From yellowing sad/sick looking leaves to FRUIT! Hooray!
September 23, 2016
We bought a fixer upper house a year ago. Shortly after moving in my mother in law spotted a kumquat tree in the woods that looked like it had been dumped out of it's pot when the previous owners moved. I was excited but unsure if I repotted it if I could salvage it. But I tried. I got a large pot, planted it and moved it to the sunroom where I cared for it and ensured it had plenty of water and sun. It never died, but never looked amazing either. Then the leaves started to get yellow patches and it looked so sad and sick. So what did I do? I combed Amazon, of course! I applied this one time around the perimeter and after a week or so it started looking lovely. Then a bit later it bloomed...and now we see tiny fruit! Hooray! Now want more citrus trees for my sunroom and I'll be sure they all get some of this!
Updated!! AMAZING growth!
September 14, 2016
Update!!!I am going to post a picture of my lemon tree, and you are not going to believe your eyes! The transformation that this tree has made since I started using this last year is seriously almost unbelievable. The size of the lemons that have started growing are so big, it's as if the tree is on steroids! lol if this doesn't make you wanna buy this fertilizer like I did, nothing will. I tell everyone I know because I live in the desert heat, and this thing has performed something slightly short of a miracle. LOVE IT!I purchased this based on reviews I read as our lemon tree wasn't doing so well. Soon after sprinkling on the drip line, it grew a lot and had lush green leaves, which was a nice surprise as they had started to drop off and curl prior. Happy customer!
Lemon trees get hungry.
August 15, 2016
When I planted my Meyer lemon tree almost three years ago it produced lemons the first year. The next year it produced none.It dawned on me maybe the plant needed help.I bought these spikes in the early Spring to use with a Meyer Lemon tree that I have in my yard. Last year it did not have any lemons.. I found this product at a reasonable price with clear, simple directions so I decided to give it a try. There may be other factors involved that I do not recognize but the tree has forty or fifty green lemons that are about the size of medium eggs. I know I have to wait ill late fall to see the lemons ripen but I have hope.
Oranges, Tangerines, Lemons and Limes Very Happy
July 16, 2016
I have potted citrus trees, eight of them in fact. I used this for the first time this year and am very impressed. Within a few days of the first application I noted the plants perking up, even though they were still indoors. Now, they're fruiting and blooming in such a way I've never seen before.I like the granular because I can control it for pots -- most citrus fertilizers are for outdoor, in ground trees. Oh, it stinks for a while (that's because it' organic), but an hour or so of aroma until it gets into the soil is well worth the boost in health and vitality.
... of other fertilizers in the past and nothing works like this stuff
July 21, 2015
I have been using a mix of other fertilizers in the past and nothing works like this stuff. My Meyer Lemon tree has exploded with growth and it's only been a week. It works with everything else I have planted as well. My only regret is not buying it sooner
Crack for My Meyer Lemon!
April 27, 2013
Within 5 days of using this on my Meyer Lemon it was literally exploding with blooms and has grown at least 6" since. I've only used it the one time about a month ago and the Lemon tree is still happy as a clam on this stuff. I'm looking forward to many lemons!

