Stylish and Comfortable
September 1, 2017
Excellent packing, very comfortable, good looking, no odors or squeaks (as others have complained), slides easily, doesn't tip over unless you want that, perfect for office, dinette, or workshop, price is right (especially with free shipping). I highly recommend it.
Basic, but sturdy black chairs

Sturdy, cute chairs. They are great space savers because the armless feature let's you tuck them right up to the table.
I'm 6'1" & 330 & it was very comfortable.

Just got it, opened up the box & while it took forever to get the safety packing off - it was worth it because chair was in perfect condition.
I was shocked at how sturdy & comfortable it was without a chair pad.

$30 for 30 minutes for infinite days
September 25, 2017
Less than $30, less than 30 minutes to put together, less than 30 minutes needed to spend at the beginning and end of the day. There are desks you pay hundreds of dollars for, just to end up using your bed as a workstation instead anyway. And there's this.Less than $30! AND amazingly straightforward and simple to put together. I didn't have space in the car when I moved, so I just bought another one to put together at my new abode. The shelves on the side aren't the same heights, which is easy to deal with: just use them for different stuffHaving a raised platform on the left side would be preferable, as I'm right-handed and like raising my laptop. I compromise by just sitting farther left at the desk, letting about half of the top be dedicated to my computer. That means there's space for writing or comparing notes on papers, but not many at a time.I personally like it in the corner of my bedroom, where I have a whiteboard and cork board to place my goals and to-do lists. It's small enough for me to spend minimal time there before going out and doing what my boards say!I hope this review was helpful!
Cannot Go Wrong For The Price
September 7, 2017
I was kinda hesitant to buy this because it was so cheap, but I had to get rid of the ugly card table my husband was using.Came in quicker than expected and was heavier than expected (by heavier, I mean that I actually had to use a little muscle to lift the entire box). While my husband seemed offended that I had ordered it, after he let it sit in the box for 2 days it went together in about 20 mins and fit perfect in the little spot I had in mind.Happy wife. Happy life.

It's not hard to put together if you're paying attention. I put a piece in backwards and had to nearly start over. My bad. Just one note: the surface is very sensitive to scratches, so be careful during assembly. It's pretty attractive and functional for the price. We have a printer, earring holder, and big pile of coupons on the bigger surface; a laptop on the smaller surface; a ream of paper on the bottom shelf; and tin cans filled with craft supplies on the middle shelf. It all holds sturdily.I'll add pictures whenever I get to organizing it :P
No trouble with assembly or damage, everything went smoothly
June 29, 2017
after reading all the reviews about it arriving damaged and being ill fitting, I was sceptical...but for 20$, totally worth a try! Sure glad i tried, it fit together easily, took about 30mins, and is very sturdy. Looks great, not to big and not to small, perfect for my space.
Good for tight spaces!
January 19, 2017
Perfect little desk and does it's job. With my desktop and keyboard, it leaves little room for anything else. This doesn't bother me because the dimensions are listed and I needed something this small to fit into my already small apartment. It was easy to put together and feels sturdy, although my only complaint would be that they could have made the top self a little wider, my HP is hanging over the edge a bit. Overall, perfect for a minimalist but wouldn't recommend for a student that needs elbow room to study.

I am a very large person, and this chair is very, very sturdy. I will say, though, that it isn't very comfortable. The metal frame isn't well padded, so you can feel it through the seat. Also, I wish that the chair were a little wider. But it is very sturdy, and it will easily hold someone 600 pounds or more--you just won't want to sit on it for long periods at a time.

We're using this chair in a training room, and it needs to stack. The quality of this chair is good, and feels sturdy. We like the no arms to keep everyone alert. :) Some of our employees wouldn't mind sitting in it for hours at a time. Overall good chair.

