Side by Side Comparison of: TOP CASE vs iBenzer

I just received this product a few days ago so I can't say much about its durability but I have 3 top case MacBook Pro cases and they are all awesome only complaint is the colored matte ones leave finger prints but other than that no problem. The case that I purchased was the clear one. It came with the top and bottom case along with a mouse pad and a clear keyboard cover. I haven't seen my actual MacBook Pro without a case in a long time and since I got the clear case I can admire it just as it is without worrying about it getting scratched up! Love it!

Don't believe complaints about fingerprints that can't be cleaned. I just cleaned my case this morning with a damp cloth and the fingerprints are gone. The case itself seems very sturdy, and gives my Macbook Pro a sleek new look. After adding more memory, it feels as if I have a brand new laptop.Is it possible that those dissing this product are sock puppets for more expensive alternatives? One has to wonder.

This item arrived on time, in perfect condition. It has a soft-touch feel, which we were looking for because it reduces the chance of slipping/fall from your hands. It was easy to apply and feels secure. You can see the apple logo light up through the case when you open your computer, that's nice. The keyboard cover fit perfectly and has a nice feel to it. Thin and easy to type on. Personally, I would picked a different color or pattern, but this is for my husband, who loved it. Mission accomplished.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! I was really upset that I missed the parade (so-to-speak) with the colored Apple iBooks (1999-2003) and when I finally got the money together to buy a decent Apple Laptop I was in my late 20s & the colored Apple Laptops age had long since passed... But now, I'm a working graphic designer, web developer & software engineer & when I work on it in a place like a Starbucks, McDonalds, Panera people flock asking me "Where did I get my prototype Apple Laptop?!?" To which I always respond "Prototype Apple Computers are always in clear plastic casing...they do that for a reason to make sure everything fits properly I am however, unaware if that applies to the titanium and Aluminum case MacBook & MacBook Pros

Great Product!!! Came quickly and is a perfect fit! Really appreciated that the company listed exact specifications and for which model of Mac is would fit. I purchased two others from different vendors as they stated it for a Macbook Pro 13" and neither one fit! Seems the newest Mac is not quite the standard 13" so meant a lot to have this information prior to ordering. Thank you so much for a superb product! I ordered the orange color and it's divine! I also placed a picture sleeve on top of it (that I purchased on line from society6.com) so together, my laptop has a whole new look! Now my laptop is not only protected but super cool to look at!

This is the 4th TopCase I have bought. This is a replacement for a teenager's laptop. The laptop gets carried everywhere, to school, in the car, stuffed in dance bags, it's an extension of her arm. I can't even imagine what the laptop itself would look like without the case. This TopCase lasted over 2 years before it started showing signs of abuse. The laptop still looks like new!!! The other 3 TopCases we have are over 2 years old, used everyday (minus the abuse) and they still look brand new. The keyboard protector is a tad hard to get use to and we have all since taken it off. However, if you can get use to the feel of it, my advise would be to use it.

Most of the product that I have received through online use to have some glitches. But this one came through as it was shown on the website.The color is brilliant and looks very professional compared to other colors.It perfectly fits fine on my laptop. You guys need to make sure about the model you are ordering for.Very smooth. Worth the money I spent and the time I waited for.I would highly recommend to go for this color and if you have only MacBook Air 13".I order the mouse also as a complete set. Love my new MacBook Air cover in purple! I've had the turquoise cover for the past two years and was in the mood for a change. This time around it came with the keyboard and screen protectors. I will hang on to my turquoise cover, though, it just needs a cleaning and has sentimental value...it has my Bernie "Birdie" Sanders sticker on it. :-)

When I ordered this case my top didn't fit quite right, it wouldn't latch on one side. I reached out to the company and was promptly send a new a new top cover that fit perfectly. I was reluctant to purchase a cover thinking it would make my MacBook thick and bulky but this cover does not, it's the perfect solution. I don't use the keypad because I like the feel of MacBook keys but it did fit nicely.

