Five Star Reviews: | 47% My husband loves these slippers September 29, 2017 My husband loves these. Will be buying again.Men's 4 Seasons Cotton Washable Slippers with Matching Travel Bag for Home Hotel Spa Bedroom, L, Black Great Travel Slippers August 2, 2017 Business and pleasure travel often finds you in unfamiliar hotels with concerns over the true cleanness of the carpet. These slippers are the perfect solution. Storing fairly flat for easy packing. I Use for Travel June 16, 2017 They're for temporary use.I like them much more than the hotel slippers. In that, they are a good buy. Machine Wash!!! June 11, 2017 I go through indoor slippers too quickly because I like to wear them with my bare feet and so they need to be washed. Well I finally found the one I need. The machine wash-ability is the key. Plus it's very comfy. The day after I received this, I spilled a drink on it because I'm a klutz. I needed to do a wash anyway so I threw it in with some clothes and let the dryer dry it. Felt better than when I first wore it. I don't know how long this pair will last but I expect them to significantly longer than the last few because washing them doesn't ruin them. I must stink at handwashing because I usually just destroy the slipper. And it's a nice neutral gray, goes well with my nappy sweats. Perfect for travel! December 4, 2016 I do not like being barefoot on any floor outside of our house, and finally talked my husband into taking them on our trips also. This fit perfectly. Although he wears a 10-1/2 and they are only in even sizes the size 10 works very well. They are lightweight and compact for packing. We had just returned from a trip when I bought these for him, so he hasn't used them much, but has worn them around the house enough to know they fit and will do very nicely. The Much Better Hotel/Spa Slipper February 16, 2016 I bought these for my fiance, who used to take the complimentary slippers from hotels and wear each pair until they were absolutely trashed and had to be thrown away. Needless to say, this is a better alternative. These slippers are similar in style to the disposable hotel/spa ones, but they're thicker, much higher quality, and don't fall apart. Best of both worlds. They fit true to size in his case too. He adores them so much that he wears them nightly! | 68% A great gift for any man in your life who's feet need a good hardsole shoe to wear around the house to relax in September 11, 2017 Gift for my future wife's uncle and she says "Uncle loves them and wears them very often." I forget if it was a Christmas gift for him or birthday gift but either way the uncle enjoys the gift often and fits his feet perfectly. She also inform me that they fit so good never hurts his feet no matter how long wears them around the house. So if your looking for a great relaxing shoe to wear around the house then buy this item for your boyfriend, husband or male relative that could use a gift like this for his own collection, and trust me he will thank you for it. Husband loves them. June 5, 2017 They fit to size, are comfortably padded inside, and have a nice sole that makes them great for letting the dogs out. One Year and Still Going Strong May 10, 2017 I have owned several pairs of Minnetonka Sheep Skin Slippers over the years. Thought I would give the Pile Lined a try. They seem to run a tad bit larger than the sheep skin. Not too much but a little. I still like the sheep skin better but I think these might hold up a little better on the outside. Overall I love them. Will probably buy sheep skin for my next pair.... but these are nice, especially for the price. Excellent Moccasins For Daily Wear April 20, 2017 More expensive than the others listed, but the quality is excellent and they are very comfortable. As with almost all moccasins using leather laces, they work loose no matter what you do. My father-in-law told me he put a drop or two of super glue on the knots and they don't come loose. I tried that and it works great. They seem to be permanently knotted but can break the bond if you need to. Fit to a "T" May 1, 2016 Let me begin my review by confirming that I bought these slippers for my husband; and after two failed attempts at buying him what I'd thought were Minnesota slippers identical to the ones he'd been wearing for "forever", I was really concerned at the reception the latest attempt would receive.. So it is with a sense of relief, and satisfaction I am pleased to confirm that these slippers were a hit right out of the box!! This time I had made a change in colour , from a lighter tan/camel shade to what I thought might be a better colour to make the transition from indoors to out, without looking too "slipper-like". I also opted for a wider fit, because I'd noticed my husband's feet seemed to