Five Star Reviews: | 17% printet August 12, 2016 well over all I liked the product but some minor mistakes I got a different color then the color its was to be and missing batteries and cords, I did get batteries and cord but not the color printer. printer January 30, 2014 prints very goodand dosed need very much paper to printvery good for travel documents on the plane . SiPix A6 Portable Printer January 29, 2005 This thermal paper uses small rolls to print on - requiring no ink. It's small, lightweight (except with 4 "AA" batteries) and can receive data via its IrDA port OR serial connection. This did not work with my Jornada 680e but did with a iPad 19xx so it may not work with older PDAs (though, it was designed to work with Palms). You *can* use it with a desktop or laptop but you simply cannot install the drivers and "voila!" The properties of the connection between the printer and computer must be manually modified for it to work properly - but when you get it to work, it's perfect. I use it to print receipts and it is absolutely fantastic. I suppose the only "downside" to it is that paper for it is pretty expensive...the starter rolls aren't going to be enough to do much with so plan on looking for CUT or ROLL (preferably) cheap. Super pint-sized printer November 3, 2003 I have just bought this printer, and let me say, it is the best device that I have bought for my sony Clie. I am running Palm OS 4.1, and it works great. I downloaded the IRprint and Doctoprint combo demo from IRprint.com. It has good quality print, for pure text. The only problem that I have found is that it is sometimes hard to get a perfect lineup between the IR ports, but that might just be my handheld. Overall, I would say, go out and buy it. It has a definate cool factor. If you need a printer for documents to go, sheet to go, or any of the built in palm apps, get this one!! | 74% Well-made, Fits perfectly, Room for Adapters. June 10, 2017 It is well made out of what I assume is neoprene (or something similar). It is the same material as a wet suit I had. The zippers are strong and the handles can be tucked neatly away or pulled out for carrying. I like the separate area for power cord and adapter(s). A few blank paper sheets would also fit inside with the printer if desired. I like being able to protect my printer when traveling. I recommend this product. Thank you. it's made storing the printer nice and easy May 16, 2017 I bought this for use with the CANON iP110. It fits the printer and its cables snugly, has a durable zipper, and decent padding. I haven't had to do so yet, but should I need to carry my printer elsewhere (out of the house), I would be much less doing so with it in this case. So far, it's made storing the printer nice and easy; I put it in its case, store it in my desk, and take it back out when I need it for a job. I highly recommend the CANON iP110 for people looking for a small, easy to transport printer, and also recommend getting this carrying case for it. Great buy for your printer April 5, 2017 I love this carry case. It holds the printer, new toner cartridges and all the cables. Just great for my next trip. Very nice case for the canon Pixma portable printer. August 8, 2016 Very nice case and it works well for the printer. I waited to review until after we had taken a few trips with it. The printer and cables carried well. We brought it along in the carry on bags and even with the treatment we give to carryon's there was no damage or anything that transferred to the printer. The neoprene is stretchy and gives to conform and th thickness provides the protection. The case has enough room for the printer, power supply cables and USB cables. You could probably stuff it with spare ink too (we carried it in another pouch. Well made and worth the price. Five Stars December 20, 2015 Love it love it love it! Finally everything is organized and cable fits no problem |
Four Star Reviews: | 5% SiPix A6 & Dell Axim X5 March 13, 2004 On impulse I bought the Sipix A6 printer, brand new,(for a mere 19 bucks!) after checking it's compatibility with my invoicing software -Lowfat Invoice. However, I DID NOT check whether there were any known issues with the Dell Axim X5 and I was unaware of the wonderful people at AXIMSITE.COM.Soooo, the unit arrives. I giggle. I Take it out the box, pop in the CD and there were only drivers for 2000/98/ME and Palm. %$!!! I'm running XP Pro and PPC 2002. I google and search for drivers. I found these: [...] and I'm printing in XP - Woo Hoo! Load the CE drivers, attempt to print from LowFat - nuthin. %$!!! I made several attempts of removing and reinstalling the drivers, even changing the location (SD Card, main memory, built-in storage) -all, to no avail. Then I spot a thread response in Aximsite Forums by zipidydoda that recommended removing all the expansion cards and reloading the drivers. So I:1) Remove my SD Card and the compact flash card2) Did a soft reset3) Put it in the USB Cradle4) Used ActiveSync to remove the Sipix Printer Driver (if you get an error stating that a file is still loaded in memory you may have to tap> Start> Settings> System> Memory >Running Programs> Stop all - however, doing a soft reset before this step should help you avoid any errors)5) Did a soft reset (after taking it out of the cradle)6) Put it in the USB Cradle7) Reinstalled the driver (location provided above)8) Turned Axim off (after taking it out of the cradle) -this was also part of the instructions provided by Sipix9) Turned Axim on10) Print from A6print (tap > Start>Programs> A6print -it is best to choose a small txt file for quick printing)11) Voila !!So I'm printing -Woo Hoo! I try it in Lowfat -same error as before "Unable to Establish Infrared Link". What?!!? Just as I was about to chunk the thing -I thought long enough to calm down and approach it as if it were an error on a desktop. Since it's the IR port that's not jiving, I thought it could possibly be a transfer rate issue. I go into Lowfat> Tools> Print> Advanced> More Settings. There was no setting for IR Port Speed and the one for the Serial Port was defaulted at its lowest settings. I unchecked "Alternate IR Connection" and "IR Buffer Adjustment". Prayed -attempted to print...Thank God!!!!! I'm printing -not only can I print with the A6Print and A6Capture utilities but I can print from LowFat Invoice too!Sorry this was so lengthy but I didn't want anyone else to have to spend a whole business day trying to get their Sipix A6 to work -or worse...give up. I hope this helps somebody.God Bless,Axzym | 18% I like to carey spare ink too August 28, 2017 It fits. I think it should have more room for the power/usb cables though. I like to carey spare ink too. It all fits but it's a pita