Five Star Reviews: | 82% Great value! June 16, 2016 These worked just as well as the name-brand thermal laminating sheets I have used! Because they are one piece to do the front and back (folded in the middle), it is very easy to get a document or photo all situated to put through the laminator. I have used these in multiple laminators and never had a problem. I have also used them on photos, regular weight computer paper, colored paper, and cardstock, and they have performed well with each type. The 5 Mil weight has been perfect for anything that I need to be a little more durable/stiff. I have used them to laminate dot-to-dot sheets so my children could use a dry-erase marker and reuse them again and again. They have also been great for laminating some quiet book pages I made, as well as the pieces that needed to withstand the frequent velcro-ing. I am very pleased with them! I would definitely recommend these to anyone with an at-home laminator who needs an inexpensive, but quality product for their laminating needs. If you found this review helpful, I would very much appreciate you giving me a "thumbs up". And if you have any questions, I'd be more than willing to answer them to the best of my ability! Great For Light to Medium Projects July 18, 2015 Adore these sheets! I purchased them for use on Print and Play games from Kickstarter and general use in both of my libraries. These are nice and thin before use, and harden right up when run through the machine. Some of the items I've laminated, like bathroom/locker passes take heavy use daily and typically last 4-6 months before needing to be replaced. For items that I've laminated that are lower usage, like signs or wipe off boards, they are still going strong. I would definitely recommend these for your medium-usage projects. With heavy usage projects, just be aware that they will need to be replaced every few months. Laminating paper for my wifes class. June 26, 2013 My wife goes through this paper like wild fire. She laminates everything for her class and has used this paper for 1000's of things for her class with no complaints. Ignore the bad reviews June 12, 2013 This product works great with the Swingline GBC Laminator. I read a few bad reviews about it. 100 sheets for around $10 is definitely a good deal. It makes laminating affordable. Great value! March 28, 2013 I'm a Speech Language Pathologist in Manhattan, which means I can't carry around bulky materials. This means a ton of file-folder games, laminated card sets, and other stuff to "bulk up" what clients have in their homes to use. I bought a cheap laminator (Purple Cow) a few months back and needed a cheap set of sheets that would help me churn out volume. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these for the price! Purchasing another set now-- never saw a bubble; never had a sheet "kink up" on me while running it through the laminator. They work perfectly and are SO MUCH cheaper than any other sheets this size I've seen in brick-and-mortar stores. Highly recommended for at-home projects. Great price Great Product & Fast Shipping! November 20, 2012 I bought 1 box and tested the quality. It was good. Then I bought another 2 more few months ago and then another 2 about weeks ago.It always comes out good from the laminator, flat, attached well, no bubbles. I am happy with it, cheaper and affordable. That is why I purchased from the same seller again for 3 times. | 81% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 10% Seemed to good to be true May 18, 2017 Good deal! not hesitate to buy it quickly. this is actually a great product I am ordering more Perfect condition, easy to use This made my life this week awesome!!! Use the 3 mil setting March 29, 2017 I did not have any problems with the lamination. All of my cardstock pieces went through my Scotch home lamination machine and came out looking beautiful. It was set to the 3 mil setting. I always leave 2-3 millimeters of plastic edge around each items when I cut out it because it prevents any separation. My only issues was that occasionally, the top corner of the laminating pouch might turn under and come out the other side that way or the plastic between pieces might be a tad stretched looking, but since I am cutting out all the pieces this did not effect anything for me.WARNING! DO NOT use this pouch with a 5 mil setting on the Scotch home lamination machine! I tried this once because I thought some really thick cardboard would need the higher setting, but I was wrong The pouch melted too much and get jammed then ruined what I was laminating. As long as you are using 3 mil plastic pouches, then you need to use the 3 mil setting. 3 mil can handle thicker cardstock. I have used almost 100 pouches so far and would definitely buy it again. Good for compulsive lamonators ;) October 9, 2016 As a homeschooler, I might be a little obsessed with laminating things. I use my laminator to make reusable dry erase activities, as well as preserve artwork, or make paper crafts more durable. Because of the sheer volume of laminating that I do at home, I do tend to "go cheap" with laminating pouches. These fit the price category I was willing to pay, and so far they have worked just fine. I do have the occasional bubbling, or a sheet that doesn't want to melt onto the paper fully, but those are few and far between. These sheets are thinner than some others I've used, which I like. Overall, these are a good value. Great Value! May 15, 2016 I have gotten into the home binder making. I purchased this set of thermal laminating sheets and a laminator and the day they showed up I whipped them out and fired it up! After utilizing about 15 sheets I can say these are a good investment. I didn't have any problems running them thru a laminator or getting a good seal. Once heated the sheets are completely clear. I will definitely purchase another pack one I have laminated everything in my house, HAHA! Great for not so important documents, January 3, 2014 For the price you can't beat the amount of laminating sheets. I use these sheets for projects and activities in my preschool classroom. The