Great Buy
July 10, 2017
This mattress was purchased for my dog to sleep on. The floor gets to cold in the winter time and this mattress is just perfect. He weighs over 100 pounds and the mattress is very firm and gives him the support that he needs. I am certain that this mattress would also be everlasting for an infant growing up into a toddler bed.
Solid for 2+ years
June 4, 2017
I purchased this mattress in April of 2015, and haven't had any problems with it! No cracked covering, no smell. I was reading the reviews and debating on getting a 2nd one for my next child I'm expecting in September, and am surprised by the other reviews. I plan to get a 2nd!
2nd time purchase - still good mattress for the price
May 15, 2017
bought this mattress for the second time about 3 months ago. The first one we purchased has been in use for almost 3 years and is still in good shape. This second one we purchased has been used minimally by our newborn but appears to be the same quality.
Good mattress for the price
May 10, 2017
Good quality mattress for the price. This one started to split after 6 months but my daughter jumps up and down in her crib and this mattress isn't a trampoline, so I'd say it held up well. Good value.
Great Quality!!!

I absolutely love this mattress! It did have a new carpey smell when I first opened it, but it was gone after a day of being out of the box. I am a first time Mom, so I carefully picked this mattress. In comparison to other mattresses, I found this mattress to be softer. It's still a firm mattress and I do not believe it presents a choking hazard at all. It is well made and i believe that this product will hold up for a long time.
Our baby preferred this mattress over being held!
February 17, 2016
My son loves this mattress! We have had this mattress since birth and our little guy is now almost 2. He hated his hard crunchy bassinet mattress but was happy to move to this mattress in his crib. I would hold him and rock him before putting him in his crib until one day he pointed to his crib and I realized he preferred the crib over being held...that is how much he loves sleeping on this mattress! He sleeps a lot, 15 hours a day, so there is now a definite dent in the middle where he sleeps and we won't be able to use it for the toddler bed conversion (he is 26 lbs. at 22 months). I noticed this dent started after he reached about 24 lbs. I can't really speak to the waterproof features as we haven't had any accidents or leaks. However, I'll share a handy tip from another parent: cover the mattress in a sheet, followed by a waterproof mattress protector, then another sheet. That way, if you have a leak, you just rip off the top sheet and mattress protector and voila there is a clean sheet ready to go underneath. Even though the mattress lasted less than 2 years, I will buy it again for our next baby expected this summer.

