Works GreatJuly 1, 2015 This gadget is perfect for boosting the pool temp in the spring; we added two black rubber garden hoses and ran them around the pool deck which gets super hot from the sun. The water that comes out is unbelievably warm and without burning fossil fuel. It is made of plastic so don't think it will last long but the design is brilliant; just screw it into one of the jet outlets. When the temp rises in early summer it can be stored and the hose used in the yard. I would highly recommend this. | | | |

Water coming out of the hose gets pretty hot. I can't say it makes a huge difference in warming the pool, but it definitely helps and at that cost, there isn't much to lose by trying it. The plastic is very cheap thus threads do not catch and hold to pool fitting, that is, when trying to attach the garden hose the Beluga device slips out of the pool fitting. Usually takes about five tries to get it to stay in place. If it was manufactured using a rigid type plastic it would probably be a great product.