I'm writing this review off of initial quality, but the quality is much better than expected. I love the rubberized plastic. It's very nice and was super easy to put on and you get the keyboard cover and a screen protector with it and a cloth to clean the screen. All this for a very reasonable price. I previously had a very similar case from a different brand that I liked but it was a bit more expensive and only for the case. It was $10 more that one. The quality on this brand seems even better. I had my previous one for two years and just wanted to change it up. Overall this product seems like it will be great. I will update this review once I've been using it for a longer period of time, but as of now, it's much better than I even expected.

I bought this case for my computer because i toss it in my backpack to go to and from school. It fit very well to my laptop on both sides. I do not use the keyboard cover but that also fits as expected. This will not protect your computer perfectly from dropping but is definitely great to protect from scratches. It fits perfectly to where you can also use all of the ports such as charging or usb. I would definitely recommend this to anyone not wanting to drop a ton of money on a case. It fits perfectly and has a wide variety of color options.

Been using this for about a year and a half and so far it has held up. As a working DJ / Graphic / Web Designer my MacBook travels with me a lot. It goes in and out of my bag quite frequently and I haven't seen any wear and tear on the soft-touch rubber material yet. I like that it's a bit translucent so you can see the apple logo shine through on the back of the screen. There is no coverage where ports which is great for me because I like my L shaped mag safe connector wire to be facing away from me. The keyboard cover is a nice extra and the characters also light up just like a normal keyboard would.Cons:On the bottom of the case you have 4 rounded rubber feet to keep it in place and doesn't slip on hard surfaces. My front 2 broke off through normal wear and tear use. Might just be some cheap glue they use. That last con I have is that the keyboard cover blocks the airway the keyboard has and your macbook can really get hot if you're running software that requires a lot of CPU power. Things like video editing software or video games usually generate a lot of heat. if heat was really a problem I would probably start poking holes with a needle to around each key so that hot air from the laptop can have more routes to leave your keyboard.All in all, I can't complain for what I paid for it. It has been a great investment for me so far.

The case arrived quickly even though it was shipped during the holiday season here in the US. It is supposed to be rubberized and allow gripping, however it is not, its slippery and hard. That is why I cannot give it a 5 star rating. In every other respect, the cover meets its requirements. It is clear so it lets the natural aluminum case show through yet protects it from direct impacts especially at corners. The keyboard cover fits perfectly and also is rather beautiful, its silver gray color and black lettering looks great and protects the keyboard well. It adheres so well and fits so well it is indistinguishable that it is a cover. I also like the tactile and smooth soft feel of the keys with the cover in place.

I ordered this case because of price, reviews, and I liked how clear the case looked in pictures. I'm definitely happy with the case, but it still has its problems. While the top piece of the case fits perfectly, the bottom does not. It's not that big of a deal, but I'm constantly pushing it back into place. It's a very minor problem, since you can barely tell that it doesn't fit correctly.I also do not use the keyboard cover. The letters do not match up with the letters on the keyboard, so you can see it. Also, the eject key is mislabeled as a power button, which isn't a big deal, but I didn't like it to much.Overall, I really like this case. It's perfectly clear enough that you can see my sticker that I have underneath, and the feeling to the case is nice, helping me feel like I won't drop it. I will simply have to order a different keyboard cover.