quality is average. If you see bubbles in sheets just run it through laminator again! When it comes to extremely important documents I would not use these laminating sheets. I recommend the scotch laminating sheets for important documents. | 6% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 2% Good for pice, but they curl. February 6, 2017 These are decent for the price, but ours curl after lamination and do not naturally sit flat. Three Stars August 20, 2016 Worked ok with my laminators but sometimes the sheets would stick in the laminators because they would get soft Fine, but not great. July 15, 2016 Not as expected. I would not use them for laminating photos or artwork, but they work okay in a pinch for things you need to keep but not look at too much. Very cloudy, not glossy and not clear, pouch doesn't stick to paper thoroughly, the "border" around the document is very pronounced.. Tested on both Amazon Basics laminator and two different Scotch machines with smooth bristol, regular copy paper and Neenah cardstock. Works June 23, 2016 Good thickness, not the best lamination. Not always close enough to edge of paper and gets a bit bumpy. but it's not as good as the sheets that came with my Fellowes Laminator ... July 12, 2014 Works well, but it's not as good as the sheets that came with my Fellowes Laminator I bought from Costco. It does the job, but for whatever reason, this laminating clear sheets have a ton of static. It's always a challenge opening it and inserting the papers because everything sticks. 3 Mil Clear Letter Size Thermal Laminating Pouches 9 X 11.5 July 7, 2014 I don't know if it is my laminator or if these are not the same quality as the Scotch laminate pouches. They seem to get more wrinkles and bubbles in them than the previous Scotch product. Wish I had purchased a smaller quantity to try first. They work, but ........ like the old saying, you get what you pay for. These might be fine in smaller size. | 4% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 3% As a pre-k teacher I laminate a lot of items ... December 2, 2016 As a pre-k teacher I laminate a lot of items. These sheets are not sticking the the items and are peeling off the cardstock once cut. Now I have to not only re-print and remake center items I have to buy more laminating pouches. If you plan on using them as whole sheets you might be ok. Pages a little too thin compared to other 3mil. ... March 13, 2016 Pages a little too thin compared to other 3mil. Seems to not melt as well or something so leaves some silvering. Looked great, UNTIL I they were used... August 8, 2015 I was so excited for these, not only for the price, but that when I first laminated everything, they all looked great. I made about 40 file folder games for my kids. Then, when I cut out the pieces, they started to peel, so I had to use an iron to reseal them because the pieces were too little to get resealed in the machine. Within the first use of each file folder, this has either peeled off of the pieces or the actual file folder. My daughter was even able to tear a piece in half. I will try and reseal them again, but I may just have to re laminate them with a different brand of pouches. If you are using them for things that won't get a lot of hands on use, these would work okay. But, for the reason I got them, they were very disappointing. Not worth the money - use amazon brand instead! August 13, 2014 These laminating sheets were cheap in price, but cheap in quality too. I am a kindergarten teacher and I am constantly using my personal thermal laminator to laminate everything from copy paper, card stock, construction paper, you name it. From the very first time we used these laminating pouches, we could tell they were much more flimsy than other brands we have used in the past. Every time we use them, the leading edge of the lamination curls up and messes up whatever is in the pouch. I would instead recommend the amazon basics brand laminating pouches for a good value price and much higher quality product. like a magnet June 27, 2014 I find these pouches too flimsy and they pick up hair, lint etc. like a magnet. For a few more cents, I would rather buy the Scotch pouches. | 2% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 3% Doesn't fully laminate!! August 31, 2017 Terrible product! All the sheets I run through my laminator don't fully laminate on the edges and they open and they look terrible!! Very disappointed. One Star January 30, 2017 They leave a thick bubble around the things I laminated and then they peel apart. Not a perfect finish. Leaves tiny dot like areas all over laminated page. March 23, 2016 Only use if you don't care about the way the paper looks. Leaves tiny but noticeable little dot like areas on sheet once laminated. I tired side by side with the overpriced GBC® HeatSeal® UltraClear and the difference is night and day. I will chuck these and go buy the overpriced ones cause they are notably better. Packaging is better too on GBC. These just come with a basic box that is too thin and can dent or ding easily for something this hefty. You get what you pay for I guess :( I have nothing but complaints of these laminating sheets. ... September 23, 2015 I have nothing but complaints of these laminating sheets . They consistently curl up on the edges & ruin the documents I am trying to make durable. Completely contradicting the point of laminating them! I just had one roll all the way around & around the rollers in my laminating machine. Luckily it did not break it. Save your money! May 9, 2014 I purchased these laminating pouches after using another brand (Universal) and they were AWFUL! They had little to no "static cling", as it were, for the item you're laminating to stick to the plastic...so it won't slide as you put it in the machine. As a result, they bubbled easily. And even on the items I was successful in getting in the machine without slippage and no bubbles, when I cut out my pieces, the plastic came apart and peeled easily off the items. Total product failure! Waste of time and money. | 7% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
