Love it

I love this ball. You can do so many exercises with it.
Love it!!!!

Love it! It's super sturdy & is easy to hold on to. When you do different workouts that require you to throw it on the ground, it's very durible!
Great little medicine ball
October 15, 2015
This is essentially a large thick ball of sand. Bought this mostly due to the price point being excellent. The ball has great control since it has some squish to it. Highly recommended.
Best Bang for your Buck
August 17, 2015
I really like it. It's squishy and seems like a sturdy sand bag. With that being said, its easy to hold with your knees without hurting because it takes a forgiving shape. This has taken my at-home workouts to the next level, I very happy with my purchase. I know that other reviews said that this ball possibly gives off color, but I have yet to have that experience. This medicine ball is the best "bang for you buck." Highly recommended
Great weight for medicine-ball workouts.
February 15, 2015
Very good, much better than a dumbell for many exercises. Easy to grasp: the ball has a tiny amount of slack in it, allowing the user to hold it in one hand. Seems to be quite durable.
I like the size
September 18, 2014
I like the size. It is a tad smaller than a basket ball, but the size is nice for goblet squats. I have not wall balled with it yet.

Great Exercise
August 25, 2015
I purchased this speed rope because I hate running and wanted a different form of cardio to do. I am able to do this non-stop for about 5 minutes then take a break, if you never jump roped, then you will be surprised on how tiring this really is. The jump rope has cushions on the handles that are foam so you have a nice soft grip that doesn't hurt the palm of your hand. The rope is adjustable you just have to push it in the handle which you can take apart. For me I had to get rid of some rope because it was too much for me, considering i'm only 5'7.
Very nice jump rope
June 9, 2015
Very nice jump rope. I don't get why anyone said it's hard to adjust the length, I adjusted it in less than a minute... Simply Step on the rope and hold up to your armpit, mark the other side where the length should be, unscrew the back cap, cut the rope to desired length (requires cutting off one metal cap), then slide up the second metal cap, crimp the ends to together, and it's done. Pliers are helpful for pinching the metal cap but not necessary, you could probably just step on it to crimp it tight. It's not a readjust able rope for an instructor to hand out in class or anything, but a great rope for personal use for a cheap price! Works great and seems durable.
Great rope
April 22, 2014
This rope is no joke! I had some minor problems shortening it because I was a dummy and reused the clip rather than using the one I was supposed to use. Other than that I like that I can just grab this rope and get some exercise in during TV commercials. As another reviewer mentioned, try to have shoes on and make sure no one else is around. This thing is painful when hit. :)
This thing is perfect for a jump rope!
April 7, 2014
I did a lot of looking online for a jump rope because I didn't realize there were 10,000 kinds now. So here are some basic guidelines (not exact) for picking a rope for basic jumping"1. Get the right length of rope:Rope Length Height of Jumper6ft Under 4'0"7ft 4'0" to 4'9"8ft 4'10" to 5'3"9ft 5'4" to 5'10"10ft 5'11" to 6'5"11ft 6'6" +Buy the right size of rope to begin with for your height. Check.2. Jump with it a few times. Wrap the rope around your hand on one side till you get the right length and mark it with tape or hold it there.3. Read the directions on the back of the package on how to crimp it. It's seriously easy.4. Have fun! It's a jump rope.Disclaimer: I have no comment on the speed rope aspect as I have no idea what that is yet.I took off about a foot of length, pounded the loose crimp with a hammer, and voila! I found out just how out of shape I really was! I worked myself to a record of 4 jumps in a row. Beat that! (Is there a doctor in the house???) Seriously, I could jump forever as a kid, so I'm looking forward to regaining my lost agility.
I would recommend this rope no problem.

I've been skipping for about 5 weeks and decided to upgrade from a nylon braided traditional skipping rope to this one.The rope is definitely heavier than the braided one, turns smoother and much faster. I was tripping over my braided skip rope occassionally whereas this one is more precise and fewer skipping trip ups.I took off the end caps (be careful, easy to pop off and lose) and just tied a knot in each end to get the length right. I noticed immediately I could skip with a shorter rope length than the nylon braided rope. I'm six feet tall and the valeo could probably accomodate someone 6 inches taller than me no problem. This is a very good rope for short money so I'd highly recommend it it. It's a "big step up" from a traditional style rope so it should last me through my intermediate ranks as a rope skipper for fitness.BTW I would highly recommend skipping rope as a fast way to get in shape. I skip every other day. On my skipping day, I do three "sets" of skipping with a minute rest between each skip. In five weeks I've tripled the number of jumps I do each day. I'm not sure if that means I'm in three times better cardivascular shape, but the other day I walked two miles then mowed the lawn for an hour and 20 minutes and my significant other was very, very impressed. I felt slightly tired but I figure skipping has SIGNIFICANTLY improved my cardiovascular shape from mediocre to better than poor.Anyways, I would recommend this rope for those who are either a beginner or an intermediate skipper who wants to move up to a better class of rope.
Awesome rope
May 18, 2012
I have purchased three of these ropes in the past year. The first one was for me. The second one was for my girlfriend. The third one was because I was using the first one in a tight space in my garage and sliced it in half by accidentally hitting a metal shelf support. Whoops! Some reviews have implied that there are drastically different models of this rope. All three ropes that I purchased were close to identical. The latest one has a screw-on cap versus a simple pop-off cap and that is the only difference. I can only assume that Valeo has improved these ropes over the years or the negative reviewers received something weird.Beyond the little mishap I had with the shelf support, the first two ropes held up great with regular use. The one thing you have to understand about jump ropes is that they are disposable goods. A lot of negative reviews talk about ropes breaking but you will not find a jump rope that doesn't eventually break. I have bought a few different brands and styles of jump ropes and the Valeo rope had the best performance and held up the best out of all of them. I use mine on my concrete floored garage which isn't the best surface and it has held up fine. My wire jump ropes have not held up anywhere close as well.Regarding performance, I think my best with singles is 150 RPM -- 100 singles in 40 seconds. Not bad. I also do double unders with these with no problem. The rope is relatively heavy compared to wire which means you have to whip it harder but it is also much easier to feel in order to get the timing right. There is a trade off. You will not be held back by this rope unless you are really an elite jump roper. There are some negative reviews about the adjustability of these ropes. Having purchased three of these ropes in the past year, I simply do not understand these reviews. Perhaps the negative reviewers received older models or perhaps they were fakes from third party sellers. I do not know. All I know is that these are brain dead simple to adjust. All three ropes came with crimpers on both ends. This essentially gives you two shots to get it right though you could probably easily bend back the crimpers for a few more tries as long as you don't cut the rope too short. I had no problem finding a good length. In summary, if you need a fast, durable, cheap rope, these are a no brainer. Less than $10 and you get a great rope. When my first one got chopped in half, I didn't think twice about ordering another. I would not hesitate to order another one if I need to.