August 6, 2016
Really pretty crib. Colour is much nicer than the pictures show. We really wanted a crib that looks very simple, so that I can move it from one room to another and it would go with the surrounding and we got exactly what we wanted. It looks really simple and it is very easy to blend it into any room you want. It was really easy to assemble, it took my husband less than an hour to put it together with two kids continuously interfering him. The crib is solid wood and really sturdy, it has no wobbling what so ever. I'm really excited of the idea that you can also take one side off and start to train your child for toddler bed. My oldest went straight from closed crib to toddler bed and it was a bit hard for him to get used to it. So I hope this will help my youngest one to kind of get an idea of normal bed. We haven't tried all the configurations yet, but for now we are super happy with it.This bed is a really good quality for a really good price.
LOVE this crib!
May 29, 2016
Absolutely LOVE this crib! It's super sturdy, has a great finish, and was a great price! I can definitely see what some reviewers meant by confusing directions/difficult packaging for the hardware. I think for the price it's an excellent purchase, however. I didn't see what some other reviewers were saying about holes drilled in the incorrect places - ours were perfect. I'm not entirely sure if it is a problem they have since fixed or what. But ours were great. It took my husband around twenty minutes to put together. This crib sits fairly low when on the bottom position for older babies, and I would say it's around 10" from the ground. This means any dust ruffle you get should be VERY "short". Speaking of short - as other reviewers have mentioned, it could be a real pain if your baby is not standing up yet, as you really have to practically climb into it if you are a shorter person, to reach down to baby! But for the price, I still give it five stars. It is so much value for your dollar imo! <3 Also - The Trend Lab Fleece CribWrap Rail Covers for Crib Sides (Set of 2), White, Narrow for Crib Rails Measuring up to 8" Around! and Trend Lab Fleece CribWrap Rail Cover for Long Rail, White, Narrow for Crib Rails Measuring up to 8" Around! are excellent purchases to make this item last even longer. They fit great and should really enhance the longevity of this product, especially if you plan to use with more than one child.
This crib looks nice, is sturdy, fairly easy to assemble, and affordable. You can't ask for much more!
March 2, 2016
For the price, you can't beat this crib. We got it in gray and the color is extremely close to the images displayed on the Amazon listing - which is exactly what we were looking for. We did have to backtrack once when we initially assembled the crib, but it wasn't too bad and I think it was more user-error than the instructions. (We moved several months after having baby and it was really easy to disassemble and reassemble at the new house). Others have mentioned that the parts were not labeled and that the crib had a chemical/new paint smell, but our pieces were all labeled and I don't recall there ever being a chemical smell. The crib is very sturdy, standard crib mattress fits perfectly and while baby currently only naps in the crib, it has worked very well. I had a c-section and am fairly short (only 5'3"), but with the mattress at the highest level was able to get baby in and out of the crib with ease after about 2 weeks. This crib looks nice, is sturdy, fairly easy to assemble, and affordable. You can't ask for much more!
Well made and solid Crib for the money with plenty of room to grow.
February 26, 2016
Here is my review:GENERAL LOOK:- General construction, finish is very nice. There is some factory paint / finish smell, so I recommend opening the box or assemble the crib to leave it out of the package to air out. The paint smell aka VOC disappears in time, similar to when painting a room via latex paint, not as strong as using a oil base paint. But be sure to air the crib prior to having your new born sleep in it.-Gray is much darker than in pictures. Darker than a battle ship gray, more towards a dark gray color so be aware. It fit our overall baby room design so we're happy. Paint job is clean and very durable finish and should last with usual care and use.ASSEMBLY:- Instructions are clear and everything is labeled properly. Everything was packaged very well, arrived in under 2 days (We have Prime)- Many commented saying there was no labeling to each panel, but there actually are little round stickers at the ends with labels ex. A1, A2 or B1, B2. Just carefully look at the diagrams in the assembly manual, labels are given and just match the hole cut out and you can easily figure out the proper orientation.- Hardware is complete in a sealed package with an 4 mm Allen key tool. (similar to all these flat pack furniture kits) As a big FYI, I would recommend using a ball head metric 4 mm Allen key as well and you don't specifically need it but a Phillps #2 or a Slot head/ flat head screw driver would be nice to hold the female tension nut when assembly.MY GENERAL EXPERIENCE:- I assembled the crib in about 15 to 20 minutes and the parts are very easy for a one person assembly. Just take your time lay things out and if you have the above mentioned tools, this will make your life much easier.- Crib fits the standard mattress 52 x 28, and has 2 adjustment height points.- Slats are good distance apart so no fear of having the baby getting stuck, though anything can happen so its a matter of setting up safety based on your personal concerns. But I have no concerns for the safely of our new born baby, crib is very solid.- One thing to note: I can see how other people can easily snap the sidewalk bolts as the tension they provide in assembly can easily shear off the bolt heads. Therefore I first recommend assembling the crib just tight enough (not final assembly torque) that you have it all assembled and can make the necessary adjustments to square off the corners and get the hardware to align straight and into the countersunk holes. Dont tighten the hardware in a crooked angle, this will damage the wood, place a odd sheering load on the hardware bolts which can potentially snap due to being over tight. The key thing is to have the bolt head sit flush and flat in the countersunk holes.Once you have everything aligned then tighten all the bolts, corner to corner and keep in mind not to ruin your initial alignment. But DON'T over tighten the hardware. There is no need to over torque the hardware, just a good n tight some where in the 10 ft pounds of torque or tightening a tad bit stronger ex. when closing a bottle cap on a bottle of soda before you put on its side in your refrigerator, just a tad tighter than normal, but not gorilla tight, there is no need.FINAL CONCLUSION:Great price for a nice crib. I recommend it highly, just air out, take your time in assembly and don't over torque the hardware.Hope my review helps. Best wishes to your new born baby. Cheers!!
Great for affordability and durability.
May 15, 2015
I think for the price, its great. It's exactly what is was wanting and needed. It's simple and modern. It seems durable and sturdy. I'm not afraid to put my baby in it. Easy to put together, just make sure you follow the directions.
Love this crib!
October 24, 2014
This color of this crib is beautiful! Our baby is due in December so we haven't tried it out yet, but it was very easy to put together and is sturdy. The only negative is it has a strong paint odor, so I recommend putting it together a few months before you need it so it can air out. Other than that, it's a great crib for a great price.

