My baby up to around three or four months, this is by far one of my favorites. I also have the Moby which is pretty much the same thing and I paid way more for it than I did with this one. I highly recommend it to any new mom and I love that it comes with a DVD to show you how to use it. Comes with an instruction DVD Buy it! July 1, 2017 Just had my second child last week and being a mom of two has been trying. I feel like I never have enough hands and I'm always too busy nursing or soothing my newborn to tend to my oldest. I decided to order this wrap after looking at the options and I am SO happy I did! It arrived in the mail today and I looked up a tutorial on YouTube to help me get it on, put my baby right in (with the help of my husband), and hours later: I'm in love! I was able to be up walking around while he nursed, and he knocked out immediately after. I had to wake him up myself to change and eat after almost 2 1/2 hours. I'm excited to see what a huge help this should be in public also! As of today's date 10/09/16 we haven't had a single problem. We've been using these economy packed Pampers Swaddlers through Amazon's Prime or Subscription services strictly since our daughter was born - sizes Newborn through 2 so far. No issues. No cuts, no marks, and not a single leak (and our daughter knows how to fill a diaper!) I don't care about graphics quality, but I know for a fact that every box of Pampers items we have purchased through Amazon has been legit brand name since we submit the Rewards codes from each package directly to Pampers using their App, and never had a problem with a single one.These are great diapers to us and we will keep buying them through Amazon. ggreat June 19, 2016 I only have one baby so I can't compare when it comes to body type but I am super happy they came into my life as they have saved me many outfit changes or wet sheets!Also, I have used these overnight and have had only one incident of leakage in the middle of the night since she's been sleeping through the night (which is the past 9-10 months). I'd say that is a pretty darn good average! I wouldn't bother with the Pampers overnight diapers if you are already using these. My daughter sleeps about 10-11 hours every night and although her diaper is literally SATURATED with urine and completely puffed up and heavy in the morning, her clothes and crib sheets are completely dry. No leaking! I also love that it gets soft and squishy when full vs. hard and lumpy, like some other brands. I like the baby dry for overnights May 30, 2016 My tired mommy brain ordered these instead of the Pampers baby dry line. I like the baby dry for overnights, better than any other diaper. We use cloth diapers for my two moth old, except at night, I haven't the confidence for that yet.So these came and I decided to keep them for back up or quick outings, when it was easier to have one of these than to carry around soiled cloth diapers. May 23, 2016 I love Pampers! We have been using these diapers since day one, and they are great in every way. The wetness indicator works with even the tiniest amount of wetness and is bright and easy to see. The diapers hold a LOT...my 6 month old pees a lot at night and one diaper gets him through until morning without any leaks. The diapers pull the wetness away and the smell is minimal. Love the blue line when wet as when they're that ... May 10, 2016 Our hospital used and provided us some of these diapers during our stay so we used them at home as well. Love the blue line when wet as when they're that tiny - it's hard to gage unlike the larger sizes where you can feel the gel. They have the little cutout for the umbilical cord - but my babies were so tiny, we often had to fold that part down a bit more. There were no leaks - but when blow ups happen - we would size up and that would take care of the issue, because of this i find the lb range to be inaccurate.Both my babies were a bit shy of 6 lbs, the 1st used the N size for a month and the 2nd for about 2 weeks, although both grew around the same rate in lbs. It was just variance in where they gained the weight. As i was expecting to use this for close to a month - i was unable to finish this big box and gave the rest away. twin mom approved! The bottom (where baby lays) doesn't feel that thick and padded, but I am a first time mother and honestly don't know how other changing pads are in comparison or if the extra padding is necessary. November 28, 2016 I really hesitated between this changing pad and a few pricier ones on the market. As a new mom, I'm guilty of always wanting to buy the BEST everything for my baby--even if that sometimes means spending over 100 dollars on a changing pad my daughter will lay on for less than 5 minutes at a time to get her butt wiped (yes, I'm thinking of the Keekaroo Peanut Diaper Changer). But