I received my case fast and it was easy to figure out whether this case fit my MacBook Pro(which does not have the retina display feature) thanks to the seller's photo descriptions of the compatible MacBooks and where the model number could be found to help potential buyers make sure they are ordering the right size. I had a really hard time browsing through other sellers cases, and the reviews consisted of a lot of unhappy customers getting the wrong size and what not; so, if your computer has model number A1278, then this product should fit.Ok, so I ordered the pink case and the color is accurate, like in the picture, and my apple logo still shows through. The case also came with the keyboard cover which has that clear backing so you can still see the keys light up underneath. Not all the keyboard covers have this; I think i saw one that was one solid color so make sure you get what you're looking for. Also, the cover can make typing a bit weird at first but you get used to it.Fitment and Protection Quality: The case fit is exact. The bottom of the case has these foam circles at each corner so that your computer is not resting flat on a surface but instead is somewhat elevated so that it stays cool and doesn't get too hot. The covers have these tiny tabs which slip over the defined edges of theses MacBooks and thats how they stay on so it is possible that they can eventually weaken or whatever or that the case can crack with a lot of squeezing when putting into or getting out of a book bag. At least the case isn't $50 though, so you can order another; I guess these cases are essentially to prevent scratches from happening to these expensive computers.Overall, I am happy with this purchase, and it has not broken or cracked yet. The main reason I wanted this case was so that I could personalize my Macbook and prevent scratching it with anything. I will definitely order in another color.

The case fit my macbook pro perfectly and was very easy to snap on (on in less than a minute). The bottom is ventilated. Its plastic it is not a survivor cover that is going to protect the laptop from a major fall, but it will prevent the laptop from getting scratched up from daily back and forth use.Others complained about the keyboard cover. It fits mine perfectly and fits as well as my previous keyboard cover by a different brand. Initially you need to kind of press in the spaces between the keys to line it up but after you use the keyboard for about 5 minutes it is just like typing on a regular keypad. The laptop closes fine with the keyboard cover on. Both the case and keyboard cover can be easily removed if you want to clean them.UPDATE: After 9 months the plastic has started chipping in one of the corner. For the price this is still a decent buy. Just not as durable

I just put this on, and here's what I think so far:I really like the way this makes my laptop look so personalized. Plus I've been looking for something to protect the outside from scratches and this does the trick! I like the way that the keyboard cover "sticks" to the keyboard without any actual adhesive. It IS going to take some getting used to typing with though!Three downsides: 1. The color is not true to the picture. I was expecting a much more subtle, light pink. This is very hot pink, almost neon (which is okay, I still think it's gorgeous. 2. The letters on the keyboard cover do not line up with the letters on the actual keyboard, which gives it a kind of "double vision" effect. 3. I'm not a huge fan of the way that the bottom part slides on. I would rather it snapped because it seems pretty easy for it to fall out. Don't buy this for extreme protection. I don't plan on abusing my laptop too much so I'm not worried.

The keyboard cover makes it difficult to type fast, so I remove it when I need to type long documents. The letters also do not sync with the keyboard letters, so it makes the letters look blurred. However, since I am done with college and mostly use the laptop for browsing and reading, it is not a big deal for me. Other than that, the cover turned out great, has not broken, and has been protecting my laptop. Looks very pretty. And the screen protector fits great, can even tell there is one on. I bought it over six months ago.

I think these little cases for Macbooks are just so cute, and they definitely help with keeping your Macbook from getting all scratched up. I don't use the keyboard cover so I can't speak to how that works, but I did take away a star because the screen protector is slightly too small. That being said, for the price, it's totally worth it just to get the case.

Fit for purpose. The only thing is bottom part's grip from sides coming apart, not all but just a little, so you have to quick press or click to put it back. Keyboard cover gets dirty too quick and becoming sticky, so ensure to clean it regularly, just wipe off with wet cloth and that is it. Protects the keyboard very well, it looks shiny and brand new when i remove the cover. :)

I purchased the black hard case for my MacBook Air and I love it! It's a matte black and thought it would a finger print collector, but so far it's kept clean and finger print free! Great case for a great price :)

This protection shield works fairly well. I have purchased mourned March 2016 and used it continually since receiving it in the mail. The silicon cover over the keyboard takes some getting use to. I timed my typing with the silicon and without and there is about a 5-7 word difference in a 3 minute typing test. The skin protects my computer while going through a number of airport security check-ins and traveling by train. The soft silicon is easy to handle and the vents at the bottom allows the laptop to breath (if you will).The burgundy is pretty true to color and the keyboard protector does a good job. I do notice some image of the keys on the screen. It is similar to when you have a something heavy on a napkin and it leaves a slight impression. This product is easy to put on and take off. The keyboard silicon does not securely attach to the keypad therefore, it can easily lifted and cleaned as needed.

