Bought this mattress for a crib I sent to my parents' house for a 10 day visit. It is a light weight basic mattress. My mother says she did not get a chemical smell from the mattress when it was opened. My kid was 5 months old at the time of the visit. I was sure with the new surroundings and new crib she would totally reject it but not at all. She slept wonderfully in the crib the entire time. For that reason I will give it five stars!

It is perfect for my dog! He's 180 pounds works great. I will say it is noisey, bit if you are using for a toddler, that's a built in alarm system!

We were scared this would not fit in our brand new crib but finally we were able to open it up and put it down and it is PERFECT. I was afraid I was not able to reach inside to pick up the baby as I am short, Nope, not the problem. Perfect on that too. I would highly recommend this and its waterproof which is another plus.

Not too soft, not too hard. No chemical smell. Great quality. What more could you ask for?

We needed new mattresses for our 15-month-old twin boys. I know some say these mattresses are noisy, but I don't think they're that bad. One of my little guys kicks his legs, which is noisy, but I don't see how it wouldn't be noisy on any other mattress. These should last them a very very long time!

My 3 year old and 9 month old both use this mattress. Keep in mind that softness is all relative. I've seen mattresses harder and softer than this and it's just about right for my tastes. It fits both the crib and toddler bed just right. My 3 year old is starting to go through the hold-your-pee-through-the-night phase and this mattress is great for those 2AM cleaning sessions. Wipe it down and put a new sheet on and your back to bed in a few minutes. Our 9 month old has also had some midnight blow-outs and sleeps well on this. I have no complaints and my 3 year old doesn't complain of aches in the morning.

I actually purchased this as a bed for my senior dog. He absouelty loves it. It’s a thin mattress and not very firm but I love that it’s waterproof. I can’t speak how it is for a human baby but my dog baby is sleeping like a baby on it 🤣

I bought it for my sons playpen. Since there is a 2 inch gap between the mattress and pen i roll up a blanket and place it in between the gap and everything is fine. My son is a year old and very active. Now when he falls I know he has something soft to fall on.

Very firm mattress and good quality. It didn't have a weird smell and doesn't crackle when you lay the baby on it. It was the perfect size for our Divinci mini crib and didn't leave space for our baby to get their limbs pinched.

Made the Pack n Play (or Play n Pack) so comfy for my grandson!

Fits in Graco play yards perfectly, and my daughter (and her cousins, when they visit) sleep much better and longer than before I bought it.

doesn't quite fit inside of my graco pack n play, but gets the job done. My baby doesn't love it, but she will sleep on it if its necessary. If its going to be your permanent mattress, you may want to look into something softer and fluffier.

Be careful when fitting a mattress with a toddler crib. This mattress is 6" and some bed frames require 5" or less. The mattress seemed like quality but had to return due to its thickness.

The mattress is a bit noisy given the spill proof vinyl material, however once our baby boy got used to it, he didn't seem to be bothered by it any longer.

Better than the cheapy mattresses they have At the stores near us. Just right amount of firmness and softness to it. Baby is sleeping well on it.

I am so glad I took a chance on this mattress. We were a little leary purchasing online without touching or feeling it but the reviews aided in my decision. My 19month old LOVES IT. She slept on it last night for the first time and slept ALL NIGHT. I am beyond thrilled. With her being able to sleep all night on it means mommy and daddy got some sleep. The recommended rock hard infant mattress that she had no longer suited her. its only been 1 night, so for now, i'm a happy camper and satisfied customer. the specs listed are just as it says. the mattress is not too hard or too soft - its just right. if your baby wakes up in the middle of the night 3-4 times per week, consider a softer mattress. It works!

This mattress fits my Mini crib well. I am assuming mattresses need to be firm, but these mattresses seem very firm. I would not want to lay on it, but the babies don't seem to mind.

This seemed fine when it arrived, but I returned it since I no longer needed it.

