excellent! very sturdy chair
May 22, 2017
excellent! very sturdy chair! Use it with my electronic keyboard and it's very comfortable and stable!
Great quality, very sturdy
May 22, 2017
Very easy to put up and then lay flat. Excellent and high quality. Very sturdy.
Sturdy bench that has lasted us 7 years so far
July 16, 2016
I bought this bench back in April 2009 for my son. It is now July 2016 and I am buying another, only because the top on the original one is starting to split a bit at the edges because it has been so used and abused. This bench has held up to some heavy use, including for things it shouldn't be, like standing on it to hang a curtain rod (don't do that ;-)). Strength-wise it could go for years longer, so I will probably be recovering the old one and using it elsewhere in the house, while giving my son the new one for his piano. It is well-padded and height-adjustable, and it's a tight, sturdy bench that doesn't feel cheap, with no creaking or wiggling when you're using it. It now costs about 7 or 8 dollars more than I paid for the old one, and at that it's still a good deal, assuming the new one is made like the old (and if it isn't, I'll be back to update this review).
Get one, you'll love it. I'm getting another for my other studio.
October 23, 2013
Great seat, lightweight, inexpensive but great quality. I live the fact it's adjustable because for working at my glass torch I need it higher. For working at my jewelry bench I like it lower. I love the fact it's lightweight and so darn portable. BEST buy I ever made on Amazon. I'm getting another one!
Exactly what I was looking for
March 13, 2013
I am super pleased with this. It is a nice looking simple and light bench. Very little assembly and I was able to lower the bench easily. Just what I was looking for.Update: 5-28-2013:I am still pleased with this bench, but only now after 4 months of piano lessons did we learn that the highest setting of the bench (even with the the lowest setting of the keyboard stand) is still not tall enough for the right level for my 4 yr old son. So I do have to order a new adjustable piano bench. However, I can still use this bench in other ways. Just want to make it clear that for the young piano students, the tallest setting may not be tall enough.
good sturdy chair
October 6, 2009
It's a great sturdy chair for the keyboard... the best part is that it doesn't move or creak or rock at all when you sit on it! It feels really solid and well-made.And it's nice to be able to adjust the height - though I really can't figure out how you adjust it SIX levels, there seem to be only 3 heights you can actually achieve. I mean there are 3 holes in each of the legs, so that COULD mean that you could make 6 levels out of it, but matching hole 1 on one leg with hole 2 on the other would make the chair lopsided, wouldn't it?The only problem I had with it was the delivery, but that was more of a problem with UPS than the chair. It's a great chair and I certainly recommend buying it.

Great Keyboard Pedal!
April 30, 2017
This is the best pedal I've found for Casio keyboards. It isn't very loud, but it does sustain as it should. Very glad I purchased it!
Very happy
March 28, 2017
Much better build quality than the M-Audio pedals. Casual players won't notice a difference, but if you play every day then this pedal is a must-have.
just like at piano lessons
May 6, 2016
Using with a casio keyboard. My son wanted to be able to use the sustain pedal on his keyboard, just like at piano lessons, and this does the job. I looked at the cheaper casio pedal that looks like an old sewing machine foot pedal and was not impressed, so I sprung the extra $10 for this one. Works well.
GREAT PEDAL FOR CASIOS!
July 12, 2013
After purchasing several universal keyboard pedals, I decided to do a little researching. After searching the internet, I decided to just check reviews of pedals on Amazon. I wish I had done this a few wasted pedal purchases & months earlier. I discovered via the reviews that Casio had a "reversed" polarity in their keyboards - thus the reason why non-Casio pedals worked briefly or not at all with my Casio-WK3800. The Casio SP20 works great. It looks & feels like a sustain pedal from any grand piano - with no slipping or sliding on carpet or non-carpeted floors. Thanks Amazon for posting reviews on items purchased. They led me in the right direction.
Very satisfied
October 25, 2012
I've only played about an hour with it so far, but it was heavier and higher quality than I expected--this is a good thing! I really like this pedal.I chose this one over the others I saw because of the 90 degree plug that allows the cord to fall nicely behind the keyboard. The straight plugs don't make sense to me for this application--the cord would stick out behind your keyboard and you'd have tension pulling down on the cable possibly causing issues later on.
Best Pedal for Casio Keyboards.
October 19, 2012
I've been playing piano for most of my life (24 years), and Casio keyboards for almost 15 years. I've used several different kinds (and brands) of pedals with my keyboards. At first, I had a Casio Pedal in a lower model - Either the current SP3R or the equivalent that was available 15 years ago. Either way, it was a small black plastic square, which is obviously different than the sustain pedal on an actual piano. Likewise, it felt just about as real as it looked; it consstantly slid out of place was very stiff - i pretty much had to stomp on it to make sure it was all the way down. One night, it literally broke into pieces in the middle of a gig, and I started using more life-like pedals from other keyboard brands.I had borrowed friends' pedals from Yamaha (and a few more brands i don't remember) and quickly learned that they worked the opposite way of how they were supposed to work; when i didn't step on the pedal the notes would sustain, and stopped when i stepped down. Appearantly, all Casio keyboards are made with the opposite polarity of most brands ... great. I knew a couple of keyboardists who could play with a pedal like that, but I could never get the hang of it.So I eventually got a "universal" pedal from OnStage Gear. It has a polarity switch on the bottom so that it should work with any keyboard. For a year or two, it worked fine (with a little slippage here and there). But gradually it became unreliable. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I tested the switch on a friend's Yamaha keyboard and it worked, but not on my Casio. I got another one that immeadiately started acting funny on me, and the third one didn't work for me at all, though they all worked fine on my friend's Yamaha. Then I finally found the Casio SP20. It looked and felt real, the rubber textured bottom kept it from slipping, and most of all IT WORKED! The only reason i just got a new one after three years is because I sold it with my old Casio keyboard (in order to get a higher model Casio). So far, this new pedal works just as great as the last one does. The Casio SP20 truly is the ONLY sustain pedal I've found that works RELIABLY with Casio keyboards.

