Five Star Reviews: | 70% I love these gloves October 7, 2017 I love these gloves. I recently joined a boxing gym and these are the perfect pair of gloves. They are light weight and easy to take on and off even when my hands are wrapped.I went ahead and got a pair for my husband too!We both love them. worth it. August 29, 2017 love love love them not only are they a cute color but they also hold their own during the work out they fit well and every punch is handled well. Five Stars August 17, 2017 Got these for a college kickboxing class. Fit my small hands well and held up throughout the semester! Very nice. June 9, 2017 Very nice set of gloves that I got for my girlfriend. She is very small and petit but these work well with her especially while she's learning some combos. My wife beats me. July 2, 2016 My wife beats me. Since I got her these, I don't have as many concerned strangers asking me awkward questions. Highly recommended!! good gloves for kick boxing classes. May 2, 2016 It saved my knuckles in my kick boxing classes (moderate intensity) | 54% AWESOME! August 25, 2017 This is actually the 4th pair of gloves I bought in an attempt to have SOMETHING. And they're PERFECT. I have small / thin hands and while these would definitely fit someone with hands bigger than mine, they're thin and comfortable enough that the extra 'room' doesn't get in the way. If you're having trouble fitting I would highly recommend them. I would think that any youth boy through adult woman (with large hands) would fit these just fine. If you're a man with large hands, they will likely be tight around your palms. Good on punching bag July 31, 2017 Bought a bag to work out some stress at the time. Worked really well at protecting my hands...wanted just to work out stress not to injure myself. I use them and so do the kids. It ... December 21, 2016 I use them and so do the kids. It certainly saves your skin from getting bruised and torn. I was not impressed upon first sight, but they turned out to be well worth the purchase. Great gloves! July 27, 2015 These gloves fit perfect and are great quality. I got these to kickboxing classes and couldn't be more pleased. They are very well made and work quite well for what I use them for. They have plenty of wrist support and are really easy to put on. They are very well priced, I was pleased to be able to get them for such a deal. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone who bag trains September 24, 2014 I was pleasantly surprised by these bag gloves. They are every bit as well made and of the quality of bag gloves that are two and three times the price of these. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone who bag trains. |
Four Star Reviews: | 14% Fit is a little small May 21, 2017 Overal quality is great. The fit seems to be a littler small then other gloves I tried. The color is great and I like how lightweight they are April 18, 2017 The color is great and I like how lightweight they are. They are however a little larger in the wrist area if you have small wrists. I just wrap mine prior to a boxing class and they fit securely and comfortably! I also ordered my wrist wraps from Amazon. ... gloves for kickboxing classes and they have held up nicely. I think they are good quality especially for ... June 9, 2016 I use these gloves for kickboxing classes and they have held up nicely. I think they are good quality especially for the price. I recommend these to anyone who is just starting out with boxing/kickboxing. I'm 5'7 120lbs and found the smaller 8oz sized gloves fit good. If it helps to gauge size, I wear a size small latex/nitrile glove. If you have long fingers, you'll probably want the bigger size. Surprisingly good! December 31, 2011 This purchase was for my wife. I am a boxer and I use expensive, $200 gloves for my training. So, I'm picky. I wanted to get something for my wife so that she could protect her hands and add a little weight/resistance to her at home cardio workouts. We decided to start with the Everlasts, just to see if she liked boxing and would keep up with it. These turned out to be very well-built and protective. Ventilation is good and they won't develop any smells as long as you don't leave them in a closed area (like a gym bag). Padding is well-distributed. Material is fairly durable (not as good as leather, though). My wife is 5'6", 110lbs and fits the 8oz glove snugly, without wraps. If you are hitting a bag, use wraps and go for a larger glove.Though these are a "cheap" glove, they are very adequate for someone starting out. If you find yourself getting into boxing, your next step would be quality leather gloves in the $50 to $80 range. But, as a starter, I can recommend these. Shes proud to own them and they encourage her to stay active. | 23% Four Stars August 18, 2017 Great padding, a little "plastic-y" but the fit is great and they're great for speed bag work. these are not the highest quality but they do the ... May 11, 2017 these are not the highest quality but they do the trick and they were cheap. had mine for a month now and threads are starting to fray and or come out. Still holding together though. Four Stars March 29, 2017 Great product for the price. They are a little big on me but still usable. Arrived on time. Gloves ok, company who sells them is helpful for sure which is a nice change nowadays August 17, 2015 Two things... First the gloves themselves are decent. They do feel a bit flimsy but then again they are pretty inexpensive so not expected to be something amazing for under ten bucks. They serve their purpose fine.Other is about the company itself that sells it. They are no doubt in Asia from my several email exchanges I have had with them. Despite being a little choppy on English, which I understand of course, they were quite accommodating when I had the gloves ship to me a bit defective. Just the stitching was not tight, in fact was loose near the thumb on one glove. They couldn't supply replacement quickly so they refunded me without much effort. Honestly I appreciate their willingness to be helpful and stand behind their product. So in that alone I would buy from them again. |
