Five Star Reviews: | 87% A great fusion of the two most iconic world builders May 14, 2016 Got this set for my six year old son, who is in love with Minecraft and Lego in equal parts. Even though it says 8+ he has been doing sets in this age range for quite a while. He was able to follow the instructions from start to finish, and we are both really happy with the end result. The fact the house is on hinges and can be split apart really adds to the appeal, and the little touches inside, like the bed, crafting table, and wall mount for the little Minecraft axe really sold the spirit of the set. He has one or two other Minecraft sets, and I think they are all on a similar "platform" structure that has let him connect the sets together. Or maybe he did that on his own, but either way, he has gotten a lot of play out of this set, and the quality of the pieces and attention to detail has been great. Great Lego set for Minecraft March 27, 2016 It seems like every children these days is into Minecraft and of course Legos are so fun to play with. I purchased 2 of these sets for my 11 year old son and my nephew who is 7. Both sets had all the pieces in them and the instructions. They had a blast following the instructions and building this set to add to their collection. I would recommend for anyone who likes Legos and enjoys Minecraft. Great Product! December 29, 2015 It's a great Lego set. But, there is a flaw in this product. Some pieces are too complicated to fit with others.Warning: Don't press down too hard or it will BREAK!! :( Steve rules. And has bread. June 23, 2015 As the executive officer of a forward deployed maintenance company I find that basically everything is very very serious all the time even when it doesn't have to be. I bought this, built it, and put it on my desk. People who come to my office play with it all the time. There is a time for seriousness. There is also a time to just chill and let Steve run things. Love me some LEGO. Watch out for the Creeper! March 24, 2015 This Minecraft Lego set is adorable, but watch out for the creeper! I gave this set away to a 10 year old for her birthday. She had no problem building it on her own. The set it great and like the other Minecraft sets, can be connected to the others and altered in anyway you'd like, just like the Minecraft world. This set includes Steve, and creeper, and a pink. The Minecraft Lego animals are adorable. The Farm includes a sheep and cow, which as also cute. This Lego set will please any Minecraft fan. Best Lego/Minecraft "if-you-get-no-other-set" set November 16, 2014 Lego Minecraft The First Night is fun and engaging. My 8 yo son and I were delighted during the build...and he seems to find endless play possibilities with it (especially when combined with The Cave and The Farm as we got all three at the same time). The First Night is more substantial than the other two sets just mentioned and has a "complete package" feel such that if you don't get any other of the Lego/MC sets this one is the way to go. The sets fit together fantastically. And all of the sets have the true Lego/MC "signature" spirit of follow instructions/do your own thing/combine/rebuild, etc. that makes them very versatile and deeply satisfying. Our next set to build will be The Crafting Box (already ordered) which focuses on this MOC spirit (btw: MOC=my own creation). Not sure about The Mine and The End (of course son wants them all!)---those are the most expensive of the current 6-set Lego/MC wave. Perhaps another Crafting Box or two is the way we will go; combining the three sets we have with two or three Crafting Box sets will immediately, exponentially open up so many building possibilities it will be almost like the "real" Minecraft! | 88% SUPER FUN! March 7, 2017 whats this, well its super fun it easy to take apart and rebuild i done it many times it small but fun you can make a few designs with it on your own i will say this that you get the house even though i do not have it it is pretty cool i hope you have fun Cute Set January 25, 2017 I got this for my granddaughter for Christmas because all she talked about was Minecraft Lego. She is four and crazy about watching Minecraft videos on YouTube. We monitor which ones she sees, of course, and don't allow any violent ones. I thought The Farm Lego set was kind of cute and she was thrilled with it. Of course, she can't quite build them herself, but that's what Grandpa is for! My two nephews love this set! December 30, 2016 This was a gift to my 8 and 6 year old nephews. The older one is great at building with Lego, and gladly helps his younger brother out. This set is definitely a little complicated for the younger ones, but a little help from others goes a long way. The amount of blocks and characters included make it well worth the price. Open-ended set, great for the imagination of a Minecraft fanatic! January 24, 2016 My 7 year old son got this for Christmas. He is a Minecraft fanatic, as are many other boys his age, so this was right up his alley. I like The Farm because it is such an innocent part of