I wish this was the right size for a pack and play. That's the reason for the 4 vs 5 star review. The baby didn't sleep in the pack and play well when we first tried. We purchased one of these mattresses knowing that it would be just off. It leaves about 2 inches on the long side and we put a towel down rolled very tightly and haven't had any issues. The baby sleeps so much better on this than before.

My baby has not been born yet, but I am thinking this mattress will be just fine. It is definitely very firm (my husband thinks we need a softer one, but I know babies need firm mattresses - we are first time parents).

I like this mattress, and it fit the crib I bought perfectly, but I feel like it's too hard. There's almost no give at all, and I wish my baby had some softness while she sleeps since she doesn't use a pillow yet. Other than that, it's a good mattress.

Delivered as advertised. The sewn is not the top quality, the threads seemed to be loose/coming out some places. The outer plastic coating looks okay, but time will tell how durable the mattress actually is.

Just received the mattress today -- we intended to use it as a crib mattress for our infant (six weeks old), but it is way too soft for that. My two year old son has a foam mattress that was a bit more expensive, but much better firmness and over quality, so I wish we would have ordered that one first instead of taking the cheaper alternative. We will be rehoming this one to someone who can use it for a toddler or older child!You pay for what you get -- I recommend spending a bit more and getting a mattress that's better quality. This one is squishy and you can feel the coils. Can't imagine it would be comfortable, especially compared to the foam crib mattress we are used to.

The mattress is very supportive with the high coil count. However, the shipping carton is very thin and flimsy cardboard that is not acceptable. The mattress was delivered with one corner damaged and a hole in one facing. After removing the mattress from the carton I discovered that one corner of the mattress is damaged and distorted. The mattress facing where the hole was is also damaged.

It's firm but as baby gets older you will need to pad with some soft blankets under a fitted sheet; else baby won't sleep.

This bed isn't as form as what I thought. We have only had it for a few weeks. So I can't give the best review of it yet. But it almost didn't fit in our convertible toddler bed. It is so long.

the quality is fine but it is missing few inches to fit the crib properly and I have very standard Graco crib.

I also made this mistake of getting this; it does not fit pack n plays! Totally fine as a matrresss just not what I needed.

I bought this mattress to go with the mini crib I purchased at the same time. It was supposed to fit but seems a bit loose.

its OK, somewhat on the hard and thin side for me but other that OK. can only fit in the mini crib or playpen

Nice quality but was too firm for my little one and he refused to sleep on it. It did fit his pack and play perfectly. Sorry I had to return it.

ordered this, recieved a Dream on Me foam mattress. just a touch too firm but overall it feels pretty safe and fit our mini crib perfectly. i dont see this plastic cover but it doesn't smell funky or like chemicals so i gave it a good wipe down and my baby happily spread out on it. time will tell! but a cheap and decent solution.

Pretty saggy where baby lays and he's only 2 months old. I think I'll end up having to replace much sooner than I'd like. It's definitely not holding its support for very long. I've even been rotating and flipping it.

Not nearly firm enough. I'd get a different one if we weren't going to be moving our daughter out of her crib soon anyway. Sorry.

too soft. this company used to produced very firm, heavy, and solid product, but not any more. now all i can find under this brand are filmsy stuff

This mattress is way too soft for a baby, and it's not like comfy-couch-soft, it's more like it just has zero support. It feels like if I laid it on the floor and stood on it, my feet would almost touch the floor underneath it. It doesn't seem like it would be comfortable to sleep on, due to the lack of support, but my kid doesn't seem to mind. I would not recommend it.

Maybe I'm reacting too quickly, but this mattress STINKS. Even after airing overnight outside, the smell is nasty, like a cross between tobacco and insecticide. I'm hoping it improves, and quickly.

We moved our daughter to a toddler bed at two. A year later I noticed that the springs in her mattress had become very prominent. It was still her crib mattress so I figure that's the intended lifespan. Bought this as a replacement based on positive reviews and reasonably high spring count. Two months later I lean into it and I feel a spring. She's not a jumper (well, she uses our bed for that) so I guess it just can't handle 35 lbs.

