So far so good. This little guy is doing exactly as it supposed too.Easy to setup.I've gone as far as using white plastic dip to make it white so it blends in under the eve at the front door. Pictures attached.Working extremely well with Synology Surveillance Station. Continuous recording with Event notifications, which also takes a 10 second video in the detection zone. This is all done under Synology.Item to Note. Phylink shows 2 different firmware on their site. Make sure you to navigate to the camera and select the firmware. This is the correct firmware and will give you color. DO NOT go to Support -> Firmware drop down, it shows a newer firmware that is only Black & White video. You can see the version umber on the end below.Color - FIRMWARE_EN_PHYLINK_PLC_129PW_60HZ_V6.14B20161009B&W - FIRMWARE_EN_PHYLINK_PLC_129PW_60HZ_V6.15B20161108
Worked beautifully for me
May 8, 2017
This device is the real thing. It helped me find a offender who had been vandalizing my office. I am grateful to the company for making this product. It's the real thing. So, some notes on my experience:• The camera is highly configurable (like I wanted a lower FPS (frames per second) than the default). I configured it through the web browser interface. It shows up as a computer on my home network, when I plugged it into my router (it has a wireless antenna too, for wireless routers). Software is professional quality (although the web interface can slow down, requiring a reboot of the device - but that is just during configuration). I had the device reboot every night (done through a configuration setting). Regardless, in deployment, it worked flawlessly.• The trickiest part of deploying the camera was building an enclosure for the camera. I used balsa wood, and a small cardboard picture box to house the camera and hold it in place at the right angle. Don't futz with a plastic box, it's too hard to work with IMO. Even with a Dremel tool set.• The "record on motion detection" feature is amazing. Makes coming up with individual files for later viewing and presentation much easier, with no need for video editing software at all. I set it to record for a minute after motion stopped.• I wish the cord from the camera and power cables were black, to be less visible and obvious (they're white). I got around this by wrapping the cord from the camera in black electrical tape.• When deploying, there are three components: The camera unit itself, the tiny computer to which the camera connects, and the power cable. You need to find a way to hide these. Be creative. A cardboard box can do the trick.• Tech support is done over email. They're responsive. I had responses within 12 hours, if not much sooner.• Camera gets warm. Had no impact on performance when it was deployed.• There are a lot of configuration settings (you can accept the defaults of course, which are fine). But you need to read the manual to get the most out of the device.Okay, now the biggest weirdness/beef with the product: So, I was trying to create an enclosure (I was still working with a plastic box at this point). I was bending the camera to the side and it slipped, and whipped against the side of the enclosure. When I plugged it in, and was viewing it through the CD-based software, when the system was hooked to my LAN, the image was flickering, upside down and purplish. '!#?!', I thought. I'd broken it. So I purchased a new camera unit. It worked fine at first, but then intermittently it would do that upside-down, flickering, purplish thing. Only while viewing it through the CD-based software. Then on a lark, I plugged my old camera in, and it did worked fine again! But then intermittently started doing the weirdness. I thought - 'I've got two cameras here, I'm just going to deploy with the original and hope for the best.' Which I did.So, I deployed. Over the course of about 3 weeks, and about 45-60 recordings, the video was perfect each time, including the ones which captured the vandal. I don't know what's causing that weirdness but it had no impact on the deployment video captures. I think the company should investigate that. Might be something with the computer unit of the system or the CD software maybe.Bottom line is, the device worked perfectly for me. It's an indoor device, needs decent lighting to work correctly. Works perfectly in an office.
Impressive Product and Customer Support
February 7, 2017
I was surprised at the quality of the app compared to some other camera companies I had experience with. There are a surprising amount of options, and even a Windows program with many more options than is available on the app. You can have camera images sent automatically to Dropbox and now with the new firmware, to Google Drive ( at least with the 128SPW version which is what I have, has different chip than 128PW) , as well as many other options. It seems lots of thought has been put into this product. The customer support was also very good. They were quick to respond, answer my questions well, and they were very quick to fix issues and update firmware when they found a problem. Very impressive. Will look into their other products if I'm in the market for another camera.
Excellent camera
February 3, 2017
Received this camera on Jan. 7. Proceeded to set it up as per the included product instructions. Note, the hard copy product instructions are only a quick reference guide; for a more detailed explanation load the CD ROM and refer to the instructions on the CD. Set up was simple enough, BUT I had numerous issues with my Netgear N300 WNR2000 router. The issues had nothing to do with the camera, although I was tempted to blame the camera because previously the router worked fine. The issue was dropped wi-fi connections, which were ultimately fixed by upgrading the firmware on the router (purchased in 2013). When I had issues that I could not resolve, I emailed Roger at PhyLink customer support. Fast response, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. As for the video itself, it is 720p and looks like it. I positioned the camera behind the glass in my kitchen window, and the video is clear (during the day), with sufficient resolution to easily identify people walking up the stairs toward the window. Night time resolution is ok; a bit grainy, but still good enough to identify who it is. And at night, there is glare reflecting off the inside of the window, so if you mount it in this manner, be sure to keep the light off! Will post a video if I can find one without me in it...
Great Small Camera with recording to RAID option
May 10, 2016
Using it as a motion detection camera at front door and saving video to RAID. Features were easy to setup via the well defined web interface. At times the video seems a bit grainy but that is likely do to the lower light available after dark. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase and the sellers follow-up making sure everything was working well.
As advertised, Works very well.
December 29, 2015
Great little camera that is easy to hide. They have separated the controller unit from the camera that makes the placing options better. The lens is very small giving even more options. You have the option to record to a 3rd party DVR or straight to a Micro SD card held in the controller unit. I had no problems setting up this product or configuring it. The picture quality is much better than I expected.A few things to note:No night vision, low light is not the greatest.Must have external power, but with the controller being separated, that makes it an easier task.I cannot attest to the wireless function, as I only used in a wired environment.