No smell but loud
May 28, 2017
I gave 4 stars because of how much noise the mattress makes. When my step son was sleeping in our room I was constantly waking up because he tosses and turns a lot and the mattress made a tremendous amount of noise. Unlike other reviews this mattress didn't have any odor to it. It is also very firm.
Two Years Old
February 15, 2017
We purchased this in December of 2014. Our little one did not really begin sleeping in it overnight until he was around 5 months old, so for 1.75 years now, he has been sleeping in it pretty exclusively. It has held up well, but I have noticed in the last month or so that the middle is beginning to sag. I flip the mattress over and rotate it regularly (every week alternating rotating/flipping). For the price, two years is not bad, though I would have like to get at least another year out of it before purchasing a new mattress.
Nice mattress, Great Price. Watch out for the origin of manufacture/assembly
March 9, 2016
Overall no complaints about this mattress. My only gripe is that I wanted a mattress made in the USA, which the product details state that the origin is USA, but the tag on the mattress said it was manufactured in China and assembled in Canada. It does list in the "about the product" section a line that says "imported". At first I thought this meant it was not from the USA but when I got to the product details it specifically mentioned USA, so I figured that meant a component in the mattress was imported, not that the whole mattress was imported.Just very deceiving and I wish amazon/the seller would make sure all their info is accurate.I would try to return the mattress and find another one that was made in the USA but I didn't have time as we really needed it for the crib so we could transition our son over to it as he outgrew his previous sleeping arrangement.
Light and firm but too hard for toddlers
January 22, 2016
Very lightweight and extremely hard. I have 3 little ones that are all in toddler beds and this is by far the firmest mattress we have bought. It was too hard for my toddlers so I also purchased a mattress pad topper that is specifically to add cushion (not just the waterproof ones).Great price for a lightweight, firm mattress, but we definitely needed the added cushion.
Is very lightweight so that I could carry it and install it very easily on my own
October 10, 2014
Fits perfectly in the Nursery 101 Sidney Convertible Crib. Is very lightweight so that I could carry it and install it very easily on my own. Would warn buyers that the price seems to fluctuate a lot. After doing a lot of researching I knew this was the mattress I wanted to get because of the firmness, Greenguard protection, light weight, waterproof surface and tear resistance. No other mattresses in a similar price range provided all those options. The mattress has a slight smell but not anything too strong. The second place option was Simmons Kids Beautyrest Beginnings Sleepy Whispers Ultra Deluxe 2 n 1 Crib and Toddler but the price is higher, it is not fully waterproof, more prone to tear and we don't plan to use the crib for the toddler stage. One caveat: I bought the Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams for $100+ on amazon. The item was restocked through some major retailers (Toys R Us, Diapers.com) and the price dropped down to half that amount. If the price is high and you can wait, I would wait out the price fluctuations until it comes down again.
Been using it for 3 years-- Now have to Replace it
August 20, 2014
My son is now 3 and he's been using this mattress since about 2 months old. It fit in our Delta Eclipse crib. Nice, lightweight, firm, waterproof. The plastic covering is kind of noisy, but not too bad-- although when he became old enough to express it, he complained that he didn't like his bed because it was "crunchy," and so Mommy and Daddy's bed was better than his. I put a quilt on it under the sheet, and that seemed to help. When he was 1.5 years old, it became a floor bed, and I laid on it with him for about an hour at a time at night and sometimes in the morning, for almost a year. I noticed that the mattress was getting thinner from compression, maybe because it wasn't meant for an adult. For 6 months now, he's been sleeping on it in his Eclipse crib converted to a toddler bed, and the middle of the mattress is sunken in. The plastic covering has ripped in the middle on one side, too. I'm online looking for a replacement with coils now.

