can carry my baby for hours
August 24, 2016
Wish I had had this with all my kids. I bought this because it looked like a more comfortable way to carry my baby and it is. Once you have the hang of it it literally takes less than a minute to put on and putting baby in it is super easy. My baby sleeps while I shop or go for a walk. Plus it saves my back. I can only carry my baby (10 lbs.) for a little while in my arms before my back hurts but I've carried him for well over an hour in the Moby and been fine. I think because the weight is distributed more evenly and the position is similar to when I was pregnant so I had them built up already.Anyways, I'd recommend this product to everyone who is going to have a baby.
Recommended for those into babywearing!

I'm a fan of the Moby. I looked into several different wraps while pregnant before making my decision. It does take some practice, but once you've got it it's not bad at all. Watched several videos online that made it a lot easier than the instructions given with the wrap. There are several ways to use it, used it with my newborn at 7lbs and am still using it with my 4 month old at 14lbs (with legs out.) It calms her and she usually falls asleep while wrapped, staying close to mommy all the while. A big help while grocery shopping and/or getting things done around the house. It is a little cumbersome with the large fabric draping on the ground while putting it on and the fabric is a little hot in the summer but that's my only complaint. Usually put wrap on before leaving home and then put baby in after arriving at destination.
This carrier offers several different ergonomic ways to carry that are comfortable for both mom and baby
August 17, 2015
I purchased this Moby Wrap while I was pregnant with my son and I couldn't wait to use it. It's a long and wide piece of cotton fabric so being new to baby-wearing, I was a little overwhelmed by it but after watching a few tutorials on youtube, I was ready to give it a try. This carrier offers several different ergonomic ways to carry that are comfortable for both mom and baby. The fabric is very soft and breathable. It used it a lot and washed it multiple times and it held up well. I eventually moved to a buckle carrier for my toddler but I loved the Moby Wrap for the newborn/infant stage. I recommend to others and would purchase again for myself. Shipping was fast and it was packaged well.
I had heard great things about the Moby Wrap
February 18, 2015
I had been skeptical about using a wrap with my baby, as I had always just used a front pack but with my third I needed a way to carry him around while keeping up with my other two and he was too young for the front pack I had. I had heard great things about the Moby Wrap, and I ended up loving it. It was a great hands free way to carry him around, and he always seemed so comfortable in it. Though I love it, there are a few things to keep in mind:*There is so much fabric. My son was born in the winter, so I primarily used it in the winter/spring. I cannot imagine using this when it is hot out as the fabric would have probably become unbearably warm. Also, I am rather short so I always ended up having to wrap the fabric several times around me so I didn't have extra hanging off at the end.*After reading reviews I knew there would be a bit of a learning curve, so I read the directions several times, even watched a youtube video before trying it, even after all that the first few times were frustrating. But (because of the reviews) I kept trying, and I'm so glad I did. Once I got the hang of it, the Moby was easy to use and my son loved being carried around in it.
Moby before baby
September 6, 2013
I decided to get this before our baby is born so I could practice before she's here. I watched a few videos on youtube and that was helpful. For fit- its pretty good as I tried with a stuffed animal and I feel she will be secure. I always hear good things from everyone I ask- I work in retail and this is the most common baby carrier I see. I cant wait until she's here and I can keep her close to me.I recommend it especially for winter/flu season (of course any season too, summer this may be a little warm though)- when you go shopping people think they can touch the baby or move the car seat cover and its so rude, with this it keeps the baby in personal space and you can block people from contact or germs easier. :D I am sure with time and practice it will be quicker and easier to use- hopefully I am a pro by the time she is here!I do not have any complaints for this item- other than how long it is for washing- its like 10 feet long! I do have a washer without the center agitator- so I wont have an issue but for the people who do maybe want to use some kind of washable laundry bag. It is nice that once you get it wrapped once across the back its easier to move and keep folded- there are many ways to wear and use this and the instructions come with it.
I Love My Moby Wrap - A Must- Have for Moms - Don't Give Up
November 16, 2012
I remember being two months pregnant, and I saw a picture of a friend using a Moby wrap for their newborn. I had no idea what a Moby wrap was at the time, but the baby looked so snug that I decided I needed one. Fast forward several months, and I had a Moby wrap for my new baby girl. Once she hit 8 lbs (which did not take long), I put her in the newborn hold. She hated it! She cried and struggled in it.I was so discouraged because I wanted to be a babywearing mom. I was envious of those moms that enjoyed wearing their babies around. I tried a few more time different days and still she would scream. Then I read a tip saying for the baby to be comfortable, you must be a confident baby wearer. So the next time I put her in the cradle hold, I was confident and told myself that it was going to work. She fussed, but I just patted her butt and moved around. Sure enough she enjoyed it and even fell asleep. She continued to enjoy being worn, even though she was fussy at first.Once she hit three months, I started to wear her in a different position. She loves to be worn facing me, and this is probably why she fussed when put in the newborn hold - she just wanted to stretch her legs and see what was going on. Now I wear her whenever we are out or whenever she is having a fussy time, and it works like a charm.People always comment about how calm and comfortable she looks. I love that this wrap allows her to look around and explore her world and then be tucked in when she is tired. She will nap 2-3 hours in this position if I let her. Another plus of the wrap is that people do not touch her, which is always nice, since it is germ season.Get this Moby wrap and watch a few free videos. I didn't have a lot of success when it was perfectly folded. Instead, if I just scrunch the fabric and tie it around and it works great. My husband also wears this Moby wrap comfortably and enjoys wearing her while playing video games.