The perfect weight bench
July 19, 2017
The bench is very sturdy. It is the right length for doing flat bench exercises. It might be a little short if you have an extremely long torso but most people should be fine with it. Its a complete steal at the price they offer it here. Most other benches like this are upwards of $100. I love the leather feel to it, it feels very high quality and is an attractive bench. Putting it together was a breeze. I've had it for almost two years and it has held up great.

Perfect for Home Gym Setup!
September 7, 2016
This is a perfect size for a home gym. I have combined this bench with free weights, an elliptical, a roller and ab wheel. This is all I need for a fully body workout. The bench is strong enough to use with free weights but light enough to move around the house. I'm petite and it works great in terms of the size and height. Perhaps for a much bigger person, it could be too small? It was very easy to put together and all I might do is tighten the hardware once a year.
Perfect bench for me!
August 1, 2016
Wow this bench is amazing! I got this bench to work out in using my Powerblock set and I have no complaints at all. I am a small person (5'8" and 150 lbs). It is easy to move around, I keep my sets under the chair to save more room space and it fits well. When I am not working out, I use it as a normal bench at my desk and it works out well for me. One thing to note is that the bench may be a little shorter on the width and length side for someone who is over 6ft and bulkier than me.
Very Reliable Bench!
July 28, 2016
Teen Son's ReviewI really like this bench because it supports my weight without wobbling and, because of the type of workouts I do, has multiple uses.PROS: Supports a lot of my weight with little to no wobble at all. It's not huge so it fits almost anywhere. It doesn't keep the smell of sweat after I workout. Very lightweight and easy to carry.CONS: I haven't found any yet.So in conclusion, I have found it to be a very reliable bench and I would recommend that if you're in the market for a bench, this is a good buy.
Very solid
May 24, 2014
(For latest update, see update below) I thought I would take a chance on this bench since it was so cheap, and I couldn't be more satisfied. It was packed well and went together in about 5 minutes. It is a testament to the effectiveness of this bench that even during the assembly stage I could already feel substantial gains in my lats. A quick mirror check confirmed this to be true. All the parts were there, and an Allen wrench was included. Just make sure you have a regular wrench for some of the bolts and some bourbon for overall health and well being.I hopped on for a few quick reps to test it out and found that it was incredibly solid - absolutely no wobble at all. My other FID bench has a tiny bit of wiggle that is a constant bother. With the indicated 600lb limit, this should be fine for heavy lifting for just about anybody. Unfortunately my compression socks were at the dry cleaners or I would have tested that limit. Maybe next time I'll update on the max capabilities. Finally, the padding was nice and thick and firm. I couldn't feel any bolts underneath, and it gave nice support - not too spongy. One thing I noticed was that the user limit was 300lb, but the max limit was 600lb. I don't know how the bench knows if you're a 400lb guy lifting 200 or a 200lb guy lifting 400, but you probably wouldn't want to get those two hypothetical scenarios mixed up. If you're 305 and want to a bit of iron hoisting, I would suggest doing a bit of cardio and maybe some sauna first to hit that 300lb limit.(Update: 09/30/2015) I see that some people have been having issues with the durability and/or stability of their units. Maybe some others have purchased lemons, but mine is still rock solid over a year later - no wobbles, no weld failures, and no problems with the stitching. The padding is also still very firm. This is with consistent 3-4x per week of use, unless it is holiday season where usage drops precipitously in honor of the festive spirits - both beer and bourbon. I still have yet to test that upper weight limit, but I'm getting the kangaroo leather inserts redone on my weightlifting gloves. Once those bad boys are back from the tailor and they are properly oiled and conditioned, I'll be ready to max out and give it a go.

