After 4 days the pool was up to 88 so we covered the heater with a towel to keep the pool from turning into a hot tub! Crazy good! Got the pool for the grandkids, but now my wife and I use it every day because it's so nice and warm, before, it was too cold for us to use. Maybe ours works so good because we let the filter run all day when the sun is up. If the filters not running you don't get no heat people. | Not sturdySeptember 3, 2017 I bought 3 of these. They will collapse and have to be reset up. We have no children or animals to bother them, so the only thing I can figure is, the weight of the water causes the legs to collapse. | Good build quality, but lacks deliverySeptember 22, 2017 So I had high hopes for this unit. Nice compact footprint doesn't take up much room, and very easy to setup/install. Our summers don't get hot here near the Northern California coast, but usually our backyard is between 75-80degrees. Before this, we only had a solar pool cover and it kept the pool right at 80 to 82 degrees during the day. Even when we had a hot streak of 4 days of 90 to 105 outside, the pool never got over 84 degrees. For $100 that's not enough of a change in water temp for me. Might work for some, but we did a return. Was setup for a 12' round above ground pool ~2000 gallons. Should have heated it beyond what we needed. | Flawed constructionAugust 30, 2017 I purchased two panels. The first panel failed at the leg connection. It leaked for awhile before it finally cracked all the way through. The second panel explosively failed at the leg connection three weeks later. Same problem on both panels, definitely a design/ manufacturing flaw Didn't workAugust 16, 2017 THe attachments to link them together broke before we even started the water, used something we got at Home Depot between panels (4), and panels don't seem to work well at all!! Haven't gotten to pool hotter then 75 even during 109 degree weather. Don't recommend.
