Very good quality and soft to the touch. The rubber feet grip well so computer won't slide around on your lap or other surface when in use. I like that they completely eliminate the back bottom corners instead of trying to wrap the case around them. With the placement of the port openings, the corners of other cases always broke off or cracked. The case profile is slightly higher than the computer, not flush with it. If you rest your wrists on the computer when typing, this may be bothersome. I don't find it an issue. I have the Camel color which is actually has a pinkish tone to it. I don't mind the color, but if it's for a male, it's something to consider.

I just purchased a MacBook Pro for my wife. She absolutely loves it, and is rightfully concerned about protecting it from scratches. While we scored a great deal on the laptop itself, we didn't consider a shell during our shopping. We have two dogs and a cat, so I was casually worried about minor scratch marks and fur happening occasionally. So after a few hours of research, we stumbled on this nice little shell for an amazing price. My wife considered one that came bundled with a mouse, however she couldn't find a color she liked and was concerned about the logo displaying through the case. I scoffed and told her to settle on the one that she liked that looked the prettiest, and here we are. For only $11, we found a case that fit perfectly, but something else was included in our package too. It included a keyboard dust cover (matching color as the shell) and a screen protector too! Now, I don't recall seeing these items in the specifications, but it was certainly a pleasant surprise to find these extra items.The case is a perfect fit. It uses little plastic nubs to attach firmly to the monitor portion and to the computer portion. There is probably less than a millimeter of a gap between the case and the computer, and I really don't see any gap on the display. This is awesome, but concerns me a little should I try to remove it, I am concerned it might scratch unless I break the actual clips themselves. Also, this creates a tight squeeze for the opening hinge. I find that if I ever set the laptop in my lap, and then open it, it pinches my pants and/or legs. Minor inconvenience. I have not, nor do I plan on, testing the durability of this shell. I wanted something that will protect from scratches from everyday use, to which I feel it accommodates this. As I mentioned, I am worried should I ever need to remove the case (if there isn't already damage done as I feel like it needed more than necessary pressure to apply).The keyboard cover is nice, it's a neat little gel material that feels comfortable. I get the feeling that this cover was designed for the non-retina display model of MBP (the one including CD drive) as there is an eject key printed in the traditional spot for MacBook Pro, and it doesn't really lay totally flat on the keyboard. I do appreciate how it was packaged however, that is, completely flat so that no creases formed for the rest of eternity (as in my other MacBook Pro case- not purchased from this seller btw).The screen protector I had some problems with. I'm certainly not a pro when it comes to applying these things, but the stickers for the mask should be on the long edge, not the short of the screen, considering there is a hole for the webcam. If I need to aim the hole to be over the webcam, there is no sticker that allows me to guide it from the top down! I had a few problems with this thing, and eventually just gave up because now I have to clean it as it is full of hair, and I'll have to figure out a way to create my own "handles" for applying it. I couldn't tell it's quality- when it sat on the screen, it seemed very cloudy, and I'm applying this while my wife is at work. I'm pretty certain that she would notice it was on there when the goal is for her not to notice! Also, when I placed it on there, it definitely seemed not the appropriate size. Considering I had painstakingly placed the hole over the webcam, there was excess protector on the bottom edge of the screen that would not settle, indicating it was caught on the lip of the screen. The included microfiber cloth was not very good either. I have mixed feelings about screen protectors, but it was definitely a surprise that I got one included. Can't say that I will be using this one, however.Overall, I am giving this product 4 out of 5 stars. Had it been the case alone, 3/5 - it's an everyday piece of equipment, not spectacular. The concern for damage is relevant with both application of the shell and removal of the shell as well. The bonus keyboard cover and screen protector brings it up to 4 stars as I had not planned on receiving either of these items. The dust cover protects against spills which I am very prone to, and the screen protector would be great for my screen, had I been able to put it on. The negatives of these items do not impact the overall rating of the product because I was not planning on receiving them.For the average person with good intentions, and probably no kids, this shell is a great buy. For someone that would put their MacBook Pro in moderate risk at least, you should look elsewhere. I can't imagine this thing standing up to any drops of falls. Cheers.