Very Good For the Price
July 3, 2017
When rating this product, you have to keep the price point in mind. Everything went together easily and actually looks pretty decent once together. You won't be putting anything too heavy on it and won't win many awards for attractiveness - but it's a functional desk for an extremely deep discount.I'm going with 4 stars because of the weight restrictions. The included paperwork notes that none of the side shelves should exceed 10 pounds (likely due to the hollow plastic supports). Again, I'm not expecting a rugged tank for $25 - but seeing a printer full of paper and large books, I wasn't thinking sub 10 pounds.
Good enough for the price
January 11, 2017
I have to say that for the price, this is an item that gets the job done. Its easy to assemble.Make sure to buy it for lite to moderate use. Don't expect it to handle a lot of weight or movement. The box itself shipped with a couple of damaged wood panels but the customer support response from Furinno is quick and they'll send you a replacement of the damaged parts.
How to love your new desk...
November 27, 2016
Here is my review/suggestions.... I am a composer/musician/artist/mosaicist and work from home - basically a work-station for each discipline. Purchased two of these to clear up space in my livingroom. 27$ - so I purchased two. This is NOT a product to be all gung-ho in assembling. Make some tea/coffee/other beverage, relax, put on some music, and enjoy the journey of assembly, while getting to know the new addition to your flat.Things to consider -1 - Not Tiffany quality, but if put together with some extra love, it will last awhile.2 - Gorilla Glue, wood glue version. This is optional, but recommended. GLUE EVERYTHING! From the screws to the joints NOTE - this will render your product moot for return and disassembly. But, it will be sturdier to some degree since this is particle board.3 - Cats. If you have them, either put them away while you assemble or accept that they will want to 'help'. Be aware there are tiny things they might eat or play with and lose, and it comes with styrofoam (which I don't understand why they still use - it's just harmful to everything)4 - Surfaces. This scratches easily and I have cement floors. Put a towel down or do this on carpet to avoid scratches. Make sure whatever you decide, it's as level/flat as possible.5 - Power Drill. Be seriously carefull with this. Use one, yes, but short, light, bursts, as this is particle board and will rip apart easily.6 - Cleaning. Soft towel and Windex or other light cleaner works well. Don't be aggressive as it scratches easily. The instructions are... ok. Do a mock run before final assembly, especially if you opt to use glue. When gluing joints and whatnot, have a heavy object near to place on top while you allow the glue to dry a bit before continuing. The pieces are marked with LETTERS in RED, however, kind of hard to read. But at least they are there. Also which direction they go can also be kind of vague. Some of the diagrams are not accurate. I have included a photo one. The LARGER rods go on the btm and the SMALLER ones on top. The TOP caps you kind of have to just keep turning, even when flat to the shelf, until it can't turn any further. If you opt to use glue - wait a few hours before using it to make sure the glue has dried/sealed.This desk can ONLY be assembled in one direction - shelves only on the one side. I purchased two and am just going to turn the other one around - or you can be reckless and free and drill new holes, going against the conformity of the directions. You Go Rockstar! (You will run the risk of destroying your new desk). It's shallow - as in from what is deemed the front to the back. 15.5". Enough for a monitor and keyboard (there is NO keyboard pull-out shelf). But not much else. All depending on the size of keyboard/monitor you have. A standard/typical desktop hard drive will fit on the lower shelf. And JUST that - depending on its weight. Again - particle board, not quite that strong. Portable hard drives and what not are perfect for the upper shelf. Photos, nicknacks, and whatnot are perfect for the top shelf - however, if you have cats, they will just be invitations to knock off. Fair warning. This desk is OPEN - as in there are NO extra holes for cords. Again, you can drill new ones yourself but you run the risk of destroying your desk. It's compact - very compact. It can fit most places in a flat - like a tiny car can fit in random/odd spaces. But pretty much just a computer/laptop station. This is NOT a desk for someone who likes to spread out while they work - hence, I purchased two. There ya go, these are just my thoughts/suggestions. It's a good desk. It works. Don't be rough with it, and it will last. Go Forth and Create!
prepare for assembly.
October 15, 2016
This desk came completely un-assembled. But, it was super easy to assemble. The work area where the computer is shown is a little small but perfect if you're just using a computer. I have speakers, and usually a textbook out on my desk, I put the speakers on shelves and converted a nightstand to sit alongside the desk making it an L shape. Works for me. I love that it features book shelves too, I probably have about 30 books on it. What sold me on this was price. I saw the price and said what the heck. I'll give it a go. And it has worked awesome.
I wasn't expecting the kind of executive desk like one might find in the office of a fortune 500 CEO.
December 12, 2015
There was one major con this desk had that took away a star. The bottom self of the book case seems to be about an inch longer than the other shelves, so even if you push the desk all the way back, there is still about an inch between the desk and the wall (as you can see in one of my pictures) making it really wobbly. I also have carpet lining the base of my wall, which doesn't help. I found a helpful fix that stabilized the desk a bit. I cut an old cardboard box into several pieces, and glued/taped the pieces together until I had a cardboard stack that fit snugly between the wall and the desk. In one of my pictures, I made arrows showing where I put the reinforcements. I put two on both ends of the main part of the desk, one behind the top shelf of the book case, and one behind the 2nd shelf. I also put a reinforcement under bottom shelf of the bookcase. I once stepped on the edge of the bottom shelf, and the desk is so light, that the whole thing tipped over because the bottom shelf is approx 3/4 of an inch off the ground. You could probably go to a hardware store and find something that would work well too, I just used what I had around the house.Other than that, I found it's really good because:-It does the job.-It was very easy to put together. I did it by myself in maybe 30 minutes, and it came with the necessary tools.-I like the book shelves. They don't seem super stable, but I keep notebooks on the middle shelf, and kept 2 textbooks on the bottom; I would lay them flat though.-I knew what I was getting myself in for $35. I wasn't expecting the kind of executive desk like one might find in the office of a fortune 500 CEO.
Great Product If You're on a Budget!
August 15, 2013
I bought this desk because i desperately needed somewhere to put my stuff and i chose this product because of the price. Reading all the reviews I thought I would regret my purchase but I'm perfectly okay with the desk. Its nothing fancy but its a sturdy enough desk to work on. I understand why there were complaints about the desk, certain issues like the screws not fitting in the pre-drilled holes and what not but you just have to be patient and work with what you get, I had the same problem but was able to fix it fairly easily. Another problem mentioned was a part breaking off, I'm sorry to say but that only happened because you put too much pressure on the screws, I only tightened with enough pressure to secure the parts together, you just have to get the feel of when enough tightening has been applied. The desk is as good as it gets for $35 so just know that allot of these reviews aren't being as fair as they should be considering the circumstances. Point simple, If you like the look of the desk, need it on a budget, and take care of your things, i recommend this desk to you. :)Also:: this is probably a two-person job but i did it on my own and got it done within about an hour.