I Love SanDisk!
June 30, 2017
SanDisk holds all my data extremely well and keeps up with my GoPro. I had some photos from a DSLR were lost once, due to another camera reformatting the SD card. SanDisk was very helpful in recovering the data. This is why I am hesitant to switch to the slightly faster Samsung SD cards. No certainty that a company with several device branches would be as attentive...
If i need a extra card, I would buy this again.
June 30, 2017
got this to use in my HTC U Ultra, after the card I had from a next brand kept disappearing and coming back. which was totally screwing up my settings.I am having zero problems with this card.
SanDisk is gold when it comes to SDHC.

Great Micro USB card and works great for a handheld gaming system upgrade. I have always trusted San Disk and this was a great price as well. Shipping like always with Amazon was blazing fast. Very happy with this product and it has so many uses that it can be used for. High quality, awesome performance and a great price. You cannot go wrong with this item.
Awesome!

Great card. Works perfectly. I use it in a Voberry® MINI 5Gbps Super Speed USB 3.0+OTG Micro SD/SDXC TF Card Reader Adapter as a backup drive for the important files on my laptop. SanDisk may be a mite more expensive than the cheap Chinese knockoffs but they work!! I have bought three cheap cards recently and none worked and I had to be refunded my money. I'm only buying SanDisk from now on!