After looking at MacBook Pro cases that cost twice as much, I chose the Mosiso. I've been pleased with my purchase so far. It was well protected in the packaging, and it had no scratches and scuffs when it came out of the bag. It fit on my 2015 MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina securely and without difficulty. It is held in place by tabs that do not interfere with the look and operation of the laptop. All ports and vents are accessible. I like that they include an extra set of feet. The Apple logo glows through the translucent top, which is a nice touch.A few suggestions: I would have liked a printed instruction sheet to make sure that I was installing it correctly, but the information is easy to find online. A rubber strip or a smoother surface around the front would have been nice. When I rest my wrists, the tabs can be irritating. Overall, the Mosiso case adds protection and personality to my MacBook Pro at an affordable price.

This Mosiso laptop case is great for its style, feel, and protection. While there are some annoyances in its design, the case is a great balance between look and practicality.Pro's1. I love the color and feel of this case. I chose "Serenity Blue," which in reality is just more of a paler Periwinkle (plus it looks great with stickers!). The finish is a soft matte and I just love how it feels when I carry my laptop around. The apple logo light is still fairly visible with the case one, albeit with a purplish glow now.2. Although I have yet to fully test the case's protection (trying to avoid dropping my new laptop!), for a plastic case, it seems to have good protection. It fits my 2015 Macbook Pro like a glove. The top is completely covered, and there is no sign of the case falling off anytime soon.Con's1. This has been mentioned by another reviewer, but there is a lip on the bottom piece of the case that hits your wrist when you try to type. While this does not bother me after a while, it does cause a lot of annoyance initially. I understand that it's there to add more protection, so I guess I'll jsut have to live with it.2. While the top of the laptop is fully covered with the Mosiso case, only 3/4 of the bottom is covered. While this allows all of the ports and the hinge to be free, it does expose two of the corners, leaving them completely open to drops and scrapes.I love this case, and while there are a few flaws, I plan to continue to use it to protect my 2015 Macbook Pro.

I own a late 2013 13" rMBP model #A1502 and bought the Black cover.1. The top and bottom fit just fine. The bottom does have an ever so slight lip protruding. However, it is low enough that I find no discomfort when resting my palms and typing. It feels secure enough, however I would not risk holding it by just the cover alone.2. The inside of the top shell has a few imperfections. There are textured fingerprints from whoever touched it without gloves and before the plastic was set. There is also a large scratch across it. Neither of these are visible from the other side, which is what really matter.3. The outside of the top shell also has a few imperfections. First, it is not subtle to the touch. Despite the soft feeling, there are small bumps, like grains of dirt. There are not a lot and you cannot see them unless your nose if touching the cover. Int fact, has I not stroked the cover I would not have known they were there. Second, there are a couple nicks on it. They are visible. However, that is exactly why I bought it - so it gets the nicks and not Macbook itself.4. Despite being black, it is still somewhat translucent. The apple logo does shine though, although very softly. I am considering this a plus.5. The whole thing was dirty when it came. There was a plastic cover, but even with it, dust and dirt was clinging to it. I simply washed the top and bottom with warm soapy water and dried it.6. For the money, this is a steal!

This case has a nice soft grip and protects the $2,000 investment well in transport. I took the case and my Retina MacBook down to Mexico backpacking for a week and was very pleased. There are some minor fitment issues where the plastic clips that reach over the edge of the MacBook snap - often they pop loose on one side or the other but never at the same time so it's been OK.Occasionally when using the external display adapter (HDMI) on the right side of the MacBook you really have to push on it to make sure it fits snug. This is more of a problem if the MacBook is closed with the case on it as the lid protection sticks out. Overall for the price this is a solid case and I would buy it again.