have spread somewhat with age - or p'raps it is just that he's walking differently. Whatever, these slippers have been extremely well received, and yours truly got a gold star for her trouble! My husband loves his new slippers November 22, 2014 My husband has been reluctant to wear slippers for years. We recently had our fairly new carpet cleaned and he volunteered to remove his shoes when he came in the house so he wouldn't make a mess by tracking in damp fir needles. I was vey appreciative but he commented that his feet were getting cold without his shoes on. I bought several pair of slippers, trying to find the right fit, warmth and style. These are the slippers that met all of the requirements and he loves them! The slippers are well made and very handsom. The best part is that his feet are warm and I don't have to vacuum nearly as often. :-) Thank you Minnetonka for comfy slippers, Amazon for your speedy delivery and great return policy and thank you to all of the reviewers who posted before and helped guild my selection. |
Four Star Reviews: | 21% Four Stars July 19, 2017 Great disposable slippers. I wear a size 10.5 US and ordered the large. It is quite big. They were very comfortable, but somewhat large due to the size ranging May 26, 2017 I bought these for traveling, and I recently used them on a trans-pacific trip. They were very comfortable, but m,y feet swam around in them when I was sitting due to size ranging. I typically wear a US 10, and I wonder if a medium may have been more appropriate than large as these fell off my feet fairly often during the flights. While they were not ridiculously large, a somewhat more snug fit would have been better. The material is soft, and I had no issues with comfort. Comfy, but be ready to Shuffle Shuffle Shuffle around the House June 3, 2016 Way better at keeping themselves together than the previous brand of slippers I bought. They're soft and comfortable. You can keep them on all day, and to clean them all you have to do is throw them in the wash. They are a bit wide, which means you may want to order on the smaller side if it's available because otherwise they kind of slide off a bit as you walk; you have to sort of shuffle around the house when you walk in them. Great product but has only 2 sizes March 2, 2016 This cotton indoor slippers is pretty comfortable to wear especially when you have a cold floor. It has a hard bottom for safety and you can actually wear it without worrying of stepping into sharp objects and get injured. However, it is pretty wide and will be good for people that has wider feet. I do not like the fact that it has only 2 sizes, medium and large. Since my feet is about 9', the slipper is actually longer than my foot. Overall, this is a great product with good price! Quite comfortable, but a bit narrow. January 24, 2016 They're a little bit smaller than I had expected, especially in the width department. I have comically wide feet and these were clearly not made with me in mind. That being said, they're nice and comfortable and make great house slippers. | 20% Fit fine. Shoes are comfy August 5, 2017 I wear 11 1/2, but ordered 12 since they do not have my size. Fit fine. Shoes are comfy, but warm - should be great in cool weather. As noted by others, laces do not stay tied very long. I will glue when worn a bit longer. Solid Moccasin Slipper, My Next Pair Will Be These, Too April 2, 2017 Perhaps my favorite thing is that the laces are mostly exposed around the sides and back of the slipper. This means that I can actually replaces laces when/if they break, unlike so many cheaper moccasin slippers where the lace goes into a long tube, making it nearly impossible.Size: My left foot is about a 11.75 and my right is about an 11.5. I was concerned that they'd be too loose, especially the right one. Fortunately they change size well by adjusting the laces, albeit with a small amount of visible looseness on the sides. Awesome March 27, 2017 I ordered these slippers on a whim and wasn't disappointed. They are really comfortable the hardsole bottom makes them extra durable for walking around my high school's hallways and walking to and from class as well. My only critique is that the color is a bit on the orange side. More than I would like. I was expecting more of a coffee-brown, not orange-brown. Other than that, these are perfect! Fit fine after corrected size ordered September 5, 2016 These were actually a replacement size ( 9 Wide) for original size received as gift (9 Reg). Was able to return gifted pair to Amazon on a gift receipt as they were a bit narrow and reordered corrected size. Was a bit hesitant on the "faux" fur lining promoting sweating but they breath ok.....close to natural lambs wool. Hope to wear them out over several years ! Supremely