Very good cam with fantastic support
July 24, 2017
This is mostly what we needed. A simple camera to snap shots as needed. I was hoping for a bit of night vision but that is ok.Support on this camera has been second to none.
Not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it
April 23, 2017
I just needed a basic WiFi camera where the sensor unit could be mounted some distance away from the WiFi unit. It doesn't seem like that feature should come at such a price premium over the similar-quality $30 WiFi cameras out there that don't have it, but it's worth it if that's what you need. So overall I'm pretty happy with this product. For reference, I would say the field of view is similar or slightly narrower than a "standard" 50mm lens in classic 35mm-equivalent photography terms. Also, be aware that if you choose to use the included angled mounting bracket and/or white cover for the sensor unit, that adds significantly to the size, since the radius of the bracket is basically big enough to accommodate the mounting portion of the sensor unit all the way around. The angled mounting bracket is fixed at about 30 degrees from straight out, not adjustable. I wanted a different angle, so I fashioned my own mounting bracket from a piece of bendable aluminum plate instead of using the included one, and that ended up being less obtrusive in size.My biggest complaint is that the Android app to view the camera feed seems a little buggy. I find that if I leave it running in the background it will frequently lose the connection to the camera, and if I then tell it to reconnect, it will just hang forever saying it's trying to connect. But if I exit it completely and restart it it will connect fine. At first I thought this was the camera having WiFi problems, but I never seem to lose the connection when using my PC to view it, so I think it's an issue with the Android app instead of the WiFi. I just got around the problem by getting into the habit of exiting the app completely instead of leaving it running in the background, which works for me since I'm not using the alarm feature, but YMMV if you need to use the alarms.A more minor complaint with both the app and the PC/browser interface is that there isn't any option to rotate the image by 90 degrees. This would be really nice if you want to mount the camera sideways, as I did (i.e., in portrait orientation instead of landscape orientation). Fortunately it isn't that big of a deal if you only use your phone to view the feed, since you can obviously just hold the phone in portrait orientation even though the live-view is supposed to be viewed in landscape, but it's still a little unprofessional since the menu icons won't match the orientation of the feed. Finally, I should mention that when this camera first arrived, it only worked for about an hour or less before just giving me a black screen. I emailed support, and they confirmed remotely that the sensor unit wasn't working and mailed me another one, which fixed the problem. So I don't know if I just got unlucky the first time around or if the company has a bit of a quality control problem, but in any case their support took good care of me, so I have no complaints about that.
Worked Really Well
April 18, 2017
Took us a while to get the setup to work but it worked well when set up. We used it off-line without the WiFi and then just pulled the SD card and loaded it onto a laptop and had what we needed.
The support turn around was very good -- they answered between 24 hours
April 2, 2017
I have been using this camara for a couple of months now. It took me sometime to get it worked -- I found out that the camara does not support hot plug which I found it weird. After contacting support they were able to guide me through the installation process. The support turn around was very good -- they answered between 24 hours. The camara is ok -- it does what you need. I am lowering a star since the mobile needs tome improvement -- is not as intuitive as you I would have expected.
Nice but low night time quality
March 1, 2016
It would be perfect if it had IR lights built-in. Night time quality is very bad and you can hardly see anything even with street lights and driveway light on. But day time quality is actually surprisingly good for such small camera.
Works very well once setup properly. Good phone app, and lots of options.
February 17, 2015
UPDATE - April 2016:I'd like to report that the camera is still working well (most of the time), but have run into a small hiccup. About every 2-3 weeks, I lose streaming capability from the camera (no video), and I have to power cycle the unit to get it up and running again. When this happens, my pc program and phone app can connect, but the video is black. rebooting the device over the app has no affect, and I have to physically unplug the unit for a few seconds and then plug it back in. This is a bit of a pain because the plug is located behind some furniture. After that, it seems to work again for another 2-3 weeks.Original Review below:I purchased this mini cam setup to watch the front of our office. After it is setup, I am happy to report that it works beautifully. The included software and directions for initial setup are not difficult, but the instructions lack a little detail (hence the 4 out of 5 stars. I'd give it 4.5 if I could). But the god thing is that the seller was very responsive in helping me through the issues I initially had with the setup. The kit contains a base unit that needs to be plugged into a wall socket to receive power, and a camera that is connected (and powered) by an ethernet cable. there is no separate power source required for the camera, and the cable it is attached to is fairly long. The base unit is the camera server, which sets up an IP address for the camera, so it can be accessed by your network. You can hard ware a network cable to the base unit, or connect via WiFi. For initial setup, you will need to plug the base unit directly into the router with a cable. Once you have it setup, you can unplug the cable and use wifi. This is where it got a little confusing. The directions for wifi setup on the PC were to use the auto-discovery mode on the router. This can work, but you will need to know your way into and around your router's configuration screen. I did this, and at first had a trouble viewing the camera on my phone, though it could be viewed on the PC just fine. Later I discovered that you can access a camera setup screen through the included software that launches in your web browser. THIS is the setup process you will want to use. From here, I could input my router's wifi password and select from various options (such as DHCP, DNS setting, etc). I put all those options on auto, and after that, everything worked beautifully! I was easily able to view the camera and take screen shots from my phone, from any location, through my 4G mobile connection, or through someone else's wifi network. you can also initiate recordings through the phone. The setup pages also allow you to change parameters for the motion detector, adjust the picture properties, including flip and mirror, and setup a DDNS setting so you can access the camera from any internet connected device with a web browser by typing in your camera's URL address. There are also settings for streaming quality of the camera, depending on which device you are using. On the PC, you can have it set to 720p, 30fps with a 2048 bitrate. I personally lowered the FPS and bitrate to save bandwidth. There are secondary and mobile streaming options which use lower resolutions, FPS, and bitrate settings, but all are adjustable to your preferences. Also, the base station also has a micro SD slot for auto-recording video triggered by motion detection, or you can setup the program to record on your PC if you leave the software running in the background. You don't need to have a memory card installed to use the device though. And when the motion sensor is triggered, you will also get a notification sent to your phone, so that you'll know when something is happening. I haven't explored all the options yet, but so far I am very happy being able to access the camera from my phone from wherever I am. The software also allows you to connect to and monitor multiple cameras, so it's expandable. The PC version also allows you to view multiple sources from one screen.