Easy to put together
August 1, 2017
Was very easy to put together and I am not very savvy on building furniture. Took about an hour and a half. It's nice and light. I love how sturdy it is though. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that it did come with a couple minor nicks. Nothing to serious though and easily concealed with a wood marker. I had to give it a couple days to air out as well, it smelled like brand new furniture should, and I don't think the smell would have affected the baby but just to be on the safe side. Great buy.
Lovley crib, horrible instructions
May 23, 2017
I would give 5 stars but this crib was so darn hard to put together!!! The instructions did not make sense.. Thank goodness for YouTube but even after that, it was still complicated because the stuff was so hard to screw in!!! It's a very nice crib but I never want to put one together ever again or even take it apart.
Affordable, slightly flimsy feeling crib.
May 19, 2016
Came well packaged with all necessary parts, easy instructions - took about 40 min and two of us to put together. Overall, the finish is as expected and size as stated. I will say it feels less sturdy than the mini-crib we replaced it with (i.e. a little wobbly when I grab the rails and shake as our toddler would). If you have a strong/forceful/slightly abusive toddler, I would not recommend this particular model. However, it has been standing without any issues for the past 4 months.
For the price it's nice. But
May 15, 2016
For the price it's nice. But, it's pretty basic so just know that. It's pretty light weight so if you're baby's room is on hardwood floors like ours, be prepared to invest in a decent rug. Also, the lowest setting the crib can go does not go that low so we'll have to figure something out once baby gets to the age where he can starts pulling himself up. Otherwise, we love the slate gray--goes perfect with our yellow room.
Love it !
September 8, 2015
Beautiful crib, loved the color ! It is everything I wanted. Arrived on time, It was easy to put together, the parts don't have the stickers with the letters so you just have to pay extra attention to that. I'm really happy !
I love this crib
January 12, 2015
I love this crib. It is beautiful and modern. I am only giving it 4 stars because it came slightly damaged.

Terrible cover material ages product
October 6, 2017
I bought two of these in Sep of 2015. My sons didn’t start to use them until approx June of 2016. In a little over a year the covers to both mattresses have cracked open and bat broke off. The sheets kept my children from eating any of these pieces, but did not prevent urine from soaking into the mattress. So if you do but this mattress make sure you purchase good sheets that won’t pop off when your toddler jumps on it, and a really good mattress pad that will stay in place as well. Otherwise you’re going to find a giant urine sponge if your child’s diaper leaks.and let’s be honest, they WILL leak 😫As far as the mattress itself, it wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was the right size and the kids slept well enough on it.
Prices goes up and down VERY often!!!
June 25, 2017
I wonder why..? This is a good product but clearly not the best. However you can get it listed sometimes for $32 instead of $57 that's what I pad for the first one for my other kid. So my recommendation if you want to try this mattress, add to your baby registry and check daily the price fluctuation...you might be really surprised! Good luck!!!
Perfect price and nice quality!// Fair quality, 3/5 stars
October 3, 2016
So far, the cover is doing great against any leaks, spills or potential stains! Wipes clean easily, fits in the crib great!Update: 6/25/2017Months ago the cover started to crack and crumble off. Not a huge deal, because I think you can just replace the cover? Was hoping to get in touch with manufacturer but no such luck.
Mattress Sinks and Vinyl Ripped after 2 years
November 11, 2015
I purchased this mattress just over 2 years ago for my now 27month old daughter. I hadn't experienced any problems with the mattress until recently, I noticed my daughter was "sinking" into the middle of her crib. I took her out of the crib, pulled the sheets up and noticed the vinyl had ripped clear across the middle of the mattress. It is supposedly "tear resistant", so I am not sure why this has happened. We used a mattress cover while she was in her spit-up infant days, and only removed it recently because it was so loud when my daughter moved in her sleep. It never went through any jumping or excessive bed-wetting. I don't know if the mattress started to sag first then the vinyl ripped or vice versa...Mattresses are supposed to last longer than this. The warranty just recently expired, so looks like I'm in the market for a new mattress :\ (Glad I purchased it when it was only $39!)
Does NOT fit Ikea Gulliver Crib snugly
December 15, 2014
I bought this mattress for a Ikea Gulliver crib. Although there were some reviews that said it did not fit snugly there were enough reviews saying it did that I bought it. One review said something about it fitting nicely at first and then having a gap at one end which is what happened to us. It seemed to fit fine at first but after just a day or two and it seeming to get settled in the crib there is a 2-3 inch gap at the end. Since my son is older I just stuffed a blanket in the gap and will continue to use it but wanted to share. I'm not sure how other people are saying it fits perfectly because it definitely does not. Its a good mattress and a great deal for the price but if you are looking for a good fit for an ikea crib this is NOT the mattress for you.
fits too tight
October 29, 2014
We have the DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Rail. This mattress fits really really tight. You can barely put a finger in between the crib and the mattress which is good for safety, not so good for putting on a mattress waterproof pad and sheets.I already know that i'm going to have issues during nights when my baby wets the crib, calming a baby, having to take the whole mattress out in order to be able to change the sheets... and of course, the bumper too because there is no way the mattress is coming out with the bumper in place.