comfortable--while they last. January 12, 2016 Some of the most comfortable slippers I've ever worn. After wearing nearly daily (Ordered in August of '14) they just split down the side by the sole. I'll probably buy another pair but for only being worn inside on carpet I'd have thought they'd have lasted a bit longer. LOVE THESE MOC'S! BUT BEWARE OF SIZING AND ALWAYS WEAR SOCKS! November 11, 2014 I lucked-out and bought a pair of these for $25.54 each, and they are GREAT moccasins for that price, no doubt, but they definitely run small by 1-1/2 to 2 full sizes. Like most folks, my two feet differ in measurement - they measure size 12 and size 12-1/2, respectively, and when I ordered a size 13, they were still too small, especially with socks. So, if you're considering a pair of these, and you intend to wear them with socks (which I strongly recommend), I would suggest ordering 1-1/2 to 2 full sizes larger than your largest foot size. Socks aren't completely necessary, but your feet will definitely get toasty, and they're likely sweat, which will taint the fleece lining of these mocs.NOTE: These are made of pure swede leather, and they don't wash very well, so a pair of washable socks will protect them nicely from the inevitable perspiration, and let you enjoy them for many more months or years than would otherwise be the case. |
Three Star Reviews: | 15% Adequate March 1, 2017 They are adequate to their intended purpose - slippers that take up very little room in a duffel bag or pack and will keep my feet from getting chilled when I have to take my shoes off when visiting friends during snow/mud season. They could never be replacements for my cozy wonderful wear-all-day-at-home slippers. But those are bulky for travel, so I needed these. The stitching under the heel does feel a bit weird. Hard sole and level cushion keep my feet from rolling off the sides. These are comfortable, and would fit well in luggage November 7, 2016 These are comfortable, and would fit well in luggage, but I have trouble keeping my feet in them when walking--this may not be everyone's experience, they are backless slippers after all a slipper that slips off when walking. September 19, 2016 I say somewhat small because I feel a slipper should be a kind of loose fitting slide that you kind of shuffle around in, but not falling off your foot. These slippers fit snug by the toes, snug in the width, and my heel just barely fits on to the footbed. And they feel as though they might just fall off when descending stairs, Makes walking in them to be confidence lacking, as you become aware of the fit when walking in them. I am a size 11 1/2 and think these slippers would be better suited for people with smaller feet.I included pictures. they were light and comfortable. May 7, 2016 I ordered this pair of slippers mid January of this year and they were completely out of commission by late April of the same year. While they were usable, their soles seem to leave behind small black particles, especially visible on a light color tile or marble floor surface. I was literally picking up small specs of rubber (or whatever material the soles were of) on a daily basis. Other than that, they were light and comfortable. Excess fabric is a deal breaker March 21, 2016 I wear a size 10 in men's and the length felt only slightly too big. The real issue was too much fabric on the top of the foot. VERY loose. They look nice though and come in a nice little bag that matches. I also like that they're washable. That being said...the excess fabric is a deal breaker for me personally and I'm sending them back. Nice slippers but too wide for me September 14, 2015 I am an adult with a 6-1/2 to 7 foot size so I was happy to find my size indicated in your specs. This is the first time I've tried a slipper with no heel rim. Unfortunately, the slippers were wider than I expected and my feet slipped in and out of them too easily while I walked. However, I gave them to my grandson who was able to walk in them better. | 5% It's not a super fluffy slipper for cold days September 13, 2017 It's not a super fluffy slipper for cold days, more like a house slipper for just keeping your toes from contacting cold wood floors. The fit is okay, but the pile lining doesn't cover up the sides of the shoe, so the skin rubs against your ankles. Probably won't buy again. Best to go with the sheepskin slippers that are very warm and more comfortable. First pair defective, hassles on return. June 29, 2017 The first pair I received was defective. The right shoe separated at the toe seam. I processed a request for a return and did not receive a return mailing label. The shoes (from past experience) are generally of good quality and comfort. I'm just disappointed that I had to go to so much trouble returning a