This MacBook case was purchased for my wife. She likes it on the MacBook as well as the feel, a matte texture. I can get dirty fairly quickly, but most of it comes off with a simple wipe down. One of the little grips on the bottom started to fall off after 6 months, easily glued back on. Surprising that when the grip first popped off there was no unbalance. Overall this is a moderate case for covering your MacBook.

I had really high hopes for this to be long-lasting and wonderful, but about two weeks into having this on my computer, the little rubber feet on the bottom peeled off and I had to super glue them back in, which surprisingly doesn't hold that well on this type of plastic. Also, the case corner cracked after about three months (no, I did not drop my computer), and it's not a super-snug fit so the case edges slip off every once in a while. I've had this for over 10 months, and it is still on my computer, but not without showing it's weaknesses.

It's a very cute color (the light pink one called "Rose Gold") that shimmers in the sunlight - but it's not as convenient as the laptop cases I'm used to. I used to have a matte case that had a hard rubber texture, but it cracked over time and I decided to go with this one as my new case. The issue with this case is that it's very slippery. I didn't think it would be so slippery because it doesn't look super glossy - but this case slides my laptop everywhere. It gets annoying very quickly. If it's on any surface besides a desk - it will slip off. It has slipped off my lap, my bed, the couch, etc. I have to keep worrying and making sure that I'm holding the laptop down somehow to avoid it from breaking.It's not that the laptop case isn't useful, but it's just that there are more useful laptop cases out there that won't slip around. If you don't plan on taking your laptop with you anywhere while commuting and plan on using it only on hard surfaces (desks, tables, maybe even a floor) then you should be fine. If you're like me and like to use your laptop by laying it on your stomach or lap - then this case may not be the best recommendation for you.

This is my third case from Mosiso, the other two broke within 4-6 months. I honestly don't know why I keep coming back.The case seems well built when taking it out of the bag and is made out of hard plastic. I always have a little trouble putting it on my MacBook, but that's to be expected. Once on, it fits very snuggly and does not budge. Now I have to say two out of the three cases I've had have a kind of matte rubberized finish. I like the feel of that, however it attracts fingerprints like no other. Every once in a while I have to wipe it down to get rid of the fingerprints, and even then there are still some.I keep my MacBook in my backpack when I go to school, and it gets knocked around a lot. From the constant dropping on the floor and getting hit by tables, it holds up pretty well. Around 2-3 months in, it will start to crack around the edges and then sooner or later the whole thing will break.One thing that bugs me a little is the edge of the bottom part of the case. Whenever I'm typing a lot it feels like something is jabbing my wrist. It could just be me, but honestly I think it's just the way the case is made.Some people are wondering if the apple symbol shows through the case. In short, yes it does, as long as your brightness is turned up. If it's dimmed down, the symbol will not show.Overall, it is a decent case and protects my MacBook from the constant misuse. If you just keep your MacBook at your desk all day, this would be a great case for you. Otherwise if you want something stronger like an otterbox for macs (ha, if they made those), then look elsewhere.

Eh I'm between two stars and three. I thought I would really like it due to great reviews but it gets dirty so easily every time I open it my finger prints are marked. If I accidentally have something on my hands and I carry the case it gets super dirty. It's not like my clear case that I could easily clean or wipe it's like matte idk how to explain it whatever you touch gets on it and is instantly noticeable. Other than that the color is nice, I don't hate it but I don't love it.

The color is gorgeous. I got Wine Red for the 13'' Retina Pro. However, there are multiple things throughout the product that makes me think twice about getting this product again.1) The keyboard cover is downright awful. It changes the typing experience considerably for the worse, and there's no way I would recommend using this unless you have a serious fear of the keyboard becoming absolutely filthy, which most people won't. My typing speed decreased by 10%, as tested by taking typing tests multiple times.2) The cutouts for the case aren't exact. Typing with the case on results in the case cutting into your wrists, which is fairly uncomfortable.3) There are multiple scratches on the product, even though the product came wrapped in plastic. Damaged before being packaged? What the heck?The redeeming features are the gorgeous color and the good quality used to make the case. If these weren't the case, this would receive a 1 star from me. However, it does make me thing that I should have bought something a little more expensive, like a Kuzy or a Spec case.