Great carrier
August 25, 2017
So I'm kind of a fanatic when it comes to baby carriers. I probably have for structured baby carriers and two other soft cloth baby carriers. My baby up to around three or four months, this is by far one of my favorites. I also have the Moby which is pretty much the same thing and I paid way more for it than I did with this one. I highly recommend it to any new mom and I love that it comes with a DVD to show you how to use it. They can be really complicated and sometimes hard to figure out, but having it with instructions is very very helpful.

Very comfortable wrap. I still need a little practice to get it just right on myself, but was easy to wrap it on my husband. Would make a really nice baby shower gift or to use while traveling. Fabric is thick enough to make you feel that baby is secure, but not so thick that you get hot and sweaty. Comes with an instruction DVD
Buy it!

Just had my second child last week and being a mom of two has been trying. I feel like I never have enough hands and I'm always too busy nursing or soothing my newborn to tend to my oldest. I decided to order this wrap after looking at the options and I am SO happy I did! It arrived in the mail today and I looked up a tutorial on YouTube to help me get it on, put my baby right in (with the help of my husband), and hours later: I'm in love! I was able to be up walking around while he nursed, and he knocked out immediately after. I had to wake him up myself to change and eat after almost 2 1/2 hours. I'm excited to see what a huge help this should be in public also! Love, love, love.

This baby sling is made very well the cloth is very very soft I bought this as a baby shower gift for my cousin he was expecting soon and when she opened this her face lit up the fact that it comes with an instructional DVD Definitely helps because you have to learn how to securely place your infant in one of these but we are both very proud and happy with this purchase shipping was very reasonable

I love this! It has easy to follow instructions on how to wear it. The fabric is soft jersey knit and stretchy, but not so stretchy your kid will fall out! I am a little disappointed that grey was the only color, but I am happy that the cost isn't high. It doesn't make me or the baby hot and is comfortable for both of us.
So Amazing!
August 3, 2016
Just came this morning and I already Love it!!! Got it on the first time trying and my 3 week old loves it! Bought it so I could comfortably carry our newborn at my husbands High School Reunion. So easy to use! Very stretchy. I have a large chest and am a plus size woman and it works well for me!

