually looks very nice. Just like the manufacturer photos.Finish:Both were 16 gauge stainless steel. I know you are wondering if it feels as smooth as the 1000+ dollar sink you were drooling over at the kitchen and bath store, or if it feels rough. Here's the deets:Kraus (8 out of 10): It feels very close to those expensive sinks. I am actually very surprised how smooth it is. I think I would only be able to tell the difference if I had the two side by side. One note is that the corners of this sink are machined (unlike expensive zero-radius sinks which are soldered together by hand) and the high-quality smooth finish that is on the rest of the sink does not seem to feel the same in the corners. This actually doesn't not bug me at all. The difference isn't big, but it is noticeable. I didn't want to try to scratch my brand new sink to see how it holds up to scratches. Sorry. There weren't any on there, so that is a good sign. I will plan on using the bottom grid for added protection.Let me re-iterate that the Finish of this sink is way above my expectations.Vigo (3 out of 10): Feels horrible....like sandpaper. It arrived with plenty of scratches on the inside of the sink. It appeared that someone had already opened it up (I blame this on Home Cheapo for passing it off as a new item, I doubt they sent it back to Vigo to repackage). The quality of the Vigo was sub-par and the zero-radius corners (factory welded in China!) didn't even go all the way up to the top in one corner, so there was literally a hole in the sink (speaks to their quality control).Sound-deadening material:Kraus (10 out of 10): Most, if not all, of the stainless steel sinks I have seen, have the entire underside coated with a hardened foam. This was applied thicker on the Kraus compared to most other stainless steel sinks I have seen (at all price points). This made me happy. There are also sound-deadening patches strategically located (look at the pictures). Location of patches is excellent. These patches are nice and thick, too.Vigo (5 out of 10): Foam was not as thick as Kraus. Sound-deadening patches were also very thin and poorly placed. But hey, they were there.Recap:Kraus: The quality of this sink continues to impress me. It looks and feels like a very expensive sink. You can't do better for this price point.Vigo: Shipped from the ever shady New Jersey. Scratched and had a hole in one corner. Not smooth at all. It looked nice, but wouldn't fool anyone. I returned it promptly.UPDATE:I have used this sink for a while now and my wife and I keep telling each other how much we love it. We have been using the bottom grate and the sink still looks as good as the day we bought it. We are using this sink with a Moen Lindley faucet and they go great together. Lastly, the small-radius corners have been extremely easy to clean and I am so happy we didn't go with a zero-radius corner. I would purchase this sink again (if the circumstance ever arose).

Love it!
June 28, 2017
Such a nice looking sink. I love how deep and large it is. Having had a double basin before so far I think I like this better. One thing I am not sure about yet is the grate. I like that the dishes sit on it but feel like food gets trapped underneath and you have to remove the grate to clean it out which is a pain. I think if there was a little more slope to the sink it might make it easier to get the food to the drain without removing the grate. Anyways still love it and am happy with it.
It came beautifully packaged. Like a piece of jewlery
November 4, 2016
There's pros and cons to everything, and this sink has them. It came beautifully packaged. Like a piece of jewlery. The size is wonderful. I replaced a double drop in porcelain sink with this. I never want a double sink again. No more tipping pans on their side to clean them. All my pans fit easily in this deep/wide sink. I'm glad I didn't get the 32-inch. It would have been too wide for me. Honestly, in a perfect world, if this was an inch or two less deep, I'd prefer it. If you are going from a drop-in to undermount, (like me), remember, you have to add the thickness of your countertop to the depth of the sink. However, finding a nice looking 8-9 inch deep stainless in 16 gauge (stronger), is nearly impossible. I've done the research. Lastly, is my biggest complaint. Water drains very poorly. After your turn off the water, you're left with lots of water drops all over the bottom of the sink. It's recommended to whipe dry after use, but that's just not realistic for us. We randomly use the sink all day. All in all, I love the look, and will live with the water drops. We did add a garbage disposal which fit fine, however our garbage can just barely fits underneath (about one inch play below bottom of sink).
Good quality sink
February 25, 2016
This large, attractive sink looks terrific in our kitchen. It seems to be very well made. There is no noise so seems well-dampened. However, a couple of caveats.First, the bottom is not tilted enough to drain food that has fallen under the rinse grid.Secondly, the rinse grid is so perfectly fitted to the bottom of the sink (which in theory is a fabulous design execution) that any overhang of the countertop makes it difficult to shift the rinse grid out. While this is not a fault of the manufacturer, if you wish to design in an overhang be aware of that.Beyond those two mentions, however, I would buy this again. It is a terrific value, and beautiful.
Deep sink with great features
January 27, 2016
Look no further if you need an under-mount sink for you brand new granite/solid surface counter-tops. We had this installed by our granite installers and they kept commenting on the quality of the sink. The sink is very deep and has a nice shine to it. The rounded corners are a must when it comes to easy cleanup. The train assembly is one of kind. The deep strainer makes cleaning out the food waste a breeze. I rarely notice if any food makes it through the provided strainer. Now the main problem I have is that this sink so so deep there was no way for me to have a garbage disposal hooked up. I have had 2 opinions on this and the only solution was cutting into the wall to relocate my drain pipe. So if you plan on using this sink with a garbage disposal, do some quick checking to make sure that the drain pipe is at least a few inches lower than the bottom of the sink.