I had previously bought this product in 2016 (in aqua blue) when I first bought my MacBook, and loved it. However, after a year of carrying around my MacBook to and from the library, rough wear and tear, although my computer was unharmed, my cover had seen better days, and decided it was time for a color change.I was excited when the new package arrived but found that the replacement was nothing like the original - even though I got it through the same link, and just changed the color choice (dark teal). Very disappointing. The replacement did not allow for the screen to close properly, the bottom didn't attach securely, and I didn't feel as though my MacBook was protected as much as it was with the original hard case cover. Ultimately, I chose to go back to my original cover, even with the cracks, I felt that it was a better fit, and I did return the replacement. Questioning if this is due to a new mold that is being used, or if it's just due to the color?

The color looks nice, but it has cracked so much and I haven't even dropped it! The top has seems to hold up, but the bottom has several small cracks around the sides. Also, the small rubber/foam fell off almost immediately, even though I stuck them on according to the directions. Another thing, it holds dirt and honestly, after a year of (non-regular) use, it looks old and beat up. I wouldn't recommend this case if you want a nice case that holds up...becuase this one started falling apart after about 6 months.

this is my third case. the first time i ordered the case it came with some sort of smudge on the inside of the case. im guessing from when they sealed it. the replacement they sent was broken on the bottom part of the case. where the ports go in. Minor issue so i was able to still use the case. After about a year or so with the case i wanted to buy a new color. so i ordered the black case. It also came in damaged in the same area as before. near the port holes. this is a flaw and should be corrected. due to this chip it does not grip on the bottom of my lap top so it stays loose.You get what you pay for.

First the good:I ordered the case in rose gold color. I thought it was very true to the pictures, and I actually really liked the color. It was a matte, smooth plastic finish and looked nice. This is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1.The neutral:The cover is not very transparent, so the Apple logo was not very apparent (it did shine through slightly). This does not bother me at all (I actually prefer for it not to show), but some people like for it to be highlighted, so this may be a negative.The cover is smooth, hard plastic, NOT rubberized. Again, this was just fine for me, but the item description states "with smooth rubberized exterior texture", implying otherwise.The negative:The bottom cover has edges and snaps that come up just over the top of the Macbook, where you would place your wrists when typing - and these edges are hard and really sharp! I first thought I could tolerate it, but I gave up after about an hour. It was just too painful. So if you're planning on typing on your MacBook, you might pass on this one... Having said that, there are a lot of great reviews on this case, so I'm thinking that this may not affect every case (poor quality control??), or may only happen with some colors. I don't know.But this was bad enough for me to return this item, which is unfortunate, since I liked the look of it.I cannot speak to the durability of the case, since I used it for less than an hour....

This case fits my 13" well. It shipped quickly. But the hard plastic came chipped in one spot. I can't tell if it's the chipped spot or the design of the clips, but the case rubs my wrists raw when I use the trackpad. I've been using it less than two weeks, but I think I need to stop using it, just for comfort's sake.It's also surprisingly heavy. This is probably a positive, since I purchased the case because I started carrying my laptop everywhere (after 18 months of keeping it at home). But the weight makes a difference with spinal and wrist issues I have. I am going to try to find a soft case, since I'm most concerned with scuffing.Update: Less than two weeks after receiving, the corners are cracking and splitting. I just bought a padded sleeve to use instead.