THINK TWICE BEFORE GETTING IT
April 22, 2016
HiBefore i decided to buy this crib i made a lot of research and also read a ton of reviews. i saw that a lot of people were righting that the parts came not labeled and they had a difficult time to put it together. but on the other hand there were a lot of other reviews saying that it did come labeled and it was easy to build. so i went a head with it and i bought the crib. it arrived fast even though it got delayed.when i un-boxed all the parts and laid them out on the wall i saw i was in for a big surprise NONE OF THE PARTS HAD LABELS ON THEM NONE OF THEM DID . i took the instructions booklet and started trying to figure out what goes to what , it was really really frustrating a thing that could have taken me 20 minutes to build was gonna take me way longer, i was gonna put it back in the box and send it strait back to where it came from. but i am not a quitter , so i started putting the 2 sides together and when i came to connect the 3rd side i saw that it didn't make sense the holes were not aligning so i had to undo some screws and panels and had to change it around because i figured that what the instructions booklet was telling me to do was messed up and not correct, they had it all wrong. finally after an hour and a half the crib was done .over all it was messed up putting it togetherthe crib was filthy and dirty needed a good cleaningcolor is way darker then the pictures (they should use Mac's to Photoshop the pics)i give it 3 stars because i still like the crib but guys if your not handy and you have no patience to mess around and build and undo and rebuild then think twice before you get it, don't be like me thinking that you will be getting parts that are labeled cause that's what i did and i ended up not getting labeled parts.but i do gotta say that its still a very pretty crib and its bigger than what i expected so im happy and i hope my daughter will like it

Directions were vague and hard to follow, especially since the pieces weren't labeled. The crib is nice, but there were some deep scratches in the wood (they were painted over). For the price, not terrible.
Good Deal, But a Hassle To Assemble
June 5, 2015
It is sturdy and it looks good for a $100 crib. I'm not giving it a higher rating because while we were assembling it, we discovered that some of the holes were not drilled in the correct positions. If you don't mind the extra hassle and have a drill, it's not too hard to drill your own holes and put it together.

