This little heater is not so little. It is a bit large for a two-person table. I put it on a side table, which works just fine. Adds just the right ambiance.

Saw some comments on shipping and how they arrived. I bought two of these and both were in perfect working order and high quality product. Looks like they will last for a long time.

We bought this to heat the space under our balcony table on cold mornings. It performs fantastic if you realize it's an electric heater and is not going to perform like a propane fueled heater. We are only allowed electric appliances in our condo and this fit the bill. At temps below 40 degrees, the benefit is going to be reduced, but our So TX location usually stays a little warmer.

Great to heat the feat of guest at our outdoor patio table.

it's the best invention,sitting outside and keeping your feet warm,under the table. I can stay out later at night reading my book or even playing cards with your friends.I am looking forward to the winter to enjoy the cold nights. I am going to be nice and cozy.

I put this under my deck chair on our screened in porch and it can make the difference if it's a little chilly. Doesn't generate a lot of heat, but does meet my need.

this is a really neat gadget - looks fantastic and it warms up the surrounding area as promised. Just make sure to place it high enough outside the reach of children, as it states "HOT" on the top, and it actually is VERY HOT - touch the top while it's on and you will feel it!

It does a good job provided it's not 30 degrees outside. Pretty easy to operate once you get the hang of itand it looks pretty when lit.

I really like this when it's lit but I find it a bit difficult to light. I always have to have my husband do it for me. :) I wish it just had a manual turn and push like a barbeque!

We use this heater on our deck between two lounge chairs as we look at the ocean. It does not put off a tremendous amount of heat but does take the edge off the cold and is very nice to look at.

We have it on our back screened in patio and it was a blessing this last winter

It doesn't blow hard. But it does the job. We still enjoy having it under the table for sure.

This unit is used on a covered Patio. It worked well once, then failed. The return procedure easy and cost free. If the replaced unit works the same (without another failure) I will certainly be satisfied.

I love the look of this, I just wish it put off a little more heat. It slightly cuts the chill but doesn't make you warm in the cool bay area evenings.

This item kept kicking off the first time I lit it. It was windy outside so, I sat it on the ground and after it stayed lit a few minutes, I sat it back on the tabletop. It stayed lit then. Hopefully, it just has to warm up. It put off a comfortable amount of heat. I will use this item when I travel with my horses and camp in the early spring and Fall. Update, although I kept this unit stored inside it wouldn't light last time I tried to use it. Pretty disappointed. Would like to know where these can be repaired.

Does not generate a lot of heat! Bought off season or I would have returned it.

Doesn't generate much heat, but there is some heat. Easy to turn on and off pedal. Now that i have it, I would not recommend it to other people because it is just not warm enough to notice a substantial difference.

OK... so... this is an infrared heater. That means, it heats the PERSON and not the area around the heater. With that said, it does an OK job at that, and would probably work better on a slightly warmer night than the night we used it.... (about 45 degrees). Ended up returning the item. Nice, but just not enough heat for me.

Little to no heat.And it irritates me to no end that this is a "Portable" patio heater. What they SHOULD have written is, "miniature", or even "SHORT". The picture led me to believe it was full sized like other I'd bought.

1was very difficult to light and still haven't been able to get the second one to light, batteries for igniter were corroded inside battery holder. Disappointed!

The top is too small to allow for adequate heating.

It doesn't put out off much heat, you can feel the heat off the top of it. But on a table it's not much use. Really nice to look at. I Use it for light from flame and turn on my other patio heater for warmth

I really wanted for this to be a keeper. Sadly, it is not When lit, it looks great.As far as heat output, it is almost non existent. I tried it first on a tall patio table.Next on a short patio table.Finally on the deck.No difference.On a 60 degree night you are still cold even if you sit right next to it.This is a very expensive candle.

I wish this thing would work. It was great for 3 days, but now the pilot wont stay lit. The other reviews were correct, it really doesn't put off much heat, but it is super pretty..

It has very poor heat output. I would have returned it, but I would have had to pay shipping plus a 15% restocking charge. So I reluctantly kept it.Wish I had paid attention to the reviews before I purchased it.

Aesthetics are nice but hardly any heat. Not recommended for open patios.

Not entirely happy, will only start after about 20 tries, pilot light won't stay lit

I bought this for my parents for a Christmas gift. They have fought with keeping it lit. Repeatedly tried new propane tanks thinking it was one of them, and now it won't even light. They never even got any use out of it.

First, I'll verify what other reviewers have said: if you want heat, buy the traditional kind of tabletop heater. These look cool, but they simply don't put out the heat. But that's not why they only get one star.I bought two, and out-of-the-box, both fired up right away. Then I didn't try to use them for about six weeks (weather, schedule, etc). Last night I tried to use them, and I got one to light, but...talk about sensitive! The thing kept going out at the slightest movement or touch (I'm not kidding - it got hilarious pretty quickly because we would literally touch it and it would go out). Ridiculous. The other one doesn't even give me a spark now, so there's apparently no hope for it at all. And, since I'm six weeks out, the items are no longer eligible for return.THAT'S why they get one star.

I really wanted to return this but had it delivered early and didn't get a chance to use this until after the return window - this was a total waste of money - puts out no heat, except on the top cap that gets burning hot and is right at a perfect level and place so that kids and adults get burned frequently. Not good!!!!

Arrived missing some nuts, and although the pilot light ignites, it goes off as soon as you try to adjust the flame.....now I have try to figure out what's wrong with it. An expensive mistake.

Worked a couple times; now it is dead. Looks like it is trying to work but fan is not emitting any directional heated air. Don't waste your money.

Inadequate for outdoor use even in Florida in relatively mild temperatures. Probably OK for heating in a garage or small workshop. It's low and heavy so it won't get knocked over in a shop.Do yourself a favor and forget this heater for outdoor use, I wish I had, and the freight to return it is probably over half the cost so I probably just bought a nice overpriced garage heater that I don't really need., and the freight to return it probably doesn't make it worthwhile.
