Great Stool.
December 27, 2016
Very sturdy stool. I like that you can fold it easily and take it with you if needed. I weight 140 pounds and I felt safe sitting on it without fearing that it would collapse on me. It also has a small button that locks in place to avoid it from collapsing. Good quality.
Great value for a solid bench
November 16, 2016
Great value for a bench. It looks good and feels solid, yet it's lightweight. The instructions fail to show you how to adjust the height, but it's fairly easy to figure out. You'll need a few wrenches, and there are only three fixed heights available.
Perfect Bench for my Son

The bench is great for my 9 year old and is a great improvement from his ikea chair that he used previously. It's well crafted, super simple to use and is collapsible.

And again, another great product from Amazon. Easy to assemble, and cheap price. :)
Happy with it so far
March 30, 2016
Just assembled it and it'll work well for what I need it to do. It was easy to assemble and would have been even faster except my clumsy fingers kept dropping the tiny L wrench. Feels sturdy enough that I'm not scared my to put my numark on it.
A little tall but solid
February 22, 2016
What can I say? It's a keyboard stand. It works. It's very stable and extremely sturdy. Structurally sound and great quality for the finish. The stand is adjustable for seated use or stand up use if you need. I use this on a 61 key MIDI controller. Should work well with a 49 key keyboard in the seated position which would move the left and right support tubes to their widest positions. It is a little high if you are used to playing at seated piano position, but I use this to position my controller next to my DAW workstation and only use it for composition and patch work. If you do stand up stage work, you'll love the higher adjustments. Under $30... can't beat it.

November 17, 2014
Bought this almost 3 years ago and I'm finally getting around to writing a review! It's a pretty good stand. It holds my 76 key keyboard without problem. Easy to assemble, relatively lightweight, and a lot of options for height. It's put up with a lot of abuse over the past few years and it hasn't really shown on the stand. Still holds it's position great. I did have to tighten the bolts about a year ago but that's not a big deal at all.My keyboard doesn't rest completely flat on it which causes a bit of a wobble when I play but that's nothing a piece of cardboard can't fix. I suspect that it's a problem with my keyboard and not the stand, obviously.

Great Keyboard Pedal!
April 30, 2017
This is the best pedal I've found for Casio keyboards. It isn't very loud, but it does sustain as it should. Very glad I purchased it!
Very happy
March 28, 2017
Much better build quality than the M-Audio pedals. Casual players won't notice a difference, but if you play every day then this pedal is a must-have.
just like at piano lessons
May 6, 2016
Using with a casio keyboard. My son wanted to be able to use the sustain pedal on his keyboard, just like at piano lessons, and this does the job. I looked at the cheaper casio pedal that looks like an old sewing machine foot pedal and was not impressed, so I sprung the extra $10 for this one. Works well.
GREAT PEDAL FOR CASIOS!
July 12, 2013
After purchasing several universal keyboard pedals, I decided to do a little researching. After searching the internet, I decided to just check reviews of pedals on Amazon. I wish I had done this a few wasted pedal purchases & months earlier. I discovered via the reviews that Casio had a "reversed" polarity in their keyboards - thus the reason why non-Casio pedals worked briefly or not at all with my Casio-WK3800. The Casio SP20 works great. It looks & feels like a sustain pedal from any grand piano - with no slipping or sliding on carpet or non-carpeted floors. Thanks Amazon for posting reviews on items purchased. They led me in the right direction.
Very satisfied
October 25, 2012
I've only played about an hour with it so far, but it was heavier and higher quality than I expected--this is a good thing! I really like this pedal.I chose this one over the others I saw because of the 90 degree plug that allows the cord to fall nicely behind the keyboard. The straight plugs don't make sense to me for this application--the cord would stick out behind your keyboard and you'd have tension pulling down on the cable possibly causing issues later on.
Best Pedal for Casio Keyboards.
October 19, 2012
I've been playing piano for most of my life (24 years), and Casio keyboards for almost 15 years. I've used several different kinds (and brands) of pedals with my keyboards. At first, I had a Casio Pedal in a lower model - Either the current SP3R or the equivalent that was available 15 years ago. Either way, it was a small black plastic square, which is obviously different than the sustain pedal on an actual piano. Likewise, it felt just about as real as it looked; it consstantly slid out of place was very stiff - i pretty much had to stomp on it to make sure it was all the way down. One night, it literally broke into pieces in the middle of a gig, and I started using more life-like pedals from other keyboard brands.I had borrowed friends' pedals from Yamaha (and a few more brands i don't remember) and quickly learned that they worked the opposite way of how they were supposed to work; when i didn't step on the pedal the notes would sustain, and stopped when i stepped down. Appearantly, all Casio keyboards are made with the opposite polarity of most brands ... great. I knew a couple of keyboardists who could play with a pedal like that, but I could never get the hang of it.So I eventually got a "universal" pedal from OnStage Gear. It has a polarity switch on the bottom so that it should work with any keyboard. For a year or two, it worked fine (with a little slippage here and there). But gradually it became unreliable. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I tested the switch on a friend's Yamaha keyboard and it worked, but not on my Casio. I got another one that immeadiately started acting funny on me, and the third one didn't work for me at all, though they all worked fine on my friend's Yamaha. Then I finally found the Casio SP20. It looked and felt real, the rubber textured bottom kept it from slipping, and most of all IT WORKED! The only reason i just got a new one after three years is because I sold it with my old Casio keyboard (in order to get a higher model Casio). So far, this new pedal works just as great as the last one does. The Casio SP20 truly is the ONLY sustain pedal I've found that works RELIABLY with Casio keyboards.