January 23, 2017
These are perfect! They not only were less expensive than the other weights I found on amazon, but they were exactly what I was looking for! I ordered a pair of the 8lbs and 10lbs and I've been using them for a week and a half. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, the coating doesn't rub off, and they feel just like the ones at the gym.
Very happy with these
July 5, 2016
I don't think a lot can be said about dumbbells, really. These are indeed 5lbs. The neoprene coating on them has had no issues yet, and perhaps most importantly of all, they aren't malodorous. Even when we first got them they didn't smell bad. Very happy with them.
Just As Expected
May 19, 2016
Bought these in 10lb black neoprene for my husband for his strength training workouts because they were cheap, neoprene, and exactly what he wanted. He's very happy with how they feel during his workouts and the quality of workout he gets from using them. As he grows stronger, I would trust this brand to upgrade his needs.Note: as with all the neoprene weights I've purchased, there's an initial strong smell out of the box and for the first few uses. It fades after a couple of days of fresh air, but don't be surprised if your hands smell--it washes off easily.
Work perfectly
October 31, 2015
I purchased these weights to supplement my weekly HIIT workouts. They arrived quickly and packaged very well-especially for the weight involved. They are very soft as opposed to uncovered weights yet are no slip.
Love them...
July 4, 2014
I looked at so many different dumbbells, and read so many reviews, I thought I'd go loopy! I ordered both the 3 and 5 pound weights, and I'm so glad I did. I had wavered between brands as well as between going with vinyl coating and neoprene, and for me at least, neoprene was the way to go. I like that it gives you a solid grip, even when your hands are sweaty, and I wasn't sure that would be true of the vinyl finish...As well, the price was far better than many brands, both on Amazon and in local stores. They cost less than half of comparable weights elsewhere. Nailed it! :o)

Decent ball, needs improvements
September 3, 2016
I bought this ball so I could workout at home, and while it's decent quality, it is much, much larger than I anticipated it being. I was looking for something more handheld like you find at the gym, and also solidly filled. This ball is probably 9" in diameter (I wish there had been better dimensions listed when I purchased it), and the sand shifts within it when you move it, which I wasn't anticipating. It's a bit too large for my workout purposes, though I have tried to make it work. The rubber is pretty thick, but I did easily puncture a hole in a it (which is now covered with duct tape). Overall, I think if it was a bit smaller and more handheld it would be a bit more useful, as is it's quite bulky.

July 15, 2016
It's got a really unpleasant texture, and I'm afraid to do anything really heavy duty with it but it does the trick.
Super squishy medicine ball!
March 14, 2016
Very well built medicine ball, the rubber is very easy to hold onto/harder to drop as long as your hands are fairly dry, and you can't beat the price. The only downside to this rubber vs. a traditional medicine ball is that the rubber not only helps your hands grip the ball easily but also lint/dirt which can be bothersome (especially if you had pet hair in your home or workout outside.)
Deflategate

I really like the ball, I am enjoying it in my small home gym. It showed up under inflated, that is kinda lame, but I like it nonetheless.

Great for Morning HIIT
February 5, 2017
I purchased this piece of cardio equipment as a way to continue incorporating HIIT into my morning routine. This is a great cardio workout. I typically do 9 sets of 20 seconds of work, followed by 35 seconds of rest. LOVE IT! My heart rate stays at either cardio or peak during the 9 minute session. The jump rope needs to be adjusted. The instructions are somewhat helpful but would be better if a short video was included. I had difficulty with crimping the end of the rope after cutting it to the appropriate length. Eventually, I discovered there was another crimp in the jump rope after re-reading the instructions. I also had to cut the rope several times before getting the length just right. The handles are comfortable and the rope is not too heavy. Not a bad purchase.
Solid Jumprope - Just Measure Twice and Cut Once
June 6, 2016
My husband and I purchased two of these jump ropes when we started training in Muay Thai. They do measure the described ten feet, which is pretty long for the average person, but can be shortened if needed. Unfortunately, unless someone else knows something we don't, the only way to shorten them is to cut the actual rope and reattach it to the handle. It is not a difficult process. The problem came in when my husband cut one of the jump ropes too short and there was nothing we could do about it. It was still usable, just not as comfortable. I would also note that if you are using them without shoes, which we had to do in Muay Thai training, and they hit your feet, it will hurt A LOT. The rope is solid and thick, which is great for durability and not so great on your poor bare toes. Solution: Use sneakers haha. They lasted us both almost a year with no problems. Mine, the shorter one, is still in like new condition. I use it with sneakers now. It is a very solid investment. My husband lost his recently at the gym and reordered the same jump rope, so that I think that speaks to how much we liked it. Just remember to measure carefully before you cut and maybe leave it a little longer than measured to be on the safe side.
Light, durable and fast!
January 9, 2016
I run an after school fitness club with my middle schoolers and they really like these jump ropes. They have a nice soft handle and are much better than those cheap beaded ones (and hurt a lot less if you hit yourself). The ball bearings are very smooth still and I have been using them for about a year. The quality really is surprising for the price. Just be aware that they are 10 feet long and you will have to trim them. Don't guess at the length, remember you can always cut it shorter, but can not add length!
Preparing the rope for use
July 7, 2014
The rope is of a rubber material and is supplied with ball bearing handles. Since the rope is 10 feet long, most people will need to shorten it, which require a pair of slip joint pliers to "un-crimp" a crimped on brass eyelet. Most ropes are sized by adding 3 feet to your height, so 10 feet would be good for a person up to 7 feet tall. The rubber rope takes a set from being folded when shipped. To remove the set, place on the dashboard of a closed car on a sunny day, get the rope nice & hot, then hang straight until it cools. Store by making nice loops about a foot or so in diameter. I added a very small drop of light oil to each bearing - it may not have been needed, but it made me feel better....
Decent rope but
February 10, 2014
The rope is a good thickness and quality and the handles are nice but I am really disappointed with the lengthening and shortening solution. Essentially you are supposed to cut the rope to your desire length. I suppose at the price I could buy multiple of these ropes because the quality is nice but it is disappointing because I was hoping to just have one jump rope that my husband and I could easily share. We tried just tying knots at the end of the ropes and it just causes the handles to become awkward and to often dislodge from the rope. As I said, for the price I paid having gotten it on sale I should have probably just gotten a couple. Also, BE CAREFUL. This rope does have a good weight to it but as with any plastic rope it really can lash you (or somebody else)! I know it seems like common sense but I just had to throw that out there.
I wouldn't consider myself a jump rope afficionado
October 21, 2013
This is honestly the first "professional" style jump rope I have ever used, and I guess as far as jump ropes that I've used go it's pretty good. The major thing that sets it aside from the playground variety, besides being conspicuously absent of Dora the Explorer or unicorns, is that the rope is attached to the handles by a rotating shaft fitted with ball bearings, so the rope can't get "tied up" in itself and not circle easily. This is a feature I didn't know that I wanted but am glad that I have. The other feature I liked about it is that you can cut and fit the rope to your height which makes it easier to jump steadily and quickly through it without it getting tied up all around you or getting the rhythm too far off. The handles are very soft yet still easy to hold, and the rope is plastic and has a nice weight to it so it's easy to keep it going at an even pace. If I wasn't so lamentably out of shape I bet I could keep this going for quite a while. But as it is a minute goes past and then I have to go lie down and cry into my bed made out of Hot Pockets and damn the cosmos. But that of course is why I bought this to begin with, and hopefully one day I'll be able to actually figure out just how great of a jump rope this is. For now, I am left only with suspicion of its greatness.