to shove it all in there. A package your printer & parts. Minor protection against bumps. April 15, 2017 Just the right size, for printer, cable, and ink (not battery). Only thing I'd fault it on is the padding, which is thin -- little protection against bumps. Reminds me of the material some wetsuits are made of (rubbery core covered by cloth). Good Quality March 20, 2017 A little large for the Epson mini printer. However, it has a divider so that you can place the cord in it as well. Nice sleeve for portable printer August 23, 2015 The sleeve fits the Epson WF-100 printer but except the length is too long. I used it to store an extra black print cartridge. The color cartridge is too big. The neoprene is nice and soft and there is a zippered pocket for cables. However it is too slim to fit the charger. It was convenient to pack in a carry-on suitcase. Great bag for taking printer when on the go June 4, 2015 Nice bag cushend well to protect printer from bumping unit. For price great deal. Most likely if dropped the printer might be damaged but I just wanted a bag to carrie it easy and not get banged up or scratched . |
Three Star Reviews: | 14% Not everyone is close to a Best Buy or Office max so when the connection equipment ... September 3, 2016 Not everyone is close to a Best Buy or Office max so when the connection equipment isn't included it can't be used.... Three Stars July 25, 2014 sos printer still trying to get it to work even put it on win 98 and still almost worthless | 5% Ugly Smell June 10, 2016 The case fits my canon ip110 without the battery. However, I really cannot bare the smell. After stay with the bag in the room for 5 minutes. I felt dizzy and want to vomit. Don't know what's wrong with this bag. After I washed the bag, I can still smell the weird smell. it would have been nice to leave the battery on once it is purchased April 3, 2015 I purchased this case for the Canon Pixma iP 110 based on other reviews. One review mentioned it holds the case with the battery. It probably does, IF the battery is not attached to the printer. With the battery attached, the zipper on the case does not even come close to serving its function. Although there are only two screws holding the battery on, it would have been nice to leave the battery on once it is purchased. Perhaps the description should have specifically mentioned it covers the printer, but not with the battery attached. |
Two Star Reviews: | 10% the printer! June 18, 2014 It came short with only one battery, and one small amount of printer paper in other words it must be short in it's use. PITA August 10, 2013 I might have to send it back. The thermal printer ran on batteries and was real cool. The printer driver was outdated so I downloaded a printer driver. Still doesn't work because the service cable is outdated and doesn't plug into my laptop connections. Now I need a service to USB cord to connect it to my PC. Still don't know if that will work. So far I say it's been a pain in the (pita). If it works after I find a cord to connect my PC I will rate it again. As of now, don't waste your money! Not what I expected December 11, 2011 I bought this for my daughter to use with her laptop when she goes to college, I knew that it was a small printer, and used a special paper, but I thought the paper was normal size. Not happy@all! Lack of Sofware August 30, 2001 In principle, this a great printer for the Palm, but be aware of the sofware. The printer comes with a sofware that allows you to print only from Datebook, addressbook, todo, and memo. In my case I wanted the printer to be able to print my documents from Quickword, and Quicksheet, multimail. After contacting Sipix, I was informed that I had to purchase Palmprint, which can print documents from Quickword, and for Quicksheet, I find out that I have to purchase Printboy. Bottom line, on top of the cost of the printer, you still have to purchase other printing softwares in order to take full advantage of this printer, which translates into more $$$$$$$$$$.This is absolutely rediculous, it should be up to the manufacturer to supply the proper software that will enable the users to print from any applications that they use. Beside, this printer is aimed at businessman/women, buying a printer that will allow printing only from addressbook, todo, memo, or datebook is by no mean of any help to any business person. The reason I wanted to buy this printer, was to be able to print my documents while on the road (word, excel, e-mail, faxes..)Defenitely not worth the buy, until it is supplied with the proper software that will enable printing from any application. | 2% Not what i expected at all. Not very big ... May 31, 2015 Not what i expected at all. Not very big and the printer barely fits and that is it. Would not recommend purchasing this item. Works, but just barely, better alternatives exist April 2, 2015 Very tight fit for a Canon iP90 or iP100 printer. Everything fits but just barely, makes for a very bulky and stretched bag. With the cables and the printer stuffed in, there's no place to securely store the ink cartridges. You're much better off buying a 14 inch laptop bag with a should strap such as this one and have more flexibility to store stuff comfortablyhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DUGZFLK and cheaper too |
One Star Reviews: | 54% Product was like it was advertised February 6, 2017 Product was like it was advertised. Didn't come with instructional video. Not ever the cord. Bad product, wouldn't recommend. nothing but a paperweight May 17, 2016 do not buy this printer, nothing but a paperweight. keep your money There's no option for 0 stars so I'm forced to give it one! December 19, 2014 Won't connect to Windows and the CD is useless. Company is no longer in business so there's no customer support. The worst item from Amazon March 19, 2013 There is no warning to the costumer about being an old, pre-historic device. Ports are from the 1980s and you must have an old computer to operate it of buy additional cables. Don't throw your money away. Gg to the movies. This printer works only with OUTDATED operating systems -- and is NOT eligible for return to the seller March 8, 2013 This printer works only with outdated operating systems (Windows XP or earlier) and WILL NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS 7. Therefore, I cannot install it to work with my computer--AND THEN I LEARNED THAT IT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN TO THE SELLER.I was pretty angry, so I wrote a review critical of the printer -- and Amazon. But I contacted Amazon, and they made it possible for me to return the printer. So YEAH! for Amazon -- and RASPBERRIES for this printer (and Acedepot). | 1% |