Purchased this for my daughter to use at her electronic piano. Very sturdy, sufficiently adjustable, good price. She uses it and it's very stable, as she squirms a lot but it stays put.
Great for a "second" seating option
December 10, 2015
It's not very comfortable, and it doesn't seem like it could hold too much weight, but we needed an "extra" stool at the piano for practice sessions with our kids, and it works great as an extra. I wouldn't recommend it as your ONLY seating option for playing an instrument though. Folding it up is also a little tricky, so we just leave it down all the time. It's really nice and compact so it doesn't get in the way at all. It just fits under the piano along with the regular bench. The price is right too.
Almost perfect!
March 9, 2015
Seems a bit rickety at first, but once you set it up and apply weight, it's surprisingly sturdy. Folds up very easily (almost too easily--gave my knee a good bonk the first time), and is low-profile. I recommend picking up some fabric, additional padding and a staple gun to upholster over the existing seat, but I have an unusually bony behind, so this might just be a preference and not general complaint.Otherwise, it's very portable, lightweight and so far, quite sturdy. I recommend this a s a very decent budget piano bench!

Reasonably sturdy, but...
November 16, 2015
One of the 8 holes for mounting the legs was improperly tapped; I almost stripped one of the screws trying to get it to go. Luckily, I had a couple of self-tapping screws with the same thread (but much shorter) in a junk drawer, which I "sacrificed" to open up the threads so that the actual screw would go in and snug up. Glad I didn't have to send it back for that. The height adjustment seems to be biased towards a standing player; it is too high for a seated player unless you have a cushion added to your chair, or an adjustable stool. My Casio CTK-400 keyboard (plastic structure) would not sit flat on this stand; I had to remove one of the rubber "bumpers" under the right front to get the keyboard steady. For the price, It'll do.
It works, however...
November 11, 2015
With my Casio Privia PX160, it is too high when it is assembled according to the instructions. I just started learning piano and even at the lowest setting it was very uncomfortable. As someone mentioned above, if you rotate it 90 degrees and swap two of the rods, it can be adjusted to the perfect height. It's strange that it works out this way but it does indeed fix the issue. I wouldn't use it like that professionally, of course.
Sturdy, easy to assemble
July 28, 2015
Sturdy, easy to assemble, easy to adjust heightsFeet feel too deep. While that makes things sturdy and balanced, I wish I could push this closer to the wall. Right now it feels like there's a good outstretched-hand's-width between my keyboard and the wall, but the feet of the stand are backed all the way up to the wall. I can't push the keyboard back any further because the bars on top are much shorter than the feet. Not an issue if you have a lot of space, but for me, I really wish I had that extra 6-8 inches (heh)
Worth the work of having to build it.
April 12, 2014
I am a singer in a band and have to play the piano in a few songs. This stand is great for standing in front of and staying in the upright position. My other stand I have has a pin that you pull in order to adjust the height which makes it easy. The Casio ARDX stand requires unscrewing a knob a pain if you are used to the other way. It fits a Roland X6 perfectly. It is a little complicated to put it together. The pieces aren't well labeled, but the pictures make it easy-ish. It only took 10 minutes, though I had to undo a few mis-alignments at the beginning.
Sturdy stand but swap feet if you want to sit!