This is for the black colored version of the caseBesides the smudging, I like this case a lot. It has already protected my MB Air from two falls and cracked instead of damaging he iPad. It has the right amount of give so it takes the brunt of the impact instead of the MBA. Great product.Also, Keyboard cover is of low qualityWhy not 5 stars? Smudges a lot even with perfectly clean fingers/hands (thought it was my fingers/hand at first). Keyboard cover is of low quality useless.

It was honestly just okay. I purchased the version for an older Macbook Pro. I've had it for several months now, and the first thing to go was the white rubber feet on the bottom of the case. The glue holding those in just gave out after a couple weeks and moderate use. Additionally, the clips that hold the case to the Macbook don't seem to be as accurately cut because one of the clips doesn't really ever stay attached. The rest of the case is still secured just fine so it isn't an issue, it just doesn't exactly make the product scream "quality". My last thing about it is that some of the edges had a little excess plastic on them - I would have liked to see cleaner lines. Not a dealbreaker, but just doesn't give me the utmost confidence in the quality of the case. Additionally, I think the extra weight from the top portion of the case is accelerating the wear and tear on the hinge of my computer. The screen's hinge doesn't seem nearly as sturdy any more and it's likely just due to the extra weight added from the case. Probably not an issue on newer Macs, but something to keep in mind. Oh, and go ahead and just throw out the keyboard protector when you get the case. It slowed my typing speed by like 20 words per minute and was pretty crappy all in all.All of those being said, if you just need something to protect your $1,000+ computer from scratches and dings, this will do the job just fine. In the future I think I'm just going to get a nice leather laptop sleeve or something instead.

Better than the case I had before, but after a few months, the plastic started to crack on the edges. I want to say it was for no real reason other than presumably stress from just being on my Macbook because I never took the case off to clean, so I can't imagine there having been other stress on it. There also seemed to be an inconsistency in the color of the top piece. It looked like the coloring hadn't be applied evenly and was thin in places. For the price, it's decent, but after seeing my previous case and this one start to fall apart I've decided that maybe no case is the way to go.

OK so I give it 3 stars because the clear one i got is not clear it's translucent, i had an iBenzer for my Macbook Air that was completely transparent but fell apart slowly. Anyway it's really cloudy the apple logo looks like a got hot sauce in my eyes. but otherwise it fits really well and the keyboard protector that i was completely not interested in and originally just tossed in a drawer works really well. I ended up using it because the damn cat keeps sitting on the computer and i'm afraid she'll spill some s*** on it while i'm gone. anyway it fits so well that i keep it on most of the time. if i have to do some typing i take it off but for just browsing the internet and s***, it's fine. and it fits so well i barely notice it. BUT the damn case is cloudy!

The case looks great and the quality is better than I thought it would be. One complaint I have is that the inside edges are a little rough and rub up against my wrists when I'm typing, leaving a little rash. The Speck cases have the inside edge rounded off to prevent this, this case does not round off /curl up along the edge and as such the squared off edge is uncomfortable. There are all 4 white sticky things among the bottom in each corner that are what keeps the laptop balanced when it's on a flat surface- all of mine have since fallen off. It's not really a big deal, it was just incredibly annoying since they only started falling off one at a time and my laptop would rock back and forth as I typed so I chose to remove the other ones. Otherwise, I actually think it's a great case and you can't beat the price. Will definitely buy another in the future

Good case, not fantastic, but it does protect my macbook pro. It doesn't completely cover the laptop, which isn't ideal, but it covers enough to protect the majority of important areas. It is a little lose on my macbook. Not so much that it will come off, but it isnt a snug fit all around. I can push down on the cover and there is a lot of space under it. The included keyboard cover is okay at best. I love the fact that it keeps junk from going down in between the keys, but it makes typing quite a bit harder. I find my fingers kind of stick to the rubbery keys, they don't slide from key to key. Every once in a white I take it off and it is so so so much easier to type. I keep it on 90% of the time, becuase it does protect the keyboard. Overall, I think this is a good case and okay keyboard cover. I would buy another because of the price and procection.