I purchased this chair for the sled base legs and really like it. The chair is perfect altogether, yet the vinyl rubs against the lower support bar and makes an annoying squeak. If I could go back, I would have purchased the fabric covered chair instead of this one.

Easy enough to build, but came out uneven.
July 16, 2017
Let me preface this by saying that I've built my fair share of furniture. Bedframes, nightstands, bookshelves, entertainment centers... I'm no stranger to following directions and using a screwdriver. Most of what I've built is IKEA stuff, which are notorious for having less-than-stellar instructions, so I feel comfortable saying I know how to do this sort of thing. The directions for this desk say that it will take roughly 30 minutes, and can be done by one person. While I didn't have much difficulty at all, I will say that the build took me closer to an hour. I had some minor difficulties getting screws into pre-drilled holes, but my biggest complication came from getting the back piece (where your legs would go) secured. You have to hold it up while trying to screw it on, so having a second person to hold it in place would definitely help!Something I really liked about this from the start, was that they stamped the pieces with the letter of what piece it was. That made the instructions much easier to follow. My biggest gripe about this desk, is that after it was built and put where it was gonna go, it wasn't level. At first I thought I might have been seeing things, but I put a tube of lipstick on it, and sure enough- it rolled off. Pretty disappointing, because I haven't had that issue with ANY piece of furniture I've built in the past. As a quick fix, I wound up cutting up strips of cardboard, and sticking it under the leg that needed more height. This COULD be because I have it on carpet, but as I haven't had this issue with any other piece of furniture, I'm inclined to believe it's an error with the piece itself.Overall, I'm reasonably happy with it. I feel like $30 was overpriced for the quality of it, but it does what I need it to.Pictured:-Video of lipstick rolling right off.-Picture where you can see that it clearly isn't level with the heating baseboard, or the poster that we hung with a level. Sorry for the cord management!-Stamped "B" on a piece.-Stack of cardboard that I put under the leg- yes, it had to be that big before it was level!-Picture of bottom of leg showing cardboard underneath.
You get what you pay for
June 21, 2017
This is exactly what you pay for: Cheap. Outside of the box having had to been dropped from at least 20' with very little visible damage to the box, the inside was trashed, the foam packing was totally destroyed, the parts bag was ripped open and the parts spread throughout the box, some minor damage to the edges of the shelves, and a few parts missing, the desk went together without too much of a problem. I used a popular wood glue to the parts needing dowels as a couple were missing, this will insure a permanent join that will not come loose, ever. Some of the holes that the cam-lock screws went in had tear-out at the top which allowed the screw to go in farther than it should causing a bulge at the top of the board. Also noted that quite a few of the holes were not at a 90 degree angle, but slightly off causing the screw to go in at a slight angle. The instructions are somewhat vague at times, but otherwise work. The shelves have a 10 lb weight limit with a 20 lb limit for the desk top, just enough to hold a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The two side shelves are attached with only 2 screws and 2 plastic legs each, so I would be careful of what they are loaded up with, the top shelf will probably hold more than 10 lbs.All in all, if you are looking for a really inexpensive desk (like cheap) this will work, I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids without adult supervision as the desk is really not on the strong side.