Good mechanics
February 11, 2017
More comfortable than I thought it would be. Unfortunately, my tired old butt can't sit on it for ever. So, the lesson would be, of course, sit while you're young. Fun to also move around the apartment and sit in front of stuff you have to fix or plug in or eat at(tv tray), etc. and the mechanical part is perfect for my skills.
Totally functional
December 2, 2016
This has been a totally great addition to the keyboard in our living room, replacing an antique bench that wasn't padded and wasn't sturdy enough to trust. My sweetheart ends up playing guitar and hand drums on it as well. It is not quickly adjustable, but we didn't need that functionality.
Surprisingly steady
May 15, 2014
I bought this to go with the Yamaha YPG-235 76-Key Portable Grand Piano Premium Pack for my grandson (age 3). I was afraid it would tip over easily but it was surprisingly steady. We did put a footstool in front of it so he could climb up onto the bench more easily. This stool was just fine for myself or my daughter to use. It's actually mroe adjustable than a piano bench, with three height adjustments. The highest adjustment worked well for the 3-yr-old and my daughter and I could still play easily on it, too.It took 3 days before my grandson figured out how much fun it was to punch holes in the plastic covering the foam. The stool top is now covered in black duct tape. I don't know what you could cover it with that's strong enough to keep pre-schoolers from punching through the top but you might want to try that before the pre-schoolers get at it.
Pretty Good - For The Inexpensive Buyer (Harpist)
March 21, 2013
I purchased this bench, because I wanted something temporary for my harp playing. I'm 5.6 Inches tall, my lever harp is a Camac Concert Melusine about 4.6 in height. When sitting on the bench, I'm about 4. 5 (I think that's right) It's quite good. I got this bench, because I was having problems sitting comfortable; shifting every now and then. This was mostly due to sitting on a wood bench, with a pillow over it. Not comfortable after an hour of playing. I just wanted an inexpensive bench for the time being. It doesn't compromise my sitting at all. This bench is very comfortable and I do find sitting up straight easy. Now, the bench only has two levels. It only goes down one notch. With that said, this could be seen as a temporary bench for a harpist, until you can find a bench more suitably made for harpists; one you can bring down or up two or more notches. On added bonus is the bench can be folded and stored.
Max height 20 3/4" -- too short for me
September 22, 2011
The bench was reasonably well made and easy to set up. If the height range works for you (and you haven't had too many supersized meals) then this bench would be a decent purchase. However, it was not tall enough for me.Neither the product description nor the reviews available at the time of ordering had any information on the actual heights of the bench. So, for the sake of anyone considering this bench, the heights of the bench I received ranged from 19 to 20 3/4 inches.
Good quality for price
March 22, 2011
The bench was well packaged and arrived in perfect order. It appears well made - the welds are good, the legs are straight and square (there is no wobble whatsoever) and the hard rubber (or plastic?) caps at the ends of the tubes do a great job preventing the bench from sliding on our hardwood floor. The padding of the seat is thick and comfortable. The only thing I do not like are two stickers on one of the legs I am struggling to get off - I may have to try with some de-natured alcohol. It also remains to be seen how long the faux leather upholstery will last without cracking. In summary though we are happy with the bench. It may not be beautiful but it is solid and works - what more can you expect for the price?