Ordered the black one and I have to say I am not that crazy about it.The case is flimsy and will protect against minor scratches since it is not in fact a hard shell case but semi soft or "light weight" cover. I was disappointed to see that the small peg-leg covers on the bottom were actually white. Why would I want white on my black case to cover up the Mac's black peg-leg caps? Anyway they throw in a keyboard cover that makes the typing sound muffled and is semi-usable if you get use to the feel of it. The bonus mouse pad is useless in my opinion and is just a waste of material.All in all, if you are looking for something thats inexpensive to just lightly protect your Macbook then purchase this, but I see myself hating it soon...

The case is definitely as vibrant as it appears online. It doesn't quite fit right however, the bottom case tends to slide around when the screen is fully opened. It's not enough to make me want to return it, but enough to notice. It came with replacement rubber nubs (?) for the bottom so it doesn't slide around which is great. All in all, for the price I can't be mad at it but it could always be better.

It's ok. Just ok. It works, covers the computer, looks nice. But the little clips and edges that hold it onto the computer started breaking after the first week. The case still works and is holding on, but I don't expect it to last forever at this rate. I looked hard for something of good quality, but could not find it. I am not sure how protective this case would be if the computer was dropped, it is a hard case with no padding.THe keyboard cover is nice and works well as long as you don't want to type quickly. I find it slows down my typing considerably so I take it off when typing a lot but it is nice to have it there for general protection the rest of the time. The screen cover was easy to apply without bubbles.

I recently bought a MacBook and I wanted to buy a cover for it. I saw many people with this case and I decided to try it out. I got the blue case. It's quiet good, it really protects the Macbook quiet well and the keyboard was a nice plus. To put the case on was the easy part, it was quiet simple, just follow the video and that's all to it. To remove it was the hard part. The video makes it look quiet easy, I tried following the video but it didn't work. You have to use a lot of pressure to remove it, even then it might still not come off. No matter how much I tried it wouldn't come off, I was regretting buying the product. As a last resort, I used a quarter and went all the around the edges until I removed it off. Thank god there wasn't any scratches on my MacBook. If you would like to buy case for your MacBook and never take it off, then this would be a great case.

I was kind of afraid to order it at first. Since it was cheap and a package, I thought it'd be awfully made. But the package came quick and a lot better than I expected.I ordered the blue cover that came with matching keyboard cover as well a screen protector. The color is nearly true to picture but just a tad bit more transparent.I take my laptop around a lot so the edges does get kind of blackened from dust but I find wiping it with wet towel cleans it pretty good.Overall, I'd buy this product again.

I bought this case for my Macbook air in July and it is currently January and it's already breaking. The case itself is true to color, as well as the Soft-Touch. The keyboard cover at first makes it challenging to press the keys, so you have to "wear it in" first. The keyboard cover also dims the backlighting on the keyboard as well as muffles the sound just a little bit. The screen protector works well, however there is no tool to smooth out the air bubbles. For the case itself, it does its job of in-closing the computer, as well as protects it, however this case is not durable. Within the first week of owning it the left-hand corner on the top case snapped, along with on of the side holders that run along the bottom case. But all in all, this case works great for the cost, as well as all the additions to it. Plus it has a variety of colors, and styles that match anyones desires.