This is the second "cheap" macbook pro shell I've bought since March. The first one (made by another company) stood up very well to me beating the snot out of it almost daily for several months. This one on the other hand isn't going to make it 2 weeks just riding around in my backpack. Very flimsy plastic. The rubber feet on the bottom are already sliding around and coming off from where they are supposed to stay mounted on the bottom. The clips that hold the bottom piece to the macbook are very thin and one of mine has already broken so everytime I simply place my hand on the palmrest to type the whole corner of the shell pops off.Sometimes you get what you pay for. Sometimes you don't even get that.

Case is warped and doesn't fit laptop properly. Front securing snaps on the bottom piece popped off anytime I rested my hands to type, or if I picked up the laptop to carry or move it. It shows marks very easily and looks dingy after a week or two. Was going to schedule a return, but then got to busy with returning to school and needed a case, so I kept it anyway. The securing snaps broke within FIVE WEEKS and now the bottom cover doesn't even stay on. I can just lift my laptop up and out of the bottom case if I lift it by the screen of my laptop, and it also falls off if I close my laptop and start carrying it next to me.Cheap, crappy case that is just a headache and a huge ripoff. Save your money, these cases are a scam.

Not happy, was great at first but life is very short. Corners break off just as others say. First one I figured was my fault so I bought another, same thing. Waiting to see if company will replace and will update my review if they do

HORRIBLE! I cannot even give this one star in all honesty. I have had this for about 2 and a half months now and it had a small hairline crack in the corner of the bottom right section of the case when I got it- I thought nothing of it. Then about a week or two into owning the case another small crack appeared, this time in the opposite corner. Fast forward two months later (mind you, I've never dropped my laptop) the entire bottom part of my case cracked and pieces are now missing. Avoid this case like the plague. It is poorly made and now I am stuck with an item that is past the return window. DO NOT PURCHASE!

I wanted to love this cover, but it falls short in one very important area - covering and protecting the full laptop. I was completely disappointed to find the bottom cover does NOT cover the back bottom of the unit, and does not protect the back bottom two corners of the laptop, as the apple product does. It snaps on and fits the laptop perfectly, but that doesn't override the potential for damaging the back two corners if they are bumped. Also, the unit is not as transparent as they let on, I had the Speck more expensive cover, and it very clearly showed anything you placed under the top - I liked having my business card showing. This cover barely shows the Apple logo if the unit is on, and you cannot otherwise see the Apple logo, when it is closed. The color is nice, the material is nice, the fit is very good, but I won't buy this cover again even though it is cheaper, unless they redesign it to cover the full laptop.11/24/16 update: after only a few months, all the corners have cracked with normal use, and the sides broke off. Although it seemed halfway decent at first, it turned quickly into a piece of junk, such a waste of money this was!

I've only had the case on my rMBP13 (early 2015) for a few hours of use, and the front edge of the bottom cover is slicing into my wrists as I type. There are very rough burrs of plastic all along that front edge.On top of that, I also discovered that this case doesn't cover the two back corners of the laptop at all! They are completely unprotected. After taking a closer look at the photos they provide, I think this varies from model to model, but it certainly isn't obvious or made clear in the product description.Painful to use, with inadequate protection, this product definitely does not do what it is supposed to.

UPDATE: Bottom of case (not dropped or damage) has started cracking off in chunks. I haven't even had the case a month. WASTE OF MONEY. I'm so frustrated that I have to buy another case! This time I'll spend some real money and buy a real case, not something there to look "cute."PREVIOUS RATING:Biggest complaint is it's really uncomfortable to type. The edges of the case are sharp. The edge sticks out over the bottom, so when I'm typing my arms are being rubbed raw. I rest my arms on that part of my laptop, which I'm pretty sure other people do too. It's weird, I've never had this issue with a case before. I'm hoping to find a work-around for this, maybe sand down that edge or something (LEARNED TO DEAL WITH THIS). I don't want to buy a new case and I'm sure it'll cost like $8-10 to return. But, it's bothersome enough that I actually came online just to review this and have now taken the case off.Otherwise, it fits the rest of the laptop well and I like the pink color. I just hope I can find a solution for the rubbing.
