This product saved us from the frigate chill on many outdoor movie nights. Practical for about three to five people, seated within ten feet of the device.

It fires right up and looks great! The wheels are handy for moving it around. I was a bit nervous about buying this sort of thing without seeing it, but this heater is solid.

The product was fairly easy to assemble and it was used this weekend when the weather turned cold with some snow and windy conditions. The unit was easy to light and it stayed lit for hours. Heating was very good.

I bought 2 of the tiki heaters about 4 weeks ago. We have used them on our patio many times and love them. They don't work as well if the wind is blowing but will keep you warm if you are within a few feet.

Yes, we love it, I bought this for my husband's birthday as he likes being outside even in cooler weather. Also, just to let all know that it does come with a cover for storage in the summer. I did not know that when I bought and I bought a separate one, now I have to send that one back.

Haven't used it yet as we're in Florida, & in about a 0 day drought!! Didn't know it was quite that tall, but my husband can use it in winter in his steel bldg.! I may need a tabletop one for our carport, where we sit out in the evening. It is very nice looking though.

Good value. Works great. Wish the top of propane housing was flat to lay things on or set a drink down.

Works well, but takes a while to get the fuel up to the top and for it to light, but it works great.It will certainly remind you of waiting in line at Da Club.

I use it on my deck to provide a little extra warmth on those colder Spring or Fall days. This will not be worth using in winter climates at low temps for obvious reasons...it's not a space heater and being outside even small winds will affect how much heat you feel. But that said, on calm cool nights it works and is almost the same as when you have a fire pit nearby--just using propane and heating from top down. I wish I could swap out the reflector dish for a larger one as I think that would help contain and redirect a little more warmth downward but for the most part if you leave it on long enough so it can heat up it does provide some decent heat. Hooking it up is simple. Getting it lit the first time was tricky but I finally figured out the proper step. The only problem is that it's hard to see the pilot light on and I am sure I was clicking the button a few times when I did not need to. Putting it together from the box is also easy. Should only take 30 minutes or so although I did need my own tools to really tighten up things as the tool provided was the usual cheapo wrench. Make sure you've got clearance above (i.e. don't fire this up under a deck awning or anything unless you like fires) as it does get at the top..in fact, you'll see the grills get red hot which is normal. Enjoy...

Arrived dented, but we pounded it out and you can rotate the bottom cover so it doesn't show. Easy to put together - top is not made of a strong material - so I could see how it could bend easily. But other than that - looks good and easy to light. Nice to be able to move around on the rollers - previous heater didn't have the rollers and it was a pain to re-position.

Great product.Only problem is the pilot light will not start with the ignition switch. I have to start it with a match. Not a major problem..

We bought this as a gift. They said the holes didn't line up for the bolts on the wheels. They had to drill another hole to put the wheels on. Other than that, it is beautiful!

not as warm as expected

You need to notify people before purchasing that it is ineffective with winds over 10 MPH. My deck is in a windy location and the heater is ineffective.

The heater works as it's supposed to. The problem is that it is not stable. My heater fell twice before the tank was empty, and now the heat reflector plate is destroyed. I am searching for a reflector plate, but I don't know what will fit.

Shipped on time. Ordered hammered bronze, not available called told only stainless steel available, said OK shipped a white one instead. A little disappointed. Directions to install not that descriptive or easy to understand. Pictures vague but I got it together FINALLY. Havent tried it out yet so time will tell if it works. I hope it does.

It came with a dent in the propane bottle canister.

Bought this is November of 2014. Rarely used it, I think I only ever ran two propane tanks through it, and last night it wouldn't start. This has been my typical experience with this product. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have been unimpressed with this particular model so I am going with a different brand this time in hopes of having better luck.

It's not good quality

Not heavy enough - easily blows over in the wind. Tried to get replacement parts but did not get a response back from the company.

The product came dented and the center pole was welded wrong so it was crooked. I am not very happy with the product for the amount of money I spent. But it's already put together so I guess I am stuck with it.

Quality is not what I expected. They look every nice when you get them out of the box but once you start to put them together and look at the pieces as you put them together you notice right away that they are not that well made. I had to make additional brackets for the undersides to support the heaters since after only two months they started to lean very noticeably. I would not buy unless you are able to make changes to the supports when they start to fall apart.

The heater came well packaged and was coated in a plastic wrap to protect against scratches. Unfortunately when assembling the item and removing the wrap I was amazed at the amount of dents in the base (tank cover). Having the stainless steel selection makes it even worse. The actual box had no signs of damage so this must have occurred prior to packaging. This is my second patio heater and my first one of another brand was such a hit that I couldn't lose with this heavily discounted Thermo Tiki Premium Heater. If the item wasn't so large I would have sent it back.

Unfortunately the pilot was defective and would not light. Sparking device worked, but was not able to get any gas flow to the pilot. This was true after multiple attempts to light. Sorry I had to return it.

When putting the item together, the wheel assembly hole pattern did not match the base that was shipped with it. I could have drilled the base to make it fit. But there was no reinforced backing in the base if I did. Better to return. I am sure it's a model/manufacture error. I returned and will reorder another brand (but I'm sure it's the same manufactured). Overall though the quality seemed nice.

Starter does not work. Disassembly too much trouble to get a replacement.

Failed after 3 months. It worked great initially but suddenly the gas valve just stopped working. Would not recommend.