December 16, 2014
It's cheap...but you get what you pay for. Hard to follow directions. My husband had to drill addition holes because the predrilled holes did not match up. If you're not handy don't buy it. I would not have been able to put this together alone.
The springs which hold the crib up are attached funny and have a metal part that kind of protrudes ...
November 18, 2014
The other reviews that mentioned the problem with assembly were spot on--there's no markings to indicate what posts belong to which part of the crib--so after assembling it incorrectly I spent 30+ more minutes taking it apart and replacing it correctly. One (only one) of the bolts and nuts that were provided were incorrect--I contacted Storkcraft and 10 days later I had the correct piece free of charge. The mattress (a standard crib mattress 52x28) fits perfectly. The springs which hold the crib up are attached funny and have a metal part that kind of protrudes and seems like kids can stick their fingers down and get to them--not sure if this is going to be an issue. It is hard to explain this portion without being able to upload a picture. The baby is coming in a week or two so I will have to ammend this review if it becomes an issue. This is a full sized crib. Once you assemble it--be prepared to have to take it apart if you need to move rooms/get rid of it/sell it/etc. If you need to do this, I'd recommend putting letters on the bottom of the posts yourself or reassembly will be a bear again.Pros:1.Good customer service--they sent me the missing/incorrect part and were fairly easy to get on the telephone. They were very nice.2. For as low-priced as this crib is, it looks as nice as many of the $300-$500 range cribs3. It seems to be extremely sturdy, not shaky at all.4. Assembly with an allen wrench and provided nuts/bolts. No advanced hardware neededCons:1. There is only two size adjustable heights. This may be a problem if I have a c-section. I am 5'4'' and reaching down to the highest level is a challenge for me. My mother in law (who is 5'0'') stands no chance of being able to get the baby in and out without a stool.2. The problems with assembly (see above)--you have a 25% chance of actually getting this thing put together correctly on the first try as the crib pieces are not numbered/lettered and the instructions aren't entirely clear. It's not impossible, just frustrating.

No great

The mattress is already starting to bow, and has only been used by a newborn for a month. And, the top of the mattress has weird marks where she has spit up. Just not great quality and will not last.
QUESTIONABLE QUALITY
April 15, 2017
The cover on this mattress appears to be vinyl but it is VERY thin and cracks very easily. I ordered two of these and the cover on both cracked -- one after only 13 days.
Not high quality, falling apart after one year of use
July 1, 2016
This mattress worked well for our infant/toddler for a little over a year. He is not by any means a big boy but the mattress cover started tearing after only a year of use. We even flipped it when changing sheets to prevent excessive wear on either side. Now there is a giant hole in the cover right in the middle of the mattress so it is no longer waterproof or dust mite proof. It also sags noticeably in the center where he sleeps and is clearly not providing good support anymore. We had hoped to use this mattress for several years at least but now we'll have to purchase a new one.
It shrunk over time and is now not safe.
January 16, 2016
As most first time parents do, I bought this before my little babe was even born yet. I have had it ready to go in her room for about 8 months now. She has yet to sleep on it, as I was keeping her in her co-sleeper until she was 6 months. When I went to start using her crib a week ago, I realized the mattress is too small! I could have swore I triple checked the size initially because safety is so important! The only conclusion I came to is that the mattress had shrunk, but I thought I must have just had pregnancy brain when purchasing it because I didn't think that was possible. I came on Amazon to read reviews and sure enough, this has happened to other people as well! Because of the material of the mattress, the fitted sheet made the mattress shrink. Now we have to go buy a new one and our daughter didn't even use this once! We have a standard size crib, so having purchased a standard sized mattress, this shouldn't be an issue.. So disappointed.
Too small for crib, doesn't last, having to replace after 2 yrs
October 9, 2015
With our first baby I was super picky and way over the top reading reviews and over thinking everything. With our second baby, we were more relaxed and after reading these reviews I decided this mattress fit our needs and budget and would do just fine. If I had it to do over, I would not buy this mattress again. My 4 yr old still sleeps on her higher-quality crib mattress (in toddler bed) and it's still in fairly good condition. My 2 yr old has this Safety First Heavenly Dreams mattress and it's in really sad condition already! Cons- much more flimsy than typical mattress, sagging in middle, not as supportive, does NOT fit tightly in our Jenny Lind crib. Pros- the support was fine when she was a baby, and we improved the overall fit by placing her bedding bumper low so there was less room for the mattress, making a tight fit. It made changing sheets a challenge but it was ok. We removed bumpers when she was about 15mo and I was shocked by the amount of space, a good 1.5-2 inches of gap between the end of the mattress and the crib. This would be an ok mattress if you need it for short term but otherwise invest a little more for something better. My little one will be in her crib another year then convert to toddler bed for a few years, so now we are shopping for another crib mattress at 2 yrs old (seems ridiculous). Her crib was purchased new and its a popular design, so the sizing problem is not her crib.
Great in the beginning but then downhill.
February 1, 2015
Great in the beginning but after about 18 months of use the outer layer starting cracking. Now we're at 21 months and the cracks have got worse, the outer material is flaking off and holes are starting. Quite disappointing, I was expecting this matress to last through toddler bed until we get a twin/full. Preparing to purchase a replacement. I wondered if the life expectancy of crib/toddler matresses is really that short but the replacement I am considering has a 10 year warranty (this product doesn't have warranty - at least I couldn't find it). Oh, and I have twins. This issue is with both mattresses, so I do not believe its isolated to a defective product.