Solid workout bench.
March 25, 2017
So far this bench is living up to my expectations. Easy to put together. The bench pad is solid and hard which has taken some getting used to given my old one had more cushion. However, I think the solidness of has enhanced my free weight work. The height is also a bit higher than my old one which required more focus when doing my step-ups and considering I'm 5'4". Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and price which was less than half in what I could have paid for the exact same bench in a sporting goods store.
Good bench
March 19, 2017
This bench does everything you want at this price point. It would be better if it were a few more inches long, as I sometimes have trouble laying on the bench to do presses. You can manage it, but you have to use every inch of the bench if you're over 6 feet tall. The bench was fairly easy to put together, and I managed it in approximately 20 minutes. The pparts are very well constructed, and so far I haven't been disappointed.
A Good Starter Bench
January 2, 2017
This is a starter bench. It's rated at 600 lb max (person and weights). It did not arrive in one day as Amazon estimated. Overall a decent bench for a beginner or someone doing simple dumbbell or body weight exercises. I would buy again. See pros and cons below:Pros:Build is consumer grade and suited for working out at home for most.Simple to put together with some basic wrenchesLight and easy to move aroundSmall footprintCons:The padding is not as dense and comfortable as your high quality gym benches
perfect for my purpose
May 17, 2016
Very simple, well built, perfect for my purpose. Was easy to assemble. My only complaint is that I am working out because I am fat and need to build some strength. I laid down on the bench to do some lifts and basically had to roll off. It is too narrow to push up off of, and nothing to hook my feet in to help me sit up. Maybe when my core gets stronger I won't be like a turtle!
Nice, simple bench
March 4, 2016
This bench is pretty much as advertised. You will need to assemble it, but it was pretty easy to do. However, I am one of those people that take everything out of the box and check off that all parts are present before beginning anything. I also read all instructions! :-)It seems lightweight, but it is pretty sturdy when using. I got this for a particular workout program that I started and use it for a lot of step ups and step overs, jump over the bench and some free weight lifting. Have not had an issue with it to date. I am female, 5'5" 170 lbs and not lifting more than 20 pound hand weights, so take that as you will!
Good economical bench for home use
January 4, 2016
I bought this bench to be able to do some basic exercises (dumbbell chest press, dumbbell leg curls, bench hip thrust, etc.) when I do not have time to go to the gym. I find it perfect for home use. The quality seems good and it was very easy to put together, Although,I had to put some muscle strength in tightening the bolts. The only con is that the bench is really light and I found it to tip over when doing dumbbell leg curls or hyper-extensions on one end. I fixed this easily by putting 20 lbs dumbbells over the bench base on the opposite end. So I am very happy with this purchase since I can do the exercises I bought it for.

Good beginner weights
June 11, 2017
The texture is a little odd and can get feel sticky at times, but it helps maintain a strong grip. I've had these for a while and they're still in good shape, though admittedly they haven't seen heavy usage.

February 6, 2016
For the money these are good weights. I have them in 5, 8,10 and 12 lb.The diameter of the grips varies depending on the weight and is fairly large on the 10 and 12 lb. weights. I am a woman about 5'8" and usually where large gloves so my hands are fairly large for a woman's. The grips are just barely OK for me on the 12 lb. weights but they might be a little uncomfortable for people with small hands. The neoprene coating is pretty thick and it makes the weights easy to grip and they feel like they are well balanced. However, the coating isn't 100% uniform, and on some of my weights there are little ridges and bumps where maybe the coating wasn't dipped and cured as well as it could have been. For me these small defects don't really affect the performance except that sometimes I can feel the little ridges/bumps under my hand a little bit depending on how I pick the weight up, but I don't feel like it would warrant going through the hassle of a return. I wonder if maybe all weights of this kind might have similar small defects as part of the manufacturing process. All in all these are good weights for the money and I'm glad I choose to get them instead of the vinyl ones.
Great for the price, and the outgassing is normal.
April 8, 2015
Item received in perfect condition, my dumbbells were not peeling like some reviewers experienced. Note to rememver when ordering is it is sold as ONE weight, so if you want a pair, order TWO.What I like: -- Nice texture to the neoprene, it makes it easy to grip when you're working out (ie. sweaty!) and protects our hardwood floors while I am working out. -- Polygon ends prevent rolling, also, which is good. -- Bright orange is easy to see so there's no guess as to where my weights are mid-workout.What didn't I like: -- Outgassing. Yes, the product smelled when first unwrapped. It went away, though, and is not a deal-breaker for me (and I am a first-time mom who is paranoid of toxic chemicals in the house like flame retardants -- which are everywhere, by the way).HOWEVER, this is a typical result from manufacturing process. Yes, it may have some less than ideal chemicals, but it's the same as the new car smell, and it goes away. Want to avoid the chemicals while outgassing? Unwrap and set it outside in the hot sun for a day or two. The heat will help speed up the process and the weights will be stink-free in a day or two.Best price I could find, and I will definitely buying the next size up when I am ready to increase.
Great Weights.