It's good! There's nothing wrong with it, you just have to make sure you've snapped everything in because there are multiple snaps lol. I didn't put the screen protector on, mostly because I don't think it's necessary for me to have. The keyboard cover is okay, just a little odd to get used to. The hole for the caps lock doesn't line up which sucks. You can still see it but I wish it lined up better. And I just noticed that when the keyboard is backlit a lot of it doesn't match up so I probably won't be using the keyboard cover that often actually. Overall I'm happy with it. I just ordered some redbubble stickers to put on it and I'm very excited!

I was very happy with the look of this product and what seemed like mostly positive reviews when I purchased it back in August. I pretty much take my computer to work and home in a padded computer bag via car (not public transportation). I noticed a couple months ago, one of the "stability stands" had fallen off and just recently another one has gone missing. But more frustrating is that the case is cracked on the bottom. At first I thought the crack was small and wouldn't cause a problem, but it seems to be catching on things which I fear is only going to make the crack worse. I loved that this case was such a vibrant blue and that you could still slightly see through it. But after reading more reviews about how the quality has decreased recently, I feel that this may not be as good as it once was.

It was great when I first got it, but it didn't fit securely (the right side of the case didn't snap onto the base of my laptop) and the rubber feet popped out on multiple occasions and I ended up losing most of them. I recently found the side cracked and a chunk of plastic was missing after having it for less than 4 months. I love the matte look and feel as it gives my computer a really professional, clean look, however I probably won't be purchasing again because it was just too cheap. :(

I order two hard cases from TopCase; Aqua Blue for a 13" 2015 MacBook Pro retina which fit perfectly. The color is beautiful and matches the color advertised online. The second case (Grey) was for a 13" 2009 MacBook Pro non-retina. The color is the same as shown online and the bottom shell fits fine, however the tabs that lock it into place are in the front close to the track pad, are very sharp and scrap my wrist when I type. Would be nicer if they had placed the locking tabs on the side instead. The top fits around the edges fine and locks into place. However, it does not fit snug against the top. It "bubbles" out away from the surface about 1/4 of an inch. Because of its distance from the top of the lid, I'm concerned that it is going to scratch the edges of the lid because of its constant flexing when I carry it or pull it out of my briefcase. Additionally, due to the distance of the cover from the top, the apple logo is very blurry (though it's not a big concern). Due to my concerns of the lid getting scratched, I'll purchase a case from a different vendor.

At first, this cover was great and looked amazing! After a couple of months I took the bottom piece off due to damage and only had the keyboard cover and top piece on my Macbook. The top piece has accumulated several chips over time and looks terrible so it was taken off as well. The keyboard cover works fine! I am very careful with my Macbook so there really is no reason for this case to be chipping. One time, I simply picked my computer up and walked across the room with it to see a piece of it fall to the floor. It is of very low quality and is not very durable. I would not recommend this cover if you expect good protection for your Mac!

I have a *Speck case for my MacBook Pro w/o Retina display and wanted to order another case but in a pretty blue color which speck did not have that certain blue i wanted. I decided to order this one and it is not really good. It is super thin and does not properly stay onto your macbook. For the top cover, it snaps on in 2 places at the top and 2 places on the bottom but thats it. its fits, but you can easily pull the cover on the sides of the macbook. same goes for the bottom, but it does not fit into place on the left and right sides by the disc drive and the usb/power ports. Its so thin and flimsy by the ports and looks like it is falling off the macbook. It does have the rubberized texture but it still feels too much like plastic. Ill stick to my *Speck case I have now.

As far as construction, I will say it is pretty much what I was looking for. A solid, not rubber, case. My disappointment is two fold. First, due to the complaints of scratching, I was planning on using a skinit to provide my personal touch to the computer. So I figured a clear case would provide protection but still show my individual support for my OSU buckeyes....well clear isn't exactly correct. This is a frosted cover and causes things to be very cloudy. I checked to make sure there was no protective plastic that I needed to remove and I did not. It just is not what I would call clear. Fit seems to be ok, but I am concerned of how long until it becomes loose and won't stay on. Second, why even try and sell with a "free" keyboard cover? this is nothing more than a cheap rubber key protector that doesn't even secure to the keypads. The only thing it is good for is filling your trash can. Sorry, if you want a cheap case, that may last a few months, then this is the case to get. Just don't order the clear, if you want to see clearly thru it, and don't expect to be able to utilize the free keyboard cover.