Three Star Reviews: | 7% Don't know if this will last. July 29, 2017 Bought my wife these boxing gloves. As soon as we saw loose threads all over the product, we already became hesitant about it. Feels like the stitches are ready to give up after a few uses. We're giving it a three star rating because she said it fits her fine and the color is nice and the sort of bag that comes with it is pretty nice. We'll update this review after she's done with a few rounds. Not great. July 22, 2017 Honestly, I suppose these gloves are OK if you aren't in serious training for boxing/kickboxing or you don't do classes very often. Otherwise, these foam gloves don't offer enough protection and after three high-intensity kickboxing classes my hands were in a lot of pain. If you are doing light training or light practice I'm sure they are fine, but I was told by professionals that these are foam and that gel is the way to go. Good price/quality May 8, 2017 These gloves are pretty ok, the back part (the hand's palm) is very thin and does not give any protection, not that you really need it there but if you to drills with a partner that hits your gloves keep that in mind. Otherwise the interior grip is very comfortable! These have worked pretty well for me February 10, 2017 These have worked pretty well for me. However, after a few months of kickboxing class (boxing 1-2 times a week) I could feel the padding in the gloves starting to wear down a bit. It might be worthwhile to invest in a slightly nicer pair. durable and good gloves so if you have smaller hands than say June 1, 2015 product description was not clear on sizing and these are just a touch too small for my hands.however, these are well-made, durable and good gloves so if you have smaller hands than say, someone 5-8" or 5-10"+ I would recommend a larger size. True about the smell, but good cushioning March 3, 2015 These gloves DO have an odor to them; like the smell of a car mechanics garage, which does rub off on your hands when you wear them. (possibly the materials it's made from? Not sure if this is normal...) Your hands WILL sweat inside and though they don't have very effective ventilation, they protect the hands pretty well, even without wrapping your hands first. Overall a decent glove. I really hope that smell does go away though with time. | 11% y!kes October 7, 2017 the material itself is fine buti started hitting my boxing bag with them and the skin of my knuckles started to peel off and the cover didn't protect my handsi can't box for two weeks nowthanks so much wow i can't wait to use them again Too big for tiny hands, doesn't strap around wrist January 29, 2017 These are nice but I won't purchase them a second time because they're way too big for my hands. It doesn't strap around my wrist which is a no-no for me since it takes away from the support there. Smelly gloves December 6, 2016 The smell alone made me rate this product a three stars. The gloves had a fishy smell to it. I would have loved the gloves and gave a 5 star. I was embarrassed to take it to class. Just your basic gloves. They are a little stiff ... May 10, 2016 Just your basic gloves. They are a little stiff out of the box... 20mins and they are starting to break in. May come back and add a star if they last more than a year. Hard to pass up on the price. You get what you pay for; and these are basic gloves. Not a complaint... just what it is. |
Two Star Reviews: | 3% Gloves not as pictured and not women's September 29, 2017 I received flourescent green and blue gloves instead of the blue in the picture. Additionally, the gloves listed stated they were for women and the gloves I received are not. They're huge on me and fit my husband much better. They're just too loose and my hands slip around. Very disappointed as I researched this and wanted a glove specifically made for women. Runs small over wraps September 5, 2017 I'm 5"0 on the petite side, and they were too tight over my wraps. Should be for children or those under 5"0. DONT BUY!!!! September 20, 2016 If you are going to do cardiovascular boxing, kickboxing or even my FAVORITE MUAY THAI. INVEST MONEY IN TITLE gel bag GLOVES FOR BOXING OR for kickboxing or may thai buy FAIRTEX,TWINS,TOP king or venum. Make sure you buy leather gloves.. Don't order these if you want the ones in the picture. May 4, 2016 Received the gloves, they aren't the ones that are pictured for sale, they are the older style gloves...the plain old basic ones but at lest they got the color right. Wife wanted the ones they show on this page, she got the ones she doesn't want. She's disappointed therefore I'm disappointed.. Really disappointing June 7, 2015 These gloves are almost impossible to