These are pretty good weights. I bought the teal 7 lbs. I do wish they sold them in pairs and not individually. I have softer hands and some wights hurt my hands due to their roughness. These are pretty soft to the touch and when you do wrist curls they don't rub your palms raw. I definitely will be using this brand to size up.
Great value for the price
June 21, 2014
Great design and materials.(1) Endpieces are hex-shaped instead of circular. They do not roll away on the floor.(2) Entire unit is covered in dense neoprene foam. No strong odor on my units. Covering on the endpieces reduces damage to weights and floors if dropped. Covering on handle portion provides firm grip even with sweaty hands. The dense neoprene foam provides a better feel than smooth vinyl coverings (some can feel slippery, some can feel goopy). A major concern is whether the covering will peel over time. This is my first experience with this brand, so time will tell; but I have had similar weights from another brand (a low-cost, sporting-goods-chain-store brand, no longer available) that I've had for over 15 yrs without peeling. Neoprene is a chemically-resistant material that doesn't get brittle with age, unlike cheaper plastics.(3) The only reason I'm dinging a star is because they are not as good as my old ones (of the other brand). I bought 8 units ranging from 2 to 5 lbs (as gifts to my daughter and because I need some light weights for physical therapy). The old weights had contoured handle portions that provided a more comfortable grip. These weights have straight cylindrical handle portions that are not as comfortable, but OK. The coverings on the old weights had a relatively flat mold seam and few imperfections. The coverings on these weights have a pronounced mold seam and multiple bumps and bubbles. My only other minor complaint is the rather girly selection of colors; hey, manly men need light weights, too! :-) But I'm not downgrading for that.(4) For the price though, these weights have great value. Similar weights cost 2-3X or more. Check the prices carefully when you select the weight size. Lighter is not always cheaper. Not sure whether it depends on available inventory. Right now, 2 lb and 5 lb cost about the same; 3 lb cost less; and 4 lb cost more. Some reviewers are annoyed that they are sold individually instead of in pairs. But the price is clearly marked as by the piece. Also, the lighter weights can get tossed in gym bags and get carted around; they can get lost, and it's good to be able to replace only one unit, if that's what you need.(5) Packing from Amazon is very hit-and-miss these days. In my case, the box was just barely adequate. Each unit was in an individual plastic bag. Units were stacked in three layers, with some paper separating each layer, but not separating units next to each other. Fortunately, the box was small so the units could not roll around much and bash into each other hard over-and-over. My units were clean and undamaged.Update (7/4/2014). Just bought 4 more units (two 2-lb units and two 3-lb units). Quality, condition, and packing same as the first 8 units I bought.Note Added (9/12/2014). I have been attending physical therapy sessions. The weights there have the smooth vinyl coating. The neoprene foam coating on the CAP units have a much better feel and afford a better grip for sure.Update (6/27/2015). I have been using the 2 - 5 pound weights daily for about a year now. They are holding up fine. The neoprene coverings have not cracked, split, or peeled. Just ordered two 6-pound weights directly from Amazon. They were new (CAP label intact), clean, and did not have a strong smell. Horrible packaging (or lack thereof) by Amazon. They were shipped loose in the manufacturer's box that originally held six units. Miracle they survived bashing against each other during shipment. Perhaps that's a testament to their durability. Four minor nicks on the neoprene cover on each unit. Can't tell for sure whether they were manufacturing defects or were incurred during shipping. But they were not serious, and I just dabbed some tacky glue on the nicks to seal them. If they had been more severe, I would have exchanged them. Amazon is very responsive about exchanging damaged or defective items.Update (6/4/2016). Almost another year has gone by. I've been using the 3 - 6 pound weights daily (outgrew the 2 pounders). They are still holding up fine. The neoprene coverings still have not cracked, split, or peeled.

Sadly, not the rope it was 4 years ago :(
December 12, 2016
Picked this rope up 4 years ago here on Amazon. It's nice and heavy but not too heavy (can still do double unders and jump outside in a slight breeze). The rope wore through where it was contacting the cement, so I ordered a new one this past week. Same rope, here from Amazon for the same price.Well, sadly much like most products these days it is being made with subpar materials. The rope of 4 years ago was solid. The replacement rop is hollow and much lighter. So light that I cannot jump outdoors with a slight breeze like I used to. I took comparison pics for reference. Bummed.. this WAS a good deal. Now that its hollow I cannot use it like I used to. I would have gladly paid $5 more to get the old rope backTime to find a better one.

June 8, 2016
I was able to shorten it with no trouble, but when I use it it tends to tangle and wrap around its self. It's very frustrating because I have to stop after a few rotations of the rope because it's no longer working properly. I've tripped over it a few times and have almost fallen down because it gets so tangled so quickly. I think I got what I paid for with the price, because it is just not very good. You'd think something so simple would have been easy to perfect, but I guess not. I don't use this item as much as I would like to because it's just a hassle.
Thick heavy-ish rope, good for endurance, but durability?
January 25, 2015
I had the rope for 6 months now, and it just tore right above the handle. It goes through normal use, I use it about 4 days a week, 5 to 10 minutes a day as a warm-up. Don't get me wrong, it's a quality rope. I did attach a photo of how it tore, it seems to have twisted too much at those points and softened, leading up to an unexpected rip. Considering a rope is meant to turn endless cycles, its unusual that the way it went is though what it was made to do.