Great, but not for me..
June 21, 2017
This wrap is great and all, but it wasn't for me. I'm still giving it 4 stars because the quality of the wrap was great and it has a lot of potential, but it's just not for me. It takes a bit of time to put on properly so taking it on outdoor trips was just out of the question for me. I stuck with the ergobaby adapt carrier.
Moby VS Ktan
March 25, 2017
This review reflects my own unbiased opinion and experience with the Moby VS the Baby K'Tan. I purchased both with my own money.Moby:Pros:-Instantly makes a crying baby go to sleep. Baby was very, very cozy in there.-Two side panels of newborn "hug" position allows to secure baby's head quite well against your chest. Better then the K'Tan can.-Because of the design and how you wrap it, baby ends up being very, very snug in there. Very well supported.-Very comfortable.Cons:-Suuuuuper long fabric does not make this a travel friendly wrap. If I wanted to take the baby to the store, I'd have to put the wrap on before leaving the house, then put baby in it once in the parking lot. The fabric is simply too long to don it in the parking lot.-Multiple fabric panels results in a very warm environment. I found baby had to be in a short sleeved onesie to maintain normal temp. This is in February, in Washington State, where it is chilly outside.-The long fabric design is also cumbersome when you want to put it on quickly at home (to soothe a screaming baby for example)Ultimately, I ended up purchasing a Baby K'Tan because i wanted something quicker and simpler to take on and off, and that was "put on in the parking lot" friendly. The K'Tan also makes my infant fall asleep very quickly. It is very easy to put on in under a minute but it is not as comfortable as my moby. Her head is not as well supported so I tend to have to keep one hand on her head if I am active while wearing it. I like that the K'Tan comes in Active and Breeze, which incorporates a mesh fabric that makes the whole thing a lot cooler to wear.Bottom line:Both are greatBoth put infant to sleep in very snug environmentMoby is more comfortable and I feel a bit more secure for baby, but a bigger pain to put on and not travel friendlyK'Tan is slightly less comfy, slightly less stable then the moby but compensates for that by being super convenient to put on and off.I will probably keep both, although I find myself using my K'Tan more.
I really like this wrap
September 28, 2016
I really like this wrap. My baby felt much more secure in it than in the Ergo carrier, especially as a newborn. There is a learning curve, but it's really not that difficult to get the hang of, especially if you use it regularly (not necessarily daily, just regularly enough to remember how to wrap it).The only issue I had with it was that I never quite got it snug enough around my body. What I mean is, my baby felt secure in the wrap itself, but I could rarely get him at the right height. And when I did, it seemed like the material would loosen or stretch out after a time and eventually I'd realize he was lower on my torso by a few inches. I think it's because there's soooo much material, and it crisscrosses the body so many times, it's hard to make sure that it's tight enough to maintain the correct height. I really like the idea of it being able to fit any size person, so my husband could use it, too. But I think that's probably one of its faults as well.Overall, though, I was very happy with it. It was irritating to have to re-tighten and re-tie the wrap as often as I did, but I used the hell out of it and being able to do other s*** while also carrying my son was totally worth the minor inconvenience.
Lovely, but wish it was a little tighter
March 18, 2016
I had read some of the reviews on this particular moby before I purchased it and remember one person saying that it seemed a bit too stretchy. Well, I'm having a similar issue. I'll get the moby on nice and tight with my little one, but then once I start walking around my little one inevitably slips further and further down on my chest toward my belly. I don't think he will fall out, but it just doesn't feel as supportive as it claims to be. Perhaps it's time to wash it and see if the fabric shrinks back up to a tighter hold... Though, it came out of the package this way (i.e. a bit too stretchy).I DO love the color and design on this one, though the flowers are only painted on (I thought they were embroidered when I first saw the pic).*One thing I love is to check out YouTube for lots of interesting moby wrapping ideas! There are a LOT more ways to enjoy using a moby than I originally knew! :)
An ancient expedient gets a great technological upgrade.
January 3, 2014
Women have been wrapping a long piece of cloth about their waste and shoulders to create a sling for their little ones since the art of weaving began. But that was just a technological upgrade from a large piece of cured animal hide. Like the concept of family itself some ideas are permanent, and this is one of them. I can envision using some method similar to this wonderful fabric device 200 years from now. All that will have changed will be the nature of the fabric (carbon nanofibers?) and perhaps the geometry of the cloth. This product is as simple as it looks. It is just one long piece of tough, somewhat stretchy microfiber that can be washed in cold water and dried in the dryer. I was initially skeptical, but one simply wraps it around the waste, then the shoulders and then the waste yet again to form a pouch in the front where baby’s legs dangle to the sides and her bum rests in a snug pocket. The instructions on how to tie this wrap securely are very clear and easy to follow, and there is a YouTube video. The result is that baby faces mom or dad in a position and place not unlike that they assumed prior to their debut among humanity (well with the exception that they are not upside down as they were when womb wrapped). You will be somewhat insecure at first (hey that is the hallmark of parenting) that baby might slip asunder. Wear baby around the house for a while in the sling and it will become natural. You will be able to perform at least some of your daily tasks while baby dangles contentedly in front of you. The sling accommodates babies from 8 to 35 lbs. The lower limit is to assure a bum big enough to stay put in the sling. The upper limit. Well let’s get real. Do you want to carry more than that on your chest? If you are just too insecure to use such a simple method as a single piece of cloth there are plenty of other devices with shoulder straps and a well formed baby pocket, but you might try this first as it is fun, easy and intimate. Four stars? It could be a bit longer. It would be nice if it could be washed in warm water. I think it probably could be but the manufacturer does not want to risk shrinkage.
An essential, for us, and not that difficult to use.
November 1, 2011
My husband and I love the Moby! I was intimidated by the wrapping at first, but after I practiced a couple times and watched the video on their website, I've got it down. Our daughter is one of those "don't put me down...ever" babies, so this has saved us. Much more comfortable to wear than the Baby Bjorn we used for our first child (the BB made our shoulders pretty sore), and our daughter much prefers to be in the Moby as opposed to the BB. I just wish it were as quick to put on as the BB is, and that it were as easy to store. 18' of fabric still drags on the ground, even when draped over the top of a door.I'm a nursing mom and I've nursed with the Moby on. It can easily serve as a modesty drape, but it's far easier to use if you're wearing a nursing top.We bought two Mobys: one with the owl pattern and the plain blue one. The blue one still feels a bit stiff (not necessarily in a bad way) and has stayed close to its original size. The owl pattern Moby feels softer but has shrunk enough that it's hard for my husband (5'11" 175 lbs) to wear it.One more thing: changing a baby in a public bathroom stall is much easier with a Moby because when you're done you can plunk the baby in, gather your stuff, and both of your hands are free for washing (much better and safer than the baby-juggle-while-one-hand-washes-itself technique).I would buy one again, and I would definitely give this as a baby shower gift.