defective product. I have another pair, and I visually inspected them closely around the deams. It appears that they are sound. I will let you know in a month after I've worn them a bit. Tag is super annoying. March 1, 2017 Does what good slippers do. Only 2 problems:The tag in the slipper is VERY ANNOYING if you are not wearing socks, and I don't think ripping it out will help.Laces don't stay tied very well. And I'm not a slipper connoisseur, but they seem a bit overpriced. Sent Wrong Size - Disappointed February 22, 2017 Product looked nice, felt nice, until I saw it was the wrong size and my wide foot had great difficulty finning them. I ordered a WIDE width, they sent REGULAR with (I re-verified my order to make sure it wasn't my mistake). I will not be sending them back, and will just try to work with the smaller size. As with most purchases I make, if a manufacturer screws up on such basic things as an order, I will never return. The product looks nice and sturdy, just what I was looking for, but you may want to consider another supplier. Meh May 8, 2016 I bought these to replace some similar UGGs. These are disappointing in that the product label runs under the arch of your foot and is uncomfortable. You can't just pull them out as they are glued in. I had to carefully cut the 3 inch long label out while trying not to cut off too much of the liner. They also don't have nearly the cushion of the UGG moccasins and I don't like to wear these for more than an hr or so at a time. Wish I would have just spent the extra money and gotten the same UGGs as before. No country of origin or contents October 31, 2014 The fit was okay, neither comfortable nor uncomfortable. I cannot find any label that states the construction materials. I thought this was supposed to be provided for any item of clothing. I am also wondering about the absence of Country of Origin labeling. I carefully checked the slippers and the shoe box. I could not find any label for where the slippers were made. The online description sort of leads the buyer to kind of think the shoe is Made in America, without saying so. I sent an email to Minnetonka and they promptly replied, "Style 3908W is manufactured in our factory located in the Dominican Republic." I appreciate the quick response, but I rather thought all products have to indicate the Country of Origin. |
Two Star Reviews: | 9% Slippers leave black residue December 22, 2016 The slippers leave a ack residue on hard wood floors and carpet. Not ideal for use indoors. Poor build quality June 13, 2016 The stitches started coming apart only after a few months of use - less than an hour a day. And now its partly torn. Not worth the price. So obviously there is a size issue here because some ... May 12, 2016 So obviously there is a size issue here because some received a LARGE thats tiny, and i received a LARGE thats insanely LARGE. Okay if paying less than $10 March 18, 2016 These slippers are perfect in their length (I bought the large and wear a size 10-10.5, or 42/43) but the toe box is ENORMOUS.... I have to wear a pair of socks in order to keep them from falling off, and even then I have to shuffle around so they will stay on.As far as the quality goes, they are nice enough under a $10 price point, but at $17 I don't think they are a good value by any stretch of the imagination, Dangerous for stairs March 5, 2016 They're comfortable enough, but they don't stay on, especially when walking up/down stairs. They are so cheaply made they are like free slippers you would get at a spa or ... September 1, 2015 They are so cheaply made they are like free slippers you would get at a spa or hotel. They have no cushion at all. The length is a fit as expected but they are very wide and tall, so not comfortable to wear at all. | 3% Coming apart after a month of wear. March 26, 2017 I wish I didn't have to give these slippers such a low score but the stitching that holds the upper piece of leather in place has come loose. Otherwise they were nice warm, comfortable slippers. I've only had the slippers a month. If I can't return them I'm going to have to figure out how to repair them myself. Very narrow for a size "wide" March 14, 2017 Good quality but very narrow for a size "wide". Don't buy these if you have EE or wider feet. They fall apart after 30 days and never stay tied February 13, 2017 Product fits well. They are comfortable. However, the leather laces are a huge annoyance. They never stay tied and why have them if you have to hack them in order to keep them tied. Additionally, the stitching is coming apart Only had these 30 days. Poor quality. Laces ripped in half October 18, 2016 These were a great fit and are comfy, but the quality of the laces did not last more than a few days for me. These shoes came 'pre