The #1 in Micro SD Cards
July 30, 2017
When it comes to reliability for Micro SD cards, Sandisk is the undisputed best. There is no question about that. Having used Sandisk Micro SD cards for over 7 years, I can attest to their reliability. I've used their 8, 16, 32, 64, and 200gb Micro SD cards over the years, and not one has ever failed on me. Other Micro SD cards I have bought over the years like Samsung and Kingston all have given out on me over time. Sandisk though, are honestly the best you can get when it comes to Micro SD cards. When I saw this 256gb card go on sale on Prime Day, I snagged it without a second thought. Having had it for over a week now, I'll say that this is great as always, and with 256gb worth of storage, I'll never have to worry about running out of space again. If you're in the market for a Micro SD card for your phone, camera, or any other device, look no further. This is the answer to all your problems. Besides the delayed shipping on this item (probably caused by all the shipments they had to make on Prime Day), it's absolutely perfect.
Hesitant but worth it.
June 9, 2017
Would I must say I was a little hesitant about buying something from the warehouse with its description of its condition being very good. It was a day late and a big envelope with a smaller envelope inside containing the micro sd and adapter still in its plastic tray. When I put the card in my phone it said it was corrupt and had to format to fix it for use with my phone. Easy fix and plenty of space haven't had any issues with it. If your wanting it right away and don't care about saving a few bucks you can buy it from Walmart and spend about 5 bucks or more. If you don't care about waiting a few days and not having all that cardboard them definitely go this route.
fortunately no critical data was lost
May 11, 2017
Have had mixed experiences with other sandisk cards purchased off amazon, having one 32 gig class 10 microsd fail to read in both my phone and card readers after around 6 months, fortunately no critical data was lost. This one seems to be solid so far and if it continues to function I will be very pleased. UHS 1 seems to work well achieving nearly 80 mb/s read speeds with a usb 3.0 card reader. Seems to have no issues keeping up with the write rate of 4k videos on my action cam.

216 bytes) Tested fine with both Fake Flash Test v1
January 20, 2016
Total capacity formatted with exFAT on my Note 4 is 183GB (196,585,417,216 bytes)Tested fine with both Fake Flash Test v1.1.1 and h2testw 1.4 so not fake.Read and Write seemed fine. Writing music files to it was about 15MB per second and the h2testw verify was 75+MB/sec. Other card readers may do better. Now Samsung needs to put an micro SD card slot back into their Note phones or my next phone will be something else. It is pretty hard to go back to 64 or less gb when you are used to have 120+GB worth of storage.
128GB card tested at 88MB/s read, so it meets its claim
August 21, 2015
This card tested at 88MB/s read, so it meets its claim. The 4K speeds are fairly slow at 5MB/s and the sequential write is 15.8 MB/s which should suffice for most applications. This will work well for most people's needs.Tests done on a Kingston FCR-HS3 USB 3.0 reader using CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 x64.Product ID on the package was SDSQUNC-128G-GN6MAUPC was 619659133795

Formatting Issue for MAC
September 7, 2017
I use a MAC computer and was trying to view a video from the card that I took on my new camera. When I put it in the MAC it could not read the card. It was formatted as FAT32 and I could view it on a pc but not my MAC. After searching around I discovered that 64GB and larger have some sort of different formatting that a MAC cant read. So I had to put it back in the pc and format it again to FAT32 and then my MAC could see it. The only problem is now the disk says it only has 1GB space. I then had to use the MAC to format it to EXFAT and now it is 64GB and everything works. Not sure why they do that but it is a pain.
Think This Was Used Prior to My Receiving It
July 17, 2017
When I went to use this micro card, there were 21 files already on it, most with MILLIONS of KBs already recorded on it, mostly just blank white or black nothingness, one music file on it, so I guess it was used prior....everyone that saw it was shocked.Works great but I'm wondering why they would send out one that had stuff already recorded on it.
sd card works but the pyle dashcam does not.