I find it confusing on how to make it shorter
Crimping, hmmm
July 20, 2014
It appears to be quality, however they give you no good instructions for how to size your jump rope. It simply says "to your desired length", bong, wrong. There is a length to which a jump rope should be sized based on your height and to use the rope efficiently. Anyone interested there are plenty of youtube videos on how to as such, so no big deal on this part of the product. However, you supposed to pull the end of the rope through end cap which is easy enough and crimp to the desired length and cut off the excess. So why don't they give you extra crimps? You can't possibly reuse the crimp already in place. Maybe I lost it when I opened it but I don't think so. So, I think adding a few extra crimping sleeves to this kit would make it much better. Really, how much does a crimping sleeve cost?
Make a mistake and you'll get whipped!
February 28, 2014
Once I got the rope, I tested it, knowing it wasn't sized properly. Well, I started using and it and once I "missed", the rope slaps my forearm like a whip! Dang, I must have gotten like 4 raised whip marks on my arm--my kids thought I got in whipped. The rope material can hurt when it hits your skin!!!Well, once I sized the rope, it worked much, much better, of course. The speed is fantastic because of the weight and material of the rope. Every once in a while, I may still "miss" and my wrist or arm will get whipped, but it's not as frequent.MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SHOES WHEN YOU USE THIS. If you are barefoot and you whip your foot, you'll be punished for the mistake. It's a good rope, I just wish it didn't punish you if you make a mistake!

Screws too long!
September 12, 2017
The bench itself is nice quality, however, The screws that secure the bench to the two "feet" are too long and as a result they extend past the bottom of the rubber end caps on either side of the feet. This results in the bench wobbling wheneve I move it or reposition it. Otherwise, it is suitable for at home workout.
Decent Product For Price:
June 11, 2017
The bench has some unexpected flexibility during use. I am under 200 lbs and not lifting over 70 lbs total. I wonder how it does with big guys lifting more serious weights?
Great bench for dumbbell work outs
July 7, 2016
Good bench for the price, a bit bigger than I expected, but perfect for doing dumbbell exercises at home. I canceled my gym membership and bought this + a pair of Bowflex SelectTech 552 Adjustable Dumbbells & an Ab Ball. I'm able to get a complete work out at home on my own schedule and could not be happier. I'm 5'11, 170 lbs, and I the maximum weight on my dumbbells is 105 lbs, so that's what I bench, but if you're looking to do more than that, this might not be the bench for you, since the max load is only 300 pounds.
Wobblistic! Cheap
March 7, 2016
This thing wobbles but for the price, what do you expect. I have this and 2 of the more expensive Marcy Bench. The more expensive one is worth it when it's on sale at $64. But for this price, you really can't complain. The difference is the legs and the cushion. My major complaint on this one is that no way you can fix the wobble!
Good, not great for heavier people
February 9, 2016
The bench is good, so far, but feels slightly wobbly. I'm a big guy (6'4" 230 pounds) and can feel the bench giving under my weight when I sit on the edges. I wouldn't trust it to hold me up if I did bench dips. I can also feel it shifting substantially when I do heavy bench press. I feel like a lot of that could have been mitigated if they threw 3 or 4 steel strips on the underside to distribute the load. So, for now, it works, but I'm not so sure about the long term viability of the bench.
Good bench, nothing fancy
April 7, 2015
I'm 5'7" and this bench is a perfect fit for me. If you're much taller than I am it may be a little short for you. Width seems standard like the benches at the gym, but length strikes me as a little less. Easy to put together, seems super sturdy, and I expect it will last for years to come in my workout room.

Nice, but so sticky.
August 9, 2017
The 5lb bumbells are great, however, the material They are coated in is a bit sticky. After holding them for a while, my hands feel grimy and sticky. I even washed them and couldn't get rid of the stickiness. I have to wrap a paper towel around the handles to avoid the sticky coating.

Sticky, right weight
August 9, 2015
They have a funky stickiness, which either lessened a little or I got somewhat used to it. I have a set from Target that is not sticky and is supposed to be the same material, so it puzzles me. They are really low to the ground and the bar is extra long. I suppose the length helps with doubling them in one hand, but I use a kettle bell instead most of the time. I can do planks and pushups with them without pain, which is what caused me to I replace the old ones, but my fingers touch the ground. Mine (2) matched and don't have a noticeable smell. My scale said they are 8 lbs (which is what I ordered). Made in China, as expected.
Neoprene Already Coming Off Upon Delivery
January 19, 2015
Brand new out of the box and the Neoprene is already flaking off like play-doh. I can literally rub my finger on the weight and it will start falling apart. For the price they'll work, but I could have done without the extra vacuuming now required. You may be better off trying a local store so that you can inspect your weights before purchasing.
great price but be aware of some issues
April 14, 2014
They have a strong odor and bell portion is relatively small so doing plank presses is harder. They also carry a warning about cancer and reproduction risk for California's law. I researched (I'm a medical professional) and okay with the small risk given limited exposure and limited clear data but believe everyone should assess the risk themselves since it's your body. I might have chosen metal had I seen the warning pre-purchase. One had some minor damage. For the price they're great