tied', which after walking around a few times, came untied. Upon trying to re tie the laces, they unfortunately ripped in half. OK product but customer service was inadequate. March 18, 2013 The slippers were too small and I wanted to return them for the next larger size. It took over 10 days to get a return label. I asked them to exchange for a size 11, but they didn't exchange, but at least I did get a credit for them. This outfit must be from "up-north". I reordered a different brand from a different supplier and am satisfied. Comfy, but not durable ... November 26, 2012 This shoe only lasted three months before it split open. I selected this model because the rubber sole curves upward and seemed firmly attached to the suede upper. However the connection is not secure and after only a few months, the rubber ripped apart at the seam and detached from the upper. Now my pinky toes stick out! Perhaps I am a bit rough with the shoes as I like to run around a bit while playing with my dog.Great shoe if you don't over do it. Not so good for active play. |
One Star Reviews: | 8% sole is very thin and almost like walking on hard floors January 1, 2017 sole is very thin and almost like walking on hard floors. They also were too large to wear and kept falling off. I trashed them. Very comfortable but started wearing out too soon. May 16, 2016 Fabric is already tearing near the heels. Very bummed as I really like these slippers. Too Small. Large size are 10.25" long. Not 11.42" April 21, 2016 The Large size of these slippers are 10.25" long including the felt surround. The actual rubber sole is less than 10". They are advertised as 11.42" long which is incorrect. I wear a 10.5 (US) and my heel hangs off the back of the Large size of these slippers.LOOK AT THE PICTURES I UPLOADED Lol!!! Terrible, incredible wide March 21, 2016 Lenght is fine for medium, about size 9. However it is for huge fat feet or something. It is just too wide, a lot that is like a bag in your feet. Badly made product Don't be fooled like I was. November 10, 2015 Whoever wrote a review and gave 4-5 stars wrote so because they were supposed to. They got the item for free or discounted price. These are not good slippers. I bought them outright. They are thin, they don't stay on. I'd compare them to cheap hotel slippers. I'm purchasing some moccasins. These are not good. | 4% Defective Product April 12, 2017 I purchased these slippers in February and after less than two months of light use, the side of one slipper spilt. I have a narrow foot, so there was not any undue pressure put on this area. I'm not sure whether this area was glued or sewn, but it is an obvious this was a flawed product. Slipper Fell Apart in three months! March 31, 2017 Purchased as a gift for Xmas, 2016, March, 2017, I received the attached picture, with the sole separated from the shoe. I was so saddened that they fell apart and we're not an inexpensive slipper! Poorly made March 3, 2017 While the fit was fine, and they look good, these mocs are a pile of junk. They were bought as a Christmas gift for our son and they lasted about three weeks before the lacing unraveled. Minnetonka used to be a go-to brand for me, but I plan to avoid it in the future. Paying almost $50 for mocs that last three weeks is ridiculous. Lace broke immediately December 26, 2016 Gifted these to my husband for Christmas. He loves the look and feel (initially a little tight) but what we are most bummed about is that after tying them the first time (after wearing for a day) my husband went to tie the laces and it broke right off! We are past the return date because I bought early for a Christmas gift though he opened it on Christmas so hoping the company will see this and help us with a refund. One Star September 14, 2014 love them! Well I did at first.I need to add to this review....within a very few months (less than a year and they're not the only pr. of moccasins I was wearing) they fell apart. They look like the photo someone else posted with one star. The rubber (plastic?) just tore out where it was sewed to the leather. They have been in the back of my closet for months and finally today I started to throw them away, then took them to my elderly but super shoe repairman. He said he couldn't repair them but that Minnetonka moccasins should NOT do that, that the rubber material was too cheap.I wasted my money After 6 months of use they fell apart like rags. July 12, 2014 Wow...DISAPPOINTING. After 6 months of use they fell apart like rags...And to add insult to injury their return policy is only within a month. Minnetonka use to stand by their product and now things have changed. They're quality is in the dirt and they know it, so they close off returns before you have a chance to realize it...never again minnetonka |