This item came with the purchase a dual dashcam PYLE USA, the sandisk works great, but the dashcam does not work properly and the one page translated instructions are worthless. It was professionally installed and the cameras sometimes turns on and I have to reset. There online PYLEUSA.COM is a copy of non-instructional instructions. Consumers be awear.
Doesn't work with DJI P3 Standard...
June 8, 2016
Works in everything but the DJI P3 Standard. This is a common problem now that I've read other reviews and forums. I guess you have to get another brand or the SanDisk Extreme version. I decided to put it into my Amazon FireTV instead so will research the best option for the P3S. I only gave it 3 stars because in some of the Amazon bundles it shows this one as compatible but it isn't. It is probably more of a DJI issue and the camera but it should be stated not compatible.
64GB seems to work with Pi 3.. but it's unstable
June 7, 2016
Seems to work with my Raspberry Pi 3, the write speed is good enough to store high bitrate video with no problems.UPDATE: after a couple of weeks of use, not sure if it's the card's fault (it might be the Pi3, or the power supply), but there is some sort of malfunction that appears after a while (especially after writing to the card more intensely, installing new packages with apt-get etc.) which makes every command show a "segmentation fault", or, alternatively, any attempt to access the file system freezes the terminal.. Rebooting the Pi fixes such malfunction though, but it's not an acceptable (stable) solution.. I checked the card for file system corruption and even bad sectors but couldn't find any problems.. It might be that the Pi 3 is not fully compatible with SDXC cards, I don't know, but it is a bit disappointing that it does not work as stable as expected with Raspberry Pi 3.

April 9, 2016
Put this in my phone, HTC One A9 and I was able to combine my 16gb internal storage with the sd storage to get around 133gb of internal storage. Got the phone 3 days ago. Did a factory reset today with the sd card in my phone and now it's telling me that the sd is too slow for combining with the sd card. It says to get a card that's atleast a class 3. So that means that the phone thinks the sd card isn't even a class 3 which is a mistake because it clearly says class 10. I don't know what wen wrong. I could still use the card separately but I would rather combine it, saves me the hassle of having to tell where to download or going into either the sd card storage or internal storage for something.

Purplish hue
October 27, 2017
This review is for the PLC-133PW model. Phylink has other cameras that do not have the same problem. The quality of this camera seems good. The wires are plenty long. The WIFI signal strength is better then I expected for the distance I need. The problem with this camera is it has no IR Filter. This was not clear in the description. Without an IR Filter, you get a purplish hue. What the description does say about the camera is "stunning Full HD 1080P video" and "offers exceptional video quality". I do not agree with these statements. I expected a 3 MP picture to be a little clearer and the colors to be correct. I can live with the video quality but not the color problem. The email technical support is very responsive and willing to help. After a few emails with them asking me to try a few things, I got this reply. "I'm afraid I have to correct a mistake I've made. In fact, the PLC-133PW model has no IR Cut Filter in the lens, so basically the color of the camera image will be a bit distorted showing a purplish hue during the day light. So in this case, this purple or pink hue phenomenon is actually a normal performance of this camera model."Again, so far all communication with the company has been responsive and helpful.I'm requesting a refund. Hope that goes well.

February 25, 2016
It seems to lose its wireless *settings* (not the connection to the wireless signal, the actual settings themselves) constantly. The only solution is to reconnect it it via direct wire, set everything up again, then unplug and use it wirelessly......until it loses the settings again. As for the phone app, it is fickle as well. A browser window or the free downloadable PC software will connect to the cameral flawlessly, but the app simply fails to. Sometimes deleting and re-installing the app helps, other times it doesn't.Does the system work? Yes. Is it a RELIABLE enough system for daily use. Not so much.

December 9, 2015
Would have been nice to know the 20ft cable connected to the camera only terminated 3 pairs on a RJ-11 connector. Makes it a bit tricky with extending the length to a POE adapter.I wasn't going to attempt it and waste time on the installation, as every other IP camera out there uses RJ45 ends.
perhaps a bit too costly for the quality.
December 3, 2015
The clarity of the image is a bit fuzzy and not very detailed. I suppose it is the trade off for an externally mountable camera that is so small, but I expected better for the price.Additional information:It has great features and build quality. It is firstly a camera and must perform as one. For $220, it isn't up to par. This would be a great value for $100.https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2cMhsYLlNC7UUFBdExXcFYxOE0/view?usp=sharingThe video quality is roughly equal to a 720p smartphone from 4 years ago. The above link is to a video that is also a real video without any filters turned on. Every light in the living room is on. It seems pretty bright in the video, but the picture is very blurry and blocky. All the settings in the configuration are set to the max. There is nothing left to be done or changed. The image in the phone app is even worse.