not worth the money
April 8, 2014
I spent extra money on this even though it was for my 9-year-old, because he needed it to train for his dance class and I wanted him to have a quality jump rope. I really regret it. Between the fact that the rope is so lightweight and the fact that it constantly crimps up on itself, it's practically worthless to my son. I'm now spending about two dollars to buy a replacement jumprope that actually has some weight to it and can be jumped more than six times without tangling up.
Jump Rope snapped in two after ten uses
April 5, 2014
I rate this product poorly because I believe it to be made poorly.I used it on concrete and wooden floors.I used it on about ten different occasions total in less than a month; then it just snapped. It did not wear down very thin and then break, it just split straight in half. This makes me think that it did not break due to wear but it instead broke due to very cheap material. It's possible that I could have damaged it on something sharp, but I don't think that I did.I know the jump rope is cheap, yet I hoped for many more than ten uses out of the jump rope.If you want to try the jump rope, it's not a steep investment. But then you can't be too upset if the jump rope splits in half after a few uses.
Feels heavy and rope gets twisted
October 27, 2013
I just received my jump rope and tried it out for the first time. I'm 5' 10", so the 10' rope was a bit long, so I shoved the rope inside the handles for this test drive. Well, the rope does get tangled as others have mentioned, and the rope itself just feels "heavy" to me. My trainer's cross fit rope feels lighter, rotates nicely, fits better in the hands and never tangles. I will probably return this and buy the same brand as she has.
bought something else
July 11, 2013
Fairly cheap construction compared to my other rope I was replacing. I bought this hoping it would last longer but pretty quickly replaced it with the old model as it was thicker (so a lot more drag) and felt very cheap to hold.Might work for a child that doesn't need a work out, or anyone who doesn't care about their performance with the rope but it still feels like it's clumsy as it goes through the air.
Poor design
September 30, 2012
What people say about adjusting the length is true. I had pliers, wrenches, and the works and still adjusting the length was a major problem. Also, the rope had been so tightly wound (and too quickly packaged) that it seriously still has a crooked shape when extended. Very poor manufactoring/packaging. The bearings are nice though, and the rope otherwise works. I recommend it only for people who at 6'5" and don't have to adjust the length.

This bench is not sturdy at all. Not lightweight people doing light weight exercise only. I didn't expect much out of it, but i got less than expect on durability. This thing can barely handle 200lbs.
Wobbles
May 28, 2017
When I put it together it does not sit flat. It wobbles. It's higher than the ones I have used at the gym and my feet do not come close to being in a comfortable bench position. But I suppose for a cheap price you get what you pay for. I would return if I had paid more but it's not worth the time to take apart package and ship back. I'm sure I'll find some use out of it
2 stars because it does work other than that this bench is made with horrible, bending plywood
May 19, 2017
After about 10-20 uses the middle of the bench will start to bend, this bench has the potential to mess up your posture. 2 stars because it does work other than that this bench is made with horrible, bending plywood.
Not durable...buy a bench of higher quality.
October 3, 2016
Not exactly durable... I have owned this for 1.5 years, and typically put a total ~250-280lbs on the bench. It is rated for 300lbs, but that is not the case with mine. After about 6 months, I noticed one of the legs warped a bit diagonally, and yesterday while lifting I noticed for the first time that the entire surface of the bench is very uneven--leaning towards the left side. Time to replace it before I injure a shoulder or worse, have the leg snap in half.Do yourself a favor and get a more expensive bench. Your future gains will appreciate it.

Defective items.
September 18, 2016
I bought two and while one was received in good condition, the other had a big gash in it's coating. I returned the defective item and received a new one that also had a gash in the coating. I'm trying one last time to get a replacement and hopefully it will be in good condition. On the one I did receive in good condition, it is what I need. It is a good weight and it isn't abnoxious to hold like some of them. If I could get a second weight without any problems I wouldn't have any complaints.
Horrible. Poor quality.
May 21, 2016

Packaging was horrendous (Not Amazon's fault) 2 of the same Dumbbells didn't match (Photos included)
October 30, 2015
I love these Cap Barbell Dumbbells. This is the 5th set I have bought. I never had an issue until now. Of course they both weigh 10 lbs, but I was pretty disappointed that they are noticeable different shades of blue. Not only are the shades of blue different, but they have different sized handles, slightly different texture, and the hexagonal section edges are more defined on one vs the other. (see photos)I don't mean to complain, since they will work properly. But I enjoy having my dumbbell sets and everything displayed in my home gym, aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, I worry that if I try to get a replacement, that I will run into the same issue once again.. :/ If I do end up getting these replaced, I will increase my rating to 4 stars. Not to blame Amazon at all for the packaging, but my rectangle box was delivered almost bent into the shape of an "L". This was solely the fault of FedEx's delivery service. Having said that, I do believe that Amazon shipping should have placed these weights into a small box instead of having them freely roll around in the box containing my other items. I believe that is what attributed to the bending of the box. (see photos)