April 24, 2017
For the price, it's a good simple desk - better for a child or a very simple workspace with nothing more than a laptop. I bought it for the latter reason and it serves that function. Additional pro - it assembles pretty easily and the directions sent are pretty straightforward. Cons - very cheap construction (super light particle board); plastic dowels were omitted from the hardware pack, so I had to improvise for stability; cannot be trusted to hold anything but your laptop and maybe a couple of books. Do not try to place a printer or similar equipment on the top right shelf. Overall, okay for the purposes I've stated above.

March 23, 2017
Absurdly lame design. You'd think the side half-cabinet-half-bookshelf thing would be useful for holding various objects but there is no object in the world that meets the combination of weight, size, and frequency of use supported by this idiotic monstrosity. Get an ordinary table and a bookshelf or a table with a cabinet instead.Modern design really went wrong here. Our forefathers made much, much better things with three planks of wood. This table was clearly not designed by someone who intended to use it himself.Three stars instead of one because (a) it's my fault for buying it and (b) it works. That's something.
Cheap wobbly desk that gets the job done?...
December 19, 2016
Well the ol' saying goes you get what you pay for is definitely true here. It looks good once you put it together, but half of the holes didn't line up correctly so I ended up with slanted wooden pieces on the narrow strips and the legs are slightly off balance. Thankfully it's on a carpet floor but it still wobbles if you bump it. The laptop that's on it can be used but you have to stabilize the desk slightly with your arms to prevent it from knocking back into the wall. The "wood" is NOT real wood but particle board with a coating over it and the packaging does NOT protect most of the surfaces so if you get dings or dents in the package then it scrapes the wooden layer up making it look tacky. That is what happened to some of mine. If you want a cheap desk that looks okay then by all means feel free to order it but if you want a nice elegant looking desk then I would look elsewhere.
Great price on a budget makes for a poorly made desk
August 29, 2016
I was really apprehensive about getting this desk because of all the mixed reviews right now. Currently I sit in my New York apartment, writing this review, with my laptop on this very desk. With every word I type, there's a constant wobbling of the desk, courtesy of the not very refined wood and assembly attached with the desk. Don't get me wrong: I understand the concept of receiving what I paid for. Although the price was excellent on my budget, I wouldn't have minded splurging another $30 if I knew I could get something sturdier, or even slightly bigger. With that being said, the pros to the desk include it being a large enough desk to study/do homework on, maybe in a dorm room or for a teenager even (definitely not for an aspiring writer in his/her 20s, though). The price was excellent, as mentioned above, and the three shelf compartments I have used to store things such as books and make up accessories. The cons are as follows: the wood had chipped upon accidental insertion of a screw into a hole that wasn't mean to hold it (my fault, but man, that was a quick chip); the wobbliness of the desk itself; poor labeling of each part. This was the biggest issue for me, though: the four poles that are given to you (two short ones, two long ones) aren't correct in sizing, nor are they marked correctly on the instruction packet. I had to switch the placement of the poles, the long ones going to the bottom, in order to support the second shelf. The top shelf is merely being supported by poles that couldn't screw into the longer poles, as the short ones are meant to screw into the long ones, so I just have to hope for the best and be very careful with how I use my desk. So good luck to ya.