Works well on Meyer lemon tree
August 4, 2017
This arrived quickly and mostly worked as expected. For my meyer lemon tree, this has really made it happy and thrive. We followed the directions on the bag for mixing and had good results. Recommended. For my avocado tree (citrus fertilizer recommended), I have not seen any noticeable difference in using this fertilizer. Will buy again.
Quality fertilizer with good consistency and minimal dust. Right on my front porch. What's not to like?
May 26, 2017
Just used my first batch, so I can't comment on results, although I've never had any issues with Jobe's. I've tried other brands of organic fertilizer and found them to have a lot of messy dust. When combined with the lovely fragrance of organic fertilizer, applying them left my yard and myself smelling a bit ripe. Oh, Jobe's will still leave your yard smelling like a chicken coop, but the consistency of the product mean less of it blowing around applying it. Hardly any dust at all--the granules/pellets were hard and consistent, making it easier to apply uniformly by hand under my trees. Watering after application really cuts the smell down and makes better neighbors. Sturdy bag. Glad to find this on Amazon at a competitive price. At my age and in my health, no longer having to haul the fertilizer from the store shelf to the store counter, to my truck, and to my garage is a delight. It is delivered right to my front porch. Is life great, or what?
Great in basic citrus care
March 28, 2017
My potted meyer lemon tree needed some help and this fertilizer was just what it needed. Yes, it's smelly, but it dissipates quickly. I bought the bag over a year and half ago, and using it sparingly, my tree is still one happy plant. I did have to buy some iron as an amendment at some point, so keep in mind this isn't a cure-all, but a good start in citrus care.
Moral of the story: this stuff is amazing for plants but bad for animals so store it up high.
October 14, 2016
This stuff is a miracle for our indoor lemon tree. My husband has wanted a lemon tree for years and I found one in a nursery recently and bought it as a surprise. He was so excited but soon became quite worried about it when it seemed somewhat unbappy (leaves turning yellow and falling off like crazy!) After doing some research I ordered this stuff and now people come over and are like "This thing is awesome!!! How do you keep it so happy?!" We've kept the tree alive for almost a year and will soon be able to harvest some lemons (these lemons have been growing for EIGHT MONTHS and my husband is insanely excited about this success). The down side to this fertilizer is that the dogs are obsessed with it. Apparently it smells amazing to dogs and our dogs did get the bag once and got pretty sick. Lots of vomitting and other unsavory stomach problems for about 24 hours. After we realized that they had gotten into it we began frantically googling and found that organic fertilizer is actually MORE poisonous to pets because some of the ingredients are not processed and thus more potent.Moral of the story: this stuff is amazing for plants but bad for animals so store it up high.
My tree is very happy!
May 30, 2016
I have a brand new lime tree addition to my garden and caring for citrus is new to me this year. In my zone, citrus has to be in containers because we have cold winters and the citrus will not survive if they are not brought indoors. Proper fertilizing for container trees is crucial since they have no way to pull anything from the ground.I decided on the Jobes Organic fertilizer and thus far and very happy with it! I followed the directions and added the correct amount for my little tree. After about 3 weeks my tree has put out tons of new leaves and is loaded with flower buds. I will fertilize again in mid summer when I have tiny fruit.I'm very happy with this product and will continue to use it.
Smells terrible, works great!
June 5, 2013
We used this to fertilize our orange and Meyer lemon trees. Seems to work great. We applied to our "sicker" orange tree to give it a boost (more yellow leaves, more sour fruit compared to our other orange tree). 2 weeks later, all the yellow leaves are gone and the tree looks "better" than the "healthier" tree. We used 1.5 cups (used an old yogurt cup to dish it out & kept the yogurt cup in the bag) per tree (two orange trees with 2-inch trunks/14ft tall. our Meyer is only 1yr old and maybe 1inch trunk/2ft tall)This stuff, as other have noted, smells terrible, but hey, it is organic. Like, death plus rotting plus wet dog. We actually were going to ask our duplex neighbors to wash their dog, because we thought the fetid smell was coming from their poor pooch, until we realized it was the tree in our front yard that smelled like it needed a bath! The smell goes away after a week or so. Once sealed, the bag doesn't smell (we keep it in the house). Wash your hands after using or wear gloves, and use a semi-disposable scoop (not your baking measuring cups).Minus one star because the bag design could be a little better (zip close is a little flimsy) and I wish it came with a scoop and better directions (eg if it should be used monthly, bimonthly, etc).

It is just okay for right now....
March 13, 2017
Well, I would like to say everything jumped out of the pot after I had applied it but it didn't - but I don't know if it was my fault or the fertilizer - I am trying to grown a Lemon Tree - for the winter indoors - and it is having a bad time - I bought the fertilizer - applied it - and it has done nothing except lose more leaves everyday - that might be because it is so dry in the house - or that it hates the fertilizer - I will try some more in the few weeks and see if things change - but I don't notice the smell that others complained about so that is good.

SMELLS so bad!
October 7, 2016
I cannot stress enough how much this SMELLS LIKE POOP! Maybe because that's the main ingredient? I used this on my indoor lemon tree and when I came home the next day my entire apartment smelled soooo bad! Who knows how long it will last. But the odor is very bad. Assuming the fertilizer will work ok based on other reviews. Just sayin' if you use indoors be prepared.
No change
October 29, 2015
I can't say what killed my lemon tree. Me, soil, too much sun? I transferred it to new soil and it died practically right in front of my eyes. I can tell you it wasn't this fertilizer, since I had used it about a month prior and the tree remained unchanged. Which is why I gave it three stars. It clearly didn't benefit my tree. But the thing had been in declining health probably from the start. Note to plant growing novices: don't start with citrus in the northwest.

It was easy to use, but my peaches were no bigger than a golf ball when they all fell off the tree. I was hoping this would help grow better fruit.

Purchased this for my citrus trees. I live in southern GA and it seemed to have no affect on my plants. I have 3 Citurs, 2 Apple, 3 pear, and 4 peach trees. None of them seem to benefited from this fertalizer.
Must not be good for lemon trees
February 28, 2016
Got this for my lemon tree. Followed the measurements properly but none of the lemons grew past the size of a grape. Most of them fell off and there's only one lemon left and I don't see that one getting any bigger. The tree actually looked healthier before using this.

I purchased this for my lemon tree. I did as it said and it did not work. Nothing has changed on the plant. It just has been the same for almost a year with the lemons not turning yellow but staying green. Not sure what to do with this big bag since it didn't do anything

I would not buy this product.again for the reason that it made my fuit trees and vegetables sick After noticing that my trees have started dying I took immediate action to rectify the problem which costed me a lot of money to revive my trees and vegetable garden. I had to struggle and work very hard to restore my garden. I rechanllenged with this fertilizer and trees became sick again. I am not sure what does it contain which was not agreeable to my fruit trees. .It was a scary experience.

Really disappointed. Bought this for my lemon and lime trees and a second bag for my parents lemon tree. A few days after applying it killed off all of our small buds that were beginning to grow into fruit. Thought fertilizer was supposed to help with the fruit growth not eliminate it entirely.

This type of fertilizer didn't seem to do anything for my grapefruit tree.. Waited a month and decided to use chemical fertilization. Tree sprang to life in about 10 days. Live and learn..........
False advertising

False advertising. On the picture, it shows that the product is OMRI certified. However, nowhere does it say that it is OMRI certified on the package I received. Anyone can say a product is organic but if it is not certified, it cannot be trusted.