Like everyone else as stated it is too small for a mini crib but with the other thin mattress on the bottom it's fine. I mean you get what you paid for. It's a cheap mattress I'll probably replace it with a better one once I have the money.

Twice came with the wrong size have to return to get the correct size.

Not a great cushion

Comfortable but it left about one inch of space between mattress and the crib which is a safety hazard. The crib was a dream on me portable crib and this was the mattress suggested by the manufacturer which you would think would fit properly.

Does not fit standard pack n play, too narrow. Might be ok for another crib that it fits in but even still its a little flimsy. For the price it is fine and I would have kept it if it fit.

The product itself is good, so I hate to give it a less than stellar star rating but I want to advise this mattress doesn't fit the graco pack n play on the go portable crib like I had seen noted in some reviews. Maybe if you're fine with sticking a towel in between the gap you could get away with it, but it's about 2 inches too short width and length. I went with a little larger dream on me product. As I stated earlier, still a good product just didn't work for my graco portable crib like advertised.

Waterproof cover is loud and uncomfortable. My son will be sound asleep and if we lay him on this mattress once he moves alittle the crinkle wakes him up. (He is not a light sleeper, he sleeps through vacuuming and other loud noises)

Mattress sagged after few months of use, makes too much noise, not good quality at all. Can't even return because bought it before the babies arrival! Very disappointed with this purchase.

Terrible! When the mattress arrived it had a tear on the seam. Requested a replacement, arrived asap. Second mattress, same problem different spot! As they say..you get what you pay for! Kept the mattress because I needed it. If I have to purchase another I will find another manufacturer.

Where you see the logo sewn in across the corner it was pulled so tight it was rippled and the seam was coming apart from it being pulled so tight.

The waterproof surface makes my lil one sweat a lot, I hate it. I will areturn it asap. In the description ot says the side pockets provide air circulation, but there this surface is not breatheable and so bad for the baby, I would never buy it if I knew it before.

I purchased this product based on the good reviews on amazon (which are most often reliable). My son is just 3 months old and weighs about 12 lb. Within a week of using it, i noticed a huge depression where his head typically lies. This mattress obviously lacks support and I can see this being a safety issue for an infant. Take a look at the other reviewers who have rated this item as poor- they had identical complaints. Amazon is great and sent a courier service to pick this item up from my home for return. I've decided to go with the Moonlight Slumber Little Dreamer Dual Firmness All Foam Crib Mattress (~$180) based on the recommendation from the Baby Bargains Book. I'm purchasing this from amazon as well due to their excellent customer service. Fingers crossed!

to small for that bed

I only gave this one star because it was not what I was expecting at all. If you're looking for an extra firm mattress for your infant then you will love this. I was expecting something comfortable, possibly similar to the same comfort level as a normal size crib mattress. This mattress is WAY too hard. There's no way I would put my son on this.

It's like laying on a rock. Its harder than the bottom of the pack 'n' play I got it for. I'll be returning this.

This is a very good mattress however it is extremely HARD!!! My 3 month old tosses and turns every night bc this mattress is way to hard. As a newborn there was no problem. She actually sleeps better when she falls asleep on the carpet when playing on her play mat.

I wanted a baby mattress not a Baby Rock Mattress. One thing is for the mattress to be firm and another totally different is for it to be as hard as cement.It's with a baby that we are dealing with here and this item shouldn't even be allowed to be sold in my opinion.Since my baby "sleeps" on this she hasn't been able to get in a good nap on it and it's just been a bad/negative experience. I was expecting a totally different product.Maybe this works for a dog or for something else but I definitely do not recommend this item for any baby or for any baby to have to go through the experience of having to try and sleep on an item this hard.

This mattress is hard! I honestly don't think it would be any more comfortable than the thin mattress that comes with the pack n'play. I exchanged it for the Dream on Me playard mattress which is much softer. This mattress might be fine for a newborn who needs to be on a firm mattress but I felt like my toddler deserved something a little softer!