most times I listen to that voice in my head laughing hysterically at me for falling prey to marketing. When you put weight on it it conforms, I can feel the styrofoam like memory foam when I put weight on it. I don't know if it was Amazon or FedEx, but I am NOT very happy about the giant tear and dents in the box! Recieved a different model this time April 17, 2015 I've had this changing pad for 3 years now, It is amazing! My three year old still fits on it for diaper changes. Even if you don't have a changing table you can store it under your crib and pull it out as needed. No rips or tears 3 yrs later! Its so convenient to have a pad to change messy diapers on. It didn't have any smell when I received it and it still doesn't now. We put two covers over each other and just take the top on off if it gets dirty. All standard covers fit well. I will be ordering another one for new babys room as wellUPDATE:The new one that came in is not the same model # and has slightly shorter contoured sides. The sides don't come up to a point/look triangly instead it is a squared top. Not sure if this is an update or a whoops but summer brand who I called has not heard of this pad with this model #, yes that is kind of scary how the company hasn't heard of a product that I received from their brand/their tags are on it. Four Star Reviews: | 17% Baby loves being in it! July 6, 2017 It took me a few days of using the wrap to get used to tying it right, and so that I felt confident about being hands free. For reference, my baby is 3 weeks old, and 7lbs, but I've been putting her in it since she was 2 weeks, and 6.5lbs.Cons: It's a little stretchier than I'd like it to be. Also, when Baby is screaming, it feels like it takes forever to put on.Pros: Baby loves being in it. Even if she's screaming, she will almost always settle down within about 5 minutes of being put in it. And then she usually falls asleep in it. Sometimes it seems almost magical. Fabric is sturdy but stretchy June 14, 2017 Fabric is sturdy but stretchy. I wear my 10 lb baby walking around at work and she tends to sag a bit low after about an hour, which then pulls on my shoulders. Also it's a bit too hot for summer days. But I like having her close to me. She nestles right in and falls asleep. I still use it. It would be nice if there were different sizes. I'm 160 lbs and this is a bit too long. It would be way too long for a slender and/or small breasted lady. On the other hand, it is too short for larger women. Good purchase! March 22, 2017 Used this quite often when my son was smaller, now that he's 20lbs the fabric seems to be a little too thick & makes both of us sweat (granted, I am in south Florida) It held up with regular washes, was comfy to wear for longer periods & I liked the stretch it has. 2 downfalls, there is a TON of fabric, I'm 5'10" 165lbs & I still have plenty when I've finished tying it & it does take a while to get the hang of wrapping it. Overall I would recommend, definitely worth the price! Good purchase, would buy again. Helps baby to nap. September 21, 2016 Works as it should, exactly as I expected. The wrap is soft and my baby falls asleep in it very easily. This is hugely helpful for getting him to nap. I think this is a great purchase for the price. It is a little complicated as are all wraps in this style. You have to consider the time of year you are putting a baby in it, he gets very warm and a sweaty in it in 75 degree weather. You can tighten and loosen it. | 9% Best diaper for small babies May 18, 2016 Both my kids seemed to do best in Pampers and Swaddlers are especially great for the first few months as they hold a lot of liquid AND they have that awesome yellow line that turns blue so you can see how full they are. They are also the most expensive type of Pampers diapers, and while this was fine with my first who was a small baby, it wasn't so much with my second who was big (moved up in sizes very fast). While Swaddlers now run up to a size 6 and are the best diaper in terms of fit, absorbency and softness on the skin it is more affordable to move to Cruisers after a size 3. Pampers Mom here ... February 10, 2016 With my newest baby, I've found that Pampers is just working better for us. No leaks as long as I do my part properly (I.e. not leaving a butt cheek out) and have the sizing right. I don't have much to complain about, aside from the fact that some of the wetness indicators seem to be more sensitive than others. Sometimes I'd see the line fill blue from front to back, but the diaper is nearly bone dry, and other times the diaper could be bloated beyond belief but the line is still yellow. As the rest of the diaper functions perfectly, and this is only a tacked on feature, I only docked one star for the lack of quality control over this feature. Additionally, as parents, we