Baby loves being in it!
July 6, 2017
It took me a few days of using the wrap to get used to tying it right, and so that I felt confident about being hands free. For reference, my baby is 3 weeks old, and 7lbs, but I've been putting her in it since she was 2 weeks, and 6.5lbs.Cons: It's a little stretchier than I'd like it to be. Also, when Baby is screaming, it feels like it takes forever to put on.Pros: Baby loves being in it. Even if she's screaming, she will almost always settle down within about 5 minutes of being put in it. And then she usually falls asleep in it. Sometimes it seems almost magical.
Fabric is sturdy but stretchy
June 14, 2017
Fabric is sturdy but stretchy. I wear my 10 lb baby walking around at work and she tends to sag a bit low after about an hour, which then pulls on my shoulders. Also it's a bit too hot for summer days. But I like having her close to me. She nestles right in and falls asleep. I still use it. It would be nice if there were different sizes. I'm 160 lbs and this is a bit too long. It would be way too long for a slender and/or small breasted lady. On the other hand, it is too short for larger women.
Good purchase!
March 22, 2017
Used this quite often when my son was smaller, now that he's 20lbs the fabric seems to be a little too thick & makes both of us sweat (granted, I am in south Florida) It held up with regular washes, was comfy to wear for longer periods & I liked the stretch it has. 2 downfalls, there is a TON of fabric, I'm 5'10" 165lbs & I still have plenty when I've finished tying it & it does take a while to get the hang of wrapping it. Overall I would recommend, definitely worth the price!
Good purchase, would buy again. Helps baby to nap.
September 21, 2016
Works as it should, exactly as I expected. The wrap is soft and my baby falls asleep in it very easily. This is hugely helpful for getting him to nap. I think this is a great purchase for the price. It is a little complicated as are all wraps in this style. You have to consider the time of year you are putting a baby in it, he gets very warm and a sweaty in it in 75 degree weather. Glad it is starting to cool down so I can use this to calm him more often.
Good wrap for the price.
August 10, 2016
I love using this wrap. It holds baby close and soothes him to sleep. It's very easy to use and its good for the price. This is the wrap I use at home. I use a little more expensive wrap when I take baby out.
I love this carrier
July 8, 2016
I love this carrier! It is very thin and stretchy which is great, especially because I live in Florida where it gets very hot and humid. I have been using the wrap with my infant and it is very comfortable to carry her in. You can tighten and loosen it.

