I'll come back with a follow up if I experience dead spots or other issues. I chose this model because you can play against the computer, and the LED screen is nice and large an on the bottom of the target area so it's easy to see. Playing against computer makes practicing fun. My last board did not have that.Yes, the stock darts are crap but OK for kids. Pick up a set with order. Many decent starter sets for cheap available. I have the fat cat jar of darts for the kids. Not bad. I use them for practice. I grab a handful of darts and practice the bull with the board turned off. I have the laser line as well. It's cool. Not essential but adds a nice touch. I saw a review where he had trouble setting the laser line because it is tight. There is a tension screw on the laser. Loosen the screw, set the line, tighten the screw. No problem. I also saw comments about the darts sticking too tight in the board. I'll admit the darts stick a little tighter that my last board, but you should never try to yank a soft tip dart straight out of the board. Twist to the right like a screw (while keeping the dart straight), the dart loosens, then pull straight out. Don't bend while twisting; you'll break the tip. Excellent board fit for all ages. Surprising great customer serviceJanuary 10, 2017 Excellent board. Screen cracked from stray dart withing first week of play. GLD replaced it with 2 day shipping. Excellent customer service in my book. We added a plexiglass screen over original screen held away by two piece double sided foam tape. No further issues with stray darts. Kids and friends love it. It's a hitJanuary 22, 2016 I purchased this as a gift for my 12 year old son for Christmas, to hang in his new "mancave." I wanted to find a middle range dartboard, since he and his friends wanted to play darts, but were by no means experts. I didn't want a cheap game, that would frustrate them, but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. I also wanted an electronic scorekeeping game, since my son and his friends are not really savvy with that, and I thought this could help them learn.This fit the bill perfectly. Met all of my criteria!!! The board itself is GREAT! It's a hit! The only thing is the darts are on the cheap side, and I had to replace after a few days. No big deal. I expected that....just not so soon, and not the entire dart. I had bought extra tips, but I ended up buying a new set up inexpensive but more durable darts, and we're good to go now.There was a lot of discussion in other reviews when I was researching about darts sticking/bouncing out. I find that with "good aim," the darts to stick well in this board. It does stand to reason that if the dart hits plastic, as opposed to one of the small holes, it's going to bounce out. | Lots of fun.February 4, 2017 Works great. The only problem we've had is that it doesn't always register when a dart hits, but it's an easy fix. It's fun to have all the games from which to choose, and the voice prompts. Lots of fun - darts stick WELL (maybe too well)January 3, 2017 The darts stick VERY well (TOO well in fact) ! BE VERY CAUTIOUS to "twist" clockwise when removing your darts ! Those things really stick in there. I'm ok with that for now, as I would rather have them stick too much than "bounce outs" that don't stick at all. But, it takes some getting used to when retrieving your darts. As a matter of fact, my only negative (thus 4 stars instead of 5) is that if you are not VERY careful in pulling out the darts, you will get an "err 20" (Error code #20 which is NOT EVEN ADDRESSED in the owner's manual). Trial and error concluded that an "err 20" is when you pull a dart out, and it pulls the entire panel loose with it (which is difficult to determine). Simply remove the dart, and gently push the panel back into place. That seemed to take care of it. And after thinking about dart removal and "twisting" EVERY TIME, no more trouble. Other posts claimed that the volume was too low...we sure didn't have that trouble ! We were cranking Van Halen, AC/DC, Scorpions, etc and heard the mechanical voice of the board just fine (with no music, it is defaulted to LOUD). Super variety of games, and variations of the games make for almost endless combinations of new fun. The only reason 4 stars is that the darts are a little hard to pull out and it takes for ever to go to the next player if you forget to hit the next player button. So far so goodJanuary 17, 2016 So far so good, 1 month of solid use and I like it. The one issue is that you need to use light weight darts, like the ones that come with it. Heavier darts get lodged in the board and need pliers to get the tip out. Having said that, the darts that come with it work well, but break somewhat easily, not just the soft tips, but the flights. If you can live with replacing cheap darts with cheap darts fairly often, than this is a great board. | | | |