It's good enough for storage
July 12, 2017
Has some performance issues and seems to stutter a bit on video playback. I did not encounter this with my other micro SD cards which are also class 10. It's good enough for storage, but if you're looking for sustained performance (i.e. continuous recording of hd video), you might run into some intermittent issues. Originally bought this for a dashcam, but because of performance issues, ended up just as extended storage for my phone. It did cause the phone to reboot a few times. Verified this by replacing with a known good sdcard and no reboots. After scanning and repairing on this card, the reboots aren't seen often, but once in a blue moon, the system stalls and reboots still.
Dead On Arrival

It either works, or it doesn't work. I've bought these in the past for everything from cell phones, to tablets, to digital cameras.Being a person who is not really a "techie", I can't comment on things like speed. This time, I opened the package and it did not work.Speaking of package.....this package is terrible. You could injure yourself trying to cut it open.
66% fail rate (over 3 purchases)
June 5, 2017
Purchased 3 over the course of 2016, two of them were DOA. Sandisk was outright hostile about replacing them... I should have contacted Amazon, their customer service is usually outstanding, but I've also heard they'll cancel your accounts after a certain number of returns, so I just had my office replace them for me ;) Can't recommend with a 66% failure rate in my purchase hx.

May 25, 2017
I'm not exactly sure whats wrong, but file transfers to this card start slowing down, or just flat out fail as they go on for long periods of time. This isn't because the card is filled up, this happens when I am just trying to put 4GB of music files onto an empty 64GB card! It will start the transfer at a solid speeds, but after a minute will slow down to 4mb/s.At first I thought this was just my phone, but now that Ive tried it in multiple Micro SD adapters, and USB card readers I have to blame the card.
Works great, but very fragile...
May 9, 2017
The memory card works as good as any other without issue, but be very careful on handling it, the reader I had the micro SD card in was a bit too snug, and I had to put additional pressure on it using my fingernail to try to pull the card out and the card snapped in half. Thankfully i didn't lose any important data on it, but just for FYI... be very careful on how you handle this one. Personally I'd advise using the Samsung micro SD cards... they work just as fast and great, with noticeably better build quality.

March 21, 2016
i bought this for my Samsung Note in September 2015. it worked very well until March 4 2016 when it became unreadable in the middle of the day. All data appears to be lost ( went two months without backup oops). Both phone and computer say blank sd card. phone says cannot mount, Computer cannot recognize it or force format. Not sure if it is from a new update or what but it is completely unrecognizable on devices.I thought it should last more than 5 months.

Great idea but product feels unfinished
September 10, 2017
This is a review for the PLC-132PW 1080P camera. I purchased 3 of them, 2 for outdoor and 1 for behind a window facing outward. I do not recommend this product for the reasons outlined below. There is potential here but it is held back by what appears to be rushed engineering and poor component selection. Support is responsive and largely helpful but in the end their advice amounted to me beta testing for them and I wasn't in the mood for that. I went to retrieve the footage from the motion event in the attached image to include in this review only to find the camera recorded 20 seconds of a still image that appears to be some sort of modern art interpretation of a car. That pretty much sums up my experience with this product so far. They are going back to amazon who I hope promptly crushes them for scrap aluminum.Pros:1) Covert, once it is mounted it doesn't catch the eye unless you know what you are looking for2) Control box works over PoE3) Works fine with blue iris4) Outdoor rated (probably... they do not publish a rating for this model)Neutral:1) WiFi, but not very good, makes cpu run hot and causes what appears to be short disconnects2) The camera mount is OK, it's not as good as the one on the other models amounting to basically an L bracket with a lasso on it but for the most part it works.3) The wire attached to the camera should be longer.4) Control boxes look cheap, they are gold pink aluminum with white antennasCons:1) This is not a 1080P@30fps camera, its 1080P@24fps, so that's a blatant lie on the posted specs, which I confirmed with support when I couldn't get the advertised performance.2) The camera connects to the control box with RJ11 so using existing RJ45 connections and accessories is not possible.3) The camera went into a bootloop when I turned up the stream settings; support handed me a new firmware the next day that fixed it.4) This camera does not appear anywhere on Phylink's website.....5) There is no FTP option, despite what it says, and I wasn't able to get it to reliably write to a windows share either.6) The config reveals a number of default passwords, connections, and behaviors that are an obvious security risk and cannot be changed easily.7) The sensor on this camera isn't very good, it cannot identify a license plate number at 20-25 feet even under optimal lighting.8) The Phylink mobile app requires P2P to be enabled.9) The control box runs warm, having all advanced settings like motion detection turned off for minimal load I measured the aluminum control boxes at 99F in 70F ambient.10) The feed skips, blocks, and pixelates under moderate motion like a vehicle passing, probably a symptom of poor compression.