Great in theory tough in practicality
March 19, 2017
This wrap caught my attention as a solution to carrying my child all the time. I love the fabric and the convenient pouch it came in. The instruction booklet was provided; however, I am embarrassed to say I still had trouble using this product without the assistance of another adult and even then we were both confused on whether we had done it correctly. My son screams when I put him in it which I feel is more his discomfort with been tied down than a product issue. I think it would be an awesome product if I could easily use it!
Wrap is good quality but I can't get it right enough
July 8, 2016
Wrap is good quality but I can't get it right enough. After wearing baby in it for a little bit it gets very loose. Its very long and there's so much extra fabric left over.
I wanted to love it but unfortunately there are a few downsides
April 27, 2016
Beautful color, very soft. I wanted to love it but unfortunately there are a few downsides. Takes a lot of practice to get the hang of how to use it, which isn't a huge deal, but even once you know what you are doing, it's not always easy to get just the right snugness. Lots of fabric to deal with. Too hot for warmer weather. If you are looking for something similar I highly recommend the Baby K'tan- same concept without all the wrapping and extra fabric to deal with. I will keep to use with baby #2 during newborn stage. However, after much trial and error, I have found that a ring sling is the easiest to use and most versatile.
I wanted to love the Moby
December 1, 2014
I wanted to love the Moby, but in the end it was simply too large and cumbersome to be usable. I used it around the house a bit when my daughter was a newborn, but once she stopped wanting to sleep on me it because useless. I found that getting it prepped not only took time, but the fabric is so long that you basically sweep half your floor while doing it. That was not a procedure I wanted to conduct in the parking lot of Target.I ended up buying an Ergo a few months later and used that instead. Much quicker to put on, though it took a bit longer for her to grow into it. I toss her in the Moby every once in awhile to see if she will still tolerate it, but overall she is tired of being attached to me.
Not for us
October 1, 2014
I ordered a Moby Wrap to try with my twin babies. My impression was that it is simply too complicated and a hassle to use, it is just a lot of material to wrap around yourself, it falls to the floor when wrapping it by myself, I never fell it is tight enough, if I need to use the restroom I have to take it off and re-do the whole thing because it simply loosens up too much, etc. The first times I used it my babies enjoyed being in it so I ordered a second one, which I never used because they were uncomfortable so in it and so was I. I thought of going to the grocery store or any other public place and having to bring out this looong piece of material and wrapping it around myself. I ended up returning the unopened wrap and purchasing a Beco carrier instead...much easier to use and I feel my babies are safer and more comfortable in them. I do think that the wrap is great for the first few weeks of a newborns life as it soft and helps them feel secure and close to mom or whoever is carrying them, but in my case once my newborns were over 10lbs, they pretty much hated this wrap. It is a good product and I received my order in great condition, it is just not "the one" for us.
ok
May 26, 2011
this isnt for everyone. i find it way too hot and constricting and wish i'd of bought the other brand one that has a special little bonnet that hooks up to carry and protect baby head. this one is not good for baby like mine who was too small to hold his own head up, but i had bought it. i also dont like the cotton material which collected all my sisters white long cat hairs onto my black moby carrier. it is awkward to tie on and put the baby in quickly and it holds his head at an extremely awkward angle when he falls asleep (within 10 minutes of a walk) with this carrier. it is possible to putt it down over his entire body tho, if he doesnt wiggle/pull it down from his head.I reduced one star because I saw the (expensive) ergo baby carrier and found a better option for the famous 'floppy baby head' syndrome. The moby isn't really good for my baby either because he is a leaner. this is better then trying to carry him, but i find it quite an awkward baby wearing option and do not recommend this product as a method for carrying your child.i may read the manual again soon and see if there are any other carrying methods listed since my little one is now able to hold up his head. we tried reversing his position on the front today, so that he was looking forward and he seemed to like it for about 10 minutes (his current attention span). after that he fell asleep and his head still flopped forward. i was not happy about that because it looked dangerous for his neck. the ergo baby carrier has a head holder/hood, which is way better, despite its higher price i'd willingly pay extra for one multifunctional device. DROP THE STAR.