| I love the cricket score boardJanuary 19, 2017 The plastic rings around the doubles was coming off before I even used it. I love the cricket score board. Has everything I need for cricket. I just have some concerns with the longevity of the board and that is why I gave it a 3. Simply because the rings that hold the receiving pads on the dartboard are coming off on the one side. I will prob have to glue it at some point as extracting darts from it over time will seem to make it worse. Too lazy to send back so I kept it. Cheapest board I could find that has the entire cricket score board. spent $80 which I thought was a good price. Hope this helps. Not the best, not the worst.December 27, 2016 The board itself does what it's advertised to do, but compared to an Arachnid board I'm not impressed. The best feature of this board is the mostly comfortable wide LED screen that you can see from the shooting line and displays all the information you would want to see.The outside 'tire' area bounces out 99% of the time, although most home wall boards I have used have that problem. Regular bounce outs occur maybe 20% of the time, not bad overall. I already got a few tips broken stuck in the board, I bought the tip removal tool and they popped out easily.The board allows you to switch from single bull to double bull for any game, it's very nice to have that feature to practice league 301/501.The laser sensor is a mixed blessing. You have to manually measure and calibrate the sensor, it's VERY difficult to aim and line up perfectly. It is very stiff and the slightest movement will send it inches one direction or another... but once you get it lined up, it's rather efficient.The darts that come with the board are a joke of course, even more so than usual: they seem to be designed for children-sized players. However, if you're buying a $150 dart board I'm sure you have a better set already.The sound effects are cheesy and full of static like a drive-through speaker, but thankfully you can disable the sound completely. Speaking of: I have to disable sound when playing cricket because when you miss any dart it will make a rather annoying scratching sound and say 'misssssss!' Viper techs should have been slapped in the head with a large herring for that one.All-in-all, I'm not going to send it back, but I certainly wouldn't have picked this board had I the chance to try it first. It has sound and the screen can be easily read from 10 feet away. It was quick to install and is a great addition to my man cave. My friends enjoy coming over and playing a few games on it. It is also very well priced. It is a good beginner board, since it is a low price.A couple of feedback items. The darts that come with this set are short, and the fins break easily. I bought new darts pretty quick once i realized this. You have to make sure you hold the bottom of the board when removing darts from the board, as you can accidentally give the other team points. With so many options, the instructions can be a little difficult, (especially after a few drinks). I wish it had a few more buttons and easier, more intuitive instructions (like resetting someones score due to the board not recognizing it)Overall, I would recommend this to my friends if they were in need of a electronic board. I understand my review seems critical, but i do like this board, and I use it frequently. I just hope Viper makes some upgrades in the next version. Three StarsMarch 2, 2016 dart tips kept breaking. There are dead spots on the board including the double bullseye where it doesn't register points. The bottom part of the board where the scoring is located also started to warp after one month. | NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!September 11, 2017 plugged in once and lit up, next time...NADA! Called the customer service number and got "bumped" to another number (one digit higher?). Power supply works fine with correct output voltage. Screen on dartboard absolutely blank. Can't dig into the backside as that voids the warranty (WHICH I REALLY DOUBT IS WORTH A CRAP). Worthless Asian manufactured crap. Not worth the money spent. AND, I'm really displeased that I can reach no one in CUSTOMER SERVICE (?). The board has come off the wall when trying to remove the darts. At no point are the Darts being thrown so hard they are getting stuck. It's the way the plastic board is made. If you don't remove them in time the next players turn starts and will register points from that spot. The cover at the bottom that displays the different games and their numbers as well as the buttons to select how many players, power button, etc... is coming off. It's very cheaply made. I guess if this was going in an area/room that it wasn't going to be used for more than 6 months max before it falls apart this is the dart board for you.