December 8, 2016
I've used this for probably 5 shows. The unit seems solid for the price. It functions well as a sustain pedal and feels good underfoot. It does however move all over the place, even on carpeted surfaces. That said, I've yet to find a keyboard sustain pedal that sits where I want it to all night so, take that into consideration. I'd just love to find one that I don't have to reposition after every song.

January 20, 2016
I do like it, but am surprised that it does not sustain the notes for very long. I expected it to work more like a piano sustain pedal. Also, it tends to slide a lot, and I have had to be inventive to keep it in place.
Nice pedal
September 4, 2015
Much better than the crap one they bundle with it. This has a nice heavy base and a good feel. Definitely a must buy for something like this.
Good pedal
November 16, 2014
Good pedal. Works with my Casio Privia series piano.Doesn't slip and weighted well. It is not a half damping pedal (for some reason I thought it was when I purchased it).
Good heavy feel.
March 25, 2014
Sits on floor well, doesnt move. Press down to sustain, and lift to end the note. Heavy durable feel. MUCH better than the free one that came with the casio keyboard i got.
Great pedal for my Casio CTK-710!
January 15, 2014
The pedal came in timely manner, with all the packaging and warranty papers. Easy to use, just plug in and play. It closely resembles the pedal of a real piano. It does what it is supposed to do, sustaining the sound of your keyboard until the pedal is released. Then why 4 stars? The sustain sounds great, but does not last as long as I expected like on a real piano. Then again, a keyboard is not going to sound like a piano. Therefore, it's just my personal preference, and not the Casio's fault.

is good; however
April 14, 2015
The height of the bench, which is adjustable, is good; however, the quality of the cushion is poor - it has little support and sinks in the moment a person sits on it. Not good for the back or playing for an extended period of time.
Not the most solid bench and a little squeeky.
March 24, 2014
The padding is decent and it's comfortable enough. The materials are a little cheap however and it squeaks a lot, so if you're recording in a studio you may want to find another place to sit. However, if you're just looking for a low-priced seat this will work.
Incompetent Delivery Service
January 7, 2014
So, I needed a good piano chair to sit on. I saw that this specific chair had good reviews and purchased it.However.. WORLD TOUR decided to use the MOST incompetent USPS delivery service and, as it turns out, the product came damaged. The knob that adjusts the height was half broken, so I had to use a bit of TAPE to put back the two pieces(found other piece lurking in packaging box) together.Other than the incompetent shopping.. the chair is pretty good. Couldn't give it 5 stars because of the horrid shopping.
Just three heights may not do it for you.
December 10, 2013
This is a good bench, the thing is, that it is too specific. If you don't have exactly one of the three heights provided, then you're out of luck.ON the plus side is easy to adjust and setup, also comfortable.
Comfy but Not Fast
July 25, 2013
It has a comfortable seat and seems stable and well-made. However, if you need to haul it around frequently, it takes a bit of time to set up and screw down or open up the screws that hold the moving stability bar on the bottom of the seat. Also, if you need to adjust the height, you have to remove the entire bolt assembly seen at the crossing point of the bars, and then select one of three holes that are only an inch or some apart from each other. So, not much selection there.
Fine for shorter periods, no good for longer hours of playing
November 27, 2012
The build is fine, the look is fine, but the cushion, the whole reason it is not just a wooden bench, leaves a bit to be desired. The cushion is cheap. It is comfortable for about an hour, and then quickly becomes uncomfortable.I'd be willing to pay another $30 for a bench with memory foam, but I've not seen such a thing.

January 4, 2016
Works decently well as a sustain pedal. You kinda have to push down hard to get it to work though. It's fine to play with if you're used to pushing the pedal with your whole foot - you won't even notice a difference. But if you're used to playing with your toes, it'll be kinda hard to press. All in all, it's a good pedal.

It works great but my keyboard isn't working a few days after? could of been my kids or the pedal? Don't really know...
Still can't do soft pedalling!
February 25, 2014
I don't think that you can do much soft pedalling with a casino branded piano. Probably go with a Yamaha piano if you want your piano to have better capability with soft pedalling.
Decent
August 26, 2013
I got this pedal a few years ago and am still using it. However, if you are using the pedal on some types of carpet it is hard for the pedal to stay in place. In all, this is great for the casio pianos and sustains the sound clearly.
It's Alright
February 17, 2013
It makes the echo noises that it should but not as much as I thought it would. I had high expectations for this, but it's not too bad.

Not very stable or comfortable. If you play your keyboard or drums for more than 20 minutes, then get something more stable and comfortable.