Once it gets put on right it works fine and the baby feels secure enough
September 20, 2017
We got this wrap because it was cheaper than some other brands out there. It's very long, stretchy, and hard to put on alone (avoid using it in public). Once it gets put on right it works fine and the baby feels secure enough, but may need to be re-tightened. There might be a better wrap out there that's simpler with less material.

September 15, 2017
The quality is good, however be ready to use it only at home!! It's uncomfortable to tied it outside (too long scarf), moreover when a baby get bigger, you should tied it very hard otherwise baby will slide to hips. And after the walk with my heavy baby, the baby skin was covered with red marks from sling (material should be tied strong because it's so streach and when you walk baby slide down with the time) And it's not good with jacket or coat, should be use only in summer, warm weather. However when it's summer too hot, you will sweet in this sling as well as a baby.To sum up, the sling is good, maybe it's just not my type. I use it no more then 5-6 times for 3 months and already book other type. I would not bought it only as alternative and only for home-use
Expensive giant scarf
September 14, 2017
Returned it. Crazy expensive for a long piece of cotton cloth. Worked fine but isn't fast and easy like a ring sling.
Too heavy
December 17, 2016
I found this wrap to be too heavy and cumbersome. The doubling-over is unnecessary. I'm going to return it and try the Cuddle Bug.

Too complicated to put on
June 10, 2017
After purchasing the Moby Wrap I read the enclosed instructions and even watched the how-to videos online. After over a half hour I became so frustrated with trying to get it on correctly and get it secured I gave up. Also, the stitching Moby tag which is used as a reference point when putting the wrap on, came unraveled after the first use. I ended up sending it back. This wrap may be great for some people but I found it too confusing and poorly made.
Try one with your baby before you buy this
September 7, 2016
I found the length of fabric to be a huge pain. Several times after all the shenanigans of getting it wrapped and adjusted, the baby would get it dirty (in any of the several ways a baby might) and off it all came and into the wash went this huge tangle of fabric. Not practical for out and about, but could work at home if you get if figured out and your baby likes it. Mine never really did. . .maybe I wasn't doing the right wrap style for her. In any case, I wish I had borrowed one from a friend or tried it before I bought one. I eventually got a girasol mysol wrap and really love it. When the baby got big enough (around 9 months, 18 pounds ish) we started using the Tula and like that as well.
Too busty, baby just wanted to nurse
June 14, 2016
I know this works really well for some mamas. I'm really busty and found it wasn't comfortable and she just wanted to nurse while that close! It probably would've been great out in public for nursing but we didn't leave much when she was little. We found other carriers that didn't put her eye level at bust level that worked better for us.I like the way the wrap snuggles babies very nice and cozy. Comfy stretchy yet sturdy fabric feels nice while wearing. Once you get the wrap around your body it gets easier to remember how it's worn.
Thought it would be great, but not so much
February 4, 2013
I bought this since other Mom's I know raved about it. First I paid $50 for what is basicly a HUGE piece of heavy fabric. You then have to practive wrapping this thing around you. It takes time to learn how to wrap it properly. If you want to go any where in public with this thing on you better put it on before you leave the house since you will never figure it out once you are away from a mirror. My daughter cried EVERY time I put her in this. She didn't like it at all. The two times I did get her to calm down and stay in it she got over heated quickly even though she was just wearing a onesie. This material is so thick and having that on the baby plus your body heat and your baby will be cooking! I gave up and returned it and so did some of the ladies I know after they had the same issue. Great idea, but huge fail. Not to mention if you really want to try this buy some fabric and wrap it around yourself for less then half the cost.
Loooooong learning curve..

My daughter is still settling down from 3 failed attempts. I am a very coordinated guy. I can figure out anything. I swear I can pack 3 car loads of groceries into one.I watched the videos then tried to get her in. Mind you she is a very quiet baby, cries only for the basics, diaper, hungry ect. First try she was upset, second she was distraught, third she was clearly pissed. If you can figure this out your a genius. God bless you and the week you took to do it.I gave it two stars because I found a wonderful use for it. I cut it up into blanket sizes and the elastic properties make them into wonderful swaddles. Heck I might just by more for that. I mean it is what 15 feet long.
Overly complicated, and uncomfortable.