February 24, 2014
IF YOU PLAN TO SIT, ASSEMBLE THE FEET ACCORDINGLY! Many people have said the stand is too tall, since it's meant to use playing standing up. However if you swap out the feet properly, you can adjust it to the right height.I did not receive the same one as the photo, I received one that has a cross bar with a bolt that's adjusts the height. KEEP IN MIND THAT IF YOU RECEIVE THIS ONE, YOU MUST ADD AN ADDITIONAL NUT AND BOLT TO THE CROSSBAR SO IT DOESNT BUCKLE!
Sturdy Stand
January 1, 2014
I assembled it per instructions and like others have stated it was too tall, especially for my 4' 10" wife. I took giga's advice and rotated it 90 degrees and problem solved. When you rotate the stand one of the longer horizontal pieces that belongs on the bottom will be on the top but you can switch it since it will bolt up to either end. The height adjustment will be on one side, vertical and work in reverse. You have to be careful because if the adjustment bolt becomes loose the linkage could jackknife and dump your keyboard. I took care of that problem by installing a 2nd bolt in the linkage. The stand was almost too wide for the 61 key keyboard by the time I lowered it enough but it works.

December 8, 2016
I've used this for probably 5 shows. The unit seems solid for the price. It functions well as a sustain pedal and feels good underfoot. It does however move all over the place, even on carpeted surfaces. That said, I've yet to find a keyboard sustain pedal that sits where I want it to all night so, take that into consideration. I'd just love to find one that I don't have to reposition after every song.

January 20, 2016
I do like it, but am surprised that it does not sustain the notes for very long. I expected it to work more like a piano sustain pedal. Also, it tends to slide a lot, and I have had to be inventive to keep it in place.

November 16, 2014
Good pedal. Works with my Casio Privia series piano.Doesn't slip and weighted well. It is not a half damping pedal (for some reason I thought it was when I purchased it).
Good heavy feel.
March 25, 2014
Sits on floor well, doesnt move. Press down to sustain, and lift to end the note. Heavy durable feel. MUCH better than the free one that came with the casio keyboard i got.
Great pedal for my Casio CTK-710!
January 15, 2014
The pedal came in timely manner, with all the packaging and warranty papers. Easy to use, just plug in and play. It closely resembles the pedal of a real piano. It does what it is supposed to do, sustaining the sound of your keyboard until the pedal is released. Then why 4 stars? The sustain sounds great, but does not last as long as I expected like on a real piano. Then again, a keyboard is not going to sound like a piano. Therefore, it's just my personal preference, and not the Casio's fault.

Would not recommend or buy again.
February 1, 2016
Bought this for my kid to use with her Casio electric piano. She is small for her age, so she can use it for at least a year or two. The Casio Arbench is okay for a cheap, lightweight and somewhat wobbly piano stool. I can't imagine how any adult would comfortably and safely use this for a long amount of time. It could be made more stable had Casio simply spent another 5¢ to add a locking pin to the other side of the attached folding leg of the stool.
Good stool, terrible feet ends.
January 8, 2016
We've had this stool for a year now. It started out as the stool to go with a keyboard.... but turned into a stool that we use as a desk chair. It's the perfect height - but also, it's so small that it disappears right beneath the desk when needed. I wish the rubber feet ends wouldn't come off constantly. We actually are missing 1 completely (cats!). I would give it 5 stars if the rubber feet stayed on.