I just moved into my first house as a college student and needed to find a cheaper desk to do my homework quickly. Amazon is always my first go to. However, this desk is a no from me. Although it is very easy to put together and ships to you fairly quickly, the desk was very small and unsteady. I was uncomfortable sitting at the desk and every time I would erase or move the whole desk would shake. In the long run it's worth it to pay a little bit more for a better desk.

The desk came in a box perfect condition the black parts that hold up the desk were scratched the top of the desk is excellent looking. This will barely hold a laptop. Very cheaply made. Would return but my husband refuses to take it apart.
Decent budget desk with a few issues.
March 11, 2017
This review would honestly get 4 out of 5 stars, if not for the assembly issues I had. I have mixed feelings about this desk. I was looking for a good budget desk and it seemed to have decent reviews. My issue, for the most part, isn't the desk itself, but the required assembly - The hardware it came with was good, but the side shelves did not have any pre-drilled holes at all - I had to make them myself. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but when I tried to do this, two of the three side shelves cracked apart the moment I tried - I was eventually able to connect the shelves to the desk, but the wood is noticeably cracked as a result, and I had to supply my own hardware (The included screws were a little too big for the side shelves).I wasn't expecting the best quality, but I didn't think it would be so cheaply made to the point that the slightest attempt at putting the shelves together would damage it. In addition, the holes to connect the top shelf to the desk top were off - I had to drill two new ones to connect the top shelf to the desk properly. It is sturdy enough - It's not the strongest desk, but after getting it assembled, it holds up well enough. Not the best, but for someone on a budget, it's a pretty good choice, especially if all you need is a basic workspace (Which is what I was hoping to use this for.)

This is my 3rd item from Furnino. I had been pretty satisfied with the previous 2 items This time I am disappointed with the quality as there are lot of scratches. and the edges are also scrubbed off at lot of places where the black color is chipped off. I was planning of keeping it at a corner in my living room where I needed something to keep my laptop that I use for streaming on TV. But it is not worth putting it at a place where you will have lot of visitors. I was in 2 minds whether to return or keep it. Didn't want the hassle of return. I kept it in one of my rooms where guests won't see it.

Very disappointed
February 18, 2014
I can study just about anywhere, so long as the chair works fine. I don't need anything fancy, I can do fine with a fold up chair so long as it's sturdy and well built. The trouble with this chair is it's really, really top heavy. It tips over so easily that it's very frustrating, it doesn't matter if it's on a solid surface or carpet, it is the same. It just feels poorly designed. I was hoping for a serviceable chair, but it's just an irritation more than anything. That and it KILLS my back, and normally I do fine studying or working, browsing, etc. in almost any chair (so long as they're not broken).

This chair feels poorly designed. Why would you not keep the weight lower? It'd be easily fixed if they made the bottom a bit heavier. Sad, it looked good from all the 5 star reviews; 40 bucks wasted.

I was very disappointed when I opened this because the silver things are plastic and they look so cheap and the overall quality sucks. I guess you get what you pay for.
That's what I get for not buying Sauder

This is super flimsy. It arrived scratched, and scratched easily during construction. It wobbles. I followed instructions because I am literate but it is still poorly built. Lesson learned, sticking with Sauder.
Don't waste your time!

I bought this desk for my daughters room so she would have somewhere to do homework. This desk isn't worth the money I paid for it. I wasn't expecting much for the price. I was however expecting that it would have pre-drilled holes where it was suppose to have them. Putting this together was a nightmare. I don't think it will last long because it is so flimsy. We are on the hunt for another desk! Would not purchase again
Cheap; do not buy

This desk is incredibly cheap. Easy to put together, but the quality is definitely lacking. I have had it built for just over a week now, and having only used it a few times, the finish is already chipping and it is already wobbling. The price may be enticing, but it's not worth the little amount of money that it costs. DO NOT THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY ON THIS DESK
No hardware. No instructions.

No instructions, no hardware. Renders desk useless. Cool christmas gift, thanks a lot.
how useful.

I recently ordered this desk and it didn't come with screw or dowel or nail leg or cam lock screw or cam lock nut or top cap. It says on the manual this desk comes with all the hardware but surprisingly i have none and tried contacting customer service and no one connects. Now i just have bunch of wood sitting in my room, how useful.