May 7, 2015
Pros: It is beautiful, and the perfect size and depth for our kitchen!Cons: It scratches very easily and it does not drain well. The grid for the bottom has to be removed to really get at any food, etc. in the sink, and requires a lot of water to chase the particles around the sink into the drain. I wanted this sink because the grid was included, but because it scratches anyway and has to be removed to properly clean the sink anyway, so I'm not sure it was the right choice. Lastly, if you want to use the grid, you cannot extend your countertop lip over the edges of the sink, or you will not be able to remove it.
Great sink...Poor quality strainer
March 5, 2015
I really do wish I could give this 5 stars, as I would if it weren't for the strainer. I was excited because I thought, with the depth of it, that it would hold a lot before needing to be emptied. Turns out it takes very little to clog it up. Very little. This morning I made some tea, dumped most of the leaves into the garbage when done, then rinsed the tea strainer in this sink. There were maybe about 5 spaghetti noodles left from a dish I had just rinsed before that. The water started to rise on the bottom of the sink and there it stood. When this clogs, the water drains very slowly. I've tried reaching my hand and lifting the strainer just a hair to make it drain faster; this does work, but I can see debris sliding down under the strainer. I've tried taking my kitchen brush and swishing inside the strainer to help the water drain faster. This sometimes helps but most of the time does nothing. There has to be a solution to this issue as I've seen others comment about it, too. I've also seen people comment about how great the strainer is and catches everything with no mention of it clogging and I'd like to know what these people may be doing differently. Love the sink, though!

Disappointed in this sink
December 1, 2016
Disappointed in this sink. I though it would take alot to scratch it. It has been installed about 4 1/2 months and within the first couple of weeks a fork went between the grate that comes with the sink and scratch it. I never take the grate out except to clean the sink. The bottom of the sink looks terriable and now I don't even show it to people when they come over to see my new kitchen. They see it anyways and always remake on how big it is. I love the size, just not the scratches. I am a widow, so there is not alot of dishes or pots and pans to do in the sink. I do use the dishwasher more that the sink. Very disappointed in the surface. At this rate I will have to replace it in a couple of years.
Caution: Scratches easily
February 14, 2016
Sink scratched very easily with simple dish sponge the first week it was installed which is very disappointing. The sink also easily grows slimy substance on it if not wiped down after EVERY time you wash dishes. I have never had this problem before with a sink, so this is new to me. Other than these two complaints, the sink does the job.

Concerned about drain parts quality
October 19, 2015
The proprietary bolt in the center of the drain that holds the drain onto the sink rusted and snapped in half in less than 3 months. I found a carriage bolt at Lowes to replace it so I could continue using the same drain, but it's not hollow like the original and has a huge head that covers a good bit of the drain.I do love the depth, drying rack and wide and deep strainer though.

January 6, 2015
I have mixed fillings about this sink. It looks and feels great. Much heavier than I expected and really looks and feels like a high end piece. On the bad side, it does scratch easily if you don't use the provided bottom grid, which you may find not very attractive (although the quality seems very good). Also, it seems as if the drain angles of the bottom part of the sink and not sharp enough, therefore the sink takes a while to drain the water completely. This is not a huge problem because it eventually drain the water, but it seems to take longer than your average sink.

Not Quite Right
July 5, 2017
This sink is NOT 15" x 15" OD as advertised. It's more like 14.8" x 14.8". Why does that matter? Because, with it's curved corners, it will not cover a standard 14.5 x 14.5 outdoor sink cutout. I would not use this sink if your cutout is larger than 14 x 14.