Crib was damaged. outside box looks fine, appears to be from the factory. Would have sent back, but there was not enough time to do so. Assembly was also a pain, as the parts aren't labeled. Cannot recommend.

Ordered two of these cribs for twins and both have holes in wrong spots....anyone else have this problem? Not very happy
Come on people...putting a sticker on the right side shouldn't be a problem!!!
April 26, 2016
I was not impressed with the misplaced stickers on the crib...the ones that said attention this is the inside of the crib....when in fact it was not the inside!!! I almost had the crib together and had to take it all back apart...I am 9 months pregnant...and I have to say I was a bit frusterated!!! Had it not been for the stickers...I would have realized the holes for the metal box spring went on the inside of the crib...ugh!!! I do love it now that it's all put together...but...I'm going to have to find some caps that fit over the screws...don't really like that they are visible from the outside of the crib.
Gives off weird fumes
April 26, 2016
It looks great but I was going crazy trying to figure out what was smelling so strongly. I threw out my brand new crib mattress but the nursery still had a strong smell, kind of burned my eyes...weird taste in my mouth, very chemical smell. I got and organic crib mattress smell still there. Bought another of these cribs ( long story) set up in a different room different house...BAM there are those crazy fumes again! I don't even have a crib mattress in there.. Crib is the only culprit..I can smell it from the next room and feel it in my eyes. I do have a sensitive nose... But I bet your baby does too.
There is no additional bar to sturdy the crib once the front is taken off to ...
April 4, 2016
Parts were not labeled to match assembly instructions. Visible gouges in wood. Defective and missing hardware. The crib has to sit 99% assembled, unable to be used, until replacement hardware comes in. Not sure how this will convert to a toddler bed as shown. There is no additional bar to sturdy the crib once the front is taken off to convert. Very disappointed in this purchase.
Paint chips
January 8, 2015
Sure, the price is low but ugh.. the quality is just awful. Don't leave a toddler in this thing for two minutes or you'll have chipped paint everywhere. Would have done much better buying a nice used crib for the price. Not happy! Crib just feels cheaply made!