Not as adjustable as I had hoped
May 27, 2017
I thought this stand was much more adjustable than it truly is. This stand is made for someone who is performing standing. I had purchased it for my son to practice on his keyboard while sitting, which he could not due. We kept it because I didn't have an alternate solution at the time. It works for its intended purpose, but not ours. I just wish it could be adjustable to much lower heights.
Turn sideways for less height!
April 18, 2017
I've been using this stand for around a year so far. This stand is way too tall if you use it as pictured. I decided to rotate it 90° so the adjustment bar is vertical, putting it at a much better height. There is a small bit of give, but its been holding my Casio PX160 bk just fine.
Got a little less that what I paid for
August 28, 2015
Package arrived busted open. No extra packing material or tape was used to ship it. I came straight off of the shelf. Powder coating on the legs is uneven and sloppy at the ends. Will have to apply some sealant or paint to prevent corrosion. If it was for any other use than my daughter learning to play piano/keyboard here at the house I would return it. But for the price and the hassle of taking it apart and shipping it back and waiting for a replacement, it just isn't worth my time. Really a shame such a good company as Casio would allow there name to go on such a mediocre at best product.
Doesn't work well if you want to sit down and play..
June 21, 2014
I bought this for my studio and was really disappointed to find that I couldn't get the keyboard low enough to play comfortably when sitting on a piano bench. I had to go to the hardware store and make my own extension for the thing that adjusts. This is probably great for someone who stands up when they play or are at a gig standing up.. but this is not good for practicing while sitting down.
Convenient But Broke After 16 Months
March 9, 2014
We purchased this stand to have a portable stand for local small gigs. It is convenient to set up and fairly cheap, but one of the permanent joints (screws) broke and came out of the frame after only about 16 months. So now we have to get a new one, because it's not really fixable. It's not expensive, but it's inconvenient, and you shouldn't have to worry about this kind of thing after such a short amount of time. We also treated it very well and carefully. No throwing around or anything.
Does the job, but is a tad too tall.
October 25, 2011
After reading the reviews I took a chance, since my keyboard is CASIO and heavy I thought it best to buy their stand. The stand is great as far as supporting the weight, BUT it is too tall. I am in search of a bar stool and that is on the stands lowest level---hard to play when your elbows are too high. The manufacturer box--not amazon's box--was also mangled as though the product had been returned and then sent to me, evidenced by the retaping of the box and the scratch on the leg. I have considered sending it back, but the price makes it feel worthy as it serves its purpose.

January 4, 2016
Works decently well as a sustain pedal. You kinda have to push down hard to get it to work though. It's fine to play with if you're used to pushing the pedal with your whole foot - you won't even notice a difference. But if you're used to playing with your toes, it'll be kinda hard to press. All in all, it's a good pedal.

Still can't do soft pedalling!
February 25, 2014
I don't think that you can do much soft pedalling with a casino branded piano. Probably go with a Yamaha piano if you want your piano to have better capability with soft pedalling.
Decent
August 26, 2013
I got this pedal a few years ago and am still using it. However, if you are using the pedal on some types of carpet it is hard for the pedal to stay in place. In all, this is great for the casio pianos and sustains the sound clearly.

Too Short! Don't buy unless you are over 6'6" and then it might not hold you well.
July 15, 2016
I'm 6 feet tall and have plenty of upper body length, but my arms are still below the keyboard. I put books under the bench and needed about 6 inches to get my forearms where they don't have to angle up to reach the keyboard. This bench is too short, making it uncomforable to play. I only gave it 2 stars instead of 1, since I can still sit on it.