don't actually really need a colored line to tell us when to change the baby's diaper anyway.P.S. I tested several diapers, pouring the same amount of liquid in the same spot, and one diaper didn't turn, while all the others did. The faulty diaper ended up taking twice as much liquid to indicate wetness, and it still only slightly turned blue. I can't believe I'm writing a diaper review....... December 29, 2015 Well, I have finally reached that stage in my life where I find myself writing diaper reviews.....if you are reading this you must be at that stage in your life too. Congratulations! We have twins so buying bulk diapers on the cheap is critical. It's also critical for us that the diapers work well and we don't have dual drippy, ooozy, horrible messes ambling around our house!!! These diapers work the best for us, they seem to fit our kids butts well and they hold an amazing amount of you know what, which is also important because with two of them we can't always get there immediately! The blue line wetness indicator is great, but if you take a lot of family pictures you'll look back and wish you had given your kids fresh diapers before the pictures because the blue line is a dead giveaway that your kid needed changing and you have documented it in the photo!I try to make my reviews engaging and useful. Mostly for the soft feeling they have compared to some other major brands. These were also the one's that they used in the hospital and I was quite worried about that since I hadn't had the chance to feel the materials. I would give this product 5 stars, but there were too many times that I had to hand rinse and wash clothing due to some leaking when she has a bowel movement. I never expected it to happen, but I will say that these are much better at stopping the leaking than the other top brands I have tried. | 14% Good for a changing table or to convert a dresser November 23, 2016 We bought this as a thicker, more comfortable changing pad than the thin one that came with our changing table. It fits that bill very well, and fits right on the table with a little bit of extra room around the sides. The straps are stitched directly to the back of this pad, so I ended up simply replacing the ones that came attached to the table, and it seems to be working so far. A standard size pad cover fit on this just fine even with the extra height (presumably why it's a little narrower than the other one). All in all, does just what we needed, and would work very well for someone setting up a normal dresser or table as a changing station. good contour pad August 21, 2016 I have to say it is so convenient to have this changing pad and it is really great for diaper changing and powdering for my baby.The contoured sides and a set of straps with buckle to make sure your child in securely while on the table, that give me great confident of protecting my baby from rolling off. And the straps can attach the pad to the dresser or table. So the total thing is secure. The fabric is kinda plastic-y feeling, so it doesn't absorb any grossness that might occur during diaper changes and it wipes clean. I like the safety strap feature for extra peace of mind when dealing with a wiggly baby. Mine didn't have a weird chemical smell at all, so not sure what the other reviewers are talking about there....maybe I just got lucky or they changed materials since then. Overall, I think it's a great value. Good Value, Works Well November 30, 2015 After seeing the prices the big box stores wanted for a changing table pad, we ran to Amazon. We picked this up for about 50% of the big box cost.So far we've gone through two of these pads and have been pleased. With both, we have only noticed a slight plastic smell that many other reviewers mentioned. Nothing overwhelming. We've found this pad works perfectly well and does seem to fit all standard covers.To answer some common questions:- The pad measures 31 1/2" long by 16" wide (see photos)- There is a set of straps to securely buckle your child in while on the table, and a third strap for securing (with a screw) the pad to the dresser or table. There are no "grips" on the bottom of the pad. Because of its plastic outside, it's actually quite slick when placed on a hard surface.