Minecraft and it is so alluring to the kids. I remember when my son spent days on growing his own farm in the game, and he would keep me posted on his carrots and wheat and what not, and what is important to grow in Minecraft, etc. This kit has 262 pieces and is rated for ages 8+, but my 4 year old (who has never played Minecraft, but who does listen to his brother talk about it) loves it, too. They will spend hours building the Farm in all different ways. The thing about this lego set is that there isn't just one way to build the Farm. My kids both have many other Lego sets that are finished once they have built them. This one can be built in an infinite number of ways. They can grow their carrot and wheat and put up lanterns where ever they want. This set comes with the main Minecraft guy Steve, a skeleton, a cow, a sheep, a couple of lanterns, a pumpkin head, a shovel for Steve, a treasure chest, a Minecraft "crafting table," platforms on which to work and build, blue clear Legos for water, Legos to build trees, etc. I have even enjoyed building with this set with my boys. The creativity and imagination is endless with this set, and I am planning on getting another open-ended Minecraft Lego set to extend this one. Great job, Lego company. Minecraft + Legos = Love for boys ages 6-12 December 14, 2015 My son loves this thing. He plays with it all the time! Legos and Minecraft combined is the dream of every 6-12 year old boy, right? I actually really love the Minecraft lego sets because minecraft kits can be added to rather easily since it is "blocky" unlike the lego city cars and such where they just build them and walk away.... Even though I am not a Minecraft player myself I found this set to be great fun. November 16, 2014 The Farm is a truly enchanting and "just right" set. My 8yo son and I have gotten three sets so far (this and The Cave and The First Night) and each has its own "feel"...and they go together seamlessly (literally and figuratively). Even though I am not a Minecraft player myself I found this set to be great fun. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 7% great toy January 20, 2017 My grandson was very happy to get this for Christmas. Minecraft toys are very popular for a variety of ages and LEGOs are always fun. Cute toy May 22, 2016 Really cute set! I bought it for my five year old and he's playing with it with his mini figures. The pieces are sometimes are to stick together. This was a Christmas gift for a very close friend ... February 6, 2016 This was a Christmas gift for a very close friend of mine daughter. All I know that she was excited to have received the gift and could not wait to begin putting it together...... My little girl (age 7) loved building this and playing with it once it was ... January 4, 2016 My little girl (age 7) loved building this and playing with it once it was built. It seems a little pricey, at least compared to the Lego-knockoff competition, but it's a solid set, easy for a 7-year-old to build, and the final build is sturdy enough to play with. My son loves Minecraft and loved putting this together October 21, 2015 My son loves Minecraft and loved putting this together. It was a great addition to his other Minecraft legos. Just wish Legos in general weren't so expensive compared to what they used to be. | 8% It's fine, I guess January 7, 2017 Bought as a gift, have no idea if kid likes or not. It's fine, I guess. Cute November 30, 2016 Cute set. All the pieces were there and in good shape. Nothing was misshapen. The cow and sheep were seperate blocks that you actually put together yourself to make them which was the highlight of my son's day when he put it together. It had step by step instruction books with it on how to make it exact and my 6 year old son was able to follow the instructions by himself to get it put together, so its pretty easy to understand. After getting it put together once and taking it apart to build things differently, he lost most of the smaller pieces, but kids will be kids. Great Lego Set November 6, 2015 I purchased this kit for my 7 yr old grandson. He loves Legos and likes to come up with his own designs. This kit has directions but also says to do it your own way. The kit has a large variety great unique pieces such as sheep, flowers and vegetables. The only draw back is the pieces are very small and can be hard to find if they fall on the floor. I bought this for something to do while sitting at my desk and was happy when it arrived August 20, 2015 I am a huge minecraft fan. Also a lego fan. I bought this for something to do while sitting at my desk and was happy when it arrived. After putting it together I realized that there wasn't much to do with it. There wasn't enough dirt pieces to make a hut. So definitely going to need to add it to another set to make a suitable play set. That's the reason for the 4 stars Its minecraft, its legos August 14, 2015 It's minecraft. Cost a little to much, bought it just so kids could have something minecraft with legos. Son is addicted to mine craft and Legos- perfect combo May 15, 2015 My son loves this lego. I don't really get the whole mine craft thing, but he was overjoyed to receive it. He has been playing with it constantly. I'm so happy with it because it gets him away from the TV. He seems to really be using his imagination. I gave it four stars instead of 5 because I wish it was like 10 dollars less. We have a lot of Legos so I'm used to them being expensive. I just think for what it is the price is a little much. But anything minecraft will sell. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 3% Three Stars March 16, 2017 Good for the price but my nephew was bored because he was able to set it up too fast. Son loves it i think its a ok price i ... October 13, 2016 Son loves it i think its a ok price i seen it $15 cheaper at walmart a week after i bought this. My kids LOVE lego sets August 7, 2016 Ordered this as one of my 10 yr old's birthday gifts. My kids LOVE lego sets, especially StarWars, but they always seem to complain that the Minecraft sets dont stay together well. They build one and it falls apart on them. They always say this when it comes to Minecraft Lego kits. Im not sure why. Fun to build not to play February 26, 2015 Me and my brother had a fun time building it. We knew that after we got done building it would be ready to play with! But when we started to play it kept breaking, so we ended up just breaking part of it and rebuilding it over and over. One big problem we had was the "base plates", they were weak and flimsy. When it broke pressing the piece back down would lead to breaking everything else. Over all it was fun to build and it looked awesome when we finished, but out childish desires of playing with it we not satisfied. High price, high value for Minecraft fans, could use more variety and bricks January 5, 2015 At first, I wasn't interested in getting the Minecraft (minifigure scale) sets from LEGO, but once we saw them in person at our local store, my kids wanted to get a few of them, mostly so they could built whatever they came up with, not following the instructions. This set is fantastic, though to my mind the price is way too high for what you get. However, Minecraft is popular and the creeper is a must-have figure, so this one was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, the house is very small, which makes sense for the size of the set and the nature of the game (starter houses in Minecraft are always bare-bones), but it would have been nice to get more "extra" pieces to work with in terms of "wood, dirt and grass" to allow for more creations beyond the basic house theme, but there are still lots of potential for building outside of the box and the figures are fantastic! | 2% Lots of small pieces very tedious. April 12, 2015 Nothing remarkable about this set. Lots of small pieces very tedious. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 1% Horrible quility June 8, 2015 Cheap my son got this for his birthday and the pieces would not even connect no matter what, first his older sister tried to do it, then myself then we knew it was garbage ... assemble for my son but would break apart very easily February 17, 2015 Not hard to assemble for my son but would break apart very easily | 1% I was disappointed in what we got for the price November 18, 2016 I was disappointed in what we got for the price. I would've paid half as much. For Minecraft Fans Only September 9, 2016 For Minecraft fans only. No play value, and pretty much useless if not paired with other Minecraft sets. This set is basically just an animal pen with a stylized pig and cow, and a small vegetable garden with a few carrots. Not recommended for casual builders. Good for parts to build up the Minecraft world. Two Stars January 31, 2016 My 7 year old grandson likes anything mine craft and it kept him amused for hours. Not satisfied!! December 6, 2014 Our product came and appears to be used. I'm not pleased at all! For the price I should have gotten a NEW one, not a used one. Unreal!! | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 2% Very small and expensive January 13, 2017 I bought several of these Legos for my grandson because he loves Minecraft after he put these Legos together they were so small and honestly I know he was disappointed but he wouldn't say it said no for what you pay for it it's definitely not worth it We pay a good amount of money for this Lego December 30, 2014 We pay a good amount of money for this Lego, and didn't came with a couple of pieces ( from the fabric) we check and check and now we are not able to finish our Lego! | 1% Super dIssa pointed December 26, 2016 The set does not stay together st all. I push one piece on 3 pop off. My just got this for Christmas. Super dIssa pointed $22 before black friday, $58 after January 3, 2015 Hiway robbery. If I hadn't made a promise to my grandson & this was the only available one I could find, this purchase would have NEVER happened. Shame. It is no wonder our country is in financial trouble, no one has a conscience anymore. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