The Moby Wrap was recommended to me in a parenting class and I was drawn in by the number of ways you could wrap it. Unfortunately, I found that that is where the benefits stop. It is one of those things that is good on paper, but not in practice. It is quite long and very cumbersome to wrap in even the most basic way, and you never seem to get the baby seated properly. It was not through lack of trying that I could not make it work, I was home the first 3 months of my son's life and after 2 months of trying daily, I gave up. The knot makes an uncomfortable lump, the fabric wrapping around you so many times is hot and binding, and the baby is held so close to you it makes them hot too.Plus, the price for what is just a long piece of jersey knit with a serged edge is insulting. Find a Baby Bjorn and do yourself a favor. You may only be able to use it one way, but you arent exhausted by the time you get the baby in it.

Shrinks

Not too happy with this wrap. Washed as directed & laid flat to dry - still shrunk to where I can't fold it in half like recommended to wear. Hate that I wasted $ on this!!

Didn't work for us! My baby hung way too low. He would start out high but end up slowly falling down. Wasn't very comfortable. Maybe I was doing it wrong but waste of money for me
So bulky..not sure about it.
February 10, 2017
I am still trying to figure this out. I can get it on perfectly fine but there is just sooo much material...once I have it on it's just so bulky. Still trying but I think I'm (sadly) going to have to return it.
Not my favorite. Instructions aren't clear.

I've only been able to use this one time. I don't understand the instructions on wrapping it that well. More specifically, I'm not sure at what step I'm supposed to place the baby inside. I've tried it multiple times, but I never felt like my baby was secure in it. I used it one time around the house, but not for longer than 10 minutes before going back to my woven wrap.
Good for feather-weight babies I'm sure

Stretches within minutes of wearing it. Good for feather-weight babies I'm sure, my chunker was in it twice before deemed not even worth the hassle. Sweatshirt material is soft and comfy
I did not feel comfortable putting my baby in it

I don't feel like my baby is safely supported in this wrap. Too much of a hassle and I don't have time to figure it out better.

too difficult to put on and time consuming. I returned it.
not so useful

This is just a fancy long piece of cloth. Very hard to tie and being a new mother I didn't have the time to tie it around plus it seemed uncomfortable for the baby. Rather go for a ready-made infant carrier..A waste of $37...
Waaaaay too much fabric
June 24, 2013
This was way too much fabric. The instructions were confusing (and I looked them up online from the manufacturer's website just to be sure!), and putting the wrap on seemed to require endless adjustment. Not so great when you have a crying newborn waiting to be picked up! I gave up before I could get it adjusted properly, and by that time I felt like I was melting! Way too much fabric to be comfortable. I'm going to try the Baby K'tan instead.
Not for us
August 17, 2011
I was very excited about this modern "rebozo." I thought I would love it. But when it came down to it, my baby HATED it. He cried every time I attempted to put him in. I didn't particularly like it, either. It was hard to put on and I couldn't deal with wrapping so much heavy fabric around me. Once on, it was hot and overall felt like a straight jacket. For the price, I would give it a try, it might work for you as for so many people, apparently. If not, I would recommend an Ergo Baby. (But I can't comment on the newborn insert though, since I got it when my baby was already 6 months old.)

Really wanted to love it! It's lightweight and easy to use, but after using it once tore almost entirely down for no reason! Contacted customer service as it says lifetime warantee, but unsure if I would use it for safety reasons. Will stick to my secure Moby wrap.Update: company reimbursed full purchase price for defective item. Will not repurchase.
Too much work-not for me

We live in Sacramento, CA and get hot summers! The material is too thick and not breathable at all. Aside from that, we need a carrier for when we are on the go and doing errands. The wrap is wayyyyyy to long-even longer because I'm only 5'2. Such an inconvenience to wrap myself around this, than put her in. The fabric is also a little too stretchy. My 2 month old did not feel secure in this at all.I ended up buying the baby k'tan active and me and baby love it!