Gives Me Backaches - Lots of “Food Chasing” to Keep Clean
June 27, 2017
We have had this sink for about 1 1/2 years and initially loved it. After using it for several months, I took out the sink grate. It was difficult to clean under it and since it is as big as the sink, it was a little awkward to take out to clean the sink. And it made it difficult to “chase” food particles down the drain while the grate was in. A better design for the grate would be to have it be in two pieces so you did not need to clear a 30 x16” space on your counter to clean the sink. Another more annoying thing is that the depth of the sink is too deep for me. I am 5’ 4” and my back aches after using the sink for 15 minutes for whatever I’m doing. Whether it is cleaning large pots and pans, doing a quick dishes rinse before putting in dishwasher or using a pan or something in the sink for cleaning counters and stove. The depth is too much and you must lean forward. It is harder on my husband’s back - he’s 6’ - to bend over to reach the bottom of sink for too long. For a shorter person, you may have to reach over and down. I wasn’t necessarily looking for a deep sink, just wanted a single sink. They all seemed to be extra deep at the time I was looking. After using a single sink for 1 1/2 years, I would go back to a double sink that has one sink larger than the other. There is a lot of “food chasing” to get scraps down the drain with this sink.. We live in Arizona and I feel like I am wasting water trying to keep the sink clean.

September 19, 2016
First, it is so deep that when mounted under the counter I had to spend $300 getting the plumbing INSIDE the wall lowered. I even got off cheap on the $300, it could have been 2 or 3 times that. BE SURE you know where this sink will put you drain for positive outflow. Second, because of the sink depth in combination with the under mount location, it is so far below the counter surface that I'm struggling with my back. I can't put s pan in the bottom of the sink to wash it. I have to hold it up where I can scrub. All this is on me. The sink itself looks good and is well constructed of heavy gauge steel with added sound proofing. The included wire grate for the bottom of the sink is very useful as well.

You'll love this sink
August 3, 2015
What a beautiful sink...well built, looks great...so pleased with the depth, the construction...can't find these in your local big box store.Update: I have found this stainless still sink interior does not clean up well. Maybe it is the Chinese steel. Also, there are, for lack of a better description, serious flaws appearing on parts of the sink itself. I am less infatuated with this sink than when I first received it.....what this experience has taught me is to not buy a lesser known brand...especially one made in China. THe KRAUS name is misleading. I purchased the undermount sink...when I installed new counters. I'm stuck with with it.
Scratches easy, water does not drain well
August 13, 2014
Scratches easy, water does not drain well, very hard to keep clean with grate you have to use on type to keep surface from scratching, but it still scratches due to utensil falling in between. Grate is very hard to keep clean, you have to constantly scrub it.
another mediocre Chinese product
June 15, 2014
I bought two of K's sinks. The stainless sink is of relatively low quality, as surface rust, in the form of small dots, appears quickly under normal usage (SS may display surface rust after a long time). Hence, avoid corrosive material & make sure you rinse well if using or dropping in e.g., chlorinated (cleaning) materials. Also, the inner corners are not finished nicely, perhaps due to worn inserts in the forming press's die (or a rushed draw-down). Also, technical data is extremely of poor quality, as the retail outlets (e.g., Amazon, built.com...) adapted inferior presentation of dimensions from K, whereby metric & English dim' do not agree not in value nor in form. A request for Engineering drawings (DXF) was responded with a supplied one that can be termed as "a professional joke". Clearly, K, while having a nice European name, did not consider this type of Chinese data presentation important. Note that the strainer seems to me to be made of a better SS. Product packaging was very good.

This is worst sink that you can buy. Don't get me wrong it looks good. My wife and me loved it when our contractor installed it. It has sturdy structure, very heavy like commercial kitchen sink. But problem started when we started using it. We just used scotch brite sponge to clean it. It got scratched all over the sink and the do not go away. This is just after a week use. It is surprising product with such great reviews got such basic flaw. I really regret buying since it really hard to replace it.
Sink arrived in used condition

Like several other reviewers experienced, I also received a sink which was clearly previously purchased and used- there were water stains and scratches on the sink and the protective outer insulation was also in used condition -I would strongly advise anyone who is considering to purchase this sink to inspect it well upon receipt.- I assumed I was going to get what I paid for: a NEW sink!