- We've had no problems fitting several different standard covers, from different makers, to this padBe aware that, while the plastic itself is waterproof, the "quilted" perforations in the cover appear to let liquid soak in. I happened to be changing my son while our covers were being washed and he had a blowout. I cleaned up the poo immediately and expected it to wash away. But as you can see (photos attached), some of it seems to have gotten through and permanently stained the pad. Obviously a perfect storm of events for that to happen, but wanted to point it out.Overall a good purchase, especially for the price. Must Have Changing Pad for a Great Price June 14, 2015 This changing pad is great for the price and quality. It fits nicely on top of a changing table or dresser and the contoured sides help give peace of mind that baby can't just roll oven the edge (but this doesn't mean you should leave your baby unattended!). Easy to clean material of you have an accident that soaks through the changing pad cover.Any standard sized changing pad cover will fit over this. I've purchased summer infant brand covers, as well as other brands of changing pad covers and they all fit well.I took away one star because of how slippery this pad is. With or without a cover, it can easily slide all over the top of the dresser that we have it placed on. It would be nice if there was some sort of rubber strip or spot on the bottom, in the middle, so that it is non-slip.Besides the above reasoning, I still think this is a great purchase for anyone in need of a changing pad. It's a great price and I would recommend to any new parent looking for an affordable and nice quality changing pad. Nice, but stinky initially June 19, 2013 Yes, some of them do have a residual smell and it does stink if you put your nose to it. I let it air out and it's fine now. It's a nice pad. I think it's the right 'plushness' as it's not too soft that you can't do anything with it but not too hard that the poor child is freaking out.I sewed my own cover for it by just tracing it on extra fabric I had. Any spills and I just wash the cover and wipe that sucker off, I appreciate how easy it is to clean. Fits well in my changing table and I like the contoured sides. Good price for it being new.Update:After using this for 4 months, here's what I've noticed-It gets much softer after being used for a while, but still keeps its shape-If you don't have a cover and use it, be careful of getting anything from the diaper on it. The texturing has a design of tiny circles that are depressed and baby messes easily get in them and will dry without you knowing. They're small enough to where you can't get it clean with a wet wash cloth unless you really scrub. It's uncomfortable to tied it outside (too long scarf), moreover when a baby get bigger, you should tied it very hard otherwise baby will slide to hips. And after the walk with my heavy baby, the baby skin was covered with red marks from sling (material should be tied strong because it's so streach and when you walk baby slide down with the time) And it's not good with jacket or coat, should be use only in summer, warm weather. However when it's summer too hot, you will sweet in this sling as well as a baby.To sum up, the sling is good, maybe it's just not my type. It is comfy one you tied it correctly but takes too long in my opinion. | 4% Snowy Blowouts August 25, 2017 We've used swaddlers since my twins were born. We switched to baby dry for a month and came back to these. I liked baby dry much better. My kids aren't heavy wetters, but white pieces of the diaper would be disintegrated on their bums an hour after their last change. This is also the only diaper I ever have issues with my twins having blowouts in. I'm also not a fan of how amazon hikes up and drops the prices throughout the month. I like baby dry better, but I'll probably just switch to luvs because of the price thing. We go through two big boxes of diapers a month, so price and reliability are huge factors for me. Just okay July 18, 2017 I ordered these Pampers diapers when they were on sale not too long ago. The hospitals here use Pampers Swaddlers so I thought they worked well in the hospital they should be great. Well, I wasn't the biggest fan of these. These diapers were not the same quality as the diapers that were used in the hospital they were actually thinner than normal and didn't seem to hold much. I also noticed that the diapers were not as soft as normal. I would purchase these again if they were on sale, but as far as paying normal price I would rather stick to my huggies. This issue is that my baby is well within the weight on size ones at 11.5 pounds and I ordered a ton of these diapers and they are too small. I have to get the next size up. They're not as soft and for my belly sleeper they just don't hold up sadly.I gave the Up and Up ones a shot and found that they smell better, are cheaper, softer and hold up for 6 hours of belly sleeping so for now I'll be using those. | 6% Looks like a great changing pad June 22, 2017 I compared the size of this product to the one I already own, and it appeared they should be the same size, 16x32, so I was assuming all of my changing pad covers would work on this. Not the case, it seems to be a couple inches longer and my PB changing pad covers do not fit this thing, when they are designed for a 16x32 pad... I haven't pulled a tape measure