All seem to work great for about 4 days. Day 5 two of the four failed and no longer connect to the internet in any way. It fried every se card you put in it. It works great if you get one that works but if you get a bad one good luck. I haven't been able to get a response about a replacement to this day. The other two are still working for now.

Junk

I am pretty sure I was sent a refurb unit. Would only connect by ethernet and the sd card slot was off center and the damn unit swallowed my 128 gb card. Plus, you get bombarded by emails when you order this in broken english from someone named maggie. Beware.

Don't waste your time or money
July 6, 2017
The SanDisk 128GB micro card arrived today. I inserted into the slot above where the SIM card goes. I get a message saying card is corrupted! I will return this immediately! I've installed SD micro cards on other phones in the past without any issues. Don't waste your time or money. A huge disappointment!! This product doesn't even deserve a one star rating!!!
DO NOT USE WITH GOPRO
April 12, 2017
DO NOT USE WITH GOPRO. bought it for my session 5. turns out this is the old version and the write speed is like 15 mbps this cannot keep up the gopro and will cause it to overheat. it also causes random pauses in the video. i've heard it can cause the gopro to crash when it overheats but i haven't expierienced that yet. instead buy the sandisk extreme or other recommended micro sd card on gopro's website. buy once cry once.
Horrible speed that hinders usability.
January 10, 2017
I just can't recommend this to anyone. Yes it's cheap and I guess you get what you paid for? I don't know, however, I did NOT expect it to be this slow. I only use it on my phone so I didn't really think the speed would be an issue. I was wrong. Save photos and videos on it is a pain in the ass, it takes a good 5 seconds after every picture before I can take another one. Just today I was deleting a fairly large file(2.2 gig) from it and it literally took 10 minutes just to delete it...it even said so on the prompt. You also CANNOT format this thing as internal storage because an error will come up saying it's way too slow and does not meet the speed requirements. So yeah, I can't recommend this to anyone...even for people who don't care about speed and just plan to use this on their phones because the slow read/write speeds will actually affect you.
Melted in my laptop, shorted out my GoPro.
September 1, 2016
My GoPro said "SD ERROR" and kept shutting down, so took the card out of my GoPro, and put it into SanDisk's adapter, and inserted it into my laptop to try to format it.Suddenly curls of smoke rose from my laptop's SD card port and I smelled burning plastic, so I pulled the card out, and found this. It was super hot, and there's a possibility it might have caught fire if I'd left it in the laptop for longer. The other three work fine in both the GoPro and the Laptop: they haven't melted yet, but now I'm concerned.I've attached a picture of the melted card, because "pics or it didn't happen". Well, it happened, and there's the result.
Most Sandisk productshave been good for me
August 1, 2016
Are these knock-offs or seconds or something... I ordered 3 32Gig cards. Most Sandisk productshave been good for me, one other problem in the past. Open the first one and my DJI Phantom 3 said it needed formatted so I tried to let it format, failed. Tried formatting on a Win10 PC, failed, tried on my Macbook Pro, failed. I was afraid to even open the other two so I did a refund. Was given a return label but I HAD TO PAY to return, not that big of a deal but still that much more that I'm out for returning a bad product. Then today I get them back where they had been REFUSED?!?!?! What??? I got online and did see the refund went through but why make me pay to return only for them to refuse them? Just out of curiosity I opened the other two and sure enough they would not format either. I believe these are knock-offs or something like that. They look legit but I'm not sure... After I tried to return them I ordered another brand and they worked fine.
While it worked, it was fine. Died way too quickly.