The second day of me using and having the case on my computer i noticed white marks all over the case and I couldn't figure out what it was from... a tried wiping the marks off the case with different products and nothing worse... the case looks so dirty with white dirt marks all over it and the other day it cracked when i was trying to take the case off my mac to clean the case more detailed and it cracked in 2 different areas and now a corner of the case is missing... dont know what to do now... but i must say the screen protector that came with this order was amazing and i definitely love that.. it fit perfect on my screen and sometimes i forgot i even have the screen protector on because it fit and went on so well.

As others have said, the keyboard cover left my screen very marked-up, and it slowed down my typing, so I stopped using it early on. The case started losing its rubberized "feet" early on and within six months the tabs that held the bottom cover on had broken. Cheaply made.

I am super sad because on the screen it seemed precious and they sent me the item scratched and the pad for the keys is not according to the measures. I loved the color but I don't like buying scratched items. Oh and also the screen protector is not the correct size it came small.

This case was very difficult to snap onto the Macbook.My 15 year old daughter was unable to do it without help.It took about 10 minutes of effort to get this simple case to snap into place.It was kind of like trying to put a too-small fitted sheet onto a mattress.Let's hope it the case stays on the computer.

I recently made a review that this product was causing my hinge to loosen and was very DISAPPOINTED in my purchase with it. Although I am mistaken, I am still not very happy with my purchase. The product itself for looks is a great deal. It is very affordable and offers all the "necessities." However, I DID think that my hinge on my three week old Macbook Air was loosening. When I first put it on, I noticed that the top case and bottom case touched at the hinge at a certain point and restricted my MacBook from going further back, to do so it REQUIRED a small amount of FORCE. After a while, I noticed that whenever my screen would reach a certain point back, or a certain point when I closed it it would just SAG and slowly fall into a position. I found out that MacBooks have really great hinges, so I knew it was the case. Also, my friend also experienced the same thing with the screen slowly falling into a position. After I took off the top case (which was extremely DIFFICULT) I realized that the weight of the top case was too heavy and caused the screen to slowly collapse at different points of leverage. I do not think that is good for the laptop since it may, in time, loosen MacBook's hinge and shorter the span of your computer. The company shouldaddress reasons as to why these things occur and warn us before purchasing it, as these aspects may harm our laptops. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. However, if you're fine with having your screen FALL and MOVE unnecessarily, go right ahead.

The case was ok It didn't last very long for me at leastIt was great when I had it on but when I wanted to switch my case it was literally impossible to take off. I watched youtube videos to see how other people got it off but when i tried with this product it didn't come off (Mine cracked and it still wouldn't come off just saying...but eventually i got it off) [photo is attached]The keyboard cover and screen protector are great though.It should provide adequate protection if you just want one case and don't plan on taking it off or changing it

The case did not fit my MacBook correctly. I decided that I would rather have it fit a little off rather than leave it unprotected, but within a week it cracked and broke when I sat it down on the table. I didn't slam or drop it, I simply sit it down and noticed a long crack along the side of the case. I may have occurred at any point in my backpack, but considering I use a motorcycle backpack with a hardshell outer and a well lined/padded interior--it seems unlikely. I don't recommend, look elsewhere for protection.