out to see which one lies about the size, but I'm guessing it's this one since it is the odd one out. Looks like a great changing pad, but disappointed about the size discrepancy. About as expected for the price. July 30, 2016 This is about what I expected. This was one of the least expensive contoured changing pads available and if I were to purchase another one, I would consider going up to something a little better. The outer fabric doesn't seems to stand a little above the inner pad around the contoured sides. The bottom, which they say is non skid doesn't seem to be non skid at all and it freely slides on top of the dresser I have it on. It does have a connector for attaching to a table or dresser but requires a screw to be attached to the back of the dresser. This will keep the pad from falling off the dresser but it will still slide back and forth on the dresser (how much depends on exactly how it was attached). This would be so much better if the bottom was more non skid. I may look into some type of velcro attachments to fix it to one spot better. Holes in the side June 27, 2016 I ordered this as a 'package already opened'. When I received this there were holes in the side of the changing pad, I ordered this knowing the package would be opened however I was not aware there were holes in the product. The product itself seems like its good quality and it fits in our changing table. I'd give it a better review if it came with no holes. Too big for 2 out of 2 changing tables May 18, 2016 Sad that this is advertised as fitting most changing tables... it is about 2 inches longer than the average changing table is. We have 2 different changing tables in the house and this is too big for both of them. Worst part is that it is a great changing pad. Water proof/resistant material and the wings on the side hold baby in well. I wanted to give this 5 stars but it's lucky to get what it is getting. I don't like when companies advertise so shady. It makes for bad customer experiences. Great changing pad with the exception of the straps December 17, 2015 This changing pad is decently padded and easy to clean. I gave it 3 stars just because of the straps. I know they are there for safety's sake but we never leave the baby on the changing table anyway. We just had the pad on the top of our babies dresser and the straps ended up really doing a number on the wood.We tried putting a blanket over the dresser to prevent any more damage and this just led to the changing table sliding all over the place. There is no where to put the straps away when not in use. I ended up ripping the straps off of ours and would recommend anyone buying this do the same. Thick changing pad but beware - it slides around October 14, 2013 We are having our third child in a few weeks and I purchased this changing pad as a replacement for a worn out one I bought 5 years ago.The old one had two straps (one on each end) that would secure it to our changing table, and I expected this Summer Infant one to be the same. Unfortunately, it has just one strap in the middle of the pad that secures it with a screw to the changing table. It slides all over the place and does not feel secure at all. I worry that with a wiggly baby it won't stay in place.It is a nice cushy changing pad, however, I was disappointed that there is only one strap to secure it, rather than the two my old one had.One the bright side, it was fairly easy to secure to the table, and it seems to be nice and cushy for the baby. September 7, 2016 I thought these were going to be my favorite diapers but they have proven to be my least favorite. My first issue is that they SMELL, there is a scent in them that I think is suppose be 'fresh' but every time my baby so much as tinkles it smell horrible, because of these diaper I feel like my daughter stinks pretty much all the time. Hate the smell. Second and maybe even most important is the way the legs are cut, there is no indenting for her thighs, it is straight cut from belly button to back which makes them fit poorly. I will be going back to huggies Used to be great, not anymore. October 21, 2015 I'm so disappointed with the new "redesigned" pampers. They feel thinner, cheaper, and smell like chemicals. They have the new 3 channel absorbency system but these diapers sag so much more now than they used to. We have used pampers swaddlers since my daughter was born and now, at 18 months, we're switching to Huggies. My daughter has also had a pretty constant diaper rash since these were changed, mild, but always there. Makes me sad because I looooved the swaddlers! I don't recommend them to anyone anymore. November 9, 2013 I used Huggies (size 1,2, and 3) with my first girl and realized she had too many leaks, so I changed to pampers (cruisers size 3, and 4) and they were awesome! So this time with my second