fasten on your own. Or, the second glove is virtually impossible to fasten on your own and they provide less support for your wrist. I bought these gloves as a replacement for the gloves that I wore out. The old gloves had wraps that went around the wrist twice, making it easy to fasten the gloves securely even on my own. These gloves only wrap around the wrist once, providing less support and making it difficult to manage the second glove (because your hand is already in the first glove--it's difficult to explain, but you would understand if you've done it.). I'm going to see if I can find different gloves with better wrist support. | 4% Two Stars August 23, 2017 Gloves rubbed the skin off my knuckle, does not protect from injuries from just a punching bag. Skinned Knuckles August 18, 2017 Bought these to use on a heavy bag. The padding themselves is fine, but it leaves my top knuckles exposed which always leads to them getting skinned. Ended up buy a pair of boxing gloves instead so I didn't have to use these anymore. The material will crack easily. OVERALL DO NOT September 14, 2016 Nooo, these are cheap. I gave them to my 6 year old son to do what he wanted with. I only bought them for a light kickboxing class and would never use them. They are stiff and you can't form a fist with your hand. The material will crack easily. OVERALL DO NOT BUY Not that great, but will work? September 3, 2016 These are not that great. They're super stiff and it's hard to bend your fingers and form a fist. But I guess they'll work? I feel like these were very cheaply made August 5, 2016 I feel like these were very cheaply made, which I suppose for approximately $6.00, what should I expect. I rarely use them since they are somewhat too big for my female hands. Will not be buying this again. |

I thought that the brand 'everlast' meant that the gloves were comfortable and supportive. After initially wearing the badboy glove brand, I purchased a pair for myself and immediately threw them off for my badboy gloves. My knuckles were sore and it did not absorb the impact properly. It was also uncomfortable compared to the badboy brand and the blows had a higher impact.Definitely would return or re-sell. Bought these for my 9-year-old to use in his Muay ... January 30, 2017 Bought these for my 9-year-old to use in his Muay Thai class. They didn't last long at all. Cheap construction with no wrist or knuckle support. My son complained about writs pain after using them, even with wraps on. After almost two months he started using my Twins Special 10oz gloves and does not want to give them up. The last pair of gloves I had lasted me for ... April 4, 2016 The last pair of gloves I had lasted me for 5 years. This pair of gloves lasted for 2 months before the velcro tab began ripping at the elastic. Too small March 6, 2016 These gloves were too small for my 11 year old. I returned them and bought a nearly identical pair(12 oz) at the local sports store after making sure they fit properly. I'm not sure why the store bought pair fit larger. Sorry but I don't remember whether the Amazon gloves were 8 oz or 12 oz. Too small, too stiff, cheap quality January 7, 2015 I was disappointed in these gloves. I have tried out other 12oz gloves from Everlast and loved them but the quality of these particular ones are really low. They are too hard and stiff, feel cheap, and are too small. I noticed at a local sporting goods store that all of the bright and fun-colored Everlast gloves feel like this, but the standard black ones are great! This purchase unfortunately is a definite return. Hopefully they can start making better quality gloves in other cool colors. Very poorly made January 18, 2014 Was not happy with this purchase. I train in kickboxing and used them maybe a total of 5 times before they started falling apart. I refuse to wear leather and know there has to be quality made women's boxing gloves out there that does not use leather, but this product is not one of them. | 8% Loose stitching September 27, 2017 Got this as a gift but when I asked the recipient what they thought of it, the feedback I got was that the stitching in some parts was torn. I think it's the part that separates the fingers?.. Thought it was safe to try this product because of such great reviews. I understand though that in any manufacturing there will always be some units that come out less than perfect. Just too bad it had to be the one I was giving as a gift. Lol Completely useless. Designed more like a motorcycle riding glove August 17, 2016 Would prefer to give this 0 stars. Not at all what is pictured. Completely useless. Designed more like a motorcycle riding glove Cheap and almost no padding. March 13, 2016 For starters the shipping took almost a month, but when they got here they were uncomfortable and hard to put on because there isn't much on the palm to hold on to. Punching my punching bag almost had no effect compared to punching with bare knuckles and they have almost none to little padding. Wasn't even worth the price. These gloves may be great but I didn't get to find out because the ... March 6, 2016 These gloves may be great but I didn't get to find out because the pair I received was too big for my hands. Not only did it take forever for them to arrive but when I tried to exchange them I was told that it wouldn't be worth it because of shipping costs and that I should give them to a friend. Disappointed... |
