It is quite generous in size, heavy material with great fasteners. I seriously can't believe a product is this great for the price. I just bought a fire table cover from a different company and it arrived today. Not anywhere near the heavy quality this cover is. I searched for the size I needed for the table cover and this seller didn't have it. So sad. If you need any covers this company has I'd go with it in a heartbeat. THANK YOU!!!! Don't be afraid to order if your unit has smaller dimensions than the cover itself. This one fits my square A/C unit perfectly, with room to spare and even has a nice little opening to accommodate the electrical lines. The sturdy drawstring cord at the bottom guarantees a snug fit, and the "breathability" of the material will help prevent condensation build up underneath. Good quality at a great price, and the neutral colors are nice too. We're expecting lots of rain here in California this winter, (fingers crossed!) so this waterproof and highly wind-resistant cover should work perfectly. Good quality and priceNovember 24, 2014 Excellent cover for my air conditioner. It comes with a built in snap that locks around the base of the electric/cables etc. so that it will never blow away. Good price for such good quality. I have one of those frost king silver covers before that always blew off even with the bunge thingy that comes with it that eventually gets lost. For a few extra bucks this cover is so much better. The only negative thing to say would be the base of the cover has a elastic draw string that works just ok. This is the 3rd product I have purchased from Classic Accessories, the first was a BBQ cover for my Weber grill, the second a cover for my outdoor umbrella, all three are well made from high quality materials.
I have a Carrier unit that measures 35" X 35 1/2" across the top, partly because the top is slightly concave. The specifications for the Veranda air conditioner cover are 34" X 34". I have seen numerous post asking if the cover will stretch or if it will fit a slightly larger unit like a 35" X 35". The answer is yes it will slide on and do the job although the seams may not line up perfectly with the outer edges of a 35" X 35" unit. The material doesn't have much stretch, but I had enough play to adjust it sufficiently cover the top without the sides being to snug. Once I had it situated the way I wanted it, I adjusted the two bungee cord straps to batten it down. The best thing about this product is the price, its an absolute bargain for a quality made cover. | | | |

Great ItemApril 14, 2015 The item purchased is more than sufficient to meet the need at hand. Good heat pump winter cover for the price w/ a nice large sizeNovember 29, 2014 This heat pump cover really works. It is important to keep as much snow and moisture out of the heat pump as possible. We have a good amount of snow in the NE, and the heat pump is not exposed to the sun enough to dry it out. The cover is large enough to cover my Hayward HeatPro (HP21404T - dimensions: 30.25 w x 34 d x 44 h). The cover has draw strings to adjust the height and then pull the extra material around the heat pump tighter (check out photos). It also has a small vent on the sides to prevent condensation from building up inside. The cover also has a little felt inside to make it a little more durable and protect the heat pump.
The cover looks like it will get a little brittle if exposed to the sun too much. That's usually not the case during the winter. However, at the great price Amazon offers, I don't expect a cover to last more than a couple of winters. I'm more than happy to protect my crazy expensive heat pump by buying a new cover every few years. My grill cover has held up nicely. The fire pit cover has a stress rip where the handle on the screen rubs the underside of the cover. So I took off one star for durability. Aside from the rip, which I will fix, I am very pleased with the construction of these covers and the quality of the fabric and and the tie down straps. These the best covers I have owned so far. Does the job although the fit isn't perfect.October 30, 2015 Does what it's supposed to do. I couldn't find a cover that would fit my AC unit perfectly so I just settled for the standard 34x34x30 size which is actually way to wide for my unit but the extra width adds to the inch missing from depth (31" tall). I put the cords through the appropriate opening, pulled the draw string extra tight to close around the bottom and used some extra bungee cords I had to wrap around the unit just to make sure it was secure. I also have the Classic Accessories grill cover which does what it's supposed to do and all the covers in my back yard match (as if I really cared about that. Lol) Well built, does the jobDecember 25, 2013 After leaving my air conditioners exposed to the elements and a very harsh North Eastern winter last year, I thought I ought to protect them a bit better this year. These covers should do the job. They seem sturdy and provide good coverage over the units. The drawstring at the bottom is effective at getting a tight fit and they haven't blown off in a fairly strong wind so that isn't a concern. There are two flaws for which I deducted a star.
1. I have two AC units, one taller than the other. The cover is too short by about 3 inches for this unit but covers the other perfectly. I don't know why there is a height difference but I think it will only be a minor inconvenience. I was more concerned about protecting the tops anyway.
2. The cover is pretty ugly. It would have been nice to have a couple color options. A neutral grey would have been better. look great, but one problem.December 6, 2013 Listen, i have one of these things for everything. Both AC units, wood rack, two sets of furniture, two chaise lounges; you would think i have stock in these Veranda covers. i think they look great and they fit perfectly. I have one criticism though; there is only two corners that can be buckled down. Of the four corners, only two have these snap type straps (similar to a dog collar), that you can use to lock down the cover. In severe wind, which we recently had here in the northeast, the covers were blowing off at the unstrapped corners. As much as I love them, i wish they would have had the buckles on all four corners. i toyed with the possibility of giving 3 stars, but stuck with 4 because of how much i like them, despite the design flaw. Bungee cords here i come. Good cover, wish it had better options to secure it to AC unit.November 24, 2013 I am a fan of the Veranda cover series, I have them for my grill, my offset umbrella, and my log racks. The fabric of the cover is tough but flexible, even in the cold. The colors are nice and blend in with my landscapig better than some of the garish colors of other colors. I only gave four stars though because, compared to other covers in the line this cover does not secure as well. The only mean of securing the cover is by a plastic buckle on nylon webbing in one corner that goes around the power cables on the bottom corner of the AC unit. There is elastic and a toggle to cinch the bottom of the cover smaller but even after doing this the cover was very loose on my AC unit and likely would blow off in the winter wind. I added a brick to the three unsecure corners to anchor the cover better. I would suggest to the manufacturer that small loops be added to the cover so that stakes can be used to secure the cover if the consumer wishes to do so. | | | |

The slit is located at the bottom of the cover and my pipes are at the top, so there is no way to cover the whole unit.

Good Fit, Nice Looking but Short Life ExpectancyJune 2, 2014 We use this cover to protect our round swimming pool heat pump unit when it is not in use. We find the cover to be very attractive, and made of a high-quality "canvas-like" material. The tie-cord embedded in the lower fabric seam is very handy for securing the cover to the unit. We expect to get many years of use from this product.
The preceding were my unedited original comments that were first posted for my Nov. 2013 purchase. It is now May 2016, and 2-1/2 years later. Portions of the cover have begun to harden, crack and rip. I was very pleased up until now at how well the cover has stood up to the outdoor elements, and since it is a fabric-based product I did not expect it to last forever. We use this in Florida where it gets a huge amount of exposure to the sun. For the "premium" price as compared to product made of plastic, I would have expected it to last about 5 years, not half that time. So I have reduced my rating from 5-stars to 3-stars to reflect the abbreviated time period it has provided very good service. | | | |

The cover looked sloppy and did not conform to the shape of my Hayward Heat Pro unit very well at all. Overall not satisfied with the product. | After 3 attempts, still received damaged cover.November 15, 2016 These are absolute garbage. The first one I received was ripped, the second one I received had frayed bungee cords and the third replacement I received the bungee cord pulled right out. The material feels very cheap and I can't see it making it through even one winter. I would NOT buy this. I am sending all three of mine back.