Not Adjustable b/c Extra Grommets Not Included
April 29, 2016
The "adjustable" version of this rope may or may not be adjustable -- it depends on whether the manufacturer forgot to include the extra crimping grommets. Mine lacked the extra grommets, so I can't adjust the rope without going to the hardware store for more. From the reviews, it appears other customers have the same problem. Frustrating! Why is it that so many manufacturers screw up easy stuff like this? C'mon, guys!I have no idea how the rope will perform once I shell out more $ for the extra grommets. Fingers crossed.
Garbage
June 22, 2015
I don't know how this company managed to take the simplest workout tool, use modern technology and make it worse. I guess I should take some of the blame for buying a jump rope that isn't made out of rope. But, this is just terrible. It is this crimped up plastic cord that make you more likely to trip over, that isn't straight and manages to use technology to make a worse rope. How is that possible and who thought we needed to make something so bad? I have used jump ropes with what looks like a plastic cord at the gym that worked well (maybe better than an actual rope). This is not that kind of jump rope. And, it isn't the kind of bad design that make you exercise harder - you just trip over it and can jump less.
Loose metal bearings in handlebars. Poor Customer Service.
May 28, 2015
There are two reasons why I do not recommend this product for anyone interested in buying a new jump rope. I will list here the reasons before going into a detailed review:1. The metal bearings in one of the handlebars got loose after one month and started making a disruptive sound with each swing.2. I was met with poor customer service when I tried to replace the defective product and ultimately decided it was not worth the additional cost to receive a replacement rope.Upon purchasing it, I had no difficulty adjusting the rope to size, but when I actually started using the product, I realized that the handlebars make a slight noise with each swing. It's not terrible, but it is inconvenient if you listen to music or watch TV while you jump for an extended period. That's not the reason for the one star however. After about a month of everyday use, one of the handlebars started making a great deal of noise with each swing (significantly more than it did initially). So significant was the noise that it prevented me from watching television while jumping due to a failure to hear the TV. I tried to resolve the issue, but was unable to. It appeared that something was wrong with the metal bearing since one of them made a loud scraping sound when I turned it with my hand.I decided to call Valeo concerning the issue where I was met by a rude representative who provided me with little information. I decided to email them instead and after detailing the problem, I was asked to submit a video displaying the issue. I submitted the requested video and was then asked to submit a proof of purchase. After completing all the required steps, they told me that I had been approved for a mail in exchange "as a courtesy" in which I would have to ship the product to New York before they would ship me a new product. It was just a big inconvenience overall and did not seem worth the additional shipping expense to me. I saw a negative review concerning Valeo's customer service prior to purchasing this product and regret not listening to them then.Ultimately, I encourage individuals to consider another rope from a reputable brand rather than taking a chance and having to undergo the process I underwent in the event of receiving a defective product. Thank you.
If you're serious, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
January 25, 2014
I've been jumping rope, in particular speed rope, for a few years now. I do speed hope 45 min a day 6 days a week. It's a great way to stay in shape, lose weight, great for coordination, footwork and quickness, staying light on your feet and building stamina. Most professional athletes, most notably boxers, jump rope to improve different aspects of their athleticism. Now, long time ago I tried these Valeo ropes and quickly realized they were sub par. Recently, the speed ropes I prefer, made by Title boxing had a flaw in the plastic that made the handles brittle and crack easily and Amazon then stopped selling those. I then decide to try these again and wish I hadn't. The ball bearings are terrible, they stop spinning quickly and this causes the rope to get tangled immediately.I have just went and ordered 3 ropes from Title. I'm hoping they fixed the problem with the handles, but even if they haven't the handles last lingers then these crapy ball bearings. I will also be trying out other brands.SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! DON'T BUY THIS
Confusing and broke in cold
January 3, 2014
Well it says adjustable but I didn't realize that meant cut the cord to a desired length. After unclamping this dangerous metal junk, you clamp it back on with pliers.I cut it a tiny bit too short so it sometimes screwed me over. I'm only 5 foot 9 and cut 3-4 inches but that apparently was too much. My 6'2" friend couldn't even use it. I held it with the edge of the very soft handles. Too soft... Your hand got imprinted in the handle so you had to use it that exact way every time. I was reluctant to let someone else borrow it.)Then it broke on me after only 20-30 uses!! It was winter and icy but whatever, and the damn thing broke right down the middle. Worst product ever, the cheaper one at Walmart is way better and only 3 bucks.
Sloppiest workout of my life.
August 25, 2013
This rope is so heavy and bulky that it rendered my training ineffective due to it becoming tightly twisted up. This rope would be ideal for interval training because after about 15 seconds of jumping, you’ll spend another 30 seconds untangling it. I hung it over a door for a few days, hoping that it would straighten out and alleviate the problem, but no such luck. I used this rope for 2 half hour sessions and decided that I will instead buy another cheap cable rope that I had before buying the Valeo speed rope.Would not buy again/10

Color weird- neoprene scratched up
August 24, 2017
The color isn't as advertised. It looks more like vomit than the light green in the picture and the neoprene is scratched through to the metal in 2 places. I guess I'll return it and get one that isn't someone else's reject. Amazon is not what it used to be.Update; the neoprene is scratched through in at least 7 places. Not even closer to the correct weight
April 19, 2017
Ordered two 1 pound dumbbells. As soon as I opened the box you could tell these were crap. One is .8 pound and the other is 1.7 pounds. CAUSES CANCER warning
October 27, 2015
I am very disappointed with these. I bought them to better my health, but when they arrived it came wrapped in warnings. I double checked to see if any of these were listed on the product information before you buy, just in case I missed reading this, and it was not. I do not want something that is coated in chemicals that causes cancer, birth defects and other reproducive harm. I'm sure there are many people that may not care, in that case then these should work for you. I would not have purchased these had I known this warning. If you are concerned about your health I would suggest looking at a different brand.

The dumbbells weren't in the best shape. I ordered two and each had a long cut in the neoprene on one end and numerous small chunks of neoprene missing or small gashes. They were really dirty as if they maybe had been sitting on a shelf for a long time. I ended up keeping them only because I didn't want to deal with sending 12 lb weights back and I needed them. My local stores didn't sell neoprene weights over 10 lbs.I suppose they still do there job just fine, but I'm still really bummed at the condition they were in since I expected brand new perfect condition like the previous 8 lb ones I had ordered.