Have to say something. This stand really confused me when I put my keyboard (Casio Privia BK160) on it - my keyboard slides! After several days, the back of my keyboard was scratched, and I can't play with much strength since I'm afraid of the keyboard falling down.
Oddball stand
May 6, 2016
I want to start out by addressing a major factor in stand selection before continuing with the review. My acoustic piano, the top of the white keys measures at 28.5 inches from the ground, and from reading, most pianos range from around 28 to 30 inches in height. So keep this in mind when picking out a keyboard stand. This one starts at 28 inches, as another reviewer noted, unless you jerry rig it or at least assemble it without following the instructions. And unless you have a really short keyboard, you're already going to start with this being pretty tall off the ground. However, this is really a problem with X stands more than anything, you really sacrifice usability for ease of setup and teardown with an X stand. Now on to the review:I've found this to be a rather oddball stand. I use this with a Casio Privia PX-5s, and after several months of using it, I've come to several conclusions.1. The stand is both too tall at its shortest setting for playing when sitting, and too short at its tallest setting when standing. I do think most X stands have the problem of being too tall for sitting, but most can adjust to an acceptable standing height, while this one, not so much. You can jerry-rig it as others have commented and shown workarounds, so if you already own it, well at least there's that. But if you're looking for a stand to buy, take heed here. I have several piano benches, and none of them are tall enough. I do have a drum throne that could work, but it puts me at an unnatural height when compared to sitting at my acoustic piano.2. For some reason, whoever designed this decided to flute the tubing. This is entirely non-standard for any other stand manufacturer, and it means you can't add a second tier or other accessories like a microphone attachment, that fit into standard tubing.3. The more I move it around, taking it from rehearsals to jam sessions or to just play out, all the bolts work themselves loose within a day or two, regardless of what amounting of tightening I do. As another indication of stability concerns, I stuck my 75 lb stage piano on it, and it made me extremely nervous, as parts shift around under load way more than you would expect. So I don't use this stand with any keyboard of any meaningful weight.4. You're very likely to mar the heck out of the bottom of your keyboard. The flimsy, yet strangely hard plastic tubes that are supposed to protect the keyboard from the stand don't actually grip your keyboard in any meaningful way, so your keyboard slides around a good bit. Definitely by comparison to other keyboard stands I've used that use rubber to protect the bottom of your keyboard and to grip it from sliding, I just don't get why Casio went this route.I really can't recommend this stand. There are just way too many strange quirks.
I'm 5'3", and it does not set low enough to play the keyboard comfortably.
February 8, 2016
I'm 5'3", and it does not set low enough to play the keyboard comfortably. In order to play comfortably, I need to use a stool that's so tall that my feel don't reach the ground and hence cannot pedal properly.
Stand Delivered Not Same as the Stand Pictured on Amazon
March 5, 2013
The stand is not the same stand pictured on Amazon. The one Amazon shipped to me has a different adjustment mechanism than the one Amazon advertise. The height adjustment is not suitable as it will not adjust low enough for playing while seated. A very tall person would probably not have a problem, but average height people would probably find it uncomfortable unless they play it standing up. Also the rubber feet-tips to protect against scratching wood floor finishes are very hard and would scratch the floor. They appear to be made of a hard rubberized plastic product.......Very Cheap. Rubber feet-tips should also keep the keyboard from moving around, but they're not functional for that task either. Overall I'm pretty disappointed in the quality from Casio and the misleading advertising by Amazon.
Stand affects quality of your play
January 9, 2012
WAY TOO TALL, I'm a tad over 6', and I've got to sit on a couple of folded towels and books in order for my wrists to be at key level. I used it with the Casio Privia 130, which is a bit thick for a keyboard, but sitting in such an awkward position makes is difficult to play pieces effectively and translate practice to an actual piano. Coming from 13 years of piano experience, if you have a piano with any sort of thickness to it, I would not recommend this stand.

August 16, 2017
The metal on the end you put your foot on moves side to side by 1/4 inch so the plastic stop underneath hits the side of the hollowed out metal and misses the felt pad that's stuck to the metal bit and makes a metal to plastic 'clack' noise. I have put a old sock over the base bit and this helps the noise, thought a branded make would have been better made. Two stars only cus it works on a casio ctk 6250.....not sure how long the pedal is going to last, perhaps that's why it's on offer.