Not worth the savings

We've had this mattress about 10 months now. It was compressed and sagging and losing shape within 4-5 months. I also did not find it to be great for a newborn. We had a previous mattress with an infant side and a toddler side from my older child, and we ended up giving my newborn the dual sided mattress because I was concerned with how soft this mattress was. Also, we have the same exact crib for both children, and the mattress we had before we bought this one fits much more snug. This mattress doesn't seem to fit as snag, although I would not say there was a huge gap.I would not buy again.
Choking hazard. Deteriorated after 8 months
December 10, 2016
Bought this mattress in March 2016 and by November noticed it was tearing and coming apart. As far as I can tell the bits and pieces stayed beneath the crib sheet. Very worried my LO may have swallowed some pieces.Tried to contact the manufacturer, but can't find a phone number.
Will Shrink And Sag In No Time
March 15, 2016
The mattress fit my baby's crib snugly when it first arrived. Now after six months, the length of the mattress has shrunk to where I can fit my hand sideways between the top of the mattress and side of the crib like many others have noted in their reviews. My son has only been sleeping on the mattress for about a month and it seems to be losing its firmness also. Will be looking for a new mattress.
Caused my daughter to have respiratory illness due to mold inside
February 1, 2016
Once I got this mattress, I wrote in because the smell was very chemical like and awful, I kept the sheet off of it and let it air out for a few days before I could use it. I wrote in to complain and ask about this when I first got it and they said it was normal. After a couple months of my daughter sleeping on this, she started getting non stop respiratory infections. I did some research and was steered to the possibility of the mattress causing these issues. When unzipping this mattress I found a bunch of black specks that look like mold. I have taken this off my daughter's crib and replaced it with a different mattress and hope to see my daughter feel better soon. When I tried writing to the distributor, DHPFurniture, that responded to my issues back in April, I found that the phone number and email address were no longer valid. I am not able to return this mattress and have no insight to a resolution from Amazon. I have purchased my new mattress from BabiesRUs hoping for a different outcome.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
August 29, 2015
This mattress is going back. The only good thing that I liked about this mattress was how light it is. When it arrived I could pick the mattress up with one hand. When I opened the box and squeezed the mattress I could literally crush both side of the mattress in. I then proceeded to bend the mattress in half. This is not something that I want to be able to do or think it should do. I then proceeded to put crib sheets on the mattress which caused the mattress to bow. Finally I tested it for length in the crib and it was too long...it bowed inside of the crib as well. I am extremely disappointed with this product.
BEWARE-TOO SHORT FOR STANDARD SIZE CRIBS: NOT 52.5 INCHES
June 5, 2015
Shocked that this got such great reviews. Advertised as 52.5 inches in length, it is 49 inches and does NOT fit our standard size crib. It is too short of either side. I could almost fit his entire hand between the mattress and the end of the crib. Incredibly disappointed.

Description has changed-- we bought this when it was advertised as convertible to a toddler bed. Now that we're ready for that stage, we couldn't figure out how to convert. Makes sense, now that I see all the reviews claiming false advertisement, and a sudden new product description. Even more bothersome, we paid $120 and price has since dropped to 99, likely after they were busted for selling lies. Now we have a bed that's not usable by our toddler, and we're not putting her on a full bed.
The crib showed up on time and looked like the quality was good
April 3, 2017
We purchased this crib because I did not want to deal with finding the parts to our old crib. The crib showed up on time and looked like the quality was good. The crib went together how it should until it came time to place the metal framework for the mattress. The frameworks weld where the main frame meets was welded at an angle, which made the four little hanger brackets not line up with the holes. This was beyond frustrating, and I attempted to bend the frame to make it fit but it was not possible. The crib was half assembled sitting in our living room, and I had an angry 8 month pregnant wife. After an hour of trying to make the frame work I gave up and bought a new one from the local babies r us.
I'd Rather Use it as Kindling.
March 30, 2017
It's extremely easy to put together, but anyone with basic understanding of weight and mechanics could easily see that this crib can't take a lot of weight and jolting that a toddler or infant could inflict. My main issue is the fact that this entire crib had sections drilled either too low or too high. I got in contact with the warranty replacements line, and they sent me replacements for the errored pieces. But the replacements they sent me were the WRONG PIECES. I specifically sent pictures and verified the pieces with issues in all my emails with the replacement line, and they have failed terribly. I'd use it as kindling before I put my baby in this crib.
Very upset.
March 2, 2017
Screws wouldn't go into one side to hold up springs because they hadn't set the the nut part on the wooden siding to screw into. Very upsetting as I had the crib 80% done before I saw this.
I never write reviews but thought I would on this since it is the worst purchase I have made in years
May 19, 2016
The holes were not drilled properly. Had to drill many new holes in order to assemble this crib. Also, the stickers saying which side is the inside were not all correct. Now that there are extra holes in the crib that shouldn't be there, and considering the time spent making this work, I wish I had paid a little more and gotten a different crib.I never write reviews but thought I would on this since it is the worst purchase I have made in years.HORRIBLE.
Horrible!
May 18, 2015
This is a horribly built crib. My husband was putting it together and discovered the pre-drilled holes don't line up. This will be going back.
