PerfectNovember 27, 2016 I chose the large size. Seems well made and the perfect size for both my morning tea and for eating instant oatmeal out of. And it collapses down to a thin disc. I bought this to stash in my luggage, along with a travel electric kettle, for a trip to Las Vegas. The swanky hotel I'm staying in does NOT have coffeemakers in the rooms so this'll save me money from being forced to either use room service or getting dressed and stumbling downstairs to buy overpriced Starbucks coffee or tea. I initially tried to by the collapsible cups made of metal and plastic because of their nostalgic appeal. They all leaked after a short time. That is NOT the case with the silicone collapsible. Keep reading for the test results:Expanded/collapsed 200 times, then filled it with water. I let it sit on the counter for a week, emptying, collapsing, and refilling two more times.No Leaks, No Cracks, No Wear Marks, No Odor, No Problem!It's also lightweight, small when collapsed, and the cap keeps out dust, dirt and debris.I cannot wait to test this out for my weekend and week long hikes in the cold weather.I would definitely recommend this cup, and will be ordering a few more!!! but it’s a lot more useful.November 15, 2016 The silicone collapsible mug as a concept is a vast improvement over the older concentric-ring style collapsible cups. The silicone material is much more insulating than the old tin cups, and its flexibility allows for a cup without potential leaks. The size is generous, and the lid keeps it from getting filled with crud in one’s backpack. It will probably not last as long as my grandfather’s old tin cup (at least 60 years old and it still holds water), but it’s a lot more useful. I love it.June 22, 2016 Great call around cup. I got the red set and the first thing I did was to check if the lid is leak proof, and it is! I put some water in the big cup//bowl one and put the lid and shook it upside down and not even a drop squeezed out. However, it is pretty tricky to put the lid on while it is full because it does fold in on itself, so it takes some mastering. Also, the little cup fits into the big cup even when they are collapsed so with camping it saves a lot of room in your backpack. | | | |

The cap is pretty secure but I haven't filled it with water yet. The synthetic rubber has a good texture for grip and it collapses into about a 1" disc. Perfect for festivals. This fits well in my large shoulder bag though its collapsed thickness would not fit in a clutch or other small purse. The compartment in the lid could be used to hold a single dose of pills, but once the cup has been used to hold water I would not trust it to keep more pills dry. I found the wrist strap useless, but fortunately it detaches easily and without damage, so you could put it back on later if you changed your mind. There are some small issues though. First it is really dirty (machining spot) around the metal rim. Get in that area using a paper towel and your nail when cleaning as the dishwasher and a basic sponge won't get it and it will smell. Dry it thoroughly to avoid possible rusting. | Great when not torn before you even get it.July 28, 2017 One came with a tear in it. Not worth the hassle to try to return. Pretty bummed, because the other one works great. Nice cup - but smelled badJanuary 24, 2017 Many things worked well about this cup, alas, it smelled bad, which seems to be a problem with many silicone cups for some reason. We tried soaking in baking soda solutions for several days, which improved the smell but did not remove it. Since our plan was to use it as a water cup, this wasn't going to work, the smell was too strong and would have made drinking water out of it very unpleasant. We ordered the small size, and we found the collapsing to work well, the lid was easy to put on and remove, and it seemed like it would be just stable enough to be useful as a lunchbox companion. | CheapNovember 17, 2016 Looked promising but didn't perform. No durability. I tried this out on my John Muir Trail hike and the seams where it collapses cracked by the 4th day.