I don't know why I got so bad luck for recent shopping
July 25, 2016
I don't know why I got so bad luck for recent shopping. I bought a casio keyboard, and one of the keys makes a big and clear noise when the key bounces back, and this pedal, also makes significant noise when I step off. So when I am playing music, it naturally has a background beat, oh not only one but two, and you can imagine how annoying it is. I recorded some my plays and friend asked me if I was playing with metronome.
Worked well...for 6 months.
December 14, 2014
Worked beautifully for 6 months--easy installation, just plugged it in. Kept the sustain perfectly, like playing a real piano. Then after 6 months it suddenly stopped working completely.Disappointing. Usually Casio is a good brand, but this appears to be an inferior product.
Pretty look and nice feel, but not totally reliable or functional
November 21, 2014
This has a very nice solid, weighted feel, but the functionality is poor. Its not totally reliable. Sometimes with the pedal pressed the keys do not sustain. When lifting my foot off the pedal, the muting of the keys isn't always predictable or immediate. I use this with a casio CTK-2300 keyboard so there should not be any compatibility issues.

Too short, Description on the height/weight is wrong!
November 9, 2015
This bench is NOT 25.5 inches high, and you CANNOT adjust the seat to go higher. It is pretty dinky and the seat isn't wide enough in comparison to the length of my piano (seat is only 17" wide) for me to sit comfortably and play.BTW, the stand that is advertised to go with it, should not be paired with the Casio digital piano I bought.I am returning both items ASAP.

The height of the stand is disgusting!
July 29, 2017
This stand is not designed for someone who wants to sit on a bench and a play the piano. The height is not standard at all and you clearly realize that your hands are in wrong position. Not recommended for anyone. find something better as I'm looking for something more adjustable suitable for a pianist.
Missing hardware. Replacement too flimsy for keyboard
June 6, 2017
Received item in really neat up box covered in packing tape. The hardware, tool, and instructions were missing. Returned it and received a replacement. This stand is held up by one bolt and is not very sturdy. The keyboard slides very easily on the top. So if you accidentally brush by the keyboard, it could very easily fall off. I did not feel comfortable keeping my expensive keyboard on this stand. Returned replacement. Now I've finally been issued a "refund" for the first item. But it's minus a restocking fee and it's Amazon credit, not a debit refund. Why am I getting credit and paying a restocking fee for an item that didn't have the tool, hardware, and instructions? Very disappointed.

Only buy this stand if your name is Andre the Giant
February 19, 2016
Dear Casio: Why do you continue to torment musicians after years of complaints about this "fully adjustable to different heights" keyboard stand, that is in reality only "fully adjustable" to heights in between Andre the Giant and Lebron James? Please either clearly market this as a keyboard stand for standing only, or extend the adjustable bar to have more holes so that it can come down a few inches. Seriously, this shouldn't be that complicated. You are basically making a product that the vast majority of keyboard players can't use, not without some creative 'hacking', turning it 90 degrees, buying extra hardware, etc. I've been a loyal Casio keyboard player for over 15 years, and never had a problem with a stand's height until you sent me this clunker with my new Privia, no doubt designed for a T-rex (since even tall guys are complaining). Anyway, hopefully the next 100 bad reviews about the height won't fall on (tone)deaf ears over there at Casio. Thanks! :)
After 5 minutes, the cheap bolt snapped and my Nord fell to the ground. Garbage stand. AVOID
December 19, 2015
I assembled the stand, and placed my Nord keyboard on it. Done, or so I thought. Played a bit, and went into another room. CRASH! Keyboard on floor and stand undone. One of the cheap flimsy bolts snapped. This is a poorly designed stand, made of cheap materials. I have been playing synths and using keyboard stands since 1985 and this is one of the worst I've seen. Seriously, how can manufactures mess up something as simple as a keyboard stand? Maybe I got a defective product, I can't say for sure. But I am certain there are MUCH better stands available. Save yourself the pain of having your instrument damaged (like mine is) and avoid this piece of crap stand.
Different from the picture
January 18, 2012
The casio stand I recieved was different from the picture, which I didn't like. Therefore, I returned it. It had a bar in upper side which connects the legs. I used to have this style stand from the packge at Costco. It was a very cheap one and a x- style stand, so it didn't last long. Of course, the one I have gotten was different, because it was double x bim. Anyway, I did not like my experience. So, I did not want to keep this one. At least, product picture on Amazon site should be the same one what you will recieve.