Very disappointed with this product. After reading mostly positive reviews for this product, I was optimistic, but after receiving it, I likely would not have purchased. I will keep this sub par product for the fact that the cost of return shipping dwarfs the refund amount I would receive and it's honestly just not worth the hassle- it does not make sense to have to pay twice for shipping for a product that did not meet my expectations.The quality of the product is fine, the case is plastic but has a rubbery feel so it feels smooth to the touch and seems as though it will help prevent sliding (though I wouldn't solely rely on this case for maximum protection). It covers everything nicely but the longevity of a plastic product is questionable no matter how well one cares for it.My problem with this case is the color. I ordered black thinking it would be a deep black with a sleek matte finish but it is more of a matte navy blue than anything. The dullness of the black was immediately apparent as I pulled it out of the box but after putting it on, you would have to know it was supposed to be black rather than navy. The apple logo still shines through however, it is fairly dull underneath the case and the navy sheen takes away from its brightness.

I have two main issues with this set up. The case is clipped on in the most awkward areas, right under where both of my palms sit when I type so I feel the plastic clip underneath my wrists so it makes typing annoying.Second, the keyboard cover is a joke. It is so poorly made that it made my space bar stick down and multiple other keys stick down. It does not fit the laptop. Does not provide any protection. Cheap, very very poor construction and finishing. Even the free mouse pad is bad. Returned next day. Was trying to replace my 3 or 4 years old speck case. Got this because of the price. I know now why it was only 14$ and no 40 like the speck I was replacing. Will stay with what I have.

The top cover works fine. Fits snuggly. The keyboard is perfect for keeping out the dust and looks great. takes some time getting used to as its raised and feels different when typing but that I love..Sadly the bottom base of the case is horrible. It does not sit on the base of the computer nicely at all. it's a cheap plastic and it does not hold in place, it comes right off. Totally not worth buying. Go to apple and get a good one.. I was so mad that it didnt work out. But I the top piece works nicely as well as the keyboard so.....

I have only had this for a few weeks and the rubber on the case is pealing off. I only take it from my laptop bag to my desk. I feel this should not be happing or at least not happen in a few weeks.. I take care of my stuff and there is no way the rubber should be peeling. I would buy a different manufactures case if I was you...

Second update: I've had the case for 3 months and am looking for a new one. The finger prints/oil marks from your hand are disappointment. I ended up buying a different case.Update: The case picks up any hint of moisture or oil from your hands and it's really hard to get off of the case.Original: The "airy blue" is much more of a dusty gray/blue than the picture makes it appear.

Purchased this case in rose gold. Texture was not soft, as described in the name. Keyboard skin did NOT come in rose color as shown. Screen protector is extremely flimsy. Case is also very opaque, and the apple symbol did not show through. Very disappointed with this purchase, and would not recommend.

When i recieved the item i was excited. red is my favorite color and I was tired of placing my macbook back in its box. When I opened the packaging the first thing I noticed was the keyboard cover was very thin (cheap feeling) and the painted key covers were off center. The actual cover was to big like it was made for a 15" but the packaging said 13". Finally the screen protector is super small and only covers the illuminated part of the screen, it does not go out to the edges (doesn't cover the black part or the camera

My computer case is cracked in 3 places. I hardly ever travel with my computer, so it is usually just sitting on my desk at home, and I have never dropped it. I'm not sure what caused it to crack, but it did not last but maybe a month before it got it's first crack. Quality is cheap and obviously not durable. Do not recommend. Better off spending a little more for a higher quality case.

Disappointed with the fit of the computer case. Won't stay on computer; can't even use. The carrying bag is okay except you can't zip the bag and use the handles because the handles are on the inside of the bag. The mouse and mouse pad were fine. The keyboard cover was not made well at all; very cheap; doesn't stay on - moves all over the place. This package was a waste of money. We're only using the carrying bag (without the handles). This was my daughter's birthday gift. I would never recommend this package to anyone.

Laptop case:Bad quality item. It started cracking around the clips area approximately two weeks after putting it on the MacBook Air. Also, the item its rubberized so it captures fingerprints - which turned out to be very difficult to get off due to the item material.Keyboard skin:It gets scratched from the typing, and it started to look dirty from all the scratches that it gets from typing with the fingertips.