Disappointed that it does not adjust high enough too suit comfortable play. Not suitable for play. Do not buy this.
Seams around cushion coming apart
August 30, 2013
This looked great at first but it did not take long before the seams were coming out around the cushion. Disappointing.
Good initial value, but did not hold up.
May 20, 2013
Thickly and firmly padded, and very sturdy. Vinyl cover with no obvious flaws in upholstery. Height is adjustable by removing a screw/knob and reinserting in a different notch. At the $24 I paid it is a good value, no way is it worth the $34.99 list.Update Feb 2014: A small tear appeared about a month ago. As I have three kids ranging from eight to fourteen, I cannot rule out an accident, or deliberate sabotage (as a seven year old I poked several hundred holes in my Dad's vinyl recliner, with a Bic ball point pen), so if the small tear had stayed small I would have been OK. However, the tear is now eight inches long, one inch wide in the middle, and the fabric backing has failed completely exposing bare foam padding. Turns out that the vinyl cover is very, very thin material. Demerit to two stars.
Damaged when received
December 20, 2011
I am returning this item. When I received it, one of the bottom legs was bent so it will not sit straight (it rocks back and forth) so I am returning it and buying something different. It looked like it would have been a nice bench so I gave it two stars but I was very disappointed when I got it and it was already damaged. The packaging looked fine so it must have been bent when they packaged it...

August 16, 2017
The metal on the end you put your foot on moves side to side by 1/4 inch so the plastic stop underneath hits the side of the hollowed out metal and misses the felt pad that's stuck to the metal bit and makes a metal to plastic 'clack' noise. I have put a old sock over the base bit and this helps the noise, thought a branded make would have been better made. Two stars only cus it works on a casio ctk 6250.....not sure how long the pedal is going to last, perhaps that's why it's on offer.
looks much better..
March 7, 2017
Update: the spring in it has sound when you release the pedal.. It interrupts the piano playing..Original comment: much better than the plastic one come with the Casio Piano.

I don't know why I got so bad luck for recent shopping
July 25, 2016
I don't know why I got so bad luck for recent shopping. I bought a casio keyboard, and one of the keys makes a big and clear noise when the key bounces back, and this pedal, also makes significant noise when I step off. So when I am playing music, it naturally has a background beat, oh not only one but two, and you can imagine how annoying it is. I recorded some my plays and friend asked me if I was playing with metronome.
Worked well...for 6 months.
December 14, 2014
Worked beautifully for 6 months--easy installation, just plugged it in. Kept the sustain perfectly, like playing a real piano. Then after 6 months it suddenly stopped working completely.Disappointing. Usually Casio is a good brand, but this appears to be an inferior product.
Pretty look and nice feel, but not totally reliable or functional
November 21, 2014
This has a very nice solid, weighted feel, but the functionality is poor. Its not totally reliable. Sometimes with the pedal pressed the keys do not sustain. When lifting my foot off the pedal, the muting of the keys isn't always predictable or immediate. I use this with a casio CTK-2300 keyboard so there should not be any compatibility issues.

Please Be WARNED!
December 30, 2015
I can not provide a review of the bench itself. I have not opened the box it arrived in. The first thing you see on the outside of the box is a PROP 65 Warning. The warning states "This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm". When reviewing the item to order it there is no information regarding this potential for bodily harm. Had there been I would NOT have ordered it...who wants to risk getting cancer, be unable to have children or causing your unborn child to have birth defects ? In order to return the bench I will have to pay $12.08 out of my pocket. I do not feel I should have to pay to return since the item was not represented properly.
comfortable, affordable
July 9, 2015
Seller should have informed Buyers that the Keyboard Bench box has a small warning label "PROP 65 WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm." This important health information was not revealed at the Amazon site. Although living in NY, I care about these health issues, and would not have purchased it if stated. Therefore, I intend to return it unopened. Yes, the Keyboard Bench may be portable, comfortable, affordable, and sturdy. But, it is worth it at such a health risk?!
My Back is KILLING ME.
April 6, 2015
A Keyboard Bench is a long term investment that you can't afford shortcuts on. I learned this the hard way after purchasing the World Tour Bench. You will be sitting on this Bench every single day and it will not be comfortable in the long run. A lot of the best piano playing comes from a tenseless body, this bench will leave you incredibly tense even after just forty minutes of practice. Do yourself a favor. Don't buy this Bench. Buy something more expensive if it can get you comfort, especially if you intend on practicing every day. Your back, forearms, fingers, and future piano technique will thank you.
This seat is CROOKED
September 7, 2013
It felt uneven and so I put a leveler on it and sure enough it isn't even flat. Not only that, I ordered this and over a week later it did not arrive so I emailed amazon and they said they would send me another because it got lost in transit. They could have told me that. So 1 star for World Tour for selling uneven benches and making them in china where people work 16 hour days just to barely survive and 1 star for Amazon for losing the package before it even reaches ups and doing business with World Tour. I wish I just when to a friendly music store and got a bench even if it meant paying twice as much as this