girl I started using pampers since the beginning (size newborn, 1, and 2,) but she got a constant rash and I thought maybe it was me doing something wrong, but no! I change her diaper as soon as she wets the diaper. Anyway, I realized that the diaper is so scratchy inside! Outside is super soft, but the interior is horrible, really! I put the interior of the diaper against my face for a few seconds and it gave me an itchy rash for several minutes. I felt so bad! How can a baby be comfortable on these! I really urge you to try to put this diaper against your face or elbow and feel what your baby is feeling 24 hours on their little bumps; if you had to use diapers 24 hours you would not want something like this. Soft and fits changing pad. As other reviewers have ... March 18, 2016 Soft and fits changing pad. As other reviewers have made mention, there is a stain where there is a hole in the bag. There is a round hole that exposes part of it so you can touch it and feel how soft it is. This circle or hole exposes it enough so it gets a blackish stain in that area, which happens to be right in the middle of it. Does not come out with washing. I'll keep it for the price but would not order again. Tiny holes means this changing pad DOES NOT WIPE CLEAN March 6, 2016 Tiny holes in the quilted plastic are impossible to clean! If baby pees or poops while being changed, it gets into the tiny holes and DOES NOT WIPE CLEAN easily. This sort of defeats the purpose of a changing pad. Look for a changing pad without tiny holes! I had one of these for my son a few years back and it held up so well that I bought another for my new baby. The quality seems to be less. It is so light that unless you bolt it to the dresser (Who wants a hole drilled in your nice furniture??) it just slips and slides right off, especially with a kicking and active baby. I have had it for six months and was just changing the cover on it and noticed the pad has turned yellow all over (this is not dirt, we have had no accidents on it!). These are garbage. September 12, 2016 Complete garbage, threw half the box away. The seams on the edges of the pad portion, that are folded in, we're melted to the center of the diaper on 90% of them, so the diaper couldn't be opened without force and alittle strategic tearing. This caused little bit of very thin plastic to be attached and fairly loose in the center of the diapers that if you didn't take the time to sit there it pluck at the bits for a couple minutes, then plastic wold rub lose and get up in spots it shouldn't. I ended up premptively correcting and prepping diapers for about 2 hours before I got infuriated and through the rest away apart from a few I put in the bottom of my potted plants. Save your money; avoid these August 30, 2016 I wish I'd read some of the negative reviews prior to throwing away my money on these diapers, sigh... I bought these for my newborn, since the Pampers swaddlers were the best and most effective diapers we'd tried of what was gifted at the shower. On opening these, I was concerned because the tabs on these are yellowed and don't have the strong Velcro hold that the others did. After barely 20 minutes of wear, my son felt damp, and when I checked, there was no change from yellow to blue on the indication line and somehow that minimal amount of urine seemed to be escaping through the diaper. Not out the sides, like when worn improperly, but through the actual seat of the diaper. Total waste. Diapers leak every night! June 4, 2016 I've been using Pampers Swaddlers for both my kids since they were born. My daughter is potty trained but still needs to wear diapers at night. My son 15 months and still wearing diapers all the time. Luckily they both need the same size. I'd recently started ordering diapers in the biggest size available, size 6. Every night without fail, my son's diaper leaks. This has never ever been an issue with the swaddlers in the past. Even my daughter's diapers has leaked a couple of times. I've tried to limit their liquid intake a couple of hours before bedtime but this has not helped. I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch but I am very disappointed with the quality, especially considering how expensive they are. Design Change = Leaks September 3, 2015 We have used Pampers Swaddlers for our son since he was born 9 months ago. They have been great- until the most recent box that we purchased. It looks as though there was a design change on the diapers. The new diapers are much thinner and scratcher than the previous ones. Every night that we have had my son in the new version, he's woken up soaked in urine in the morning. This has not happened with any of the Swaddlers that he has worn before- and doesn't happen when we use the diapers from the previous box of Swaddlers size 4 that were the older version.
